?No I haven?t ever left South America. Have you been there??

?Nope?

They found their seats in the back of the plane by the windows.
?Awesome, this should be a good adventure then.? She let Ima have the window seat and threw their bags into the overhead bins.

?Ok, I suggest for the flight, you work on meditating. It?ll help you control your powers and sense other levels of the world around you. OK, close your eyes?

Ima nodded and closed them

?Now, clear your mind. If you have to, think of physically pushing everything out. Ok, slowly, think about the air, feel the air on your face and it yourself. Then feel the plane beneath you, the plastic of the seats, the humming of the engines. Now, reach out a touch the world around you with your thoughts, feel the world around you.?

Ima gasped, she could, she could hear the birds outside the plane, she could feel the breeze outside the plane, she felt connected to everything. She opened her eyes

?That?s amazing.?

Kariz smiled ?Yeah, if you keep practicing soon you?ll be able to reach into your powers and feel them out. Then eventually you?ll be able to sense places farther from where you are and with concentration you can look for something specific.?

Ima grinned ?That is so cool?

Kariz returned her grin ?I propose you practice on the way over. I?ll disturb you if the in flight movie is any good.?

--------------------------
They arrived in Greece a little after 1:00 pm. They walked from the airport and took a taxi into the main part of the city.

?I don?t know about you, but I?m starving? Ima said, holding her stomach for dramatic effect

Kariz laughed ?Good call. Let?s see if we can find some place to eat.?

They walked down the streets, packed with tourists and loud traffic noises filled their ears. Kariz grabbed a tourist map and looked it over. She found a restaurant that was a bit of a walk but seemed to be out of the way of the major crowds.

They sat and scanned the menus. Ima looked at the table and picked up a newspaper. After scanning it for a bit she nudged Kariz.

?Listen to this. The criminal convicted of assassinating the world leaders escaped lethal injection with the help of a female officer whose name is unknown. Police and specialty agencies are hunting for both fugitives at this time. Any information regarding either person can be directed to this phone number??

?Damn, sounds like one hell of a coincidence. You think they?re still in Greece??

Ima shrugged ?No idea, but I wouldn?t stick around if I had that charge on my head.?

Kariz nodded ?True, but still, we should watch our backs.?

You've got to be kidding me... Rubedo thought to himself as he stood...

"Come on Rubedo...I just took a look at the news...they may be looking for us, but they don't know that it was me that helped you escaped. You've avoided capture before; I just got lucky..." Raven was cut off by Rubedo...

"Regardless...I'm not going."

"How come...." now she was really irritated...this guy was impossible.

"Cause I said so..." he responded as he stood before her.

She now was really upset...loosing control of her rage, she threw a punch at his face, only to have her fist caught by his palm, his strenght pushing back at hers.

"You're an asshole...you know that Rubedo!" she almost had enough of him...maybe letting him go was a bad idea.

"Not my loss..." he responded as he threw her arm to the side and walked into his room...leaving Raven to ponder.

Raven wanted to be so mad at him...but she couldn't bring herself to do it. For some reason...she instantly forgave him. Taking a seat in the living room, she turned on the news to get an update on the situation..."I'm going with or without you Rubedo!" she declared to him with his bedroom door closed in an act of defiance.

"Stupid girl..." he muttered underneathe his voice as he got himself dressed. Raven had gotten all his weapons for him before they escaped the complex the day before. Putting on all his black clothes...his trench coat covering the scimitars at his sides, and the holters for his two 9mm automatic weapons below his armpits.

He looked at himself in the mirror, and saw the dark figure before him...his eyes burning red like that of the flames of hell....too many times he had to visit that place...dressed in all black...he looked like a goth...a shadowy tint underneathe his eyes...hidden behind the falling bangs.

God.......damn it!

Rubedo left his room upset with himself as the door banged up against the wall as he opened it. He quickly walked past Raven and headed for the door..."I'm coming too...lets go!"

Without saying anything...Raven followed him out, locking the door behind her.

***The Mall***

I have to stay with her...especially if the Zodiac find her...and I still have to keep my word to make up for my debt.

Rubedo hated being out in public...the black backwards hat and red sunglasses were back on as the couple walked throughout the mall. Little kids were becoming frightened of Rubedo...just his presence was intimidating enough.

"Why do you have to be that way?" asked Raven...seeing the people around them getting worried.

"Why do they have to treat me like that for who I am...why must I change for them?" he quickly responded.

OCC: SOMEONE SAVE RUBEDO!!! ACK!!! ;)...happy Reiku!

Heaven? Was it really that simple? Lucifer didn't think so, there had to be a catch. But then again, Azrael looked so sincere. The sound of his voice before he left sounded so hurt, so filled with pain. He didn't want to hurt Azrael anymore than he already had. As much bitterness and hate that he carried in his heart, there was something that broke when he looked upon the Angel again.

He sighed, throwing himself in a chair, tossing his head back and gazing towards the ceiling, finally doing something he hadn't done in ages. He decided to speak to God.

"What is it that you want from me?" He practically asked his ceiling, "Why are you making me choose, I know you could strike her down just as easily. This really isn't fair to anyone but you..."

He sighed, placing his hands over his face as his mind continued to work overtime, even much so that he started thinking about the past. And the people who were a part of it.

Lucifer walked through hell, not paying much mind to the screams of the damned that echoed around him. He wasn't one for really watching or caring for them much, the damned humans got what was comming to them after all. He had returned to Hell brandishing a demon that had been making quite a mess in the human world. He was on his way out when something, or more like someone barred his path, making a leap at him.

"Morningstar!" The damned one known as Reoan charged him, her only weapon were fists, "You bastard! Show me the exit!"

As she neared him he caught both of her wrists to subdue her, but it made her thrash and scream instead. Screams of anger now mixing with screams of pain nearby. Lucifer had a hard time holding her, thus he cast her down with a loud crash on the ground,

"Foolish beast!" He cursed at her, lifting his foot to stomp her, but she had already scrambled to her feet, keeping a slight distance. Lucifer grinned manicaly at her, noting her determination, "Who let you off your leash?"

She spat at the ground before him, looking up with an equaly smug grin, "I killed the stupid bastard. You idiots don't have many things worth fighting in this dump."

Lucifer smirked, wondering if he should strike her down right there. But he witheld his urges as he slowly approached Reoan, towering over the smaller woman. She glared up at him defiantly, not striking at him oddly enough.

"You're to stay here." He said slowly, moving to sweep past her, his path being barred once again. He scowled down at her, beginning to loose his patience.

"Tell me Morningstar," She grinned up at him, her eyes narrowing dangerously, "Do you know what it's like to taste revenge?"

When he didn't answer she continued, "I want my revenge on heaven, we're alike, because you want that too."

Lucifer's eyes snapped as he shot his arm out, back handing the guardian that stood before him. He absolutely loathed the fact that others felt they had a right to talk about his war on heaven, and hearing it from a damned creature such as Reoan wasn't making matters much better. He shortly regretted his actions as he looked upon the rather pitifull creature standing before him. Perhaps she was right in her own way, and that they were similar in their goals. He reached down to harshly grasp her chin, dragging her gaze to his,

"If you want to leave Hell and cast war on Heaven, you must not ask of others like a weakling." He then let go of her and stalked off, nearly fuming inside.

From that day on they had learned to cope with eachother, becomming a bit more friendly each time, untill Lucifer chose to leave hell for a long while. Then there was the meeting earlier today.

He shook his head from the chair he sat in, standing and walking for the door. He couldn't decide now, he must talk to Reoan. He stormed out into the street, finding Azrael waiting for him, he looked as if he had been crying. Lucifer approached him and pulled him into a small embrace,

"My friend, My lovely Azrael," He spoke softly, "I have not decided yet, I must seek council elsewhere."

He backed away from him, spreading his own wings for flight, "I will come back for you."

Those words hung in the air as he was already gone, seeking out Reoan, who seemed to be near the carribiean.

Reoan pulled her coat tightly around her, not really wanting to zip it up. The air was still warm, despite the slight breeze that had started up. She had removed her shoes to take in the warmth of the ocean water and the sand that lay so peacefully on the shore. The over powering smell of salt water and sea creatures filled the air as the sun began to sink farther and farther down the horizon.

"Will I ever know why you had to take Caleb from me?" Reoan spoke out softly, to who ever so wished to listen. "Why was is so wrong for us to live like the creatures you made us to look like? Why would you give us the ability to feel such things and demand us not to? A challenge--a test to see if we were worth existing?" Reoan shook her head and kicked at a random shell on the beach. Her head hung low and her hair swirled around gently.

Reoan suddenly brought her head up. Something tugged at her insides. She smiled at the familiar feeling and turned around to see Lucifer. He was dressed in his traditional clothing, very classy and modern. His black hair danced about his face and his wing exposed.

"Hello Morning Star." She said just above a whisper. The vibrant words floated across the slight breeze and over to Lucifer. He stood a good twenty yards for him.

Lucifer walked towards her, his feet making no prints in the sand as he stepped easily over it. He soon was nearly standing over her, as he did so many times before, but this time he didn't seem so happy to see her."Reoan," He said, looking about the beach while wrinkling his nose, "can't stay away from the heat can you?"

Reoan smiled playfully. "Of course not. Been around it for far too long."

He shook his head, looking down at the sand below them, croutching down to pick up a handfull of it, watching as it silently slid through his fingers into the breeze.

Reoan watched him for a moment, her smile fading. "You didn't come here to be socialable did you, Lucifer?"

He looked up slowly, meeting her dark eyes, "No Reoan, I did not."

The ex-Guardian wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her suede jacket close to her body and her shoes dangling from her right hand. The warm ocean water slowly washed over her feet as the waves started to roll in steadly. "Why did you come then?" Reoan's voice had lost its luster and fell to a calm, yet depressing sound.

"I received a message from God" He tilted his head slightly, keeping a steady eye contact with her.

"And?"

"He made me an offer." Lucifer didn't know why it was so hard to say what he was about to, perhaps because he didn't really want to say it as he looked at her, but it had to be done, "If I join God, and strike you down, I can return to Heaven."

