DBZgirl88
Okay, this is a problem that's been haunting me for a long time. How do you cut parts of an image out, like cutting a person out without any trace of the original background in the picture? Properly, that is. The edges are always messed up when I try it. I've even magnified and image to extreme size, and carefully erased the edges, one pixel at a time, but it still doesn't produce good results. Any photo editing genuises out there who can help me out?
ArunueShekamari
It depends on the program you're using and the tools the program has. there are alot of tools to make a mask so you can cut out an image, but you need a selection tool that alows you to costomize the shape of the mask. what program are you using? Zeta
If you are using Photoshop 7 you can use the extract tool, filter>extract. Just outline what you want to extract and then fill it. Works really well. I don't know if it is the same for other versions of Photoshop if you are using one of them. Seven is just what I use. ^_^;
Syk3
I thought you just use the little dotted line thing.. <----- BAKA haha
Please try to expand a little bit on your suggestion. I don't even have any clue what you're talking about. lol For me, it depends on the picture. If there is a lot of one color in the background, I'll use the magic wand to select it and then delete it bit by bit. Otherwise, I will often just do a sloppy erasing job around the object, and then go back and carefully cut it out with the eraser tool. But usually I don't spend a lot of time cutting out objects, either because I don't like to put myself in that situation, or I just include the background and fade it in using the Feather tool when selecting part of the image, and cutting it out. Good luck, and I'll be happy to clarify any of that further if you need me to.
ArunueShekamari
Well, you have to reason that she/he (sorry <_<) may use a different editing program, there may be different tools with different names, so it's hard to explain how to do anything without knowing the program being used first.
