HISTORY OF VAMPIRES

Blood. Blood is life. Blood is a necessity that all are granted upon birth. Blood is a given, blood is a constant. Until you fall into Death's sweet embrace. Then, Blood is never taken for granted. We call those that have died and returned many names; Ghouls, Revenants, Zombies, the Undead. But when they seek blood, that purest source of life, we call them Vampires.

Though they have permeated our culture, we see them as little more than fairy tales. The stuff of gothic romance novels, cheesy horror movies, and occasionally nightmares. But they exist, they walk, and they hunt.

For eons they have walked among us, slowly stealing away our essence in the form of that rich, dark liquid. As they grew in number and power, evolved beyond the simple blood-suckers, they split apart. They formed the Clans. The Clans lived together in peace for centuries, millennia. Save the occasional squabble, things were calm among the Vampires.

But when the one known as Kuroichi, the Dark Blood, rose to the world of the Vampire, he decided that things should not be this way. He started his own Clan, the first to start in a thousand years, and slowly he swept across the globe, calling to his brethren. They called him mad when he went the way of peace, so he decided to go the way of war.

Thousands fell to Kuroichi's Clan. His bloodthirsty nature, demonic power, and trademark silver hair earned him his nickname...Demon of the Silver Hair. The Clans fought back, and he was pushed back to his homeland of Japan. His Clan dominated the island country, and he was pleased for a time.

Unfortunately, the Japanese government finally decided to lash out against the Vampires. They started a secret project, seeking out a few hundred children born with a strange power. These children were trained in the martial arts of the world, becoming expert warriors. They were the Hunters, deigned to slay the Vampires once and for all. Kuroichi was intrigued by these warriors, and decided to test them. There was a great massacre, and many of the Hunters died at the hands of Kuroichi. However, still many lived on, to fight against the Vampires with greater fervor.

Suddenly, the now-seasoned Hunters began to disappear. And at the same time, Kuroichi's Clan began to rise in power. The Hunters were becoming his Clansmen, and something had to be done before he became to great a threat. This began what would be known in the future as the War of the Blood.

Soon, Kuroichi's campaign swept across Europe as he stole the mighty Gems of the Ijuuj. With the Gyshram as his allies, he struck against the great clan, quickly taking the Emerald and Ruby. Along the way, he joined and fell out with Abaddon, Angel of the Abyss, and fought a former pupil...Goryuu Zokusai.

With Three Gems in his possession, Kuroichi was viewed as a horrific threat by the Gwyar. Some of the Elders, Dracula, LeStat, decided to overthrow the Great Elder himself, Cain. They would strike against the Krilat Zmaj and all who joined them. Thanks to Zoku's hatred of Kuroichi, they gained two of the gems, Zoku keeping one himself. The last gem is lost, along with Night Rider of the Ijuuj.

*NEW*
On his trip to Australia, Kuroichi struck apart the elements themselves with his power. All of the world traveled there to battle for the future of Vampire kind, from the mysterious Zoku to the vengeful Sumiyaka to the Myrkur Aniol Zuriel. Axosiel, puppet king of the Myrkur Aniol died shortly after Zuriel arrived, prompting Zuriel to take the throne.

Sole searched for Sumiyaka while she sought out Kuroichi. And when she found him...she joined him. Shortly there after, so did Zoku and Sole. Keitha had joined him before hand, swearing alligance to the Krilat Zmaj in the name of the Gyshram.

Tragedy struck as the Gyshram lord, David, and his wife were slain by Zoku. Zoku also killed the Gyshram lord Caine, and apparently did away with Night Rider. Keitha, in a blind rage, attempted to kill the titan Zoku, drinking of his blood and suffering his curse. In her madness she nearly killed the Gyshram heir, Nye, who was saved by Lana, Keitha's former assistant.

Zuriel clashed with the true leaders of the Myrkur Aniol, the Seraphic Legions, and eventually took the crown of the Angels. However, there is murmurs of rebellion from other legions, especially the Fallen. How long Zuriel can hold the throne is anyone's guess.

Dracula and Zuriel forged an alliance, prompting a confrontation with Zoku and Sole, who transformed into Dusk. Before the battle ended, Dusk and Zoku rejoined the Gwyar, turning against Kuroichi. Zoku handed over all of his gems but the Moonstone, still locked in his heart.

Kuroichi, before his meeting with the Zugai, underwent a transformation of his own. He crafted a new weapon, a new Gem, the Silver Forge. It has bound itself to his left arm and brought about the Wings of the Dark Angels, a true sign of Myrkur Aniol blood.

At his meeting with the Zugai, he gained their trust after slaying five might warriors. The Zugai put a false front to Zuriel when he arrived, but Kuroichi quickly gave the call to attack. Zuriel's skeleton army, called by the Sapphire given to him by Zoku, were no match for the Silver Haired Demon. Zuriel was struck down, but used the power of the Sapphire to become powerful once again.

Kuroichi made to attack the Angel King, but instead left him two gifts - the Night Blade (a new weapon in the War of the Blood) Harbinger, and the Blood Spawn, a creation forged by the Ruby and Emerald working together. Zuriel used the Harbinger to strike down the Blood Spawn, making sure to hinder its destructive power.

Kuroichi has sent Night Blades to the Greatest Eight Fighters: Zoku, Keitha, Dusk, Jinsei, Dracula, LeStat, The Archangels, and the Fallen Angels. Zuriel holds the Harbinger, and Kuroichi's greatest warriors hold even more. The Night Blades shall prove the balance breaker in the fight to come, with only Kuroichi having access to the mystical source of their power.

