[color=Navy]Kai walked along beside Jinn happily, she was glad that there was someone else here that [i]wasn't [/i]famous like herself. She looked at her map in her mini computer and turned left at a fork in the path.

[b]"To tell you the truth, they didn't give this map to me, I kinda hacked it from them, but don't tell anyone, 'kay?" [/b]Kai confessed, winking and putting a finger to her lips.

Jinn smiled and nodded.

Kai and Jinn talked as they made their way back to the stadium, when they arrived, they saw their mechanimas next to each other. They both looked at each other's mechanimas in awe.

[b]"Leon looks in good shape, strong leg joints, nice sharp claws and teeth for scratching..." [/b]Kai commented as she reached up and touched one of the bolts that held one of Leon's legs together, he lifted his head and let out a roar.

She looked over at Jinn who was studying Stella.

[b]"Her wings look powerful, and she's got a sharp beak and talons which must come in handy." [/b]Jinn said, Stella let out a proud screech.

[b]"Don't know much about mechanimas?" [/b]Kai guessed.

[b]"How...?" [/b]

[b]"Don't want to sound mean or anything but you don't seem to know much about the parts that compose a mechanima. Like Stella, she has hidden boosters that help her fly at speeds almost as fast as the hawk, she's got hidden weapons over her body, and power generators. But it's alright, I've been obsessed with these things since the war started." [/b]Kai smiled slightly.

[b]"If I didn't know better, I'd swear that you could read minds." [/b]Jinn sighed, shaking his head.

She laughed and they continued to talk, Kai was happy that there was someone normal like her around that she could talk to. Not that she couldn't talk to the other pilots, just that a lot of them were on edge from the war, and they were famous, so it made it hard not to be too in awe of them that she couldn't speak. But they were fairly normal together, and could get along.

Lyu had Desh in a corner of the stadium hanger and hopped out to see Kai nad Jinn inspecting each others Mechs.
"Pretty amazing aren't they?"
Both looked at her, Kai seemed to look at her aew that made her feel out of place.
"It's amazing to me that your mechs let one another touch them, normally only the piolets can touch them, or that's how it is with ours."
She walked over between them and smiled at Stella and Leon.
"They are amazing machines though. Onr thing, they aren't just machines they have feelings so always treat them with the upmost respect."
Kai looked at her and frowned.
"Where the other one?"
"Huh- other, what?"
"The other piolet that you always talk to."
"You mean Ajack?"
"Yeah, I geuss, he's the guy with the blonde hair, he's kinda a jerk. What do you see in him."
Lyu sighed.
"I see who he used to be."
She gasped and shook her head blushing.
"Look let's go, we need to meet up with the others at the stadium."
Both nodded and looked at al the other mechs.
"So, Sora and Sayne are already here?"
KAi nodded, jinn looked up.
"Yep."
Lyu smiled and shook her head.
"Man I'd hate to see what they're doin' right now, all alone and probably off in a corner."
"Actually I'm right behind you ."
Lyu made a face that made Jinn and Kai smirk and turned around.
"Hey, Sora. How are you?"
"Fine."
"Your curt."
"I'm pissed."
"Your not being clear."
"I don't want to be."
"This could effect your pioliting."
"I know what I'm doing."
"Is it Sayne?"
"Mind your own business."
"Is he being cold again."
"I don't want to talk about it."
"It needs to be, this could effect your pioliting, it did once remember?"
"That was a long time ago."
"And you didn't even feel as strongly as you do now for him. You have to think Sora.Talk to him."
"Your one to give advice, you can't get Ajack to say two words to you."
Sora clapped a hand over her mouth and looked at Lyu apologizing with her eyes.
"It's fine...I understand, you and I are in the same boat now huh?"
Lyu walked towards the door.
"I'll be in the caf. if you need me. When Ajack gets here tell him I need to talk to him."
she walked away holding back the tears.

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]Ajack finally made his way back to Apollo...preparing himself for the grand opening for the tournament.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]Everything is cleared Ajack...and the special weaponary is on hold as you asked. [/COLOR]

[I]Good...lets get going then. [/I] Apollo opened up the cockpit, and Ajack jumped inside...following his usual procedures...Ajack took a look at an old picture of Lyu, clamped on the far side of the cockpit...

[I]....Lyu........[/I] he didn't know what to feel. With everything that was going on...how was he supposed to act. Pressing two fingers to his lips, he placed them upon the picture. [I]I still love you Lyu...I just need something from you right now. I feel like I have nothing else to give. [/I]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]Why can't you just admit the fact that you miss her Ajack...[/COLOR]

[I]Why can't you listen to what I've told you about reading my thoughts without permission...[/I]

[I]*sigh*...that we will. [/I] and with that, Ajack pressed down on the controls and shot out of the hanger into the open. At first he headed towards the Stadium, but suddenly shot upwards...higher and higher into the beating heat of the sun. With Apollo's golden exterior...it seemed to be steaming as they ascended towards the sky.

Soon...Ajack evened out their ascent and flew upon the clouds of the sky. He may have turned a little cold...but his soul was still free...the child still within him. It was beautiful; the white and puffy clouds streaming up against the hull.

[I]....Lyu.......I wish I could share this............Apollo...cut it![/I]

Immidiately, Apollo's four boasters shut down, as well as for his wings as the two of them slowly drifted in the air; using no power what soever. Then evidently began to free fall from the sky...just like it had happened that fateful day against the Cylargian.

[I]Remember this feeling Apollo....[/I]

About a mile away from the surface of the stadium, Apollo flapped its four great wings with such incredible force that it caused a typhoon underneathe them...causing them to come to a complete stop in the air. Stopping its wings movement again, the mech. landed on the ground with on all fours...causing the earth to shake from underneathe everyone on the stadium. The crowd roared when over the loudspeaker...Ajack heard his and Apollo's name being introduced.

Jumping out of the cockpit...Ajack looked across the playing field; feeling a sense of peace in the vastness of it all. Sora came running to him, followed by two unknown pilots...as well as Dale and Keiji.

''I'm sorry I haven't been very friendly guys........how've ya been.'' as Ajack embraced his long lost friends...

''I've been looking all over for ya man.'' said Dale...''where have you been?''

''It doesn't matter now...all is well....who are these two pilots.''

''Well....'' as Sora began to introduce...''this is Jinn and Kai...''

''Hello...''
''Hey...'' they both answered as they both shook Ajack's hand.

''I'm Ajack...pleasure to meet you.''

''Oh Ajack...'' as Sora got within a whispering distance to Ajack...''Lyu is waiting for you in the cafe...she really wants to talk too you.'' as Sora pulled away, Ajack looked deep into her eyes...and saw that she was sincere, as well as serious.

''Thank you...'' Ajack took a glance at Apollo who did a simple nod. He said his goodbyes...and ran towards the cafe. [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

[Akieen Cloud]

Lyu looked up from her palte as she heard the footsteps stop in the door to the Cafiteria. She looked around and spotted Ajack.
"Ajack! Over here!"
He walked over, his eyes shining brightly but his walk showed that he was still angered at her.
"What do you want lyu?"
"I want to talk."
"About what?"
"About us..."
"What's there to talk about?"
She sat down watching as he sat down across from her.
"Ajack, I've changed, just like you, but I'm no diffrent than when I left. I still love you."
"Why did you leave without saying goodbye?"
"I couldn't think of hurting you again Ajack, if I had stayed whose to say that that wouldn't have happened?"
"Whose to say it would've?"
"Look I just want you to know I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you like that...please forgive me... I couldn't stay here knowing that I couldn't fight for you like you fought for me. But thays diffrent now, I'm not as weak as I was five years ago."
"Okay, so what do you want me to do?"
"Give me another chance? Please...gimme the chance to show you i never staoped careing...please..."
".....Lyu...I dunno."
She put her hand over his and bent down kissing his hand.
"Please think about it.I don't want to think of my life without you anymore...so plaese."
She stood and begane to walk out the door of the Caf but turned around and walked back, she placed her hand on his cheek and smiled, she caught him off gaurd and bent down covering his ;ips with hers in an unmistakeable kiss, quick but there. She stood and whispered.
"I love you Ajack Masters...Know that."
She walked away towards the hanger but took a detour to the stadium seating, it was empty and let her think.
"Desh, did I do the right thing just now?"
[I]You told him how you feel, it was worth soemthing...[/I]
"If you sat so...I hope he knows that I'm sincere with this....I want a second chance...I messed up five years ago but i won't this time...I promise..."
[I]I kow Lyu....I believe you.[/I]
"Oh, Desh...I'm a mess without him beside me...I just don't know what to do anymore...I miss him so much...I miss being in his arms....feeling his lips on mine...I just miss him..."
She pulled out the folded picture oif the gang and smiled looking at her self and Ajack, they were smileing and had heir arms around each other, he was kissing the top of her head. She felt the tears well up in her eyes and he vision get blurry.
"Oh Ajack..."
She looked out into the stadium and wiped her eyes., She wondered wht Ajack was doing right now.

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS][b]OOC: Sorry about the absence. Since Heero hasn't been on for a while, I'm going to be taking over Sayne. And beginning the Opening of the Tournament.[/b]

Sora felt like a class idiot when she snapped at Lyu. Sayne had just infuriated her so much, it wasn't fair for her to snap at her. Noticing that Jinn and Kai were still standing near her, Sora sighed, letting her frustration go with the sigh.

" Is....is something wrong Sora?" Kai asked very timidly, finally gathering the courage to say one sentence.
" Just Sayne is being his normal pain in the ass," Sora replied.
" Sayne, a pain in the ass?" Jinn asked.
" When Sayne is hiding something important from me, he doesn't tell me. He just avoids the subject. That plus with today's ...... emotions....just made me go a little overboard. Poor Lyu. I shouldn't have snapped at her."

Dale and Keiji joined them. Jinn looked at the older pilots in awe.
" There's been an announcement in the base. The V.M.Tournament is starting in two hours. All pilots be ready in an hour, ready for briefing for the first match of the Tournament," Dale said.
" Which ones?" Sora asked.
" You, Sayne, Kai and Jinn. It will be a four-on-four," Keiji said. Sora growled. Dale and Keiji looked surprised.
" What's the matter Sora?" Keiji asked.
" Her and Sayne are having a lover's tiff," Jinn came out with boldly. Dale and Keiji looked at one another and then burst out laughing. Even Jinn and Kai had a chuckle.
" It's not funny guys," Sora said seriously. " Something is on his mind. Whatever it is, it's important."

