She went to her room and picke dup her head set and music player and headed to the training room. She passed Andy's room and stopped for a moment, the hall there was unnormally warm, but it wasn't dangerous warm. she smiled knowingly. she put her headphones on and hit play, she nodded to the music as Linkin Park filled her ears. she went to the training room and walked in, she looked up and nodded to the two there. "You must be new. I am Ivy. You are?" she shed her jacket and hat and extended her ahdn and bowed her head slightly. "I'm Julius." "Pleasure, welcome to the team. I'm a...well, I make stuff blow up. That's about as simple as I can put it my friend." He nodded and she went to the back and began to work her legs concentrateing heard on what she was doing when she began to think of Lee. [I]I wonder if her really meant that?[/I] She switched and began on her arms. [I]I feel like he did...I know hw did.[/I] She smiled and continued to work out thining of Lee. [I]I wonder if anything has come up at the precinct yet? I wonder when Lee will be able to really test his abilities, Will everything cool down? Or will we have to fight again soon?[/I] She shook her head and paused for a moment. [I]Red will et us know when something happens...I hope it's nothing as bad as it has been, we've almost lost so many of us...I don't know if I can bare that again.[/I] She resumed her work out. Eric picked up a wooden sword, and gestured with it. "C'mon. Let's go." He twirled it in his right hand for a while, loosening up his joints. Julius picked up the other wooden sword, and took a few steps away from Eric, analyzing how he walked, talked, moved, holded the sword, and his technique. He had learned to use a sword proficiently during his training, and assumed Eric had gone through the same regiment he had. "Alright." Julius got into the ready position, as did Eric. They both circled each other, and Eric obviously had the upper hand with his pre-cognition ability. Hypercognition would do nothing against it. Eric swung at Julius' neck, but he parried and stepped in to catch him off guard. Eric obviously saw the move coming, and hopped a few steps backwards, but Julius spared no time. He quickly saw Eric tended towards an offensive stance, and he shifted his weight to gain a better foot position. Eric took a few steps to the right, then swung downwards at Julius' head. Rather than parry the attack, he side stepped it, and threw a stab at Eric's solar-plexus. Although he saw it coming, he couldn't dodge such a precise attack. However, he did manage to move enough so that the sword landed on his chest rather than the solar-plexus. "Nice." Eric quickly commented, as he recovered from the attack. Julius wasted no time, jumping into the fray once more. They exchanged many quick parries and thrusts, all of which were skillfully swatted away or dodged. Both were panting afterwards. "Good stuff. I guess our powers are like... maybe opposites or somethin' " Eric said thoughtfully. "I don't think so. You can predict the future, while I can analyze things much faster than anyone else. Five times faster, I think the number was. Wanna keep going?" The question hung in the air, as Eric predicted the future, already knowing how it would end up. He searched all over the base, and then returned to the training room to see if Eric or Julius had seen her, and found Ivy working out. He walked over to her. "Hey, Ivy," he said. "Hey," she replied, stopping her workout and turning to face him. "Listen, Ivy, are we ok? I'm sorry I kinda left you with that kiss. That was wrong of me. I should have stayed with you afterwards." "We are ok, Lee, but I was wondering if you meant what you said. About feeling the same way as I do." "I did mean it, Ivy. I do have strong feelings for you. I just wasn't sure whether you actually had feelings for me or not." "Well I do, Lee. I think I've had these feelings since I first met you, even though I thought you were an arrogant prick at first." "Well, that was a fair assumption, taking into account the way I behaved when we first met. We've been through a lot together since then, haven't we?" "Yeah. I remember feeling my heart break when you got slashed by that vampire. I thought you were going to die. And again when you got blinded." A sharp pain shot through Lee's eyes as she mentioned his blindness. He scratched his blindfold, as his eyes were beginning to itch slightly. She took his hand, and stopped him from scratching. "Don't scratch them. It'll irritate them." She held onto his hand, and leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips. He kissed back, and they were left standing in a warm, loving embrace... "Let us go somewhere with less, spectators?" Lee smiled and nodded. "Good idea, My room or yours?" "How about the balcony on the second landing, it is not that cold tonight and you could possibly get to see the stars." "I agree." sShe squeezed his hand and led him out, he followed her smileing. She led the way all the way to the balcony and outside, she ran to the edge and looked over the railing laughing. "You can see everything from here." She turned and looked at Lee, he hair blowing in her face from the wind, her jacket and hat left in the training room. She pulled him to her and showed him what she saw. "Wow." 'Is it not wonderful Lee?" "Yeah, ya know, why do you always talk so proper? I'm gonna have to teach you some slang if your going to be around me." Ivy smiled and looked up at him, she wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him to her nuzzeling his neck kissing it lightly. "What? You think I don't know any slang dear Lee?" "Well obviously I was worng." "I do know it, I was just always taught that a lady does not use that language. My father taught me that before New Berlin." Lee hugged her close and kissed her gently, she smiled and pulled him down kissing him deeply. Her heart soaring at the feeling. [I]I wonder if this waht Adny feels for M? Redemption Posted March 7, 2005 Share Posted March 7, 2005 [COLOR=DarkRed][FONT=Trebuchet MS][b]OOC: Since things aren't moving along because Kairi hasn't replied lately, I think I'll try and get something going.[/b] Andy and M sat at one of the tables in the dining hall in silence. They hardly talked to each other as they ate. It was strange. They had made so much noise last night during their love-making, and now neither of them wanted to look each other in the eyes. After breakfast, both of them stod silently and both walked back to the common room. There was no verbal agreement to do this, but it seemed like they had some sort of mental connection after their night together. Walking down the hall, they passed the training room. Andy looked inside. There were two men standing opposite one another, each with a wooden sword in their hands. One was Eric, but the other Andy couldn't recognise. He was a strapping young man. Andy smiled to herself as she thought of M fondly. Walking into the training room, Andy walked in between the two men. M continued on to the common room alone. " Excuse me Eric. Can I just interrupt for a second?" Andy asked. " Sure. Good time for a breather anyway," Eric replied, leaning on his wooden sword lightly. Andy turned to the new guy. " My name's Andy," she said, putting out her hand in a friendly gesture. The unknown man took it. " Julius." " Nice to meet you Julius. So, what are you here for?" " What do you mean?" Julius replied, overanalysing what she was saying. " Sorry. I mean what powers do you have?" " Oh. I analysise things five times faster than a normal human." " Impressive." " Thanks. What are yours?" " Pyrokinetic." As Andy said that, a ball of flame appeared in her left hand, the one that wasn't able to summon fire. When Andy realised this, she swore loudly. " What's the matter?" Eric asked, jumping up in shock at the loud swear. " N...Nothing....just....nothing...." Andy said, staring at her left hand in amazement. Something has happened to her - something to do with her tattoo. Julius and Eric looked at Andy with strange looks as she exited the training room quickly. " What was all that about?" Julius asked. Meanwhile, Andy was running down the corridor towards the common room. Bursting through the doors, she quickly looked around for M. She heard murmurs from a room nearby. Walking towards them, she realised that they were M's and Commander Red's voices. Something was up. Creeping closer, Andy began to make out what the two were saying. " ...The situation is worse than we thought M..." '' How so?" " The virus that you were sent to investigate in South China. There has been another outbreak." " Where?" " Rome." " Rome?!? How did it get there?" " We don't know. But we've cordined off the infected area. But we need Team Heaven to investigate." " This better not be like the last two missions Red." Andy heard a definite growl in M's voice. A very threatening growl. " ..........Of course not." " Good. When do you want us deployed?" " First you have to go to Hong Kong for two days. Find out as much as you can about that thing we were discussing. Then move to Rome asap. We can't have any more outbreaks like this." " I agree Red." Hearing that they had finished their discussion, Andy moved quickly from the corridor that led to M's room, where the two had had their metting, and into the common room. She busily found something to do. M and Red walked out of the corridor. Red continued on to go out of the common room, where M walked into the common room, finding Andy. A wry smile spread across his lips. Andy made herself not notice M was there. Silently, M walked over to Andy and slipped his arms around her waist. " Well hello again," he said softly. A red tinge appeared on Andy's cheeks. " Hey..." " We have another mission. Care to get ready?" Andy nodded. She looked M in the eyes but tore them away, trying not to let him know that she had eavesdropped on his and Commander Red's conversation. " Right. I'll get the others. We move out in an hour. Can you pack some stuff for me please?" " Sure." " Thank you Andy." He kissed her deeply on the lips before giving her a hug and then leaving to gather the others. Andy watched M's retreating back sadly. What was he hiding from her? What was that 'thing' he and Commander Red were talking about? These were questions that needed to be answered - and quickly. [b]An hour later...