As the Silver Haired Demon returns to Japan, new threats loom on the horizon. A long distant threat has returned, and the Krilat Zmaj are about to be menaced by a Clan seeking refuge in the grimy streets of Tokyo. The Knubrap are about to enter the fight.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is your job to find out who gets the crown in the War of the Blood. One Clan must win, and your warriors will decide who. The Clans are:
Nyroma - The Nyroma own the lands of Eastern-Europe, governing the Vampires there with their great magical skill. Their illusions and spells are responsible for many of the myths surrounding Vampire lore. While the Nyroma aren't known for their physical prowess, they draw great fear in their knowledge and magic.
Members:
Knubrap - The Knubrap are the second newest Clan, existing wherever there is corruption, filth, and darkness. They are predominant in major American cities. The Knubrap are the basic Vampires, drawn together into their Clan out of necessity, rather than want. Though they have little power, their numbers are overwhelming, and they always know the terrain. They are currently moving into Asia, attempting to push the Krilat Zmaj out of Tokyo. However, they shall have to contend with Kuroichi before they can do that.
Members:
Zugai - Also known as the Skulls, the Zugai are violent, physically powerful, and deadly in numbers. They hate the Ijuuj above all others, seeing them as holier-than-thou scum that needs to be destroyed. The Zugai are resilient, strong, and have a never-may-die attitude that gives them an army of suicide soldiers to hurl against their foes. They are mostly found in the harsh terrain of Australia. The leaders of the Zugai have taken an interest in Kuroichi, mainly due to his mostly single-handed annihilation of the Ijuuj. The Zugai, led by King Jarrah, have joined Kuroichi in the fight against the Gwyar and Myrkur Aniol. Only one thing puts doubt in their minds...the Skull Sapphire, held by Zuriel.
Members:
King Jarrah - Neuvoxetere
Ijuuj - The Ijuuj may be the most formal and strict of all the Vampire Clans. Acting as a religious order for Vampires, they fight against the reckless Anarchists of the Zugai Clan. The Ijuuj follow their leaders (called the Kerlek) with fanatical devotion comparable to human fantasists but their greatest asset is their resistance to holy objects, a usual weakness for Vampires. They exist mostly in Western Europe. They have been almost decimated by Kuroichi and the Krilat Zmaj, and all seven of the mystical gems that gave them their holy resistence have been taken. It seems as though the Ijuuj are doomed. The Ijuuj are gone, slain by the Gyshram and Kuroichi.
Members:
Mirichai - Militaristic and bloodthirsty, the Mirichai seek power amongst the Vampire community, their desire for one great Clan preempting Kuroichi's. They utilize advanced human weaponry, mainly guns, in their conquest for power. They make their home in the Southern US and Mexico.
Members:
Gyshram - Shadowy assassins, the Gyshram hire themselves out to anyone who can pay well enough. They are well known for never failing to kill a target. Their exceptional speed and agility, as well as the power to manipulate shadows, gives them an edge in this secret war. They generally hide out in the World's deserts. They are in league with Kuroichi, but no one is sure how long, or even why. Unfortunately, due to Zoku's madness, the Ijuuj's vengeance, and Keitha's bloodlust, very few remain. It is up to the young Prince Nye to rebuild, alongside the assassin Lana.
Members:
Lana - amgoddess
Senji - Tash
Keitha - demonchild781
Labareda - A Central American Clan of Vampires that routinely dip their hands into human (and criminal) affairs. Drug trafficking, assassination (often aided by the Gyshram), political takeovers, extortion, and murder are just a few of their daily activities. With coffers full and weapons a plenty, they might be a hard force to stop.
Members:
Myrkur Aniol - Though small, the Myrkur Aniol is by far one of the most dangerous of the Clans. Taking the names of Angels (Fallen or otherwise) upon their "creation?, the Myrkur use the power of name to strike fear into the hearts of others. And if that doesn't work, their inhuman power will. While one of their members, Abaddon, is disgusted by Kuroichi, the Silver-Haired Demon himself is the second-spawn of the mighty Gabriel himself. They are lead by Zuriel, an incredible feat due to his status as Angel in the Hierarchy. The Seraphic Legions have pleged alligance to him, but the other Choirs may not join so steadily...especially the Fallen.
Members:
Zuriel - Blayze
Krilat Zmaj - The powerful Clan lead by the Silver Haired Demon himself, Kuroichi. With the mysterious Power, a telekinetic energy, at the disposal of many a Krilat, and the use of near all Asia's Vampires, Kuroichi may be too great a force to defeat. The Krilat Zmaj have grown immensly in power due to Kuroichi's secret powers. He wields three of the Seven Gems of the Ijuuj, and it seems as though his higher-ups have other mysterious abilities. Since his transformation, he now wields the Silver Forge, giving him the power to create the deadly Night Blades. His people are tied strongly to the Gyshram and Myrkur Aniol, and are allied with the Zugai. However, they face a threat at home from the Knubrap.
Members:
Takeda Kana, alias Kuroichi - ULX
Gwyar - The most ancient, wise, and powerful Vampires form the hallowed clan of the Gwyar. They show that Vampires truly are immortal, many of them present at the Crucifixion. It is rumored that their numbers include Dracula himself, and they are rumored to be lead by the very first Vampire. The Gwyar were led by Cain, the first Vampire, though he was killed by Zoku. While it seems they are led by Dracula, this is yet unclear. They vehemently oppose Kuroichi, forming an alliance with the Myrkur Aniol to help strike him down.
Members:
Zoku - kairiKIce2
Dusk - Sole-Energia
Neutral-
Sumiyaka - Methuselah
Humans-
Gene Colville - lil kitsune boy
Shimagawa Yukiko - JJRiddler
In Of Blades and Hunters, the Humans are going to play a much greater role as the five remaining members of the Project lash out at the Vampires of Japan. Any who wish to play as them need only PM me for information. However, any who wish to do so must have dedication and be a good RPer. These are important roles, and will not be handed out to just anyone.
--SIGN-UP SHEET--
Name: It should fit your region of origin. Remember that the Myrkur Aniol must have the name of an Angel.
Nickname: If you have one.
Age: From 20-2000.
Gender: Male or Female.
Species: While most will be Vampires, this is in case there's a human or two.
Clan: Not necessary for human players.
Appearance: Either a picture or a fairly detailed description.
Weapons: Keep it basic unless you are a Mirichai or Labareda.
Powers: Telekinesis, magic, Chi techniques, shadow control...keep it under control, let's say five powers/techniques each, and don't have too much power. Remember, Knubrap don't have much in the way of power, Zugai are reletively weak when it comes to energy and magic, and the Nyroma are incredible sorcerors.
Personality:
Bio: Not too long, but give me some info.
Other: Anything else you feel necessary to include.
Here's me:
Name: Kuroichi (Takeda Kana)
Nickname: Ginkami no Akuma or the Silver Haired Demon
Age: Around 500 years old
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Clan: Krilat Zmaj
Appearance: I have a picture somewhere, but until I find it...
Kuroichi is of average height, with a lean, muscular build, kept from years of martial arts. He has silver hair that reaches around shoulder length. His eyes are a deep gray that changes color based on his moods (or so he says). He is pale (he is a Vampire, after all), and his body is laced with scars, the most prominent a large gash across his chest. Despite this, he is quite handsome, known for seducing his female victims.
He now has two large black angel wings sprouting from his back, and the Silver Forge attached to his arm. This makes it hard for him to find good clothes, unfortunately for him. He wears a pair of rich black pants, a silver chain around his neck with a ruby-studded cross, and a fish-net tanktop that he has managed to pull over his wings.
Weapons: A katana that he calls Shinku no Umi (Crimson Sea), the Ruby of Blood, the Amethyst of the Night, the Emerald of Corpses, and the Silver Forge.
Powers: Kuroichi has the unique power to manipulate blood, be it his or another?s. He can change it into a very strong material, with which he crafts weapons, armor, and other structures. His favorite use for it is the Blood Mist, a cloud of incredibly small blood daggers that slowly cut anyone inside the mist to ribbons.
He also seems to command the Power, though instead of its usual Gold color, it is a dark red.
Thanks to the three Gems he holds, he has three more powers: the Ruby gives him the ability not only to manipulate blood ( apower he already had), but to create it, as well. The Amethyst gives him mysterious powers during the night hours, but so far it seems to manifest as an energy force much like the Power. The Emerald of Corpses can animate the bodies of the dead, as long as there is enough intact to animate.
Thanks to the Silver Forge, he also has the power to create the Night Blades. It has also given him more mysterious abilities, with shards of the three other gems studding it. This includes the creation of the Blood Spawn. What other powers may it hold?
Personality: Kuroichi is suave, cool, and in control no matter what the situation. He is incredibly wise, as well, a quick thinker and a devious planner. He can be very manipulative at times, leading people into thinking exactly what he wants.
When not conversing with pretty women or his equals, he can be very smug and cocky. He treats those he sees as inferior as inferiors, making his opinions of them known quite well. It takes a lot to earn his respect.
When in a fight, Kuroichi is condescending to his foes, trading witty banter and leading his opponent into stupid mistakes. He is sadistic, cold, calculating, and merciless.
Bio: Kuroichi (born Takeda Kana) was born during the Sengoku Period of Japan in the Kai province, shortly before Portuguese sailors reached Japan. He was trained in swordsmanship and the martial arts by his father, a high-ranking Samurai in Takeda Shingen's army. However, his father was killed in one of the Battles of Kawanakajima, the Battle of 1564. Kana was only in his early 20s.
Kana left his home in the Kai province, seeking fortune elsewhere. While walking out near Kawanakajima itself, he was accosted by a filthy soldier. Kana nearly defeated the man, but he lashed out with unnatural strength, and bit Kana's neck. Days later, Kana awoke late at night, and found himself a Vampire.
Kana was at first disgusted by his fate, casting off his name in favor of Kuroichi, meaning Black Blood. The name carried, but the disgust rapidly faded. He began to embrace his nature, learning to control his powers. His latent Power, a red energy force that could manipulate matter with no visible cause, was awoken during a fierce battle, the Siege of Osaka.
Kuroichi had seen many empires fall. At the beginning of the Meiji Era, he scorned the modernization and the destruction of the Samurai Class, aiding in a few attacks against the new government. But as the country finally settled down, Kuroichi took flight, seeking powerful warriors.
It was during a stay in Croatia, just before it?s becoming the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, Kuroichi met a powerful Vampire of the Nyroma Clan. The Vampire taught Kuroichi about the Vampire's existence, and their various Clans and past battles. Kuroichi did not believe that the Clans could last forever, and he and his teacher parted ways.
It was during World War II, in the puppet state that Croatia had become, that Kuroichi decided to attack the Clans and form a new government. He decided that the current system had been in power far too long, and that a new system needed to replace it. He returned to Japan and rallied the Japanese Vampires to form the Krilat Zmaj (a word learned during his stays in Croatia).
After his first attack on the Clans failed, Kuroichi decided to make the best of the situation, making the Krilat Zmaj the predominant Asian Clan. When the Japanese Government began the Project, he had to see what the "graduates" were capable of. He slaughtered many, turning some into Vampires, and left the others to hone their skills.
Now, he is sweeping across the globe, gathering the Hunters into his Clan. Soon, he will bring an end to the Clans. And he will be around to see the final results.
Other: Nothing, really.
If you read through the first part (here) or the second part (here) and see an NPC you want to be, feel free to sign up as them. Just PM me before-hand for the OK. Some Knubrap would be nice, as well as at least one of the Hunters.
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire
Weapons: Two sais
Powers: Shadow melding, orb magic (like in the appearance picture) and teleportation
Personality: Sexy and sassy, Lana loves to dabble in the affairs of human men. She loves to lure them into her traps, taking advantage of their complete infatuation with her. Human men frequently come to their end at her hands, as her thirst for their blood is unquenchable. Lana prefers rich young men that are willing to spend their fortune on her, mostly on diamonds. Devious, daring and deathly, Lana is a vampiress not to be messed with, especially if you a male.
Bio: Lana was born in the Sahara desert, near the Nile, where her vampire clan always dwelt. Growing up in ancient Egyptian pharaoh?s tombs, Lana perfected her shadow melding and orb magic by herself in the darkness. She yearned for civilisation and left the clan.
Most of their clan was wiped out by some mysterious force. Lana, sent by Keitha when sick with her blood rage, discovered the slaughter of her clan and brought Nye, the young Lord, and few others, back to Australia. But, in a spell of her newly found blood rage, Keitha killed what remained of the Gyshram and intented to kill Nye. She stabbed him with one of Lana's sais, came back to reality, realised what she had done and fled. Colville, a priest, was sent by an infuriated Lana to fetch her Lady back. Doing the best she could for Nye, Lana now awaits for her Lady to return to her presence.
Glad to be back. I see that my throne is under threat, but what are you gonna do?
Name: Zuriel
Nickname: Nightbringer
Age: 680
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Clan: Myrkur Aniol
Appearance: Zuriel is around 6'3", with black hair streaked with red, which was once spiked up but has now fallen down over his face, his eyes are orange with yellow centres, his chest is now covered by a blood-red armour plate.
Weapons: The Harbinger-The first of the Night-Blades, given to Zuriel by Kuroichi. since he has received it, he has put his blood on it, making it change to the form he wishes. It is now a 5 foot long katana with a spiked hilt, and it burns anyone who touches it, even Zuriel, so he wears a gauntlet made of a new type of metal forged by the Myrkur Aniol, which protects him from it's power.
Powers: Telekinesis, fire-casting abilities
The Skull Sapphire-Given to him by Zoku, Zuriel has only used this gem once, and that was only due to unseen circumstances. With it, he can summon an army of skeletons to do his bidding, or use it to strip the flesh off the bones of other vampires, leaving them as a living skeleton, forced to do Zuriel's bidding.
Personality: Over the last few months since Australia, Zuriel has become a devoted follower of Abaddon's beliefs. He refuses to drink the blood of humans, instead only drinking that of other vampires. He tries to go out of his way to protect humans who may get injured in any battles he fights. He will not kill an unarmed enemy for no reason. Also, he has become increasingly paranoid about his own power. He dislikes using the Harbinger in battle, and even though he has full control over it, he still fears the power of the Skull Sapphire.
Bio: A young man by the name of Jacob was brought up by his uncle and aunt in the Middle East, and they despised the child. He was routinely abused and tortured at the hands of his unkind relatives. When he was ten, he stowed away on a boat from his hometown and travelled illegally to China. He lived on the streets here, making jewellery to scrape a living. He was found at the age of 12 by a wise young man who took him in. He was trained by this man to join the Chinese army, in preparation for his future. He was taught how to fight, both unarmed and armed, and he became extremely proficient in both forms of combat. Then, when he was 19, he joined the army as a footsoldier.
