Yeah I know, who could ask for a harder choice? I just want to see what type of music everyone that posts here is into and how much/little I fit into this group. Heh anyways without further adue here is my list. (In no particular order at all except that which comes to mind quicker.)

Guns 'N Roses

Nirvana

The Used

Something Corporate

Bush
Don't ask how I came up with those over so many others. It's a hard choice and I tried to think fast as to not spend too long trying to figure out who should be up here. So many runners-up with honorable mention to Smile Empty Soul, Staind, Metallica, Creed, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Greenday, Incubus, and so many more... -.-

EDIT: I Thought I should add my favorite songs as well.

To tell you the truth this topic doesn't seem like it will fly with the moderators for the most part because, it's just a favorites topic. You NEED to essentially ask why these people like the bands and give an explanation of your own for why you like the bands you've posted as well. I know I'm not a moderator or anything, but I would like to give you heads up on that point alone. So yeah I know I shouldn?t be taking the duties of the moderator, but I felt it necessary as so to tell him that.

Anyways my favorite bands are (Not in any particular order.)

The Cure; (Goth Rock, pertaining though to only certain cds. ?Pornography? for one example.) I?ve as of late have been listening to this band and it?s just a great, great band. Robert Smiths voice is a really neat voice to listen too and the lyrics are especially one of the things that appeal to me. Just in essence even the way the instruments are played are neat. I especially like the use of a saxophone I believe it was in the ending of the song ?A Night Like This?. Which the same song was the song that got me started on listening to The Cure.
1. Pictures of You
2. Pornography
3. The Hanging Garden
4. A Night Like This
5. A Strange Day

Cradle of Filth; (Black Sympho - Metal) Danni Filth, one of my favorite vocalists. Why? Because somehow he turns screams into something harmonic in a disgruntled sort of way. The lyrics.. are Cliche it?s true for most parts but at the same time that that they are cliche, they seem to have an awesome effect and the instruments played go great with it as well. This really the only black metal I like anymore besides a little bit of Dimmu Borgir and Burzum.
1. Her Ghost In The Fog
2. Babylon A.D. (So Glad for the Madness)
3. Fear of the Dark (Iron Maiden Cover)
4. Bathory Aria
5. Hallowed Be Thy Name (Iron Maiden Cover)

Nine Inch Nails; (Industrial Rock) What can I say about NIN? Honestly, just one of my absolute favorite bands to listen to and really the only Industrial Band I like to listen too. Trent Reznor has an excellent voice, the instruments are played well, all the sounds and noises in between are mixed together and each album has taken a turn to something different. Though my personal favorite album right now is The Downward Spiral.
1. Closer
2. The Wretched
3. And All That Could Have Been...
4. The Great Below
5. Down In It

Smashing Pumpkins; (Not sure what Smashing Pumpkins is) I Can?t say to terribly much about this group though all in all I still can?t stop listening to their one CD Siamese Twins. Great CD and my current favorite song by them is ?Disarm? on that Cd. But my personal favorite track on Mellin Collie and the Infinite Sadness which is ?Bullet With Butterfly Wings? and this song got me into the Smashing Pumpkins.
1. Disarm
2. Bullet With Butterfly Wings
3. 1979
4. Eye
5. Ava Adore

and.. Our Lady Peace; (Alternative Rock) I really don?t know what to say about this band except for the fact that their older stuff just rules and for most people I recommend the CD?s. Though I guess their pretty much mainstream, but they?re the one of very few bands that are actually good in the mainstream music.
1. Naveed
2. Is Anybody Home?
3. Clumsy
4. Supermans Dead
5. Stealing Babies (This song is a very good song)

Oh and Friday 13 I just want to mention Emperor is a good Black Metal band but only their old stuff >> and same with Dimmu Borgir.. their first two CD?s were good when they did it in their own language, Norwegian. But the rest.. just honestly sucked, though the new, new CD I guess isn?t to bad.

Guns 'N Roses is okay and Nirvana is good, though overrated a bit. I don't really care for any of the other bands that Atticus mentioned (except Pink Floyd, who are amazingly good). The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins are good stuff, as well.

