"No...." Rubedo rammed his shoulder into the side of a concrete building as the strenght from his legs gave way. Leaning up against it with what strength he had left...he focused with all his might to try and heal himself from his wounds.

Inside he could feel his lungs gushing with blood as his broken ribs pierced into his flesh...ripping its tenderness to pieces as he continued to move. He palm still pressed upon his chest, a white aura surrounding the sternum as he slowly repaired himself.

The realization of what he had just done overcame him...an angel of God had been slain...just as he had done all those years ago before being sent to hell.

Angel, Demon, human, guardian...it didn't matter to him back then...loyalty ment nothing in the end; as if it were like paper...thin, and easily disposed of. But now...

"what the hell am I doing!?" suppressing the pain, Rubedo fought back the thoughts of which had been entering his mind ever since Albedo let him go of his grasp. He wasn't sure of anything anymore.

Pushing off the wall, Rubedo walked down the abandoned street yet again...following what he thought was the path to where Raven's apartment building was.

"You did well my friend...'' responded Albedo as we walked around a corner, revieling himself to Rubedo...

"I should have known..." Rubedo walked closer and closer to his master as he stood stilll...waiting for him to come to him. "It was you who helped me wasn't it..."

"Perhaps..." he responded with a smile as he took his former pupil into his arms..."but rest now my friend...I'll heal you..."

"Why did you help me...?" Rubedo's voice was empty...having no satisfaction in his victory...resting his head on Albedo's shoulder.

"I came here to inform you on what has been going on...you defeated that angel on your own my friend...he just simply didn't catch onto the fact when you cut off his wings. Don't worry about that now..." as he brushed his fingers through Rubedo's red hair.

"What is it that brought you here then Albedo?'' Rubedo could already feel his strength returning to him...his injuries healing right before his eyes.

"Reoan is dying Rubedo..." spoke Albedo bluntly...holding nothing back from the truth..." becoming tired of all of this...she is but a moment away from death from what it looks. Those faithful to her are frantically trying to keep her alive..."

Rubedo finally felt revitalized and stood upright once again as he cracked his neck and back; stretching himself out...his muscles sored only a little...the strength gained from the battle was already being incorperated into his being.

"Why are you telling me this?" responded Rubedo as he continued to stretch...he reached into his pocket trying to find a cigarette...realizing that he had none. Albedo however was one step ahead of him and gave him two packs and a lighter. Rubedo lite one immidiately...and let Albedo continue to talk.

"Because both Heaven and Hell know what is happening with her...and are at a stalemate at the moment. However, the war here on earth is continuing still...and we can't just let everyone know what is going on."

"So why tell me?" he could tell that Albedo wasn't telling him everything.

"Cause it still needs to be told...you're slowly gaining more and more Zodiac. I sense that two are already heading to Morocco...that Raven has stayed behind for you first."

"She did..." Rubedo was puzzled...

"Yes...she's quite taken with you..."

"Whatever..." nothing stirred in Rubedo whatsoever about it.

"Regardless...I felt that you needed to know firsthand the situation that Reoan is in. Zadar is searching out more and more Zodiac...I see that soon you all will be united with one another. I still don't see your purpose in this Rubedo...but I think you should stay with them. You've certainly proven your valar once again by defeating Ezeqeel."

"And what of Reoan...what will God do now that she is weak?"

"That is for us to know..." Albedo was saddened that he couldn't tell his pupil the truth...or all of it...

"So I keep being told...will I still be hunted?"

"That is yet to be determined at the moment Rubedo...I'd encourage you to tell the other Zodiac what I've told you."

Rubedo nodded and walked past Albedo as he continued down the street...

Stopping..."Albedo...do you think Reoan will live?"

"Why do you ask?" Albedo was pleased that he was asked...finally he was starting to think for himself...

"I just wanted to know...if we'll live through this war?"

"I don't know Rubedo...do what you will...and everything else will fall into place."

With that...Rubedo continued down the street with great speed as he continued his search for Raven.

"I need to get some clothes on...I can't just wear pants...." Rubedo muttered to himself...Damn it...I'm already starting to care about how I look from going shopping before...damn it!

...What will you do now Zodiac... as Albedo faded into nothing.

OOC: Yo Reiku...meet up with Rubedo and let's head to Morocco with the others...would probably be best to stay together;)

The coffee shop was, surprisingly, not busy. People were more worried about going home than lounging around pretty much anywhere. The only customers were Kadar and Camilla. Daemond remained outside to watch for anyone who might notice them.

"So what is this? Why do you need me?"

Kadar layed the plant on the end of the table. "You see, there is a being who escaped Hell." Kadar looked out one of the windows while sipping his cup of hot chocolate. Camilla thought it was strange to see such a guy drink something like that.

"This being is Reoan and she is an ex-gaurdian that had disobeyed God long ago." Memories flashed of events that had long transpired during the war as he scratched his head. 'That's some pretty good dye,' Camilla thought as she looked at Kadar's hair.

"The Zodiac, you and myself and a few others, were predestined to stop her and the war she will cause."

"So how did Reoan anger God?" Camilla half-asked, leaning to the side as she poked her untouched meal. She couldn't believe much less care about his story. It seemed so unoriginal.

"You know, I never really asked," Kadar answered with a humorous smile. He did have an idea, however. Adiol.

"And you blindly follow orders, not given a choice to what you want?" Kadar took a sip from his mug as he looked toward Camilla. He put it down and leaned over the table.

"You ever love someone before?"

'How could he ask that?!'

Kadar leaned back and took another sip. He was thinking of Jamie and Adiol's lover. Things were beginning to become too conspicuous. Maybe he should rethink the plan.

Kadar stood up and put some cash on the table. "It's up to you if you want to come or not. I will not force you to if it is against your wishes." Kadar made a look at the flower on the table and cracked a smile. He turned toward the front door. Daemond noticed and gave the signal that it was almost time.

"Go back home to Jane. She's probably worried about how your date was."

"How do you know about her?!" Camilla stood up and got in Kadar's face. She moved pretty quick. Much quicker than Kadar thought she would. He pointed to the flower on the table.

"The only reason I know is because the flower said so," Kadar said non-chalantly as he headed for the exit. "We both thought that I could convince you to do what is right."

Outside, Daemond pushed way from the wall he was leaning on. "Is Virgo coming?" he asked. "I think she is. But we have another guest on the way," Kadar said as he looked down the street, waiting for the angel to show herself.

"Why does that guy irrate me so." She said to no one but herself. She flopped back down in the chair adn looked at her uneaten sandwich. HEr hand went up and touched the flowers petals and smiled. The plant was happy. She was glad.

She gave a sigh and reached into her back pocket and brought out her cellphone. She dailed the house number adn waited for Jane to pick up. "HEY!" Jane screamed when she answered the phone, throwing Camilla for a loop.

No matter how many years she knew Jane she could get use to her perkyness. "Hey, Jane. Listen..."

She was cut off. "So hoow is your date. Must be bad huh."

"Listen Jane. I ditch that guy, so listen. I have to go away for awhile. Call Vince and let him know. Also take care of the flowers adn feed my birds. Could you do that?"

"Yeah sure, but where are you going? Who are you going with?" Her voice got low and sad. Camilla felt horriable.

"I am going with two guys. I can't tell you where I am sorry Jane. I will coem back though and thinks will be liek they where." She could here Jane start to cry.

"Oh so two guy huh. You are starting t o get like me." She tried to joke around. "You know Vince s going to be pissed right?"

"Yeah I kow. THanks Jane you are such a good friend. I have to go now. I will talk to you later 'kay."

"Love you, Cammie."

"Love ya', too Jane." She hung up the phone a nd grabbed thepotted flower. "Well we can't leave you here now can we." She talked to it and headed out the door. She went out and joined the wo guys. "Okay I will help."

Lucifer nearly melted into Azrael as he remained comfortably still in his embrace. It was almost as if his father, the lord, was welcoming him back into his loving arms. Lucifer felt as if he were ready to weep, but knew no tears would come to him, perhaps someday, for this was only the start.

He reached his own black wings around to meddle with Azrael's white feathers, quietly enjoying the moment as he old friend wept tears of joy into him. Although the moment was sweet it would seem that it had to be short lived, for some sense of dread lingered in the back of his thoughts. He pulled back from Azrael slightly, smiling and wiping tears from his cheeks. As much as he hated to break the moment, he sighed looking down upon the angel,

"Do you feel that?" he asked, the feeling inside of him growing ever stronger, "She's dying."

Azrael nodded slowly, sighing as he stepped away, "Is that who you went to see?" He asked, turning slightly, "Did you try to kill her Lucifer?"

Lucifer shook his head, "No, I had nothing to do with it." His expression seemed a bit grave, "I just went to tell her what choice I made."

He lifted his gaze from the ground, reaching out to pull Azrael into another quiet embrace, "You'll be taking her if she dies wont you."

"Yes," Azrael nodded, relaxing in his arms, "It is my job after all."

"I know, I know." Lucifer nodded, sighing again as he stepped back and spread his wings for flight, "I want to go with you." He paused, "and be there when you take her."

he smiled slightly, reaching out his hand to the angel before him, "Let us go."

"Okay, I will help."

Kadar and Daemond turned their attention to her. It looked like that they were talking to someone else. "Good to hear," Kadar said as he patted his hand on Daemond's shoulder. "Daemond here will escort you to the others."

"It will a be a pleasure doing business with you, Miss Virgo," Daemond stated, half-bowing to her. 'Something wasn't right about him?'

"Aren't you coming with us?"

"Apparently, plans have changed. I'm off to see Reoan."

"WHAT?! But you said the Zodiacs have to find eachother before we confront her!"

"I'm not confronting her. I'm just paying her a visit." Kadar turned away and started to walk down the sidewalk. "Take care of our little friend, won't you, Camilla?" Kadar dissapeared into the crowd. He no longer could be seen or sensed.

