Camp Fire Stories!!!

Do you have any ghost stories to tell?...do you know anyone whos been haunted?...have you encountered the spirit kind?....Do you know of any hauntings in your area?.....and so on.

Well tell them here!...If you have been haunted, or you know of a place or person whos been haunted...then post it.

[COLOR=Navy]In our house we hear loads of freaky things...kind of got use to it now but sometimes somethings can't be egnored. This house use to belong to my grandparents and ever since we've been here...there's been so many wierd things...here's one of them.

In a spare room on the second floor you can hear a loud knocking. I go in to check but there's nothing. As soon as I close the door the knocking starts again. I open the door..its gone. So once again I close the door, the knocking starts back up but then i egnore it...I start walking down the stairs and it gets louder and louder right up until we hear a window smash...I run up to the room and find that nothings happened....It's really damn freaky...but..you get use to it after a while.[/COLOR]

Also when were down stairs you can hear someone walking around up stairs....its quite annoying sometimes because we think its a burglar but then we realise...Its day time!

There's a couple that i've had..and there's alot more...do you have any to tell?

[b][font=Verdana][size=1]At my dad's current house, there have been so many incidents that at least 4 non-believers have had to change their minds after staying there... and they start believing...[/size][/font][/b]

[b][font=Verdana][size=1]When I was staying there, there were two things that happened all the time that scared me every time (never got used to it).[/size][/font][/b]

[b][font=Verdana][size=1]One was a "shadow person" that lingered in the doorway of the basement bathroom and laundry room. It didn't matter how dark it was down there- he was darker still... and he would watch you if you were in the basement... you could tell he was looking right at you... and he gave off a feeling of pure hatred and evil...like he would kill you if he could...[/size][/font][/b]

I would be talking to my dad or my boyfriend about whatever was on my mind, and they would get up and start walking away, beckoning me to follow and keep talking, so I'd walk along behind them and they would go downstairs and into the bathroom/laundry room area... and as soon as I would cross the doorway where the shadow man stood, my dad or boyfriend would disappear and I would be standing down there alone. Sometimes, they didn't take me to the basement, but would just turn a corner upstairs and vanish.... Not once did I suspect that it wasn't really my dad or my boyfriend that I was following- they looked real and solid and they were breathing and making the old stairs creak, etc...but it wasn't them...[/size][/font][/b]

One ghostly story that recently happened was an experience my mom had. My mom and aunt (her sister-in-law) who was visiting were sitting around the house in the evening. My dad had left the house to go pick up some dinner. My mom and aunt hear two firm knocks at the door. They look at the time which is right about 7:30pm. They were thinking it was kind of strange for someone to come visit so late. My parent's house is about 10 miles from town out in the country so my aunt tells my mom she better check out the window before answering the door. Normally people don't make the trip out there without calling first.

My mom looks out the front window and doesn't see anyone outside. She goes to the backdoor of the house and finds their dog sleeping on the porch. Normally he would have barked if someone showed up at the house. Because he didn't it seemed a bit strange. Also since he was on the back porch they know it wasn't the dog's tail hitting the front door. My mom and aunt were trying to figure out what it was they heard. Right then the phone rang.

My mom answers the phone and it is her sister. She was calling to let my mom know that their older brother had passed away. He passed away right about 7:30pm, the same time my mom and aunt heard the knocks at the door. My mom is convinced it was her brother's spirit saying goodbye to her.

When my mom told this to me it gave me the chills. Creepy, just plain creepy.
