Jordan had just finished stuffing his bag full of his text books for his homework that night. The bag was really heavy today, but that was the last thing that Jordan had on his mind. He was late for his swim practice today and he had already been once this week. Thank goodness it was Friday because he couldn't get through another day this week.

Jordan was in such a rush that he already had his shirt off and was running down the hallway towards the locker room, praying that no one stopped him. Of coarse his luck isn't the best in the world so something had to happen. He tripped for a moment. Instead of landing on his face he kept his balance, but that did not stop his bag from coming open and his books spilling out from his bag. He cursed under his breath as he rushed to get the books back in his bag.

The bell had rang 10 minutes ago, and even though baseball practice started 30 minutes after school, J.B. wanted to get to practice early so he could run a few warm-up laps. As he shut his locker and began to walk toward the door, he thought to himself, 'I wonder if mom or dad will come to the game on Saturday, after all, it is my last game.' He was so lost in his thoughts, that he didn't hear the footsteps approaching rapidly from around the upcoming corner.

All of a sudden there was a sharp pain in his right foot, and books were flying everywhere. "Oops, I'm so sorry!!" a tall bare-chested boy said as he was picking up his books, "I was trying to hurry and get to the pool...are you okay?"

"Yeah...I'm fine." J.B. said as he rubbed his now aching foot. 'Oh well...there goes my warm-up laps...' He thought to himself.

"Umm...I really got to get to the pool, sooo... once again I'm sorry okay? Oh and I would get something for that foot if I were you!" the boy said as he grabed the rest of his books and ran off.

"Since I can't run right now, I guess I guess I'll get some batting in." When the boy finally turned the corner, the symbol on J.B.'s arm began to throb. "Ouch, my arm..."

Kin-Ha was sitting near the pool writing in her book. She sighed as she heard the bell ring "Got to git (yes, i spelt it like that) to class...". She got up and made her way toward the door. She took one more sigh and opened the door and walked through. Her small blue skirt, a part of her Korean uniform, fluttered as the air brushed against it. She saw a small child cying "Oma, oma!!!" Kin-Ha quickly turned away and started speed walking down the hall-way

She preety soon saw Cainin the guy she sort of liked. She hadn't really talked to him, but hses seen him around school. She sowly backed away.

(believe me, i got the worst writers block.....in otaku history....!!!)

Cainan walked with his face down, thinking hard about what he should do. His mother was gone until later that night, and he had forgotten his spare key. He didn't have a problem with staying out for a while, but he didn't know what he would do for those long hours. He was heading for the other side of the school when something tall and headed in the opposite direction made him look up just in time to run into it face first.

Both students, caught off-guard remained still and stared for a moment. They had been walking the same speed, so somehow, neither of them had been shoved backwards. Instead, they were pressed nose-to-nose in each other's faces. "Um... sorry." Cainan backed up a step or two slowly, seeing the girl he had run into was faintly familiar. Without anotehr word, he continued on his way, trying to remember her name. Ki... Ki-something... he told himself.

OOC: *sigh* Well, what better way to start the whole RP off than with everyone bumping into each other? -__-;;

Jordan had a headach for some reason and it was really bothering him. He climbed the stairs up to the diving board and sat on the end of it so he could take a break. Their coach had them doing double duty thanks to him. His being late was starting to effect ever member of the swim team. Jordan promised that he wouldn't be late on monday, if he could get through the weekend.

Of coarse Jordan was kidding himself. What could possilby happen over the weekend that could harm him. All he had to do was some homework and show up early monday so he could teach some of the other students how to simplify polynomials.

Some of his fellow swim team mates began yelling at him that the coach said that it was time for them to hit the showers. Jordan nodded to them in a way that let them know that he would be following in a second. He stood on the board and then leapt off doing a flip in the air and diving strait into the water, perfect form. Too bad he wasn't on the diving team.

He got out of the pool and headed strait for the showers. When he was done and dressed he remembered something. That kid that he ran into. he must have stepped on his foot. Jordan felt that he really needed to apologize to him. He was sure he had seen him around before as well, Cario he believed.

Since all after school practices were over he went to the next best place he could think to look for someone after school. The library, though he felt a little uncomfortable every time he was in there, was a very popular spot for people to gather around and have some fun. There was even said to be legends about the place, but most people didn't believe them. For some reason he did, but most didn't.