Anyway, even though the lower tiers of what I love changes constantly, my top five is pretty constant (though, it was shaken up a bit when Tony introduced me to Pixies, heh). It goes a bit like this:

Nine Inch Nails: Amorphous hit the nail on the head with his description of Nine Inch Nails. NIN has been my favorite band for quite a while now...it's just amazing to listen to the records that NIN has put out and know that Trent Reznor is pretty much responsible for everything that's on them. I just recently got a hold of The Fragile and it just reaffirmed my knowledge that NIN is an amazing band, heh. Pretty Hate Machine is my favorite of their albums.

Sonic Youth: Just a fantastic, grossly underrated band. They've been around for a long, long time, probably far longer than a lot of people realize. They've neen making consistently fantastic records for what seems to be forever lol. I can see why some people might not like them, since they're notoriously tough to get into, but once you open yourself up to them, it's just great. The guitars, in particular, take a bit of getting used to, but they're really beautiful sounding, if really avant-grade, heh. But it's cool to know that there are still bands that stick to their vision and don't take compromise too easily. Of their albums, my favorite is Washing Machine, though Daydream Nation and A Thousand Leaves (though a bit mellow) are both great albums in their own right.

Pixies: Right after I listened to Doolittle and Trompe Le Monde, I fell in love with them...they're just such a great, quirky band, I think it's impossible not to love them after listening to them. The Pixies write some of my favorite songs in terms of subject matter, too. Where other bands were writing about the cliched stuff like love, teen angst and stuff like that, you had Black Francis writing about stuff like crazy foreign films, Old Testament stories and UFOs. He's such a strange songwriter, but that makes him that much cooler, in my eyes. Doesn't hurt that they knew how to write some damn catchy tunes. Doolittle is good, but I prefer Trompe Le Monde, mostly because it's a bit heavier, overall, than Dolittle. Plus, Trompe Le Monde has what has become one of my alltime favorite songs, "Motorway to Roswell" - such an amazing song, heh.

The Jesus and Mary Chain: Downloaded "Just Like Honey" off of Tony's site, got really intrigued and hunted down a few other songs...another band that I've really fallen in love with in recent times, heh. They can be kind of mellow at times, but strangely enough that's not really a turnoff with this band. The mellowness is never really depressing, it's more melodic and it really gets you in tune with the music. It's just beautiful stuff. Hopefully, I'll be able to buy 21 Singles and get more of a feel for this band, heh. But, yeah, from what I've heard so far, they're already one of my favorites.

The Beatles - Come on, they're The Beatles lol. What could I possibly say about them that hasn't already been said by someone else already? I basically grew up with The Beatles and I've loved them since I was a little kid. My favorite album of theirs (though I don't really own it) is Revolver, which has another one of my all-time favorite songs on it, "Eleanor Rigby". Beautiful song.

There are tons of other bands that I could sit here and list, but I feel like I've written enough already lol.

My top favorite Bands would have to be these five:
AC/DC

2Creedance Clearwater Revival

3Aerosmith

4N.E.R.D.

5Guns and Roses
I usually listen to those groups most of the time I because most of the rock I do listen to is mostly classic rock like ZZ Top, AC/DC, Guns and Roses, Aerosmith, and more. I also like some the old pyschedelic rock like: Creedance Clearwater Revival, Crash Test Dummies, Iron Butterfly, and there is another group I like they made that song No Rain, but I cannot remember their name.

This is a tricky one cause there are so many i like but here are my favs.

1. Black Sabbath. This guys are the god fathers of metal. These guys basically created metal. Also all of their songs just rock such as paranoid, Dirty Women and into the void. These song just pathed the way. And ozzy ruled back then.

2. Metallica. This is my fav band eva. To black sabbath this guys defined metal. Back in the 80s when metal was all about spandex and big hair, came four guys with just roaring guitars and pounding drums and just blew it all away. I mean every song they wrote was just incredible. I mean look at Master of the Puppets proably the greatest metal album eva. They wrote so many awesome songs like For whom the bell tolls and sad but true. My fav metallica song is One. That song is pure poetry. Metallicas music has helped me get thought alot of hard times.

3. Slayer. I personally think that slayer are proabley the greatest hardcore band around. The have got two legendary guitarist who are Jeff hanneman and proably the greatist eva KERRY KING. Slayer are just awsome with blinding guitar riffs and it is just an assult on the senses. They wrote the greatest thrash metal album eva called Reign in Blood.