But one night, when he was making his way across the battlefield, a dead soldier from the opposing army rose to his feet and bit Jacob on the neck. He passed out from loss of blood, and when he awoke in the medical tent, he attacked the other men in there with him, killing them all. He ran from his fate, which was to be executed by the General, into the woods, where he lived as a feral beast for many years, feeding off the blood of small woodland animals.
Within three years, he was found by a member of the Myrkur Aniol Clan, who took him to the rest of the Clan. He was deemed fit to enter their ranks, and gradually recovered from his feral state. He has since proved himself one of their most worthy warriors, and has moved all the way from being a feral creature to being a well-spoken, wise-cracking member of the Clan. He took his name when he had been a Vampire for 9 years, from a more senior Vampire who had fallen in battle protecting him. He has seen many of the tortures of the world, and this has given him a strong bloodlust and poweful hunter's instincts. The first thing he did when he was a fully-seasoned Vampire warrior was go back to the Middle East and torture his aunt and uncle mercilessly, before killing them and leaving their bodies for the hounds to feast on. He has since visited the man who took him in in China and turned him, allowing him eternal life in return for everything he had ever done.
As he travelled to Australia, the puppet leader of the Myrkur Aniol died, leaving Zuriel the throne. The Seraphic legions of the clan opposed this, and Zuriel clashed with Abaddon, the greatest warrior the clan had ever seen. He won, and took the true crown. He has clashed with Zoku, becoming allies with him, and Kuroichi, who gifted him with the Harbinger, first of the mighty Night-Blades. He now holds the Skull Sapphire and the Harbinger, making him a formidable opponent.
(OOC: Sorry if the bio's a bit long, ULX, but I had to get everything in!)
Name: Zoku
Age: 4000
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Clan: Gwyar (Is still loyal to his master Kuroichi however)
Appearance: Standing about 6'2'', his size is thick with a muscular form to his body, making him look like what can be described as a behemoth. With his long black hair coming down to his waist...with a tint of silver glowing from his hair when shined upon in the moonlight. His eyes are a pure aqua-blue (Riddick Style). Zoku wears a basic tight black shirt, trench coat with black pants and boots, as well as gloves with a silver earing in his left ear.
Weapons: (weilds both)
Oblivion: Forged from his masters' two ancient scimitars (a gift given to him by Caine himself)...Zoku now weilds a 7 foot long katana (think of Sephiroth) which he carries on his back.
Oblivion X: One of the Night Blades, a gift from Kuroichi himself. He has never used it since he was given the blade, and weilds it on his left side. (see thumbnail below, middle weapon)
Powers: As a human...Zoku always had trouble controling his KI powers. He was just as strong as any other Vampire, but always had to meditate in order to keep himself under control. Now as a Vampire, if he could fight with even Kuroichi himself in terms of speed and strength...imagine him now as a vampire. His power has grown to the point where KI blasts don't even affect him. He could use KI...but choices to uses his basic skills unless needed.
He is immune to silver, crosses and garlic...and is very resistant to sunlight...however needs to take cover of darkness over time.
Moonstone of Darkness: Zoku still is trying to learn the full extent of the power within the gem. Training to become its master, and not having the darkness within to control himself.
Personality: Zoku has an uncontrable lust for blood...he constantly feeds on vampires and humans alike. He endulges himself in any desire he sets his eyes upon...thus becoming a pure killer. He still has a heart...but bows to no one. He no longer feels confused and lost; now he's very strong and firm within himself and his abilities. His only weakness are the distant memories of his feelings for Keitha.
Bio: (this will explain any confusion above)
2000 years ago...as a child Zoku was bitten by a vampire. But an archangel cursed him, taking the vampire within him out...but leaving the thirst to kill...to spill anothers blood; and it would never be satisfied. Whenever Zoku died...he would come back in another life still contaning the memories of his past...as well as his strengths. Over 2000 years, as a human he learned to control massive amounts of KI within himself...his strength and speed was incredible, especially for a human. And as wise and pure as he tried to make himself out to be...he was always torn by the demon side within him.
When he was taking refuge in Dracula's castle...after giving the Death Diamond and Sapphire of Skulls to Kyu. He lost control and snapped in his bedroom...crying out for someone to help him before the demon took hold. But the lord of the Grysham came and broke him and his friendship for Keitha. Zoku had grown attached to her...and even began to like her, still knowing that it couldn't be possible. So after he was attacked by the high lord...Zoku fled and ravaged his anger and killing against every town he came upon.
Caine came to him, trying to help the pour human. Taking it upon himself...Caine turned Zoku...in a hope that he would protect him when the fellow Gwyar turned against him. However...the Dark Moonstone took hold of him unleashing the evil within Zoku and he killed Caine himself with his guard down.
Since that time, Zoku has killed the leader of the Ijuuj, Night Rider, and the Grysham Lord David. During his time in Australia, he has given all but one gem, the Moonstone of Darkness. The Pearl Fang and Death Diamond reside with Dusk, the Opal of Thirst, given to Keitha, and the Sapphire of Skulls with Zuriel. His loyalty for Kuroichi is unflinching...however choses to fight against the Krilat Zmaj and there ways for now. Currently is in allegance with the Gwyar and the Myrkur...but only respects Zuriel, Dusk and Dracula.
Ever since giving up the Opal of Thirst to Keitha...Zoku has been feeding, turning more and more humans into vampires for his own personal army. They are all marked with a red line, circling around that vampires pupil, the mark of Cain. Currently wandering the lands of America...searching out the other clans which reside there; the Knubrap, the Labareda, and the Mirichai. To what extent are his purposes?...to convince them to join his alliances cause...or to merely kill them all.
Recently he's discovered that the fire, darkness, and light energy that resides in him is much more powerfull and proficient then his other elements. He can create objects from the light and shadows.
He also posses the ability to levitate and is has mastered using his chi. Before he could only focus it into his hands and launch small amounts at his opponents. Now he can summon large amounts at any given time.
His last ability is a strong hold over others, mostly humans. He needs only to talk with them for a period of time or look them directly in their eyes and they?re at his beck and call. Doesn?t work to the same extent on vampires.
Personality: Dusk has almost nothing left in him of the other beings he once was. He's now unpredictable and potentially dangerous, but as an ally he's an unparalleled asset. He harbors a deep seeded hatred for Kuroichi, but cannot bring himself to hate Sumiyaka.
Bio: After arriving in Sydney he soon started his search for Sumiyaka. Though at first it was uneventful and fruitless, he eventually ran into his old acquaintance, Zoku. Zoku, once again pledging loyalty to Kuroichi, tried to convince Dusk to become evil and join Kuroichi.
Dusk, unsure of what to do, continued his search for his friend, and finally made headway. However, when he found her she was in the arms of Kuroichi, and in his confusion he agreed to join Kuroichi. Shortly afterwards he encountered Dracula and Zuriel, challenging them to battle. It was then that he was overcome with his final transformation, becoming the being he is now.
As he was ready to finish his opponents, Zoku stopped him and proposed that they turn against Kuroichi and keep his from having his way. He also proposed to help Dusk bring his new powers under control. Now, with new power and a new blade provided by his enemy, Dusk is ready to take down Kuroichi no matter what the cost. Even if he must confront Beth...