He arrived, but the other kid wasn't there. He could always look for him on monday anyways if he didn't forget.

Well now that Jordan had a lot of time on his hands he dicided that a nice book would to him some good. He could just sit here and read for an hour, even though he was sure that someone would interupt him. He found a copy of an old ghost story and sat down on a chair between two pillars. He had gotten to a point were some guy in the story had saved some girl from getting hit over the head by a falling globe when the interruption came.

Maya walked down the hall, gym bag slung over her shoulder, toweling her hair off. She had been at swim practice. The fire spirits were always angry when she went swimming. How were they supposed to protect her if they couldn?t get to her. She always laughed and shrugged it off. She had her shorts on over her swim suit, but that was it. The cool air was gradually drying her off, as well as the little spirits floating around her.

She headed for the library, and stopped at the door when she saw she wasn?t the only one who had had that idea. From where she was, she could see the cover. Ghost history, huh? Cool? She walked across the floor, and tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped slightly, and looked up at her.

?Hi! I just saw you were reading about ghost history.?

Her bright smile and happy additude were well know across the school, and apparently he knew who she was. She would introduce herself anyway. ?Oh! Sorry, I?m Maya! Nice to meet you!

OOC: Sorry I didn?t post earlier!

Joei stood Behind the Library and watched the encounter between the two unfold from the safety of behind Glass, He had seen the two around the school a few times but he didn't know their names and this was the first time he saw these two together.

'I don't like the look of those two' Said the Spirit of his Elder brother that died 5 years ago. "Those two have an unsavoury look to them"

"You got to be kidding right" Joei Said, "Do you even know what Unsavoury means?" Judging from the silence of his Brother he assumed that he didn't.

One of the other spirits chose this time to voice its opinion " Their names are Maya & Jordan and they are quite interested in ghosts"

Joei was puzzled at this and questioned him on why he knew, The Spirit awnsered Smugly "I am not bound to you, I am free to leave at will but I cannot leave you for long, I reached in and plucked information"
"Well, Whatever I'm gonna say hi to them" Joei awnsered and thought silently " Don't comment on tits, Don't comment on Tits.
OOC: Sorry for the short post, Don't have long.

This had to be his lucky day. Sure he was interrupted during his reading, but at least it was a by a cute girl. "Hey Maya." He replied trying to sound as nice as he possibly could. "I'm Jordan and it is a pleasure to meet you." A real BIG pleasure. He recognized her from around school and even knew her name, but he wasn't sure if she knew his. She was on the girl's swim team, and from what he could observe a very good swimmer. She had great style and form, of coarse she always seemed a little hesitant at times. He wasn't sure why.

"So what brings you over to my corner of this oversized establishment?" He asked her.

"Well I noticed what you are reading and I'm intersted in the same subject as well." She said giving him a warm smile.

"Well this one is really good. Would you like to read it after I'm finished with it?"

"That would be great." She sounded very pleased. Then Jordan noticed someone else coming their way. Well it wasn't like his luck would last. As soon as he finds a cute girl that came up to him he was bound to have someone else enter the conversation. Oh well, it's no big deal afterall.

"Hello" The boy said as he came up to them. "My name is Joei."

Okay! *smacks fist into palm*
------------------------------------
Nyx tossed the neon ball into the air where it hovered for a brief second before she swung and hit hard. The tennis ball went flying into the opposite court and slammed into the ground before the girl could get it.
"Aaaaannnnnddd...point for me!" Nyx gleemed happily as the tennis ball pinged against the chain link fence. The girl made an aggrivated look.
"Thanks for practicing some rounds with me," the girl replied, re-taunting her ponytail. "See ya on Monday."
"Yeah. See ya." Nyx handed the tennis racket to the girl and walked off the courts. She wasn't on the tennis team - she couldn't, her parents were rather paranoid about a girl in sports, no matter which sport - and didn't have much of a relation with any of the players anyways.
Nyx swung open the door and walked down the hallway, hitching her backpack up higher on its one shoulder support. She stopped suddenly upon hearing voices.
"Hey. My name's Joei."
"Hey," a male voice replied, and Nyx immediately recongnized it as Jordan - a boy two years older than her. He was always giving the freshman girls those flirty glances...
"You interested in this too?" a female voice asked. Nyx couldn't see a thing, obviously, for a wall was obstructing her vision. Obviously.
"Ghosts?" There was a pause. "I guess."
Nyx perked up. "Freaking ghosts! Awesome!"
"...Is there someone in the hallway?" Jordan wondered, and Nyx clasped a hand to her mouth. Ah damn damn damn...
"HELLO!" she bellowed instead, bouncing into view of the library. The girl raised her eyebrows, Joei cocked his, and Jordan was grinning sheepishly.
"Hey, a young girl..." he muttered to himself cheerfully, luckily out of earshot from the rest.
"...Ghosts, eh?" Nyx quickly interjected at the rather chilling silence. "Spirits and little eyes wandering around the place, correct?" She smiled. "Nyx, by the way."

