RPG Darkness Falls: The Fall of Man [M-VSL]

As Taikaru sat in the ship on the way to London she realized that her emotions were getting through. If so she would have to let some know. "I need not to fight for justice, just for the smell of blood and what enjoyment I get out of it." Taikaru muttered to herself.
"What?" Said Lee right by her.
"Oh nothing." *I need to keep my emotions in. This is the only way I will be able to stay alive. I will need to see M.* Taikaru went into the room where M was. "M?"
"Yes, who is it?"
"Taikaru."
"Oh come on in. Is there something you need?"
"Well there is something I need to ask of you. It is if you could dive into my mind."
"Why so?"
"I need to see if you are making me feel my emotions again. I mustn't have them anymore."
"Well I saw that from the first time we met. This must really depress you."
"It is the first time I felt depressed in over fifteen years. Just do it."
"Alright. I will."

''You sure about this Taikaru...sometimes it's better to embrace your past, rather than to surpress it...but...that is in my own opinion. I too have my memories as well to deal with.''

''Just do it...please...'' pleaded Taikaru, she obviously was in some kind of turmoil within herself.

''hhhmmm...alright then...please...take a seat.''

Taikaru sat down as instructed while M took a seat next too her. Placing his hand on her back...she immidiately felt a warming sensation.

''I'm sorry if I have caused you any pain Taikaru...I did not open up your mind...believe me...something else must be drawing them out. But I will help you...this emotion I'm giving you will last for a couple of days. After that...if you want too...come talk to me ok.'' as M gave her a smile.

''Sure...um...thank you.''

M didn't answer...he already had his eyes closed. Immidiately Taikaru felt a sudden surge of energy flow through her...

[I]She has something dark within her...no...I must not look. [/I]

~Trance
As she closed her eyes...she was suddenly transported to a Buddist Temple. The air was thick...but sunlight shined down upon the ancient place, warming Taikaru to the core. Chants could be heard in the background...as she began to walk...she could see many other monks meditating, the chants were getting louder.

Deciding to rest within the temple...an auroma filled her nostrals soothing every sensation. She felt...soft...free. Taikaru had never truly believed in any god...but there was certainly something ''spiritual'' about this place. Kneeling down on the carpet, she tried to meditate. Controlling her breathing...her thoughts, those memories. She was at peace once more...

[I]Your memories are sealed for now Taikaru...[/I] a distance voice she heard in her head.
~Out of Trance

Taikaru burst her eyes open wide...finding herself back in the ship. M was gone...but she could still feel that feeling surging through her, the warmth of his hand on her back.

[I]He did it...[/I] the memories...the emotion was gone.

Andy shifted in her seat uncomfortably. She had chosen a seat next to Ivy, opposite from Farel. She fiddled with her silver crucifix uncomfortably.

" Something wrong Andy?" Ivy asked, seeing how tense the pyro was.

" I don't like flying," Andy explained, " I feel like I'm too close to God. Especially after all the sins I have committed."

Ivy had a shocked look on her face. Farel listened intently.

" Andy, you're not making any sense," Ivy replied.

Andy smiled knowingly. " When I was young, I used to use my powers to wreak havoc. My parents found out what I was doing and took me to our church. The head priest there performed a ceremony on me. He drew a tattoo upon my back - one of a phoenix. This tattoo severely diminished my powers. It limited me to only using my eyes or my right hand to summon my power. He said that God now expects me to do great things. HE has given me a burden upon my shoulders, and only HE can relieve that burden when I have proved my worth."

Even Farel looked shocked at what Andy had just said. He and Ivy just stared at Andy who had her head a little bowed.

" You two are the first that I have told about this. I do not care if you tell the others, if that is what you wish to do," Andy replied, suddenly becoming more proper in her speech. She stood up, stretching.

" I am not a patient person. Just like the flame, my papa used to say." Andy sat back in her seat again.

OOC: Sorry its short. Couldn't think of much else. At least it explains why my character is a loner. She doesn't like anyone close to her because she's scared of what she might do to them.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Taikaru came out of M?s room feeling rejuvenated in a sense that she couldn?t feel much feeling. ?Well since we are all telling each other?s stories here why don?t I tell mine.? Farel stood there wondering what could have happened to the loner like Taikaru. His face gave of the expression of ?why? and ?what the?. ?I can only tell about what things I have encountered in the past. This would be to the point I was out of the coma. The coma lasted for quite awhile. Even with today?s technology I was unable to recover my feelings such as anger, jealousy, regret, sadness, and?fear. I do feel some fear though. This is the only emotion that gets out.?
?Alright. Could you give us a brief explanation of what you mean?? Asked Farel
?Well while I was in the coma all my emotions were eaten away. After waking I couldn?t remember much. Anyway fear only gets through because I let it. It is one of the keys to activate my gift to its full potential. This is why I choose to come here. Also as you Andy have a gift you must have something that activates its true potential.?
?Well I just told everyone else. I don?t know if you heard it.?
?I heard a bit of it. After coming a quiet moment I heard the phoenix thing. Please just don?t think this is a job for you only.?
?I know that.? Andy yelled softly.
?Another thing is that we need some briefing on where everything is located.?
?Oh yes that is right you didn?t get the silver bullets. I think that means you can?t fight in this battle.? Farel said in a sorry kind of way.
?Yes well I happen to forget those but I made my own in my room. I was coating my blades with a high content silver liquid that repeatedly regenerates if any of it is lost. I also equipped my blades with holy water. That should get rid of the vampires. My guns are dissolvable bullets. It has a high content of silver with a hollow center. In the center is more holy water. It will dissolve right when it hits blood for two seconds. The secret is the bullet lodges itself in the opponent?s heart.?
?Well that is quite the gadget.? Farel said standing up.
***OVER LONDON. BE AT THE READY. WILL LAND IN FIVE MINUTES.
The PA announced to the ship. Farel went into the cock pit to get a sky view of things.
?Amazing how a war can get out of hand.?
?Get ready for evasive action vampires coming up on the right.? The pilot said. Farel went back into the cabins.
?We?re going through some heavy turbulence so hold tight.? Everyone got the seatbelts out of the wall and clipped them. The entire ship rocked to the left.
***THE VAMPIRES ARE COMMITTING SUICIDE. THEY ARE RAMMING INTO THE ENGINES. THEY REALLY WANT TO KILL US.
The PA accidentally went on. One of the pilots bumped it.
?What the hell is going on?? Taikaru said. She ran to her cabin window after unbuckling in a hurry and saw the vampires falling into the engines. There was then a jolt and the plane started to fall.
?Now would be the time for someone to do something about this.? M yelled when he came out of the cabin.
?Hey Lee don?t just sit there help us.? Farel said with the look of death coming over all the members.
As the plane was falling Taikaru walked over to Lee. She whispered to her ?Use it and I can help. If we die everything we worked for in the last few days is nothing.?
?Alright.? Lee used her telekenisis to slow the plane down. It was going down fast and that is all Lee could do was slow it down.
Plummeting right at fifty feet Taikaru went into action. Everyone was knocked out from the crash. ?God that was close. Now the only thing I have to do is protect these people from these werewolves. This could be bad.? Taikaru said. *After all, the others probably won?t wake until sundown.* She thought to herself. Taikaru was keeping up the shield that was blackish in color and transparent. She let it down finally after twenty minutes and decided to make a survey of the perimeter. ?Now this is strange. There should be werewolves here. All I see are people leading normal lives.? After that suddenly there was a dim in the sky and all the people started going nuts. From shouting ?Take cover.? to ?Oh now comes the curse.? With the others still unconscious to witness the event she felt she should put up the shield again. ?On second thought. Maybe not.? Taikaru said as all the people were now werewolves. ?You dirty little bastards. I will not forgive the one who has done this. After all I can?t forgive him for doing this I don?t remember ever forgiving anyone.? Taikaru pulled out her pistols and started firing shots at the werewolves.
Later M woke from the unconscious state and saw Taikaru overwhelmed. M saw them on the ground unconscious. ?Taikaru I will revive the others you hold them off.?
?Well you better hurry your ass up I don?t think I can hold them that much longer.?
?This may be enough proof to prove she is teamwork worthy.? M whispered to himself. With firing so much they finally were able to overwhelm her.
?Retreat. They are too overwhelming. There are too many.?
?I just need to have a little more time.? M yelled over the snarling and the growling.
?That time is not what I am able to give. All I can?? cut off Taikaru was kicked right to the near shore. She blanked out. She felt like something was dragging her but she couldn?t tell. Next thing she knew she fell unconscious in shackles.

~Later

She woke up and the sun was peering through the hole above her. There was a man outside her cage. ?Where am I??
?You are in the dungeons of the master werewolf. You have only been unconscious for a couple of minutes.?
?What about the others.?
?Don?t worry they will be fine. They are just kept on guard after being knocked out. They don?t deserve to die or even become a werewolf.? Came a voice from the door.
?Master I am glad to see you un-injured.?
?Yes that is true that the M character put up quite the fight. Now as for the matter of kidnapping.?
?What are you to do with me?? Taikaru said angrily.
?Oh don?t worry, as I said they are only unconscious. I just want to know how you got the power of which is sacred to us.?
?Sacred? What are you talking to us.?
?Now listen to me carefully. I knew this interrogation wouldn?t go right without emotions, so I had them remade for you.?
?You don?t know how to do so.?
?Oh you don?t think as the creatures of the full moon and our dimension don?t know how to recover the emotions from people. I will quit for now. I just want to ask the question. Where is the daughter of your so called president??
?I don?t know.?
?Analyze it now.? Taikaru was hooked up with some headgear she didn?t notice when she awoken.
?She is telling the truth sir.?
?Fine then I will wait. I will only use you as bait then. Patrol make sure when they wake up to tell them that their precious little shadow cleaver is in the deepest part of our dungeon. They will fall for it and then we will be able to be rewarded. We will finally kill the vampires and rule the world.?
Taikaru sat there after the leading werewolf left and thought about what he meant by sacred power.
After a second she remembered her receiver was hidden in her pocket. With the shackles long enough she grabbed it. Put it in her ear and gave for warning. ?Repeating message. Units in 500 kilometer radius. Ambush waiting. Kill the wolf. Don?t come for me unless you really need me. I will break out soon enough. End message.?

OOC: I know that last part sounds really weird but it is just something for the story.

(OOC: Just thought I'd let you know, Kiba, that LEE IS A GUY!!! Sorry about that)

Lee was woken up by M slapping him round the face.

"Whoah!" he said, waking up suddenly, "What did you do that for?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Lee, I was gonna let you stay unconscious for when the werewolves attacked!"

"Ok, I see your point," he replied, getting to his feet and drawing his handguns. He fired a few rounds at an advancing werewolf, and it fell to the ground, burning to ash.

"Lee, I need some help getting the others up!" shouted M. Lee erected a telekinetic field around them, protecting them from harm, while he ran over and woke the others up. They all got to their feet, and drew their weapons.

"Ok, there is a telekinetic field up around us. They can't get in, but we can't get out, and most importantly, neither can our bullets. I'm going to drop the field in a few seconds, so get ready to hold those bastards back. Ready?" They nodded.

"One, two, three," he dropped the field, and they all started shooting at the wolves. There were literally hundreds of them. Lee fired three rounds into the first one's chest. He dropped, turning to ash. Another one took it's place, and he disposed of that one with a single shot to the head. A third came, and he fired into it's chest. It didn't drop, and kept running at him. He shot it again, and it still didn't drop. He brought up his other handgun, and he unloaded both weapons into it's chest. It slowed down, became more sluggish, but still came at him. It was right in his face, and he didn't have time to reload his weapons, so he drew his sword and sliced it's head off. Blood fountained out of it's severed neck, and it's body fell to the floor.

"Persisitent little asshole weren't you," he said to the corpse. He moved on, throwing wolves around with his telekinesis, and slicing them apart with his sword.

Carl slouched quietly in his seat as the others talked around him, lashing together a makeshift belt that would help carry the weight of his sword. He made one last check to make sure that the sword would actually fit in it, then placed both sword and belt in a magnetic holding bracket overhead.

***OVER LONDON. BE AT THE READY. WILL LAND IN FIVE MINUTES.

"It's about time..." He muttered to himself.

Carl checked over the buckles on his body-armor, then strapped himself in as the others did. The plane rocked suddenly to the left, and the PA came alive again.

***THE VAMPIRES ARE COMMITTING SUICIDE. THEY ARE RAMMING INTO THE ENGINES. THEY REALLY WANT TO KILL US!

The plane shuddered again as another vampire's blood sprayed against the nearest window. The plane started to plummet to the ground, and all that Lee could manage was to slow it down. Carl loaded a clip of the silver bullets into both weapons, then prepared himself for the emptiness that would probably come when they hit the ground.

"......arl.......Carl........Hey, wake up!"

Carl opened his eyes and blinked violently. The others seemed to have passed out as well, and from the looks of it M and Lee going around waking them.

"We... made it?"

M nodded. "Yes. But we're not clear yet." He briefly turned his head, drawing Carl's attention to the werewolves outside, who seemed to be struggling to break through an invisible barrier.

"I see your point. Time to tool up?"