[/b] Andy waited out on the tarmac with two bags at her feet - one for M, one for her. The small aeroplane waited silently for the other team members to emerge from the base. Red looked seriously at Eric, 'Eric, you know we needed special permission to allow you on this task force. The way you were when we found you...' 'I know,' Eric interrupted, 'I'm doing fine, really.' 'Eric,' Red sighed, 'We can't risk you going over the edge. After last night...' 'What about last night?' Eric asked, annoyance creeping into his voice, 'Were you watching me?' Red sighed again, preparing his defense, 'Eric... Of all the people here, we can't risk you losing control. As painful as it is to remember, I'm going to ask you to keep it in mind. Remember why you need to keep your wits about you.' Eric turned, picking up his bag and walking to the plane. 'I'll never forget,' he said, 'And I'll die before I lose myself to [I]that[/I] again.' 'I certainly hope so,' Red offered to Eric's retreating back, 'For your own sake, and everyone else's.' His feet crunched on the ground. He took it slowly, as his new "third eye" wasn't used to the bright sunlight of the morning. Andy was stood outside, with two bags at her feet. She was waiting patiently. "Hey, Andy," said Lee. She nodded in reply. "We haven't really had a chance to get to know each other, have we?" "No, I guess we haven't," she said, "Maybe we could get to know each other a little better once this mission is over." "Yeah, that'd be good. I was thinking maybe I came on a little strong when I first met you and Ivy." "You did, kinda. It shocked me a little." "Well, I was just nervous about meeting you. I like to think I've calmed down somewhat now." "Yeah, you have." Lee sensed something was on her mind, and he didn't even need to use his telepathy to work it out. "Andy, I'm kinda feeling that there are some issues between you and M. Can I help with anything? Anything at all?" "No you can't, Lee, so just leave me alone!" shouted Andy. Lee backed off, and saw Ivy come out of the building. He walked over to her, and hugged her. "You okay this morning?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine thank you Lee. Did you enjoy last night?" "Yeah. Those stars were beautiful, and so were you. That's one of the things I missed most when I couldn't see for those few days." "What?" "Seeing your face. I missed your smile at the breakfast table, and your little frown when you're concentrating." "Ok, well it's a little creepy that you know all those things, but it's very sweet of you to say so, Lee." She kissed him on the lips, and he kissed back. "Lee," she said thoughtfully, "I'm glad we didn't rush into anything last night. I think it's best that we are saving it for when it's extra special." "Yeah, me too. She looked at him in comfort to see that she finally was being answered. *I already turned up my from my past no holding this back now or our mission will be in jeapordy.* ?I had?I had.? ?You had what? Please you can tell me. It will help.? ?I had a dream.? Farel was silent showing he was listening. ?My room. I was in my room. And my brother greeted me.? ?A brother. Sounds normal.? ?Well you see I only remember that he is my brother. I don?t know what happened to him after I fell into a coma. I looked up on the computer and found Nomi to be my brother. He isn?t deceased.? ?Don?t you want of find him?? ?I have been thinking that over. He must of ran off when my mother died. If he did that and never came to ask about me then I don?t know if he would want to see me or not. It is very confusing.? ?You must feel worn from this pondering. Why not talk it out with me?? ?Alright the last bit of information I have regarding this is our last name.? Taikaru started to hesitate but then looked into Farel?s eyes. *He?s lost loved ones too. I should tell him mine.* ?My last name is Shinro. I don?t know why I couldn?t remember it.? ?Well Ms. Shinro I would be glad to escort you to your room.? Farel said trying to lighten the mood. Taikaru went along trying to get away from the mystery for awhile. She lifted her hand like some sort of young princess and said ?I will be glad Sir Farel.? They started to walk to the door when M came in through the door. ?Where were you two?? ?Here in the garden.? Farel replied knowing Taikaru had to recuperate. ?Well we have a mission in thirty minutes get your stuff ready.? ?Sorry about the delay.? Taikaru said. Farel and Taikaru walked off to their rooms. ?I will see you on the plane. I got to go and get myself ready now.? ?Alright Farel.? Taikaru said closing the door to her room. On the cold steel wall Taikaru saw the weapons that have served her for a long time. Hanging there were her two pistols that blended in with her clothing. There were also the two blades hanging on the wall. They gleamed as Taikaru turned on the light. She grabbed them from the wall and remembered how that Lycans took her over. She looked down again to see her feet. *That won?t happen again. Never will it happen. But I must tell M about what I have found I never gotten the chance.* She pulled the weapons off and put them on her belt. She then took off from the room. ***Platform 78-C*** Taikaru walked up to the plane to see Farel standing by the ramp. The jets were off right now but Taikaru knew they would be on soon. ?Hey Farel. Whose on right now.? ?M, Ivy, Carl, and a new guy. I think his name is Julius.? ?I?m going aboard. I need to talk to M.? ?Alright M told me to look for the others right here.? ?I will see you on board then.? Taikaru walked up into the small second cockpit. She saw the new guy but passed him and went over to M. M looked up. ?You need something.? ?A conversation between only us.? ?What for?? ?The mission.? M looked back down and un-buckled. They got up and walked down the ramp past Farel and to the corner of the platform. ?If it is about Red then I have it controlled.? ?No it is about the people we saved.? ?What about them.? They were whispering now. ?I have seemed to have made some mysterious observations.? ?What kind of mysterious observations.? ?They grayness of skin and the fact that the people didn?t die when they were struck by one of the vipers. I believe we are dealing with something else.? ?Look we will talk about this when we get to Hong Kong.? Taikaru nodded in agreement. They got back on the plane. Taikaru sat down close to the ramp. She saw eventually Carl come on. Then came Ivy and Lee. Finally came the others. Eric sat down by Julius and Farel finally came up the ramp. ?Alright we are about to take off.? Without asking Farel sat right by Taikaru. As Farel sat she noticed some strange saddened but happy face on him. Taikaru looked down to see that the ship was clean. The other one was wrecked in the village they left. *I wonder if contacting him isn?t such a bad idea. First I would have to figure it all out. Maybe by the end of the mission I could see him. Yes I will have that set for me. No going back.* She herd the engines kick in. ?Quieter than before.? Taikaru said in amazement that jets could be that quiet. ?Yes it let?s us have a pleasing flight.? Farel said. Taikaru almost jumped. She forgot he was there. ?Farel?? Taikaru looked at him. ?Yes.? ?I need to tell you one more thing.? She said starting to whisper as quietly as she could. ?What is that?? Farel asked as he whispered too. ?I need help?with the feeling?love.? Still whispering Farel leaned and said ?I will help.? OOC: Hope you like it. "Andy, is there something wrong?" "N-No, nothing, I'm fine." "Your lokking at your left hand pretty hard there Andy>" "Leave it be Ivy." Ivy nodded and leaned over putting her head on Lee's shoulder. He kissed her head and then put his cheek against the top of her head and smiled. "Lee, we are going to rome after Hong Kong." "How do you know?" "I over heard M talk ing to Eric." "Are you nervous?" "Yes and no." "Why? What's wrong?" "My brother lives in Rome..." "I thought you were an only child." "No, I have one brother, he was disowned by me parents for going to America when he was of age to do so." "Why?" "They were very strict." "I can tell." "I'm afriad that he may be infected...if so, it may be to late." "Don't talk like that." Ivy nodded and hugged his arm tightly. "You will be with me will you not?" "I'll stay with you." "Thank you." "For what?" "For everything." "I should be the one saying that, not you. You've given me more than I ever thought possible." Ivy blushed and leaned her head further getting comfortable for the flight. She sat up as Commander Red boarded for a moment. "Alright, as you've been breifed, Hong Kong to find out whot you can than to rome to fix and finish-" Ivy jumped in. "-If we can." "-If you can, this outbreak of the virus." They all nodded. "If you have not, introduce yourselves to