Candle?s flickered in the soft moonlight that night as the group of eight gathered around it. Each of them was prepared for what was about to take place, but not one of them could predict exactly what was going to happen. As the chants echoed the halls of the school and the eight witnessed this miracle. A mist surrounded a single girl as her soul was taken over to the other side on the night of the devil?s servants, Halloween.

It had been 10 years since that night. Trea was the girl who preformed the ritual that night. This ritual had been done only once before in succession. The reason had been the same each time that it was preformed. To cross over to the spirit world and draw forth the portal to send the evil spirits back to their home as well as gain the powers to defeat the evil person controlling them. The school that this group of students had been attending had a past history, one that was clouded in mystery until the day that these eight discovered the truth about it.

As history says the school had been built on top of burial grounds that had not been sealed by a priest before the settlement that was originally there moved on. It was said that many of these spirits where angry souls that resented the living and only searched for a way to escape their world and reenter ours. They got this chance when a sorcerer, disguised as a student at the school, took his chances and summoned the spirits to him. Using their anger to his advantage he made these spirits obey him and loathe all others. He created his own personal army and that?s when the strange occurrences began to take place. Words were written on the board out of nowhere and objects moved on their own. Only a few really noticed and sought to understand what was going on. These people found the text that they needed and cast the spell to gain special powers. Slowly they sought and destroyed the sorcerer and they lived in legend forever.

Ten years ago something similar took place. A group of students, some skeptical, took notice of strange occurrences taking place in this school. One of them, a tortured man called Hunter, found himself at the forefront of the assault. Once before in his life a spirit had taken someone he loved from him and he wished revenge. Joey and Trea, both girls, agreed with Hunter and where the most supportive of him. Another person stood out from the rest of them. A boy named Rodney that resented everything the Hunter did and questioned the very mind that he controlled. He went insane, but still joined the fight. Trea and Joey, on the other hand, found that Hunter had a great interest in them. He fell in love with both girls and did what he could to protect them both; he even kept his love a secret. A roller coaster led their lives from that point on. Tragedy after tragedy tried to destroy them and remove any bonds, but even suicide could not stop them. They found the text that the others had found before them and Trea was to perform the spell. She did successfully, but her mind had been trapped in the spirit world. Her body went into a coma-like state until it passed away. The sorcerer seemed to disappear without ever even being seen. With Trea gone Hunter fell into a great depression and even pushed Joey away from him. He ran away and she attempted to follow the best she could, but he became too fast. Three years had passed and Trea?s spirit collected its power and sent Hunter messages. This slowed him down, but he did not realize that until Joey caught up with him. Both very sad people they stayed where they were not caring about anything else. Together they planned on finding comfort and rekindled their love. Ever since then another legend had been passes through the school about this group of students.

The sorcerer hadn?t been destroyed or even really disappeared. The sorcerer who had posed as student once again came up through the school and is now back there, working as one of the staff. Could be a teacher, could be a councilor, or even possibly a janitor. No one knows, but he has been planning his return and now it is time to put his plan into action. He is going to summon the restless spirits to rebuild his army. Again students at the school are going to have to fight for the school and once again the ritual will have to be preformed. Can they finally put these spirits to rest?

[b]First Encounter:[/b] When Maya was five, she encountered spirits. Fire spirits, to be precise. Never let a young child loose near an open fire; that was the first mistake her parents made. Young Maya stumbled for the glowing coals in the fireplace, and reached out. Before her mother could say a word, Maya?s hand touched an ember. It flared beneath her touched. Maya saw a small spirit wrapped round the coal, its body pulsing with heat. Its head was tucked down near the ember, eyes closed in sleep. Maya saw it open an eye and smile, and then she brought her hand away. Her skin wasn?t harmed, and the whole thing had happened in a fraction of a second. Her mother assumed she had put a hand near it and decided better.

[b]Personality:[/b] Maya is a usually smiling, happy-go-lucky person, friendly. She looks more like a 12 year old than 15, but she is highly intelligent. What most don?t know, though, is that she has a temper. She will fight for those she loves, and has no illusions about it. Fire is her element in every sense, as well as the fire spirits love her. They will let her control them and fire as long as she continues to call on them. There has never been a time when she couldn?t use their help.

First Encounter: At the age of seven he had gone to school for the first ime and was on his way home. He had nevered walked home before, but he did that day because he begged his mother until she gave into him. He was very pleased that day, but he was under strict orders to come strait home and not delay himself whatsoever. Even though he had been lectured about how responsible he had to be he could not resist this old abandoned house that he saw as he walked back towards his home. He hadn't seen the house before so he pushed through the bushes and entered to get a better look. He climbed all the way to the upper level to discover a severly rotted floor. It sunk and sand with each step. Without any caution he went towards the center of the room and it collapsed beneath him. He fell through and landed on the floor below, but it wasn't a hard landing. He wasn't hurt at all. He looked beneath him to see that a pillow os clear smoke had padded his fall, but this pillow had eyes and claimed to be the patron of the wind. The patron of the wind did not speak any more an left him to return home with a story that no one would believe.

Personality: He does show regret from the people who enver believed him when he was younge, but he has forgotten most of their faces now. He has really just been focused on the life that he has ahead of him. He is very head strong and competitive. He is currently the capitain of the mens swim team, has a 4.0, and tutors kids in math before school starts and enjoys every second of it. He is into younger girls for some reason, but he can also have a temper when challenged.