4. Slipknot. The nine boys from IOWA in boiler suits and masks changed my life for eva. Those guys were the first metal band i eva heard and it just went from there. They have wrote incredible albums which were The Mate Feed Kill Repeat, Slipknot and Iowa. Their new album is just incredible. Theyve taken their music to places i never thought could happened with that band. Just amazing. I know their called " Nu Metal" band once you striped that all away its just amazing. Coreys lyrics are just amazing and the music as a whole create this wild ball of energy which just explodes.

5. Iron maiden. I love maiden. They are the greatest band to eva come out of england and there music is just great. They have wrote so many great albums like The Number Of The Beast and Power Slave. So much great stuff. I mean with the drums and excellent guitar solos and Bruce Dickinsons voice is just fanastic.

Phew

Elemeno P

Elemeno P's debut album, called Love and Disrespect blew me away, Fast Times in Tahoe begins like a slow pop song, but as the chorus kicks in, it becomes more rock-punkish. Evrey Day's a saturday is a really good song when you're in a party mood.

Top 5 songs from Elemeno P

Fast Times in Tahoe
Every day's a Saturday
Goodbye
Verona
Hip Hop Verona (single remix)

Scribe

Great Kiwi rapper, who's performances are top notch, Scribe is definately a respected artist who is shooting straight for the top of the NZ music charts. Sogns such as Theme fromt he Crusader, and the album title itself, The Crusader, are references to his (and mine!) home town of Christchurch which inspire and draw pride.

Excellent style and vocals, Scribe is defiantely worth a look.

Top 5 sogns from Scribe

Theme from The Crusader
Stand Up
Not Many (if any)
Dreaming
Not Many/ the REMIX!

Pink Floyd

Need I say anything? Pink FLoyd is timeless, albums such as Dark Side of the Moon are put together very well, including the trademark tape effect experiments in Time and Money, where ticking clocks and clanging cash machines ring in an array of melody that's ahead of it's time.

I first got my tastes for Floyd watchign an amateur TV station play a road trip from one end of our country to the other, playing Pink Floyd along the way, the trip lasted four hours!

What do you want from me?

Okay let's see if I get the jist of this thread. List your top five favorite bands and explain why. then list your favorite songs and explain why? Did I get that right or am I just guessing? Well, anyway, let me try even if I screw up royaly.

five favorite bands in no real order:

1.) Dixie Chicks- One of my favorite country bands of all time. I don't even skip around on the songs on their CDs and I do that a lot lately. Plus, Natalie Maines doesn't like Bush so there's another plus.

2.) Fleetwood Mac- A person can never go wrong with a classic band like Fleetwood mac. Especially when you stake the CDs from your husband to make yourself feel better.

3.) New Found Glory- Happy punk, You can never go wrong with happy punk. Fien if now the happy punk is also mainstream and kids who are like well I heard then on the radio. So, I heard then at RIT and I have their first CD Nothing Golden can stay.

4.) Ataris-More happy punk. And they're still not on the radio. Oh well. I escpecially liked the name of their debut Album-look forward to disaster.

5.) SheDaisy-Another all girl country band. I didn't really like their second CD as much as the first, but still... I like the band. Anytime a band can make a song about knocking off a cheating or abusive spouse sound good, it's a plus for me.

Five favorite songs from these bands or others:

(note: album listed before song)

Dixie Chicks

1.) Fly-Good-bye Earl- This song made me crack up at the site of Black eyed peas and I don't feel like explaining myself for that. I play this track to annoy my husband (his middle name is Earl) or when my friends and I want to be strange.

2.) Wide Open Spaces-Am I the only one- This was never released as a single, but I can't help but love it. The song's Tempo is very up beat, but she's singing about being hurt so many times. Confusion is fun.

3.) Fly-Sin Wagon-Just one thing. How can you not love a song called Sin wagon?

4.) Home-God Speed Sweet Dreams-It's such a sweet song, it reminds me of a lullaby and puts me in a good mood. Okay sometimes it makes me sleepy, but can you blame me?

5.) Home- Landslide It's a remake of a Fleetwood Mac song (Stevie Nicks) and It was well done.

New Found Glory

1.) New Found Glory-So sorry So- First song I heard from them on the radio. I had picked up the CD from Target for $8.00 because they were being called a new band and suddenly I'm listening to the Zone and Poof, here they are.

2.) Catalyst-Its all downhill from here-First song on their new CD also the first single. very catchy

3.) Sticks and stones- My friends over you- Such a true statement. I think.

4.) Sticks and stones-Head on collision- I think it's a break up song, but I've never been sure.