It took a little while for it to sink in just how awkward Cainan's encounter with Kin-ha was. After thinking about it, he sighed and put a hand to his forehead. He really hated those odd moments - the ones where you have no idea what just happened, but are embarassed anyway. Shaking his head, he switched directions to go to the art room. A few Drawing Club students might still be there. He had no interest in drawing, but liked to watch them.

When it came time for him to turn down a hallway, Cainan's feet kept on going. He was confused for a moment but forgot about it instantly. Soon, he was at the Library. He paused at the doorway, yet again confused about what he was doing here. Without having to will himself to do so, Cainan entered and walked among the shelves.

He looked at rows of books, not really interested in any of it. As his mind wandered, he picked up tid-bits of conversation.

"So have you asked anybody...?"
"No, I'm still waiting to hear back fr..."

"Hey, long time no see!"
"Hey, Matt, what-"

"-ing about ghost history." Cainan froze instinctively.
"...I'm intersted in the same subject as well." His put down a book he had started to pull out of the shelf, suddenly feeling like he wanted to get away. Fast.
"Ghosts? I guess." Cainan's hand started shaking and he gripped it in his other. Why was he sweating?
"Spirits and little eyes wandering around the place, correct?" Cainan risked a glance at who was doing the talking and saw a whole group of students chatting around a table. He felt his feet willing him forward without his will again. He walked right by the group and glanced quickly at the book in one of the boys hands. Ghost History...

He quickly started walking in the opposite direction, hoping none of them noticed.

Kin-Ha was reading a comic in Korean. She slightly chuckled to herself. When she looked up she saw Cainan. He looked at her.

"Hi..." he finally said "Sorry about earlier..."

"Its ok..." Kin-Ha said shyly.

"Hey... do...do you speak Japanese? I found this book...abotu myths...but i can't read it."

She took a book out of her book and handed it to him. She looked down shyly waiting for an answer.

"So you like ghosts and spirits as well?" Jordan asked. "I didn't realize that this was such a popular subject. It's almost like we've got our own little club here. Oh and the guy can be in it too." He was joking of coarse and he got a giggle out of the girls, exactly what he was going for. He always tried to be flattering and flirty whenever in the presense of a cute girl. He was doing overtime today because there was two. "But seriously now ghosts are a very intersting subject. I've believed in spirits ever since I was a little kid and I've never let anyone sway my opinion on the subject either. In fact I'm sure that some ghost stories are actually true."

"Really?" Maya asked.

"Of coarse. In face we should get together sometime and tell some stories. We could have a vote over what ones we think are real and what ones we think are fake." He thought for a moment before realizing something. "Hey my parents wouldn't care if I had a few friends over tomarrow. How about you three drop by?" He scribbled his address on three peices of paper and handed it to them. "And as for this book it is really good. You should all read it." He got up and waved to them as he passed, going home was what he needed to do otherwise his parents may begin to wonder a little about his wearabouts.

Joei stood in the corner thinking about the Ghosts that were hosted within his body throughout the years, For Gods sake he even hosted his dead brothers soul although he disliked thinking about it. He then smiled about what the others probrably thought Ghosts were because, Well They didn't look like they had seen a ghost before. Then all of a sudden Joei felt a force tugging at his mind, At first he took it to be one of the spirits and sent a mental message to them to stop.

His Brother grumpily awnsered " But we didn't do anything" This was then followed up by another Brutal strike to his mind whcih sent him falling to his knees. The other two rushed other to his side then pulled back when they saw Blood dripping from his mouth. Joei waved them away like it happened all the time, Then stood up, A little Shakily at first and left. When he was a good distance he collapsed on a bench and began to think about why this could keep on happening.

OOC: Joei is being attacked by Rogue Spirits that are angry that he is hosting spirits. None of the others know this though.