Julius and make friends, we hope for your safe return." He left and Ivy felt the jerk ofthe engines starting. "Here we go..." While his mind was distracted with the important task of helping Taikaru with her emotions. He looked at her. She had a thoughtful look on her face. [I]What the hell,[/I] he thought to himself. "Guys there is something I need to tell you all." He began. Everyone looked at him. Taikaru knew what was coming as she had already heard his story. She put her hand in his to comfort him and it made it easier for him to reveal his pain. "Well as some of you already know I used to work as an agent in the Mars Secret Service." He began, "Now I kinda left it there saying that that was my reason for joining Project: Heaven, but that is not true. I actually left the secret service about for years ago for this person I had met while I was on a holiday to Earth. Know we were in love. We had even set a date to be wed. Now it happened just over a year ago. We were shopping for her wedding dress (and I was watching her in her full beauty) when Mars recieved their first attack from these creatures. My chameleon ability has a habit of acting eradic when I'm in trouble and I just blinked out. I saw her ripped to shreds." There was a slight pause as he held his feelings in. "Guys there is something I need to tell you all." Farel said. Taikaru knew what he was about to reveal and she grabbed Farel?s hand in comfort. *He really is going to say it. But he can trust the rest. I myself will be at a disadvantage in battle if revealed my past. At least his is will be easier to relinquish.* The entire time she thought Farel was letting out his story. Fare sat back down by her and had a sense of relief on his face. ?You finally got it out.? Taikaru whispered. ?Yes I did.? Farel whispered back. After that silence filled the ship. Andy wasn?t talking to M for some reason again. Ivy was helping Lee concentrate. Eric and Julius were the only ones talking but they were working on strategy it sounded like. Taikaru leaned back and was glad she finally had a moment to think to the best of her ability. *Farel does care for me I know it. I also know that Andy cares for M. Ivy and Lee look like they could be up to something. Oh well everything will reveal itself in due time. For instance I would like to know what side of Andy is the real one. Is it the stuck up brat or the caring silent one. M left his past a mystery as well I will mine to everyone but Farel. Now for the sake of thought, let?s review everyone?s abilities. Eric and Carl have none. Ivy makes things blow up. Andy is a pyrokenetic. M is some kind of extreme telekinetic. Lee is a telepath and telekinetic. I have my shadow cleaving. Farel has his chameleon abilities. Now what about this odd character. He looks too curious. His head is wobbling from one side of the ship to the other. Is he analyzing something. Maybe he thinks the ship is too clean.* Taikaru chuckled at this thought. She didn?t know how loud she chuckled but Farel was able to hear it. ?What is so funny.? ?What? Oh nothing.? Taikaru went back to her thoughts. *Well I might as well meet the new guy before it is too late. By the way my name is Julius.? Taikaru gave a nod to acknowledge his name. She went off to the cargo. Yet again they were carrying tons of serum. The smell of cardboard boxes and metals filled the already fowl air. *Maybe I should just tell him. It wouldn?t hurt. Would it? No I stole this chip for my own use.* Taikaru took out a data chip from her pocket. She put it in the little screen that she called Mr. Netashima with. She accessed the government files. Clicking fast through the files she found what she was looking for. Yet disappointed. *I can?t believe it. They still haven?t found him. I?ll have to search on my own. Even if this search takes me to back to mars.* ?Hey what you doing down here.? Taikaru jumped and quickly put away the monitor. ?Oh Farel it is you.? ?Something wrong?? ?No it is just that I can?t find where my brother lives.? ?You mean where Nomi lives.? ?They have only gotten leads on him and I am truly the one that must find him. I may even have to leave the heaven team.? ?Leave Heaven team?? Farel said in shock. ?Keep quiet alright. It would be a vacation with work.? ?Oh you mean a temporary cease in command profile.? ?You?ve worked with the secret service long enough to know their profiles.? ?I see you have too.? ?Well I will go back to my seat now and wait out the rest of this trip.? ?Alright I will see you back.? ?Oh and Farel.? They got back into their seats and there was still an hour until they would get to Hong Kong. *I don?t know why I did that. Is this what M and Andy were doing. Still I can?t change what I did. I must put my mind to other matters.* Taikaru looked at M. *I don?t get why he won?t take my observations serious. Maybe he thinks that grey skin and being invincible to viper bites aren?t anything to be concerned about, or maybe he is thinking about Andy. Either way we have to set our minds on this mission. I will have to think about the people in Hong Kong before I think about Farel. That is the only way to achieve our goal in this mission. Rome is next after two days in Hong Kong. But?I?forget it. It is not what you should be thinking about. There is an hour left and your not getting sleep.* Taikaru drained out her thoughts and closed her eyes. She forgot how tired she really was. -dream ?Taikaru please wake up. You got school today. Get on your uniform soon okay.? Taikaru got up in the bedroom again. She went to the mirror to see something. She found what it was. ?A little girl again eh.? She brushed her hair like the last dream and she got to breakfast faster that time to see what else the dream had in store. *But this doesn?t feel like a dream. It feels real. It feels like I?m really here at home.* ?Hello Taikaru. It?s your tenth birthday today and Father is coming home. He?s going to be coming back from America.? ?What do you mean Nomi?? ?Sis you know Father is in America. He is in New York every New Year?s eve as the American?s call it. He lives in that place New Jersey Taikaru.? Taikaru nodded and went to her breakfast. *If we?re not in America than where are we. We will study Osaka first. We will continue off of there when we get finished with that.? The day went by faster than she thought. It came to a close when they were talking about population. She met with her brother outside the school doors and went home. The dusty road was blown with wind from her right. This kicked up dust into her face. Not much to say...IC: Julius smiled, happy he had become at least brieftly aquainted with everyone. He looked at everyone, hearing soft conversations, seeing kissing, pouting, interaction. Then amid the din of senses, he heard Commander Red say they were going to Rome. "Ah... Rome. That's where my family came from. Several hundred years ago, of course." He said idly. He didn't expect Eric to respond. "Really? So what's your last name?" He inquired. "Aurelius. The last name of a Roman Emperor. A very intelligent man indeed." He spared him the details of his life, what he had done for Rome, and why he had been named Julius. It would seem boring to him. "Yeah, I bet. Probably how you got your name too. Julius Caesar was a powerful man... and it sounds like Marcus Aurelius was a learned one. Good stuff." Julius was surprised he knew about Marcus Aurelius. The city of Hong Kong sprawled out below the plane as it glided gently over to the taxiway in a small airport. M sat silently next to Andy who looked around, observing that most of the team members had affections of their own within the team. Feeling happy for them, Andy turned around to face her own problem, M. She wasn't angry at him, nor was she calm with him. Not decided would be the appropriate feeling Andy felt towards M. Neither of them had talked and the awkward silence between them was growing. She turned to M, trying to find the words to ask him what this was all about. " M..." M turned to Andy, smiling. " Yes Andy?" " Well....." The plane jumped up and down, signalling their arrival at the airport. " Can we talk about it later Andy?" M asked, as he undid his seatbealt and waited for the plane to be taxied into a terminal. " But M....I...." " Please...not now Andy...." She felt tears well up in her eyes but she fought them back and put on a dark face. Walking out of the plane, all carrying their luggage, Team Heaven strode into the airport. Not a single soul was around. They all found this very strange. Commander Red looked around. " Hmm....there was supposed to be a correspondant here waiting for us." " A correspondant?" Lee asked. " Another like yourselves. But nowhere near any of your capabilities." Suddenly a beeping noise was heard. One of the small airport carts came racing down the carpetted alleyway. Team Heaven swivelled around to the source of the noise. Two carts approached them and stopped right in front of them. An Asian man dressed in a suit hoped out of the first cart. He had short straight black hair and slanted eyes - a stereotypical Asian. Andy looked at this man, wondering what kind of abilities he had, even though they weren't at Team Heaven's level. Commander Red approached the man. " Ah. Finally. I was wondering when you would be along." The two men shook hands firmly. " We had a slight problem with transporting Team Heaven. I did not realise there was so many members of this calibur," the Asian man said in perfect English. Commander Red turned to the Team. " This is Aiko Jung. He is a exorcist of sorts. That's why he is based in Hong Kong at this present time." " Yes. Well, the reason why I have been relocated here....well... I think it's best if you get to see it first hand." They all clambered onto the carts and drove off to the luggage zone where normally you would reclaim your luggage back from the flight. Two large cars were parked inside the building. " Why are the cars parked inside?" Ivy asked. " The virus you investigated in South China. It has spread here. And killed most of the population. The only ones spared were the ones who were in air-tight compartments like air-conditioned apartments and buildings. Everyone outside when they caught the virus, died within 48 hours of contracting it," Aiko replied. " The virus is air-borne." Stepping into the cars, Team Heaven was divided and mostly not to their liking. Commander Red, Andy, Ivy, Taikaru and Julius in one and M, Eric, Carl, Farel and Lee in the other. As soon as they all climbed into the car, the doors shut and the drivers drove them out of the building. [b]OOC: There are supposed to be dead bodies all over the streets. Some of my favorite songs are hundreds of years old.' 