5.) Sticks and Stones- Belated- Very sweet.

SheDaisy

1.) The whole SheBang-Little Good-byes- The song is about this woman who's leaving her man and all through the song she lists what she left behind like the litter box, the VCR and the mess from her sandwhich.

2.) The whole Shebang- Lucky for you- A song about this girl who runs into her ex and I guess he made comments on how she has too many personalities, so there was a song about that and what every personality wanted to do to him

3.) The whole SheBang-Night to remember- The wife finds out her husband is cheating. They go out for their anniversary and she drives their car off a cliff at the end. :flaming:

4.) Knock on the sky- Get over yourself- For some reason this song reminds me of bi-sexual vampire girl because she would never leave me alone. Lucky for me she never actually kissed me :p

5.) Knock on the Sky- I wish I was the rain- Very nice song.

The last five are miscelanious If I could spell miscelanious:

(note: Band-Album (if I can remember it) Song)

1.) Ataris-So LOng Astoria- Boys of Summer-Remake of Don Henley's Boys of Summer. This song is special to me because Lincoln learned to play it on his bass for me and it's one of the few songs i can get him to sing. Also the line About: "But baby when I get you back. I'm gonna show you what I'm made of. Sticks in my head.

2.) Fuel-Natural Selection-Cry Like This- Really nice song that I'm trying to put into a fanfic.

3.) Stevie Nicks & (anyone know who?)- (can't find the CD)- Leather and Lace- I danced to this song at my wedding. I thought it was really pretty

4.) Social Distortion-{don't know)-Story of my life- Entertaining. I heard it on Life or something like it and really liked the song.

5.) They Might Be Giants-Flood-Particle Man- This is actually a song about a guy who is depressed all they time and a bully. Still it's cute.

Well I guess that's my incomplete screwed up list and I think I may have gotten teh band and the song wrong on one of them. Enjoy

Just to go against the norm I'll list some bands which don't have a rock/ metal influence. Here's my top five in no particular order:

Basement Jaxx. Is there nothing these quirky English DJ's can't do. Since the release of their first album back in 1999 they have released two new albums. Each one surpasses the the previous one with seemingly new found levels of sofistication. Now for my favourite songs of theirs: 1. Good Luck. the first song off their latest album. Good beats and it even has a cool video clip. 2. Where's Your Head At. Off their second album. Surely everyone can remember the film clip with the evil monkeys. 3. Romeo, also off their second album itg brings a smile to my face everytime I hear it. 4. Lucky Star, another awesome song from the Jaxx latest effort. 5.Red Alert, first song they ever released. Didn't know who they where until I heard it a coulpe of years after it's relaese.

Groove Armada. Another English group who have been pushing the envelope in terms of Electronica since their inception. Have three albums which are all awesomly good. Here's my five songs: 1. Edge Hill, so damn good it's creepy. 2. Pre 63, off their first album this song shows a perfect example of how Electronica music should be. 3. Sun Toucher, the only rap I like. 4.Serve Chilled, noting can be said for this one. 5. Purple Haze, classic re-make of a song from the sixtes.

The Flaming Lips, their songs are unique in so many ways. Don't really have any songs of theirs that are my favourite due to the fact that I have none of their albums.

The Chemical Brothers. Lost their way a bit in the middle part of their careers but are now back on track. Instead of nominating songs I'll just nominate an album minus the crap songs. Come with Us is where they got back on track. Only these song are considered crap by me: Song 1, 2, and 9, the rest of these are very good.

How could I not go past Fat Boy Slim. The cool but now retired DJ made some of the best dance tracks fo the late ninties. Sadly however he threw the towel in during 2002. Here's my list of songs: 1. Weapon of Choice, cool song, even cooler film clip. 2. Ya Mamma, how could you not love the film clip to this one 3. Praise You, off his first album this is the song that really catapulted him to fame. 4. Acid 8000, comes off what most consider to be the strange end off his first album, I think it's goddamned cool 5. Sunset (Bird of Prey) very cool if creepy song that has a cool film clip which involves a guy ejecting from his plane mid air.
That concludes my list of favourite music groups. Sorry if it's not to everyone elses rock tastes.