Reoan smiled smuggly, pulling her head down. "And what do you want from me, Morning Star?"

Lucifer snorted turning to look out at the ocean, "A little guidance would be nice." He turned back to her, frowning that he couldn't see her eyes anymore, "This has me stumped, and I thought it courteous to bring it to your attention."

Reoan brought her head up, slowly walking towards him. "God has offered something you have longed for, for so long. And you doubt it because of me, or because he has waited this long to offer you such a thing?"

"Both," He sighed, looking down at her, Azrael's saddened expression came into his mind again as he winced to push it away.

"The angel Azrael, a very old friend of mine delivered the news."

Reoan looked down at the darkened sand for a moment before bringing her head back up to look at the fallen. The warm sun nearly gone and it caused beautiful colors of red, orange and even some purple to dance upon them both. She searched his face for a moment before speaking again. "The only thing I could hope to offer you, Morning Star, is the throne when I win."

Lucifer grimmaced, clenching his fists at his side. A mighty wind blew up the beach from behind him as he felt like screaming. Not only did he not get a stable decision, but he was now even more pulled between the two. He wanted power, and he wanted to go back to heaven, but he couldn't have both.

Reoan watched the fallen angel, noticing the tension creasing across his body. She stared directly at him, a hidden hatred starting to burn within, as she spoke yet again. "I will promise you, that if you do decide to betray me to return to that promised place, I will tear your wings from your wretch body and slide a sword through your unholy body." Reoan growled at him, not meaning to, but her hatred for angels burning bright and no one to shelter it.

Lucifer scoffed at her, she wanted him to help her yet she was the one making death threats, "Tread lightly Guardian." He smiled wickedly at her, "You're not giving me much incentive here."

"Was I suppose to?" Reoan stepped in front of him, the water at her back. Her eyes filled with hatred.

"If you want alliances" He looked down at her, a fire of anger building in his own eyes, "I came to you because I didn't want to rush into a hasty decision."

He turned his back walking away from Reoan, "And now I know that it was a waste comming here."

"You would turn your back on me fallen? When it is my death that will bring you back to Heaven. Either way, you benefit from me, wouldn't it be wise to stay close to me and not so distant? And I never asked for alliances, Morning Star. You," she paused for a moment, allowing the water to rush up her legs, "told me never to have followers. So I do this on my own. If they," she threw her arm away from herself, "want to help me, fine. But stand in my way and I shall send you to whatever fate has in store for you!"

"So be it." he spoke, still facing away from the girl, "I shall see you in Hell soon Guardian," and with that Lucifer flew off. His dark, outlined form danced across the sky before Reoan turned from him and stared across the colorful horizon, aircrafts dancing about wildly in the sky.

Reoan smiled. "So you think setting both Heaven and Hell against me will stop me." Reoan started to laugh, a deep, in-your-chest, laughter. "Nothing will stop me, not even death for I will find my way back to Earth and I will have my revenge."

**************************

It was well after dark when Jacob decided to leave the motel in search of Reoan. The others were sleeping about the motel after a small dinner and some wine. Amber and the Grigori seemed oblivious to Reoan's absence. The ex-Guardian was powerful, but something just didn't seem right.

Jacob searched for nearly an hour, finally finding her in a back alley in one of the neighboring small villages. She was crouched over something and she was covered in blood. Jacob slowed his pace, but moving forward with no fear, also making sure his body didn't show any signs of being threatening.

"Reoan?" with the sound of his voice, she hissed at him and began to back away with every step he took until he stood over her victim and she up against a wall. He bent down and clarified that the victim had been human at one point.

"It attacked me! That crazy Taurus attacked me!" Reoan screamed from the wall, huddling close to it. "They wish to break me. Send me back to Hell. I will not let any of them win!"

"Reoan..." Jacob sobbed.

"I will have no more of this!" She screamed pulling up her dagger with both hands and shoving it straight into her chest. Jacob had no time to react and by the time he did, it was too late. The weopon was barried deep within her tender human flesh.

"NO!" He yelled, slamming her up against the wall. The noise they were creating started a chain reaction of lights being turned on and villagers starting to wander out into the nearby streets.

Jacob looked about before bringing his attention back to Reoan. "We need to go, they'll be finding us soon." He grabbed a hold of her arms and began to pull her away from the wall.

She pushed him away, bellowing: "Let them come! I will have all their heads if they dare to stand in my way!"

"Reoan, you don't have the strength too. You've only been on this plane for such a short time. Your mind and body aren't ready yet."

There was a silence between the both of them and with no signs what-so-ever, Reoan grabbed a hold of Jacob's throat with one hand, spun him around, and slammed him into the wall. A large snap sounded as the wall gave way to Jacob's body. The Guardian let out a groan as his body began to squirm about.

"I could kill you, Guardian. Send you to Purgatory to wait for the outcome of this life." Reoan growled at him.

"Do it!" Jacob screamed, Reoan instinctively pressing harder against him. "If you..." Jacob gasped. "If you really...want me dead...then do it!"

Reoan searched his face, a flood of images and emotions rushing over her whole being before she went black. The first image to appear before her was Lucifer's back and it seemed to stay there, that long, cold silence. The breeze swipping over them both as he began to walk away from her. She felt her body drop as reality came back to her.

Jacob fell to his knees before her, coughing and choking for fresh air. The sounds of people were nearing them both and Jacob was the first to speak.

"We need to go." He looked up at Reoan, meeting her endless dark eyes. She said nothing as she stared back, but nodded in agreement.

Raven glared at Rubedo in a sideways glance. He was making people afraid, but most of all suspicious. Raven was an excellent undercover agent and could blend in anywhere, but Rubedo stuck out like a sore thumb. She growled at him.

" You're so impossible Rubedo...." she sighed, tried of being frustrated with him. Maybe this shopping trip would be payback for all her frustration at him. He does seem uneasy being out in public.

People kept backing away from them. All Raven could do was shake her head. They walked into 'Roger David'.
" Go nuts...." Raven said, looking at him a little crossly, her arms folded in front of her chest. Rubedo growled under his breath as he walked around, looking at the clothes. An assistant come up to him.
" May I help you sir?" she asked politely.
" No thank you," he said rather harshly. Raven could of ripped off his head. The storm outside grew more intense.

After an hour, Raven carried out a few bags of clothes for Rubedo. She wasn't very impressed being his bellhop. Rubedo seemed to be liking the fact that she was getting infuriated with him yet again. They were like cat and dog.

" So what now detective?" This saying seemed to be now permanently in Rubedo's vocabulary. Raven growled. She didn't know how or why she was putting up with him. Usually she would have kicked them to Shanghai and back.
" I need to get some casual clothes. Lucky you, you get to come shopping with me."

Raven could swear she saw Rubedo's face fall, but when she looked it was emotionless as always.
" Follow me dear," she said sarcastically. Rubedo growled again. He hated her sarcasm, but if he was going to stay with her, he was going to have to get used to it. Rubedo followed her to a female clothing shop. He waited outside while Raven took half an hour to choose some clothes. She came out with more bags.

" You're lucky I'm not like most females. Otherwise I'd be dragging you all around the mall to every shop. Be thankful," she said a little spitefully. Walking back to the subway, Raven and Rubedo waited in silence for the train.

God? Is that you?

OEINNGFEHJNMIWJSOCIJHOOD!

You are not God! Who are you!?

"K! You moron!"

What?

"Wake up, Stupid! You promised me!"

Oh, yeah. Years ago..

"Wake up, now. You have to. People depend on you. I depend on you."

==========================

"JAMIE! I WILL PROTECT YOU!!!" Kadar had practically jumped out of bed. Tabris, however, was not startled, but continued to look at him. Kadar sat down onto the bed, finally realizing where he was.

"Sleep well?"

Kadar didn't answer, but remained slouched over. A sad look on his face, half covered by his platinum hair. "If you won't answer, then I guess I will leave you, love. Besides, you wanted to show the world the real Kadar." Still no reaction. "Or would that be the real Eloc?" Kadar hadn't moved an inch. 'I guess it was just coincidence,' Tabris thought.

"Who is Jamie?"

As if it was instantaneous, Kadar turned her way. His face remained unchanged, but his eyes showed the most gruesome of hatred Tabris had ever seen. It held more malice then anything she had ever come across before. However, Tabris kept her composure and remained still in her chair. 'Just like him! He must really love this Jamie!' Kadar turned away and grabbed for his bag.

Tabris stood up and headed towards the window. Kadar reached into one of the pockets and pulled out his blue suit, boots, and red vest. He could hear the ringing sound that he created. According to its strength, he was out for precisely twenty-eight hours. "I will be leaving for the next Zodiac," Kadar said to Tabris, who seemed to be giving his wardrobe a queery look. "This is my battle-wear."

"Don't worry. The other two went to Greece already. They will find the Zodiac by time you catch up."

"Nope. Didn't plan that."

"What are you talking about? You need to find the Zodiacs in order! That is the only way!"

Kadar turned her way and gave her a smile. "I need to make a few errands first. And by the time I get to where Zodiac Virgo is, Ima and Kariz would have already found Zodiac Gemini. The others will catch up when we all look for Zodiac Pisces at once. It will take about five days tops and we will have another week before the threat of nuclear war begins again."

"Foolish tactic, but I like the sound of it. However, I want to know what kind of errands you will be making in the mean time."

"Heh. What is it to you?" Kadar taunted. Tabris was getting annoyed with him. "All you said was that you were here to make sure my ass won't be handed to me, right?" Tabris took a big puff of her cigarette. "Fine!"

Kadar looked around, scoping his surroundings for the first time. "Ah. Cherry House," was all he said. Tabris was surprised that he knew exactly where he was. She was also infuriated. "Where is it?" Kadar asked as he searched the walls for something, feeling every inch. "It's a good thing that you decided to take me here after the stunt I pulled earlier. I was counting on how you would utilize your resources."

With blinding speed, Tabris moved across the room and grabbed Kadar's thoat and slammed him into the wall with force. It had completely caught him off gaurd. He was hopeless from her surprise attack and he knew that he made a mistake.

However..