'So, what was it?' Carl asked. 'Oh, duh,' Eric said, ''Everything I Do,' it's by a guy named Brian Adams.' 'Who's that?' Lee asked. 'Early rock artist.' Eric replied, pulling himself up in the seat, 'Pretty good, but he had a thing for ballads.' 'That sounded pretty good,' Lee said, 'You ever think about doing that for a career?' Eric smiled, 'You know, someone else used to say I should do that, too.' 'Then why don't you?' Eric didn't answer. He just looked out at the bodies on the ground, a look of sadness on his face. There skin was a dull grey but there was no invincibility. Now that Farel has gone with M Taikaru was able to think on other things and possibilities. *If the virus is air borne then the serum must be air borne too. And what is with the people with the grey skin is it some kind of side effect disease. It has to be something. If we can?t figure this out then I think we have already failed the mission.* Taikaru looked up to the higher windows and saw people laying half way over the window. Then she saw something peculiar. It was blood. *Wait a minute. There was blood all over the place without us knowing. If it is just a virus then how did blood get all over the place.* ?Stop the car and get on gas masks or something we need to have a look outside.? Taikaru said to Red who was driving. Red came to a screeching stop. ?Why?? ?The bodies I want to a temporary autopsy.? ?Alright then the gas masks are in the trunk. The seat folds down.? Taikaru looked behind her and there was a spot that folded down. She rummaged through the boxes and found the gas mask. She got out to look at the bodies. Everyone else followed her with their gas masks. *Okay it is for certain now. The ligaments look like they have been chewed off. And with all the destruction around I wouldn?t think a virus would be capable of that. I should have a look at that serum I took with me.* Taikaru took out the vial of the serum. It has changed into a greenish color. ?Amazing it mutates.? ?What mutates?? Ivy said. Julius answered for Taikaru ?It is like the virus H.I.V. It mutates and takes a different form. Therefore no anti-bodies can defend against it.? ?You?re right Julius and it looks like it didn?t only mutate that way.? ?What do you mean Taikaru?? Red asked from behind her. She was about to answer when something down an alley caught her eye. ?Something moved down there.? Taikaru said pointing to the alley way. Everyone looked over to the alley way but there was nothing there. ?I think you may be losing your mind Taikaru.? Andy said. ?Trust me I?m not losing it. I saw something move. It was slow and sluggish but it moved. It looked like a person.? ?Come on Taikaru it couldn?t have been a person. They are all dead look around us.? Ivy said trying to argue. ?Don?t you think it be strange that the serum has mutated and the virus is air borne. Don?t you think it is strange that the grayness of skin could be something and not anything? Finally don?t you think it strange the amount of blood around this place?? ?Well yeah I found that strange but just didn?t think of it.? Ivy said. ?Well maybe some of us know what we are dealing with.? Taikaru looked at Andy. No response was given. Then she looked at red then back at Ivy. They all had the same response. Julius though spoke up. ?Could we be dealing with the deteriated flesh of a carnivorous beast from hell that feasts upon only the meat of its own species and has no idea that it is immortal to anything except fire, holy like weapons, and ripping out the spinal cord?? Taikaru looked at him surprised that he knew the dictionary definition. ?Why yes we are defeating those. Julius would you mind telling the others what we are dealing with in a way most humans could understand and not the technical stuff.? ?Alright.? Julius turned to the others and said it flat out. ?We are dealing with zombies. The mutation of the virus mutated from vampire to zombie.? ?Well how could that be?? Red asked. ?It is simple. This is just like some of the viruses you can?t treat because anti-bodies won?t set up enough protection. In other words the virus will take control of another and turn into something else. I think once we are done here with zombies then we will have something completely different when we get to Rome.? Taikaru said while still examining the body. ?This one has been died for about an hour now.? ?So you?re saying that we are now here to fight the immortal and the undead.? ?Basically. We will have to warn M and the rest.? ?I will do that.? Ivy said. Taikaru trotted off to the car. She got out a couple of viles. ?What are those?? Red asked in curiosity. ?This used to be our serum. Now it is mutated back to the form it first took. It is back to vampire.? ?How do you know that vampire was the first form it took.? ?It is a hypothesis. If the vampires infected the president?s daughter with this and only her then she must have been a guinea pig or something. Yet now that they were out of the car and paid a long due to a conversation they herd a trash can crash. They all turned to see where it had crashed. The people hanging out of the windows were gone. The bodies on the ground still remained. Ivy came back and stared in aw and amazement as their assailants came closer in a sluggish movement. ?BACK TO THE CAR.? Red ordered. They got back in and started it. They took off with a bit of umph to the engine. They ran down zombies corner after corner. ?Do you think this is a safe idea Red?? Andy asked. ?Safer than being outside this vehicle.? ?Andy we need you right now.? Taikaru looked at Andy and purged her way to her eyes. ?They are only able to be defeated by fire, holy like weapons from church, and ripping out there spinal cords. You fit all three at the moment. Please.? Andy looked down then back outside where the zombies were crashing against the car. The car crashed into a bank and the dust flew into the air. It was dark and Andy didn?t even get time to think. ?I think now you need to Andy no choice. We will be your back up.? Taikaru made a sword out of nowhere. *If only Farel were here they would be ripped up to shreds. I hope they aren?t on the same verge as us. We?re out numbered and no ride is going to come.* Taikaru looked at the army coming in and the light being blocked by them. They were all in position. Then Taikaru spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. ?Si mero ahora I will go out fighting.? (Si mero ahora. If I die now.) ?I just hope it won?t be like the vampire one.? ?It won?t zombies have no brains. They are also sluggish and are only carnivorous beasts.? Julius said to lighten the mood. With there masks still on they were ready to fight and Andy made the first move, just like the white?s in chess. Flames shot from her hands. ?You ungodly creatures.? Hundreds of them surrounded the group. Fire was shooting from Andy's hands; Ivy was making them explode; Eric was ducking and dodging, predicting exactly where their next attack was coming from; M was shooting at them with a pair of pistols. They were all fighting the zombies back with relative ease. Blood splattered all over Lee as he fired three shots into the back of a zombie's head. The zombie turned, and Lee hacked it's head off with his sword. More took it's place, and he began to hack away at the zombies, throwing them around with his telekinesis as well. He threw one back onto a long, sharp pole, impaling it. Blood covered to pole, and splattered out of it's chest, but it lifted itself off the pole and came back towards Lee, with a gaping hole in it's chest. He blew it's head off with a well-placed shot. A group of zombies surrounded Ivy, moving towards her, and Lee could tell she was getting weaker from all the explosions she had to create. He saw one swing at her, and knew that she didn't have enough time to react and block the swing. She was going to be knocked out by the zombie, when an arm blocked the swing. A silenced shot coughed through the air, and the zombie fell. Lee looked around, and saw a figure wearing a gas mask, as they all were. It was Julius. Lee thanked him, as did Ivy, and they continued fighting. They had significantly cut down the numbers of the zombies, and were just cleaning up after themselves now. Lee fired a shot into the final zombie's head, and it fell to the ground. The entire team was blood-splattered and a little exhausted, but otherwise they were not harmed at all. "Are you okay?" Lee asked Ivy, his