[b]MC: Welcome to the Grand Opening of the Valentine Memorial Tournament...[/b]

The stadium was jam packed full of spectators. It was like a grand final of football, without the players and ball. Instead every team's MechAnimas stood in the stadium, all had a banner under each member fought. The team's banner was black-backgrounded with a single red rose on it with the words 'Lest we forget' printed in white letters. Every pilot stood beside their respective MechAnima.

[b]MC: Please, everyone take their seats as the opening ceremony is about to begin.[/b]

The crowd's noise started to dull. Soon it was deadly silent. On the dignitaries' stage, Commander De'Larne stood and walked over to the microphone.

" Welcome all, pilot or spectator. This tournament was organised with the idea that the sacrifice people made five years ago would not be forgotten years later. Many have made a painful journey back to Earth to support this rememberance, and for that I thank you. Most of us were hit in one way or another by the attack on our people. We all share the pain."

" But five years later, we have grown stronger and now we celebrate our strength with this tournament. So sit back and enjoy this display of strength and skill!"

A huge uproar of appluase followed Commander De'Larne back to his seat. Dr Kane and Professor Saith sat in the seats next to him, all looking as proud as punch. The former President of Earth, Mr William Hyther, sat on the other side of Commander De'Larne. He was the President of Earth five years ago. The current President of Earth, Mr Steven Reins, sat next to the former President. All had supported this event.

[b]MC: And there you have it folks. The Valentine Memorial Tournament has now been officially opened. Coming up is the first battle: The famous MechAnima pilots themselves, Sayne De'Larne and Sora Avian, joining forces with new recruits Kai Elric and Jinn Mitsuba to form the chosen four of Team Valentine.

They are matched up against Team Fang. Billy Shult, Justin Trembic, Selina Black and Joseph Utei are the chosen four to go up against Team Valentine. This should be one heck of a good fight![/b]

All of the MechAnimas and their pilots moved out of the arena. Sora, Sayne, Kai and Jinn walked to the east end as their MechAnimas were transported there by some sort of mechanics. There was a room specifically for the pilots to wait and to discuss their battle tactics. But the pilots didn't say one word to each other. All had been briefed of the rules before the opening ceremony.

A loud horn echoed through the stadium. The signal of the emergence of the teams. Each pilot climbed into their respective cockpits and moved out of the huge hanger into the arena. On the opposite side of the stadium, Team Fan stood there with models of the Cylargrian Sabertooths, but these looked far weaker than the Cylargrian. Sora growled.

Another horn echoed through the stadium. The signal for the commencement of the battle. Blaze outstretched his wings and took off into the sky. This would be an interesting battle. Four land-based MechAnimas against three air-based MechAnimas and one land based MechAnima.

[b]OOC: Ok, Ohkami and Idiot2.0, pick an opponent, make up their characteristics and fight against them. It can be one-on-one, or you can choose for someone to help you. That would be a good option because Jinn is the only land-based MechAnima, and he needs protecting. Make sure you are up-to-date with the rules. Happy battling.

Lyuann, kairiKIce2, Rei_Man and Altron, you may watch. Lyuann and kairiKIce2, I especially left you two out because of your little 'tiff' between your characters. Rei_man and Altron, you may be with kairiKIce2 and Lyuann if you wish.[/b][/FONT][/COLOR]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=navy]Kai was worried for Sora but brushed it off as it was announced that she and Jinn would be battling alongside with Sora and Sayne. She was a little nervous because they were so famous. But she steeled herself, knowing that they'd all be upset if they lost.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=#000080]Kai smiled at Jinn, they would stick together as friends, seeing as they were both in the same boat of being new. Kai took a look at their banner and smiled softly, closing her eyes as she thought of the deaths and of her parents who had also died. Kai became concentrated from then on, feeling her connection with Stella, they kept each other confident because this would be the first fight for both of them.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=#000080]When they were walking, she spotted the other team and focussed on one of the guys that had jet black hair, and when he turned his head to look at her, she saw burning crimson eyes, he was the one named Justin Trembic.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=#000080]They walked into the discussion area and stayed silent. When it was time, they got into their cockpits, Kai climbed into Stella and got comfortable in the seat. The two of them connected mentally, focussing their mind on winning. Kai eyed the Sabertooth mechanimas warily, putting her hand in her pocket she pulled out a photo and stuck it in the top left corner of her cockpit, looking at it. The photo was of her with her parents, it had been taken days before the incident. They all looked so happy.[/color][/size][/font]

Kai flicked some switches which opened her communication links and checked with Jinn to see how he was going, he seemed nervous but she believed in him, he'd pull through.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=#000080]When the second horn sounded, Stella spread her wings wide and set off from the ground, flapping her wings strongly to grab air, barrel rolling higher into the sky. She looked around and saw Blayze and Deviryn below her, with Leon on the ground. The Fangs had jumped forward and were headed for a collision with Leon. Stella did a vertical spin which then sent her pointing downward in a descending spiral, wrapping her wings up so she'd fall at a faster speed. Stella rammed Spike, who was closing in on Leon before flapping up again.[/color][/size][/font]

[FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=2][COLOR=Navy]"Thanks for the save Kai", Jinn said over the intercom

"No problem, but you should look out."

"I will be from now on, but for now I think Billy over here wants a fight, well I guess

he wants to take me down don't know why though", Jinn let out, but Jinn was scared because of the fact his was the only land MechAnima, he did know that his teammates would help if he got in a bind.

