This thread has the potential to become very spammy very quickly. I suggest people explain why they like the particular soda they enjoy them and not just list them. If the quality takes a nose dive I will close this thread. This will be the one and only reminder.

Now on topic: My favorite soda, which here in my area we call it "pop", is actually an Italian Soda. Raspberry to be exact. An Italian Soda has Club Soda, flavoring, half and half and whipped cream on top. It is very tasty and much better than just a plain old can of pop. You can usually buy them at coffee shops but I like to make my own at home. It's much cheaper that way.

Ramune can usually be found in Asian grocery stores or at most anime conventions. It's some good stuff. I enjoy the orange flavored one but nothing beats the classic Lychee flavor. I really think the bottle is half the fun of the drink! I have a bottle of Hello Kitty Ramune in the fridge right now. It has the cutest Hello Kitty print on the outside. It just rocks.

I have quite a few favorites. They are Coke Cola, Mountain Dew, Barg's root beer, Strawberry flavored Mexican soda, chocolate, and strawberry soda, and that Ramune soda as well.

They all have their different flavors. What I like about the chocolate and strawberry sodas, is that you get ice cream with them. Yum!

We don't call it 'soda' over here.. we normally call it soft drink. Anyway, one of my favourites [if it counts] would be Dr. Pepper. But to head into different areas, that relate to it, I really enjoy 'American Cream Soda', which is basically raspberry, with a tang of something different. It's delicious ^_^;

Sadly, I'm not exactly a soft-drink connoisseur, and can't offer any more than that :p

The good old Aussie 'soft-drink'. Where did we get that from? Ah well.

My favoruite would probably be the Riverport brand of Creaming Soda. Its very yummy and probably the best of the Creaming Sodas I've ever tasted. So dreamy.... *slurps on a straw* :D

I like Cream Soda in general. In particular, I like Sprecher's Root Beer and Cream Soda--they are incredible. (I toured the brewery once and got unlimited free soda samples. It was great, heh.)

My school has an agreement with the Coca-Cola company, so there are no Pepsi machines on campus--everything is Coca Cola (it also means that the University-affiliated stores can't sell Mountain Dew! Which is the official (non-alcoholic) beverage of college students everywhere.)

I also like Cherry Coke, and the "Diet Coke with Lime" thing. Plain cola doesn't really appeal to me, but both of these taste great to me (although I'm not a fan of diet soda in general.)

Ramunei Soda, hmmmm I've never actually tried that soda before. It's Japanese? Maybe I'll try and get some later. Anyways, I know its not the best thing in the world but I'm a huge soda fan. I've tried lots, and have to come to one conclusion, Orange Soda is simply the best. Why? It's not like coke where you get that heavy aftertaste feeling, with orange soda, it doesn't make you feel full and you can drink 2-3 without feeling that yucky aftertaste in your mouth. It also tastes great, i don't like oranges, but i like orange soda. wierd isn't it? but its the best stuff ever. I love it.

Never heard of this Ramunei Soda, sounds intriguing though. I'd have to say that my current favorite soda is indeed, Mountain Dew. Basically, I'm a sucker for all Coca-Cola products, because well...they are just so tasty! I get more of a flavor kick out of Coke than I do Pepsi. Just personal preference. :D

Hmm... I like Rum and Coke. It's a really intriguing mix, and you can usually pull it off in the midst of the other "foo-foo" drinks.

My favorite legitimately soda-only pop would have to be vanilla coke. I like the stuff coke made, but I actually found a more unique way of creating this delicious beverage. First, take Coke Classic and add the vanilla flavoring usually added to Italian sodas (the syrup kind). Ooooh I love it! It's the smooth taste of vanilla with the carbonated bubbly feel. I reccomend that method.

I think the japanese sodas with the little balls that float around in the top of the bottle (is that what everyone's been talking about?) are decently tasty. I prefer strawberry kiwi, and usually only get it when I visit an anime store (very rare). I also used to enjoy Stewarts' Cream Soda.... i would always get it at Barnes and Nobles... but a year ago they replaced it with IBC. A sad day that was...