"Miss Virgo." Camilla looked up to Daemonds face. Camilla couldn't argue with what was happening, but she was getting even more irritated by the moment. Daemond walked in the other direction, toward the airport that would take them to Morocco. Camilla followed him, flower in hand.

==========================

Kadar was now walking alone, again. Thought after thought bounced in his mind, trying to understand the situation. Reoan was dying and it was by mortal hands. If she could die so easily, than why does God need the Zodiac to defeat her? He could have gone and done it himself if it was so simple.

'I'm beginning to understand..We are not being told the entire truth. I must get both sides to the story before fair judgement can be issued.'

He continued, following the energy of Reoan herself.

'Kadar Romalac, once known as Eloc Freidon, will finally prove what he is all about,' he thought to himself as he drew closer to the answers of so many questions.

"Aren't you coming with us, man?" Daven shouted over his shoulder as he started towards the car.

"Nah, I have to be some where." Jacob waved his friend on, standing casually by the cement steps that led up to his house.

"You know Savanna'll be there, right? I heard she's hot for ya." Daven turned around, walking backwards as he spoke.

"Yeah I know," he smiled broadly thinking of the girl's sweet scent and vibrant smile. He hadn't seen Savanna in a couple days now, and it would have been great to see her again.

"You're not going to see Savanna," Amanda popped up on the other side of the blue colored car, standing on the runners of the passanger side door.

Jacob smiled and laughed at her. "You guys go ahead, I'll catch up with ya later. I really have to do this," Jacob pointed off into the distance not really naming any specific places.

His two dear friends stared at him for a moment, nervous and wishing he would state more but knew that he wouldn't.

"Alright you crazy bastard. You take care of yourself." Amanda said, blowing him a playful kiss as she ducked into the car.

"Catch ya around, man." Daven waved some strange sign as he, too, got into the car.

Jacob watched, a slight pain filling his chest, as the car spun down the small dirt drive way and out of sight. He really wanted to go see Savanna, got how he missed her and her touch, but there was something he had to do. Something that was going to mold the rest of his life and some one that needed his gift. Jacob tried to smile as he turned and walked back up the steps pausing for a moment.

"When the time comes, will they know the sacrifice I have made this day?" Jacob whispered out loud before walking into his home.

It was a mere few hours when Jacob would meet Reoan for the first time in this life and events would lead them to where they were now. Jacob had pulled a chair next to the motel bed and was leaning over it, running his hand through Reoan's long, tangled strains of hair. Amber had curled up in David's lap and cried herself to sleep. David had finally taken both of themselves into the other room and went to sleep in the other bed. Ben had wandered about both motel rooms, pacing in some form, despite the obvious pain he was in from the would Reoan had left him.

"Reoan..." Jacob whispered.

"Is she going to make it?" Ben suddenly spoke up, the quiet air stirring violently as Jacob brought his head up to look at the man.

"I honestly don't know," Jacob's eyes dropped. "She won't let me in again."

Ben took a few steps towards the bed, his eyes focused on the girl laying on the bed. "What did you see, when you were...where ever you were?"

Jacob looked up at him, the man not turning to look at him. He let out a heavy sigh as he turned back towards the bed. "She showed me what she was going through. The love she shared with Caleb. The knowledge of a massive human army that attacked her's when she and Adoil fought. Her first suicide attempt."

"First?" Ben added.

Jacob nodded. "Once she came back to Earth and nearly healed she was going to jump from my roof-top to the pavement below."

"What stopped her?"

"My presence. She hadn't tried it again until tonight and she just might get her wish."

"What drove her to this point? I thought she wanted revenge or something."

"She does, but what revenge is worth all the betrayal and death that it causes? She lost the last thing she held dear to her and..." Jacob started, but simply could not finish his statement.

Ben turned to him, noticing something was on the Guardian's mind. "And..what?"

Jacob stayed quiet.

"What did you see?"

Jacob turned away and stared at Reoan. "She showed me what the world was going to be if this world has another world war and what will be the one to stop her before she finishes her revenge."

"Who?" Ben was getting annoyed at this avoidence shit.

"Me."

"I thought--." Ben started.

"Just," Jacob said sternly at first, his voice going fragile towards the end. "Just leave. Go watch over the other two, please."

Ben looked coursely at the Guardian for a moment before seeing to his wishes. Jacob got up and slowly closed the small wooden door seperating the rooms and sat back down again. His head spun and his body ached every where. He laid his head on the bed, Reoan's motionless arm resting against it lightly.

"Please Reoan, don't give up yet."

'Damn it.' Ben said, as he left the room. These two were asleep, the girl and the grigori. With nothing else to do, he decided to take a walk around the town. He grabbed his coat, pulling it on, but leaving the shirt. He'd be back before he was missed.

Outside, it looked like any city in the world. Ben began to walk around, no real destination in mind. Hell, he'd never been here before.

He passed an old shop that caught his eye. Above the store's name, something in a language he couldn't understand, there was a picture of an angel holding a sword above it's head.

'Funny, how many of them are showing up, lately.' he said. Suddenly, an old woman came rushing out of the shop, stopping in front of him.

'You!' she said, 'What are you doing here? You should not be here!'

Ben looked at her, a smirk on his face.

'Yeah?' he said, 'Then where am I supposed to be?'

'You cannot continue, like this.' she said, ignoring his question.

'Like what?'

'You cannot help her.' she said.

Ben drew his gun and took aim between the woman's eyes.

'What do you know about it?' he asked.

The woman looked at him, harshly.

'Such an undisciplined youth.' she said, 'To point your weapon at an old woman, don't you see what she is doing to you?'

'She didn't,' he said, 'I just don't like anyone with a bigger mouth than me.'

There was a noise behind him, he turned, both guns pointing in the direction it came from.

'Well, then we'll have to see how far your mouth will get you, no?' she said.

'What're you..?' he trailed off, seeing that the old woman had disappeared. He turned back as two creatures bagan to rise from the street.

'Looks like a party.' he said. He started forward, but stopped as a shooting pain ripped through his chest.

He looked down, seeing the wound Reoan had put in him. It'd definitely slow him down.

One of the creatures grinned as a scythe appeared in his hands. The other held a similar weapon.

'Aww, man. Not you guys, again.' Ben said, 'I was hoping for a little variety.' He took aim at the two creatures and fired.

The creatures remained unfazed as the bullets impacted.

'Upgrades, huh?' Ben said, throwing the guns into their holsters and drawing the sword, 'Nothin' I can't handle.'

The things lunged, swinging the scythes at Ben's chest. He stood his ground, raising the sword, perpendicular to the ground and catching both blades on it. The creatures began to push, hoping to force Ben's blade back onto him. Pain shot through his chest, again. He felt his arms about to give and dropped backwards, letting the blades pass over. He fell backwards, rolling to his feet. He was met by a blade coming straight at him. He raised his arm, just in time to stop it from imbedding itself in his skull. In exchange, it lodged itself in his arm and broke off where blade and shaft met. Not wasting any time, he turned and used the same blade to cut the head off the, now weaponless, monster. He kicked backwards, catching the other in the stomach as it's blade fell into his calf. He fell to one knee.

'Lots better than last time.' he said, smirking through the pain. The creature put his hand to the ground as Ben broke the shaft off the blade in his leg. When the thing pulled it's hand away from the ground, another scythe came with it.

'I gotta learn that trick.' Ben said, standing slowly. The creature rushed at him, but Ben had had enough. He tossed the sword into the air and punched the creature in the nose. Blood sprayed as he drove the blade in his arm into the creature, followed closely, by a spinning kick than landed the blade in his leg right where it's heart should be. As the sword fell into his waiting hands, he spun it around, taking the head off the thing's shoulders.

'Bloody hell.' Ben said, pulling the blades from his arm and leg.

He began the long walk back to the hotel. When he got there, Amber and the grigori were still asleep. He began to patch himself up, wondering what the hell had just happened and whether Reoan had woken up, or what, yet.

Raven walked the streets of Athens, trying to find Rubedo. She had no idea why she was doing this, but she felt she had to. For what reasons though, she didn't know. The man irritated her beyond belief. He defied her in so many ways that sometimes she wished she could break his neck and in others..... well.... she didn't know.

Sighing heavily, Raven continued her route she had planned that surrounded the area of her apartment building. Being an intelligence officer has its benefits sometimes. Treading the same sidewalk for the eleventh time, Raven looked up to see the Guardian walking up the street, towards her. His shirt had been torn to shreds during his battle with the angel, Ezequeel. His muscles rippled as he walked. Raven shook herself mentally.

" You idiot....what the hell are you thinking about?!!?"

When Rubedo saw her, he strode up to her with that emotionless look on his face. This angered Raven. With phenomenal speed, she slapped him across the face. Rubedo's face jerked to the side. A small look of shock was spread on his face. He saw that Raven's other hand was clenched and her eyes were closed in anger. He had meant to catch her hand but she surpassed his speed in her moment of rage.

" You ever do that to me again Rubedo, and I swear to God that I will kill you," Raven growled before turning around and marching off to her apartment. Rubedo stood there. A red hand mark appeared on his right cheek. He cracked his neck once more before following her.

Once at her apartment, Raven waited as patiently as she could while Rubedo changed and gathered his things. Her things had been already packed. As soon as he emerged from his room, a dark growling voice came to his ears.
" Are you ready to go Guardian?"

Rubedo looked up into pitch black eyes.
" I am ready," he said.

Without so much as a nod, Raven picked up her things and exited the apartment. Rubedo followed solemnly. She locked the door behind him and marched down to the basement where a silver Nissan 350Z lay parked in the allotted parking spot of Raven's apartment.

" Get in," Raven growled as she opened the car. Rubedo followed obediently. He put their things in the back and climbed into the passenger seat. Raven got into the driver's seat and turned the car on. Stepping on the accelerator, Raven reversed speedily out of the park, put it into first and rocketed out of the undercover parking.