[B][Jinn shouldn't we protect the women], Leon asked

[Leon there are two things you should know. First, a woman is stronger than a man, and can beat a guy any day, never forget that, and second we'll probably need the most help]

[If you say so, which one should we focus on]

[Well, Billy looks ready for a fight I suggest we give him one. Oh, and which button drops the blades and fires the booster pack.]

"You see I realize that there's no way for me to beat you, so I bow."

"Heh, well at least one of you idiots understands the power we have."

Jinn made Leon bow to Billy

Billy had just brought the sabertooth right above Leon. Billy raised his claw ready to finish Leon. As he brought the claw down, Jinn fired the booster Headbutting Billy's sabertooth.

"Billy if you think that I'm just going to kneel over and let you win than you're an moron", Jinn said to Billy. But what he thought was 'Man, if I lose, I'll look so stupid after saying that' [/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Blaze and Deviryn took off into the sky, both outstretching their wings to their full extent. Sayne looked over to Sora. He could tell she was pissed off with him. He swore he could have seen some flames flickering on Blaze's wings.

Meanwhile Sora concentrated on the battle. Mentally she looked over to Sayne to see if he was by her side.

[ESTABLISHED COM LINK: Kai, Jinn, Sayne]

Sora: This is a team battle. The other team will be using combination attacks against us. We should do the same.
Sayne: Hn...
Jinn: I agree. But you are aerial, and I'm ground. There's a problem there.
Sora: With every problem, comes a solution.

[CONNECTION DISABLED]

Sora looked over to Sayne. Deviryn seemed to be flying in synch with Blaze.
" Ok Blaze. Time to show these new guys what we're about."
[COLOR=DarkRed]I'm right with you Sora.[/COLOR]
[i]Deviryn, I know you can hear me. I'm not talking to Sayne for the moment, but follow our lead.[/i]
[COLOR=DarkGreen]All right Sora.[/COLOR]

Locking onto the Sabertooths, Blaze and Deviryn dived in unison to become ground level and scooted along the earth, kicking up dust in their wake. The dust provided a cover for Stella and Leon. Two Sabertooths stood in their path. They tried desperately to get out of the road but it was too late. Both Blaze's and Deviryn's retractable blades lengthened from their wings and sliced off the massive guns upon the two Sabertooths' backs.

Suddenly two massive explosions rocked the stadium, one on the east end, one on the west. Blaze and Deviryn wheeled around. Two gigantic T-Rexs entered the stadium with all guns outstretched, ready to fire any second.

[b]Everyone, don't move.[/b]

The crowd started to rustle. Some people started to panic and run to the exits. Commander De'Larne and Dr Kane jumped up. The two presidents sat there, a little bewildered.

" What do you want?" Commander De'Larne demanded over the microphone. Everyone in the stadium and its surroundings heard his demand. The crowd fell deadly silent. Sora and Sayne lowered their MechAnimas. The dust cloud hovered over the desert stadium.

[b]What we want, we won't say. But instead, we'll take your pretty little MechAnimas.[/b]

A lion's roar and an eagle's screech echoed through the stadium.
" KAI! JINN!" Sora yelled in cockpit. In a blink of an eye, the T-Rexs vanished into thin air. Sora looked around bewildered.

[b]At the base, in the main meeting room...[/b]

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY VANISHED!!" Sora yelled, slamming her fist on the table.
Dr Kane quaverred under Sora's anger. " Like I said, they vanished. With Jinn and Kai too. Just like that. Poof!"
" Sora...settle down..." Sayne said calmly. Sora stared at him coldly. Keiji, Lyu, Ajack and Dale sat around the table.
" It seems these new MechAnimas haven't been engineered here. Because no other MechAnima here has cloaking teachnology," Dale said observantly.
" Yes. I did that on purpose. But I know how to make the cloaking technology. So does Professor Saith," Dr Kane replied absent-mindedly.
" Whatever these new MechAnimas are, we can defeat them. Just like five years ago," Keiji said, with his arms folded against his chest. Ajack, Sayne and Lyu were silent.

Commander De'Larne was practically shaking with anger.
" Have you told them about the Legendarys, Dr Kane?" he asked with controlled rage.
" Legendarys?" Lyu piped up.
Dr Kane nodded his head vigrourlessly. " The Legendarys is another stage of MechAnima evolution. All MechAnima created here have been fitted with the Legendary system since the beginning. Even all of the originals."
" What exactly is the Legendary system?" Sora asked. She wondered why Blaze felt a little strange lately.
" The Legendary system is an evolution of the MechAnimas. It is used in high-emotional periods of battle. It's like an emotion sensor. Your MechAnima becomes empowered far beyond normality, and may sometimes be a completely different personality to your normal MechAnima. All of your special attacks are fitted into the Legendary system."
" Why didn't you tell us this five years ago?" Sayne asked suddenly. " We could have used it before the Cylargrians took as many lives as they did."
" You weren't old enough. You weren't experienced enough in life," Commander De'Larne said. " The Legendary system would have killed all of you instantly if any of you were to tap into the system."

All of the pilots grew silent. They just wondered where Kai and Jinn were now. But no matter what, they were going to save their new friends.

[b]OOC: Ok, original pilots, get ready to save Kai and Jinn. Sakura and Idiot 2.0, post how you were captured and if the 'enemy' (which will remain nameless) tortures you and so forth.[/b][/COLOR][/FONT]

[b]OOC: [/b]Whee, Kidnapped!