Kadar pounded on the wall with his left fist and a hidden compartment revealaed itself. He reached in, struggling to breath, and pulled out a sword. Tabris recognized it easily. It was a sword that could not be forgotten. Its golden hilt and its silver edges were as fine as they were back then. And it was pointed directly at her throat. Kadar managed to speak a few words in his struggle.

"Now we are even."

Tabris released her grip and Kadar slumped to the ground gasping for air. Tabris turned around and looked at her trembling hand. She had used force against a human. A human that she was sent to protect.

"I understand your emotion, heavenly one." She turned around and stared at him. He was standing as if he was superior and his voice had changed. Changed back to what it was so long ago. He was indeed Eloc Freidon reincarnated.

"You are just like him!" Tabris snapped.

"I AM NOTHING LIKE HIM!" Kadar lowered his head and glared back with a smile. His posture was the same, but his eyes showed a different side altogether. "I told you. I will show you the real Kadar Romalac and I will keep to that promise. I may be him reincarnated, but I am still me. I will not be judged by his shadow." His sword slid home into a sheath that he had just strapped to his waste. It rang, unlike the constant tone she had heard for days, but with the vigor of its might.

"We will see."

O.O.C.: Don't get mad at me, Delta. :animeswea Hope you guys liked my post! I did this so that we can pick up the pace and to show another side of Kadar (He seems to be filled with angst, but his personality will come together soon). I will PM you, Opal, so we could discuss how we meet! Please tell me if you don't like this post, Demonchild.

OCC: Time for a little action...this is a war isn't it;)

Underneathe the streets of Athens...Rubedo and Raven awaited for their train in the subway to arrive, unaware of the news brewing around the city.

***On a local news station***

>>>

This is Raquel Mario, bringing you the lastest update on the assassinations that took place just the other day. The supposed assassin was captured and detained by the police...however; yesturday while the execution process was underway...a power outage enabled the killer to escape, and now is nowhere to be found.

As of this moment, delgates of North Korea have declared war upon all of Greece. Those who have served under those past politicians are hungering for blood...and they will not accept a simple escape of such a killer. They believe that the Greek government, and the police were neglegent; and are convinced that they had something to do with these murders.

We've just recieved word that Russia and the United States have declared war upon one another...as well as with North Korea. Alliances are being formed...old ties reformed...ladies and gentlemen....it's begun. No nuclear weapons have been launched yet is about the only good news that I have for you all at the moment.

We don't know when the attack will occure ladies and gentlemen...but we do advice that everyone stay indoor; locking all doors and windows. Our government feels that they will not attack civilians...but are indeed targetting two of our major cities for invasion...Athens, and Sparta. God bless everyone...especially for those in the cities I just mentioned.

>>>

Suddenly, the same broadcast was heard over the speakers of the subway track. Raven shot up from her seat as everyone in the subway began to panic; cramming into all of the subway cars, as well as many others heading for the surface. Screams could be heard echoing off the concrete walls as children began to cry as their parents lifted them into their arms.

"Are they crazy...we had nothing to do with it!" Raven screamed...her fists clinched together...but a flow of worry spread across her face at the realization of what was going on.

Rubedo simply sat on the stone bench...his expression emotionless as usual...his thoughts were someplace else. So...they've come for me....again...

"How can you remain calm in a time like this Rubedo...we need to find those Zodiac as quickly as possible...." but before she realized what Rubedo was doing...he stood to his feet and hit the back of her skull with his fist, causing her to go unconcious.

Lifting her into his arms, he carried her towards one of the subway cars, pushing through the crowd of people and placed her in one of the unoccupied chairs. Leaving the car, Rubedo made his way up the staircase to the surface...his sight coming to glimpse with what was happening.

Planes could be heard overhead as complete chaos spread throughout the streets. Huge masses of people began running downt he street...completely abandoning their cars, fleeing the traffic on foot. Fires began to surface as cars hit people, people pushing past others...it was sad...and yet....beautiful. The storm grew worse as the cloud hid the view of the planes above.

They'll probably start outside the city walls and push their way in...forcing us into a corner... Rubedo's senses and thoughts were firmly tuned...this being his true element...that of battle and chaos. As he walked down the sidewalk of the street...an old man lay crippled on the ground. His body was mangled and torn do to the masses footsteps pressing up against him when they passed not a few moments ago.

The old man thought he was looking at his doom as Rubedo appeared before him....at first he shivered in fear, knowing the end was coming when. But gently...Rubedo placed a hand on the mans chest...and in a glimmer of light...the mans body was restored. "Now get out of here..." Rubedo said in a tensed toned. Without a second thought...the man was gone....followed by a deep laughter in back of Rubedo...

*laughter*..."Amazing...even in a crisis which you started..you still try to abide by your precious code."

"....Ezeqeel.....the strength of God." replied Rubedo as he turned on his heel to face the angel (appearance ) The angel was huge, standing at about 6'5''...his muscles were thick...its very presence demanded respect and obediance.

"Rubedo..." the angels laughter quickly fading...satisfied to see the Guardian acknowledge him.

"What the hell took you so long?" as the Guardian took off his hat and sunglasses, swinging his hair around to loosen it up from its confinement. The wind was picking up...Raven's thunderstorm wasn't letting up.

"Much better Rubedo...there is no need to conceil yourself among these humans...not any more." Ezeqeel was already outstretching his wings, the large broadsword at his side.

Rubedo already knew where this was going...it felt like a tape recording...Things really do never change...

"What to do with you Guardian..." the angel began tapping his foot on the ground as civilians of the city began to run past them, taking some confused glances towards them. "I could kill that Zodiac with you...she seems to have a thing for you..."

"Do what you like Ezeqeel...this isn't the first time this has happened. If it's your will to send me back to the depths of hell till I'm reborn again then so be it..." a slight smirk came across Rubedo's face as he slowly approached the angel. "Besides...I'm sure you and the rest of Heaven need these Zodiac to bring forth the balance..."

"True...you've seen right through my bluff Guardian...you certainly are a cold one."

My vow has been fullfilled Raven, my debt repaid... Rubedo began to undress himself...taking off his trench coat and throwing it off to the side, he began to undue the straps of his arm holisters...

"I'm sure I won't be using these..." tossing them to the side as he took off his black t-shirt.

Ezeqeel was quite pleased as he began cracking his fingers..."you've betrayed God, and helped put in motion what could possibly be the end times. Becoming in league with Reoan...I'm to have your head and send you into purgatory till God sets things back to normal.

"I haven't turned my loyalties to Reoan, Ezeqeel...if I had...I would be hunting these Zodiac, not protecting them. And you would be the hunted...not I. But so be it...do what God has commanded to you...and let us see where this goes."

OCC: Don't interrupt this fight just yet...Ozy, Astdis and Reiku...this would probably be a good time to meet.

?True, but still, we should watch our backs.?

"You got that right...I didn't come all the way to Greece to get offed by some petty assassin...hey, here's the subway..." The stairs were well lit, nothing to get nervous about....but something...something was beginning to tug on the back of her mind, a tiny nagging, trying-to-get-your-attention feeling. She glanced at Kariz.

"You feel that?" Kariz nodded.

"I don't quite like this..." They followed the typical stream of people, getting in line for the train to the shopping district. The train was just arriving when the speakers crackled on.

This is Raquel Mario, bringing you the lastest update on the assassinations that took place just the other day. The supposed assassin was captured and detained by the police...however; yesturday while the execution process was underway...a power outage enabled the killer to escape, and now is nowhere to be found.

"Isn't that already old news?" Most of the people in the line didn't pay any attention to the speakers. Ima shrugged.

"Maybe they're having a slow news day."

As of this moment, delgates of North Korea have declared war upon all of Greece. Those who have served under those past politicians are hungering for blood...and they will not accept a simple escape of such a killer. They believe that the Greek government, and the police were neglegent; and are convinced that they had something to do with these murders.

"That seems kinda silly...people can't predict power failures..."

"It's governement, they'll believe anything."

"True..."

We've just recieved word that Russia and the United States have declared war upon one another...as well as with North Korea. Alliances are being formed...old ties reformed...ladies and gentlemen....it's begun. No nuclear weapons have been launched yet is about the only good news that I have for you all at the moment.

Ima and Kariz exchanged a glance.

"It's starting..." Ima tried not to look ill...she sure as heck felt it...

"Yeah, but...so soon?" Something rumbeled in the distance. It could have been thunder...it could've been something else....

Ima shook her head.

"Guess we'd better..." she trailed off as she took in the sight of the panicked mob heading up the tunnel. "...forget that, we've got to get out of the way!"

A clear head, quick reflexes, and a few well placed elbows kept either from being knocked to the ground before clearing the crowd. They ducked into an alcove, panting.

"That was close..." She glanced at the sign on the door. "Oh, geez..."

"What?"

"If anybody had told me three days ago that I'd be playing a role in possibly preventing the end of the world, and that in order to survive to do so I'd be hiding in the men's bathroom..." She began giggling almost hysterically. Kariz shook her by the arm.

"Ima, stop. You can't have an emotional breakdown at a time like this!" What better time to have it? She kept her retort to herslef as Kariz peeked out the door.

"No one's out there. Come on." Ima followed, trying to keep from...laughing or crying, she couldn't tell which, anymore. The subway platform was deserted, debris littering the floor from wall to wall. The two broke into a run, heading for the exit, when Ima felt it again. That tugging...

"You feel it this time?"

"Yeah...this way?" Ima turned and headed for one of the deserted cars. The feeling grew stronger as she jerked open the door. A woman with silvery-grey, shortish hair lay unconcious in one of the seats. The feeling stopped.

"I guess she must be the one we're looking for..."

O.C.C.: Sorry it took so long to edit this.

'Not even a week and I'm already back,' Kadar thought to himself as he gazed down into the valley, readjusting the sword and sheath on his hip.

The war was happening, but this town was the first to suffer. The molten crater that was once his apartment building, the random lots of land that had suddenly combusted during the grigori's pursuit. Kadar left in too much of a hurry before he could even tell how its civilians reacted to the attack.

Kadar had made quick pace to get here and had good excercise in the process. He got there on foot the entire way to avoid detection from the government. 'It's been a while since I've done anything like this.'