"Right." M smiled, replacing any fear in Carl's mind with a soothing warmth, then moved on to help the others. Carl slipped the Desert Eagle into the holster on his belt, tied the makeshift sword belt over the other, then took his assault rifle in hand, activating the Magnetic Acceleration system. He walked over to where the others, including the ten back-up soldiers, stood waiting for Lee to bring down the protection field.

"One..."

Carl brought the rifle up, making sure that the clip hadn't jammed or detached in the crash.

"Two..."

He braced the butt of the rifle against his right shoulder, bringing on of the werewolves into his sights......

"Three!"

......and everyone opened fire. The wolf in his sights lunged forward, catching Carl's first shot directly in the eye. It twitched violently as the sparks from the accelerated bullet danced through it's brain, then changed to ash, scattering in the wind. Carl lowered on one knee, firing a strafing burst into an oncoming group. Three fell to his attack, while a blast from M's shotgun killed two more, but they still kept coming.

One of them lunged directly at Carl, striking him in the chest and forcing him to the ground. He tried to hold it off with a few quick strikes with the butt of the rifle, but the wolf quickly knocked it out of his hands. Carl dragged the heavy sword out from under him, and swung at the wolf with all the force he could manage, striking the creature in the head with the flat side of the blade. He knocked the wolf down with a second strike, then pinned the creature's bloody head to the floor. His rifle out of reach, he pulled out the desert eagle and fired a single round into its skull. Rolling away from the rising ash, he grabbed his rifle and emptied the rest of the clip into the mass of werewolves.

He caught a good number of them in the legs with the low burst, and one of them fell directly infront of him and tried to crawl towards him. Carl stepped back out of range of the creature's claws, reloaded the rifle, and fired five bullets into its back and neck stopping it mid-swipe. Sliding the sword back into the belt and taking the desert eagle in his left hand, he walked forward and dealt with the others that had fallen.

[Akieen Cloud]

Ivy growled low in her thoat as the wolf lunged forward at her. Blood coated it's teeth.
"They have been feeding somewhere!'
She took the whip from her side and wrapped it around a wolf's neck smileing grimly.
"Stangle!"
She pulled back visciouslysnapping the beasts neck and severing it's head. She brought it back and nodded.
"Have not lost that touch yet..."
She pulled the shotgun from her back and blew a wolf's head off as it went for M's side.
"Watch all your sides M. They seem fairly intellagent."
She twirled the shotgun putting it back and grabbed her sword, she looked at one sneking up on Andy and concetrated hard, the beast swelled and exploded.
"Alright!"
She snapped the sword changing it into the whip form and began to slice and maul the wolves all around her. One lunged forward and caught her across the chest ripping her shirt and drawing blood.
"Bastard."
Her eyes began to turn a bright yellow as her anger flared. The five wolves around her exploded as well as any other she looked at till she gained control over her self. She took a deep breath and sliced one's arm off, taking the shotgun she aimed between it's eyes and shot. She continued going ike this till another caught her across the back.
"I think we should get back to back with some one, I have been caught twice."
She looked around and found Andy.

[Meggido]

As the shooting began Farel slipped in to the safety of the shadows. There he drew his daggers and slowly progressed to the back of the warewolf ranks. Occasionally he would appear and decapitate one of the bastards. When he reached the back of the ranks he decided to check something for himself and thrust his dagger through the chest of a warewolf. When he pulled it out the heart should have come with it but there was nothing. He thrust the knife into thew other side. Still nothing. The warewolf began to turn becoming irritated by the actionj of being stabbed. Farel quickly decapitated the beast. Once the body had fallen, he quickly sliced open the chest to check if there was anything in there. "Oh shit," He swore when he looked. He decided that now would be a good time to get back to the others. As he headed back warewolves started to exploding around him. He had to move quick to make sure he wasn't in the pile. [I]Ivy is letting loose[/I], was the first thing that came to mind. And then suddenly Ivy yelled, "I think we should get back to back with some one, I have been caught twice." When Farel got back to the others he pulled out his AK-47. He was back to back with M. "Hey guys, we have a slight problem." "Tell me something I don't know," Andy screamed back. "These guys have no hearts." he replied. "Of course not. Why do you think they are attacking helpless people," Andy responded. "No. I mean literally they have no heart in there chest. I carved one a nice new hole and there was nothing. Aim for the heads!!"

''THEY HAVE NO HEARTS!'' yelled M as he stomped on a Lycans head and shot it in the head with 3 shots.

''Thats right M...we should take note of this for later.''

''Good job Farel...that was valuable info...''

Everyone seemed to holding their own...Andy and Ivy each others backs, Lee was tossing Lycans oall over the place with his telekinesis, bashing them away with his sword; and Carl, well...he was doing what he did best.

[I]Wait...where the hell is Taikaru?![/I]

''Lee...where is Tiakaru?'' M yelled through his ear piece.

''Hell if I knew man...I haven't had time.''

''She was taken by the beasts a little while after Lee's barrier fell, and I haven't seen Farel anywhere.'' answered Andy.

''Sorry M...I lost her in the crowd. I tried to get to her but it was too late...she's gone.'' replied Farel.

This wasn't good, one of their members were missing already, and their support group was failing fast. M fought with all his might through the crowd of Lycans...there were too many of them for him to use his shotgun, their speed was incredible.

However M was a master with his spear...swinging and spinning in every direction with the spear being thrust and twirled with his left hand, in his right he unloaded round after round with his automatic 9mm. Swinging the spear over his head, with fluid motion he swung across decapitating a Lycan, coming back down again and almost splitting one in two, and swinging horizontally again slashing at anothers midsection. Continually spinning and turning...all he could see were more and more faces of Lycans. To his shock...he foolishly found himself seperated from the rest of the group.

''M!...you're being surrounded, get the hell out of there!'' cried out Lee, fighting two other Lycans that had surrounded him. Andy and Ivy were doing very well together, with Andy's fire abilities and Ivy's ''rage''(thought it was a good name for it:)), Lycans weren't getting even close to them.

''How is everyone doing on ammunition?'' asked M. Trying to keep the Lycans surrounding him at bay. With the length of the spear, he could keep a few at a safe distance till one had the balls to attack him.

''We're good.'' Ivy replied back.

''I'm all set.'' Lee right after.

''Shit...I'm running low M.'' as Carl roared into his ear piece.

''Me too...'' Farel replied.

[I]Damn...alright...we can't keep this up. We're pinned against the wall. [/I]

*click...''No...empty'' as the pistols chamber closed shut. Dropping the gun back into its case on his side...a Lycan leaped out of the crowd and fall right on top of M.