"I better get going..." Kin-Ha said quietly. She left the book in Cainans hands and started toward the door. She opened the door and the sunlight hit her beautiful face. She headed down a hilll into a little Korean neighborhood.

"Ahnyong, oma"
(Hello mom)

"School was good i geuss, i met someone cool...i geuss" Kin-Ha said.

"Nugoo?"
(Who?)

"No one, never mind". She walked up the stairs into her room. It was painted pink with Hello Kitty stickers everywhere. She sat on her bed reading with the T.V on. Maybe Cainan would call her, she left her number on the front cover. She luaghed to herself. She lauaghed, and luaghed.

Cainan stood staring after the girl a moment. Somehow he still hadn't gotten her name. He shrugged it off and the nrealized he still had her book in his hands. He looked down at it and had no luck trying to translate the title. Then something caught his eye on the cover. It was... a phone number?

Cainan stared at it a moment, pondering the possibilities of a girl's phone number writtin on the front of a book she had given him. Without warning, he flushed and proceeded out of the library. Had she really intentionally left him her number? Cainan wondered this as he walked down the halls aimlessly. Suddenly, he was very excited and felt his heart beating in his chest. Did this mean that... she liked him?

With enough motivation to let him forget about ghosts and spirits, Cainan flew happily out the front door of the school. Then it hit him - he was locked out of the house. He slapped his forhead, not able to believe he had forgotten. He slumped into a wall and groaned. The school wouldn't let him make a social call like that, and there was no way he couldget into his house with his mom gone and no key. Damn...

Kin-Ha realized it was time for her daily walk. She set her book down and told her mother she'll be back in an hour. She opened the door and walked out into the setting sun. She took a deep breath, and then let it out happily. She loved the air, she loved nature overall. She started out of the neighborhood and entered another. She could see a weird figure in the distance. It was a small girl who looked at Kin-Ha with small round eyes.

"Oma"
(mom)

"Ani, im not your mom! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" The little girl started to cry, then she vanished in the blink of an eye. Kin-Ha shook her head and kep on walking. She saw they boy who she recalled name was Cainan sitting on the stoop of his house. She walked up to him. "Um...why are you sitting out here. He looked up at her "Im locked out of my house, and im starving...are you..Ki....Ki...um.."

"My names Kin-Ha, nice to meet you... um whats your name?' She kind of chuckled out of embarresement. 'We could go to Micdonos?"

Cainan kind of luaghed "Yes, we can go to Mcdonald." He got up and they made thier way toward the mall.

OOC: YAY! well its kinda too short but...its ok i geuss

The Korean girl had left. Cainan had left. Maya, Jordan, and Joei were silent. Nyx was as well, until she walked over to a group of study tables and fwamped onto the top of one of them.
"...Ow."
"That's what ya get, genius," Joei said, shifting his eyes to look at Nyx. In return, she stared back.
"The wood spirit wanted me to do it," she retorted quickly, trying to think of something that might freak Joei out. ((OOC: Wagh, can't type...)) "He was haunnnnting meeeee..."
"Lay off," Joei snapped in reply. "There's nothing there; cut it out."
"Hmmph. Fun-stealer."
"Brat."
"Mewh!!!" Nyx stuck her tongue out at Joei's turned back. Hmph. Fun-stealer. Suddenly forgetting the entire incident, she closed her eyes and was about ready to fall asleep.
The blackness of her covered eyes was immense. Nothing but black wherever you looked. There was no escape from it, and yet, no need to run from it. The wisdom of video games had taught her that the closer one gets to light, the greater the dark becomes.
A pair of diamond-shaped, turquoise eyes fizzled onto the scene, and moved with the movements of Nyx's pupils. Even in the darkness....
Suddenly, the eyes plunged forward, slamming into the freshman and sending her flying off the table, slamming into a bookcase. Luckily, it didn't tip over.
"...Ow," she mumbled, opening her eyes and rubbing her head. Upon seeing the bug-eyed looks from Jordan and Joei, she grinned sheepishly. "Hurts a lot."
Maya shook her head, smiling slightly. Could've been killed...and yet, went down with a grin.

Nope, I don't mean for Joei to be the sworn-enemy-of-DOOM! of Nyx. Nope. Uh-uh. No way. Nein.

"You going to be alright?" Jordan asked the younger girl called Nyx.

"Of coarse." She replied and brushed herself off.