voice muffled through the filter in his gas mask. "I'm fine," came her reply, eually muffled, "No thanks to Mr. Aurelius over here." They both walked over to Julius and thanked him again. "Well Lee," he said, "I knew I couldn't let a guy like you have his girlfriend killed by a group of zombies. You seem like a great guy, and my reactions are a lot faster than everyone else's, so it seemed like the logical thing to do." "Well, I can't thank you enough, Julius." They began walking back to the car, when something creaked and groaned, and something which sounded like bones snapping rang through the air. The team turned around, and saw that one of the zombies was getting to his feet again. The bones in his legs snapped and twisted, and he lifted himself up. His head had a giant hole blasted through it, and so did it's stomach. Blood was still gushing out of the wounds. It moved slowly towards the team, and they all looked at each other. They turned back to the zombie, and all drew their long-range weapons, pointing them at the zombie. They fired into the zombie repeatedly, filling its body with bullets from all different directions. The body fell to the floor again, now only a pile of bones and organs, with blood leaking out from all sides. The team turned again, and saw the streets around them. Every street they could see, for miles, was filled with zombies, teeming and flowing like a tidal wave of flesh. Even though they moved slowly, they could not be stopped by a small group of superpowered humans. "Well, I don't think I have that much ammo," said Lee sarcastically, "What about the rest of you?" A murmur went around. The general conscensus was that they didn't have enough ammo between them to take down the entire population of Hong Kong, so they got into the car and drove away quickly. Zombies blocked their path, whichever way they went. They were trapped. "Hold on tight," said Jung as he reversed the car. He stopped, and aimed the car at the street they needed to go down, a street swollen with zombies. The car was ready to go through the entire army of zombies that blocked their path. Farel, who was now once again with her, comforted her for the ride of bumpy terrain. ?Here we go.? Said jung now stepping on the gas with his foot still on the brake like street racing. The tires squealed and they saw all the dust kick up in the back. He let go of the brake and a big jolt forced them all back. ?Keep going Jung I have an idea.? Taikaru said hoping it would work. She stuck her hands to the seat and in the front were something like blades. ?Andy can you swirl some fire around the blades up front?? ?Sure.? Andy burned a hole through the windshield and a blaze of flames started to cumulate around the blades Taikaru made. M and Lee tried to help and started to shove zombies out of the way. Eric, Julius, and Farel sat hoping the ride would be over. The army was getting closer and the blades were working full force. Once they hit the army blood and burning organs started flying all around them. ?Holy crap!? Eric said with the organs flying all over. Night was starting to set in and they needed to get back to the plane. This time support was already on its way because Red now could fear for his life. Red was calling in all support he could. *Bound time there was a change.* Taikaru thought. But even with the blades spinning with flames there was no clear view of anywhere. All the streets were blocked by organs and still standing zombies. They rounded some places that Taikaru could recognize. Buildings and everything started to look like she knew them, and she did. The airport came into view with a big landing on top of the building. Their plane sat up top. ?Get out and to the jet. There is not much we can do here anymore.? M said fearful of losing a teammate. They got into the building and it seemed quiet. Papers were strewn through out the entire place. ?Don?t get separated. Chances are they got in here too.? M said looking around each corner. ?We have several floors to go up. If we get separated we will meet out side up on the roof. To be exact how many floors not including the roof then we have seven.? Everyone nodded in agreement. They walked through looking around. Only some things made a sound. They could here papers being rustled. They herd metallic parts being clanked. Doors sounded like they opened and closed. It was all creepy. They traveled down another corridor. The final sound came that gave off the sign. The sound of glass shattering echoed through the hall and it gave terror over the entire group. Then around the corner they saw something appear. It was moving slowly. The hand that appeared around the corner was bloody and pointed downward. ?We aren?t going to get to the plane without a fight eh. I say we should find an alternative rout.? Farel said while he was starting to blend in with his surroundings. ?I agree I will meet up with you at the rendezvous point.? Taikaru said hoping others would join. ?Farel get me up to the shaft there.? ?Alright.? She felt someone grab her and boost her up. She opened the lock on the shaft and crawled in it. After she was in she made a rope with her powers. ?Anyone who doesn?t want to been turned into Hong Kong?s supper get up here.? Even M thought this was better then fighting. ?I don?t know the layout of the building entirely so we might head to a dead end.? ?Well none of us do so push on ahead.? M said trying to get away from the gate that was forced open. To there suspicions they found their way to a dead end quite quickly. They turned ant twisted through all of the turns and corners. Finally from the silence they herd someone speak. ?I think we should navigate on foot if we are ever to get out of here.? Ivy said. There was a gate close by and it was forced open. They landed inside a control room. ?What luck. Everything on camera. We can see the entire building from in here.? Farel said hopping out. ?We can navigate from in here. There is nothing else we can do unless we know where we are going. We will have to stay out of the main halls and find a side rout out of the place. From these cameras we can see that they take on regular human traits as well. They gather in this area here when they eat.? M pointed to a camera full of zombies in what looked to be a cafeteria. ?If my suspicions are correct we will find a blue print of the building in here. Now we have to find the blueprint before we get out of this place.? Everyone started to search. ?What if we can?t find it?? Red said looking into the drawer. ?Then we have no choice but to navigate by camera.? M said in reply. The time was ticking and everyone knew that the zombies would find them eventually. Taikaru then spotted a camera that showed the parking lot. It was filled with moving objects on the ground. All of them were zombies. She went over to M. ?M I think you may want to see this.? ?What is it Taikaru?? She pointed to the monitor of the parking lot. ?Holy crap.? Is all he could say. They watched the screen for awhile until getting back to the blue prints. ?Our time is running out. Where are those blue prints?? ?I found them.? Red said holding a sheet of paper. They examined the piece of paper and found only one rout. ?This is one of our most dangerous missions yet. And it wasn?t even assigned to us. The only way to get out of here is through the ventilation shaft and travel to an office. We exchange shafts there and head towards a cubicle room. Finally the most treacherous of the vents we must take is the last one. We will be going right over the cafeteria. Fortunately the vents are high up but if they brake under our weight then we have a problem. I will let Julius continue.? M explained. ?Thanks M. Now the amount of a support these vents have is only enough to support two of us at a time max. With all the people we have there is about a seventy percent chance of the last group breaking the vent and falling to their doom. This is due to the bolts weakening as a group passes. The bolts won?t hold in forever so we will have to move quickly. Finally as a precaution if you have any weight that you can lose then lose it. We will have to strip down to the last layer of clothing we have. That does not include taking off our pants. If you have any food with you leave it. These are all just precautions to lower the percentage of going through with the last group.? ?So who exactly will be the group that goes last?? Red asked. ?That is up to chance. Or it is up to volunteering.? Julius said. ?Then I will volunteer.? Taikaru said stepping away from the desk in the shadows. ?So will I.? Farel said. ?Alright we got our two volunteers. We must begin this operation quickly. There is no telling when they will all flood out of the cafeteria.? M said. They got back into the vents and followed where they needed to go. Right at the first turn Taikaru started to feel an unknown impulse. *What the. Is this another feeling? I hope not. I can?t deal with my feelings right now. If I get them in the process I will surely die. I have controlled most of them. But this one is unknown. It feels like fear. But it is something different. Wait no I will focus on the mission. The mission is to get out of this place. I don?t care if I go last. If I would fall I will try to get up there as fast as I could. Alright now I can focus.