It was almost dawn and Kadar made steady pace to get through the streets before anyone would notice him. Besides, a guy wearing a blue jumper, red jacket, and a sword does not get taken lightly here.

He looked around at the buildings looking for any violent indications. 'No signs of any riots or anything of the sort! I guess we took it pretty well, with the threat of WW3.' He decided to go through the park to get to Paul's place quicker. However, there were already a group of people already in the park. It was too late to go unnoticed.

One of them, a woman wearing some kind of hooded robe, was the first to notice. She pointed at him and the others soon knew of his pressence. Kadar couldn't care less if he was spotted anymore, so he continued onto the parkway path. The group began to approach him as he made his way. They were all wearing robes.

"Hold it!" the woman ordered. Kadar stopped moving and layed his hand on the hilt of the blade. "What is it?" he answered. The group stopped short and took the sight of him in carefully. The tension had grown as they all stood in silence.

The woman stepped foward. "You aren't here to make trouble, are you? You aren't one of those monsters from outside of town?" Kadar noticed that they were all unsettled by the sight of his weapon. He put his hand to the side and turned toward them. The group jumped back at once, not sure of what to make of his actions. The woman remained her ground and began to shake. She was crying.

"Chris, is that you?" she sobbed as she took off her hood. "Mother!" The woman ran to him and embraced him in her arms. "Talecia!" one of the others shouted. "Chris is dead! That is an imposter in disguise! Quick, before he kills you!"

"No he isn't! He is my son and a mother can always tell!" She squeezed even tighter as tears of joy began to flow. The others grew calm when they realized she was right. But something wasn't right. "We thought that you died in your apartment," Talecia cried.

=====================

Kadar and the group had arrived at Talecia's house. They explained to eachother what has been going on.

"So Paul and the others told you what has been going on?" Kadar asked.

"Yes. We didn't believe them at first, of course, but when the demons attacked we quickly changed our minds," one of the men explained. Kadar took of his sheath, stood it up against the easy chair, and sat down. He was exhausted from the constant running.

Talecia had came back from the kitchen with a glass of lemonade and handed it to Kadar. "Here you go, honey. Oh, yeah. You don't like being called that, don't you? Forget it then." Kadar made a confused look on his face as she went back into the kitchen. When the door closed, one of the woman began to address to him.

"Your mother has been hysterical since your death," she spoke. It was in an irritated tone. "She denied your passing and avoided any sympothy from anyone. But when she finally accepted it, you had to come along as if everything was fine." The woman was standing up now and found her way to where Kadar was and smacked him. She went to a corner and huffed some words in her breath.

The man from before made eye contact with Kadar. "I knew good and well it was you. It just so happens that it is better for Talecia that you would have died than to have come back so suddenly." It was obvious what was going on here. He wasn't wanted.

Kadar stood up and headed for the kitchen door. He could hear his mother crying through it and finally knew that it was a mistake to have followed them here. He turned away and grabbed his sword as he opened the front door. "Where are you going, Chris?" His mother was standing in the kitchen doorway, holding lunch. "You just got here." She had a smile on her face. However, it seemed a little too unreal.

"I am not Chris..He passed away a long time ago." Talecia's expression remained unchanged, except a single tear in her eye. "I, Kadar Romalac, have come to give my condolences. I am sorry for your loss, Miss Talecia." He made a bow and closed the door behind them.

Just as he made his way to the picket fence, the front door opened again and Talecia dashed toward him, holding a sack lunch. She stopped in front of the stranger and handed it to him. "You forgot your lunch, Mr. Romalac," she said as she attempted to hold back her sorrow. Kadar stood without any reaction what-so-ever. But the emotion was tearing him apart.

"How could it be called a lunch if it is the morning?"

Mother and son embraced eachother for the last time as Kadar let go of his held back tears.

==========================

"It's been a long time Kadar," Paul said, who was waiting for Kadar the entire time. "Sure has." They entered the house together. The others were waiting for him, too.

Daemond was the first to speak. "So where are the others?"

"The others?"

"The Zodiac, Kadar." Everyone else was tense. These were trying times for the kind of people they were."We are still looking for the others. We split up to save time." Kadar told them what happened.

"So that was you? No wonder I can't get rid of that ringing!" Danny complained as he rubbed one of his ears. "So when do we leave?"

"I leave tomorrow. By myself," Kadar announced.

Paul stood up. "That's right! Everyone stays! We need to protect this valley until all the Zodiac have found eachother!" Kadar was at ease to have at least one of them agree. "But one of us can go," Paul said in a confident manner. A smile spread across his face. "We have enough people to protect this place, so it is possible."

"I'll go." Daemond stepped forth as everyone became shocked. "That's surprising! Daemond is taking the innitiative?!" Danny scoffed. Daemond ignored the comment and stood before Kadar.

"I'll be ready when you are."

Azrael waited. He waited as war began to creep across the world. The humans were threatening to ruin everytrhing, destroy everything that had been given them. And Reoan was to blame.

"Curse you Reoan..." the angel muttered. The wait was nerve-wracking. What would Lucifer's response be? Would he accept? Or would Azrael be forced to fight his old friend, his old comrade. He remebered when Lucifer had rebelled, and how it had all ended.

Lucifer stood, bound in chains before a group of Angels, Azrael among them. He had been comdemned to Hell, cast down to the pit. These Angels were here to ensure that Lucifer reached that place. Lucifer spat at them.

"Fools! Serving an archaic god! You should join me! We can win!"

Silent tears formed in Azrael's eyes as he watched four of the Angels moved forward to take Lucifer to the pit.

"Why?" he whispered. "Why?"

The angel was snapped out of his reverie as he heard the faint swish of wings. It seemed Lucifer was returning. Hopefully with a descision. One that Azrael dreaded to hear.

11:31 stared back at Yasuo as he looked around the room for a path around this large creature. There was little light, coming in from the hallway after his door had been left open by this beast.

"There's no escape." Bellowed the intruder. Yasuo barely understood the creature's quickly spoken english. But he did not care, he looked around frantically dressed in little more than his leather pants that he had fallen asleep in an hour before this event, his choker still around his neck. The creature took a step forward, and Yasuo backed up ever so slightly. Unfortunately that put him up against the wall. A fist had come at Yasuo no sooner than he had hit the wall, little time to react. Moving to his right, he had dodged the blow, and was prepared to strike back. A palm strike to his attacker's chin with his right hand, and a reverse punch to his solar plexis was landed and his opponent took a step back, phased for the split second needed for Yasuo to take a running start for the door. Nope, not fast enough, the monster returned the favor with a back handed fist to Yasuo's right cheek. A strong blow throwing Yasuo against the wall and onto his bed with a sickening thud.

The sound must have woken his curious sister, because he could hear her footsteps in the hallway. The intruder turned to look at her; Yasuo could see the sick smile on his face. His sister was meerly twelve, she did not deserve to die, a straight A's student and prosperous young girl. He wouldn't stand for her death. It was that instant that something strange brewed inside of Yasuo. Something he had never felt before. His organs churned, and felt as though they were shifting in his gut. It felt almost natural, and painless. His eyes changed their vision, the night became clearer and he could see his assailant perfectly. The creature was hideous, and Yasuo would remember a face like that. He definitely did not know the man... thing...

As the sensation subsided, Yasuo could feel he had changed somehow. He could not pinpoint it until he tried to stand. He now walked on all fours, and his feet felt smaller, lighter... with claws... Works for me, he thought to himself, and lunged at the creature. It turned to look at Yasuo before recieving a black paw landing upon it's left cheek, tearing flesh as momentum took it's course. Completely caught off gaurd the creature stumbled into a wall, Yasuo had lept too far and hit his door frame, yet tried to keep up his pace running into the hallway.

"AAH!!" His sister's high pitched scream rang in his ears as she turned to run away from the intruder... or perhaps she was running from Yasuo... Whatever she was running from it was the right idea, but she was too slow. The natural thing for Yasuo to do seemed to be to pick her up with his mouth, so he did. Clutching the back of her pajama shirt Yasuo carried her down the hall. Glancing out of the corner of his eyes he saw his mother and step-father's room. He smelt the blood eminating from the room...

Nothing he could do now, he carried his sister out the open front door, lucky for him no longer having hands and all. Still unaware of what he was now Yasuo kept up his pace with his little sister still hanging from his mouth. She screamed and squirmed, but he held on until he dove in between some buildings. He put her down and watched her crawl away. But, it's me! Yasuo thought. As he longed to see what he had become, Yasuo lept up onto a window ledge and peered at the figure in the glass. Whiskers, black fur, and yellow cat eyes... A panther face stared back at him. Longing to be human again brought back the sensation. His eyes transformed before him, and the whiskers turned into the five o' clock shadow he had left before bed. His fur had become his pale skin again and he finally recognized his own reflection.

"Yasuo?!" His sister whispered loudly, no longer crawling away. She stood, not caring to brush herself off. There were dried tears on her face, and she sniffled as she spoke again in Japanese, "Yasuo, what's going on?"

"I-I don't know..." He couldn't control the lone tear that streamed down his cheek. Was it for his mother and step-father? His sister? He did not know, but didn't hold it back. Instead wiping from his face violently, turning his attention towards his little sister.

"Yasuo, who was that? And, how- how did you do that?" She asked again.

"I don't know..." There was a long silence, but with the death of his gaurdians, and the probable pursuit of his attacker he knew that he needed to hide his sister. "Mitsu, do you remember your aunt Sachi, right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna take you there and we're gonna tell her about the ugly guy and all. But we're not going to tell her about me being a cat or anything, ok?"

"But what about mom and dad?" The question stung in his chest. He swallowed hard before answering, keeping his emotions in check.

"They'll be ok, but we need to get to aunt Sachi's to be safe, ok?" No need to tell her the truth yet. Couldn't risk the scene she would make.

"Ok..."

Yasuo reached for his sister's hand. She was reluctant to grab it at first, but she reluctantly took hold and the two looked down the street before stepping out. Once the coast was clear, brother and sister ran hand in hand the two kilometers to their aunt's house.