[color=Navy]Kai and Stella watched as Blayze and Deviryn plummeted toward the stadium floor, before pulling up to fly horizontal, creating a dust cover. She thought it was a clever trick, but the problem was that she and Jinn couldn't see either. Kai was about to fly up into the air when there were two loud explosions, one from either side of the stadium. Kai desperately looked around to see what had happened, and was about to fly up out of the dust cover to see when something wrapped around Stella, pinning her wings down that she couldn't break free.

[b]"Everyone, don't move."[/b] a voice said from her left.

[b]"What do you want?"[/b] she heard Commander De'Larne ask from somewhere.

[b]"[/b][/color][font=Verdana][color=Navy][b]What we want, we won't say. But instead, we'll take your pretty little MechAnimas."[/b] the same voice replied.

Stella and Kai felt themselves being lifted by whatever had captured them and being pulled away. Stella let out a sharp shriek, and when they heard the loud roar of a lion, they realised Jinn and Leon had been caught too.

They heard the shout of [b]"KAI! JINN!" [/b]over the intercom from Sora, but then they disappeared and were carried away.

When they had left from the stadium, the dust cover wasn't around and she saw that they were being carried by two T-Rex mechs. Stella was bound by a ring that went around her middle, pinning her wings to the side of her body, and also a smaller ring to hold her talons, and a muzzle for her beak.

They looked over to Leon and saw that he had a muzzle, and things that looked like giant handcuffs that didn't have a chain, instead it was a small, thick metal strip. The cuffs were around his hindpaws and forepaws. There was a ring around his middle which was what he was being carried by and the cuffs were connected by a chain that ran through both sets of cuffs and were just linked together.

[b]"Jinn, can you hear me?" [/b]Kai tried over the intercom.

[b]"Kai! What's going on...?" [/b]Jinn responded. Kai let out a sigh of relief, they were both ok and their intercom still worked.

[b]"I dunno, but it looks like we're in a bit of a jam. I hope the others come for us..."[/b]

[b]"Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be here as soon as they possibly can. In the meantime, I'm worried what they want with us and/or our mechanimas." [/b]Jinn said.

Kai noticed they'd slowed down and looked around, they were entering a large warehouse of some kind and after entering, the door came down and closed with a bang. The two of them were set down but not freed. The pilots of the T-Rexs' got out and were standing in front of them, looking up at Stella and Leon. The two mechanimas growled warningly in case they decided to approach, but they couldn't do much in this situation anyway.

Lyu was running to the room where she was sur she had heard Sora's voice, she rounded the corner as Sora came out.
"What's going on? Where are the others?"
"They don't know."
"What? What do they mean they don't know? They better find out, I'm not going into a battle if there's a chance that that could happen to Desh and I even worse the newbies...or worse stilll, Ajack and Apollo."
"Lyu...did you speak with him?"
"Yes."

"I asked him to forgive me for leaving, I should ask that of all of you actually, you all have done so much even in your absance."
"We all have Lyu...look we don't have time fo this, your battle is coming up soon and we still have to find the others and where they've gone."

"Not to long ago. Look I'm heading to the gym to get sycked up, if Ajack or anybody comes looking for me, tell them I'm there...actually, just Ajack."

Lyu ran off to the gym and begane to lift weights, she was looking up when the door opened but when she walked through she stoped and blushed brighty, there, doing chin ups, just like he used to, was Ajack. He didn't seem to notice her so she went about her business, she changed behind the curtain into her gym shorts and shirt and pulled her hair under a cap and begane to lift the weights, she was lifting close to 120 when the she hit the button and accidently made it up it self to 155.
"Damn!"
she rolled out of the way as it salmed down on the besch.
"Gods...screw that. I'll do it the old fashion way."
She grabed a climbing rope, tied it around her wrist and began to lift her self off the ground with one arm over and over, she gritted her teeth after the 45th time, the caorse rope rubbing her wrist raw, she looked over at Ajack and smirked, he had headphones on, that's why he didn't notice she was there.
"What a goob."
She found her self smilign and giggleing as she watched him, she continued her exosices counting slowly and concentrateing making sure she would be able to hear the announcement for her match.

Lyu sat up in bed wipeing the sweat from her eyes as she heard over the com that the Griffin Mech had just returned.

Jinn heard her, but he could come up with no reply. He began to pull his hair out of frustration. Maybe he could cause a distraction, and Kai could get out. No doubt she was faster than he was.

"Kai listen I'm going to try to cause a distraction. When I do I want you to make a break for it."

"No! I can't leave you and the mechanima's behind."

"Would you listen I have a plan. If you get out than you can find your way back to the stadium and get some help. If I tried to make a break for it, it would take to long for me to get there and back. Trust me this should work."

"Ok, if your sure", Kai told him

"More than sure, just wait till I have them on me", Jinn said as he opened the cockpit and walked out with his hands in the air. "Okay fellows just don't hurt me, I bruise easily, he said with a smile.

"Where's the other one?", one of the pilots asked.

"Oh, her? She'll be out in am minuet. She just has to finish her makeup."

"Makeup, huh? Sounds Like my kinda girl."

"Yeah", Jinn said as he was walking in front of one of the pilots. Let the show begin, Jinn thought. He turned and rammed his knee into the guy's private parts. The other pilot had just turned around when Jinn tackled him and started to pound on his face. He looked to Stella's cockpit and yelled "Now!"