Switching the spear from his left to right...M stepped slightly to the side and as the Lycan came down, he thrust his fist into the beasts' sternum...going right through its body. M tossed aside and struck a couple of Lycans as they began to back away at the sight.

''Andy...I need a path back to the ship...''

''No problem...'' in the distance M could see Andy hold out her hand and five Lycans instantly burst into flames, crying in agony.

As M began to spring back towards the ship...''Carl...Farel...cover me at the ship...Lee, meet me there. Will you two be able to hold out ok for a moment?''

''Of course...who do you take us for...girls'' Ivy responded with a laugh.

''We've lost our sixth soldier for support M...whatever you're gonna do...you better make it quick.'' responded Carl as he moved his position in front of the ship.

''Farel...round up the other soldier...get them with you and Carl as well ok...''

''Ok.''

At the ship as M detracted his spear down, ''M...what do you need?''

''Grab all the supplies and ammunition that you can...we're getting out of here! We wont be able to survive much longer.''

Lee did as such and grabbed all that he could...''Should I bring some for everyone else to carry?''

''Just Carl and Farel...the girls are our ticket out of here.

''How...'' as Lee continued to pick up more ammunition.

With a couple of backpacks on M's back, he knelt down and unzipped his backpack that he had prepared before leaving...

''Are you shitting me? That thing is far too heavy to...''

M lifted up the chain gun with his left arm and put the strap over his head onto his right shoulder. Securing a strap around his left tricep and bicep, M carried the gun with a massive amount of bullets dragging behind as he stepped outside the ship.

''It's fine....don't worry about me. Just get those packs to Carl...and instruct the men to run towards that building over there.'' M pointing to an abandoned housing complex across the street from their position.

''Ivy, Andy...come in...''

''What...''

''Use all of your powers to clear out the right side of all the Lycans...while I take out the left...everyone else...concentrate all your fire into the center and make a break for the abandoned housing complex over there.''

''How are you going too...''

The chain gun was already starting to turn...

''NOW!''

[Akieen Cloud]

Ivy sighed as Farel cam eup beside her.
"Do me a favor Farel."
"What would taht be Ivy?"
"Hit me."
"WHAT!"
"Hit me!"
She looked at him and smiled as he slapped her. Her eyes turned all yellow, only the pupil could be seen.
"Stand back boys, let us handle this."
She swiped her hand through the air and laughed as close to two rows of the Lycans exploded.
"Andy, you have a group on your right."
She heard th escream come from her side and knew Andy had taken care of them, she looked at a building and concetrated and smiled as it toppled from the top landing on a group of Lycans.
"We should finish this quickly...the sun is getting high in and there will be dark places that the Vampires will be able to use..."
Andy nodded.
"I agree!"
Ivy threw her weight behind her power and made at least 30 explode. She fell to her knee, her energy growing on low. Andy's voice filtered through the ear piece.
"Get out of here, you'll slow mw down if you stay."
"And you will die if I go. I will not have a members death on my shoulders!"
She exploded another group as M and the others ran past.
"Let's go!"
Ivy grabbed Andy's wrist and dagged her behind the guys as they ran, both of them killing Lycans that were trying to follow. Andy pulled her wrist from Ivy's grasp.
"I can run on my own thank you, you do not need to hold my hand like a little girl."
"I understand."
Ivy exploded a Lycan as it flew at Andy's head.
"And I suppose you should not thank me for that either?"
She chukled as Andy's cheeks turned a light pink.

[Kairi]

''Keep going...don't stop!'' yelled M through the earpiece as Carl, Farel and the other soldiers ran ahead...blasting through the Lycans at the center. Ivy and Andy were doing beautifully on their end...the left side was being whipped out...not being able to ambush the others going forward.

You could hear the sounds of hundreds of bullet casings falling to the ground as M matched forward...pushing the right side of the Lycan force back. The chain gun was heating up only slightly as M continued his onslaught against the Lycans. One after another they fell...just as they had appeared one after thee other went they first arrived.

''Didn't expect this to happen now did ya...that's the last time you'll underestimate us again.''

With Andy and Ivy taking out the left, and M on the right...Carl and Farel led the charge with the other soldiers easily...leaving them with a gap to run.

M was halfway done clearing out the Lycans on his front when he realized he was using up more ammo than he wanted too. He would have to rely on the chain gun again during this mission for sure...

''Come on guys...get out of there...''

Turning towards Ivy and Andy...he saw Ivy take out 30 Lycans at once....quite impressive...till he saw her fall to the ground in exhaustion.

''Ivy!''

[COLOR=DarkRed][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Andy growled harmlessly as Ivy grabbed her wrist and dragged her back to the group. She was quite impressed at Ivy?s abilities ? although she lacked in control of them as she needed Farel to slap her to awaken them. Nevertheless, they were impressive.

A Lycan sprung at Ivy as they ran, her back turned. A flame appeared in Andy?s eyes and the Lycan instantly burst into flames.
? Begone you ungodly creature!? Andy yelled as many others behind it also burst into flame at her anger. For a small moment, she had lost control. But when she realised it, Andy calmed herself and regained her composure.

The abandoned housing complex neared as the members of Team Angel fought for every inch they gained. Soon, they were inside and safe, for now. The Lycans were regrouping outside, ready to launch another attack. Team Angel stopped in the shadows and tried to catch their breath. They had stopped in an extremely large room that resembled some sort of storage room for the complex. As Andy tried to regulate her breathing, she looked around for anything helpful. There were steel drums scattered all around the complex. She walked over to one of them and opened the lid. Fumes escaped into the air as Andy sniffed at them, trying to figure out what was inside.

? What is it Andy?? M asked curiously, looking at her.
? Petrol?lots and lots of petrol,? she said, turning to the group smiling. ? I have an idea.?

Now regrouped, the Lycans started to enter the room they had seen the humans flee to. It was dark and smelt strange to their noses. They looked around cautiously, looking for any signs of the humans or a trap. Huddling together, they moved into the centre of the room, looking about in various directions. Some of the Lycans on the outside noticed a small wind ruffled their fur for a moment, but they thought nothing of it.

? NOW!? Lee shouted.

Carl and M began to fire. Andy summoned her powers as well as Ivy. Lee used his telekinetic powers to pick up many of the steel drums and Farel moved out of the shadows, firing.

But they weren?t aiming at the Lycans. All of the members of Team Angel were aiming at the ring of petrol Farel had secretly made around the group of Lycans once they had entered the building and stopped in the centre perfectly.

All in an instant, the ring burst into flame at the combination of ammunition and powers. The flames reached up and surrounded the Lycans who scrambled over each other to flee from the searing heat.

Lee used his powers to throw drums, one after another, into the burning heap of Lycans. Ivy spurred on the fire using her explosive powers and Andy, Carl, M and Farel made sure that not one escaped.