Lucifer landed lightly on his feet, quietly folding his wings behind him as he looked upon Azrael. There seemed to be much saddness, such dread in his face. An expression that he had seen before a long time ago.

"Azrael." Lucifer fanned his pristine wings to slow down as he neared the angel at the holy gates. He had been looking for the angel, slightly worried that he was so far from the throne of God, "where have you been?"

The angel didn't give him an answer as he looked up from his feet, his eyes filled with sadness. He looked as if he had been crying, and this didn't make Lucifer very happy. As he neared Azrael he spread his arms and took in the crying angel, cradling him softly.

"Dear, dear Azrael," He cooed, holding the crying angel in his arms, "Why is it that you weep?"

"I've heard," He choked, burrying his face in Lucifer's chest, "I've heard of your attack against God."

"This would make you weep?" Lucifer sounded a bit confused, "I thought you would be happy Azrael, soon we wont be his lowly servants. We will rule."

Azrael looked up into Lucifer's eyes, the eyes once filled with joy and love were growing dark with hate and bitterness. His Lucifer was gone.

"Lucifer," Azrael pulled away, turning his back with a slight shudder, "You know God will win." He turned back, a bit more stern now, "And if you don't stop he'll cast you down and shun you!"

"Let him try." Lucifer hissed, his eyes growing narrow, "I thought at least you would understand Azrael."

And with that he took off, leaving his good friend behind.

He shook his head with a sigh, why was he thinking of that day now of all times? He smirked slightly, striding towards Azrael and taking him in his arms.

"Azrael," He spoke, holing the Angel tight, "I will accept God's offer."

Camilla sat one her end of the couch hugging a pillow, while Jane lay at her end. Both their eyes laid glued to the television set. The news had come on about the war.

"I can't believe this has happened." Jane huffed.

Camilla tugged at her ear again. 'Yeah I know. Good thing we haven't been attacked directly."

"Yeah I know. Oh my god, Cammie. Do you think we might have to go?" Jane face was filled with frieght.

"No don't worry." She huggd her friend. At least I hope we won't. She smoothed down her friends drown hair and made soothing sounds.

Later that day:

"Cammie someone is at the door for you." Jane yelled across the apartment.

Camilla was in her small garden room watering plants. Her birds chirpped and jumped around there cages. Looking up from her plant, "Just send them on back who ever it is Jane.' She went back to her daily routine.

"Hey there good looking." Camilla almost dropped the watering can at the sound of his voice. He was most of the most annoying men she had ever met. "I was waiting for you at the out place. i got worried when you where late."

"Oh I guess I must have forgotten." She shrugged. She set the can downand started to feed her birds.

"So you ready to go?" He seed a bit aggravted that she forgot about him. She shrugged.

"I guess in a few minutes." She pushed him out of the room and closed the door behind them. She made a quick glance in the mirror to make sure shelooked okay. She didn't feel like getting all dressed up. She was wearing a pair of tight jeans and a pink t-shirt. "Jane I am going out. Don't wait up."

"'Kay have fun." She called out from in the bathroom.

She graabed her jacket off the coat hook and put it on. SHe hardly ever carried a pursse with her because it got in the way. "okay lets go."

"So where do you want to go?" He took Camilla by the hand.

"I don't care where ever." She shrugged and pulled her hand away.

"I don't understand you. Why do you pull away when we go out." He grabbed camilla by the arm.

'We have only gone out three times. it's not like it's anything special." She said with a calm tone, but stern.

Raven's eyes widened as she saw Rubedo with his back to her. The rain poured down, the sky as grey and cold as stone. Ima and Kariz looked at Raven who was staring at the man Rubedo was facing.

" Is he Rubedo Raven?" Kariz asked.
" Yeah....." Raven trailed off.

What was he doing with this man? He had taken his coat off, that meant he was going to fight, and fight seriously.

The man facing Rubedo looked somewhat....angelic. His facial features were well sculpted and perfect. And Raven could have sworn she saw angel wings at his back. She ran over through the rain over to Rubedo, leaving Ima and Kariz clueless on what was happening.

" Rubedo.....what's going on?" she asked, a definite note of concern in her voice.
" Raven.....go away.....this isn't your fight.....this is between me and Ezequeel...." Rubedo said emotionless. Ima and Kariz stood under an eve, watching the three in the rain.

Ezequeel.......Raven had heard that name somewhere. Then it suddenly struck her.

" Ezequeel......the strength of God...." Raven said softly, looking at the water surrounding her feet.
" So you know....." Rubedo said, " Your skills are further progressed than I thought."
" I heard his name, reminded me of things...."
" Now go Raven.....before things get too violent for you..."
" No. I'm not going."
" Go Raven. Now."

The tone of voice Rubedo growled at Raven with scared her. It wasn't emotionless for one thing. It was dark and full of wrath. She took a step back before reaffirming herself and stood, glaring at Rubedo who was ignoring her gaze and looking at Ezequeel. She felt her temper get the better of her and she went to slap him across the face but he caught her hand firmly.

" Raven.....go....now...."
" No."
" I said GO DAMMIT!" He punched her in the stomach. The breath was knocked out of her chest as she flew across the street.
" RAVEN!" Ima yelled and the two ran over to her. They went to help her up but she waved their hands away. Struggling to get up, Raven stood doubled-over, her now neon yellow eyes firmly fixed on Rubedo with a glare of hatred. She spat onto the ground. Blood predominately came out.

" Are you all right Raven?" Kariz asked.
" Yeah....just fine..." Raven breathed. Ima and Kariz could sense a definite note of hatred in her voice. " Leave him....if he doesn't want any help.....then let the bastard have no help....."

Ima and Kariz hooked their arms around Raven's shoulders and they started off in the direction of Raven's apartment.

An hour later...

Raven, Ima and Kariz had walked into Raven's apartment and set her down in a couch seat. They tried to tend to her wounds, but she stubbornly refused.

" Raven....." Kariz said firmly.
" I have no external injuries.....just internal....." Raven growled, looking out of the clear glass doors around her apartment. Her neon yellow eyes made the lightning jump from cloud to cloud, and sometimes, hit the buildings near Rubedo and Ezequeel with explosive force.

"Now why did you have to go and hurt that poor girl..." responded Ezeqeel in a mocking tone. The three Zodiacs had just left their sights when the angel finally chose to speak.

Rubedo turned his attention back towards the angel who was now walking towards him, his pace quickening with each passing moment. The lightening began to strike above their heads, crashing down on the nearby rooftops as the storm continued (reminds me of Matrix Revolution setting at end:))

Suddenly Ezeqeel burst towards Rubedo in a charge, his body slightly above the ground as his wings propelled him forward. The angels speed was incredible, but Rubedo was faster. Purposefully letting his feet come out from underneathe him, Rubedo back became parellel with the ground as he fell backwards, nearly avoiding Ezeqeels punch. Shoving his right palm straight at the pavement, thrusting his body upwards towards the angel, Rubedo sent a left foot straight into Ezeqeels sternum, sending him skywards as he tried to regain control of his flight.

Quickly flipping onto his feet, Rubedo squated slightly and shot himself upwards...within an instant Rubedo was standing on top of a neighboring rooftop; seeing Ezeqeel approaching him in his motion. Jumping off the building, he clutched his two hands together and swung at the angel, catching Ezeqeel in the upper jaw which sent him back towards the ground.

Drifting slowly back towards the ground, Rubedo saw the angel catch himself on his feet as he hit the ground. Flapping his great wings, the angel charged Rubedo once again....airborn, Rubedo couldn't move. Clutching Rubedo's skull with one hand, Ezeqeel swung him around like a rag doll. Flying back towards the streets below, the angel threw Rubedo straight into the pavenment, causing a slight indentation in the ground.

Folding his wings behind him, Ezeqeel stood with his arms crossed as he watched the Guardian rise to his feet, whipping a trickle of blood dripping from his lip.

"Not bad Rubedo...it's the first time someone has shown me my own blood...this is better than I expected it to be."

Rubedo raised himself to his feet...the pain of the angels blows quickly subsiding. Ezeqeel's strength was incredible, it left even Rubedo's body crippled for a moment. A few more attacks like that an he was finished...

Catching Ezeqeel off guard, Rubedo instantly appeared before him, thrusting a series of uppercuts into the angels stomach. Ezeqeel raised both of his arms and tried to crash down on Rubedo. He swifly moved to the side, dodging the attack and jumped into the air, taking hold of both of the angels wings Rubedo sent one knee after the other into the back of Ezeqeels head.

The angel turning around quickly to shake him off...Rubedo left go, with the angel facing him now, and performed a roundhouse kick which sent Ezeqeel into the wall of a building. The entire stucture seemed to shake by the impact as Rubedo persued...crossing both of his arms over his face, he attempted to press the angel further into the structure.

Gaining his composure...Ezeqeel punched straight through the guard, connecting with Rubedo's face as he was sent flying into a wall on the opposite side of the street.

"This is how it's done!" Ezeqeel exclaimed as he rammed into Rubedo's body, the two of them body going through the entire buildings contents, crushing Rubedo's back against everything. Coming out of the other side...the building collapsed on the street behind them as the angel threw Rubedo up against a Taxi car, him falling on all fours.

The battle continued for quite some time...nearly two hours. Rubedo's speed against Ezeqeel's strength...whenever Rubedo gained an upper-hand, blow after blow the angel weakened. But with one simple attack, Rubedo's spirit and momentum would be crushed with a single hit, making the battle balanced once again.

Lifting a car up above his head, Ezeqeel threw it at Rubedo with ease which was easily dodged...running down the street towards the Guardian, the angel simply grabbed each passing car with one hand and tossed it at Rubedo...a barrage of cars. Evading as best he could, Rubedo was finally hit by one mid-air once again as his body was sent sliding across the pavement....Rubedo lay motionless.

"Do you yield yet Guardian!" Ezeqeel was becoming rather annoyed...as much as Rubedo had taken...he never cried out...he never falted...showing absolutely nothing. No satsifaction could have been gained in something that did not feel.

