The Blue
Mine was one of the most mixed days I have had in a long time. It started out great, I went to school and had 18 red carnations and a teddy bear sent to the girl I like. Then, in my 6th period class I was sent 2 from the girl I like as well. So it was pretty much starting out as one of the best V-Days I've had in a while. Then I came home, and sat down at my computer as usual to talk to my friends and check out what's going down in the Mage Compendium, to see a new announcement Titled " Goodbye Anduran The Artisan. . ." At first I thought oh no, we are losing the best mage in EQ, why is he quitting ??? But when I opened up the thread I found the message one of his RL friends posted. He had killed himself on the 3rd. That pretty much screwed the rest of my day all to hell. Never have I ever had such a bad and good day all in one. :( So, how was your V-Day? Was it bad, good, or so so ?
Black Moon
Wow. Well, mine was bad. I was sick. And still am sick. Bleh. So I still haven't given my boyfriend his card and sugar (the food sugar, not to think kisses or anything). And I'll have probably ended up missing something really cool that happened in school on the 14th.

Frankie
I woke up, Went to school, Pissed and moaned all day, went home, went to sleep, woke up today and said "thank god thats over" All the chicks squeeling up and down the halls about flowers candy and teddy bears with red fur and letters spelling out be mine or i lovey ou or something like that. It all makes me sick. Its a day where everyone makes others feel loved and wanted... Pah! Any day is good for that... I hate valentines day... Nuff said. Annie
Will these V-Day topics ever go away? I worked all of the day yesterday, so I was occupied enough to keep my mind off of this "holiday". I then got to talk to Joe for a couple of hours and made fun of him because he likes Vin Diesel. Needless to say, it was an all right day. -wonders why she posted-
Skye
Well, out of everyone who?s already posted, I seem to have had the best day. So my crush was at home, he was sick. We emailed each other for a while, and then I went upstairs to clean house because my mom went to the store. I got everyone looking wonderful. I felt good about that. So I finally asked my crush out last night. So now I am not currently single. :) My family roleplayed GURPS till 3 am, so I had fun with that. I had a lot of fun. In fact, my BEST Valentines Day EVER. I am a very happy girl.
Sea Of Chaos666
I had a totaly crappy V-day. As a matter a fact mine are always crappy I only have like...2 or 3 friends and we are all kinda poor so we can't get anything for each other. We also don't get much from other people because were picked on alot. We got some "Anime suck!" and You guy's suck!!" for V-day but that's about it.... Roxie Faye
Here, I'll copy and paste from my myOtaku, because I'm just that lazy. "My V-day was better than it has been in past years. I got a rose from Marlena and I played DDR at the singles only party! ^__^ My opthamologist is a jerk though. She almost made me cry, and I thought it was going to ruin my day, but when I got home, I listend to t.A.T.u and that made me feel better. She's such a jerk though. She was very frank and cold to me when I was in the eye room alone with her, but as soon as my mom comes in she's all happy and cheery. What a two-faced jerk, I tell you. *throws tomatoe at opthamologist*" For those of you that didn't have a good day, don't worry. I haven't had a good Valentine's day since fourth grade, and I'm dead serious. The holiday needs to be abolished I tell you. lol.
Retribution
Mine was rather uneventful, I suppose. I wanted to get a candygram from a girl, even an anonymous one, but alas, I recieved none (candygram is like ... a letter with candy delivered to pepople). I got a ribbon from the girl that sat in front of me in rhetoric. She put it on top of my head while my head was down. But I'm not going to go reading into things too much. She has a boyfriend. Anyway, I don't see why people (like Blanko) hate V-Day so much. So what if girls run up and down the hall squealing? It's supposed to be a happy day, even if you don't have a special-someone. Zenriek
...Actually, mine was nothing much. We had it the day before, kind of. Before I went to bed, my mom gave me a big thing of m&ms, and said happy v-day. I gave her a hug, said thank you, and happy v-day, and went to sleep. The next day, I got on candy gram... But so did everyone else, since everyone in my class got one from my teacher.... I was making a valentine pic fo rmy friend, but a guy crumpled it up, thinking it was funny, so when I went home I redid it and will give it to her tommorow (she wasn't at school today). ...That was my wonderful valentines day... joy.....
Roxas
I can understand why people like Blanko dont like it. I used to be like that. Its just the fact that some people take it way to seriously (some people take halloween to seriously but thats something completely different). And when you do something for someone they think that you love the person alot or something when you could be doing because you wanted to be nice or the person never gets a valentine so you wanted to make them happy you know? This V-Day was different for me for two reaseons this year. 1) I finnaly got my first girlfriend (not on V-day) and 2) Now that Im in high-school it seems so different. I mean at my middle school they have a dance, and so many other things and the elamentry is completely different its like they have a free day! But I was fine with that change. Other than all that, my V-day wasclose to perfect.
Dragonboym2
Well, I have no girfreind I'm afraid. I've had crushes, but nothing beyond that. I went to work, I came back from work, I had dinner, a basic normal day. Besides, the girl I still have feelings for, never returns her e-mails, and I don't know her shcedual, or her number. (Sigh). "Oh, cruel fate! Why must you mock me on this blessed day of love!?" "KAMEHAMEHA!" Dragonboym2
Queen Asuka
Well, I woke up, took a shower, got dressed, went to racquetball, went to the CLC and studied for Sociology, went to O-Chem, went to take Sociology test, went back to CLC to work on Chem lab report, went to Chem lab, came home, ordered Chinese with my roommate, watched Napolean Dynamite, talked to my Ryan for a while, and then went to sleep. Yep, it was a normal day pretty much. Except that I didn't get to see my Ryan for Valentine's day. But that's alright. We got to spend the weekend together. AND OH MY GOSH, I am so sick and tired of people whining and complaining about Valentine's Day. It is the COOL thing to do now to hate V-day if you're single. Or heck, even if you're not single it's COOL to hate V-day. Just GET OVER IT. Maybe I hate the Fourth of July. It's just another day of the year. And just because no one gave you anything, doesn't mean you have to wallow in self-pity.

