BEST ACTION GAMECUBE GAMES

1. Soul Calibur 2: One of the best fighting games out there. The weapons are great, and there is a lot of charachter variety.

2. Super Smash Bros. Melee: Very cool melee game with an enormous pallet of moves. I haven't lost interst in this game over 3 and one half years.

3. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Yes the game is increadibly glitchchy and half the levels suck, but the story, vibe, and most of all the Chao garden have kept me interested for three years.

BEST GAMECUBE STRATEGY GAME

1. Pikmin: This is one of the weirdest games Ive ever played, and it is insanely hard, but as a strategy game it is truly amazing.

BEST GAMECUBE RPG

1. Phantasy star Online Episode 1-2: Get together with a few friends and blaze through the utterly repetititive funn-ess of this neeto RPG. I have logged at least 30 hours into the first two levels of this game.

BEST GAMECUBE DRIVING GAME

1. F-Zero GX: I love the F-zero franchise, because you can go really fast, and still turn with ease.

BEST GAMECUBE ADVENTURE GAME

1. The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker: A very fun, bright Zelda game with an excellent story.

BEST GAMECUBE PUZZLE GAME

1. Wario Ware inc. Mega Party Games: I find this game insanely addictive, and it makes me feel like I have ADD and am pouring sugar down my throat.

Best action game on Gamecube:

Viewtiful Joe- Some may scoff at the 2.5 D look but it is insanly addictive and actually a bit tough.
Runner Up- Super Smash Bros Melee- Pure Gaming goodness. It is an excellent game even 3 years after its release.
2nd Runner Up- XIII- This game is shooting godliness and hard to pass up.

Best Gamecube Strategy Game- ?????????- I haven't played any Gamecube Strategy games.

Best Gamecube RPG:
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1-2: I chose this for the RPG catergory because it is addictive as hell. Does't help that it is fun with Multiplayer.
Runner Up- Lord of the Rings: The Third Age which is second because even though it is a clone of FF10 it works well because you can see all changes in the characters equipment.

Best Gamecube Driving Game- Crazy Taxi- Its just because it is Crazy Taxi ok, What Simpsons Road Rage tryed to copy and failed.

BestGamecube Puzzle Game-
I guess Mario Party 4. It is my favourite Mario Party and I haven't played Wario Ware yet.

Best ACtion Game:
1. Metroid Prime Hunters: By far one of the best FPS games I have evr played. Not just that the game can take up to 30 hours to complete but that it always keeps you guessing. The fact that it is not mission based keeps me interested because it's like playing RPGs again.

2. Super Smash Brothers Melee: Even without a second control this game has given me years of fun. The loss of a second control means I can't finish the game but hey who's complaining.

Best Strategy Game:
1. Pokemon Colliseum: The only one I can vote for as it's the only one on the list I've played. This game at least attempted to bring the RPG to GCN.

Best RPG:
1. Tales of Symphonia: Great Storyline, great game mechanics, great battlesystem and spread over two discs. This game has given me hours of fun and there is no getting away from the fact that you just want to play it again and again.

Best Racing Game:
1. Mario Kart Double Dash: What can I say. It's mario kart with a twist.

Best Adventure game:
1. Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker. Most people hated the cell shaded graphics. I looked past that and said hey a new Zelda game, awesome.

Best Puzzle Game:
Haven't played any of them so I'm not voting here.

PS2 Action Game

1) GTA San Andreas- This game is just pure gaming goodliness. It is one of the longest ever and fun as hell.

2) Dynasty Warriors 4- I just love this game, Killing tons of Asians makes my day.

3) Ratchet & Clank: Goning Commando- I also love this game because it is fun as although a little hard sometimes.

PS2 Strategy Game-

WORMS 3D- I like Worms games, Plain and simple. This is a multiplayer classic although I am yet to try Forts: Under Seige

PS2 RPG-

1) Suikoden 3- Everyone knows that I like the Suikoden games and although it wasn't as good as the last outing it is still just as fun.
2) FF 10- Came Second only because of the Dubbing. Aaargh, my bleeding ears.

PS2 Driving Game- Burnout 3: Takedown because it is so Destructive. They reward you for taking out over people. Reward for Destruction!!!!!!!!

PS2 Adventure Game- I guess Soul Reaver 2 because I like the funb of the original and it captures the spirit of the original.

[/size][/b][size=1]I know it wasn't on the list, but I can't help but vote for it...

I was going to go with Vice City, or SanAndreas, but the reason I went with III is simple, I liked the missions, the radio, city layout and overall atmospere the best of the 3, not to mention the fact that this game brought GTA from it's old top-down days into glorious 3D, and, while the graphics bugged out on occasion, GTAIII had many other elements that made it a winner, missions and mob bosses were varied, and the peds would say some of the most funny and random things, such as blurting out Village People lyrics while walking the street. It's randomness was also a factor.

[b]Worms 3D

[/b]While I may have traded it in since, Worms 3D is my pick for strategy game of the years. The multiplayer mode is great, controls aren't too clunky, and the humor of a war of the worms can't be beat!

I did preferr the original 2D Worms to the 3D version, where there was too much water resulting in nearly every death being a water one, I miss the random death-by going off-screen thing, too.

[/u]Final Fantasy X

[/b]The first RPG I've played, save for Final Fantasy VII Which is out of the years stipulated for these awards.

FF10 was an incredible RPG, I'm nominating it for it's superb graphics, FMV sequences and story, The msot interesting element for me was that story, and how everything that is set up at the beginning of the RPG is turned on it's head and leaves you following another patht to the truth. Way Cool.

[/b]I only played crash mode at a party once, but it was enough for me to nominate it, burnout 2's crash mode, where you score points for crashing in more spectacular ways, was a heap of fun to play.