"Damn you Rubedo..." the massive giant stand above him, holding the handle of his broadsword..."no wonder Lucifer disliked you so...even that pathetic Zodiac....you're nothing whatsoever...a shell completely empty of anything. Cry out you!"

Ezeqeel raised his sword high and jabbed it down towards Rubedo's heart. He quickly rolled to the side...it slightly grazing his side as the blade went straight into the ground. Unsheathing his two blades at his sides, Rubedo jumped over Ezeqeel; as he came down, he slashed the angels wings completely off. The angel roared in agony as he let go of his sword and swung full force, catching Rubedo in the face with his forearms.

Falling to one knee...Ezeqeel's eyes were closed tightly as blood poured from his back...feeling the sense of mortality spread across his entire being. "Damn you Rubedo!" The angel quickly got to his feet and charged again...leaving the sword behind.

In a flash of light, a lightning bolt struck right in front of Ezeqeel, blinding him for a moment as Rubedo slowly rose to his feet. He was weak, only being able to carry one scimitar...staring down his prey...a certain flame seemed to be burning inside Rubedo chest as he started to gain momentum in his run at Ezeqeel.

"I will not go back to that place.....ever!" cried out Rubedo as Ezeqeel could see his figure flying towards him. Lunging the blade through Ezeqeel's throat, the giant slowly fell to its knees before the Guardian as he looked into Rubedo's golden eyes.

"Who do you serve........." the form angels voice was almost gargling as he choked on his own blood...

"I will always serve God...however I will not be a simple puppet any longer...you've wrongly accused me and my kind once before...I won't allow it again..." and with that, Rubedo spun around, decapitating Ezeqeel as he felt lip to the ground.

Falling on all fours again, Rubedo gasped for air as he the pain in his chest intensified...the burning was subsiding...

Quickly looking up at the surrounding rooftops, Rubedo searched for the one who helped him..........certainly Raven's electric abilities created the lightening...but someone must have directed it themselves....but who was it.

Pressing his palm upon his chest...trying to hold down the pounding of his heart...Rubedo walked aimlessly away, carrying only the two blades at his sides...Raven and the other Zodiac's were gone, Raven must have been upset with him...but he had to get her out of there. Again, he was alone...deserted in the flooding streets of Athens as he walked. To where...he didn't know...but he had to find the others once again.

"Figured I'd find you here." The sweet and richly accented voice was soothing to Reoan's ears. The violent screams had nearly numbed her sense of hearing and the Pit had become just about quiet to her.

"No where else to go." Reoan shrugged, looking down at what seemed to be the end of Hell. The black, bottomless ravine that lay before her stretched for miles on either side of her until it disappeared into the heavy red and black haze.

"Then what's the point in continusiouly escaping?" Lucifer walked up beside her, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Because I will get out of here, Morning Star! I will find my way back to Heaven and Earth and fulfill my revenge." Reoan's voice was strong though her body had begun to break. She could barely stand now, her bare skin covered in hideous scars and countless broken bones shoved their way through her tender human flesh.

"You'll just continue to end up here, Guardian." Lucifer said softly. "So what's the point?"

"The point," she turned to stare at him. "The point is that I will not allow Heaven, Hell, Earth, God or Fate stand in my way, Morning Star. I was wronged, and I will show this damned universe that when you wrong some one you have to pay the consquences for such actions."

"I see." Luicfer turned his head away from her and stared down into the blackness.

"Why do you always seek me out, Morning Star? What is there to gain from trying to find me every time I escape?" Reoan asked.

"Because its my job and I want to. You've made Hell intersting, Guardian, with your constant attempts to escape." He smiled at her in a playful manner.

Reoan tried desperately not to smile as she shook her head at him.

"What happened?"
"Bring her over to the bed."
"She's not breathing!"
"She's lost too much blood!"
"Reoan!"

The chaotic screams filled the two small motel rooms as Jacob rushed Reoan's nearly limp body towards the bed. He carefully laid her upon the neatly made bed, straightening her body and turning her head to the side so blood could rush out of it, trying desperately to free her air way. The massive dagger still lay deep within her tender flesh, blood pouring out from around it. David and Amber were chaotic with worry and fear as Ben was still hidden in the bathroom.

"We need to take her to the hospital!" Amber screamed, standing at the end of the bed staring down at the motionless ex-Guardian.

"We can't." Jacob said calmly as he ripped Reoan's shirt and coat from the dagger. The sight was nauseating, but removing the weapon would only cause more bleeding. "If we bring her to the hospital they'll ask to many questions and associate it with the murder."

"Murder?" Amber turned towards him.

"Reoan killed a Zodiac." Jacob didn't bother to look up at the young demoness as he continued to try and stop the bleeding. Reoan's breathing had stopped; her lungs were filling with blood.

David stood, towering over all of them, silent as he stared at the young woman on the bed. She looked to be about eighteen or so, her fair skin was made to look even lighter because of her black hair and dark eyes. She was gorgeous, but yet terribly ugly all at once. Nothing particular stood out about her physical features and she seemed more human than some creature spat out of Hell. A pale colored bra, something she had just recently started wearing, hid her breast but not the scars that seemed to cover her body. A reminder, the Grigori half-breed thought to himself, of what she had done and been through.

While the small mixed group of hellions stood over the fallen Guardian, Ben had finally finished his shower and was slowly making his way back out into the center room. He saw them all standing around the bed and was about to say something when he noticed the psycho guardian laying on the bed, blood drizzaling from her mouth. He watched as the group frantically tried to bring her back to life.

************************

"Shouldn't you be home with your parents?" A not so friendly voice beckoned for Reoan's attention and the ex-Guardian turned around to face who ever was trying to draw her attention.

It was a young man, not much older than she. His dark complection made it difficult for her to see his complete form. His bright white smile told her that there was something not right with this situation.

"Can I help you?" Reoan said calmly as the boy began to walk closer towards her. The small island village was still swarming with both human and animal life. The sun had just set, and the darkness was covering the land. People were packing their belongings and closing their shops, while lighting torches and turning on lights.

"Yes you can." The boy replied, approaching her faster.

Reoan kept her hands in her pockets, running her fingers over the hilt of her dagger. He backed her into an alley and slammed her up against the wall. He towered over her, but still not nearly the size of David. She looked up into his eyes, they seeming to be darker than her's, but his soul was far younger and innocent.

"We can do this the easy way," the boy said with an attempt to be seductive as he ran a finger across her cheek. "Or the hard way." He slammed his pelvis into her, grinding his bulging mass into her body.

Reoan growled with discuss as she reached towards her hip, slowly pulling her dagger from her side. "Let's do it the hard way." Reoan sneered as she looked up into her eyes. A flash of fear darted across his face as Reoan pulled her dagger out and plunged it diagonally into his rib cage. The boy tried to scream as Reoan covered his mouth with her hand. "Are you liking this?" Reoan smiled wickedly as she twisted her dagger.

The boy mumbled and groaned as Reoan twisted him around and threw him towards the wall, the dagger ripping from his side. He gasped for breath as he hit with a thud. He grabbed his side, already knowing that it was bleeding without having to look.

"You're not human," he stuttered.

"What was your first clue?" Reoan twirled the dagger in her hand, allowing the blood to drip from it.

"You're the damned one," the boy whispered, his eyes wide with fright.

"What did you call me?" Reoan's playfull mannerism dropped and she looked coldly towards the boy.

"You're...you're Reoan! The damned one...Lucifer's pet...the one we're suppose to destroy!" The boy began to shake terribly and Reoan noticed that the earth itself was beginning to shake as well.

"How do you know that!?" Reoan shouted as she tried to maintain her balance. "You aren't one of those..."

"Zodiac," the boy shouted as he raced forward. The earth trembled, throwing Reoan to the ground as he grabbed a hold of her throat. Trying to regain her senses as she fell into this blackness of rage, hatred and adernaline.

Jacob pulled his coat from his body and then his shirt. His body was not nearly as firmly built as one would think it would be. But it was appealing enough to the eye.

"What are you doing?" Amber shouted, her thoughts completely focused on Reoan that she forgot all about her little crush on the Guardian.

"Going to try and save what's life of her life." Jacob said coursely. "David I'm going to need you to pull out the dagger for me."

The massive man looked down at Jacob from the other side of the bed, tears streaming down his face. "But,"

"There's no other way, David. I have to seal the wound inside her chest and that dagger is in the way." Jacob said in a matter-of-fact tone.

David nodded as he bent over Reoan's body. Jacob crawled up onto the bed and stradled the ex-Guardian, blood dribbling onto him as he placed his hands on either side of the dagger. He took a deep sigh and nodded, the Grigori pulled the dagger straight out and Jacob threw both his hands over the massive whole in the center of Reoan's chest. Blood washed over them as he focused all his energy into the whole. His spirit swirled invisibly around both Guardians, rushing into the open wound. It traveled through her whole body as it drew cells to close the wound and draw out all the blood that had filled her lungs.

It seemed to take hours within Jacob's mind-set, but it was a matter of seconds. A massive burst of air swirled around both figures on the bed and dissapated just as quickly. Jacob's eyes rolled into the back of his head as his body fell limp. David caught him just before he landed ontop of Reoan. The massive man picked him up and laid him carefully next to Reoan, knowing that Jacob's healing would not last if he was moved too far from her.

"She's still bleeding." David spoke in his crued tongue.

Amber rushed to his side and looked as blood still poured from the open wound. "What?! I thought--."

"Too much damage was done, Jacob couldn't heal her all." David continued to stare at Reoan, her skin turning paler by the second. Her lips were starting to lose their color. She was dying and the only one that could save her was too weak to move.

"You!" Amber shouted suddenly, running towards Ben. "You can help!"

"How can I help?" Ben said carelessly.

"You can do what you did to yourself. You can patch her up!" Amber shouted as she stood before the man.

"Why would I want to do that?"

"Please!" she screamed falling to her knees before him. "Please," she placed her hands together as she begged. "Please you have to help her. I can't watch her die. I can't let her die, please!"

Azrael embraced lucifer, tears of unbridled joy trickling down his face. The angel's wings flared and wrapped around Lucifer as Azrael laughed and smiled through his tears.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you! Praise Him, you made the right descision."