Favorite bands, eh? Eh? Well, in no particular order after #1, here we go. ^__^

#1-The Offspring Okay, how these guys haven't showed up on anyone's list yet is beyond me, but they kick arse. I'm only missingt heir second album, really. They're a smart band, and many of their song lyrics are inside jokes, or just plain clever. (Original Prankster is about Bill Clinton, for example) While the album Conspiracy of One was a disappointing retread of Americana, Splinter was unique and reminded me why these guys rock. Only problem is, Splinter's barely a half-hour long. :( Here's hoping their next album is both good and lengthy.

#2-The Barenaked Ladies One of my favorite Canadian exports, BNL has an odd bag of music, most of it great. They range from thoughtful to irrevent, similar to myself. Of course, their biggest hit album was Stunt, but Maroon and Born on a Pirate ship ain't half bad, either.

#3-Blink-182 Yeah, I like pop-punk. Got a problem with it? While I oftentimes find some of their earlier works a bit immature for my tastes, the good greatly outnumbers the bad. tHe song that got me hooked on them was What's My Age Again?, and their most recent album was such a refreshing update of their style. All of This is a masterpiece.

#4- REM Ah, REM. Though many of their songs are politically dated, it's still good listening. Exhuming McCarthy was featured in one of my history class projects... And, of course, everyone remembers End of the World. Someday, I'll learn all the lyrics.

#5-Gorillaz Weep for the greatest band to ever produce only one original album. At a time when the music landscape was littered with Boy Bands and Pop Whores, Gorillaz offered a creative and vibtrant breath of fresh air. Unfortunatly, their lack of existance proved to be their downfall. ;_;

And because the thread wouldn't be complete if I didn't argue with somebody....
Plus, Natalie Maines doesn't like Bush so there's another plus.
Yet she publically retracted her statements from London, which is why I don't respect her opinion. I don't care what you say about who, really; celebrities getting political is nothing new. What I really must insist on is that you stand by what you say, which she did not.

Sometimes it's hard to be a consrvative who likes punk and alternative bands.

It's amazing what a person will do when their record sales are in jeopardy huh? Personally I was just impressed that a Texan said something negative against Bush never mind that she took it back.

Of course, the fact that she took it back shows Natalie Maines is more concerned with profit that politics. Too bad Toby Keith or Kenny Chesney (who ever sang that stupid red white and blue song) can't leave politics out of songs.

It's also hard to be a liberal who likes country music, shops at American Eagle and practices Wicca. Some country music is so full of religion (Long Black Train anyone?) it gets on my nerves, but aside from that I enjoy it. So I feel your pain, I guess. And I'll still support your campaign Now back to the topic.

Toby Keith... Can you really call yourself an American and not support the avid defense of our nation? Your treading thin ice there.

I'm busy supporting the soldiers. I have never supported this war. To me Toby Keith lacks credibility because how are you supposed to teach tolerance when some redneck has to make a song about violence being the American way?

It's like when a friend and I were driving around the weekend after 9/11 and saw some knuckleheaded redneck (western NY has them people) driving around in his pick up sporting a large peice of ply-wood with death to the towel heads on it. It really makes you fear for the future of our country when you've got people in positions of influence singing about seeking revenge.

As for the fact that I can't myself an American and you say I'm treading on thin ice because I don't like a song? I believe I told you this before- stop being so shallow brained and grow up.

Another good band who nobody's mentioned yet: They Might Be Giants or TMBG. I guess I can add them to my favorites list since I've burned so many of their songs onto CDs even if I don't own any of them (any more because my brother thought that flood and severe tire damage made great frisbees :flaming: )

Their songs usually sound very upbeat even if there are hidden meanings behind some of them that are more depressing than need be. One of my favorites is Istanbul-NOT Constantinople. I got bored once at work and started singing it out loud. Luckily it was late so people understood.

Also You're not the boss of me now. My husband manages to turn it into I'm gonna poke the cheebs (his nickname for me) now and pokes at me, but the song is still cute.

Ooh, interesting thread concept. But after looking at my list I'm sure you'll agree my musical taste is a shattered mirror. :p Only the Top Three are concrete by the way, otherwise my faves tend to changeabout as regularly as the tides.

5. REM:
REM roxor my world. More for one song (which, incidenatlly, was instrumental in my upbringing) than anything, though their whole catalogue can be described as 'awesome'. I especially love The Great Beyond and Orange Crush. I only own one of their alums though, that album being the Best of In time but I actively search for more.

