[Redemption]

[FONT=Times New Roman][b]OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I'm having issues with my sisters over the internet at this particular moment in time.[/b]


Kala gently poked the fire, edging it to burn on and continue cooking their meal. Jack and Kane were helping her at the start, but after a few minutes, they couldn't stand being in each other's presence any longer and sat opposite each other, with the fire in between them. Jun's angel, Osiris, stood there with his arms crossed, watching all three Elementals closely.

Night had enveloped them. The sounds of waves could be heard crashing on the beach. It was soothing. Kala looked at Jack quickly. She noticed how he sat - like a warrior, ready to jump into action at any given moment. Then she looked over to Kane. He was still fuming over the mock fight he had with Jack, although the edge of his anger had worn off enough so that Kala could talk to him with him jumping down her throat.

Kala could hear murmurs over at the stream's edge. She knew it was Sam and the dark angel, Jun, talking. Kala had overheard Sam and Kane talking about Jun recently, but still, he was a new person to Kala and maybe, a threat to them.

Flicking her piece of green hair out of her eyes, Kala stood and walked towards the beach.
" Where are you going?" Kane asked. Kala predicted he would ask this, and that's why she headed to the beach.
" I'm.....going to see the waves...." With that, she disappeared down the embankment. Kala shuddered as the cool wind whipped up around her. She had purposely headed to the beach so Kane and Jack wouldn't realise what her true intention was.

Using her powers of time, Kala appeared behind a tree, near Sam and Jun. She looked cautiously from behind it. The emotions in the air were overwhelming. Kala saw Sam nod. The Earth Elemental looked at Jun.

" You know, I kind of like the winged look," Sam said with a smile.
" Yeah, well they can be a pain sometimes," Jun replied, looking out over the water.
Sam laughed. " Well I bet they come in handy with women," she said with a wink.
" And what's that suppose to mean?" Jun asked looking at her. Kal could tell Sam was being playful.
" Easier to run away with," Sam joked, smiling. Jun laughed. It was a nice laugh. Kala's feeling of dread eased.
" Well that's just one of the many perks," Jun said with a smile. Sam looked at Jun and leaned on his shoulder.
" The smile doesn't look half bad either."
Jun just looked over the water.

Kala looked at them intensely, trying to feel the emotions around them. Emotions to Kala where warps of time. Love and lust was time warping at an extremely fast rate. Anger was violent and irregular warping. And sadness was a slow warp. But there was too many around both Jun and Sam for Kala to differ. Her powers and skills weren't that sharp yet.

Suddenly Jun stood. Kala froze. Jun turned and looked straight at the tree Kala was hiding behind.
" What's the matter?" Sam asked, looking confused.
" Someone is watching us," Jun replied seriously. He drew one of his katanas and sprinted over to Kala who was frozen on the spot. Swiftly he caught her by the throat and hoistered her up into the air with his katana's blade underneath her throat.

" Why were you listening to us?" Jun accused strongly. His voice had changed to one of fire and horror. Kaal couldn't respond. His hand was clamped so tightly around her throat that all she could do was gasp. Tears of fear leaked out of Kala's eyes.
" NO JUN!" Sam shouted as she leapt up to Kala's defence. Jun looked at Kala cautiously before dropping her to the ground. Sam rushed over to Kala who sat there in a trance of some sort.

" Kala? Kala? Are you okay?" Sam said, trying to get Kala to respond. In an instant, Kala disappeared and reappeared next to Kane. When he looked beside him, he received quite a shock to see Kala sitting there, tears flowing out of her eyes freely.

The shock and fear of the past day's events had all accumulated in Kala's mind until that point where Jun had threatened her life. Like what she had always done when something like this would happen, Kala withdrew into her shell once again, withdrew herself into the world of her own inside her own mind. That is why she had a look of being a trance in her eyes. She was alone and terrified.

[Blayze]

Kane was staring, angrily, at Jack. The memory of the past day had been lurking in his mind, refusing to go away. Jack was arrogant, and a fool for doubting in Kane's ability to fight, both using his own strength and his elemental strength. He would prove himself in battle some day.

Something swooped across the water, skimming the waves, flipping over and dipping the tips of its wings in the water, creating a spray. It was golden, and was obviously Dawn. However, as the sky darkened and Dawn got closer, he transformed into the more mature of the two siblings, the one that Kane identified with the most. Dusk landed in front of him.

"Greetings, master Kane. Has your mentor made her decision yet?" he asked in his rough, gravelly tones.

"I'm not sure. I'll go and find her." Kane got to his feet and ran over to where Sam was sitting with Jun. Jun was holding Kala around the neck, lifting her off her feet, his eyes burning. Sam shouted at Jun to stop, and he dropped Kala. Kane ran over to her, and dropped to his knees.

"Are you alright? He didn't hurt you did he?" he asked.

"Well, it hurt a little when he grabbed me, but its alright now," she replied, rubbing her neck. Kane got to his feet and strode over to Jun.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, asshole?" he shouted, "You could have killed her!"

"She was listening in on our conversation."

"That doesn't give you the right to strangle her half to death!"

"Kane, that's a bit of an exaggeration," said Sam.

"I don't care. Jun, or whatever your name is, we are the people you are working with to defeat the enemy. If you don't like us, fine, but you still have to respect us. I know it was wrong of Kala to listen in, but she was concerned about Sam. But that still doesn't give you the right to hurt her that much! You can't do that to your team-mates!"

"What do you know about being in a team, boy?" said Jun threateningly, "I was in a team, and I almost died because of it. Three other members of that team died for the others. Sam and I are the only ones left. Being in a team is fine, but it doesn't prepare you for the pain of losing that team. Do you understand?"

Kane nodded, thenturned to Sam and said quietly:

"Dusk is back. He wants to know whether you have decided yet." They all walked back to the waterfront, where Dusk was waiting.

"We have decided to accept your offer. Take us to the Destroyer," Sam said calmly.

"Very well." Dusk wrapped his wings around himself, and turned into a shining ball of silver energy.

"Step in," said his voice from nowhere. They stepped in, and were whisked to another place entirely.

The Destroyer sat upon his dark throne, Dawn on his left hand side, Dusk on his right. He was cloaked in shadow. No-one could see his true face.

"Welcome, elementals," he said, "I am glad you have decided to meet with me. I respect you for that."

(OOC: Ok, whoever wants to post next can make a meeting with the Destroyer)

"Well I hope you weren't expecting the same... your a coward destroyer..." Sam said. She kept her calm, but she was tired of this... demon, this man... whatever he truly was.

"I've heard so much about you Samantha... I was intrigued with how well you knew darkness..." he said.

Something in her triggered her memories back to Kelthor... the room... the lonlieness... she knew it was the destroyer, tapping into her mind. She put her hands to her head and crouched down... he was invading all of her thoughts.

Jun stared at her as Kane and Kala went over to her. Jun became angry... and fire and darkness enveloped his heart.

"Leave her alone!!" he said stepping toward him, but there was a wall... an invisible one. The destroyer smiled and tried to read Jun's thoughts... but it proved useless... he had a power within him... keeping that from being read.

"Ah the power of Lucifer..." he laughed. The students stared at Jun. "I had no idea you were still merged with your demon."

Jun stared at him as he laughed in his face... anger boiled through him, but he struggled to contain it...

Sam looked up at him, her eyes red with tears. "Get out of my mind you sick bastard..." she said hoarsely.

"Oh why certainly... there's a lot of pain inside there, and I think I have more than enough on you." he said smiling. She felt him release her mind and she breathed heavily. She looked at the others..

"Get out of here..." she whispered to Kane.

"Sam... what about you?"

"Get them out of here... he can't know..." she said. Kane had no idea what she was talking about. But he obeyed and grabbed Kala's hand and pulled Jack back as well. They ran from the area, and were able to make it through the portal before it closed on them.