After the death screams of the Lycans died down, Andy held out her hand and the fire dissipated into a small black ball of flame that bobbed slowly in her hand.
? Another to add?? she said softly as she whisked away the flame swiftly with a quick hand movement. She looked to the others.

? There?s still many more out there, but I think we might have a fighting chance to single out a few of these creatures to gather information,? M said, looking at the group very seriously. Andy joined them and flashed M one of her rare warm smiles.

Lee ran into the wolf ranks, with M shouting after him to stop. But he had a plan. He jumped into the middle, and erected a small personal field around himself. The wolves bounced off it as they tried to get him. He opened the field slightly, and one of the wolves came into the field. He closed it behind the wolf, and shot it in both legs with his handguns. It fell to the floor, screeching in pain. He wrapped it up in telekinetic bonds, and dropped his shield, running back to the group as fast as he could. He got there, and knocked the wolf out with a single blow to the back of the head.

"You wanted one of these bastards to question?" he kicked the wolf, "You got one."

"Nice work, Lee, but don't go off like that again, you hear me?" said M.

"I hear you."

(OOC: We got us a Lycan. Sorry the post is so short, I just didn't know what you wanted to do with the wolf)

[SIZE=1][COLOR=DarkSlateGray]He noticed Andy's smile as they went back into battle...the first time he saw her smile. But it was only for an instant till she turned around back towards the Lycans which were pushing aside all the dead corpses from Andy's plan.

''"You wanted one of these bastards to question?....You got one? said Lee through his earpiece.

"Nice work, Lee, but don't go off like that again, you hear me?" said M.

"I hear you."

''Alright...get that thing in here quick...I'll get the information that we need.''

Running through the crowd, Lee had kept his barrier up while dragging the Lycan by its legs. M led both of them to a back room of the complex where M showed Lee where to drop him.

''Lee...get back out there and help them, I will join you shortly.''

''No...I want to help as well man. This guys gonna talk one way or thee other.'' Due to the Lycans injuries to his legs, the silver spread through his body just enough to transform him back to his human form.

''I'll never talk you pathetic humans.'' the Lycan roared.

''Please Lee.'' with M placing his hand on his shoulder. ''Help the others; there are not many left out there...I'm sure the rest of you will be able to take down the remaining Lycan force easily. Trust me...you don't want to be here right now.''

Lee looked puzzeled, looking into M's eyes...he could feel that M ment the best. ''Alright...no problem.'' and Lee was gone...closing the door behind him.

''You're wasting your time human, we Lycans will never submit; to the vampires, nor too you. Go one with your torture...no amount of pain will be good enough too..''

M's voice was deep, and dark...stretching out his left arm...he placed his hand on the Lycan's forehead ''Oh, believe me...I will make you beg for Hell before I am done...''

Suddenly the rest of the team could here a terrible howl coming from the back room, and a feeling came upon them; something words could not describe. But it was suttle enough not to bother them from their battle.

Farel was concerned and shifted into the shadows and opened the door to the room, finding M about to leave.

''What happened...I thought you...'' but Farel was silenced as he looked beyond M's shoulder...he saw the man coiled up in a ball in the corner of the room, looking in ever direction...a sense of paranoia and fear was upon his face.

M saw the look on Farels face and placed a hand on his shoulder...''Lets go...we need to get back to the others to help. I've gotten the information that we need about the Lycans, and I know where they've taken Taikaru Farel, she'll be fine. Don't worry...Come now...'' M was trying to lead Farel away from the doorway, who was still looking at the Lycan. Apart from his face...what frightened him the most, was that its eyes were pure black. [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

As M tried to lead him away from the room, Farel couldn't help but stare at the body of the Lycan. Blackeyes even when in human form. Was it even possible for something to be like that. But it is also said that the eyes are a window to the soul. These things definitely had no soul if their eyes told the truth.

What scared him more though was M. How could someone have so much power as to get one of those things so scared that theu ended up in a ball. He didn't really trust anyone in the team yet but he definitely respected and feared M after this. Was it even humanly possible to have that much power was could M have been genetically modified just as he was.

Returning to the battle Farel noticed that the others had pretty much cleared out the lycans who were attacking. As it seemed that the rest of the team had things under control. Farel decided to look around the building from his position. It was dark. The only light was coming from the doorway and the still burning petrol, though that had died down a bit.

[I]This can't be good,[/I] was the first thing that came to his mind. It was all to possible that Vampires could be hiding out in the building. And then something swopped at his head just missing him. He opened fire on the creature. When it dropped it seemed a lot larger than a bat or bird.

"Shit," he yelled. "Everyone, lets get this over with quick and get out of here. This is a vampire hideout. We need to get out."

OOC: A bit short sorry, didn't have much time, but at least I've added a bit more action.

[COLOR=DarkRed][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Andy whirled around when Farel cried out that this was a vampire hideout.

" Dear God in heaven..." she whispered a soft prayer.

Suddenly a large group of vampires swooped down over the group. Andy swiftly unholstered her two H&K P8s and starting shooting rapidly. To her left, she could see Ivy on all-fours on the ground, panting heavily.

" IVY!"

Making a clear path over to her with her flame, Andy ran towards her, shooting any Vampire in her way.
" Ungodly filth!" Andy cried as she stood on straight in between the eyes. Blood splattered everywhere, over Andy's face and neck as the creature was only standing a few inches in front of her. Now standing over Ivy, Andy looked around and killed any Vampire that can within six feet of them - with either flame or bullet.

In front of her she could see Farel and Carl back-to-back, letting off round after round of bullets.

" Damn these creatures! DAMN YOU ALL!" Andy screamed. Around her and Ivy burst a wall of flame that no creature could penetrate, normal or paranormal.
" Andy....slow down....you'll use up all of your energy..." Ivy warned, still breathing heavily.
" No...I will not die from these creatures. They are not of God's creation. These are the Devil's work. And as long as I have an ounce of energy left in my body, I will fight, no matter the cost!"

She started running low on bullets. The wall of flame was taking its toll on her and her accuracy. She missed 2 times out of 5. The normal burning sensation in her boyd was starting to cool....which wasn't a good sign.

The wall started to lower as Andy tried her best to keep it up.
" No....I will not die here......."
A clicking sound signalled to her that her clip was empty, in both guns. Holstering them, Andy whipped out her Sais. The vampires had to come in close for Andy to strike them down. Her vision started to go all fuzzy. This wasn't good.