Jordan continued on his way out. He just wanted to make sure that everything was fine, but for some reason that seemed odd and it never sunk in. Was he that careless or was he just not shocked? He should be. He didn't think about it the whole way home.

Jordan got home and as soon as he stepped into the house he met the smell of his mother's cooking. A smell that would have been hard to handle if he wasn't used to it. Whenever his mother cooked it always smelt rotten or spoiled, but it wasn't bad. For some odd reason dispite the odor it had a wonderful taste to it. He came into the kitchen and dropped his bag next to the table before he went to his room. His mother turned from the stove and gave him a more than welcoming smile.

"Hello son." She said with much glee as the rotten smelling soup simmered on the stove in front of her. "How was your day at school?"

"It was alright I suppose." He replied trying not to concentrate on the smell.

"Did you meet any cute girls at school today that you are going to be bringing home soon?" She asked.

That was one of the few things about his mother that he didn't like. The fact that she always asked such strait forward questions like that. And she had been pushing for him to get a girlfriend for a year now. He even wanted to say, yes he met two cute girls today, but he didn't. Instead he replied a little more like this. "Mother if you keep pushing me like this I'm going to be thirty and still single."

"You can't blame a mother for trying."

"I can, but I won't." That remark got a small laugh from her. A laugh that she let out way too often in his opinion. "Well I'm going to my room. I may have a few friends over tomarrow if that is alright."

"No problem dear. Just as long as at least one of them is a girl."

"You really need to let up off that you know."

"I know, but I won't."

Jordan rolled his eyes and sighed. There was just no changing his mother. She would still be the same hound dog she is today that she will be when she is 76 and shrivled like a prun. Not that he wishes that on his mother, it's just a part of life that everyone will have to live with.

So Jordan ended up in his room. He took out the book from his library and popped in some Alice Cooper, one of his favorite artists in the music buisness, and began to read. When he got to "This House Is Haunted" he began to feel kind of strange. The sad tones of Alice wasn't the problem, it was something else. In the book there was something about a summoning ritual that he was reading, but for some reason it wasn't soaking.

Oh, this house is haunted. Alice kept droning on as this wave of dizzyness swept over him. He felt like he was sick. The room was spinning on it's own and his stomach was backtracking his last meal. Then something rung in his ears. The the room came back into focus. And a vibration was coming from his side. He lifted his cell phone. Who could be calling right now?

OOC: Gaaa! I'm back, and my writer's block is gone!! BTW, sorry for the mix-up, but my character's name is J.B. not Cairo... ^-^;;
==================================================
IC: Baseball practice went great for J.B.. Every ball that came at him, he hit it out of the field each time. Curious as to why this stange phenomenon was happening, he thought to himself, "Ever since my arm started hurting from this damn symbol, I've been playing better than I've ever played before...", suddenly his thoughts were interupted.

"Billings!!! Get over here!" The coach bellowed from across the field.

"Yes sir?"

"Great job today, you must be pretty hype about tommorow's game."

"Yeah...something like that."

"Well don't get too hype. We'll need some of that energy for tommorrow's game, now hit the showers."

As J.B. stood in the showers, he let the water wash away all his worries, "Ahh...it's been a while since I indulged in the water like this..." Ever since his incident in the ocean a few years ago, J.B. hasn't surfed, swimmed, or done any water activites. "Just a bit warmer...ahh, that's it." The showers suddenly got very foggy, and J.B. open his eyes, only to see a pair staring back at him, "WHA?!" he said as he rubbed his eyes and looked again, "Must be this steam playing tricks on me. It's time for me to get out anyway, gotta meet Maya in the library."

When he was dressed, he headed for the library, expecting to meet Maya, so they could joke around for a while before going home. Even though J.B. and Maya were the best of friends, some people made it to be more than that, J.B. didn't care because him and Maya both knew the truth.

When J.B. turned the corner to get to the library, he saw the guy that bumped into him earlier, he was heading out the door with a look of concentration on his face. J.B. really wanted to see if he was okay, so he ran down the hall to the door to stop him, but when he got there, it was too late, the guy was getting on the bus. "Oh well, guess I'll see him on Monday then...", and with that, J.B. headed toward the library once again.

When he arrived, he saw Maya along with another girl and a guy. "J.B.! It's about fucking time!! What took you so long?"

"Had to shower up you know. You don't want to smell my funkyness do ya?"'