* After thinking there was a loud crash that came from outside of the building but didn?t effect the building. ?What was that?? Lee said. ?We?ll be able to see soon. We are almost at our first point and it has a window.? Julius said. They dropped down out of the vents and went to see what was going on. There was hole and a huge amount of blood. Next the ground was shattering in the parking lot and out of another hole came another one of the dreadful beasts. ?Sandvipers.? Taikaru said. OOC: Yes indeed surprising. "SHHHHHH!" "Sorry..." She sat down and put her hands over her ears thinking. "This is bad, this is really bad...I thought we got rid of those things the last time." "Obviously not." Ivy rocked back and forth thinking hard about what she could do. "You know I think I have an idea..." She looked at Lee knowing he wouldn't like it. "We have to get to the next point, point two right?" They all nodded. "Then why not make a diversion?" They all looked at her starngely. "What? It could work." Lee stepped forward. "And who would be the distrsaction?" "I would." "No..." "Look, I'm the fastest reunner here right now. I can do this. Let me do this." "Ivy I just...don't make me lose you." "I won't." She winked and looked out, she saw a tunred over motorcycle on the ground and smield, she opened the door and ran across the ground stumbleing as it began to tremble. She ran to the bike and tunred it over. Kicking it to life she jumped on and led the vipers away, looking over her shoulder making sure they were following her. One came up infront of her, she swerved to the right cursing. "These blody things have gotten smarter." She spoke into the earpiece yelling at M. "What are you idiots waiting for an invitation? Get going!" She led them away and off the road, she jumped off the bike as it went over the edge, two of the viper following it, she looked up as another reared infront of her, she made it explode infront of her covering the ground and her cloths in a coat of black and red blood. "Gross...I'm sure this'll please the others..." She looked at the viper closely as it twitched bleeding on the brown earth. "They've gotten bigger too, I don't get it...I need to get back with the others." She began to jog towards the second point . She spoke into the earpiece. "I'm on the way to the second point I'll meet you all there." Aknowlagement met her ears and she picked up the pace slowly as she neared the point. He smiled, and considered going outside to welcome her back and make sure she was safe, but then decided against it. Ivy ran, and two trenches moved rapidly towards her position. She was shouting something which Lee couldn't hear. She was waving her arms frantically, and shouting, but Lee couldn't hear her through the soundproof glass. The two trenches burst open, and two sandvipers closed in on Ivy. One of them knocked her to the floor with it's head, knocking her unconscious. Good, thought Lee, now at least they won't know where she is. He drew his foot back, and kicked the window, smashing it into tiny pieces. He jumped out, and fell a few feet to the ground. He ran towards Ivy, but the sandvipers heard him and began racing towards him. "Oh, this is gonna be fun!" he said, letting his hands go loose at his sides, then stiffening them. The concrete around him cracked and burst, and floated gradually into the air. He picked up huge chunks of it, and launched them at the closest viper. One of them caught it in the side of the head, dazing it momentarily. This gave Lee the chance to rip a gas pipe out of the ground, and ram it down the viper's throat. It choked, and gasped as the gas ran through it's body. Lee drew his pistol, and fired a single shot at the viper. It burst through it's skin, going into it's lungs, where all the gas was, and the viper exploded in a shower of blood and entrails. The second viper was closing in on him. He ripped a pane of glass from the side of the building, and waited, the glass hovering in the air. The viper charged at him, and he floated gracefully into the air, and ended up hovering slightly above the viper as it smashed into the building. Lee then dropped the pane of glass, cutting the viper clean in half. Blood gushed out onto the ground, and Lee floated back down to the ground. He picked Ivy up and went back inside, creating a telekinetic bubble around the broken window, making sure no zombies could get in, then lay Ivy down on a bench. He stood up straight, and felt a little dizzy. He stumbled a few paces, then collapsed to the floor. All that effort had taken a lot out of him, and it would take him a while to recharge his batteries. Meanwhile, the other members of the team moved through the vent towards the third point, leaving Ivy and Lee behind. The sounds of zombie moaning resonated from below. The whole group stopped. " We can't go on any further without them hearing us," Julius said from the front of the line. " I'll kill them all," Andy spoke up. " They are weak against fire. Anyway, I need a release." " But Andy..." M started. Andy didn't hear M. She was climbing towards the vent opening. Prying open the grill, Andy dropped herself into the pit of zombies. All the hulking bodies turned towards her. Bringing her now fire red eyes up, Andy glanced at how many there were. There was at least a hundred. The stink of decaying flesh choked the room. Since Andy had spent with M, she had felt free. However, she didn't notice that her tattoo had disappeared. But Andy did notice that she used her left hand to summon fire, not her right. This meaned something concerning her tattoo had happened. The temperature in the room started to rise. Waves of heat could be seen radiating out from Andy's body. Her whole body started to tremble as she felt the true power of fire race through her body. It had been a long time since she had felt the true power of her gift. A flaming aura surrounded Andy. Two wings of blazing white fire burst from her shoulders. This was it. She was rising to her full strength. This would be the first level of her revitalisation. The next time she would get to full power, Andy would experience the full extent of her powers. " Die you beasts." With those words, fire rushed forth, purging the area of the zombies. The fire rushed forward with such intensity that the concrete on the walls started to char and the plastic started to melt. Meanwhile, the others in the vent started to sweat. Red spots started to appear on the metal. " What's happening?" Red asked. M smiled. " Andy's dampener had been removed." " Removed?!" Red asked stunned. " But how? It's a tattoo!" " I don't know. A pyroclasm of flames and heat ripped through not only the cafeteria but the vents as well. One thing Taikaru did notice is that something was happening with the vents. She found a grill to talk through with low enough heat. ?Andy the bolts are loosening. Stop with the flames otherwise we will all wind up with broken legs.? Andy didn?t reply. She gazed around her and all was in flames or melting. Zombie remnants were nowhere to be seen. ?Back up she has gotten too amazed at what power she has to care about the bolts loosening. Back up now.? Everyone started to back up. Julius was the next to speak. ?She is right. It is natural for all of us to get too caught up in our own power that we forget about the others. I would have to say we go back to the office and go down the main corridor. Agreed?? ?Alright. Maybe we can talk to Andy that way.? M said backing up. They dropped in the office and saw the vipers bleeding. Lee and Ivy were there too. ?What happened with the distraction?? ?Seems they are bigger and smarter. I?m not sure but these vipers seem to be like human beings only evolving faster.? ?Well the path is clear and we can get back to the ship now.? Farel said. ?Alright I will carry Ivy.? Lee said picking Ivy up with telekinesis. They went into the halls and found the doors open to the cafeteria. ?Andy come on. We are leaving now.? M said. Andy stopped and looked to M. She headed towards him. She then whispered something Taikaru couldn?t hear. On the roof there was no blood to be seen. All was quite except for the shattering pieces of glass. ?I don?t like this it is too quiet.? Taikaru said looking around. ?I agree with you. This is quieter than sneaking into an abandoned building while I?m invisible.? Farel commented. ?Well stay on your guard. I don?t want anything to happen.? Red said in desperation hoping he would live long enough to get back to HQ. They walked to the ship and they got to the ramp. There was something on the ramp slouched. ?What is that?? Andy asked as they came closer. They got to the object and it was Jung?s torso. His body was ripped apart. They found a foot lying a couple feet away. The rest lead up into the ship. ?There are a couple of zombies in there so you all be careful when getting on board. Otherwise you will end up like poor old Jung here.? M said ready to head up the ramp. They got in and closed the ramp. All the lights were on and they looked around. The parts lead deeper into the ship. The trails of blood and intestines led them to a door by the engines. They opened the door to find a creature. It was holding Jung?s head sucking on all of the innards. It turned around stared them all in the eye and leaped for them. ?MOVE IT!? Andy yelled and knocked everyone to the ground. Flames burst in front of her and the zombie was incinerated. Taikaru moved towards the head. She picked it up. ?Not a real good move Jung.? She tossed it into the fuel tank and walked back to the door. Everyone got into the cockpit. Then they noticed the absence of the pilots. ?Pilots are gone but blood is everywhere on their seats. They must be in here too.? M said looking at the seats then at the team. ?We will need to assemble a party. This ship is bigger than it looks. It