Other: At times it can appear that he is cold, heartless, and sarcastic, but he's really considerate at heart. He views this as a weakness of sorts, however. Also, he took the title of Dusk, the Phoenix when Kuroichi adressed him as the phoenix when he sent his gift. He only, however, uses this title in battle.
Name: Sumiyaka (Formerly Elizabeth Archer)
Nickname: Breeze
Age: 1700
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire
Clan: Neutral
Appearance: Sumiyaka
Weapons: Whereas Sumiyaka used to be one of the more passive Vampires, no fan of blood shed and unnecessary violence; she has changed considerably since her first meeting with Kuroichi. She now uses a simple shinai, which she wields with great skill. She also uses a knife, which she keeps hidden in her top, it's light and can be thrown easily.
She now also uses the South Wind, a weapon given to her by Kuroichi.
Powers: Sumiyaka is very skilled in manipulating her Chi energy. She has mastered basic techniques like Barrier and a simple blow, but apart from those two she also has another powerful attack.
After reciting an incantation, Sumiyaka is able to launch a powerful 'Death Blow' that can knock most foes to the ground, Depending on how well trained and how powerful her opponent is obviously determines the damage, though even the likes of Kuroichi would feel a sting form this attack.
Sumiyaka has now fully mastered the art of Shadow Manipulation. Her puppets are powerful and can block basic attacks and ever weapons. She usually uses them when she is backed into a corner and has no other choice. Afterwards, Sumiyaka is drained and needs to regain her strength by feeding, something she still regrets.
Personality: Sumiyaka is a recluse, plain and simple. She takes no pleasure in others pain and regrets that the only way she can survive is to feed on others blood. When she can, she will find a hospital and break into their stores, feeding on the medical supplies instead, it's something that other vampires have scolded her for.
She is, however, a fighter and refuses to give up even when she's in the most dire of situations. She's also grown to be quite arrogant, refusing help form others when she needs it most.
Bio: Back when Sumiyaka with the Gwyar clan, she was a follower...a puppet that the elders manipulated. She was powerful but had no will and that was what pulled her right down below her friends. Now, Sumiyaka has left her clan and one of her best friends behind, she refuses to even acknowledge her old name and is known only as Breeze, or Sumiyaka.
She gained this nickname from her travels in Japan when a woman who 'disappeared like the wind' was reported to be seen in a hospital, feeding on cold blood stores.
After tracking down Kuroichi, Sumiyaka decided to join with him and became his lover, the reasons behind this decision are still unknown, but Sumiyaka is settling into the power she now holds nicely.
She was granted the South Wing, a weapon forged by Kuroichi himself and she practices constantly, wielding it expertly along with her shinai. She is either a brilliant actress or is actually falling in love with Kuroichi, she does whatever he asks and seems to thoroughly enjoy his company though she has been talking to Dusk much more since his arrival.
Other: Sumiyaka is rather paranoid; any mention of her old clan members sets her off. She is also known to love children; she will risk her life if one is in danger.
And there we have it, children. Thank you for waiting..
Age: 1000
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire
Clan: Directly loyal to Kuroichi and once the Shadow Assassin for the Gyshram
Appearance: At first glance Keitha looks to be the picture perfect beauty. Her curvy frame, strong buttocks and large bust line. Her long crimson hair was once always pulled back at the base of her neck, Kietha's long hair stretches to the small of her back in a display of her age and ability. Caught in her lust, Kietha's eyes burn a dark amber ready to kill, but when brought back to reality her glorious green eyes flash their soft light.
Weapons: A simple katana named Chaela. The Assassin's Heart, given to her by Kuroichi, its powers hidden to Kietha and her darkness. The gorgoues blade is similarly crafted like that of her own Chaela, but far more beautiful.
Powers: To manipulate shadows and untouched stealth.
Personality: Once known for her quiet and hidden talents, Kietha has become well-known through out the world as her lust continues to grow. Unable to control herself, Kietha has become a threat to all those that oppose Kuroichi. She loves to play with powerful and strong men.
When Serio finally told Kietha of his true life, she asked to be his enternal lover. After a long fought battle with Kuroichi, Kietha had no more strength to give. When word spread of Kuroichi wanting to take over the clans, Kietha was quick to her feet. She advised Lady Liltha and Lord David to join Kuroichi in his fight telling them that their clan was no much against Kuroichi. But after much plotting, Kietha's motives began to become unclear. She had aquired the Death Diamond and had given it to Zoku, Kuroichi's most powerful advosiary. After learning all she could of Zoku, Kietha joined him on an outing to meet up with Dracula, LeStat and Kyo. There she had discovered their plot against Kuroichi. But the Shadow Assassin didn't seem to be choosing sides, but she had clearly stated to Zoku that she wanted the clans unitied.
After the death of David and Lilth at the hands of Zoku and the changing of alliances, Kietha began to lose herself. While in Australia with Lana, Kietha found herself in a tanglement with Zoku. Unable to control herself, Kietha drew blood from Zoku and there for brought herself back to the days when she was given her name, Shadow Assassin. Unable to control her lust and always wanting more of Zoku, Kietha found herself destroying all that was against Kuroichi and eventually leading Lana to turn on her. Upon recieving Lana's sai into her right shoulder, Kietha and Colville went to the hotel Nye, Lana and the remaining Gyshram were hiding. Killing all and nearly killing Nye, Kietha was brought back to her humble self. Realizing she had nearly destroyed everything she had worked for, she disappeared into the Outback where she met up with Zoku and recieved the Opal of thirst to help control her thrist.
Glad to see you back, Sole, kairiKIce2, demonchild781, amgoddess, Blayze, lil kitsune boy, and Methuselah. Your characters just keep getting more and more interesting, and I can't wait to see where things go now.
Tash, Neuvoxetere, you're in. However, gotta say no to ultratheone. While your character does seem cool, I'm not to keen on the Dampeel idea. Plus, if he wants to kill all Vampires, it doesn't make much sense for him to be a Gyshram. Especially since almost all of them are dead.
I'm keeping this open until Methuselah finishes hers, and to see if Midnytsun wants back in. Oh, and to see if I get a Hunter from the Project. I might have to go find someone to play the role, since at least one is kind of necessary. If none of these things happen by Friday, it's opening anyway. So, just wait 'til then, all right?
Name// King Jarrah
Nickname// Abbadon the Destroyer
Age// Approximately 400 years, Jarrah looks nothing but a day over 32
Gender// Male
Species// Vampire
Clan// Zugai
Appearance// King Jarrah
A man of brute strength and burliness who's appearance is fierce and intimidating, pressing fear into those who take a glance at him, is who King Jarrah is. He stands at a height of 7' with pure white eyes that allows Jarrah to look deep into the souls of his adversaries and allies, dark skin that was created from his Aborigine heritage, and scars that decorate his body and remind those that he is not only vampire, but a demon who was derived from the very hell that everyone fears. Yet, a strange scar appears at the center of his chest in the image of a crimson X. It is unsure how he received this scar, as it is unsure of how he had become to portray a demonic man of hell.
Jarrah has iron-like skin which makes many attacks upon him impenetrable. He carries the Jawbone in his hands, but at times he will keep it in its sheath on his back, along with several smaller throwing axes in a knife sheath wrapped around his waist. His voice sounds that of a deep, Australian accent with a hint of Russian, or perhaps German, hidden beneath his tone.
