Guest Vywien
Personally i think this is the cutest anime i've ever seen, chat abit and tell me your opinions......all is welcome :D
Rick Hunter
Sorry I don't feel the same way you do. I find Oh! Super Milk Chan to be one of the most repulsive and poorly written animes of our time. It tries to act like a Seinfield and be a show about nothing.....but fails at that. The jokes are by far very lame, even if they are japanese culture related the jokes are not at all funny. The dubbed version is just as terrible as the subbed version. Personally this show lasted 14 episodes tooo long.....and I'm suprised Cartoon Newtork refused to cancel it even after dismal ratings. :flaming:
Guest Vywien
you don't have to be a complete dick about it, i just wanted an opinion, not critasism. every one is different, so everyone's style is also different, i understand those "lame" jokes i like the whole style of the anime, and i find a common link with the anime. like the presedent reminds me of our presedent, George Bush, uneducated mind and all. i love techno and just the movements of the characters imbodies the vision of techno, the theme song (beginning and ending) is techno. the fu**ed up antfarm in which they live in is just as fu**ed up as the world in which i walk in. you only look at the outside of these things, you must develope a deeper view of things, don't be afriad to look into the doings of the characters, don't judge and try to look at the overall effect without looking into the inner message first. such harsh words are why many great animes have been canceled, it's because people like you who look at the shell of things and judge without thinking of the ones who do like them... Dagger
Let's try to avoid flaming here, please. Rick Hunter posted a negative opinion of the show, and you responded by attacking him as a person. That's not entirely appropriate. Additionally, it's best to just sit back and let the built-in censor do its job, as opposed to sprinkling in your own asterisks (which, unfortunately, is rather like attempting to bypass it, though I'm sure you had better intentions). If you have questions about this or anything else, feel free private message me or Solo. Thanks! :) ~Dagger~
ChibiHorsewoman
I tried to watch the show, but the previews made me gag. I caught fifteen minutes of it and it made me yern for SailorMoon...DiC dubbed SailorMoon. With Terri Hawke as Serena... and the evil made Rei. It's poorly animated and doesn't seem to have much of a plot. Personally I think it wasn't worth the cells to make it and fan artists could have done better.

Opinions on things are two-sided, and you can't ask for opinions on Super Milk-Chan without expecting a whole lot, and I mean a lot, of negative opinions. Billy Shears
Super Milk Chan is the worst piece of crap that can be considered anime. It is a disgrace to the name. How is it cute?! It has the most appalling artwork I've ever seen! If you want to watch a good, humouros anime, watch Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashe. If you have to constantly repeat the joke "You dumbass!" over and over, you have the worst writers ever. It's not funny to begin with, nor will it be funny when you use it 3-4 times an episode. Family Guy repeats jokes, but ones that are funny. And I'm not flaming you, I'm flaming the idiots that made the show. Thus, ending my opinion. "You dumbass!" -the one and only
Grammar Panzer
Amen, Billy Shears... Amen. Please try and add more detail to your posts in future. I know that you're basically agreeing with what Billy Shears said, but a little elaboration would prevent the post from looking like spam- anything too short will be deleted as such in future. -Solo
Dagger
It's okay, I would've been angry if someone insulted the anime I like too
The sentiment is greatly appreciated, but I've deleted your post, as the discussion is starting to get sidetracked. Please go read Solo's warning in the post above yours. And from now on, I'd like all replies in this thread to focus on the actual show. Further apologies and/or accepting of apologies would be somewhat redundant here, but you're quite welcome to continue off-topic conversations via PM. Thanks! ~Dagger~
You Don't Care
I think that this series is a bold one. For those who can't tell, the intent of "Super Milk-Chan" was to re-recycle old jokes (and make it obvious). It can be said that this project was meant to annoy certain audiences. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few groups of people who enjoy the torment of others through watching series such as this. A good example of annoying anime: when (at my local japanese comic shop) they play "Hamtaro" only when the dungeons and dragons, TCG players, and bums come to hang around. These are the people who don't actually buy something like normal customers. Good times. Other than that, I give Milk Chan a four out of five for annoyingly entertaining, "You Dumbass!" Dagger
I have a question for those of you who have seen both the straight dub (which is currently being shown on Cartoon Network) and the Americanized DVD dub (I think it's called 100% Whole, or something to that effect): which version do you prefer? Alternatively, which do you find more amusing? ~Dagger~
Dragonboym2
This show is not well liked among most people I know. My best freinds like it, and I think it's okay, but the first words that came out of my mouth when I first saw it was "WHAT THE ****!?" But I like the twisted Haikus, and the odd ball humor. Hey, I grew up with John K's "The Ren and Stimpy Show". :D The show can be very silly though. It needs the late great Gram Chapman to come on as the Colonel, and say "Awlright! Stop that! Stop that! Stop it imedditly! It's silly! Too silly! Too silly! Right! Now off with you! Off with you! Off with you! Offoffoffoffoff!" That's how silly it can be. But still, it makes me laugh.