4. The Doors:
*cough* Really, I can't help it if I'm retro. I grew up listening to The Doors, and me earliest memory is of hearing the song Riders on the Storm (fantastic song that). The End is good too as well as a plethora of others I can't be particularly bothered to name (damn you laziness!). I own none of their albums but regularly 'borrow' my Dad's copy of LA Woman. ;)

3. Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP) are unlike any band I have ever listened to, their fantastic riffs and melodic songs carrying me away to happy places that I am not willing to divulge information about to the likes of you. They awesome-ossity of their songs is so great that they don't have to make sense lyrics-wise, they just rock because they exist.

Stolen straight from my site, heh.

2. Hilltop Hoods
They rock my mother-******* world. Their beats are highly contagious, and, accompanied by the lyrics of uber-awesome MCs Suffa and Presha they create a highly volatile mix of funk that, if not handled correctly, can leave you humming their tunes and rapping to their beats for days (nay, months) after. Unfortunately I only own one of their albums (the latest) so I don't know if they have matured with age or what... but I DO know they kick major *** and should anyone question this I'll smite them to hell. And it has the best recorded freestyling I've ever heard.

That too, taken from my website.

1. KoRn
I would be nowhere without KoRn. They rock so hard (for me at least) that without them I would be sad and alone. I have four of their six albums and am 'negotiating' (read: sweet-talking)with my Mum into getting me the remaining two. My fave songs would have to be Blind, Balltongue and Its On, and find them to be the best music to accompany a late-night net session.

And yeah.

Another band I forgot, yet I can't believe no one else mentioned, is the Ramones. Come on, the Ramones! That is some classic stuff right there. I wanna be Sedated, The KKK Took my Baby Away, Rock N Roll Hig School, Blitzkrieg Bop....The music that started a revolution. Heck, I'm listening to them right now.

The Tribute to the Ramones was also nice, except Marilyn Manson's cover of KKK. Way to kill a song, Herma.

(Will not get involved in the political debate a few pages up. Being good, being good...)

Seeing as I'm in a good mood and have not much to do at the moment, I'll take the time to list the songs I like out of each band I list...

1. Metallica
I love rock. Yep.

-The Memory Remains
-The Unforgiven II
-I Disappear
-Fade to Black
-Low Man's Lyric

2. Staind
What can I say... I like these guys because of the music they have. All their music I can relate to really well.

-Outside
-It's Been A While
-So Far Away
-Fade
-Yesterday
-For You

3. The Offspring
Their sound is so awesome.

-Gone Away
-Race Against Myself
-Hit That
-Spare Me The Details
-(Can't Get My Head) Around You

4. Linkin Park
Everyone knows how good these guys sound. I know how good they are.

-Don't Stay
-With You
-Figure .09
-Papercut
-One Step Closer -(I can't forget this song :smoke: )

5. Cold
I only found this group out recently, but I gotta say they got a nice sound to 'em.

-Gone Away
-Suffocate
-Remedy
-End Of The World
-No One

...of course, there's other great bands, that I listen too more than these bands sometimes. Marilyn Manson, Ill Nino, Live, Creed (awesome), Megadeth, Oasis.

Well here's my list. Right now I'm mostly into alternative rock, but I like everything form Enya to Simon and Garfunkel.

5. System of a Down I love their beats and the composition of each song. The guitar acoustics are amazing and even through their screaming they sound good.
Chop Suey
Sugar
Aerial
Toxicity

4. Disturbed Whenever I'm depressed/angry and feel like some good head-banging music I put this on. Their songs are just so catchy!
Stupify
Down With the Sickness
Prayer
Believe

3. Trapt Their songs are a little softer, but I love them. I love that I can actually sing along with these songs, and their music is cool.
Headstrong
Still Frame
Echo
Hollowman

2. Linkin Park I guess these guys are very popular here, and so I'll follow the trend. I love how Linkin Park isn't afraid to use violins and Japanese flutes. I usually don't like rap, but Linkin Park incorporates it so well I love it!
In the End
Faint
Numb
One Step Closer

1. Evanescence This is my all time favorite band. Amy lee has an amazing voice, and she adds a haunting twist to all of their songs. I love the contrasts between her sweet voice, and the gothic metal rock. Their lyrics are beautiful and I love all of their songs.
Imaginary
Bring Me to Life
Going Under
My Immortal
Tourniquet
Even In Death

I liked Manson's cover of that song simply because it was so different from the original. I'm tired of cover songs where bands try to emulate the original band and don't do their own thing at all.

At the same time, it isn't the greatest thing to listen to heh.