Sam looked at Jun and he helped her to her feet. The destroyer laughed. "Kelthor was weak child... I will show you true fear... do not worry... my tactics will make you forget the fear he instilled in you."

Sam stared at him and walked closer to the man. Jun watched... she was a lot stronger than before.

"You asked us here... only to get a better idea of your enemies... those who knows their enemies... knows how to win. I won't let you hurt them... and if that means you come through me... them so be it. I don't fear the darkness anymore, destroyer... you looked into my past. And you will see... that there is nothing to gain from the past."

She turned around and he laughed. "How do you expect to leave this place?" he said.

Jun smiled. "Osiris has been here as well..."

A portal opened, and they walked through, Osiris shutting it quickly, leaving the Destroyer... angry and feeling defeated... something that he would make her regret...

When they got to camp, everyone was sitting down staring at the fire. Sam knew what was wrong.... they realized what Jun truly was...

She looked at Jun and Jun stared at them. She put her hand on his shoulder and he nodded as he walked away.

She sat down in front of them and looked at all their wandering faces.

"Which one wants to speak up first?" she said. Kane shot her a glance, but it was Jack who spoke.

"How can you trust him? He's got the creator of hell himself inside of him!!" he said staring at her.

"You're endangering us all.... by letting him stay." Kane said looking down. Kala didn't say anything.

"He's not dangerous." Sam said looking at them.

"You saw what he did to Kala!!" Kane said standing up. Sam looked up at him... she wasn't going to scold him... or make him remember his place as student... she was a lot wiser than that... that would cause divisions.

"There are many people in this world who deserve condemnation. The destroyer, being one of them.... Lucifer.. being another... but Jun does not."

They looked at her confused. Kane kneeled down to her level and looked at her. "But Lucifer... is [i]inside[/i] of him..." he said.

Sam smiled. "Kane... in your life... how much good.... have you seen?"

He looked at her. "I've seen a lot of good Sam... namely you."

"You all are going to save this world... for what? In hopes... of [i]saving[/i] that good."

"I don't think I know where you're going with this, need I remind you we are talking about Jun." Jack said shrewdly.

Sam looked at Jack, but her words were directed toward everyone. "If there was only... a smidget of good on this planet... would you or would you not risk your life to save it?" she said.

Jack stared at her... he started to understand.

"Jun... has been a dear friend to me.... and a wonderful ally. Not once, has he allowed that demon inside of him to take over. He had the chance to kill me once... but he did not. For that, and other things... there is good in him. How righteous can we claim to be, if we turned our back on that?"

She stood up and walked down to the bank, leaving them to their thoughts. But on her way, she saw Jun... he heard everything.

"Listening in on conversations, are we?" she said with a wink. He smiled softly.

[Blayze]

"Well, now we're all together, we may as well go to the temple. You ready to go back, Jun?" said Sam.

"I guess so," he said gruffly. Sam took a remote control out of her pocket and pressed a button. The floor opened up, and they all jumped down into the temple area. Kane had heard Sam talk about this place, but he had never thought it would be this beautiful. It was a stone temple, now covered in flowering vines. It took Kane's breath away, and the same happened with Kala. Jack immediately began to look around the temple, presumably for any structural weaknesses at all. Sam and Jun stared at it, their memories taking them back.

"A lot has changed here since we were last here," Sam said quietly to Jun. They all entered the beautiful building, and found their own individual rooms.

"There have always been rooms themed around Water, Earth, Lightning, Wind and Fire, but new ones have appeared," said Sam, puzzled, "The rooms for Gravity, Time and Metal. Strange..."

Kane was in his room. Everything was specially weighted in case his gravitational powers got out of control when he slept. He was sitting cross-legged in the middle of the floor, meditating. He was centering his energies, to focus them for when he most needed them. Sam walked in and leant on the doorframe.

"Are you okay, Kane?" she asked.

"I'm fine. I just got a little frustrated at Jun, so I am meditating to calm myself. Don't worry about me."

"But I do worry about you, Kane. You hardly ever say anything, and when you do talk it's just angry banter. But you seem to be able to speak to Kala more easily than you can talk to me, and you only met her a few days ago."

"I just relate better to people more my age. She's going through the same kind of things as me. I find it easy to talk to her because she doesn't judge me."

"I don't judge you either, Kane!"

"You do sometimes. I know it might just be sub-conscious, but you do judge me. You think I'm uptight, and I have some sort of superiority complex."

"I don't think that. Why would you say I do?"

"You're always telling me to take it easy, to treat people as equals. I think that would count."

"You don't have a superiority complex, Kane. You find your equals wherever you go."

"Then come and meditate with me and stop interrupting."

She smiled and walked over. She sat down and began to meditate with him. It calmed her, made her put her feelings into perspective.

Afterwards, they were relaxing, talking.

"Do you love Jun?" asked Kane.

"Sometimes, a lot of the time, I think I do. Then he does something out of the ordinary, and I feel as though I don't. I'm not sure about his feelings for me, though. Sometimes I think he could love me back, but he has always been so cold and distant. I'm just not sure..."

"Why not?"

"I've always been quite undecisive, Kane. That's why I dreaded becoming the leader of our group. But I'm glad I have Jun to help me now. I just wish Lyon and Zack were here to see this."

"They sound like good people."

"They were the best friends I've ever had. They showed me how to control myself, how to centre myself, and they treated me like a friend, not like a freak, as many people used to treat me."

"It must be nice to have had people who cared for you like that. I never had anyone who cared for me so much."

"What about the monks at the monastery? They took care of you."

"Yes, but I don't think they ever cared for me. They brought me up, but there was always fear there, something deep and powerful. They feared what I might become with my powers. So they trained me to be good, not evil. And I thank them so much for that."

They sat there, thinking for a while, before Sam said:

"Ok, well I have to be off now. I'll see you in the morning, Kane." She walked out of the room, and left Kane to get to bed.

Sam walked over to Kala's room and noticed her staring outside of the window.

"I'm okay Sam... and I'm sorry." she said.

Sam walked over to her and laid her hand on her shoulder. Kala cried a little, but wiped her tears away.

"I know... he can be rough at times... don't let him scare you though... you'll see that he can be a valued friend at times..."

"I wasn't meaning anything by it... I just... was curious." she said as she looked up at her.

Sam smiled. "I know what curioisity is like... I've always been curious about a lot of things." she said. Kala nodded.

"But the most important thing Kala, we want you here... all of us. Not even Jun would be happy to see you leave. We need you here." she gave her a slight hug. "You may not realize it, but you're helping Kane a lot just by being here... and that... means a lot to me. He can talk to you... it seems just about anything... and he's comfortable with you."

Kala smiled. She liked feeling needed...

Sam kissed her lightly on the forehead and smiled at her. "You look as if you need some sleep."

Kala laughed. "Well I am a little tired."

"Well don't let me stop you." she said, leaving Kala to her thoughts.

"Sam?"

"Yes?" she said with her hand on the doorframe.

"Good night Sam.. and thank you." she said.

"You're a light to this group Kala... a light for those who struggle in darkness..." she said. She walked out and went toward Jack's room.... and was surprised to see Jun in there.

"Okay, so you merged with your demon... and you still have complete control... I think I can live with that..." Jack said with that superior tone he often used.

"Well I'm glad I have your permission." Jun said sarcastically. He was leaning against the door frame.

Jack almost smiled but thought better of it. He nodded. "Well I'm really tired." he said.

"Admitting to weaknesses?" Jun said raising an eyebrow at him.

Jack looked at him sharply. "Well how else am I to get a half demon out of my room?" he said quickly.

"Good point." Jun knew he was being friendly in his own... round about way. He walked out. "Take care." he said. He turned the corner to find Sam smiling.