I don't know how many I want for this, but five would be a great start.

[B]First Encounter[/B]: Though most of his early years were normal, at age ten in fifth grade, both his life and future persona took a very sharp turn. Wether left behind by some ritual, or a freak phenominon, Cainan stumbled across a dark archaic symbol. It was during recess on a Thursday in September. The young, free willed Cainan wandered off of school property and into the woods not but twenty yards behind the school building. It was there, carved into a tree in blood red. The boy was drawn to it, beckoned. As soon as he was within an arms length, it happened. A flood of ancient memories, spirits and nightmares hit him like an icey hammer. For eight long minutes, he was trapped in this vortex of fear, pain, and cold. They found him an hour later, huddled next to an oak tree, eyes wide and hands clutching his ears. He remembers little. But he does remember the pure, unchallenged terror. Something of that phantom phenominon still sleeps inside him, waiting to awake.
[B]Personality[/B]: By nature, Cainan is impressionable and shy. He loves to laugh and have fun, but it's difficult for him to do so without being close to whoever he's interacting with. One could call him dependent or clingy, but he knows when to back off or do something on his own. Another side of him is strong willed and determined, but it's a side that's rarely seen. One more odd feature - whenever anything pertaining to ghosts or spirits is mentioned, he will become very defensive and distant, sometimes even hostile. Memories can be powerful things.[/COLOR][/FONT]

First Encounter: Joeis first encounter with a supernatural Being was a week after his thrid birthday. He was sent to hospital with a deadly illness and was going to dying. When he awoke he found a trio of Spirites hovering over him. They just hovered there staring at him then one of them asked in his mind who he was. He was unable to awnser them so one of them reached his hand within his mind and removed his knowledge and searched through it. This progress nearly finished Joei off but somehow the kid survived , The ghost reinserted his knowledge and for some reason chose to enter his body as well as the other two ghosts. Since then he has had numerous encounters since his body is now the host of half a dozen spirits.

Personality: Joei has Multiple Personality Syndrome so It is incredibly difficult to explain his personality. His most Possessed Personality is his Natural Personality which is Rude and Obnoxius and just a little bit Sexist. His second personality which is of the ghost that plucked his knowledge from his mind, This ghost is Honourable and often outspoken by his Brothers Spirit which is Loud and also Obnoxious. His third Personality is quiet and will think for the longest amount of time because It likes to go through the steps slowly. His Fourth Spirit is the most intelligent and also the most Serious. Spirirt 5 is the joker of the lot and also the most cowardly. Spirit 6 is also Honourable and the spirit that gets him into fights the most. All of the spirits conflict with each other so It is unknown how they can bear to be in the general vicinity of each other.

Appearence: Kin-Ha has black silky hair, with dark orange highlights. The hair is about shoulder length. She usually wears her old Korean school uniform even though not required at school. She sometimes wears glasses when shes thinking, and for the glasses to come, it has to be soem serious thinking going on.

First Encounter:In Seoul, Korea, there is a rumor of a woman. In this rumor the woman lost her baby due to unkown circumstances. Then, they say that the baby was buried in the walls of a bathroom. Every time you enter the bathroom you are supposed to hear "Oma. Oma, Oma!" English translation "Mother, mother, mother". No one actually hears this. But, one day the woman and her baby showed themselves to Kin-Ha, thy stood there speechless. Then Kin-Ha fell unconsious. She dosesn't really know went on that day, but something did happen/

Personality: Kin-Ha is very quiet and shy. She doesn't know much English, and when she does speak English she has a strong accent. Kin-Ha could be very friendly at times, and she can become very seriours and stron-headed.

[b]First Encounter:[/b] At the age of ten, Nyx was playing in her backyard, just climbing a tree and having fun. She carefully stood on one of the branches and was able to overlook yard, but she lost her grip and began tumbling and crashing down the tree. Suddenly, a shadowed arm grabbed her waist and hauled her back up onto safe zone in the tree. Nyx stared at the trunk, where nothing but a shadow appeared. Staring deeply at the tree, a pair of yellow eyes flashed at her, but in an instant, they were gone.
[b]Personality:[/b] Nyx is generally in a good-nature, cracking jokes at weird times and seeing the bright side of things. However, if something gets her mad, she is [i]pissed[/i] and will not quit until the wrong is righted. Because of this, she is often in the Guideance Consoler's office, who is scolding her for wasting her intelligence by being such a punk.

[b]First Encounter:[/b] J.B.'s first encounter with a spirit occured while he was on vacation with his family in the Bahamas. While surfing, he hit a wave that was so big, it knocked him further into the water, causing him to go under deeper, and deeper. While trying to gather his bearings underwater, he realized that he couldn't hold his breath any longer. He began to accept his fate and just drown, but when he stoped holding his breath, he realized he could breathe. He also noticed two eyes staring at him, and a force pulling him to the surface. When he got to the shore he felt a sharp pain on his arm, and when he looked at it a wierd symbol was there, later, he was told that the strange symbol was a sign of water....

[b]Personality:[/b] A very fun and loving guy, Josh has always been the life of the party. At school, he's one of the most popular guys around, considering the fact that he's a heart-throb, a great student, and a excellent athlete. Even though his life seems perfect it's not, his parents are both Doctors, and are never around, they've never even seem him play at one of his baseball games. For that, J.B. tries to be the best person he can be.[/center]