Suddenly M leapt over the now non-existent flame wall and put his back to Andy.
" Don't worry. I'm here to help," he said.
" Good.....I need it...."
M was shocked that what she had just admitted.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Taikaru was just sitting in the cell waiting for something to happen. Soon something did happen for her enjoyment, yet, also it was a depressing enjoyment. ?I see that you still haven?t given any thoughts on what will happen to the rest of your team. They should be finished shortly. We have declared attack upon them once some of them started to wake.?
?You are just a filthy animal that is not able to live on this world.? Taikaru said with anger in her voice.
?Well we?ll just see if that is true. Now.? There was a big explosion that was herd and many cries from the werewolves ?What the hell. I must see what is going on. You I will deal with later.? The head werewolf left and the guard was the only one left.
?Hey you. Guess what I can do.?
?Well you are in shackles. And if you did escape I?m afraid I would have to devour you.?
?Really.? The shackles glowed a dark glow and they broke. ?I need to get out of here I?m afraid I can?t stay any longer.?
?Go and try to get out of the cage. That is reinforced mix of steel and titanium.?

-Later. Sunset.

The large leading wolf came into the room again. ?It seems those troops of yours are harder to deal with than I thought. I guess now it is time to have a little fun. I have stocked troops down here to over run your friends up there. I am the leader of the wolves. I will not fail.? After that the lights dimmed and a red light went on. ?What it is that time already. No I was going to attack them. The damn vampires will soon die.? He flicked on a switch on the side of the wall. ?Attention all wolf personnel. The night is upon us. With much training we have finally met this night. This is the night that the real full moon will be upon us and we can kill the vampires and humans tonight. Turn on the holy light throughout the base and right when the sun goes down get out there.? There was a loud growl right outside the dungeon door. ?Sorry I have to leave you so soon. I need to live the legend and finally give the captured to the ruler.?
?Wait a minute.? The leader left. ?Damn him.?
?Hey you there. You mentioned that this was reinforced mix of steel and titanium right??
?Yeah what about it.?
?Is it true that you could break these with the right amount of power??
?Yeah why??
?Give me your most fearful story.?
?Well one time I decapitated a vampire with my claws.?
?Well this isn?t going anywhere.? Right after that the lights dimmed in the cell.
?Oh crap we forgot to turn on the?? The guard was cut off by the kill of a vampire. Taikaru was feeling scared. Something she hasn?t felt since the time she went into the coma.
?Child you are the one we have felt here. I want what you have. I will give you to the master and you will relieve your powers.?
?What? There is no way some petty little king like vampire is going to get what I had to work so hard for. I will be in the realm of hell before that happens.?
?Believe me there has been more in the ages. I just so happened to absorb a pyro?s power in the process. I have no use for the pyro in your team.? Taikaru was breathing heavily and she found that she was close to death. The vampire lounged at her and she went in a blur. There was a dark fuzzy looking creature and she blanked. She woke up to find Farel over her.

OOC: It is shorter than my others but it will do. Just hope you can make something up to fit in between the time I blanked out to the time you get me.

Lee fired both ways, into the wolf ranks and into the vampire ranks. They were both advancing fast on either side, and were coming up to surround him. He fired madly, felling both werewolves and vampires. Blood stained the ground, but the two sides kept getting closer and closer.

"Here we go," said Lee as his handguns ran out of ammo, and he drew his sword. The two forces clashed, and he just managed to jump over them, landing on top of the battle. He slashed downwards, cleaving a vampire's head in two, and stabbing a wolf through the eye.

"Could someone give me a hand here?" he shouted. Carl fired a few bursts into the back of the vampire force, but then had to concentrate on the vampires attacking him. Lee ran over the tops of some vampire's heads, slashing all the time, killing them on his way. He rejoined Carl and Farel, as well as Andy, who seemed to be ailing. M was dishing out punishment with his chain gun, and Ivy was shooting madly with her shotgun. Lee reloaded his handguns as he ran, and sheathed his sword. He fired, providing Andy with covering fire while she recovered. Vampires swooped down on them, and Lee fired into them. Blood splattered across the ground, and the bodies of vampires thudded onto the concrete as well.

A vampire swooped, and clawed Lee across the chest. Blood spilled out at an amazing rate, and Lee fell to the floor, unconscious. As he blacked out, he could hear M shouting:

"Lee! No!"

[Meggido]

It was getting to hard to handle attacks from both sides. Vampires and warewolves on both sides. Lee had gone down injured and Andy was close to exhaustion. Things were not looking good for the team.

"Andy, could you try and clear a path for us," Farel asked. "I know it will be hard but try, Please.'

"I'll try," Andy responded the exhaustion obvious in the way she spoke.

Using what strength she had Andy cleared a gap through the ranks off Warewolves, only to pass out.

"Shit," Farel swore. He picked up Andy off the ground. "Carl grab Lee and lets make a break for it."

Carl quickly obeyed the command and the group made a break through the wolf ranks. Outside night was coming on. It was definitely not looking good for the team. First the plane had been attacked by the vampires and they had crashed, then they were attacked by the warewolves and now night was coming on.

"Our only option is back to the wreck," M said. "We can get spare ammo and first aid for Lee. Apart from that we can only wait for HQ to send another jet to pick us up."

They made it back to the crash with minimal trouble from both vampires and warewolves. Farel placed Andy in one of the remaining seats and quickly found the spare ammunition. He began loading his weapon. Ivy and Carl began tending Lee's wound. M walked over to Andy, checked her to see how she was and then approached Farel.

"You have to tell me where the wolves are keeping Taikaru." He said.

"Why? What are you going to do?" M asked.

"I'm going to bring her back," was Farel's only response.

"But you can't go alone. Isn't that what you're afraid of?"

"I know but someone has to do it and my stealth ability makes me the best person for the job. I wish there was some other way." Farel wasn't to sure of himself.

M thought it over for a moment and then conceded that it was the only way. He told Farel the location.

"Find a way to create a kind of shelter so you are not open to attack. If I'm not back by morning then presume I'm dead and get out of here." Farel said before slipping into the shadows.

---Two hours later---

Farel was making his way through the warewolf hideout. The sense of being alone had got to him long ago but it was made worse by the fact that he hadn't seen a warewolf since entering the base. He was nearing the cells and some of his worry was lifted from his shoulders when he began to hear voices. For all he knew he could have been going insane, but he could just make out Taikaru's voice.

As he reached the first cell he could make out what was being said.

?Child you are the one we have felt here. I want what you have. I will give you to the master and you will relieve your powers.? Seemed to come from another unknown voice.

?What? There is no way some petty little king like vampire is going to get what I had to work so hard for. I will be in the realm of hell before that happens.? Farel was obvious that it was Taikaru who said these words.

He turned the corner to see either a vampire or warewolf standing in front of Taikaru. It didn't matter which it was, the bullets would work on either. He moved around to the side so he could get a clear shot and not hit Taikaru.