Weaving in and out of traffic, Raven vented her anger on the car, pushing it to its physical limits. She went through numerous red traffic lights, almost caused 10 accidents and almost ran into 3 pedestrians. Her pitch black eyes told how angry she was. Rubedo looked at Raven unemotionlessly then back at the scenery that was flying past at a sickening pace.

************************

In no sooner than a few minutes, Raven swung into the long-term parking at the airport. As soon as she found a park, she turned off the car, grabbed her things and got out. Rubedo followed typically silent. In silence, they walked to the departures terminal of the Athens airport.

Raven walked up to a desk promptly, Rubedo following. The receptionist lookd up.
" May I help you?"
" Tickets to Morocco. I've booked them already," Raven said.
" Under what name?"
" Belladonna Mirth," Raven said, under one of her many work aliases. Not the best one, but it was the first she could think of.
" Ok. Two seats on the next Morocco flight? For you and... your partner?"

The receptionist indicated Rubedo. A puzzled look came across his face. Raven almost keeled over there and then.
" No. A work collegue."
" Beg my pardon then."
" No worries."
The receptionist gave Raven her and Rubedo's tickets and smiled as they left.
Raven growled under her breath.
" Partner my ass! As if you would ever be my partner!"
Rubedo silent yet again.

The two walked to the security, showed their tickets and allowed their carry-on baggage to be inspected. Raven knew how the metal dectectors worked so she could get through them with weapons easily. Rubedo would be another problem. He walked through the dectector before Raven could stop him. The stupid thing went off and Rubedo kept walking.

" HEY YOU THERE! STOP!"

Rubedo turned around. Raven quickly gathered their things and joined Rubedo at his side as he was mobbed by security officers.
" Excuse my brother gentlemen. He is a mute and has several metal disks in his back. I can show you X-rays if you want to see them," Raven said, taking Rubedo by the arm in act and quickly making up a story on the spot. She was good at doing that. Her job trained her well.

One of the security officers looked at Raven's innocent face and Rubedo's impressing stature.
" You have no need to miss. You may go."

" Thank you sir!" Raven said, giving him a kiss on the cheek before taking Rubedo by the arm and dragging him away. When they were out of eyesight and earshot, Raven suddenly ran for the women's bathroom. Rubedo looked confused yet again. In a few minutes, Raven returned.

" That was foul! Rubedo! You.... why..... I ...... GAH!" Raven said before stomping off to their gate. Rubedo looked puzzled before grabbing their onboard luggage and following her.

OOC: Heh! Yes! Raven = 1 Rubedo = 0. Rubedo so deserved that one! Tag Kairi.

Kadar could smell blood. Gunshots were heard earlier, too. Kadar made quick work to get to where his senses told him to go. 'There are three people. But I don't sense power from the third. Must be a human. But it isn't human blood that I smell.'

Kadar followed the alleyway. His light footsteps hardly echoed as he moved like the wind through this channel between buildings. He approached the site only to find that he was too late. Two dead creatures, both headless and still bleeding. Kadar touched the ground where he saw blood that wasn't near the body. It trailed away.

'Definitely a human. He defeated these things without using power. Only his wits.'

Kadar stood up and noticed the trail lead into a specific direction, then fade in the distance.

'It's going to take a while to follow him. Besides, he might have been the one that nearly killed Reoan. I can get answers from him.'

Kadar leaned foward and a blur took his place. It was a good thing that Kadar's pressense was completely hidden the entire time he was gone from Switzerland. Otherwise Reoan or anything else might have already noticed his movements.

Suddenly, a creature appeared out of nowhere, grabbed his head, and threw him into a wall. "GAAH!" The sudden shock took his breath away. Having his aura turned off didn't help either.

"You were the one who killed the others. I will take a head for a head," the thing snarled. It was a werewolf! 'What is a werewolf doing here?!' Kadar thought frantically. 'The climate doesn't suit them!' The beast threw a punch into his gut. As if he couldn't breath at all.

"You are pathetic, human. You may have taken out creatures, but I am entirely different." It grabbed Kadar's head and threw him into the adjasent wall. The concussion was forcing Kadar into unconsciousness. He could not reveal his pressence to Reoan or she might try to escape before even reaching her. Kadar was thrown once again into the street.

The werewolf was laughing as it approached Kadar, who was not moving an inch. 'I think that I will feast apon your head.' As it's form towered over him, Kadar bolted upward and threw his sword at it's chest. It jumped back and turned out of the way. The sword rang against the building. Kadar ran toward the werewolf and jumped, throwing his feet in the air directly into the monster's chest as it stumbled back a couple steps. Kadar jumped and used both feet to kick it back, again.

"What do you think you are doing," it snarled, laughing through the attacks it was receiving. Kadar made another plunge again, a few more feet. "Enough of this!" It swiped at Kadar when he landed. "GOTCHA!" Kadar kneeled and swung his left leg, which swept the werewolf off its feet. Kadar followed his attack with an upward back-kick right into its chest one more time, with much more force.

The monster flew directly into the wall as a blade plunged into its back and out through its chest. The werewolf stuck there as Kadar walked to it. "My sword's hilt embeded into the wall and the blade was exposed. To bad for you, it is made of silver," Kadar said as it was dieing. Blood poored heavily onto the concrete.

It begun to howl, but Kadar's fist flew into its jaw, smashing it into pieces and rendering the werewolf mute. "Sorry, but we can't have you warning anyone of my being here," Kadar whispered while making a small prayer. "May God have forgive you for being tempted by the limits of the flesh." The werewolf's body grew limp as the body melted and evaporated by the sword's magic. Kadar ripped the clean sword out of the wall and slid it home. It rang, pleased by the kill. The sun rose and the sheath glowed, taking in the sunlight.

"Damn it!"

Kadar looked around and saw that blood was everywhere. The man's trail from before was now covered and it was too late to follow him. Kadar would have to go directly to Reoan now and forget about the man.

===============================

It was several hours before Daemond and Camilla's plane had landed in Morocco. Delays and other problems forced the wait. They exited the gate and found themselves in line leading directly to a security area.

"Oh, no. I have weapons on me," Camilla whispered to Daemond, who's expression remained calm and unchanged. He looked around for witnesses and made a gesture with his hand. Camilla catiously handed them over and he made a quick gesture, weapons in hand, as if he was throwing them into the air. However, they disappeared as if they weren't even there.

"Where..how?"

Daemond remained mute and followed the line. Once they made it to the metal detectors, he went through as if nothing was going to happen, his movement was swift and collective. Not one sound. Camilla took her turn. Of course, it wouldn't beep because she didn't have anything else that was metal. After her bag was checked, she caught up with Daemond who was patiently waiting for her.

"You don't talk much, do you?"

"Yep," was all he said. She felt irritated again. She started to walk toward baggage claim, but noticed that Daemond didn't move in the slightest. He was looking at the security area.

"What are you doing?! Let's go!" He pointed toward the metal detectors. "I don't see anything. Everything is normal..Fine!" Camilla turned away and began to walk. All of a sudden, she could hear the metal detectors go off.

She turned around again and saw that two women had snuck passed the security and made their way around her and Daemond without noticing them.

"Looks like the other Zodiac are here," Daemond said, loud enough for all three to hear him.

O.O.C.: I'm speeding things along with the Zodiac regrouping as I'm delaying Kadar's approach to Reoan. Remember, Daemond will say "Gemini will be here shortly" and nothing else. He remains mute unless absolutey nesseccary and his power is hidden to everyone. If anyone disagrees with any of this post, please PM me.

Azrael nodded, and taking Lucifer by the hand and launching himself into the sky. "Let's go, then."

the two angel burst through the grey cluds that covered the sky and into the bright sunlight above. Azrael dropped Lucifer's hand and did a swift barel roll, than continued onards, gliding onwads towards Reoan. He smiled as Lucifer copied the manuever and came back up along side him. He looked voer at the newly reinstated Angel, a sad smile on his face.

"To tell the truth, I'm getting tired. I've been collecting souls so long...I want a rest. A good long vacation away from it. It weighs on me heavily, and I don't know what I can do about it. Maybe when this is done, I can take that vaation, and we can spend some time catching up."

Lucifer laughed, and Azael thought he saw the slightest hint of a smile come to his friends lips.

"Let's hope that he does let you have a vacation. You've been collecting souls almost a long as you've ben in existence."

Azrael nodded, shaking his head sadly. The responsibility was a lot, even for an Angel of the Lord. He sighed, feeling the presence of the dieing Reoan getting closer.

"I think we're here." Azrael rolled onto his side, than dove, landing neatly on his feet, Lucifer beside him. Azrael folded hsi wings, and stped into the hotel, preparing hinself for what lay ahead.

Another airport...man, I am getting so tired of airports...

Morocco. It was warm; then again, it's usually warm in Morocco...one would assume, anyways. Not having been there before gave Ima bad vibes about making assumptions...but the location made sense. They had just walked out on the tarmac, again discussing the metal detectors, when Ima felt a now-familiar twinge. She looked at Kariz.

"It couldn't be that easy, could it?" Kariz shook her head.

"I find it a little hard to believe as well...but still..."

Ima turned in the direction the "twinge" seemed to decree...walking through the airport in their direction was a man and a girl with longish, blueish hair. The man spoke.

"Looks like the other Zodiac are here." Ima and Kariz exchanged a look.

"Is that who you're getting the feeling from?"

"No, mine's coming from the girl..."

"So who's he?"

"I have no clue..." By this time, the two groups were together. Ima stuck out a hand.

"I do believe you're one of the Zodiac?" The girl smiled, shaking her hand.

"Camille...I'm Virgo, actually." Ima nodded.

"Cool. I'm Ima, or Aquarius, she's Kariz-Aries....who's he? And where's Kadar?" Camille shrugged.

"He said he had to meet someone named...Reoan?" Ima froze, staring at Kariz. Reoan? That...that can't be right...can it? Kariz had gone pale; she looked furious.

"Oh, he has, has he?"