No I dont hate halloween... nor do I like it... But anyways... And one more thing. I dont feel sorry for myself about not celebrating the holidays and not geting birthday/ chrsitmass presents each year and I am not feeling sorry for myself about not having someone.I have friends... Panda
Let's not get too upset over the discussion of the holiday. Love it or hate it, everyone has their opinions on Valentine's Day as well as any holiday. Let's just all stick with the topic which is how was your Valentine's Day. :) My Valentine's Day was pretty much uneventful. I slept in for most of the morning since I was up until 4am that morning, so I was pretty tired. When I did get up I made myself some brunch and watched some television. My hubby came home early from work to spend the day with me. He bought me 2 chocolate bars. I am not a big fan of the holiday so they were just plain Hershey's chocolate bars not one of those Valentine themed candies. He made me dinner and we watched anime together. All and all it was a nice day.
Jonexe
Eeeehhhhh... monday wasn't too great for me. I accidently slept through my Photoshop class, which costs me a good 40 points, and a couple hours worth of work on a stupid Lab....... thankfully it's not a major portion of the grade. Then when I finally DID wake up... had to go to my stupid Digital Documents class (Some corney Microsoft Word + Acrobat Professional class) and sit around bored to tear during a test. Thankfully, instead of making us sit the FOUR HOURS, the professor let us go once we finished up the test. Uh... then the night just went down hill from there. Tons of crap, basically. I got a call from a special person at like midnight, which lasted maaaaaaaaaybe ten minutes. T'was the highlight of my day. Oh well... I leveled a couple times in FFXI; that's good, right? DarkOtakuBoy
Ugh. I hope I'm not too late with this topic. I don't want to dredge up old posts, but I have been away for a few weeks. Monday was really horrible for me. Working in a supermarket bakery the last few years has made me hate almost all holidays. I spent all of Feb. 14th working my butt off, and it was insane. What I really want to know is, why does everyone wait till the last minute to get their cakes and pastries for their loved one? I spent the whole day in my own private Hell of a bakery writing on peoples cakes, and filling up the front that was picked clean like vultures pecking at meat. I spent the rest of Febuary 14th taking down V-Day decorations and putting up St. Patricks crap. How appropriate. Me, ripping up paper hearts and plastic cupids, and throwing them in a garbage bag, awaiting to be crushed in an industrial sized compactor. ^_^ Lenny
ChibiHorsewoman
I had a fairly decent V-day. I got a full nights sleep because abby slept thru the night :wow: Then I called around for a dentist and found out I didn't have dental insurance because no one had told Lincoln that he had to sign me up for it when we were married back in '02. And I couldn't enroll because he won't be in the army for atleast a year. So I had a small B.F. then went to find a place that had a slide plan. Then I found one and went there I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if I qualify. Dammit! I stopped home real quick to tell everyone what was going on then drove out to the really upscale mall in my area. I went into the Coach store and the sales ladies were nice to me. I went to Express Men and the sales ladies couldn't get enough of my daughter. Then I went into the lingerie and panties setion of Victoria's Secret and was snubbed and completely ignored. I know it wasn't because of how I was dressed, I was wearing Paper Denim jeans, nice heeled boots (you couldn't even tell they were from Payless), a denim jacket from Gap one of their camisoles as a top and an antique brooch. But nothing. One woman was like three feet from me and looked right at me and didn't even say anything. I walked out of that section and went into their fragrance store, the lady there asked me how I was and I said, 'wow, someone over here is talking to me.' So she asked why I said that and I told her and she was nice enough to get the manager from over in the lingerie part of the store who asked me what happened. I told her and she asked if I wanted to look around now. I just told her, no, but thank you anyways. Then I looked around in the Vikki's Secret fragrance and left thanking the lady at the counter for her help. I went into Kaufman's (it's kind of like Dillards) and Abby decided that she wanted a Lime Green Michael Kors bag. Yeah, I know she's almost 5 months, but you know she wanted it. Finally I went to dinner with my parents. I forgot the name of the place, but tehy have really good sandwhiches salads and desserts.

Fall
My Valentine's Day was alright. Considering I forgot all about it until the day before, and then forgot about it again. :drunk: My ex-girlfriend (as of tonight) bought me the Metallica DVD "Some Kind Of Monster", after I kinda hinted that I wanted it. I bought her a nice bracelet. ...not much else happened. Nothing really. :smoke:
