I did start this a RPG, but I felt that it wouldn't do it justice, so instead, I bring you the story.

I want to thank Annalisse and Reise for reading stuff, and Reise, Kei, and Jamie for the HTML help.

I put the Prolouge in so if anyone didn't read the thread, will understand a little better.

Now, on with the story!

Prologue

?Reports are flooding in from all over the city about banned members suddenly getting up and lunging at those passing by. At this point, OBGH has been flooded with more than 3000 members complaining of bites and scratches that seem to only get worse.

I am here right now with Dr. Drix to discuss the situation.?

?I believe that you all are blowing this whole thing out of proportion. We have a measly 500 people that have infected bites from rabid animals. We are treating them with the vaccines and sending them on their way. Now, if you?ll excuse me, I have some shots to give.?

?There you have it folks. We should be at full scale panic, because we all know that someone above the good Dr. told him to?..?

?What the hell happened to the feed? The feeds not working! Goddamnit! Get the feed back; we need to inform the public!?

?Sir, here?s the feed now, its back?.?

?Play it!?

?But sir, it?s??

?PLAY THE GODDAMN FEED!?

From that moment on, it seemed that the quiet metropolis that was OtakuBoards was shattered. In that feed, showed the cameraman and news reporter being mauled and eaten by some shadowy figures many people later called zombies, although it has not been proven true or false.

People began to try to run from the Boards, carrying their posts, avatars and signatures in their cars, but when they reached the outskirts of town, they were met with gigantic barriers.

From there, members began to spread into the woods, finding spots where large groups could defend themselves. Sadly, the ?zombies? overthrew them with sheer force, and it seemed like OtakuBoards was doomed to die. With the last desperate measures taken, James called one final meeting of the staff.

?Team, we are a gone website. Whatever the hell happened, it happened quickly and I couldn?t get a hold on the situation before it escalated. Now, here we stand Lady Asphy, Dagger 1XI, Solo Tremaine, and Lore. You all survived because you either all got lucky, or had some kind a weapon. As we know, the only way to kill these things is to snap the spinal cord, whether that is by gunshot or physical contact. I am sending you 4 out in try and get help. I personally have matters to attend to here.? James, said, standing up.

James, then pushed a button on his chair, and an assortment of weapons popped up behind the foursome. Moderators picked the gun that was best suited for them, and headed towards the door. James nodded to each in turn as they left. He then, picked up a shotgun, and ammo. He glanced once more at his array of weapons and left.

Unknown to him, as he left, a dark shadow passed through the door to the meeting room, and sat down in James?s chair. It had no intention of leaving. It laughed, and turned around in the chair once. It suddenly snapped it?s fingers, and a small screen popped up. There, it showed three unconscious shapes, slumbering in random points of the mansion that the dark shape had sent them. ?It?s almost time for you three to awake, and see the horror that?s unfolded.? It whispered into the screen. ?Soon, you three will lead my armies against the last of the survivors and finish off OtakuBoards permanently.?

Chapter One: Firsts

A dark shape sat hunched in the rafters of the entrance room of the mansion. It didn?t seem to have any purpose, rather, it just sat there. The front doors swung open, and the shape suddenly stirred, its wings shooting out as it shot off from its perch towards the ground.

The shadow suddenly fell as the shape tore into the flesh and bones, the subject alive as it tore. It screamed in pain, blood seeping through the mouth. Life finally left the shadow when the shape snipped the main artery, the being feeling the pain every minute before that. The shadow then flew back up into the rafters, its hunger satisfied for the moment. It left the slim picking for whatever thing or things rambled under him.

It settled again, and waited for some other dumb thing to open those doors. It sat and shut it red eyes, which seemed like beacons in the darkness of the mansion. It wouldn?t be long until its next meal bumbled along.

Elsewhere in the mansion?

A shadow lay in relative darkness of the room. It began to stir, and sit up, letting out a small, almost undetectable moan. As the head became visible in the darkness, so did the hands. They moved in front of the face, and began to move up and down rapidly in front of the face. When it seemed like the being had decided that it couldn?t see, it decided to stand up.