Lucifer lifted his head, looking around the area. All was eerily quiet as if the whole world was holding its breath. He could feel Reoan nearby as he watched Azrael enter the motel. He sighed slightly, turning in another dirrection, allowing Azrael to wander. He came to a few windows, the drapes drawn closed. This was were the weak sign of Reoan emited from.

He smirked slightly, dissolving into a cloud of smoke, slipping into the cracks of the window, his essence pooling onto the floor of the room.

Jacob had been resting his head on the bed near Reoan's arm, but lifted it when he noticed something that looked like smoke pouring into the room. His first reaction was that sometihng was on fire. He straightened, ready to move Reoan if need be. The smoke rose and billowed, swirling into one solid form. Jacob looked upon the figure that stood at the foot of the bed, a currious expression on his face. His next instinct was to protect the weakened Reoan.

Lucifer had paid the man at Reoan's side no mind as he looked down upon the one he had kept watch over for so long. He let out a quiet sigh, wanting to move closer, but not nearly daring enough to cross the soul at her side.

"You're Lucifer..." Jacob said quietly, standing tense and alert, "Aren't you?"

"Yes," He finally took the time to acknowlege the man, "I have been called that."

Jacob rolled his eyes with irritation. "What are you doing here, Morning star?"

"I've come to see her." He nodded to Reoan on the bed, but didn't take his eyes off of Jacob. He didn't like this man already, and knew not what he was capable of, "She's dying, isn't she?"

"If you must know, yes. But what's it to you?" Jacob tried to keep himself calm, though his attempt was posing far more of a problem then he had thought

"Hn." Lucifer uttered simply, removing his eyes from jacob and moving them to Reoan. He wasn't sure what the heavy feeling in his chest was, perhaps this was guilt, "I have brought the Angel Azrael..."

He trailed off, imagining that he would know a little about the angel of death.

"You will not take her tonight, Angel. This is not her time." Jacob's voice was firm with a hint of anger starting to rise within

"Not according to you maybe..." Lucifer scoffed, pulling himself to his full height. He didn't like the tone of anger growing in the man's voice, "But Satan will soon have her soul."

"I will die before I let a trader like you have her once again, Fallen." Jacob's tone was filled with bitterness, but he kept the volume in check so not to stir the others.

"Don't test me human." He added a great emphasis on the last word, hoping it would sting the man deeply. "She is going to die, and she is going to Hell."

He glared, his black eyes nearly shining through the darkened room, "No one can change that now."

"She can change that." Jacob bit his tongue to keep the rage from spilling out. "You may have given up on her, but we haven't. We will see to it that she lives if nothing more than to prove this world wrong."

Lucifer shook his head, "With all that stands in her way? And those who come to kill her?" He looked to the young girl sleeping on the bed again, "how do you know that I haven't come to take her life right now?"

"Because you would have done it by now." Jacob said coursely.

Lucifer grinned, "Clever lad." He felt like throwing his head back in laughter, then slay this fool before him. How he wanted to be alone with reoan, not to cause her harm, but to spend her last moments by her side. He was a bit angry however, that Jacob had taken his place. But he had no one to blame for that.

"You will not be taking her this night, fallen. So you might as well leave." Jacob brought his eyes from the angel as he sat back down.

Lucifer didn't budge from his spot, watching Jacob carefully as he moved to sit again, "I'm not leaving," He glared at the guardian, "You'll have to make me leave..."

Jacob took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "She would want you to stay."

Lucifer didn't answer him, but merely remained where he was. Jacob was probably right, but it wasn't as if he was going to stand there and appologise for his choice. He was sure that if Reoan were given the same choice she would do so as well. Then again, he could be wrong.

He gave another silent sigh, looking down to Reoan as he remained quiet.

Black. An empty void stared back at Yasuo through his eyelids in the dimly lit room. He sat cross-legged, lost in thought as he recalled the last day in his mind. It was only a day since his mother had passed, and he brought his sister to his aunt Sachi's. Oni, Yasuo had given the intruder this name. Oni, the demon that murdered half of his family, and awoken something fierce within himself. What had provoked this creature to do such deeds? And what of his new and peculiar powers? Perhaps the stars held the answers. As he opened his eyes to gaze at the stars, he felt it...

The presence was outside, staring back into the window that Yasuo sat under. He rose, shirtless, wearing only the jeans that he had borrowed from his cousin. How lucky he was that they were about the same size. He looked out the window to see the Oni, standing in the shadows of the trees, his legs shown by the moon. He was waiting. He knew Yasuo had noticed him. The smile spread across his ugly face, draped in shadow.

A cold shiver ran up Yasuo's back. He looked towards Hiroko, who was sound asleep. A silent oath broke the silence of the room. "He will not harm you." Yasuo whispered to his dreaming friend.

The blades glistened in the moonlight as Yasuo stepped out, feeling the cool grass at his feet. Thank goodness Hiroko's brother liked to buy swords online. These particular blades were short and straight. They could hook together to create a double sided blade; a swallow Yasuo believed they were called. He held them loosely, pointing downwards at his sides. Oni hadn't moved.

The two stared at each other for a long while. He had forgotten how tall Oni was, reaching seven feet, or more Oni stood. The clouds above blocked the pale moon light for a moment. When the light came back, the battle had begun. Yasuo ran towards the creature with great speed, blades held tightly in his hands. He brought the weapons up to his chest and lunged at Oni, bringing his left hand around to cut at the creature's neck.

Oni was quicker than last time, Yasuo had struck the tree behind him. Ducking down below Yasuo's swing Oni brought his right hand into Yasuo's lower rib cage. Flinging the young man into the air. All the oxygen left his lungs when the blow struck, and his back was the first thing to feel the damp grass and the hard dirt. Rolling onto his side Yasuo righted himself.

Too quick again, Oni was on him. Before Yasuo knew it he saw the stars and the cloudy black sky. It was so beautiful. Grass, dirt, hard... Yasuo couldn't feel the blades in his hands now. He must have lost them after the last blow. Something trickled down his face, blood most likely. Oni had Yasuo's neck in his hand picking him up off the ground. Out of the corner of his eye, Yasuo saw the shimmering of one of his blades. A swift knee to Oni's face loosened the creature's grip only slightly enough to strike the elbow that held him up. A sickening crack and a grunt was heard. Hitting the ground Yasuo rolled towards his weapon and thrusted it into Oni's lower leg. Another grunt, and pain. Yasuo felt pain in his face, must be knuckles. Damp ground, Yasuo was on the ground, under the shadow of a tree. He could see Oni prepare to strike Yasuo again as he lay. This could hurt.

A cold wave swept over the young boy. He needed to move, he needed to dodge this blow and grab his other blade. What to do in such a short time, he thought. The cold, numbness crept over him and he closed his eyes. He heard Oni's fist strike with a thud, but no pain. As he opened his eyes, Yasuo could see Oni look about. What had happened? And why could Yasuo move so freely? He didn't care at this time, he needed to finish this, Oni was too strong and too fast. He reached his hand out for the blade in Oni's leg, he saw the black shadow of a hand as it materialized and grasped the blade. The surprised look on the creature's face was priceless. It was even better as the pain seeped through his body when the blade was pulled from its wound. The look in Oni's eyes was what hurt Yasuo. The blade stuck from the giant's chest and Yasuo could see the pain, the innocence of this creature through his eyes. It hurt, yet the satisfaction and taste for revenge was bittersweet and much to his liking.

The titan fell limp on the ground. Yasuo rose slowly, feeling nauseaous and light-headed post battle. Another mystery to Yasuo was forming. First the panther form, now this shadowy hand, and the dodging of Oni's blow towards the ground.

He gazed up at the stars, feeling the blood drip over his face, Oni's and his own. Perhaps the stars held the answer... For God would no longer speak to Yasuo, he damned him for his losses. Peering over to Hiroko's room, Yasuo knew he would protect her with his life. But what of his knew powers, and the turn for the worst that this world had taken. Perhaps the stars held the answer...

Both Rubedo and Raven sat quietly beside one another on the airplane as they awaited for departure. Raven took a glance over at him...her rage with him was subsiding...but the annoyance still resided. As usual, he was like a rock, simply sitting their with his arms crossed over his chest and eyes closed...seeming like he didn't acknowledge her presence.

Fine...then I wont pay attention to you either... she thoughts to herself as she leaned her head up against the seat, pondering on her thoughts about everything that had been happening.

Finally...after a half an hour of complete silence bettween the two, the plane finally flying towards Morocco...

"There's something I need to talk to you about Raven..." Rubedo's eyes slowly opening, still staring though straight ahead, seeming to still be deep in thought.

Raven was actually pleased for the once he intitiated a conversation. "Yes Rubedo..." not saying anything else so that he would continue.

"My master came to me with some information..."

"You have a master?" Raven said in curiosity...her habits of interigation already rising to gain more info.

She's already changing the subject... Rubedo quickly fell silent...

''I'm sorry for interrupting you like that...a bad habit..." she was trying to be nice, despite how infuriated he made her.

..."...yes, his name is Albedo...the one who taught me all that I know...he came to me back in Athens about Reoan..."

"Reoan?" Raven was confused and lost at the name...

"I'll start from the beginning..."

For the entire flight, Rubedo talked of his knowledge of Reoan; even since the first time that she met her........everything leading up to the fact that she was dying...

"We need to tell all the other Zodiacs this at once." finally she was getting a glimpse of what was really going on.

"Yes...we really need to meet up with the other Zodiacs in Morocco as soon as possible; so that we can plan our next course of action."

The plane soon landed at the airport...Rubedo carried all their luggage out as they soon waved for a taxi outside.

The sweet scent of blood floated gently across the breeze, a fine mist hidden within it. The roaring waterfall crashed upon the motionless rocks below, shoving the raging water down the river. A lone figure stood amongst the rapids, wading in the shallow water, her body exposed for all the world to see though there was no one to see her.

She slid her hair from her face as she continued to scrub at her arms and hands; trying to free herself of the blood she had drenched her body in. The crimson red liquid floated down the river, drawing attention of various fish, but not even the simple creatures risked getting much closer to the warrior.

"It would just be simpler if you just stopped." A deep voice made its way over the raging water.

The girl turned seductively towards the voice she knew far too well. She covered her breast, while her lower half lay hidden within the depths of the water. Blood trickled down her firm stomach, water mixing with it as it sunk into the rapids. She smiled at the man's sight.

"Too many times I have found you this way, Reoan." The man's voice hinting at the pain that filled him.

"And what would you have me do, Angel? This is the life your God has given me." Reoan kept her pose as the slight sound of birds floated through the forest trees, calling out the beautiful spring season.

The man, the angel, stepped forward, allowing his glossy white wings stretch behind him as he approached the water's edge. "I just hate seeing you trying to free yourself, time and time again, of this curse that was bestowed upon you."

"When did you care so much about a Guardian's life, Angel? You were created higher than us. What concern is it to you how many times I kill?" Reoan retorked.

The Angel placed a single, white shoed, foot into the clear, rushing water. The liquid rushed up his leg and turned the fabric a dim gray as he dipped the other foot into the water as well. Reoan turned slightly, a strange expression sliding across her face as the angel allowed the water to rush up around his legs. He dragged one foot forward, splashing water up his body more. Then the next, and he continued to move closer to the human-like warrior until he stood before her, looking down on her humbling stance. A slight fear slid across her posture as she continued to hide her body.

Reoan looked up into his clear blue eyes, heavenly perfect in every way. He stood some where around six foot something, tall enough to make her bend her neck back. His long golden locks were pulled back my some form of hair-tie, not a strand falling out of place. His body was perfectly chisled, not too muscular, not too skinny and not fat, while his clothes fit perfectly against his body. The tips of his white wings hung gently in the water, pulling them back every so often.

"Why are you playing this silly game, Angel? You could easily walk upon this water and keep your perfect form." Reoan searched his perfect face, confusion dancing about her own expression.

"Because, Guardian, I want to show you that I am more than just some angel of God." The angel reached out and placed his hands firmly on both of her arms. Too shocked to do anything, the angel pulled her bloodly body close to him, staining his white clothing. Before the Guardian could protest there contact, the angel kissed her.

Just as quickly and sudden the moment had happened, the scene vanished and both human-like creatures stood in the center of a battle field. War raged around them as Reoan shoved the angel away.

"What the hell are you doing here, Adoil!" Reoan screamed at him. She was dressed now, but his clothes still remained stained.

"To remind you of what you are." The angel said simply, trying to hide the flood of emotion that coursed through his veins.

"And what the hell is that?"

Neither person seemed to notice the war that raged about them. It was as if they weren't even there.

"Do you remember nothing of what is happening?" Adoil took a step towards her, but she backed away. He gave a heavy sigh as he took back the step he had taken.

"I was thrown into Hell after your betrayal!" She cried out.

Adoil looked away, pain streaking across his face. "You're dying, Reoan. Don't you remember?"

"Remember what? I'm not dying." She slammed her hands up against her body, a smacking noise cried out.

"You stabbed yourself in the chest with your own dagger in front of a fellow Guardian. You even showed him everything. Reoan...you're dying and Azrael is on his way to come take you back to Hell." Adoil's voice was desperate as he cried out to her.

The scene around them started to blur. Reoan shook her head, reaching up to hold it with her hands. "Why should I trust you? The last time I did you stabbed me through my chest and watched me die. You sent me to Hell just so you could return to Heaven as a blasted ANGEL!"

"Please, Reoan. If anything...think of your revenge. You have to remember what is happening. The world is in chaos because you created a diversion so the Zodiac and God would be too busy trying to stop it, to mess with something so simple as you. Remember the twelve that have helped take your life. Remember Jacob's dying memory." Adoil shouted as the scene started to dissolve again.

"NO! I don't want to remember it! I want this! I can't go back, I can't face them. I can't wash away all the blood!" Reoan screamed as she sank to the ground, her knees slamming into the dissolving earth.

"Remember the promise you made to make me pay for what I had done. Show the world that you are more than just some simple tool! Show them, Reoan. Make them remember you, make them pay for the life you never asked for. The debt you paid and shouldn't keep paying for."

"I WANT YOU GONE!" Reoan screamed, a dagger hidden within her hand as she lunged forward. Adoil stood waiting for her as the dagger plunged into his chest.

***************************

Reoan's limp body suddenly surged forward, sending both angel and guardian to their feet. She sat straight up for a moment, a sudden gasp being drawn in as she slammed back onto the bed. Both creatures rushed to the bed side to do all they could for her. Ragged breaths left her lips as her chest surged, blood seeping through the bandaging.

Jacob reached out, touching the bandaging and her forehead at the same time a sudden surge of images darted through his head before he could focus on healing at least the top of her flesh to stop the bleeding. The blood slowed and Reoan seemed to be calming herself. Her breathing become regular as sweat poured down the side of her face.

"You bastard..." Reoan's faint voice slowly rose above the noise. "What are you doing here Morning Star?" Before the angel could reply, Reoan spoke again. "Come to watch...the angel of death....take my soul back to Hell." She gave a slight chuckle as she clenched her teeth with pain. "Not this time." She smiled through her pain as she kept her eyes clothes.

Jacob turned his head as Azrael slid quietly through the door and into the room. He stood by the door for a moment, both Jacob and Lucifer staring at Reoan. A strange pulse radiating through the room.

Sitting in the taxi in silence, Raven let the warm Moroccan sun shine through the window and warm her. She gave a shifting sidewards glance towards Rubedo who sat as silent as a rock on the other side of the taxi seat. She looked back out of the window, stewing things over.

There were other Zodiacs here. Both Raven and Rubedo could sense them. On their approach in the plane, both could feel the Zodiacs leaving the airport. Raven swore as she felt their presences depart.

Stopping at a decent looking hotel, the sun began to set over the western horizon. Raven sighed. She looked at Rubedo then away quickly before he caught her glance. He infuriated her beyond belief, and yet she cared for him. She couldn't tell him because she knew he wouldn't feel the same way, just like every other time she felt something towards a male. She was now very certain that her love life was a lost case.

" Rubedo?" she said, sounding completely and utterly exhausted. She couldn't be angry with him any longer.
Rubedo turned a looked at her searchingly.
" Can you take my things up to the rooms? I'm going to go....... do something. I won't be back for hours. If you want to go and find the other Zodiacs, don't let my lack of presence stop you. Don't wait up."

She didn't wait for any response, whether physical or verbal. Simply turning on her heel, Raven walked away to find somewhere to be alone and think, and have a drink.

Zane followed two taxis upon his road-bike. He felt their presences the moment they stepped off what plane they had arrived on. There was two people per taxi. Three of them were women, the other was a formidable looking man. He had watched them depart from a safe distance, somewhat hiding his power.

It wasn't normal of Zane to be suspicious, but the power eminating from these four people were closely related to his powers. It was better to be safe, than sorry.

The two taxis stopped at a nice hotel on the main tourist strip of the Moroccan captial, away from the urban filth and decay. The three woman and one man stepped out of the taxis with their luggage in hand and walked into the hotel. Zane followed them masterfully, making out he was a tourist, inspecting what the hotel had to offer.

The group of four checked in and were escorted up to their rooms. Zane watched them out of the corner of his eye. After they left, he walked up to reception.

" Excuse me, could you please tell me what room those four people are in? I'm an old friend of theirs. I'd like to send them in invitation to have lunch with them," Zane said, putting on a rich English accent to help his case. His eyes turned a sky blue. The receptionist saw not the real Zane, but a rather handsome Englishman standing there.
" I'll send a message up to their room. If you'd like to write it for me, it shall be taken up there immediately sir," the female receptionist replied.

Zane scribbled down his message and gave it to the receptionist. She thanked him and Zane walked away, his eyes returning to normal after he left the building.

The message said:

Welcome fellow Zodiacs to Morocco.

I bet you are wondering why I know who you are. I am a Zodiac myself, and I have deduced from your arrival here that you are searching for me. Consider me found.

Meet me for dinner at a wonderful Spanish restuarant called 'The Flaming Red Dress'. Wear the best attire you have with you. I have included directions inside the envelope. I do hope you will join me.

Yours truly,

Zodiac Pisces

Zane smiled to himself as he ran over the message in his mind. Putting on his helmet and kicking the bike's engine to life, he whooshed onto the busy tourist road and towards his favourite restuarant in the whole capital.

Hours later...

Raven sat alone in a smoky hazed bar. There were a few other occupants other than her. A group of about six men played pool, betting each other on who would win. A couple sat a few seats down the bar from Raven, the woman giggling happily. Raven took her last sip of her rum before asking the bar attendant for another. He grabbed the bottle of liquor and walked over to her, pouring her her drink.

" Don't you think that's enough love?" the middle-aged man asked kindly. Raven took another sip, looking bleary-eyed at the wooden bar before her. She rolled the glass around by its bottom.
" I don't think I've had entirely enough good sir. But you and I are strangers. Quite peculiar that you even have the slightest care for someone you do not know," Raven replied thickly.
" Sounds like you're having romantic problems."
Raven took a large sip from her glass, the alcohol sweeping through her body. " One could say that. Although if you knew, you wouldn't say that at all sir."
" You speak in riddles love."
" At least I speak. The one I care for.... well .... lets just say.... he doesn't know.... and I'm certain that he doesn't care."
" How do you know if you haven't told him?"
" He's silent, cold, distant... possibly bitter with what happened in his past. I don't think he has a caring bone in his body."

Slamming down her glass, she shattered it, glass flying everywhere. Lightning could be seen crackling around her bloody hand that once held the glass. Her blood slowly dripped onto the wooden bar as she sat motionless.

" Good lord love, your hand is bleeding!" the man said, reaching for a cloth.
" There's no need to be worried. I've been worse than this, I assure you. It's a mild scratch, nothing more."
The man looked at Raven, who looked at the bar sullenly. He then looked at her hand. What she said as a mere scratch was actually many deep gashes in her hand. They all bled profusely.
" Look love, you're going to need to see a doctor. Your scratch is going to need stitches."
" I SAID I'M FINE!" Raven yelled, standing up abruptly. The whole bar went silent.
Raven sat back down, her hand in her non-bleeding hand.
" Excuse my outburst." She left enough money for the numerous drinks she had and a large tip before leaving the bar.

Walking up the stairs to street-level, Raven looked out into the night. The street lights were blurry to say the best. Heaving her coat over her tightly, she began the walk back to the hotel she and Rubedo were staying at. Even though she was highly intoxicated, her sense of direction never managed to fail.

Heavy footsteps came up quickly behind Raven and before she knew it, she was in an alley-way, against a wall. She could make out six figures in her blurry world her eyes portrayed. She could see glints of various weapons being pulled from their hiding places. Raven looked up to the man that had her pinned against the wall.

" You were easy prey. Too drunk to notice us following you. Too drunk to even figure out what we plan to do to you," the man said, the one that pinned her against the wall.
Raven let out an exapserated sigh. Her sarcasm would never be misplaced, even if she was completely and utterly off her face, drunk. " You are going to hurt me with your weapons, use me as your little pincushion with your pins you have as dicks and then, possibly, kill me."

The men looked in shock at one another. However, the shock soon turned to rage. The man that pinned Raven against the wall speedily stuck a knife under her throat. She felt a small trickle of blood go down her neck and between her breasts.

" You're a cocky one. I like those. They take more to break than the others who just scream for help. No one comes to rescue them, you know. They're all so sweet, so young, so fresh when we pick them off." He smelled her hair. " Mmmm.... you too have that scent.... that scent that all men desire.... the scent of a virgin."
" And if I am one? What's it to you? I'm sure your little pin won't do anything to it," Raven replied sarcastically. With the force of Rubedo's hit, the man backhanded Raven across the right cheek. Her head jerked to the right. Blood dribbled out of her mouth and onto the ground.
" That's for insulting me. You should learn some manners."
" And you should learn not to mess with a person that's way out of your league."

Raven brought her head up and glared the man in the eyes.
" I'll give you one warning... all of you... Don't mess with me."

All of the men starting howling with laughter. Then all of a sudden, they all attacked her. Within a few minutes, Raven's clothes were torn to bare shreds, her body had become a training device for the weaponary skills of the group and her privates had become somewhat of a public affair.

" Ok.... that's it."

Eyes neon yellow, rage in her mind, Raven unleashed her powers directly to kill. Lightning came from her body and instantly turned each man into ash as he attacked her. Within a few moments, none were left alive.

Staggering out of the alleyway, Raven made her way only a few more blocks down the streets before limping into an alleyway and collapsing against a wall. As she slid down it, she left a great blood smear. Luckily, she was far from the public's sight.

She looked up from the ground and stared straight ahead.
" Are you happy now Rubedo? You fucking happy...." she said before passing out.

OOC: I think my post is pretty self explainatory. Zane followed Deamond, Camilla, Ima and Kariz to the hotel and asked them to meet him at the restuarant. And there you go Kairi. Hop you're happy now.

O.O.C.: I'm posting now and I hope you agree with it, lil kitsune boy. Let's put the next phase of our story into motion.

Climbing the flight of stairs, Kadar could feel the pressence of many idividuals. His footsteps echoed through the columns of steps as he continued his pursuit. Turning upward toward something that could change his fate and those who count on him. None-the-less, he must do this. He must prove that his theory is wrong. His doubt in the structure of the world.

The pressence grew stronger with every pace and motion toward his goal. He exited the starwell onto a floor level. He could feel anger. He could smell death. He touched the boundaries to Hell. 'If this is what it's like to be physically close to those who have experienced it. Than what must the final climax be like to even witness?" Kadar thought as more signs and different beings could be sensed. "I am thinking foolishly. No one will be of witness."

His focused gaze had trailed to a door. The room where Reoan must be.

==========================

Ben could hear that more people were in the next room. More than there should have been. Amber and the grigori had begun to stur and learned of the conversation inside. "They cannot have her," the grigori said out loud. Making his move toward the door that led to Reoan. "Hold it. We've got another visitor," Ben said as he made a motion for the grigori to stop.

The front door swung open and entered a man. His form was casual and the look on his face was calm yet stern. His right hand was holding the hilt of a golden sword that rested in its sheath. The crimson red vest, the vibrant blue jumper, and his platinum hair seemed to glow as it gave the man a pressence of high class.

All was mighty and dazzling, except the gun that had found its way to his neck. Ben had moved to the side of the door and positioned himself to ambush the intruder. They both became still as if they both were in suspended animation. "Who the Hell are you?" Ben spoke softly in a cool tone. The man's eyes met with Ben's.

"Kadar Romolac. Zodiac Saggitarius," the man answered. The gun fired, but Kadar hit the butt of the gun with his elbow and adverted it to the ceiling. He crouched over and made a side kick with his heel toward Ben, who dodged backward and rolled to a chair three feet away. As Ben rose from the ground, he managed to sweep the chair in the opposite direction directly at Kadar. Kadar, with his right hand still on the hilt, shattered the object with one blow from his left fist.

"You're good, but I'm better," Ben uttered as he made begun to bring out his own blade. However, Kadar threw his sheathed sword, tip first, directly into the hilt of Ben's blade forcing it to go back in. Ben was shocked by his accuracy, but remained calm. But Kadar spun like a top toward Ben like a silent twister, spinning along with the sword's trail. This all happened in unison without Ben noticing. Kadar suddenly stopped spinning directly in Ben's standing space then back-handed him square in the jaw with his fist. Ben spat out blood, however, pulled out his weapon in time and took advantage of the open target.

Air sliced and blood sprayed from Kadar's arm as he made a move to avoid severation. The two were in a class of their own in melee. Each one sneered at eachother's skill. Kadar got away from the manuever with his partly sliced open fore-arm, but he made no cry of pain.

"You're mine, Zodiac," the grigori shouted. The gap between it and Kadar had closed and it was upon the prey. With Kadar's back still turned, he rose his heel and kicked into the grigori's gut and into the air, slamming it against the ceiling. Kadar had made air and was open for yet another attack. Ben took his sword and slashed at Kadar. Despite the attempt, Kadar had already drawn his weapon and swung with a swirling motion, along with his entire body, toward the attack. They cancelled eachother out and stood still as they stared eachother down. The grigori had finally fallen from the encavement in the ceiling unconscious.

"YAAAGH!" The demon girl had charged toward Kadar. "No, Amber! Don't!" Ben shouted. Kadar had brought his power out of hiding and charged his fist with concentrated flames. He turned around and lunged toward the helpless demoness. Ben could do nothing, but witness her demise.

Kadar could finally see his new threatening target. He was aimed to seriously hurt whatever it was. But as he finally came within inches of the demoness, he stopped, a look of shock on his face. It was, but a mere girl and she looked like..

"Why did you stop?" Ben asked in a calm and almost grateful tone. Tears had grown from the girl's face as she began to cry over what had almost transpired. Kadar sheathed his sword and a pain of horrible sorrow consumed him.

"..I..am not here to fight. Only to see your master and speak to her about something," Kadar choked as he tried to make with the words. His actions almost caused someone else to feel the pain he had to indure for so long. Amber moved to Ben and hid behind him for protection.

Almost instantly, a voice could be heard from the door to the next room. "Let him in. Let the Zodiac in." It was Reoan. Kadar was surprised that she wanted to let him pass. Almost surprised. He walked to the door and made one last look to the girl to make sure. Then he placed his arm on the door and entered the next room.

"His arm. There's a scar where I had cut him," Ben whispered.

Kadar's eyesight had adjusted and began to make out the images of people. Azreal, the Angel of Death, was the first to be made out. Then came Lucifer, the Morning Star. Finally, the last two people could be seen. A woman who he knew dead on was Reoan. And a man. The two made eye contact and made an attempt to look into eachother's eyes. 'Then I guess that this would be Adiol's reincarnation,' he thought.

"It's true. You do look like him. Eloc Freidon."

O.O.C.: So what do you think? The fight scene was pretty cool (which I can't wait to sketch out) and I tried to keep lil kitsune's character to his own. If there is anything that is too out there, Demonchild..well you know.

Kariz stood in front of the mirror. She had dressed in tan slacks and a white button up shirt. It was the best she had. She could not believe Kadar was going everywhere on his own. Who did he think he was? muy arrogante. Kariz brushed her hair out in long straight waves down her back. Raven was somewhere in the city, by herself, what else was new. And now they were all getting dressed for dinner. She wondered if Raven would make it to them for dinner or if Deamond would be joining them or not. He hadn?t said a word since they got there.

Ima was sitting on the edge of one of the beds and Camilla was in the shower. With Kadar gone, she saw herself as the closest thing to a leader this rabble had, but they were all so independent. The only one so far with any following capabilities was Ima.

?Hey, how you doing?? Ima asked tentatively. She knew Kariz was mad about Kadar

?Oh, I?ll be fine. Thanks.? She smiled at her. ?You know, I sensed out Kadar earlier. He?s on an island near here. I had this urge to go follow after him.?

Ima laughed and gave her a hug ?Girl, you?ll get over it.?

?Yeah, I know. I just can?t believe he ditched us for his own agenda, nao esparto. Where is, what?s his name, Deamond??

Ima shrugged ?I think he?s downstairs in the lounge. I don?t know if he?s coming to dinner or not.?

Kariz nodded ?And Raven is somewhere in the city, but she out on her own on purpose. She can find us if she wants to.? The phone rang. Kariz stood and walked over to answer it

?This is Rubedo. We need to talk?

Camilla stepped out of the shower and threw the towel around her. She whiped the steam off the mirror and looked at herself. What was she doing here really. She shook her head. I told Kadar I would help. Camilla began to feel irrated again.Whenever she thought of him she did. Shrugging it off the dried off her hair and placced it in a bun.

Through the door Camilla heard the phone ring. It sounded like Kariz answered. They both seemed really nice. She had put on a chinese dress. She was able to go and get it earlier. Camilla didn't like to be under dressed for anything. Besides she knew where some good shop here where.

She opened the door and the steamed escaped. Kariz was still on the phone and Ima was sitting on the bed. Camilla sat down on a chair. kariz looked troubled somehow. Kariz hung up the phone. "It was Rubedo. He wants to talk to us."

"Who i s that another zodaic member?" Camilla asked.

"No. I will explain it later." Ima said. Camilla nodded. "We should get there than. What about the other Zodaic though."

"You two go talk to you Rubedo. I will drag Deamond with me to get teh other Zodaic. We all will meet later back here. Does that sound okay?" Camilla looked at the other two girls.

Ima thought for a second. "I don't want to have us split up, but hter eisn't any choice. Okay than."

"Okay i will meet you later." Camilla picked up the envolope that had the directions. "Be careful you two." Camilla said as she closed the door.

Camilla took the stair down to the lounge. She saw Deamond sitting in a chair. Most people where avoiding him. She walkd up to him. "Come on lets go."

"Miss Virgo?" He siad and looked at her.

"I wish you would call me by my name. I have told you that a thousand time now. Come on, it seems that there is some trouble adn Kariz and Ima are not going to be joining us. So it's up to you and me to go get the zodaic." Deamond got up and din't say a word. He followed Camilla out. Camilla haled a cab and told the driver to go to "'The Flaming Red Dress'. Deamond sat there quite as he always was.

I wonder why he doesn't talk so much. Bet he has so information on Kadar. Camilla went to say something, but she knew she would only get a yes or no answer. She looked out the window as the scenery went by.

She was irritated. She probably had so many questions about why everyone was here and Kadar was not. Daemond was looking out the window. Not to see the scenery, but to sense the progress of Raven and Rubedo. It looks like they won't make the invitation.

"Kadar."

Camilla turned her head to Daemond. He was finally going to speak. "What? Kadar?" Daemond crossed his arms and lowered his head.

"He is one who doesn't wish to put others in danger."

"Put us in danger? If he can go to Reoan on his own, then if we all went, this would be over."

Daemond took a breath and sighed. "Not the safety of you and the others...The safety of Reoan."

Camilla twitched from the curveball that Daemond threw at her. "What?! Reoan in danger? We are the ones that need to kill her, not protect her!"

"Kadar never said anything about killing her to stop the war. He believes that to end the war, proper justice to the right aggressor will be the key."

"..."

Their taxi stopped in front of of The Flaming Red Dress. They both got out and Daemond payed the driver, who then departed. "Only true justice can satisfy Kadar. Besides, he is in love. In love to the point that it will destroy him if his illness is not remedied." Camilla did not like the tone that Daemond had said those words in.

He reached into his scarf and pulled out the weapons he had hid earlier. It seemed impossible to hide them in such a place. "Here, Miss Virgo. You might need these."

"Aren't you going with me?" She felt really annoyed. Almost as much as Kadar made her. "No. Do you expect them to let me in wearing clothes like this? And I don't like dressing up for any occassion." She accepted her weapons and he jumped into the air, which he dissapeared into.

"We're in room 357...please come meet with us..." said Rubedo on the phone to Kariz.

"We'll be right there..." replied Kariz as she hung up the phone.

Rubedo placed the hotel phone down as he turned back towards the two beds. Upon one lay Raven, wearing her silk pajamas, passed out on the bed. Rubedo had healed her wounds...nothing but slight scars remained from her attack, but nothing compared to the inner scars.

In the silence of night, you could feel the essence of sin and death in the darkness...Raven had been out for a longer than Rubedo had liked...after waiting in the hotel room for quite some time, unpacking all of their belongings he decided that he couldn't wait anymore.

Tracking most of the city, he finally came to where a pile of ash resided...all in six individuals areas. Small traces were already being blown away by the gentle breeze as he searched the area. Blood lay on the street...he could sense that Raven had been here...that something horrible happened.

Following the trail of blood...he finally found her, laying up against the wall of an alleyway. Her body was naked; battered and bruised from whatever took place. Taking her into his arms, he swiftly made his way back to the hotel.

Using a wet wash cloth to whip away the blood flowing from her hand and face, he dressed her in one of her sets of PJ's and layed her to rest on her bed. With his healing powers, the bruises and cuts were mended...the physical pain within subsided, leaving her body in peace. But he could feel the anger raging with in her...he couldn't help but think that he was the cause of this.

The rest of the night...Rubedo sat on his bed watching over her...he had found the number to the other Zodiac's rooms. He knew he should call, but he felt that this was something Raven needed to do.

Seeing though that she was not going to wake from her slumber...he decided to call...

***Present***

Both Ima and Kariz came into the room all nicely dressed up for their meeting with the Zodiac at The Flaming Red Dress. As they entered without knocking, they saw Raven lying on the bed with Rubedo leaning up against the far wall.

"Are you Rubedo?" questioned Kariz as they both stopped at the doorway.

Rubedo slowly brought his attention towards them, acknowledging their presence..."yes I am...you must be the other two Zodiacs."

"Yes we are" added in Ima...''we're on our way to meet with another Zodiac...we were hoping you and Raven would accompany us." Something stirred Kariz and Ima in their insides as they looked upon Rubedo...he didn't read like a Zodiac at all.

"What happened to her?" finally spoke Kariz to break the silence.

"I dont know what happened...she was attacked...I went out to look for her and found her in an ally not too far from here." answered Rubedo as he stood up from his leaning position.

"You left her alone?" both Zodiac's were in complete sink with one another as they asked him...

For some reason...Rubedo's stomach went sick...is this really my fault...have I drifted...from protecting others...and not simply to kill... it finally hit him like a ton of bricks. He had been so wrapped up in killing, fighting...he had completely forgotten all the other things that his master had taught him.

"Yes..." he finally responded...

"Well, we're heading to the Flaming Red Dress to meet the other Zodiacs...will you come with us?" Ima was in a sense of a rush...knowing that time was short.

"I won't leave her alone again, will you two get her dressed?"

Both Ima and Kariz looked at each other in confusion...but nodded to Rubedo and Kariz motioned to him to leave the room as Ima dressed Raven.

Outside the room...Kariz quickly talked to Rubedo...

"So...what exactly are you then..." Kariz wanted answers...to set the story straight.

"I'm...a guardian...just like the one called Reoan. I came across Raven in Athens where she caught and arrested me..."

"Why were you arrested?" Kariz already was worried about this guy. He looked strong, but what scared her the most were those eyes...his face was completely blank of emotion, but what lay beneathe was much much deeper.

"It doesn't matter now..." Rubedo trying to change the subject...knowing that it wouldn't end well. "What's most important is to meet up with the other Zodiac as soon as possible so you all can figure out what you need to do."

"What we need to do.....what about you?" this girl and her questions reminded him of Raven....

"I don't know my part in all this yet...I'm here as support for the time being."

"So be it...we're glad to have all the help that we can. Nice to meet you Rubedo..." Kariz stretched out a hand of friendship.

"The pleasure is mine...and you are?"

"Kariz...the girl inside with Raven is Ima."

Ima opened the door..."hey...I've got her dressed...now what?"

Without saying anything...Rubedo lifted Raven with ease onto his shoulder as she still slept and walked back towards the other two..."lets go..."

The two Zodiac smiled...knowing that it was best to stay together...and headed for the front of the hotel where they called a cab.

There in the cab...Rubedo explained to Ima and Kariz with Raven leaning back in the seat what information he knew.

Zane opened his deep sapphire blue eyes. His extremely cool purple lensed sunglasses lay on the almost end of his nose.

So, only one comes. Pity.... I would have like to seen at least the three ladies that would be accompanying me along this journry He sighed. Oh well... seems like I'll have to wine and dine this lovely lady. And she comes with weapons, interesting.

He looks to the entrance to see a beauty of cobalt blue hair enter in a Chinese dress. The dress perfectly suited her luxurious curves. Zane had the waiter escort her over to their table. He got up and allowed the lady to sit as he pushed in her seat. He sat back down.

" So, only one comes..."

" I apologise. Something came up..." Camilla said before being interrupted by Zane who had his eyes closed and his arms loosely folded in front of his chest.

" Ima and Kariz, is it? They went to this fellow Rubedo. A Guardian. And your companion, Deamond, he doesn't like to do these things. Ah... "

Camilla looked shocked at Zane who sat there silently with a small sly smile on his face.

" How did you know?" she asked, whispering.

" My abilities as the Zodiac Pisces range from being able to read minds, predicting the future, and of course, my Evil Eye ability. But lets not talk about such trivial matters. What's your name, my fellow Zodiac, and which are you?"

" I'm Camilla, and I'm Zodiac Virgo."

" Ahhh... Miss Camilla is it? Pleased to meet you." Zane got up from the table, walked to Camilla's side and took her hand gently. He kissed the back of it very gentleman-like. Camilla blushed. Zane walked back to his seat and sat back down.
" I'm Zane, Zodiac Pisces as you already know."

" Um.... very nice to meet you Zane. Your ability, the Evil Eye, interests me. Why is it called that?"

Zane looked at Camilla with his piercing blue eyes. " I don't wish to show you. It's far too harsh for me to do something like that to a beautiful lady such as yourself." Camilla blushed at his compliment. " But I'll show you when we leave. We have guests outside."

Camilla looked out the windows of the restuarant to see a gang standing, waiting outside.

" Why are they here?" she questioned.

Zane took a sip of the rose champagne he had ordered for himself and Camilla. " I'm a doctor around here. I think they have personal issues with me. But lets enjoy our meal first. I've already ordered. I hope you don't mind trying some new things." Zane winked and Camilla blushed again.