Being a barbaric man, Jarrah rarely wears anything to cover himself. He wears only baggy black shorts, an axe holder on his back, finger gloves that have spikes right below his knuckles, at times a dark gray tank top that appears to be ripped at several places, along with boots that were custom made by himself to create a shin guard with spikes clipped around his ankles, and to finalize his outfit is a mouth cover that is made from steel and leather. But when a formal gathering is called for, Jarrah despises wearing anything that conceals his free body. He will wear silky black pants with a white shirt, pinstripe jacket, and a dark colored tie, also wearing formal shoes.
Weapons// The Night Blade, known as The Jawbone, was given to Jarrah by Kuroichi. Its unbreakable bond with Jarrah makes it one of the most powerful weapons alive. Since it was created from Kuroichi's Silver Forge, it has a strange power that illuminates from itself once in a while, only when Jarrah is in need of it most.
At other times, Jarrah carries around a spiked mace that is covered with a strange poison and is not yet known to humankind. It is the second most deadly weapon that the Zugai know of.
Powers// Magic is unnecessary when it comes to Jarrah. The Zugai are known for their berserk ways and do not use magic, for they are rather weak in that area. But Jarrah, on the other hand, is able to surge electricity throughout his body and release it any given moment. He is one whose emotions are connected to the elements, having a direct point to each element. Yet, Jarrah is one who'd rather use his strength, force, and power, rather than his weakening magic.
Disliking the use of magic, Jarrah relies mostly on his strength, invulnerability, and his Night Blade, the Jawbone, to create masses of death. His iron skin makes him impenetrable and hard to kill, nothing of human weaponry could puncture or wound him. For a man of his size and structure, Jarrah is the fastest of the Zugai, as well as the most furtive, but also, he is a mammoth of a vampire, which makes him the deadliest, next to the elders and Kuroichi.
Personality// Ruthless, volatile, and coarse. No one and nothing stands in Jarrah?s way and if the do, their fate is held the moment Jarrah?s colorless eyes meet theirs. He is the strongest, deadliest, and most powerful of the clan, being that he is the leader of the clan. He is aggressive and militant, even cool and level-headed at times, but he can be reasonable and understanding, at the most, Jarrah can give mercy. He can also be lighthearted and deceptive, but with good intentions.
Unlike Kuroichi, Jarrah loves to taunt his foes, watching them squirm under his might and laughing at their demise. If Jarrah despised someone, he tended to show it often and let it be known to all, for there are little things that could upset or bring hatred into Jarrah?s heart, for respect and trust doesn?t come often with Jarrah. He was a man who had morals and beliefs, and if they should be belittled, then he will not allow anyone to take then and turn them wicked. He also believes in what goes around must come around. With such might and intimidation, Jarrah never means to hurt anyone, unless a reason should arise, as well as jump into battle or start a bout, yet, it all depends on the circumstances.
When Jarrah is not doing anything, and only relaxing with his equals and the women that surround them, he is calm and tranquil, almost like the sea. He is playful at hand and will bring laughter into the air and smiles on everyone?s face, even if a loss has been created. He knows that even the dead would want the living to smile and drink in their honor. He is well known for his ways in altercations, for he is known to have a cold heart and a jaded soul, never stopping for anything or anyone.
If there ever was a brawl that Jarrah was in, all know that there must be a reason for Jarrah is not the typical brute who shows his strength wherever he may go. Moreover, Jarrah has morals and beliefs that he stands by, and will not let anyone take them and turn them wicked.
Bio// Living as royalty in England, Jarrah was once Valon and his people were no strangers to this land. They had been there, protecting and serving the king for as long as he could remember, and even before his birth. His people were strong and rich in morals. There was none like them and there would be none like them for eternity. As a descendant of great royalty and fearless fighters, Valon was one of many to experience the feel of war as his people helped the British army in some of their fights. They were not savage nor were they beastly, they were well dressed and most became diplomats or even advisors for dukes and emperors and such. What little did they know when England began to turn on them as the streets became paved with broken homes and dark nights became horrid. His people still kept with the British royalty, even when several of them were accused of wrongdoings, when in fact, they were the most pure of all who have lived in England.
Darkness overcame England, people feared to walk out at night, and others welcomed the shadows as their companions. Several times, there were many crimes committed and all were pointed to Valon?s tribe of Aborigine warriors. They were thought to be murderers and criminals who stole and raped, killed and kidnapped. Soon after these accusations, all was cleared, but still, things turned for the worst as a true darkening night engulfed all of England. For quite some time, Valon and his warriors tried hard to see what was out there. They tried hard to keep the streets of England clean and safe. The streets were covered with blood and people began to become missing from their homes. Several wound up dead, others were never found, while those who were near, smirked and walked away, enjoying the terror they saw in the peoples? eyes.
Valon had no choice but to find out who was supposedly murdering these people. He had to know why two punctures occurred in each of the victims who came across this madman. He took several of the strongest warriors and took to the night, walking furtively, hoping not to be seen by anyone. Yet, it happened in the darkest of alleys, the hideous of places, and the most deadly man had crept upon them, taking each of them with him to turn them into soldiers of obscurity, knights of death, and creatures of destruction. This man was a vampire, the cruelest and blood thirstiest of them of all.
The devil?s work as the king called it, vampires, who were once good men, become men of Satan, sent out to take any who were willing to give their soul and feed the Evil One and strengthen his soul. Learning this, fear surely struck in the denizens of England and those who walked out at night, never came back to see the morning dew. Once again, his tribe was accused of being vampires. The king began to confirm that these people were not the ones that the people loathed. At this moment, a promise was made to capture this vampire and kill the others who stood in his way. All doubted, but those who doubted, were soon to be mistaken.
Night after night, he waited for this master criminal, while avoiding the guards who walked the streets. There was not much he could do, until a scream entered his mind. Upon coming to the scene, he stood there, ready with his axe, waiting for the moment this master of death walkers stood and faced him. Just as soon as he did, Valon was a bit of a sloth to outwit and outrun him. His reflexes, too slow, and soon enough, he was a victim, as was his people. They exiled from England, never to return, knowing that they were contaminated with the viral disease that made them vulnerable to the things that they once loved.
Years later, he now leads the Zugai clan, a clan of vampires who are ruthless and cold. Heartless and terrible, but none compare to Valon, who had changed his name to Jarrah, also known as Abbadon the Destroyer. He was heartless man who had soon become the subject of bitter hatred for those who had seen his evil and those who escaped from his narrow massacres. He who crosses Jarrah will surely, without fail, fall to his knees and see Jarrah?s merciless and cold heart.
OOC: Sorry it took so long. Hope everythings in order.
Name: Shimagawa Yukiko (Family Name First)
Nickname: Flowing River
Age: 22
Gender: Female.
Species: Human
Appearance: This is her
Weapons: Besides her body, Yukiko caries knifes that are hidden by whatever outfit she wears. She also carries a Charles Daly Classic 1873 that ?s inscribed at the hilt. It says ?To My Little River?. Although she doesn?t carry them with her, Yukiko has been trained in Sais.
Powers: Telekinesis