is also new so we don?t know the layout that well. We will have to separate into groups. Red and I will take care of flying the plane. Ivy, Lee, and Andy you will search the way back of the plane. Eric, Carl, and Julius will search the front of the plane. Finally Taikaru and Farel you will search the mid sections. The amount of pilots up here is enough to overwhelm one person. So make sure you stick together.? ?May I ask how many there were.? Carl asked hoping for an answer. ?The total amount of pilots up here were three. Then when you include the rest of the people back in the plane you will get a total of twelve zombies left on the plane.? ?Who will be patrolling the cockpit?? Taikaru asked finally speaking up. ?The door will be locked and if it were to open I have my own powers to help me. Now you must kill while on flight the twelve zombies. Once they are dead you can shove them into the fuel tanks as not to spread the virus. Remember we still need to go to Rome.? They all moved out of the cockpit and M shut the door. The lock clicked and they all went out to their positions. ?Farel is there much you know about zombies.? ?No not really. All I know is that they will die when you properly kill them. They also like to hide.? ?Then we will have a problem finding them. If my thoughts are true then we will be put in more danger when we get to Rome.? ?Why would you think that?? ?If the virus mutates then we will have something different then zombies to deal with in Rome.? ?To be honest Taikaru I think you are overanalyzing the situation.? ?Farel there is more to it then overanalyzing. It is only science of the body and disease. I seem to have configured the data. I know we will have something different to deal with.? ?Alright I will believe you I just want to keep up this search.? There was a silence after that and then Taikaru said something out of the blue. ?Farel I never gotten to say this out loud and mean it to its full potential. Farel I love you.? After that Taikaru opened a closet and let out a scream. ?Duck Taikaru.? Farel pulled out a gun and shot a couple times. The zombie that was hidden was shot in the head but didn?t die. Taikaru took out her blades. ?Die!? Her blades were hurled upward and sliced the zombie in three sections. Then she cut across severing its spine. The zombie now was cut into nine sections. Blood covered Taikaru?s shirt and the zombie pieces just lied there. ?Now I will need one of them famous Rome baths.? They both had a chuckle at this but then again Taikaru knew what happened. *Fear. Is this what triggers it. I?ve noticed in the past few times I was unconscious and the enemies just disappear. This started with my coma. The robber was found with no head. Next there was that vampire. He was incinerated by something. After that it was when Farel was lying in bed and the viper got up to the window. It was gone and no new entry holes. Finally I almost had that feeling right now. I think I will need some more control.* ?Taikaru we should go and search for more.? ?What oh alright. I will need to radio in.? She turned on her ear piece. ?M we got one.? ?Alright that is three down and only nine to go.? ?Three down?? ?Yes Julius, Carl, and Eric got one. Ivy, Lee, and Andy also got one. Hope you find the rest. We still got two hours until we reach our destination.? ?Alright M.? She turned off the ear piece. Taikaru took a glance at Farel and moved on. ?Taikaru I must tell you that I am glad that you are my partner.? Taikaru looked at Farel. ?I am too.? They trudged on to the ammo supply in the ship. This big room was quiet and dank. There were no bright lights and most of them looked broken. ?Farel maybe for this we need a light.? ?If we don?t go in now they could migrate somewhere else.? They went in. There was no blood and there wasn?t any signs of zombies. Then there was a clank. They turned around quickly. ?Who is there?? Farel said. There was a groan. Then a voice. ?He?help?help me. I?Don?t?know what is going on. I feel like I need?blood. Please kill?me.? ?Interesting there is a point of pain before the transformation.? Taikaru said looking at the dark figure. ?Let?s kill him Taikaru. I won?t like to see another in agony just because we won?t kill them.? He turned as well as Taikaru to look back at the figure. Blood was splattered on the walls and the floor, and smeared over the carpet. That meant that something had been dragging something bloody, either a broken limb or another body. They edged closer to where the trail stopped, and found a leg lying in the middle of the floor. Andy turned away, disgusted. A snorting could be heard from just around the corner. They edged round, and there was a zombie feasting on an arm. Lee drew his pistol, took aim, and was about to fire when the zombie turned and looked at him. One of its eyes was hanging out of its socket, and the other was nowhere to be seen. It's jaw was missing, and blood covered its body. It began to move towards Lee, who fired into the zombie's head. It staggered slightly, but recovered and continued walking towards him. He fired repeatedly into its body and head, but nothing seemed to work. They moved back, and Lee continued firing, to no avail. "I'm gonna burn it!" said Andy, fire igniting in her left hand. "No!" said Lee, "If you do that, then the metal of the plane will conduct the het all the way through. If you try to burn it, you could end up killing us all!" Andy extinguished the flame reluctantly. Lee continued to fire. It still wasn't working. "Screw this," said Ivy, drawing her shotgun and firing a single round into the zombie's head. It vaporised in a shower of blood and small fragments of skull. The zombie walked forward for a few steps more, before realising that it had no head, and falling to the ground, dead. "Finally!" gasped Lee. Something grabbed his shoulder, and he turned around. A zombie was staring him straight in the face, and it groaned, before trying to bite his neck. Ivy was quick, and fired two shells into it's head from point-blank range. The effect was immediate this time. The zombie fell straight away. She frowned in her rest, remembering what had happened. Ivy looked around and sighed. "You and me both but I think that we're shit outta luck, get doen." She grabbed Andy and Lee draging them to the floor, Andy gaged as she found the arm in her face, Ivy threw it the other way. "Stay quiet." "What's going on?" "The other Zombies heard the racket, their outside..." Lee looked at her nad shook his head. "That's to many..." "If you can't use fire, or pistols, use what you have left." Ivy refilled her shotgun and drew her sword. "I don't know about you, but I'm not dieing here." Lee looked at her and smiled. "Your getting improper Ivy." "Proper comes later Lee, we gotta get outta here first." Ivy stood and shot a round into a Zombie as it tried to come through a window. She heard Lee grunt and Andy struggle she tunred and saw that they were comeign from both ends of the plane. "I hope the others are okay..." She closed her hands tightly and concentrated hard she screamed as all the zombies around them exploded, she fell to her knees and took a deep breath, she looked outside and growled dangerously, she jumped out and in the middle of them, she began to hack at them shooting her shotgun here and there, she looked beyond them and saw with satisfaction as the others ran acros to the third point quickly, she nodded and concentrated again, she fell to her knees as they surrounded her, she felt anger well up in her chest as the rotting hands groped her and the nast spit from their mouths landed on her cheek, she opened her eyes growling lightly, her eyes now yellow, she stood upercutting a zombie in the jaw, it fell to it's back and she smiled wickedly stepping on it's head, she laughed as she heard the squishing of it head and looked up at the others, the exploded just from her looking at them, Andy and Lee were now in the fray with her as she went wild. She spun and laughed as the zombies exploded befroe her with her concentrtateing, Ivy's power had evolved and grown to the next level. she smiled as the decaying guts flew everywhere, very soon the area wa purged of the zombies, blood and guts were strewn all over the place, she stood in the middle a small circle clean f the gore. Breathing heavily she turned to Andly and Lee, she wasn't out of energy, but something was wrong. She was crying but she was smileing wickedly as well, she took a deep breath and spoke, her voice cracking and pleading. "I-I can't control it, run, I can't--I can't stop it. Please! I-I don't want to hurt either of you..." she looked at her hand and then up at them a wicked smile crossing her lips as she cried. Everyone looked at Ivy, M wondered if he should have put the dampener like he was supposed to do. Ivy had fought her maddness and won, but at a cost, she was now in acoma and wouldn't wake up. Tears rolled down his cheeks. It was just his luck. He fell in love with someone and then they go into a coma. He was connected with her telepathically, but he could feel her slipping away. He was holding her mind in her body with all his strength, but he knew that she wouldn't last long in these conditions. M walked in, and came up to Lee. He put his hand on Lee's shoulder, and said: "Are you gonna be okay?" "I don't know. Is she gonna be okay?" he replied. "It's not looking good at the moment, Lee. We could lose her any minute. You need to keep a clear head, and make sure you keep her mind in her body for as long as possible while we try to get her out of this coma." "I'll try." "Okay, Lee, that wasn't exactly why I came in here. The doctors just told me to say that, because they don't agree with what I'm about to suggest. Do you wanna hear it?" "Yes," said Lee, his face brightening up, "Anything! Please tell me!" "You can use your telepathy to dive in and rescue her mind. You stand a good chance of rescuing her, but you might lose your mind in the process. Still, I think it would be the best way to bring her back. What do you think?" "I'll do anything to save her. I don't care if I go down, as long as she is alright." "Well, we can hook you up to a set of monitors, so we can pull you back if anything really dangerous is gonna happen." "Okay, let's do it," he said. Around half an hour later, Lee was connected to a bank of monitors similar to Ivy's. His heart rate and brain activity were represented by a mess of green lines which meant nothing to Lee. He concentrated hard, and entered Ivy's mind. It was dark inside, with nothing much to show for her intense mind. A few flashes of colour went past, indicating Ivy's thought patterns. Lee went further in, seeing more and more flashes of colour as he went further in. He eventually came to a brightly coloured light, which he had to shield his eyes against. Light shone through his eyelids, though, so he moved into the light. As he went in, he found an image of Ivy, lying in the midst of all the coloured lights, with more coloured lights bursting forth from her head every few minutes, indicating new thoughts coming forth every once in a while. "Hey Ivy," he said. "Lee!" she cried, happy to see him. She floated over to him and hugged him, and gave him a kiss on the lips. "How are you?" he asked. "I'm okay, considering. I know I'm not waking up, but I'm just that stubborn. It's sweet that you came in to get me, but I'll be out in my own time." "You have to be careful, Ivy. If you stay in here too long, you're so deep you might not get out again. We could lose you forever." "I know the risks, Lee, I just need some time with my own thoughts." "Okay, as long as you're sure you'll be able to get out again. I miss you. I was afraid I'd never get you back." "That's not going to happen, Lee," she said, kissing him again, "Now go, before you get stuck in here." He floated away, and felt her moving further and further away from him. He floated further away, but found something blocking his way. It was huge and black, with yellow eyes and blood-red claws. He shouted for Ivy, but all the coloured light was gone. He was no longer in Ivy's mind, or in his own. He was trapped somewhere else, unable to get back to reality. He would have to fight his way through this creature. [I]Reality...[/I] Lee's brain activity monitor flatlined, showing zero activity, and his heart rate grew weaker. M moved him to his own bed, and the medical crew rushed in. Taikaru looked for the man that was in the big room. The place where he sat was covered in blood. His arm was lying on the ground and he was no where in sight. Then Taikaru felt a small drip on her shoulder. ?What is this?? She touched her shoulder and looked at her hand covered in a dark red staining liquid. She looked up and there were dozens of zombies hanging over head. Farel looked up as well. ?We need to contact M.? ?Right. M there is more zombies on this plane than we thought.? ?I know. Ivy has just fallen into a coma and Lee I don?t know about.? ?If they are both down then we have only a few left. How are Eric, Carl, and Julius doing?? ?We haven?t got a report from them yet but we should soon.? ?So who is all left.? ?Well there is Eric, Julius, and Carl. Then there is Andy and me.? ?That isn?t enough, unless Andy heats and burns the zombies to a slight crisp.? ?That isn?t possible. The metallic parts in here would conduct not only heat but the electric current that would go nuts from the heat.? ?Isn?t there any way to kill these zombies without setting us all in a dangerous situation?? ?Well you could just rip out the spine as you said.? ?Can we hurry this up they look like they want to come off and eat us.? Farel said staring up at the ceiling. Taikaru looked up to see the zombies prying themselves from what hung them from the ceilings. ?M we will report back in about 20 minutes. No use trying to get Andy to burn them.? Taikaru turned off her ear piece. ?This isn?t looking good.? ?Well take out what blade you have and start decapitating these things.? They both took out what blades they had. Next they backed up against the open door. The zombies started to fall and blood splattered all over when they hit the ground. One fourth of the zombies were killed just from falling and turning into a mesh of organs and blood. ?Now let?s begin.? Taikaru got a feeling in her that she could feel with intense recognition. The zombies that were left from the fall were now coming at them with sluggish force. With Taikaru?s intense speed she was already behind one and with a blink of the eye she had cut open the zombie?s back and ripped out the spinal cord. Farel saw Taikaru do this with precision so he jumped on in. The blood was spewing everywhere. ?Taikaru I think if we keep on doing this we will have killed all of them in no time at all.? ?Maybe.? She was working on decapitating a zombies head and finished her sentence. ?Ivy and Lee are out though.? ?What? How are they out?? ?Ivy got caught in a coma and Lee tried to save her.? They both sat down in the blood, organs, and shredded spinal pieces exhausted. ?So they are both in a coma.? ?I?m not sure but I know Ivy is. Lee just went in to save her and now he is on the verge of death as well.? ?Well are there any more zombies we need to take care of?? ?There are two main areas that must be protected right now. That is the cockpit and the illness center in this plane. If one of those are knocked out there are two possibilities. One: Lee and Ivy become one of them and we have to kill our own friends. Two: We all crash and burn and the world becomes a hell pit for all these demons and other paranormal things coming out of veins in the universe to destroy the human race.? ?I?m surprised you actually call them friends.? ?Well attitudes towards other people can change. We must protect one of the areas.? ?How about we protect both.? ?What do you mean?? ?Well you could protect one area and I could protect another.? ?So who is going to get what?? ?Haven?t thought of that. I guess you will need to protect the cockpit because all we need down the illness center is a watch dog. I seem to fit that perfectly.? ?Alright then. Just to let you know it is not the illness center that needs to be guarded. It is the room next to it, Ivy?s room.? ?Alright. I will just be watch dog for what ever. You just get to the cockpit stat.? They both ran off in different directions after leaving the room. In a brief moment she was already at the cockpit area. The doors were reinforced steel. Taikaru sat in one of the seats from the secondary cockpit and watched for any abnormities. Five minutes passed and nobody came. The bridge was silent and it seemed just a bit spooky. Finally something came and passed the door. For a moment it looked like M. But as it came into view it bared five cuts to its throat. For some reason she didn?t feel scared of it. The zombie came closer to her. She didn?t feel scared or even fearful. She felt like some other presence was over here. She even sat down and saw the thing come closer. It reached for her and when it did she felt like she went to sleep. -Dream. She stared up to see her father by the table. ?Well come on Taikaru you?re not going to miss out on your birthday.? Once again she was trying to get into character. ?No I?m not going to miss it.? She looked at the table and a birthday cake was sitting on the table. There was no frosting or anything but it looked good. ?Don?t forget Taikaru this is your birthday so I made your rice ball cake.? Her mother said. She went over to sit by her brother at the table. His face was calm yet there was a small glimpse of excitement. They were served the rice cake and they all started to sing a song that she recognized but couldn?t place. They finally got to eating after the little song and her brother turned to her. ?You know sis, I?m going to one day travel to where dad has gone and more. One place I know I would love to go is that one place.? ?What place?? Taikaru said hoping she would get an answer. ?I would like to go to Mexico and brave there. They say they got ancient ruins there and I would like to see them.? ?Where would you live?? ?I would live in Chile. That way I could go and climb a mountain and be back in time to have a day at the beach.? ?Taikaru so what did you want from your father?? Taikaru turned to the big guy on the other side of the table. He pulled out something from his pocket. ?Here it is a souvenir for you.? It was a long necklace that was made of gold. -Reality She woke up from her sleep. She saw Farel above her. ?No sleeping on the job.? He said trying to be like a comedian. ?Hey I wasn?t sleeping. I was uhh...well you caught me off guard.? He let out a laugh from this. Everyone was back in there seats except for Ivy, Lee, and M. The loud speaker came on. ?We are about to land in Rome. Please buckle up until we land.? It was Red. The plane landed in Rome and everyone looked out the windows to see what effect the virus had this time. It had mutated as expected. They all saw from the window people in cased in stone. OOC: If you don?t want gargoyles or something along the lines of stone people then just say that we mistook some statues or something.