?Believe me there has been more in the ages. I just so happened to absorb a pyro?s power in the process. I have no use for the pyro in your team.? The creature said.

It then lunged at Taikaru, but Farel was to fast for it. Before it had even reached his teammate he had blown it a new mouth in the side of it's head. Taikaru had passed out in the process though and that could be a problem. He looked at the shackles that held her in place and found that he could pick the locks easily using his daggers. There was no way that he could carry her out though as his stealth wouldn't work while she was over his shoulder. He would just have to wait for her to recover.

---about half an hour later---

Taikaru let out a grown from where she was lying on the ground. It seemed she was coming to. Farel got up from his position near the door of the cell and walked over to her. He was standing over her looking down when she finally woke.

"Good you're awake," He said. And before she could reply, "We have to get out of here quick I don't know when the wolves will return or if the vampires will arrive."

[Blayze]

Lee spluttered back into consciousness. They were in the wreckage of the jet they had flown in in. He was lying on a seat with his shirt off, and a bandage around his chest. He didn't feel too bad, considering. He was hooked up to a drip which was intravenously feeding him new blood.

"What happened out there?" he asked Ivy, who was sitting near him.

"You got sliced open by a vampire. We managed to get you back here, but Andy passed out with the strain of getting you here."

Lee looked over to where Andy was lying. She was still unconscious.

"Where's Farel?"

"He's out looking for Taikaru. He's been gone a while, so I don't know when he'll be back."

Lee lay back, thinking about everything that had gone wrong with this mission. Why had Red sent them into a vampire-werewolf battle zone? He knew how dangerous they were alone, let alone when they were fighting each other.

M walked over to them.

"Lee, I'm sorry that I have to ask this of you when you are so weak, but can you put up a telekinetic barrier around the jet. We need protection from the wolves and vampires. So far we've only had a few of them come to find us, and we took care of them easily, but chances are more will come to find us eventually. We need protection."

"Sure thing, M," replied Lee, getting up slowly. He slung his blood-stained clothes back on, and went outside the jet. He held his hands up, and formed a shield around the jet. It was a big shield.

"I don't know how long I can hold it up for, M," he said, his temples throbbing under the strain, "I've never made a shield this big before."

"You can do it, Lee, I'm sure of it," said M reassuringly. Lee concentrated, but the shield began to falter, then it failed completely, and Lee fell to the ground.

"I don't have enough power, M. But there is one way I could get it."

"What?"

"I could remove the psychic dampener. It should increase my power by a factor of ten. It will definitely be enough."

"I'm only worried about you, Lee. Are you willing to have it removed?"

"I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise, M," he said, smiling weakly, "It should also enable me to heal myself slightly quicker. It can only be a good thing."

"But you might lose your mind."

"It's a risk I'm willing to take, if you are willing to take the chip out."

"I am."

"Okay. It should be fairly easy. The chip is behind my left ear." M moved over to Lee, and held his left ear back. He saw a tiny chip.

"I see it," he said.

"Good," said Lee, "Now pull it out, but make sure it is straight when you pull it out. Otherwise I could end up brain-dead."

M pulled out the chip as far as it would come. The spikes on the underside of it were at least an inch long.

"These really went an inch into your brain? That must have hurt."

"Ok, now destroy the chip. As long as it is in one piece, it still has some control over my brain activity." M dropped the chip and stepped on it, crushing it with the heel of his boot.

Lee felt a new part of his brain spring into life. Sparks rushed around his brain, and he felt more powerful than ever.

"Oh yes," he said, feeling the power of his brain, and he threw a strong shield around the jet. It would last for a couple of days unless he dropped it.

"Now all we need to do is get a new jet," he said, laughing as his chest wound closed quickly.

[Rei_Man]

Carl stood outside in the darkness, looking for any heat sources through the infra-red scope on his rifle. There had only been a few small attacks on the jet since they had returned, which the team had dealt with easily, but it was always best to have some warning. As he was checking the area to his right, something seemed to move for a second in the dim light, then stopped. Carl cautiously fired off one bullet, and heard it fall to the floor a metre or two away from him.
[I]A telekinetic field? But I thought..?[/I]

He turned as Lee walked up behind him, his chest wound fully healed. "Feeling any better?"

"Much better, thanks," he laughed as he stopped next to him. He looked down as Carl switched off the chambers on his rifle. "Hey, sorry if-"

"No problem, I need a break anyway. Besides, it's 'for the good of the team', right?"

"Right." The two of them walked back into the jet, where Andy and the two surviving back-up soldiers were recovering. "Remind me to shoot the commander when we get back."

Carl laughed as he sat down. "Not if I beat you to it." He drew his sword and placed it on his lap, wiping the blood from the blade. "I'd say he deserves what he gets for sending us in unprepared."

Ivy cut in from across the room. "We all feel the same, but don't go doing anything stupid, OK?"

"It's just a joke." He slided the sword into the rack overhead, and leaned back into the seat. "Besides, I've shot enough superior officers in my lifetime as it is."

Carl glanced over at one of the two surviving soldiers, who was happily snoring away. He didn't understand how anyone could sleep here. Even inside the wrecked jet, the dying screams of the vampires and werewolves fighting in the streets could easily be heard.

Lee turned, adressing both Carl and Ivy. "Do you think there are any civilians still alive out there?"

Both of them shrugged, and Ivy stared out into the darkness. Carl tilted his head forward, and closed his eyes. "With all that fighting going on I..." He sighed. "... I guess it's impossible to tell."

[Blayze]

Lee watched idly as wolves and vampires dashed their heads against the field trying to get in. He looked at his watch. Somehow, even after all this, it still worked. It was almost morning. Very soon, they would have to call for backup and leave Farel and Taikaru behind.

He felt a tickling on the back of his hand, and looked down at it. There was a tiny spider crawling across it. He froze, and began to shake. He looked down at the floor, and there were dozens of spiders crawling around. He gasped, and crawled up on his seat as far as he could go. He began shaking violently, and shouted to M:

"M! Th-there are spiders all over the f-floor!"

"So what?" asked M.

"They're my g-greatest f-fear. I-I can't stand them!"

"You could have said something earlier, Lee, and we could have done something about it." M walked over and looked around Lee's seat.

"Lee, there's nothing on the floor. There are no spiders anywhere near here."

Lee looked down and saw the spiders. Then he blinked and rubbed his eyes, and the spiders were gone.

"Weird," he said, "Must have been some kind of hallucination or something."

He sat back, and saw the werewolves charging at the field. There were dozens of them now, all killing themselves trying to get in. It almost made him laugh.

"So, you're afraid of spiders, are you?" said Ivy.