Personality: Yukiko is a very laid back person. She mostly keeps to herself and doesn?t branch out to try and make friends. She has very few friends, for with her job, she fears for their lives. She tends to fret about them in the most unnatural times, and it?s gotten her into a tussle more than once.
Yukiko keeps a cool head in battle. She doesn?t talk much, and has been known to kill vampires that are clumsy before they can hear her.
Lately, she's been on edge though, so she's been known to snap at the drop of a dime.
Bio: Yukiko grew up in an average Japanese family. Her father worked for a big company, and her mother stayed home to take care of Yukiko. Everything in her life was going pretty well until her father died. He was driving home from work and hit a patch of black ice. He slid of the road and into a pond where he froze to death.
Yukiko was only seven at the time, and she went into a state of shock. Anytime her mother tried to talk to her, something flew at her, forcing her to quickly shut the door. At the time, she just thought it was Yukiko throwing things, but it wasn?t. Yukiko had slept under her covers most of the time, and she just screamed at her mother anytime she came in.
The Japanese government visited the Shimagawa household about a week after the father died. They claimed that Yukiko had scored incredibly high on an intelligence test the school had conducted. They showed her a pamplet over a boarding school for her where she would get the best education possible. Her mother agreed happily, packing Yukiko up and sending her out.
When Yukiko arrived, the true nature of the school shined through, and her training began. She was to become a weapon against the threat of the vampires. She was to humanity?s last stand against the vile creatures that stole blood from the innocent to feed their bloodlust. They explained that because of her unique telekinesis abilities, she could bend the objects around her to fight them.
She trained for ten years under the various teachers. She was trained in almost every martial art known to man. During this time, they also homed in on her telekinesis, training her to bend metal as thick as 3 inches. She left at 17 and went out to test out her new abilities. Taking out a small group of vampires with some help from a couple of other students, Yukiko began to feel the rush she got from the kill.
Yukiko began to thirve for the kill, hunting random targets the government provided for her. Two years after she left, the government threw the new ?Hunters? out as a giant group to test the vampires. That in itself was one of the biggest mistakes it could have made. Although the battle started out alright for the Hunters, the tides soon turned as the vampires seemed to just come back after they were struck down. Soon, the Hunters began to die, and Yukiko realized that this was a lost battle and she fought her way to the safe point. From there, she hijacked a truck and drove away, brining with her a couple of people she had helped on the way there.
She left the government, has worked as assassin for the Japanese mafia, and only recently took up the vampires again. One of the Hunters she had saved two years ago called her and told her that there was only five people left from Project: Hunter, and the others wanted to strike against the vampires after the massacre at the wharf. Yukiko declined, saying she was done with that.
It took only the murder of her mother at the hands of the clan of vampires to get Yukiko?s blood boiling. She and the others have been planning their revenge, plotting and waiting for the perfect time.
Other: Yukiko doesn?t agree with all of the others methods, but in her mind its all to revenge her mother.
Name: Julia Ricarda Izabel La?reina Vargas
Nickname: n/a
Age: c. 450
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire
Clan: Labareda
Appearance: see attachment
Weapons: The weapons that are in the control of Julia Vargas are a hoard of assorted arms that are used, dealt, and sometimes produced by the Labareda clan. This massive stockpile ranges from small arms, charges, explosives, and munitions to artillery, secret aircraft, vessels, vehicles, and submarines. The Labareda clan also keeps a thorough collection of top-of-the-line electronics equipment, and the leader of the Labareda clan herself oversees the careful research and limited manufacture of chemical and bio-weapons. The Labareda clan also keeps accounts of all foreign equipment, and has a well-established international network that can acquire almost any type of weaponry or technology that is available when needed. Though the majority of the Labareda stock is made up of modern weaponry and armaments, there is also a thorough and detailed collection of older weapons, such as swords, bows, and the likes.
Powers: Julia has grown immune to sunlight, and can walk as easily in the day as in the night, although without her usual entourage. She also has the ability to manipulate the particles and waves of light, as well as the waves of sound. Vampires, as they are no longer human, are extremely sensitive to sound, and Julia can use this to her full advantage.
Personality: Julia is commonly mistaken for a human. She lacks the usual traits that tell of a vampire: she is not arrogant but always in control; neither is she feared but instead respected; and she never shows fear herself but is entirely and realistically confident in her abilities. In fact, Julia is very benevolent, generous, and generally well-liked. She is able to control her clan without the use of force, but also has the power to punish whom she must. She is disciplined yet approachable, and can be altogether ambiguous. However, she despises the violation of trust, and if one does so, she shows no mercy to that individual. She allows no discrimination between human and vampire when she conducts business, and indeed expects the members of the Labareda clan to act as she does, holding high standards in business and general behavior.
Bio: Born to a human mother and vampire father, Julia became human in the womb. She was born a human baby, not yet filled with a longing for life?s liquid. She was raised in the Labareda clan as a human as well. Her father was a trusted councilor of the head of clan Labareda who had ruled for almost 2000 years. She had a happy childhood as the human daughter of this councilor, and even the head of the clan had a fondness for her. The Labareda founder had no children or heirs, and so afterwards named her his heir in Julia?s 24th year of life. During this ceremony she was transformed into a vampire by the Labareda founder himself, and so started the second half of her life under his tutelage. Her parents both passed away, as her mother had a human lifespan, and her father was assassinated. The founder taught her and brought her up further in his ways, and she quickly gained the respect of the rest of the clan.
After a time, the Labareda founder disappeared, and no one could find his whereabouts. Julia then took the leadership position, but kept her own name. The clan remains Labareda, and she has ruled it well, making it flourish under her wisdom. All members are quite loyal to her, and she even employs human workers. The clan is established in the city of Rio de Janeiro, and for the most part their presence, if noticed, is respectable and at times even helpful. She has made the clan an irreplaceable piece of the economy of Brazil, and wields great power and influence without inspiring fear or threat. She holds a careful balance in her hands, and does it perfectly.
Name: Yagajishi (The Night is the Lion)
Nickname: Master of Babel
Age: Estimated age - 1500
Race: Vampire
Clan: Neutral
Gender: Male
Nationality: Japan
Weapons:
Black Box: A small, black box encrusted with a magnificent black pearl. The pearl has a vague white haze that makes it resemble an eye. The inside of the box is framed with thin sheets of gold and silver set in diamond patterns. The box is filled with red, green, and blue pills.
Red Pill: Chikewai: (Blood Paint): Consumption of the red pill bloats up the blood vessels in the body until it bursts, saturating the entire body with blood. Obviously, if any human takes this pill, it would mean death. If an ordinary vampire takes it, it would temporarily render them powerless until the lost blood seeps back into them. For Yagajishi, it has an interesting side effect of dramatically increasing the rate at which his heart pumps blood through out his body. This sends him into a state of frenzy, his vision clouded by a veil of blood. In this state, his strength and agility are doubled, fueled by the increase in blood production and circulation.