Y?know, I have lived in Ohio for two years now and I still can?t bring myself to refer to soda as ?pop?. I get hassled about it constantly too.

I tend to drink more Coke Classic than anything else, so I guess it is one of my favorites, although I order Cherry Coke or Code Red Mountain Dew instead whenever they are available. I am such a whore for flavored cola.

The two soft drinks that I am fondest of are Orangina and Birch Beer. Growing up my Grandparents always had Orangina in their basement refrigerator and I remember it being sooo good. Unfortunately, I haven?t been able to find it in the grocery stores up here.

I am not sure how popular Birch Beer is out side of the Maryland, PA, Delaware, Jersey state area. It is kind of like root beer but with a little more of a wintergreen taste (it tastes a lot better than I make it sound) and it is really, really good. I only have it when I am at the beach during the summer or at my Grandparents house. Boy, do my grandparents buy good soda or what?

Heh, I am more of a Jack and Coke man myself, but I catch your drift. Mixing cheap whiskey or rum with coke is about as girly a drink as a guy can order without sacrificing his masculinity.

I love Italian Soda. They serve it at the local coffee shop, which is a great place to hang out, do homework, and talk to people, but I can't stand coffee (I'll drink cappucino, though, heh). The only kind I've really had is Huckleberry, because I like it so much it's hard to want to try anything else.

Ramune, eh? Well, if I ever get to an Anime convention, I'll track down a bottle or two. There aren't really any Anime conventions that I know of around here, though.

Softdrinks!!! ^____^

They make your tummy big, heh... except for Mountain Dew! That's why I love Mountain Dew. The Code Red is good when it's really cold, otherwise it tastes like syrup medicine thingies. Eyuck.

As for Coca Cola, I love Vanilla and Cherry Coke. I love how Vanilla Cokes have some sort of ice cream-ic aftertaste.

Barg's rootbeer is definitely in my list of favorite soft drinks..or soda to some..or pop.

I love Pepsi Max. Adore the stuff, lol. I have no idea why, either, but I think I started drinking it when I was 8 and have never looked back. XD I like the taste, and the fact it has no sugar and usually more caffeine stuff.

Apart from that I like the occasional Sarspirella, and Solo. Solo just tastes good, and I can down them in one. And sarspirella is a really lazy drink, and I associate it with hot Sundays. =P Oh, and of course I like Coke and whatnot, but it's a 'drink it cause it's there kind of thing'. I don't choose it if I have a choice.

Well. . I call it soda, sometimes pop. . but because I live in the south, I have to call it by it's specific name, because people are easily confused down here -_-

Anyways, one of my favorite drinks (which is hard to find around Tennessee) is Faygo! I love Red Pop and Rock n Rye is awesome. . Plus, Faygo comes from Detroit, Michigan (*sniff* my home *sniff*)

You so totally rock! I had Red Pop Faygo for the first time this past summer when I was in Indiana for my hubby's family reunion. I had never even heard of it before then. I loved it! The nastiest flavor was one my father-in-law picked out. It was Diet Chocolate Cream Pie!!! ewwww!! Don't ever drink that flavor, it is really nasty. Alas, Faygo is nowhere on the west coast of the US, well, at least to my knowledge.

Panda I could give you a hug, I spent eight months in Basic and technical training for the Air Force in Texas and Mississippi and everyone calls in Soda down there. I had to wait forever to get back and hear it called "Pop" again.

Oh yeah before I forget Coca Cola Classic is the greatest all time pop. Its the classic choice for the old schooler.

I usually have vanilla italian soda. It's the only other flavour I'll have besides Raspberry - at least out of the ones I've tried so far - and they've all been love or hate. I tried hazelnut, almond, and strawberry and I didn't have italian soda for months after that. But I used to be utterly addicted to ramune to the point of dragging my parents weekly to a Japanese cuisine [$60 a plate] for itt. Er, the food was good too, but hmm. >_>;

Diet coke [strike]with JD[/strike] is good also.

The worst pop ever would have to be that pink 7up. Terrible, terrible thing.