"Eh...I'd rather not! By the way, these are two new friends of mine, Joei and Nyx. Joei and Nyx, this is Joshua Billings--"

"--But you can call me J.B." J.B. interupted as he shook his fist at Maya.

"Hi!" Nyx replied first, "it's great to meetcha!"

"Wassup" Joei replied, "hey, I know you. You play baseball right?"

"Yes, I do. And our last game of the season is tommorrow, it'd be great if you guys could come."

"I'll be there" Nyx replied.

"I dunno, I gotta check with my parents first" Joei said.

"So what were you guys talking about?"

"This" Maya said as she held up the book "Ghost History, pretty cool huh?"

"I guess...if you believe in that sort of thing."

All of a sudden, Joei collapsed to his knees on the ground. When everyone came running to see what was wrong with him, they looked at him then drew back when they saw the blood across his bottom lip. Joei then waved his hand casually as if this was normal, then he stood up, a little shakey at first, then he left.

"Umm....did that just happen?" Maya said with a puzzled look on her face.

"........" Nyx just stood there with a look of pure disgust on her face.

"Well, we gotta see if he's okay." J.B. said as he grabed his gym bag and headed out the library doors.

Joei thought about what had happened in the Library and how he started to bleed. He immediatly let his soul leave his body to a Paraplane where unbound souls roam. The five souls that usually inhabited his body immediatly appeared before him and so the interogation started.

Spirit 3 AKA Hei Taramanya- What the Fuck happened before? You were nearly killed somehow.
Joei- I have no idea. Some bloody Bastard snuck into my head.
Spirit 5 AKA Dylan Williams- You piss off a Broad Lately? A Broad that knows Voodoo?

Joei- Nice attempt at a Joke man. But I nearly Died out there and something trying to get into my mind. It ain't a laughing matter.

Spirit 6 AKA Mark James II- It was a cowards attempt at your life. They will not dare to try and attack like that again now that you know what they can do.

Spirit 4 AKA James Cini- But we don't know who is behind this assault on Joei.(Then turns to face Joei) Joei, You are going to have to go back to our original plane and try and scrape up some details. We await your return.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Joei's soul returned to himself he found himself lying on the ground in front of the bench with a few people looking at him. He had no idea about how he fell off andjust sat there resting.

I really need to post some more. And stop being overlly hyper. :animestun

"A baseball game, eh?" Nyx said to herself as she walked along the mis-made sidewalk. Slabs of concrete stuck up here and there, caring not at who wad doomed to trip and crack their skulls open on them. "My parents'll flip when they find out what I'm doing." She smiled. "But it would be nice to see them flip-out again and point out just how ridiculous they are."
J.B. That was his name. Sort of like P.B. that way (You know, peanut butter? ...) Nyx was about to lapse into one of her rather-frequent "deep thought" modes where she tuned out the world, but a chilled tapping on her shoulder stopped her.
With a sigh, Nyx turned around and was met, face-to-face, with what appeared to be a black shape of gas. Violet-colored eyes stared back at her. "Yeah? What?"
"Hey, Nyx..." the Spirit said in a watery voice, "I need yer help."
"What for?" she asked as she began to walk towards her house again.
"Well," the Spirit replied, drifting along side her, "There's been these weird disturbances on the Mortal Plane recently. And some strange rumors in the Underworld."
"'bout what?" Nyx wondered lazily. Talking to this Spirit - even if it was the one that had saved her life - was extremely boring at times.
"Something about ghosts inhabiting a body...like, a lot of them...in one body."
"Yeah? And? So?"
"Yer...yer not alarmed?"
"Pfft, naaah. Probaly some shaman in Indonesia or sommin'."
"But they say he's young -"
"A young shaman in training," Nyx quickly fired back. She pivited on her foot to face the Spirit. "Ya mind not bugging me about these stupid things? I've got more to think about-"
"Like the three boys you've met today?" The Spirit hissed in laughter.
"...If you were solid, you'd dead," Nyx replied, her tone shaking from anger slightly. "No, it's not about those boys at all, but I will admit, none of them were half-bad."
"So you do like them."
"Naaah. But this group of kids and me - there were two girls there too - went into this whole monologue about ghosts 'n stuff. I was hurled into a bookcase, too." She paused. "One girl left, and so did another guy. Then I left to get home. Now if you don't MIND, I need to GET there!"
"A'right, a'right...so much for gratitude..."
With her back still turned on the Spirit, Nyx replied, "That happened four years ago, okay?" She stormed to her house and entered via the garage, dumping her backpack right next to the door and thumping up a flight of stairs to her room.
"Nyx," her mother said before she reached the stairs, "How'd school go?"
"Aye, fine," Nyx said monotonously, heaving a fake yawn.
"You missed the bus. Even then, you're late if you were walking. What happened?"
Standing right in the passage to the hallway made a great escape if things went wrong. "I helped one of the tennis girls practice, then I went to the library to -" she had to think quickly "- meet some friends."
"New friends, dear?"
"Yeah, we met during...lunch." She was now lieing through her teeth. But she really didn't care. "And then we agreed to meet in the library after school. One of the guys -"
"There were boys?"
"Yes mom, there were boys. I go to a segregated school the last time I checked. But anyways, one of 'em invited us to his baseball game tomorrow." At her mother's rather horrified look, she added, "I told him I'd go."
Now was time for Nyx's great escape. She slipped through the passage and romped up the stairs as yells soon followed.