Green Pill: Sabi: (Rust): A paralytic venom that congeals into a green substance, the green pill simply gives Yagajishi's claw and bite a paralyzing effect. The paralysis is not immediate in nature. Like the formation of a rust, the paralysis comes slowly, hampering the movement and thought process subtly until the body and mind becomes virtually immobilized, leaving the victim helpless to be torn apart by Yagajishi's feral claws. If taken by a human, it would mean slow painful death as the mind and body deteriorates. When taken by any vampire other than Yagajishi, the effect would be the same, granting the vampire a paralyzing bite and claw. However, the venom would slowly work its way around the vampire's system, eventually rendering it paralyzed.
Blue Pill: Nen: (Thought): A pill that grants great mental power and at the same time a great deal of mental duress, the blue pill enhances the mental awareness by threefold. As a result, this increases the amount of information that the brain collects by threefold, which is enough to burn up anyone's brain that is not up to capacity. At the same time, it also increases the power exerted by the brain by threefold, granting powers that are psychic in nature. Use of this pill is very much limited for Yagajishi, partly because he rarely finds the need for it, and partly because the feedback effects that later haunt him are usually too excruciating to bear.
Ability:
Kotodama: (Word Spirit, also known as Babel Mastery): Words are powerful tools to bring about change in this world. The Japanese people knew this and gave the name of "kotodama" to the mystic powers that word possessed. This name, in turn, opened up an entirely new realm of word usage, particularly in forms of cursing and blessing. Where spirits never existed, humankind gave it a name, thus granting the existence of a spirit. Yagajishi was quick to take immediate control of this spirit after its birth into existence, which granted him an arcane power to cause something by simple command of the word.
On a side note, this ability is also called Babel Mastery in western vampiric traditions. It is rumored that whoever speaks the original language the world spoke before the incident at the Tower of Babel possess the ability to command the very fabric of this world at will.
Appearance:
Bio: The precise dates and origins of Yagajishi has never been known. It is rumored that he was the first vampire that crossed the turmoil of the sea to spread the vampiric seed in Japan, but this is highly unlikely when considering the fact that Yagajishi himself is devastatingly weak to large bodies of water. In any case, the earliest records that indicate of his presence in Japan date to roughly 1170. The Genji warlord Minamotono Yoshitsune is said to have been trained by a Tengu, a humanoid demon, during his youth in the Kurama Temple. The Tengu of Kurama Temple, a source of countless fairytales and folklore, was Yagajishi.
As centuries passed by, Japan underwent many changes. Yagajishi witnessed first hand the clashes and strife of mankind in the chaotic Sengoku era of Japan. As he watched, sometimes as a mere observer and at other times an all too powerful participant, he began to wonder if the vampiric race were any different from the human race. If the humans were this destructive, then how great and catastrophic would the vampiric wars be? The very thought sent shivers down his spine.
By the end of the Sengoku era, Yagajishi's single objective became to participate in the inevitable coming of the vampiric war. As each passing human war increased in its destructive magnitude, the anxious joy in Yagajishi grew, imagining how terrible and at the same time how majestically great the vampiric war would be. He honed his abilities, his combat techniques, his mind, and his body. At long last, after he witnessed and felt the nuclear blast of the Second World War, he began detecting a steady accumulation of others like him, the presence of vampires. With feral, anxious joy he awaits for the war to begin...
Name: Jeulnelune
Nickname: WhirlWind, also known as the Butcher of Gyshram
Age: Active in the Crucifixion, age at that time is unknown.
Gender: Male
Species: Ancient Vampire
Clan: Gwyar
Appearance: See attachment
Weapons: Enieffac La?sourcus, crafted of the stone Cain used to kill Abel. This seven foot long sword is vorpal, and no armor can resist it. At his will it can burn black fire, or deliver a highly toxic venom to kill those who survive its bite.
Powers: Can phase in and out of reality, appearing easily at another location up to fifteen feet away. He has all the standard vampire powers, but few of their weaknesses. As one of the Ancient Vampires, only a stake made of the True Cross can put him to rest forever. Jeulnelune can open a rift in the space time continuum and launch vast electrical power from it. He is an incredibly skilled sowrdsman, and posseses decent abilities with a gun as well.
He also possesses an incredible charm, with the same sentence he can sweep an artiste and a soldier off of their lovely female feet. No human women, and few extra-human women can resist him.
Personality: Incredibly calm and calculating, his face is immune to all external stimulation. His vast intelligence and quick thinking allow him to understand and react to a situation long before most people can move. He gets what he wants, although for his mentor, Vlad Dracula, and his closest ally, LeStat he has the highest respect, and will not go against them. His mercy toward human women is unusual for an ancient evil of his caliber, but as he is often quoted saying, ?I have been in both Heaven and Hell, and these human women bring back memories of both.?
Bio:
When he is near, every heart begins to hammer, an animal instinct, the adrenal release in response to fear. Even the hearts on cards throb, and he dances to the beat. Few creatures on earth or below it inspire this kind of terror, yet few creatures have ever existed who would pierce the side of the Christ with a spear. Few of the denizens of the night would dare speak to the Christ, let alone wound Him.
He nearly died of a Holy Fire that dark day, but he sheer will to exist and the terrible nature of his evil allowed him to survive. Jeulnelune joined the Roman army simply for that honor, the honor of surviving the wrath of angels. Not even Vlad Dracula knows from where he came, only that he first met the WhirlWind (as Jeulnelune later became known) a day after the death of Christ.
The two devils stared each other down for many days, but neither could prevail. Parting ways for the next two hundred years, they only heard rumors of the other?s exploits. Eventually, LeStat, Jeulnelune?s closest ally and only true friend, convinced him to join Gwyar, as only truly ancient and fearsome evils can. His presence in the Clan Wars was barely felt, but the Krillat Zmaj?s troubles could not be summed up in the three names of Dracula, LeStat, and Zoku.
For many years he wondered the shadows, smashing uprisings of other vampires and holy forces wherever he went. The mighty blade Enieffac La?sorcus, forged of a fragment of the rock Cain used to murder Abel, struck swifter than lightning and harder than the tidal wave. It?s vorpal edge cut effortlessly through the armor of the Krillat Zmaj?s agents. He waged a secret war, floating in and out of reality with ethereal dexterity, delivering the coup de grace on many of his enemy?s plans and leaders. He exacted particularly terrible wrath upon the Clan of Gyshram, murdering untold numbers of their operatives under the blessing of the real butcher of Gyshram, Zoku. In all his murder, he never once held prejudice or hate against his enemies, he is a pure lover of battle.
Finally, in the 1950's, the great great grandson of Dr. Van Helsing stabbed him with a piece of the True Cross, however the hunter missed his heart, landing the blow on the shoulder instead. After killing van Helsing, Jeulnelune hid in his palace in the Arctic for many years, recovering from the near fatal blow. He recovered through the ministrations of the demon Lillith and the fallen angel Valeriel.
Now the WhirlWind, wielder of the Enieffac La?sourcus, Jeulnelune ride forth from the icy north, heeding the call of Vlad Dracula, and with full knowledge that the wars of the Clans may be reaching its climax.