"Yeah, just a little," replied Lee, "They used to kind of haunt me in my dreams when I was in a coma, and I think it may have been a spider-demon that killed my parents."

"Hmm," Ivy said, getting out her little book and opening it, "I killed a spider-demon a few months ago. I seem to remeber it exploding, because I got kinda angry at it."

"It might have been the same one, then," said Lee absent-mindedly. He was falling asleep, the excitement of the mission was now catching up with him. Suddenly, he saw a face in his head, a face in the darkness, wreathed in fire. It's eyes glowed red with hatred.

"You will not escape, Lee," said the thing he was looking at, "I will come for you eventually."

He awoke with a start, and felt his shield weakening. The werewolves were beginning to get through. How could this have happened? Why was his shield going down? Did it have something to do with that face he had just seen?

He drew a pistol, and shouted to the others:

"Guys! I think my shield's gone down. Get ready for some fighting!"

The wolves broke through, and spilled through the gap created. Guns blazed, Carl and M shooting their automatic weapons, Ivy shooting her shotgun, desperately trying to protect Andy, and Lee firing his pistols into the wolves. He tried to wake the sleeping soldier, but was too late. A wolf ripped him apart. Lee shot this wolf through the back of the skull, splattering his brains all over the body of the soldier. The other remaining soldier fired his machine-gun into the wolves, furious with them for killing the rest of his squad.

When would Farel get here? Lee didn't want to leave him behind, but it was looking as though they might have to...

[SIZE=1][COLOR=DarkSlateGray]''LEE!'' yelled out M...grabbing Lee's shoulder. ''We need that sheild back up!''

''I don't know if I can man...''

''Fine...'' M threw his shotgun to the ground...''take my hand.''

''What...'' replied Lee, still shooting at the incoming Lycans.

''Take my hand!...and get that sheild back up, we've done enough for one day. Everyone's tired Lee, you gotta do it.''

Taking M's right hand...Lee closed his eyes and tried to focus another barrier around the ship. For a brief amount of time, a barrier materialized, but just as quickly fell.

''I can M...my mind can't take it.''

''No...Lee watch out.'' as Lee began to open his eyes, a Lycan jumped at Lee. M pulled Lee in back on him and lifted up his left arm to block the attack. The Lycans claws slashed against M's artificial arm, ripping through most of the wiring and armor. M cried out in pain, the emotion surging through his body, transmitting into Lee as well; a surge of energy passed through him as he outstretched his arm to try again.

Within moments, the barrier was up again at full power, pushing every Lycan in the area away from the ship. When Lee calmed himself, he could tell that something had left him...something was missing. Turning around, M was already gone, heading for the ship, holding his arm.

''M...are you?''

''Get everyone into the ship Lee...'' his voice sounded tired, his back still turned to Lee...M drifted to the left and right as he walked towards the ship.''

''Alright M...'' Lee was concerned, whatever M did to him...Lee could feel his sanity coming back to him. Even with the chip out, yes his powers had increased tremendously, but he could control it...to his surprise.

As everyone began to walk towards the ship, Lycans were all around the barrier, trying to force themselves in. Carl still had his weapons drawn for battle till a fleet of vampires descended upon the Lycan forces. The battle was bloody, everyone looked out in shock. Such violence and hatred, this truly was a war zone.

The Lycans ran away as the Vampires pursued them into the shadows as nightime began to fall upon them all.

M was already in the ship, heading towards the pilots chamber...''Get some rest everyone, you all were wonderful today. I thank you all...for everything.'' speaking into his earpiece as he shut the door to the pilot chamber...locking it behind him.

''........shit....'' his arm was in bad shape. Setting down all of his weapons, M took some tools out of his backpack and he went to work as he opened a transmission to headquarters.

[B]***OPEN TRANSMISSION: HEAVEN***[/B]

***M: Commander Red?

***Red: Yes M, go ahead?

***M: We've taken major losses sir, all but one of our support team has survived. We all are pretty tired, and Taikaru has been kidnapped by the Lycans; Farel is on route to rescue her. We are requesting immidiate evac...I repeat...we are in need of an emergency evac.

***Red: No can do M.

***M: What!

***Red: You haven't completed your mission soldier. You must still find the Presidents daughter, and to destroy the leaders of the Lycans and Vampires. Once that happens, all of those blasted creatures will die...and then you may come home. Remember, keep an eye out for civilians as well M.

***M: Damn you Red..... M's voice was failing...he was extremely tired.

***Red: I warned you M...you and your team asked for this assignment, and we gave it too you. Complete your mission, and then you will be able to come home.

[B]***TRANMISSION ENDED***[/B]

M had repared most of his arm, spraying a mechanical skin-growth substance onto his artificial arm, creating a new layer of skin on top. His head began to hurt as he sat there in the pilots seat...

''I shouldn't have done that....'' M placed his head in his hands as he tried to concentrate and calm himself. He had absorbed Lee's emotion of insanity, the confusion, the visions. M knew that the feeling would pass, like it always did...but his head now felt like it was splitting in two. Some moments he felt himself shaking, quickly shaking his head from time to time.

[I]Only a little bit longer....[/I] he was rocking back and forth in his chair. Only a little longer till the feeling subsided. Images crept into his mind, flashes of the battle, all the blood, Andy's smile, Farel's face as he looked at that Lycans eyes, his friends fighting with all that they had. Ivy falling to the ground, her saving him, everything seemed to be passing through him so quickly.

Then in an instant...the visions were gone. M felt back to normal again, his strength coming back to him. Taking out a bottle of water from his pack...he unlocked the door, he didn't want anyone to worry about him. Locking the door would only worry them more...

''Everyone'' as he spoke into his communicator, ''get some rest, with Lee's shield up for a while, we might as well make the best of it. We'll let tonight pass, and let those monsters fight it out. Do not worry about us leaving Farel nor Taikaru behind...because no one is coming for us. Because we've chosen this mission, Commander Red has ordered us to carry out our mission. I'm sure some of you will be upset at hearing this...with all my heart, I am sorry my friends. But let us make the best of this...so get some sleep, get something to eat and drink, and relax...we're gonna wait here till dawn. Hopefully by then...the creatures will be gone. And we will continue our search tomorrow morning ok. Don't forget to mend your wounds as well...we done want those things smelling our blood.''

M took the communicator out of his ear...leaned back in the chair...and sipped at the cool water. [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

Ivy placed a cool rag o andy's forehead and smiled.
"We were supoed to do this and get...um, M...what dies the president's daughter look like?"
"Why?"
"Because...I think we have a problem. She is wlaking with a Vampire, and they look to be very friendly."
M was beside her lookng out the window quickly.
"This isn't good."
IVy shook her head.
"No, it is not."