Jordan lifted the phone to his ear. There was a humming coming from the other side before he said, "Hello".

A pleasant voice came from the other side of the line. "Oh I didn't realize someone picked up. This is Jordan right?"

"Yeah."

"Well how about instead of your house tomarrow, you come to a baseball game?"

"That sounds nice. Baseball is a good sport."

"Okay, great. We'll see you there then." Then the phone clicked off.

Jordan wasn't sure who called him from the other. All he could really tell was that it was a girl that had called him. It sounded as like one of the girls that he met today, but he wasn't sure what one. Well he was going to a baseball game tomarrow. That will be nice.

Maya smiled warmly at Kin-ha, who was sitting across the table from her. The two had been working on homework together, and eating snack. ?So, we go to the baseball game tomorrow, instead of to Jordan?s house.? She had just gotten off the phone with Nyx, who had just called Jordan.

Kin-ha smiled slightly, still shy, but nodded.

?Hey, Kin-ha, do you watch anime??

The girl nodded, and Maya jumped up. ?I?ve got the new ?Ghost in The Shell? movie! You want to go watch?? Kin-ha brightened.

?Yes, I would love to.?

The two girls departed from the kitchen, and went up the carpeted stairs to Maya?s room.

Kin-Ha sat on the bed next to Maya, who would've though? An american girl who likes anime, she watched ontently almost smileing the whole time. When the dredits came on Maya looked toward Kin-Ha. Kin-Ha pulled out 5 d.v.ds. "Chobits!" she closed her eyes and smiled all cute like.

" Hey Kin-Ha, would your parents let you stay over?"

Kin-Ha nodded, "They encourage me too friends!"

Mya smiled and asked her mother. She happily said yes to teh sleep over and both girls cheered.

The girls eyes teared up every time Chii said something sad. They soon went to bed and a new sun arose.

OOC: Yeah welcome back to school. I hope you have fun.

IC: Jordan had been thinking about it even through his sleep. Who had called him. For some reason he was letting it bother him. It sounded younger, he could tell because he was always around younger girls. It was a voice of a freshmen. The only freshman that he knew about was Nyx. Wow he had great deducting skills. Enough to choke a donkey.

He ate his lunch quickly and rushed out of the door grabbing the car keys. He will admit that he wasn't supposed to have his licence yet, but the state screwed up and he got it early so it all worked out well enough. He drove off towards the baseball feilds not sure what time that they were going to show up, but was positive about when he was going to get there.

When Jordon arrived he saw that the unpires and coaches were just setting up the feild for play. None of the players where even here yet. That ment that none of his new friends where either. Well then he would just have to wait for them. He found the bleachers and began to climb them until he sat at the top. One of the umpires looked up at him kind of confused.

"You a little early son?" The umpire asked. "The game doesn't start for another 45 minutes."

"I'm a die-hard fan." Jordan replied getting a shrug from the ump who just went back to doing what he was doing. Jordan had expected it to be around a half hour before the game and he was sure that everyone would show up before it started. To pass the time he pulled the book out of his bag as well as an I-pod that he got last christmas. The tunes were good, but that odd feeling that he was getting before was starting to return as he continued reading. At one point he looked up at the feild and swore to God that some kid with no legs was following the umpire as he went around and put down the white powder on top of the dirt. He kept hoping that they would get there soon.
