Baron Samedi
Correct: Parachutes! My riddle: What ship has no captain but two mates? @Morpheus: Is 'hair' actually the answer? Morpheus
Waxing. You burn the hair and rip it off. I can sizzle like bacon, I am made with an egg, I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg, I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole, I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole, What am I? Baron Samedi
@Morpheus: I must say that whole 'burning us in public buildings' is still a bit dodgy ;) Courtship is the correct answer, though I suppose relationship could be as well. My riddle: Svetlak ordered a fishing rod, priced at $3.56. Unfortunately, Svetlak is an Eskimo who lives in a very remote part of Greenland and the import rules there forbid any package longer than 4 feet to be imported. The fishing rod was 4 feet and 1 inch, just a little too long, so how can the fishing rod be mailed to Svetlak without breaking the rules? Ideally Svetlak would like the fishing rod to arrive in one piece!
instantramen14
These two go directly with each other. My first is third like the sound of the sea My second's the center of you not me My third is the end of him but not you My fourth starts a picture, not a view My fifth is in bean, though not in been My sixth and seventh start seldom seen. Sunrise, sunset, warmth and cold, put them together and a sign will unfold. The strangest thing you've ever heard A point that makes a noisy word the other three make pleas so let me start you out with 'teas'

Billy Shears
I think it's a dream... A shiek announced that a race would decide which two of his sons would inherit all his weath. The sons were to ride their camels to a certain distant city. The sons whos camel reached the city last would win the wealth. The 2 sons wander aimlessly through the journey, meet up, and seek the advice of a wiseman After listening to the advice, they rode the camels as quickly as possible to the designated city. What did the wiseman tell the sons? They didn't agree to split the wealth, but their fathers statement would be followed.