He saw the cockpit open up and Kai making a break for it. What he didn't see was a guy grabbing her from behind. Jinn, thinking that she was able to get out jumped up to try to run for it too. He turned around to find the other pilot charging at hem. Jinn having been surprised at this didn't have time to block him.

"Take this", the pilot said as he rammed his hand into Jinn's gut, knocking the breath from him.

Jinn fell to his knees, that one punch had felt like a train. He coughed up some blood as he passed out on to the floor.

Sayne looked at Sora, who was still fumming with anger about the way he treated her. He lent back in his chair

'So how do they become Ledgendary?' questioned Sayne coldly as he glared at Dr Kane

'There are special chips which were placed in the heart of Luna One...but...to get to the heart of Luna one...is very risky. the security to get to the heart...,' whispered Dr Kane, 'Your Grandfather created the serum that we placed into you. You are the key to getting to the heart. The serum we used on many...but you still have it flowing through your bones...it is there for good. The system protecting the chips is a system which thrives on emotion. one hint of fear and it'll destroy you, one hint of any kind of emotion..it'll destroy you. that serum it counter acts that system, it wipes all emotion from your body...this is why we did that too you amoungst other reasons. You are the only one that may beable to get to the heart and get those chips,'

Sayne looked at Sora whos face looked shocked

'Getting those chips will be the only way we can destroy those mechs,' whispered Dr Kane

Sayne stood up and walked over to Dr Kane, grabbed him by the collar and forced him against the wall

'Who the hell created them?' growled Sayne

'I dont know...,' whispered Dr Kane, Saynes mind was furious with anger, he mind went over everyone who would beable to create such beasts...then it stopped on one person....he knew something wasn't right.....he couldn't tell Sora because he didn't know himself..but now he knew what was eating at him. He let go of Dr Kane and ran to the door,

'Wait for me!!,' yelled Sora as she took off after him and everyone else followed, he ran outside and saw Professor Saith climb into a jeep with a few others and head off towards the abandon Sion Base. He kicked a Private out of a truck and everyone piled in.

'Sayne whats going on?' questioned Keiji

'You'll see,' replied Sayne.

Sayne pulled to a grinding hault and quickly jumped out, they all ran around the side to find Professor Saith standing there with a group of others. Saith turned around to see Sayne running at him, Sayne pulled his gun, grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall.

'WHY'D YOU BUILD THOSE!!!!!,' roared Sayne

'Sayne what are you doing?' exclaimed Dr Kane

Dr Kane tried to run over and help Saith, but Sayne aimed the gun at him, Kane backed off while everyone watched.

Saith put his head down

'WHY!!!,' roared Sayne as He fired the gun into the air giving everyone a shock, Saith nearly crumbled but Sayne held him in place

'It wasn't meant to be like this...not for this....i didn't mean for it to get like this...I was going to introduce them as guards of the games...not to go against it all...,' stuttered Saith, 'Thats all i had created them for...that was all,'

Dr Kane looked at Saith and shook his head. Sayne let him drop to the ground, infuriated Sayne then aimed at his leg and shot without any restraint. Saith let out s shrill scream

'You stupid fucking idiot!,' growled Sayne as he walked away and stood with his back turned to everyone.

'Oh great good one dickhead!,' exclaimed Dale, 'you should of created cylargres while you were at it!,'

Everyone looked at Dale who lent against the building shaking his head.

Sora walked up to Sayne and slapped him on the back of the head, 'Dammit why didn't you just tell me that you had a feeling about this,'

Sayne looked at her and rubbed the back of his head, 'Because I didn't know myself, I couldn't be certain what the feeling was...but after the meeting it struck me like lightning...I;m sorry,'

Sora then hugged him, she was still angry but...she saw his reason, he rested his head on her shoulder and sighed

'Sayne...are you going after those chips?' questioned Keiji

Sayne looked up at Keiji and Sora and then looked at the others, 'Yeah. i have to or we stand no chance against them,'

Keiji nodded, Sayne looked at Sora and he kissed her, tears swelled in her eyes.

'The equipment is ready Dr Kane,' spoke a Private as he walked out of the Lab. Sayne looked down at his arms which bearred the hashful past which he lived, a past of what he wanted to forget...but it followed him everywhere.

'Sayne are you ready?' questioned Dr Kane

Sayne gave a slight nod and a serious stare.

'hey wait...i thought that serum was destroyed?' questioned Lyu

'yes it is...but not the one in him. right now it is dormant, it remains in him because of the hig dosages we gave him. Body absorded it and kept it...so now...as you might say....we are going to jump start it again..and hopefully, we wont have to ever again,' explained Dr Kane

'Lets get it over and done with,' growled Sayne. dr Kane gave a nod and opened the door. sayne then turned to Sora

'What ever i say and do...don't take it to heart...you know I love you..and that forever i will love you,' whispered sayne as he touched her cheek, tears ran down her eyes

'I know...you pain in the ass,' she tried to smiled as he wiped her tears away, 'you do what you have to do...just come back to me...i love you so much,'

He kissed her deeply and held her close, he put his head down and for the first time...a single tear fell from his eye, but noone saw as he quickly turned and walked into the lab and the door closed

The lab:

Sayne Lay down on the examination table...it brought back memories..so many memories.. Dr kanes apprentices hooked up many lines and injected a yellow fluid into him, and then they began. They stood behind a screen and watched as Sayne's eyes rolled into his head as they pumped through a red substance to activate the serum which was dormant....his body began to shake violently as the dormant serum shot through his body..he let out a cry of pain as he clenched his fists and arched his back, suddenly there was a blinding light and then it desappeared and Sayne now lay on the table looking at the ceiling. He ripped his arms upward snapping the leather bindings that held him down and sat up. Dr kane walked towards him

'Sayne?' questioned Kane

Sayne looked at Dr Kane, his face was expressionless and harsher than what it was five years ago, his eyes very like cold stone and they seemed to burn a hole right through Dr Kane, saynes stare made him shiever

Sayne walked to the door with Dr Kane behind him. They walked out to the others

'Those mechs should have weaknesses, find out what they are, saith should know, and try to track down where the others were taken and we need a plan, i 'll be back soon,' spoke Sayne in a tone which was colder and harsher than what it was five years ago. Sayne looked at them without any emotion in his eyes and then ran down the hallway.

he ran out into the holding bay where Deviryn was, boarded Deviryn and took off into the sky, he had to get back to L.S One which resided in space, Deviryn roared as they flew into the sky and diappeared. His mind was clear and his heart bear no emotion. The key to getting into Lunar one's heart.

The cheetah mech swung its right cannon around and shot up dirt at the feet of the enemy pilots, who left their captives and sprinted to thier mechs. The cheatah used the left cannons to shatter the shackles and bindings on the liger and eagle mechs.
[COLOR=Black]" lets go sunshine we havent got all day!"[/COLOR] a male voice boomed from the cheetah.
kai shook jin and helped him struggle back into the cockpit of his mech then strapped herself into her own, looking ahead she could see that the T-Rexs had just stiffened thier tails and seemed to be powering up for something.
"hey guys get out! ill try to distract these turkeys!"
with a deep growl the cheetah sprinted across the kidnapped mechs and fired at the enemy

the ploy half worked as both the Rex's aimed at the streaking silver cheetah and opened thier mouths unleashing massive beams of energy. the high powered beams barely missed the silver blurr. the two T-Rexs activated thier cloaking amd foolowed the new arival.
the pilot of the cheetah watched his screen as the two new mechs made good thier escape by land and by air.
the sliver form streaked off into the desert with the two enemy mechs in tow.

[color=Navy]Kai had watched from her cockpit as Jinn walked out with his hands raised. They talked for a while, Kai was crouched near the exit of the cockpit and was waiting for the signal. Stella knew what was happening and was prepared too.

[b]"I don't want to leave you here, Stella." [/b]Kai whispered the her mechanima.

[b]["No, you must go and find help. I'll be fine."]

[/b]Kai heard Jinn's call from below and Stella opened the exit, Kai jumped out and ran for the exit of the warehouse, sprinting as fast as she could, not turning back to see Jinn. She had gotten out of the warehouse and ran some distance when she saw an unusual shimmer in the sky. Kai looked at it suspiciously and saw it was headed back to the warehouse. Carefully Kai followed it, believing it was a friend.

Following it back in, it appeared and Kai saw it was a cheetah. As she was watching it with awe someone had gotten behind her and caught her. Kai struggled, and the cheetah swung his cannon, knocking over all of the enemies. Kai ran over to Jinn and shook him into consciousness. She helped him stand and gently shoved him toward Leon. The two of them got into their cockpits and the cheetah shattered the bindings that had them captured.

[b]"Alright! We're back in action, let's go Stella!" [/b]she cried happily, linking up with the eagle.

Kai and Stella started to run toward the exit, it was a little strange because eagles weren't meant for the land, but there wasn't enough room to fly, so they had to get to open ground first. Leon ran up beside them and told them to hitch a ride. Stella awkwardly flapped onto Leon's back and lay down so they could make it through the exit. When they were in the open, Leon ran a little faster so Stella could get more wind under her wings. stella spread her wings, and after getting enough air, she flapped, soaring into the air.

Finally being able to fly, she screeched happily, flying above Leon as he ran along the ground. Kai looked back to see if the cheetah was coming, but he hadn't emerged. Forgetting about their rescuer, she brought up a com with Jinn.

"I'm fine, I just got knocked out." [/b]Jinn replied.

[b]"Do you know your way back?" [/b]they asked simultaeneously, then sweatdropped. It seemed like they both didn't know where to go.

Kai messed around with her controls and brought up a map. She used the GPS system and looked for the base. She got her directions and flew ahead of Leon, telling them to follow.

Once Ajack had heard about the two being kidnapped..he immidiately lef the base and went after them. He didn't need any chip for his mech...he had kept it with him ever since he had left.

Ajack: "Darrius....are you ok...."

Darrius: "Yea...just being chased by a couple of these shitheads."

Kai: "Me and Jinn are heading back to the base now...where are you?"

Ajack: "I'm right in front of you...about a mile or so above your current location."

Kai looked up with her eagle and sure enough...with the sun shining off its golden body, a massive Griffin could be seen flying above her.

Ajack: "Darrius...get out into the desert right away...Kai and Jinn...lure the rest of the enemy mech's to your position."

Jinn: why?

Ajack: "Trust me.....your mechs haven't been upgrades with special attacks...Darrius, just get those enemy units out in the open."

Darrius: "Gotcha man...I'm sure I know what you're planning...just like old times."

Ajack: "Just like old times my friend..."

As Ajack said...Darrius ran out into the open with a number of enemy mech's following him. Kai and Jinn hung back for him to catch up.......the speed of the Cheetah was incredible...easily creating distance from the enemy.

Apollo immidiately began its rapid decent back towards the earth, its four massive wings and boasters working hard to pick up speed. He looked like a missle cutting through the air as Apollo got himself between his friends and the enemy.

As he landed...there was a minor earthquake that erupted, causing the enemy units to halt and stand their ground.

[I]Not only that...look...[/I] and beyond the enemy...the warehouse which Kai and Jinn were obviously held in was in view...the enemy just happened to be inbetween Apollo and its target.

Charge Apollo![/I] as Ajack's hands grasped his controls tightly...Apollo lunged its hands and hind legs into the earth, finding itself a solid base as its massive wings began to flap. His ruby red eyes began to glow brightly...a small tornadoe seemed to be created around Apollo as he continued to charge up.

[I]Alright....[/I] suddenly...memories of the last battle flooded to his mind. When Lyu and the others were captured...the hatred brewed within him against such foes. To attack those who mattered most to him....the worst anyone could do....

Ajack took a glance at Lyu's picture and smiled slightly...
"FIRE!"

Thrusting Apollo's neck forward towards the group of enemy units....a massive beam of energy came forth from Apollo's beak and tore right through all the mechs, destroying every last one of them. The beam continued right towards the warehouse...and once contact was made. An explosion insuded, sending out a shockwave through the ground due to its force.

Sand blew all over the place as Darrius and the others looked on. When the dust finally cleared...Apollo was seen walking out of the mist.

Lyu ran outas the Mechs came in, she stood still as the wind from Apollo's blasters blew her hair back. She sighed as Ajack steped out safetly.
"Thank the gods above he's okay..."
She ran out to the others and helped Jinn down.
"You look like you guys took a knock..."
"Not to bad."
She nodded to the others as they got off as well. She looked at Ajack and blushed as her eyes welled up. She didn't shed the tears but she knew they were noticable. She grabbed his arm and pulled him into the hanger away from the others.
"Lyu, what are you doing? Let go!"
He tore his arm from her geasp spinning her on the spot, the tears now flowing silently.
"Why are you crying?"
"You should-you should've told someone you were leaving...I- I was worried...Ajack...I just...I left once, I gave up and let you go...I'm not going to do that again..."
she shook her head and wiped her eyes, she was tougher than this.
"Look, we have a match soon, get ready..."
She punched his arm lightly, letting her fingers linger there for a second longer.
"Good luck..."
She held her ehad high and walked away from him.

She walked out and down to her room.

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Sora looked over the stadium as it was being repaired hastily for the next match. Then she looked at the sky. She hoped that Sayne would soon return to her. Tears started forming in her eyes. Hoping that the serum would wear off by the time he returned, that's if he did, Sora turned away and went to gather the others for the upcoming battle.

Going down the many flights of stairs into the base, images of Sayne floated across her mind's eye. All Sora wanted was Sayne. To feel him close beside her. She was starting to worry about him. It had been four hours since he took off towards LS One. Darrius had made a surprise return and saved Kai and Jinn, with the unsurpassable help of Ajack.

Wondering if Ajack and Lyu would ever get back together, Sora walked to the main common room to see all of the pilots standing there. She cleared her throat to gain their attention. They all turned to her.

" Your match will be in an hour. I think you guys need to get ready. As you know, it's another team battle. Are you all sure you're all up to it?"
They all nodded. " Ok. See you out there then. Keiji, could you come with me."
Keiji stood up from his seat and walked behind Sora as she walked to her and Sayne's room. Closing the door behidn them, Keiji and Sora sat down on the couch.
" What's up Sora?" Keiji asked kindly.
" I'm worried about Sayne Keiji," Sora replied.

Keiji looked at Sora, seeing tears forming in her eyes. He felt sorry for her, but at the same time wasn't all that worried about Sayne. Should he? He always turned out fine, be it a near-death experience or a walk down the street.

"I'm worried about Sayne, Keiji." She said quietly. Her face was flushed with emotion, but she kept it under control. Looking at the floor, she slowed her breathing.

"He's gonna be okay, Sora. You know that. He's fine." He said. However, he wasn't all that sure he would be. It was a nice thing to say, though. No one wants to hear that their lover might be in serious trouble.

"How do you know?" She said, nearly shouting at him. Realizing she was getting too worked up, she quieted back down to her regular tone. "I'm just worried about him."

Kejij nodded, not saying anything for a while. He had grown quieter, and didn't like to talk as much. Especially to someone worked up and about to cry. But this was Sora, he reminded himself. He had to at least hear her out.

"I know he's alright because he lived during the last attack. Remeber how he completely shot his MechAnima's frame? I'm pretty sure what ever he's in now is less-dangerous than that. He'll be okay." Keiji said in a soft voice. Sora looked at him, wanting to believe every word he had said.

Idly taking a few steps around the room, he ended up a few feet closer to Sora. He surveyed her facial expression, as he looked at the ground again, ruminating over the situation. She had calmed herself down, but it was still a rough situation.

"Keiji, what if he's dead? What if he dies, or gets hurt?" She asked, almost assured it was the case.