A groan of pain told us that it made a bad decision by doing that. It rubbed its head and sat down on the nearest solid shape it could find. As we watch, the shape begins to grope along the wall for something, and it stops when it finds it. We hear the flip of light switch, but nothing happens. A strained of muttered curses is heard as the shape plops itself on the floor and began to grope around there. It finally stopped and brought its hands up to its face. There, a flick of switch is heard, and light suddenly erupts from the flashlight, temporarily blinding our hero.

After he comes around, he pulls out a small computer like thing from his pocket. From there, a holographic screen popped out and showed us everything we could ever want to know. His name was JJ, he had 20 new PMs, and he had lasted logged on two weeks ago.

?What the hell happened?? JJ said aloud not expecting a response.

He sat up once more and began to sift through his PMs. All of them screamed importance, but only a couple caught his interest. One from his friend Methuselah, one from Solo Tremaine, and an announcement from James all seemed for important than the chortles of death that seemed to reek of the others. He opened Methy?s first because it was a reply to something he had written her, right before things became fuzzy.

JJ,

I don?t know about you, but things do seem to be getting weird ?round here. We need to look into this, meet me in the Lounge at 12 tonight.

Methy

?I wonder if we ever met.? JJ thought as he opened the next PM.

JJ,

Where are you? James sent us off to find help, and it says that you?re still a member, so if you read this, PM me right away.

Solo

?A member as opposed to what?? JJ asked aloud as he opened James?s announcement.

OB community,

I am sorry to report that I have blocked off every possible exit from the site. The outbreak has gotten bad, and I feel like it?s partly my fault. I ask that you camp out in the many shelters we?ve provided and wait it out. I feel like all will be cleared up very soon.

I apologize once more,

James.

?What the hell happened here? Is this a freaking Resident Evil game or zombie movie?? JJ asked hoping for something to respond.

Nothing did, and JJ just sat in the silence for a second, trying to think of what to do. No matter what he decided, he needed to leave here. Staying here would result in death. That much JJ knew. His choices outside the door would warrant whether or not he would die. As he replied hastily to Solo and Methy?s PMs, he flicked off the flashlight. The computer had a backlight and he rapidly keyed in his response, already feeling worried.

He closed the screen and stuck it back into his pocket, and then stood up watching his head. He flicked on the flashlight, and opened the door a ways, so he could see if anything was in the hall. When he deemed the coast clear, he kicked the door open. The loud bang of the door echoed through the hall for a second, and then died. JJ?s glance darted from one end of the hall to the other. Both ways seemed to go on forever, with very few doors, and even fewer windows. JJ decided to head to the right, hoping it would lead him to the exit.

He began to walk, taking note of the vases and mirrors that seemed more than the doors and windows combined. JJ then thought of Resident Evil and its vases and crates hold thing policy. JJ picked up a vase and threw it down towards the ground. It shattered, but all it held was a tiny note.

You are an ignoramus that plays too many video games. I look forward to meeting in person soon.

JJ stuck the note in the front pocket of his jeans, and continued going. As he walked, ideas began to form in his mind. ?Maybe a plague of some type of n00b virus broke loose and turned the town upside down with the horrible spam and bad spelling.?

JJ soon found out what happened to OtakuBoards as he rounded the corner. There stood a monstrosity that even JJ failed to comprehend. Its skin hung off in bunches, giving off the sense of oldness. The face had all slid off leaving the skull showing. Its clothes were in tatters, showing that the skin seemed to be melting off.

JJ turned around, and retched into one of the vases that lined the hall. The ?thing? still hadn?t seemed to notice him. JJ set the vase back down when he was done, and pulled out his flashlight. JJ knew that this ?thing? would attack him, and he wanted to be ready. He slowly walked forward, his flashlight cocked. A small banner suddenly appeared over both the entities heads, labeling JJ as JJRiddler, and the being as ILuvVegeta101010101!!!!. The thing did a 180 and lunged at JJ, catching him off his guard.