"Bonding with my students, are we?"

"He's a Jack alright." Jun said walking with her down the hallway. Sam smiled.

"I'm sure he'd be honored to know he gained your respect." she said.

Jun smiled. He wasn't about to admit that the kid gained his respect... but he knew she was right. Jack had a hard personality... and Jun could somewhat identify with that... more than Kane could... more than anyone could.

"It's like yesterday... when we were here with the others." she said looking out the window over the courtyard.

"Yeah, and I burnt my room to shreads." he said folding his arms and leaning against the window.

Sam smiled. "Nothing a little hard work and powers couldn't fix."

He looked at her and she smiled. "I take it you haven't seen your room yet?" she winked at him.

"Why did you do that?" he asked.

She turned around and leaned against the window next to him. "I always hoped you'd come back.... it was... therapy... I guess." she said.

He looked at her and didn't know what to do or say...

"Thank you..." he said.

She looked at him for a while... she could feel that that thank you went a lot deeper than just for the room... but she decided to leave it alone... she leaned on his shoulder again... and just waited.... she didn't know what for... maybe for him to leave.... maybe for the world to end... but she waited anyways... not wanting to leave his side for a moment.

[Heero Darkangel]

Jun just stood there for a moment...he felt at peace with himself knowing that they were at the temple.....one place he thought that he'd never return to....

Memories of the kiss between him and Sam flooded back into his mind...although it didn't bother him..but it did make him feel strange.

He looked down at Sam who was resting peacefully on his shoulder...with a cruel but sarcastic smile it he used his shoulder with great force and bounced her head on his shoulder.

'OH SHIT!!,' she exclaimed as she was startled by the sudden jolt of his shoulder, she began rubbing her head, 'what was that for!!,'

Jun began laughing and she looked at him and punched him in the arm

'Don't do that!,' she said with a laugh in her outburst

'Hurt? did it?' smiled Jun with a devious look in his eyes

'Your cruel you know that..just cruel!,' she laughed but narrowed her eyes playfully

Jun then took a bow but still with his eyes fixed on her, 'Thank you,'

'Why you!!,' she exclaimed as she ran towards him, Jun took off, 'You get back here right now mister!,'

Juns laughing was haunting and demonic as he ran around behind a pillar, she ran around after him but fund he was gone

'Jun?....' she questioned as his laughing echoed throughout the room, 'Your starting to scare me.....'

At that moment Juns head appeared infront of hers and she screamed and lent up against the pillar

'Oh my god!,' she panted, he smiled at her. She looked up and saw that he was floating upside down, 'dammit don't do that!,'

Jun laughed but this time it wasn't haunting or demonic

'Scared?...of me?....,' he smiled sarcastically

'Shut up,' she laughed as she looked at him, 'and besides...you can be scary,'

'Thanks,' he smiled

His body then flipped around and he landed on the ground and down on one knee. He then stood up and ran his fingers through his hair

He then noticed that she was smiling at him. He looked at himself and then looked back at her, her eyes seem to trail over every inche of his half naked exsistence

'What?' he questioned

She then walked towards him and placed a gentle hand on his face

'I've missed you..so much,' she whispered, 'although...if i recall...you never joked around,'

'Yeah well....,' he shrugged and smiled

'Can I ask you something?' she questioned as she pulled her hand away

He looked at her

'What did you mean...by what you said that day you left?' she whispered as she hung her head down

'Sam....look at me.....,' whispered Jun, Sam then lifted her head and gazed into his Icy blue eyes which were filled with so much saddness and emptiness

'Why are your eyes...so sad?' she questioned again

'I couldn't stay with you.....because I knew...that my demon side would worsen...and that i may hurt you.......but......I wanted to be with you........I just don't understand....about your feelings.......I didn't understand why you had them......I was raised without the emotions you have.....and then when you kissed me.....I didn't know what to do......I have never been in a situation like that before.....and with my demon side merging with me.....I new i couldn't stay.....I had to find myself......in order...to live,' he explained, 'but within those years....i killed so many innocent souls........,'

Sam moved closer to Jun, he didn't flinch by her sudden movement as what he would of back in the past.

'I wanted to help you,' she whispered

'Thing is....I needed to get away.....I needed to do it on my own..I knew you wanted to help.....but I needed to do it on my own,' whispered Jun

He looked into her eyes and smiled

She then put her arms around him....his body tensed but then relaxed into hers and slowly he drew his arms around her and held her tightly. A tear rolled down her face, she held on to that moment for as long as she could....

Jun drew his head back and looked at her, at that moment....he kissed her...long and passionately......then drew his head back

'Although...i left.....there wasn't a moment where i forgot about you,' he whispered.

[Kairi]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]Night was falling upon the temple, as they all laid to rest. Unknown to them...Lyon sat in the distance...taking in the cool breeze of the night. The wind blowing through his hair; mingling with his wing. Sitting crosslegged...he brushed his palms gently across the cold blades of grass, feeling the mositure and life within.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]This is a beautiful night...[/COLOR] he thought to himself...the sky was lite up brightly with a vast amount of stars stretching beyond what the normal eye could see.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Love had been born this day.....oh Jun and Sam...my old friends. [/COLOR] he could only smile to himself at the thought. [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]I'm so happy for the two of you...its owed to you by the heavens above. [/COLOR]

Playing with the ground before him, he felt like a child again...lossing himself in the simple things...the solitary.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]I wonder how everyone will react to seeing me again...what my presence will bring. I guess tomorrow...will only tell. [/COLOR] glaring up into the sky...he felt the darkness coming swiftly...but not yet...not yet...[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Sam stared into his eyes... she didn't know what to say... her heart... beat so rapidly. She loved him... something about him changed... but whatever it was... it made everything between them even better... more than before.

"Do you mean that Jun? You never... forgot about me?" she said with tears in her eyes. He swallowed as he nodded. The feelings between them were rising. She laid her head back on his shoulder and cried... it was tears... of joy.... tears... of happiness. She truly loved him... having him here with her made everything that hurt... all the pain... go away. Knowing that he cared about her... made her so happy. She could be herself... and actually [i]like[/i] who she was... when she was around him. He allowed her that.

He ran his fingers through her hair as they stood there. She looked up at him and put her hand to his face and carressed his cheek with her fingers. He leaned down and kissed her again. She loved him... so much.

It was truly dark outside, and they had decided to go for a walk... the temple laid under the ground, but there were small openings, that allowed the moon to shine through, and cast a soft glow on the ground around them. With her powers, she was able to create a sub level in the earth... where the courtyard had been above ground... not thrived underneath. Soft waters flowed from the underbanks, and they sat there. Sam smiled at Jun, she was going to lay her head on his shoulder, but was afraid he'd bump her again. He laughed and laid her head on his shoulder, kissing her soft hair. She took his hand and held it, massaging his knuckles.

Jun stared out over the area... it was beautiful.

"Sam..." he said softly.

"Yes?" she said looking up at him. His gaze was serious as he looked out over the water.

"Doesn't... the fact that a demon is inside me... bother you?" he said looking at her.

She looked into his blue eyes and a tear fell down her cheeks. "Jun... when I look at you... I see... the man I love.... not a monster as you seem to see yourself as."

"But what can I offer you Sam? What do I have.... You deserve the best.... but I don't know if I can give you that..." he said.

She looked at him and then smiled as she laid her head on his shoulder again and just played with his fingers. "Jun.... you being here with me... holding me... showing me these feelings... gives me everything I ever wanted..."

"But you deserve the best Sam..."

"And being loved... by the only one I have ever truly loved... [i]is[/i] the best you can give me Jun." she said softly. He stared at her for a while and brought her hand to his lips and kissed it tenderly. She looked at him and kissed the inside of his hand and wrapped his arm around her as she wrapped her arms around him. She loved him so much.... and she would show him... that he does indeed... make her happy...