Azrael was, to be blunt, overjoyed. At last, his old frien turned enemy was rejoining the fold. A lost sheep had returned and Azrael rejoiced. His embrace on Lucifer tightened as he continued to weep for joy.

"You'r back my friend. Welcome back. I missed you so much!"

O.O.C.: Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Something came up at work.

The flight to Switzerland was a troublesome one. Radars malfunctioning, security unbelievably tight, all was in chaos as people fleeing major cities and authorities trying to get into them.

Daemond and Kadar made it through the gate and into the lobby. Kadar was wearing his casual clothes with his handbag strapped to his shoulder. Daemond was wearing baggy pants covering his boots, a dark brown-faded trenchcoat over a shirt, and a long scarf which concealed most of his face and hangs the length of his arm. His shaggy, dirty-blond hair was the only thing that could be seen besides his blue eyes.

The lobby was swarmed with people and Kadar made his way to an empty area by one of the observatory windows. Kadar was the first to speak. "Switzerland is pretty busy. Looks like we'll have to split up and find eachother later. You know what to do if you find the Zodiac, right?" Daemond made a look towards the crowd to see which path was the best. "Don't I always?" he asked back. Daemond quickly dissapeared into the crowd and exited the lobby within seconds. Kadar followed the flow of the crowd toward the opposite exit.

============================

The crowds in the street were even more tense than the airport and there seemed to be sign of hope for finding the Zodiac. 'This person's energy pattern is all over the place. Everywhere I look, whether it be a simple flower shop or a common park, I always find a dead-end,' Kadar thought to himself.

He stopped in front of a building. There was nothing much, except the windowless brick wall and a steel door. 'There it is again!' He stepped up to the door and pulled it open. Humidity rushed out as stepped in. It was a green house. "Appearances sure are deceiving," he said out loud.

"Sorry, sir," a gardener spoke at the end of a path. "We are closing." The man walked over, trying to escort Kadar back outside, but stopped short at the sight of his hair. "Excuse me," Kadar spoke. The man looked at Kadar's face. "I was just looking for someone. I thought that they would be here."

"You are the only one here. No one else comes anymore."

Kadar caught something in the corner of his eye. "What's that?" Kadar asked as he moved around the man and kneeled down onto the wooden path. It was a strange looking flower surrounded by a newly made gate, but it looked more wild and free than a normal flower did. Even in a place like this.

"Uh, that's a good eye you got there. That flower was going to die off, but it started growing in a crazy sort of fassion. I wanted to get rid of it, but no one really wants it, because it sprouted when all the crazy things started to happen. Supersticious reasons, you know."

Kadar stood up and faced the man, pulling out his wallet. "How much?"

============================

Kadar continued his search, but this time was holding a pot with the flower in it. He could see Daemond walking toward him, a questioning look in his eyes. "How goes it?" he asked.

"It goes."

"What's up with the flower?"

"It will show us where to find the next Zodiac."

Daemond leaned over to take a closer look at the plant, his hand facing it and partlially covering what was visibly left of his face. His eyes grew wide.

"Dear God!!"

Rubedo's energy disappeared.

Raven's eyes snapped open. They had returned to their normal blue grey colour. She stood, a bandage around her mid-section and walked to the windows. Ima and Kariz watched her carefully.

" Rubedo...... why did you do that to me you bastard....." She gripped the bandage.

" Raven, we need to go to Morocco. Which is the best way to get there?" Kariz asked.
" By plane. Quickest, cheapest, easiest," Raven replied shortly, " but you're going to have a hard time trying to get me through there. Rubedo too."

The storm lessened outside and the sun started to break through the clouds. The chill air was warmed and it started to become fairly muggy.

" So, what are we going to do about your friend Rubedo?" Ima asked.
Raven shrugged. " As much as I hate to admit it, we need him. He's a Guardian that is allied with God. And who's this Kadar you speak of?"
" Oh, Kadar is Sagittarius," Ima explained.
" Ah."

Silence grew in the room. Ima and Kariz felt a little uncomfortable around Raven. The Gemini suddenly turned around.
" You two go on ahead. I'm going to find Rubedo. I'll meet you in Morocco. Don't worry, I can sense you."

" You sure Raven? I really don't want to leave you now that we've met up," Kariz said, a concerned face crossing her face.
" Yes I'm sure. Go find the Pisces. We'll catch up."
" All right."

Raven gave them directions to the airport and instructions on how to smuggle their weapons onboard. They agreed and left for the airport. Raven accompanied them downstairs after putting a shirt back on. They parted ways when Raven started to walk the streets, looking for Rubedo.

Zane walked along the golden beach outside of his house, water lapping at his feet. It had been a few days since his last visit to the city. He felt things were going on outside of Morocco and around the world. Curious things......

The assassinations of three world leaders....the attempted execution of the murderer of the leaders...... the attack on Greece...... things were becoming out of hand.

He sighed. The water was so calming to him. He knew why too. He was the Pisces of the Zodiac, the Fish. He felt four presences towards the north east, towards Greece. No doubt these were people of power, people that could help stop this war.

Ben looked at the girl's desparate eyes... damn that conscience.

'Boil some water and get some more alchohol. I'll need some clean cloth and a lighter, too.' he sighed, it was going to be a long night.

'You mean it?' the girl said, tears in her eyes, 'You'll help?'

'Yeah,' he said, impatiently, 'Now go get the stuff, we don't have a lot of time.'

He looked down at the guardian. He'd have to stop the bleeding and finish closing the wound. For the first time, he kinda wished he had some of those powers.

'Here's the alchohol, the water's boiling, now.' the grigori half-breed said, handing him a bottle.

'Good,' he said, 'Now the best thing you can do is stay away from here. I'll need as much room as I can get.'

The larger man backed away as the girl came in the room with clean cloth and the lighter.

'What do you need this for?' she asked, handing him the lighter and setting the cloth down on a nearby stool.

'The lighter?' he held up the needle and put the flame under it, pulling it away only after the tip of the needle had began to glow red.

'Sterilization,' he said, 'Wouldn't make any sense to go to all this trouble just to have her die from a damn infection, would it?'

He threaded the needle before dipping it into the alchohol, better too much than not enough. Then, he got to work. After a few hours of careful and tedious sewing, making sure every stitch was in place and the wound wasn't going to reopen, Ben fell backwards into a nearby chair.

'Is she going to be ok?' Amber asked.

Ben sighed, 'Well, I'm not a real doctor. I've just had to do this enough times to know how... It's up to her, really.'

'What do you mean?'

'She's on the edge, either way.' he said, stretching until about fifteen different joints cracked, 'It depends on how much she want's it.'

'I've done all I can.'

The swirling wind engulfed him and the sound of rushing water could be heard no matter what direction he turned. The trees, the grass and even the sky had a white fuzzy haze to it as a sudden sound of laughter drew his attention.

Slowly he made his way across the leaf covered ground, following the laughter. It was faint no matter how close he got to it until he was upon it. A beautiful young woman laid nearly naked on her back with an almost angelic man braced himself above her. They both were smiling and the joy that engulfed them pulsed as if it were a light. Jacob watched as the two seemed suspended there; in that splendid, blessful moment.

"Its beautiful isn't it?" A sudden fragile voice spoke up.

Jacob snapped his head to the right to see Reoan, staring at the pair. Her body was fragile, brittle, with her arms crossed on her chest. She wore a Guardian's traditional grab, loose trousers and a simple tunic of green-brown coloring.

"Why would any one want to take them from each other?" She spoke again.

"Reoan?" Jacob said softly, but the ex-Guardian didn't turn away from the two before them.

"I love you, Caleb." The girl's voice on the ground drew Jacob's attention again as he watched it play out before him.

"And I love you my dear sweet Reaon and nothing God can do to us will keep me from you." The man ran the back of his hand across her face, bringing a smile upon the very young Reoan's face.

The Guardian pulled the man close to her and kissed him. He then drew her into his body as the kiss turned into heated passion. As the moment became more intense, it began to fade away, and before he knew it, Jacob, was standing in the middle of a massive field; a battle raging all around him.

"Reoan?" Jacob beckoned and soon the woman walked up beside him. He watched her for a moment before bringing his attention back to the battle.

The scenery danced about various small battles, neither Guardian moving as they traveled. They stopped suddenly before an angel and a woman, battling. They seemed to be saying something to each other just before the woman received a blade into her abdomen. Reoan winced as they stood just out of hearing distance from the angel and the woman.

Jacob's attention was drawn to the west as a battle cry rang out. A white stallion carrying a massive body of silver errupted from behind the horizon as a human army moved in. The scene started to blur as it washed away into a white void, leaving only Reoan and Jacob standing in it.

"You knew about the human army?" Jacob questioned.

Reoan nodded, still not looking at him. "I knew about it when I took my place in front of Adoil's army." She replied.

"Why did you continue to fight when you were out numbered?"

"Death did not and still doesn't frighten me."

"But all those people..."

"I didn't care," Reoan cut him off, her hair still hiding her face. "I put those people in front of that mass knowing full well that I was not going to make it out alive because I didn't care. And..." Reoan allowed her sentence to trail off as the white avoid began to waver.

Jacob stood silently watching Reoan's imagine slowly disappear. When it had completely vanished, he stood by himself over a bed in a small and very familiar room. He then saw himself walk into the room carrying some one and placing them down on what was his bed. Jacob turned away for a moment at the sight of Reoan. Her body was badly mutilated, she was so skinny that almost every bone showed and some even jutted from her flesh. Scars, deep hideous wounds errupted all over her flesh caked with blood and mudd. Fresh burns still sizzled on her back.

Jacob turned his head back to watch himself carefully lay Reoan onto his bed, postioning her head on his pillow and brushing hair from her face. Without hesitation his past self turned around and went off to fetch supplies to help heal her.

Jacob took a deep breath as he walked closer to the bed and reached down, running his fingers gently across her battered face. Her skin was rough and moist.

"Why are you showing me this Reoan?" Jacob called out as he stared down at her.