[Heero Darkangel]

Jun looked at her and he stood up and stretched out his wings. Sam stood up and looked at him

'Whats wrong?' she asked looking worried

he placed a gentle hand on her face and then kissed her passionately

'I just need to think about things...ok....i'm not use to all of this....and i need to think, ok, so i'm just going flying, i'll be back.....I just need time...to come to terms with it all,' he explained

'Ok,' she smiled, 'But please come back,'

'I won't be gone for long,' he smiled as he stretched out his wings again and dove down from the side and rose up into the sky.

Jun flew around making sure to keep the temple in view

[COLOR=Blue]Something wrong?[/COLOR] questioned Osiris who appeared beside him

'I don't understand.....it all,' whispered Jun

[COLOR=Blue]She will help you to[/COLOR]. spoke Osiris,

'I don't see what she see's in me....all i ever was....was a bastard...towards any kind of feelings she showed me........and then there's my demon side.....,' replied Jun

Osiris laughed. [COLOR=Blue]Jun, she loves you for who you are....not what you are...remember that.[/COLOR]

'I will try.....I just don't want to hurt her.....i mean did you see what i did to Kala...,' said Jun

[COLOR=Blue]I am here to help you Jun.[/COLOR] smiled Osiris as they then stopped in mid-air and looked around

'It's just hard.......' whispered Jun

[COLOR=Blue]You will understand in time. Just give it time.[/COLOR] smiled Osiris as he placed a gentle hand on Jun's shoulder. Jun just sighed. Jun rubbed the back of his neck as they carried on flying.

Sam smiled as she looked at the water in front of her. She knew he would be back.... she trusted him.... part of loving... was trusting him completely... putting her life... in his hands... and she was willing to do that... whatever the outcome would be.

She placed her hand in the cool bank and circled her fingers in the ripples she formed. She was truly happy... being given the chance... to help him.. to understand love. She wanted to help him more than anything... and once Sam put her mind to something... nothing would change it.

She looked into the sky and laid back in the grass. She waited for him... she knew he would never leave her again... he cared about her too much... and she loved him. She would help him understand... and once he did... the decision would be made. For better... or for worse....

She smiled... whatever the outcome... being given... the chance.... would make her strong forever... being trusted by him... would give her the strength to live....

[Redemption]

[FONT=Times New Roman]Kala stared out of her window, again in her own world. Some of what Sam had said to her hit the mark, but others just passed by her as nothing more than words. It was hard for her to admit that she was wanted and needed, when throughout her life, she had been shunned and deserted. Althought she couldn't deny that she liked the feeling, she was scared to get too close to anyone, in case they did turn her away. From day one, Kala had always been a pessimist.

The stars twinkled brightly. She looked at them, trying to feel what about them she admired so much. Was it that they moved on but never changed? Was it that they were always there and never left her behind? Or was it because Sam said she was a light for the group, just like the stars were for her? For some reason they comforted her.

Just like Kane did ...

Kala gave a small smile to herself. She was glad that someone was comfortable with her, even though she wasn't comfortable with herself. It was nice to know that someone cared for her that much to defend her in times of need.

Walking out of her room, Kala strolled down the corridor, searching for Kane's room. At this present moment, she wanted some comfort from him. The Destroyer and his two heralds were terrifying to her, and she needed someone to be with. Otherwise she'd have nightmares.

Heavy footsteps echoed down the corridor. Jack's figure appeared at the end to which Kala was headed. She froze. She didn't want another encounter like the one she had with Jun. Shivers of fear ran down her spine. Never had she'd been so scared in her life. Melting into the shadows, Kala did the best she could to hide from him. However, Jack stopped almost immediately after he took one pace past her.

" I know you're there Kala..."

Kala squeaked. She started to panic. She didn't want another episode like the one with Jun. The 'fight or flight' instinct then kicked it. Using her powers, she disappeared from the shadows and sprinted down the hallway, slowing time so that Jack couldn't do anything to prevent her from leaving.

Breathing heavily, Kala then set time back to normal. She found herself in front of Kane's room. The door was shut but that wouldn't hinder her. Again, using her powers to speed up time, Kala entered Blaze's room and hid in the nearest available spot. Kala looked over to Kane's bed. He was sleeping peacefully in it. A small smile came to Kala's lips. He looked so peaceful, sleeping there, no nightmares haunting him in the realm of dreams.

Slowly, Kala crept over to his bedside and looked over him. Warmth came to her eyes and her soul. She was just happy standing there, watching him sleep.

Then suddenly, Kane's arm flew out and grabbed Kala's arm. She yelped with fright. kane turned over to see that the person who was standing over him was Kala. Kala sank to her knees, tears welling up in her eyes.

" Please ......please don't hurt me Kane....."[/FONT]

[Heero Darkangel]

Jun flew around abit more and then finally he returned to Sams side. She sat up and looked at him and he smiled

'Are you alright?' she asked as she watched him. His body glistened in the moonlight which beamed down and casted an eerie glow over everything around them...but she felt safe.

Jun gave a slight nod and sat down beside her

She gently grabbed his hand and with her free hand she turned his face to hers

'I am here for you...just know that,' she smiled as she kissed him and then lent against him, his arms were warm, 'By the way....ah....where's your shirt?'

Jun looked at Sam with a raised brow, 'Oh...i don't wear shirts...they're too annoying,'

Sam laughed and Jun just smiled. Deep in his mind....visions of what he had done while becoming one with Lucifer....danced. Torturing his soul.....

'You should get some sleep, ' smiled Jun as he stood up and so did she.

They then walked back into the palace and Jun walked Sam to her room.

'Wait....do you sleep?' she asked

'I am still part human,' he smiled

'Oh ...right,' she said as she kissed him and then watched him go to his room.

Jun hadn't been able to sleep properly for years...although...even before he merged with Lucifer..he hardly slept. He lay on his bed in his boxers with his arms behind his head and he looked at the ceiling

He closed his eyes...and the visions came back to him....visions which seemed to follow him...where ever he went....visions....he couldn't let go of.....a past...untold.

He blinked open his eyes and rolled over onto his side

'Damn you Kelthor....' he whispered as he remembered the callings from kelthor...the way he called...the way he tortured his mind....even though he was dead....it still felt as though it all happened yesterday

[Blayze]

Kane lay on his bed, holding Kala's arm, his eyes filled with anger. He saw Kala kneeling on the floor, crying, and his gaze softened.

"Oh, Kala, it's you," he said, getting out of bed and putting a shirt on. Kala wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Don't worry, Kala," he said, "I wouldn't hurt you. You're the only one in this group who understands me."

"Sam seems to," replied Kala shakily.

"She thinks I'm a child, that I'm too immature to take these responsibilites. Jun thinks I'm a stupid child, and Jack thinks I'm completely inferior to him. I'm glad that we found you, Kala."

"Kane," she said softly, "I'm scared. I'm afraid of the Destroyer, and his heralds. They terrify me. I've never been in a situation like this before."

"Neither have I, Kala. I think all of us are scared. But it must be hard for you. You were thrown into this whole thing. Jun and Sam have been through it before, and Jack and I have training to deal with this kind of thing."

"Yes. I don't know what I can do, and that scares me a little. I have control over this abundant energy source that is also the most important thing in the universe. If my powers even go slightly wrong, I could upset the entire timestream."

"I get that too," replied Kane, "My powers relate to gravity, which keeps the entire eco-system alive. If I were to lose control, my powers could flip the Earth's gravitational field, and destroy all life on Earth."

"Maybe we could train together a little tomorrow," suggested Kala.

"Yeah, I'd like that," replied Kane, "But for now we both need some sleep."

"Kane?"

"Yes?"

"Can I sleep in here tonight? I don't want to spend my first night here alone."

"Of course you can, Kala. Here, you can have the bed, and I'll sleep on the floor."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I'm used to sleeping rough. Don't worry about it." Kane spread out sheets and pillows on the floor and got into his makeshift bed. Kala got into the bed.

"Goodnight, Kane," she said.

"Goodnight, Kala." And they both drifted off to sleep, each comforted by the other's presence.

It was 6 in the morning when she got her rude awakening. She was the Earth's master, and yet, she still had trouble waking up in the mornings.

"Are you just going to sleep the day away Sam?" Jun asked sitting on the edge of her bed.

She opened one eye and looked at him. "Damn, I hate morning people." she said as she pulled the covers over her some more.

"Come on, everybody will be waking soon. Especially the monk." he said.

"Jun... give him a break..." she said sitting up and stretching.

"What... I didn't mean anything by it..." he said. "Though, I must say.... he and Kala must be pretty close. He let her take his bed last night as he slept on the floor." he said.

Sam smiled. "Kane needs someone to talk to... he can't talk to me anymore."

"Why?" Jun asked looking at her.

She smiled as she stood up. "I guess it's because I still treat him like my student.... I worry about him Jun."

"He is only three years younger Sam... he's not a child."

"I know.... but it's so hard... he's got so much on his plate.... and I don't even think [i]he[/i] realizes it..." she said.

"Even if he did Sam... it's his future... his problems... you can't constantly be the "mother" and take them away from him." he said.

"I know... it's... hard though... not to be protective..." she said. Jun looked at her and smiled. She turned her head.

"So are you going to let me take my shower, or am I going to have to shove you out of this room?" she said raising a brow his way.

He smiled and left the room and waited outside. It was still dark outside, mainly because of the covering above them all.

Sam came out and yawned. He looked at her and laughed.

"Oh shut up.... mornings have never been good to me." she said as looked at him. He smiled warmly at her, and she walked over to him and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her as she did the same... just being with him sent her emotions flying.

"So what do you do for breakfast?" he said, taking her hand and walking to the old dining hall.

"Anything I guess... we've always had a lot of stuff here..." she said.

They heard running footsteps above them and Jun looked at Sam. Sam ran down the hall and pulled out her daggers as she reached the top. She looked out and saw 5 demons... they didn't know what dwelled beneath the ground they stepped on, which was good.... very good. She ran behind a tree and watched as they searched for any teems of life to feed off of. She felt the forces leave the earth as they preyed upon it's power. It left her feeling weaker.... her tie to the earth.... was that strong...

She looked over and saw Jun just walk straight past her. "Jun, what are you doing??" she said trying to pull him back.

He looked at her and placed his hand on her mouth. "Stay here." he said.

She watched as he confronted the demon..

"Lucifer..." they hissed. "We've been searching for you..."

"I am not Lucifer..." Jun said staring at the five of them.

"You bear his markings... his [i]soul[/i]" said one.

Jun laughed at them condescendingly.

"Leave this Realm... there is nothing to gain but the loss of your own souls." he said looking at them.

"The Destroyer has freed us, Lucifer... we follow his orders now. And his orders... were to bring you back to Hell where you belong..." another said.

He grabbed the one by the throat and stared into their eyes. "You tell the Destroyer.... that Jun sends a message...." he used his powers and burned the demon alive in his hand.

"Tell him.... that Lucifer wishes him a long and painful journey to his grave."

They hissed and each disappeared as they came. Sam walked over to him.

"Jun..."

"First Kelthor..." he whispered. He looked at her and she could see the pain in his eyes. "I won't be enslaved again..." he said.

She looked into his eyes and wrapped her arms around him... trying to show him that she was there for him....

He lifted her chin and kissed her softly, she put her head on his shoulder as he held her close.

[Blayze]

Kane awoke and went outside. Kala was still asleep. Jun and Sam were outside. Sam's blades were drawn, and Jun was panting, with exhaustion or rage or a combination of the two.

"Sam?" said Kane, "Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine, Kane. Don't worry about us," she replied. There were some demons retreating across the grass in front of the temple. They were strange, new demons, who seemed like they were searching for something, or someone...

But Kane didn't worry about them. A huge sphere of red energy appeared in the sky, and grew until it was like a sun in the sky. Energy burst forth from it, and then it disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared, leaving a single figure in its place.

The Destroyer had found them.

He saw them and laughed. His eyes were piercing, even from this distance, and his cloak seemed to absorb light, creating an aura of darkness around him.

"I have brought a few friends along with me! You might know some of them, Sam!" he boomed.

Another sphere of red energy appeared in the sky, and a flock of beings poured out of it. They were all humanoid, but with darkness shrouding them. They were high demons, the evil side of humans. There was Sam's demon from before, grinning evilly at Sam. Zack's demon was there as well, now given a new form. Jun's wasn't there, as he had merged with his demon. A figure who looked a lot like Kane, although he was dressed in black, with red eyes and black wings was there as well, next to a demon who looked a lot like Kala.

"The demons! They are here to make your lives hell!" boomed the Destroyer, "But to business. It is time I showed you a taste of what will happen if you try and oppose me!"

He drew energy into his hands, and fired a single beam of crimson into the temple. It blasted through the wall and directly into the centre of the temple. The walls began to crack, and red light shone through. The temple began to collapse.

"Kala!" shouted Kane. He ran into the rapidly collapsing temple, and found his own room. Kala was sitting on the bed, shaking as the ceiling fell. Kane ran through the rubble and got to Kala. A piece of rubble fell and struck her on the head. It knocked her out. Kane picked her up and ran out of the room, avoiding the rubble as it fell. He ran down the corridor as it collapsed behind him and moved out onto the balcony. He jumped off, landing perfectly on his feet. He turned around and saw the temple fall, the stone break into dust as it hit the floor.

Soon, the temple was lying in pieces on the floor, and a cloud of dust rose from the remains. Kane placed Kala down on the floor, and his rage took over. The Destroyer looked at him, and laughed coldly. He raised his hands, and the air around the Destroyer collapsed in on itself, creating a vortex, which sucked all the air in. The Destroyer saw this attempt on his life and snorted. He closed the vortex, and lifted Kane to his face, thirty feet above the ground.

"If you ever try anything like that again, you vermin, I will rip her limb from limb. Do you understand?"

Kane spat in the Destroyer's face. He wiped it off, and threw Kane down to the ground. He tried to activate his powers to cushion his fall, but they wouldn't work. He hit the floor on his front, and felt his ribs crack. The Destroyer disappeared, as did the demons. Sam ran over to where Kane was lying, and turned him over. She felt his chest.

"I think you have four or five broken ribs, Kane. We'll have them fixed in a few hours, though. Jun, can Osiris help?"

"Yeah, I would have thought so."

As Osiris fixed his ribs, all Kane could think about was his utter hatred for the Destroyer...

[Kairi]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]All of the evil versions of the elementalists began to charge at the group on the ground. Jun and Jack prepared themselves for battle as Osiris continued to heal both Kala and Kane from their injuries while Sam looked up and stared at her long lost demon, the memories flooding back to her.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]STOP![/COLOR] cried out a voice from beyond the rubble of the fallen temple. Everyone turned there gaze towards it when a angel, glowing in an aqua-blue aura walked from behind it.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Now now Destroyer...isn't it rude to come to a mans home without inviting himself. [/COLOR] the angels voice was calm and direct, staring up at the warlord hovering above.

''.....Lyon....'' Juns gaze was in complete shock...as was Samanthas. He was just the same as he was when he departed from them. His white kamono, with his long blue hair and one white wing on his left. The same calm and sensitive voice as before.

''I don't have time for your interferance Lyon! I warned you...'' the Destroyer roared.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]As I warned you friend...a pitty you came with such a weak group. You're a fool...more foolish than I've come to believe. You first send your two generals to persuade the elementals...as they feel one by one to my hand. [/COLOR] Lyon definitly hit a soft spot, the Destroyers pride...you could see the hatred burning in his eyes as Lyon continued to stay come.

''Weak group you say...I have my fellow elementals here as well. The demon reincarnations of the old elementals.''

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]As we have the angelic reincarnations of old!...so please...do not threaten us with such petty threats again. Lyons voice became serious...angered at such disrespect he showed to his friends and to himself. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]And if you think your presence is of any accord...they have me now by there sides...as well as my own loyalists....you may come out now.[/COLOR] suddenly...an entire army of angels appeared surrounding the entire area. There light seemed to light up the entire plain in a brilliant showing of power.

The demons that came through the portal halted in their tracks, and looked down upon the army that was before them...who then retreated to the side of their master.

''You fools...fight!''

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]They can't...because you haven't trained them enough...simply having powers means nothing. As these elementals here will be taught as well. Now leave...before I have you and your precious demons saked with my vengence.[/COLOR]

A dark portal opened in back of the destroyer and his minions and dissapeared into the void. As instructed by the slight nod of Lyon's head...the army of angels dissapeared as well.

Everyone was in complete shock as both Kala and Kane rose to their feet...Jack was the first to great Lyon who was walking towards them.

''And who might you be...'' Jack's arms crossed in protest to the angels advancements towards the group. Lyons face was calm, a sense of friendship and peace was upon his face. But Jack didn't buy it.

''His name is Lyon...'' replied Jun, walking with Samantha at his side.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]It's good too see you again Jun....Samantha...you two have changed. [/COLOR]...Lyons gaze turned towards Kane walking beside Kala...with Osiris close behind. [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]It's been a long time Kane...I'm glad to see that you are well. [/COLOR]

''You know him Kane?'' Kala questioned...trying to look at Kane's eyes, who were fixed upon Lyons.

''He's the water element...a fellow monk of our order.''

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Indeed....and you must be Kala. [/COLOR] as Lyon bowed slightly in respect to her presence. [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]And the great Jack...master of steel, I'm honored...[/COLOR] stretching forth a hand of friendship.

Both Sam and Jun were trying to move in closer and try to speak with Lyon...[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]dont worry Samantha...Jun, we'll talk later...for now...I see that you all are in need of a home. No problem...me and Kane will be honored to have you stay at our temple on the coast of Asia...we'll be safe there for the time being till The Destroyer grows a back bone. [/COLOR]

Jun nodded in agreement...and with a blink of Lyon's eyes...they found themselves on yet another beach. The water was a light blue, the fish clearly seen in through...with the sun beating down on them; with a temple shown up upon a moutain side, with a town at its base. [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

After everyone situated themselves in their new room, Sam and Jun went over to talk with Lyon.

"Lyon.." she said giving him a hug. Jun smiled.

"It's good to know you're alive, Lyon." Jun said.

"It's good to see you smiling." Lyon said as he hugged Sam. Sam laughed and stood over with Jun.

"And don't think I know.... I've been watching over you all..." he said smiling. Sam looked up at Jun and slid her hand in his. He looked at her and smiled.

"Now if you'll excuse me... we do have so much to catch up on, but I'd like to talk with the other students first..." he said.

"Be my guest, Lyon..." Sam said. Lyon nodded at them and walked on by.

Sam looked at Jun and they both walked outside, hand in hand.

They sat there by the beach together. Jun's arm was around her as they watched the waves... she loved his arm around her... for so long she wanted to feel his touch... for so long... she wanted him to show her warmth and feeling... actions... straight from the heart. He had hidden them from her for so long, because he wasn't sure what would happen if he allowed his emotions to go free... love scared him... and no doubt... it still scared him. She looked up at him and turned his face toward hers, and kissed him gently on his lips. He looked at her and stared in her eyes as she did the same... being with him... made her emotions rise.... because it was [i]him[/i] not someone else looking into her eyes... holding her.... kissing her... she knew.... a part of love is finding... that ONE person... that ONE special... person... to where you think about them... and your heart leaps out of your chest, you live the coming days for that one person... you live... and die... for that person... you felt enslaved by that one.... but only to know... that they [i]too[/i] .... felt the same way.... and to be enslaved by one another... was to be one.

He leaned his head down and kissed her again. She wrapped her hand around his neck, carressing his neck lovingly with her fingers. He.... made her happy... in ways no one else could.... he made her smile... when there was no reason to be happy... he made her whole.... when all her life... she had felt broken... having him in her life... made the impossible... seem possible... as if the answers she searched for.... were in him.... and just having him by her side, would make each and every painful day of her life... liveable.... to where she counted on him... to be there with her... she put her life in his hands... just as he was beginning to do to her... she swore her life to him in that moment.... she would do all she could to protect him... to make him happy... and to be loved.... would to know... that the same... was being done on his end.

[FONT=Times New Roman]Kala looked around in awe. The temple was so beautiful. And the crystal clear light blue water lapping at the white beach's edge was so perfect. Kala felt a great sense of joy run through her. She suddenly heard footsteps behind her. Whirling around, she saw Kane approaching her. Kala felt a shudder of an unknown feeling run down her spine. Kane approached her with a smile.

" Kane?" Kala said softly, looking at him in the face for the first time. She was never the one to speak first, or to look at their faces when she spoke. But slowly, Kala was starting to come out of her shell.
" Yes Kala?"
" Thank you....for saving me."
Kane just smiled and gave her a hug. Kala wasn't expecting it, but it was what she wanted nonetheless. She snugged into his shoulder. Kane was a little shocked at Kala's nuzzle but all he could do was smile about it. They parted after about ten minutes.

" Do you want to come down to the beach with me?" Kala asked, feeling rather bold. Yet another look of shock on Kane's face.
" Sure."
Both of them took off their shoes. Kala took Kane's hand and ran down to the beach. She wanted to feel the sand between her toes and the water lap at her feet. For once in her life, Kala was excited. She let go of Kane and ran into the water, splashing and mucking about. A huge smile could be seen on her face. It was like she really enjoyed herself.

" She looks very happy," came a voice from behind Kane. Kane jumped and turned around to see who was talking to him. It was Lyon.
" Yeah, she does. I've never seen her like this before. Kala's always be so timid and scared. It's a nice change," Kane replied. Lyon smiled. Kala waded deeper into the water, up to her waist. She didn't care that her skirt was being wet. This place felt like paradise. And most of all, it felt safe.[/FONT]

Juns mind was confused....his heart beat faster within that moment....as he looked at her...he kissed her passionately and then drew away and stood up.....he looked down and saw Kala in the water.

'I wont be long....there is something I must do,' he smiled at her but she could see the saddness in his eyes

She gave him a nod and he flew down to where Kala stood, she spun around and nearly froze when she noticed that it was Jun

'Please......don't be afraid,' he whispered as he looked at her.

Kala looked at him....she could sense the saddness and all other mixed emotions.

'Please don't hurt me...' she whispered

'No...I promise i wont,' he said, 'I just came to apologize....I did not mean to scare you...nor did i mean to hurt you.......I just don't like it when i'm being watched.....,'

Kala looked at him and slowly...feeling untreatened by him she boldly walked out of the water and over to him

'I did not mean to......do that to you...I was just seeing if Sarah was ok,' whispered Kala

'I understand your worry....and it was perfectly normal....esspecially when......,' whispered Jun as he looked at himself, 'I know you all see me as a monster......but I was once human....'

Kala looked at him, she noticed a deep saddness and empiness in his Icy blue eyes

'how did you become.....like that?' questioned Kala

'It's a long story...and one I'm not fond of telling,' replied Jun

'Why don't you...unmerge with him...or something?' she questioned

'Because....it is now a solid bond.....one that can never be broken....he has become me....and I have become him.....I didn't ask for this....nor did i want it......but..it happened......,' whispered Jun as he looked at Kala and smiled, 'I'm glad that you are all here......,'

With that Jun walked away down the beach, as he walked along the beach Kane ran down towards him

'What did you do to her!,' he roared

Jun spun around and stopped him in his tracks

'I did nothing,' growled Jun

'Your a demon!.....you can't be trusted!,' growled Kane

'And I see niether can you,' growled Jun

Kane looked at him

'Kane!..No!,' cried out Kala as she ran up beside him, Sam also ran down from the hill

Kane looked at kala in confusion

'He just apologized....thats all,' smiled Kala

Kane looked at Jun and then looked at Kala

'I maybe a demon and a monster to you all.....but I am also human....with a soul and a heart,' growled Jun as his eyes narrowed, 'and Kane, I for one don't think you are a stupid-boy....you are a grown man....and hoped...a friend....although.....friendship...looks as though its a long way off...so excuse me if i don't fit the description for being one of you or even a friend....so i'm sorry i can't be perfect,'

Jun then looked distantly at Kane and walked away, leaving them to be.....he had more depressing matters to worry about other than being viewed as a monster to them....he didn't feel like being judged by those who didn't know him...and right now...he was sick of it....all his life..he was judged..and he grew tired of it

Jun sat down about a mile from them...his eyes stared out over the sea....he knew the demons would come back for him.....he could feel it.....The Destroyer wanted him......and he knew....that soon...he'd be calling....he couldn't go back to being enslaved, his heart sank deeper inside of him.....

'Dammit,' he whispered

as he lay back on the sand, his mind......in a world of pain...sorrow....and worry.

[Blayze]

Kane knew that Jun wasn't a monster, and that he shouldn't be judged. He needed to do something for him, and Sam, and Lyon to prove that he was a strong part of the team, and most of all, their friend. He looked around from his seat on the golden sands, and saw the ruins of the temple. Maybe he could do something with them...

He got up, and walked up the beach to the remains of the temple. The rocks were broken apart, but he felt as though they would be able to go back together. He held his hands out, and lowered the gravity around the temple. The rubble began to float in the air, and he pushed the pieces back together. They didn't quite go together as they had before, but he was making a new temple. That would prove that he was a team player, and most of all it would show that everything the Destroyer did could be undone.

Within the hour, the temple was whole again, and Kane lay on the grass, exhausted. His nose was bleeding from the strain of all that work, but he was happy. He felt satisfied with what he had created.

Sam and Jun ran up to him, seeing the temple as a whole again, and stood there in awe.

"Kane?" asked Sam, "Did you do this?"

"Yeah," said Kane, laughing, feeling giddy from the change in blood pressure to his head, "I thought it would be something nice for you to come back to."

"It is, Kane. I love it," said Jun, smiling. Lyon and Kala came up the beach, and saw the temple.

"Oh my God!" exclaimed Kala, "Kane! You did this?"

"Yeah." He sat up, and turned to Kala. "You like?"

"I love it!" they all ran inside, except Lyon. He sat next to Kane on the grass.

"That was some display of power there, Kane. Are you sure your body can handle it?"

"I'm just a little light-headed, is all. Don't worry about me, Lyon, I'm fine."

"Just remember to create boundaries for yourself when using your power, okay?"

Kane nodded, and wiped the blood from his lip, then got up and went inside. The inside of the temple was better than ever. Vines made by Sam lashed along the walls, flowering in the dim light, and the torches along the corridors were all lit up by Jun.

The training area was even better than before, too. It was a huge, wide-open space, with padded floors and walls. They all congregated in here, and Jun said:

"Why don't we christen the new training area by getting in some combat practice?"

So they all began to practice.

[I]Meanwhile...[/I]

The Destroyer sat on his throne, with Dawn and Dusk at his sides. Demons were flocked around his throne.

"I will transfer some of my power into you, my high demons, and then you shall be able to defeat the angels. When you die, the power will come straight back to me, so there is no risk for me. Are you willing?"

A cheer went up through the crowd.

"Excellent." He created a ball of red lightning in front of him, and then it split, bolts of energy going into every one of the demons. Their eyes glowed red, and they felt more powerful than ever.

"Now go, seek out the angels, and destroy them!" he boomed. The demons left his throne room, seeking out the angels they must destroy.

"Dusk, Dawn, go with them. I want to see you kill Lyon. If you do not, then ensure that another demon can!"

"Yes, my master," they said in unison.

"Good. But leave Kane to me. He will be a most amusing distraction..."

Dusk and Dawn left, flying towards the temple.

"It is almost time for them to find out who they are really facing..."

Jun was truely amazed by what Kane had done for them....the temple stood magnificently...

Jun looked at Kane and gave him a smile and a slight nod of the head.

Jun smiled at Sam who began filled the room with vines and flowers.

They were all talking amongst themselves.

Jun was glad that Lyon was stil alive....Lyon stayed outside with Kane for abit.

As Jun walked around Osiris appeared beside him

[COLOR=Blue]Beautiful...isn't it?[/COLOR] spoke Osiris

'Yes it is....' smiled Jun, 'But he doesn't have to prove anything....we already know he has a good heart,'

[COLOR=Blue]He is a good soul...all of them are[/COLOR]. smiled Osiris, [COLOR=Blue]We all have much to learn...and you should let them know whats happening to you....[/COLOR]

'I don't feel like being judged at this moment,' whispered Jun

[COLOR=Blue]They don't see you as a monster...and they don't judge you[/COLOR]. said Osiris

'Yeah well.....it's hard to stop thinking that when...you more or less belong to the darker side..,' said Jun as he looked as Osiris

[COLOR=Blue]Jun..your too hard on yourself[/COLOR]. whispered Osiris

Jun placed a hand on Osiris's shoulder, 'You and I both know...that you can't be there all the time, what happens if....I do to them what I did....back then....The Destroyer is strong....stronger than Kelthor, there isn't a moment in time where it never crosses my mind...of what Kelthor did....and sooner or later...it may happen again, they'll be back.....,'

[COLOR=Blue]And i'll be right beside you...you know that.[/COLOR] smiled Osiris

Jun smiled at Osiris and then walked away from him and went out into the courtyard just for time alone...

He walked over to a rose bush. at that moment...something stirred within him....evil was coming..and coming fast

Jun spun around to see Dusk, Dawn and a horde of demons...the Destroyers followers. flying towards them. Jun roared as he took to the sky

'Ah why look who it is.....Lucifer,' smiled Dawn

'I'm not Lucifer...,' growled Jun

'Our master has told us about you......why do you side with them?,' growled Dawn

Jun gave a slight demonic smile, 'Because I choose to be, I do what i want...I don't take orders from you...and not even your master,'

'Well...Lucifer....we should see about that, our master is powerful...soon...you will be where you belong,' smiled Dawn

'I will not be enslaved again!!!,' roared Jun as he flew at Dawn, dawn dodged Jun, and lunged at him from behind, his claws dug into Juns back....dark red blood flowed from the wounds as Jun let out a piercing cry which everyone could hear....

'You will obey our master...I'll see to that,' growled Dawn, at that moment they were both engulfed in a blue flame, Dawn screamed as it felt like ice and quickly pulled away, both their breathing was heavy.

Jun looked down to see the others had ran out of the temple

'More have come to play....Demons attack their worthless lives,' roared Dawn as Dusk led them on.

'Shit!,' roared Jun as he took off towards them, Lyon quickly engaged Dusk while the others began to fight with the demons.

Dawn growled and chased Jun, Jun could see that demons were about to srike Kane, Sam and Kala from behind. He flew as fast as he could

'Kane!! behind you!!,' roared Jun, Kane, Kala and Sam spun around to see demons nearly on top of them. Jun suddenly flew at them and pushed them to the ground, the demons ripped into Jun and took him up into the sky, trying desperately to tear him apart. more blood seeped out of deep wounds caused by the massive blows. They tore at his wings

'JUN!!,' screamed Sam as they watched Jun fall into the sea., 'NOOOO,' she screamed again as the ground shook violently, Kane tried to stop Jun from falling but was cut off by a horde that flew at them.

Jun sank into the water..his body was battered and bleeding..suddenly his eyes opened...they were fully red, a black aura engulfed his form. He smiled as he then bursted out of the water.

'Oh my god...' whispered Sam, Juns form was demonic and sinister as he floated in mid-air...it frightened her....His eyes thirsted for blood and the kill.

Jun suddenly flew at Dawn and collided with him, they began fighting viciously and menacingly...both in a battle of power, hunger, killing.....hatered

Solar beams were blasted at Jun but he blocked them with a black flame which rose from his body

'Why do you fight for them!!,' roared Dawn

'Because I want to!...I will not serve your master!!,' roared Jun

'we will see about that....Lucifer,' growled Dawn as they collided again with Juns power increasing.

Kane used his gravity to crush all of the demons into the ground, leaving Jun fighting Dawn in the sky.

"Jun's out of control..." Lyon said. Sam looked at Lyon and knew what he meant... if he did not control himself, his demon would take over.

"Kane, on my signal, pull Dawn to the ground, we will kill him..." she said staring at Kane. Kane nodded. She looked at Lyon, and he already knew what her plan was. He would drown Dawn as Kane held him to the ground. But in order for all this to be done, they needed to get Jun away from Dawn... and Sam would try her hardest.

Using her powers, she thrusted herself up into the fight, pulling a crazed Jun away from Dawn. At that moment, they carried out the plan, and everything worked just as planned... excpet Jun was still going mad.

"Move aside!!!" he screamed.

"No Jun... come back to us..." she said holding onto him tightly. They were on the ground not too far away from the others.

"MOVE!" he screamed at her as he pushed her away and got to his feet. She hit the tree and stared at him as he was about to fly back over to them all. She lunged at him and spun him around to stare at her.

She closed her eyes using her powers, to heal his wounds on his body that were hurting him... causing him pain. She then slowed time once again, which took a great deal of her energy as she stared at Jun. Her hands were on his face, and he looked at her... his eyes, slowly returning to their normal state. She looked into his eyes and removed her hands.

"Stay with me, Jun... don't ever leave me..." she said.

Jun looked at Sam, something about her.....made his sensors become even more tragic....a feeling of want rippled through his blood. His mind was plagued by many thoughts.....thoughts that made his head ache.

He frowned and then suddely walked back inside the temple. Black flames still rose from his form and his eyes were colder than ever.

Sam looked at everyone.

'Whats wrong with him?,' questioned Kane

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]'Thats a long story....and one....I think only Jun can tell,'[/COLOR] smiled Lyon

Osiris looked at Kala, Kane, Jack, Lyon and Sam. he then took off after him

[COLOR=Blue]Jun.[/COLOR] called Osiris

'Leave me be ANGEL!,' roared Jun as his eyes grew red again and he turned around and flew at Osiris lifted him off the ground and slammed him against the wall.

[COLOR=Blue]Jun please...calm down. It is me...Osiris.[/COLOR] whispered The Angel calmly. Jun looked at him menacingly but then saw the fear in Osiris's eyes

Jun rested his weary head upon Osiris's shoulder and then let him go.

'I'm sorry,' Jun whispered, 'I just need to be alone,'

Jun then walked to his room.

Sam and the others ran in to see what happened

[COLOR=Blue]It's ok[/COLOR]. smiled Osiris as they all watched Jun disappear into his room.

'I'll go see if he's ok,' said Sam

'But what if...' began Kala

'No...he wont, I know him all too well, I'll be ok, just do what you feel you need to do,' smiled Sam as she walked to the door and they walked back outside and carried on with what they were doing.

Jun had just finished a cold shower. His mind was mixed with so many emotions...he didn't know what to do. The shower clamed him only to an extent......He closed his eyes......all he could hear was Sams words......

He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist and walked out of the bathroom. He walked over to the fire place and lit it up.

He then sat down infront of the fire place and watched the flames burn before him. At that moment a knock fell upon the door. Jun knew who it was. his eyes narrowed as the door opened. He stood up.

'Jun?' Sam whispered into the room as she walked in and closed the door. He then looked at her. The room was dark apart from the light which came from the fire place.

'Jun..I want to help you...' she whispered again

At that moment Jun flew at her and bailed her up against the door. He was only inches from her, she could feel his hot breath on her skin. he smiled and lent lent to one side and locked the door. He then looked at her.....there again were the feelings....the emotions he hid deep within him rose again.....feelings he hid along time ago.

He then turned from her trying to clam himself...he walked over by the fire place...she did something to him.....something he didn't understand....something......which he had never felt before.

Sam walked over to him and grabbed his hand....for some reason...they were cold

'Jun...let me help you...talk to me....or do something,' she whispered softly

Jun looked at her, 'I can't hurt you....'

'Please...let me help you,'

'HOW!,' roared Jun suddenly, Sam could see the torture in his eyes and before he could say anything...she grabbed him and kissed him deeply and passionately. Jun was stunned and nearly fell over......he quickly pulled away and looked at her, his face was in shock...but it wasn't from the kiss.....it went deeper than that

Sam put her head down....hurt by his actions, she then walked away to the door

Jun wanted her.....he wanted the pain gone...the loneliness....everything....he wanted gone...suddenly he flew at her.

Sam was just about to grab the door handle when suddenly she heard his wings, she spun around just intime to be forced against the wall. Jun pinned her arms to the wall as he kissed her hungrily.....his body tingled as she kissed him back....Jun suddenly pulled away again....and looked at her.....she could tell he was truely scared....

'I.......,' he whispered

She walked towards him and made him look at her, his eyes held much saddness and pain.....but something glistened more within his eyes when he looked at her......

Sam looked at him... his eyes.... she could feel.... his need.... "Jun...." she whispered. He looked at her as she put her hand to his face. "You don't need to say a thing... these feelings... do not need explanation..." she said softly.

"But I don't understand why I feel... this way.... what it is... that makes me do this..."

She touched his chest and with her other hand, brought her lips to his ear as she whispered softly. "Your heart... makes you have those desires.... no one can explain matters of the heart...." she said. She blew softly in his ear which made him shudder. She trailed her hands all over his chest, stopping at his mid section.

"The heart... makes you want something... that seems... completely unreasonable to the other senses...." she said as she kissed his neck. He shook in her arms and she looked at him once more.

"Jun... you're not alone.... not anymore..." she said as she stared into his eyes again.

Jun looked at her, his body shievered and his heart beat faster....it was an overwhelming feeling....Her hands carried on down to the towel, he felt it become loose and then dropped to the ground.....he wanted her....he needed her....his heart beat even faster

'Are you ok?' she whispered gently as she caressed his chest....and with that he pulled her in closer and kissed her hungrily once again.....she could feel him trembling as his hand slipped down over her chest...he stopped and then quickly withdrew his hand and rubbed the back of her neck..

'It's ok..' she smiled as she pulled him back towards her and kissed him again also placing his nad back over her chest. He then began caressing her neck with his lips, she felt weak as he pressed her against the wall...his muscles tensed with every movement. He then ripped off her top and then pressed her harder against the wall

His hunger for her grew worse and deeper as he pants now fell down around her ankles

His breathing was more heavier...as he kissed her lips again...biting them teasingly as she shievered....as she ran her hands down his back and pulled him in closer so their bodies were pressed hard against each other