There was no reply as the scene began to fast forward, like forwarding through a movie. He watched things jump around until it stopped suddenly. It was still his room, but with rags, buckets and various other cleaning supplies laid scattered about. He found himself laying on the floor, how he remembered that night. He was completely drained of all his energy after setting all of Reoan's broken bones, and she still had said nothing to him.

There was movement and Jacob turned to see Reoan sit up on his bed. She looked over herself, dressed lightly in a shirt and a pair of his slacks, before she attempted to stand. She threw her feet over the side of the bed with little effort, but seemed to hesitate. She struggled to keep her legs from bending as she finally was able to stand next to the bed. She picked one foot up to move it forward and crumbled to the floor. Jacob's first instinct was to race to her side, but he waited and watched.

Reoan stayed on the floor, noticing Jacob there. She crawled over to him and touched his chest with her hand. "You shouldn't drain yourself so." She whispered to him. She looked up and pulled the blankets from the bed, using some as a pillow and the others to cover him. Finally she dragged herself to her feet again and left the room.

"You went to the roof," Jacob said out loud.

"Yes." Reoan replied as the room vanished and the rooftop appeared, the city screaming below them.

"You knew if you weren't near me, my healing wouldn't be able to take effect." Jacob walked up beside her, like he had that night. She turned to him this time, her eyes heavey with saddness.

"Yes." She turned away and looked down at the street below.

Jacob followed her gaze and at first didn't understand. He searched it, looking for some clue as she stepped closer to the edge. He watched her as she closed her eyes. She suddenly opened them again when his past self walked up from behind her, "the world has grown so much since you last blessed us."

"You were going to jump." Jacob said. Reoan turned to meet his eyes, the scene still playing as if she hadn't moved. "If I hadn't come out at that very moment you would have ended it, why?"

Before he could get a reply, the scene slid away like sand and was replaced with a beach, the sun setting. He looked about, trying to find Reoan, but was having no luck. He raced down the shoreline and soon found her...talking to a black winged angel.

"Lucifer?" Jacob questioned.

He approached them, watching the scene play out in its dramatic setting.

"If you want alliances" Lucifer looked down at her, "I came to you because I didn't want to rush into a hasty decision." He turned his back walking away from Reoan, "And now I know that it was a waste coming here."

"You would turn your back on me fallen? When it is my death that will bring you back to Heaven. Either way, you benefit from me, wouldn't it be wise to stay close to me and not so distant? And I never asked for alliances, Morning Star. You," she paused for a moment, water rushing up her legs, "told me never to have followers.

His dark, outlined form danced across the sky before Reoan turned from him.

"I don't understand." Jacob said, Reoan turning from the sunset to look at him.

"Lucifer was the only companion I had while in Hell. The closest thing I had to it any ways. It took roughly two centuries for us to get past our bitter hatred for each other's kind before we were able to consol one another. It was his job to keep me in Hell and mine to get out. I knew better than to have trusted him, but a part of me felt so betrayed when he left that night, and all I could think about was Adoil." Reoan dropped her eyes, holding her caught close to her.

"Reoan..." Jacob whispered and he felt as if he was going to cry. He stepped forward, hesitate at first, but when she didn't move he walked right up to her and embraced her. Holding her firmly in his arms as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"I just want it all to be over, Jacob. I don't want to go to Heaven, don't want to be in Hell...I just don't want to remember it any more." Reoan whispered, barely audiable.

Jacob creased his face with pain as he rubbed his head against her hair, running his fingers firmly over her neck. The scenery began to blur again, more so then it already was, and suddenly it began to chaoticly disepate. Jacob suddenly found himself alone again, surrounded by darkness with a single street light over head. He could barely make out corpses scattered about the modern street. Jacob creased his brow as he stepped into the darkness.

"GO BACK!" something screamed and Jacob took a step back into the light just as a dark figure reached out for him. Upon hitting the light it let out a piercing scream and pulled away.

"Reoan? Where am I?" Jacob called out.

"Your city." He heard her faint voice.

"What has happened?" He could catch glimpses of things rushing by him, but he couldn't make it out in the darkness.

"A year has passed and the war started, bombs flew while the zodiac were busy trying to stop me. Angels, demons and any other creature that wanted to walk on earth, but couldn't can. And nine of the twelve angels that brought my head to God lay slaughtered before you, three by outside forces and the other by my own." Something started to walk through the shadows and Jacob watched it with wide eyes. The figure slowly came into the light and took a hold of his hand. It was Reoan or what was left of her.

Jacob took her hand as she dragged him across the street, things flying every where, death scattered about and buildings topaling. Jacob did all he could to keep his focus on her and her hand. Her current appearance was worse than the first time he laid eyes on her. Flesh was torn from her body, exposing bone and various other parts. Her guts dangled from her mid-section and blood oozed from the corner of her mouth. Her hair was nearly gone and part of her skull was showing. A piece of her lip gone and teeth knocked out. Even her fingers were torn apart. Nothing seemed to be spared.

She dragged him to a small courtyard fountain, blood washing over its sides instead of water. The cobbled walkway was bare of any life, dead or otherwise as two figures suddenly rushed into view. They were in mid-battle and continued to rage on, not noticing their audience. Wounds were delivered to both parties until one fell to their knees before the other, grasping the edge of the fountain.

"Finish it you bastard!" the fallen shouted.

"You brought this upon yourself Reoan." The other replied bitterly.

"I never asked for Adoil's betrayal, nor did I ask for yours!" the fallen spat back.

"You should never had taken it so far. You should have given up when you came back." He called back.

The fallen hissed and lunged forward, her bowels spilling out in front of her as the other embraced her with his sword between her rib cage. A loud gasp echoed through the barren streets as the sword holder shoved the blade further into her body before pulling it out again. Reoan fell backwards and landed with a heavy thud onto the cobble stones. She gasped for breath as the figure took a stance above her.

"Now I send you back to Hell damned one!" The figure shouted as it sent his broad sword through her chest and straight through her heart.

Jacob whinced as her body twitched for a few moments before finally dying. Reoan pulled him rapidly forward, towards the two figures everything seemed to have froze in that split second. Jacob held firmly to her boney hand as she pointed to the figure above her. He looked down at the dead Reoan and then looked up at her killer.

He screamed out, throwing Reoan's hand from him, stumbling into the darkness. His heart race, sweat poured from him and his eyes wide with disbelief. The darkness surrounded his body as unseen figures began to engulf him, crawling over him and they had begun to smother him. He gasped for breath, blind and unable to hear even Reoan's voice.

He sat up rapidly, choking for breath as he held his chest. His head spun and his stomach ached with nausea.

"Jacob?" He heard Amber scream though his head still spun far too much to tell if she was near him.

"Dude, you need to calm down before you pass out." Some one else said.

Jacob clutched his chest for a moment longer before turning over to see Reoan still laying on the bed. Her chest was patched up beautifully with bandaging completely across her chest. He ran his fingers across the gause lightly as he slid his hand onto her neck. Her heart beat was faint and her breathing shallow, she was dying.

"Reoan..." he whispered, not realizing that every one was watching them and even if he had he wouldn't have cared. He laid his head down onto her neck and curled the rest of himself around her body. "You will not die here like this. You will finish what you came here for and I will stand by your side until my dying breath. I swear on my soul and everything I've ever stood for," he whispered into her ear.

Camilla just wished that this guy would go away. She couldn't even strike up his name. She wished she could though, she would love to use it to yell at him. Camilla looked around, it was unual for this place to be so crowded.

"Did you hear what I said?" His irrating voice broke Camilla train of thought. She was about to say something when she felt t wo strong auras around. Something grabbed at her arm.

"Let go." She tried to tug her arm away. Damn he holding on tight. She tugged a few more times.

"Not until you listen to me." He got in her face.

Great why do I get the stalkers. Jane wasn't it your turn for the stalker type. She sighed. She really didn't want to hurt the guy, but she might have to. "How about after you let go of me or I will scream."

"Please if you wheregoing to scream you would have done it before." He stared down at her.

This guy is trying my patients. She was about to bring her hand around to slap him when someone stepped inbetween.

"Why don't youlet go of the lady." He let of Camilla arm and open his mouth to say something, but got Camilla's foot in the side. With that he hit the ground and with in second he was up running off. The strange man turned around and looked at her. In his hand he carried a flower in a pot. Whoever he was he was one of those strong auras she felt adn the other was not far either. "You.."

"Who do you think you are. I didn't ask for your help and I didn't need it." Camilla cut him off with a disgruntled tome in her voice. She hated being saved. She crossed her arm over her chest and stared at the guy. The other aura came close and stood by him.

"Well I didn't expect Virgo to be like this." The newcomer stated adn confused Camilla.

'Who are you two?" Camilla was starting to get tired.

"I am Kadar nad I am Sagittarius. This here is Daemond." Camilla nodded. "And we found you with this guy here." He held up the flower. Camilla raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, if that's all you wanted to tell me than bye." She started to leave.

"What we need you. It's a long story, but we will tell you once we are on are way."

"Alright fine." She gave in. "Let's go, but the only reason why I trust you is because the flower said to.' Now the two looked confused. Camilla grinned in satisfaction.

Kariz nodded and picked up her bag. ?Alright then, we?ll see you in Morocco. If you get into trouble, send Rubedo to find us.?

"Yeah, sure, we'll catch up with you. Later."

Ima followed Kariz out of the building and they started down the street toward the airport

"What was her deal? I don?t know about you, but she made me uncomfortable?

?Yeah, she seems to have her own agenda in this thing, same as Kadar. He better not be ditching us.? They went into the airport. It was packed, tourists wanting to get home.

?So, fire sprinklers again?? Ima asked as they elbowed their way through.

?Actually? follow me.?

There was a huge crowd of people at the metal detectors, two adults with 7 screaming kids, the alarm was going off and it looked like the father was trying to get his keys out of his pockets. At the other entrance a bunch of adults were fighting over who kept setting off the detector. Crowds off rubber neckers had formed around both disputes. Kariz moved in with the crowd and moved between the two detectors, Ima close behind. The two guards were trying to get some control over the crowds and didn't notice them as they walked off, past the detectors and onto the plane. They grinned and high fived eachother before finding their seats.