A taxi suddenly pulled up outside. Four people came out. Zane's attention was immediately drawn to their presences. He turned to Camilla and smiled at her. " It seems your friends have come after all."

He ordered the waiter to gather more chairs and join another table onto theirs. Rubedo, Raven (who was now awake although a bit disorientated), Ima and Kariz walked inside the restuarant. Another waiter escorted the others over to their table. Kane stood and greeted each by name and Zodiac type, except for Rubedo who he greeted by Guardian. He kissed each lady on the back of the hand, and gave Rubedo a firm hand shake.

" Please, come sit with Miss Camilla and I. We were just about to eat. What can I get you to drink?"

Rubedo said no more alcohol for Raven, who really couldn't care because she had no idea where she was. Kariz and Ima ordered their drinks. They all sat down. Camilla, Rubedo and Raven on the right side; Zane, Ima and Kariz on the left. They started drinking, all talking happily except for Rubedo who was talking sparingly, and Raven, who was silent and leaning on Rubedo's right shoulder groggily.

Zane's attention was firmly fixed on the conversation at hand, although those menacing figures outside started to annoy him. The meals were brought out. The wonderful smells of spices filled the air. Everyone's mouths started to water.

First course was a delicious soup made with hot Spanish sausages and rich Spanish cheese. The smells of the food made everyone ravenous. Second course was a choice of spiced lamb or a vegetarian dish just in case. Everyone chose their preference and their meals were promptly given to them. The food was superb. Everyone was having a good time, even Rubedo was enjoyng himself, even though he wasn't showing it. He was more concerned over Raven, which was strange. She ate her food slowly and carefully, her head pounding. Zane watched the two with a grin on his face.

Interesting..... those two care about each other.... but are too stubborn to admit it to each other.... Raven has been hurt in the past. Her past romantic relationships have failed miserably... Poor woman... Rubedo has been hurt in the past too... those images are terrible. No one... not even a Guardian should have to live through such experiences...

Dessert was a special type of chocolate mousse with white chocolate mousse in the centre, drizzled with brandy schnapps. It was scrumptious. Accompanied by the rose champagne, everything was so tasteful. By the end of the meal, all of the Zodiacs and Rubedo were feeling rather full and satisfied. They had gotten to know each other quite well over the course of dinner. Zane watched over everyone as most talked happily amongst themselves, although his attention was firmly fixed on Camilla. She was indeed a rare beauty. Her blue hair and blue eyes reminded him of the ocean he loved so much.

Standing, Zane smiled down at them.
" Well I must say that was an excellent meal. Compliments to the chef! Anyhow, I'd like to invite you all to my house. It's out of the city near the ocean. It would be better if we talked about more serious matters there. We can all have after dinner drinks if you wish. I have a fine collection."

They all nodded, got up and left. Zane paid the bill as the others left. However the others ran straight into the burly group of men that had been waiting since Zane and Camilla had arrived. Zane stepped out and stood in front of the ladies, his hand pushing up his purple lensed glasses slightly.
" How rude to interrupt someone when they are out with guests. I suppose though, that all of you don't have manners, so I'll pass the lecture," Zane said, a sly grin on his face.

" YOU! Angel Doctor! You let our comrade die! We would have paid you to keep him alive, but you didn't want money!!! YOU LET HIM DIE!" the leader, who stepped forward, roared. All the Zodiacs and Rubedo looked at Zane, who had his rich brown hair covering his eyes.
" There was nothing I could do for him. He had an advanced case of a severe illness. I let him pass to Heaven with a vision that he wished," Zane replied coolly.
" YOU COULD DO SOMETHING FOR HIM!!! YOU'RE THE ANGEL DOCTOR!!" the leader said angrily. He charged at Zane. Rubedo went to move when he found he couldn't move.

Zane's rich brown hair turned spikey and the pupils of his eyes turned to slits. All of the sudden the leader stopped dead in his tracks, a look of horror over his face. The whole gang's faces were looks of horror.

" Don't..... don't look at me...." the leader stuttered as he dropped to his knees, holding his head, although he was unable to tear himself away from Zane's demon-looking eyes. A minute passed and the gang suddenly found they could move. The leader scurried away from Zane, whose hair returned to normal.

" Did you have a nice dream?" Zane asked, pushing his glasses up his nose again. " One minute. For one minute, what you saw was an illusion. I hope you don't threaten myself or the others again."

With that, Zane walked to the taxi zone to find some taxis for the others. He hailed two. Camilla came up to him, as the others did.

" What was that?" she asked.
Zane sighed. " That was my Evil Eye technique. For one minute, I can show them illusions. Everything feels real. These illusions are nightmares that you can see, feel, smell, taste for one whole minute. Now, on a happier note, lets go to my house!"

Half an hour later...

Zane paid the cabbies for their services and sent them on their way. The almost full moon shone over the ocean brightly. A cool ocean breeze calmed everyone as they walked towards Zane's house. It was a beach-house style - open and luxurious to most people - but the Zane, this was his little piece of paradise. He ushered them all inside and gave them all a drink of their preference. They all sat on his large sapphire blue sofas. He sat down in an armchair, facing them. He took a sip of his drink before continuing.

" So, what shall we discuss?"

OOC: Sorry for the long long post. Just wanted Zane to really get involved. I hope he is portrayed in the gentleman way I know him as. Well, any of you can continue from here. Have fun! Oh... and attached is what Zane looks like when he uses his Evil Eye technique. Thanks Ban-chan for the idea!

She took in the room. The setting had reminded her of home. Everyone was relaxed and cheerful, except Rubedo, who never seem to be cheerful, and Raven, who had passed out curled up into a corner of one of the sofas.

?Well, I hate to lower the mood, but we have to discuss our next move. Now, I know I?m not the only one in this room who can sense that our next Zodiac is somewhere in Japan.?

She saw Zane and Rubedo nod. ?But, Kadar is on an island near here and I don?t think we should leave him behind.?

Ima nodded but Camilla shook her head

?He went on his own because he didn?t want us to endanger Reoan.?

Everyone looked at her shocked except Rubedo and Zane.

?He?he?s not sure killing Reoan would bring balance.?

?Killing her could tip the scales in God?s favor, but that?s another imbalance? Zane nodded

?And I guess he?d want to see what Reoan knows, what part of the imbalance lies with her?? Ima said.

Kariz looked thoughtful, a small ball of fire appeared in her hand and she played with the flames. ?Sim? that all makes sense, but we still shouldn?t leave him behind. We could at least go there and make sure he gets out of there ok. I doubt those guarding her are going to be keen on letting a zodiac see her.?

?That sounds reasonable?wait, where?s Daemond??

?Oh!? Camilla stood ?I forgot about Daemond, he?ll be waiting for us all at the hotel!?

?Ok.? Kariz stood, the fireball going out. ?I say Ima and I go back to the hotel, get everyone?s things, and Daemond, and come back here. That will give everyone time to think over our next move and we can take a vote when we get back. Sound good??

Everyone nodded and when the taxi came, Zane showed them to the door. Ima headed for the car, but Zane touched Kariz? arm. She turned to face him.

?I see you have the fire of a tiger in you Kariz.? He said, smiling at her

She returned the smile. ?Thanks?

Ima looked at her questioningly once they were in the car.

?What did he mean,' fire of a tiger'??

?I?m not sure.? Kariz said, looking out the window. Maybe the tiger from her dreams was becoming a reality?

Lucifer stood, completely shocked at the vital ex-Guardian as she crawled up the head-board, propping herself up against it. Blood trickled down the front of her shirt as she gritted her teeth from the effort. Jacob watched her, on the opposite side of the bed of Lucifer. He didn't reach out to help her, knowing she would refuse it, but was ready to catch her if she were to start and fall.

"My dear, reincarnat," Reoan paused, gasping for breath. Just the simple act of breathing was a struggle. "You risk my very life....being here."

"Not my intentions, I assure you." The zodiac took a step forward, his posture completely non-threatening.

"That's close enough," she placed a hand up. Hard, nearly brown blood stained her hand, sliding down her wrist until it reached her elbow. "Now, Jacob." Reoan turned her head slightly so she could at least see some part of Jacob. "Would you be so kind...as to...escort are Angel guests out of the room. Since...I won't be dying any time soon."

Jacob nodded as he walked towards Azrael, the Angel of Death stood perfectly still as the Guardian approached him.

"I will not leave." Lucifer spoke up suddenly, both angel and guardian turned to look at him.

Reoan shot her head in his direction, a small spell of dizziness taking over her for a moment. "You are not allied with me...or a companion, there for...are against me. As an Angel, you can't kill...any one unless directed to by God. So...if you have no further business here, Angel, then I suggest...you leave quietly." Reoan's left hand slid against her dagger, David must have left it on the bed after he pulled it out of her chest, she thought.

Lucifer looked down at the ex-Guardian crossly, something hidden behind his eyes that she couldn't see? It didn't matter. He and the Angel of Death needed to go if she was to talk to this Zodiac.

"Come Lucifer," Azrael suddenly spoke up. "Her time will come and we'll be here to collect her. We can catch up as we wait." Azrael tried not to smile, but the joy was so clear on his face.

"Yes, Morning Star, go with your brother." Reoan smiled wickedly as the Angel glared down at her.

Jacob was at the door the front door now, holding it open for the two angels. Azrael started towards the door, but Lucifer still refused to move. A sudden whisp of something moving could be heard and a slight thunk sounded afterwards. Every one turned towards the once Fallen Angel to see crimson red blood washing down his right grey wing.

"You!" Lucifer started as he pulled a large dagger from his tender wing. The Angel lunged towards the bed, dagger in hand and ready to strike down the ex-Guardian when something pulled on his wings. He growled slightly as he turned to see Jacob firmly holding them.

"Leave Morning Star!" Reoan hissed at him, clutching her chest. "You are no longer welcomed here!"

Lucifer sneered at the ex-Guardian and then looked over to Azrael, who stood waiting at the door. The Angel pulled himself free and started towards the door. He said nothing as he and Azrael left the motel.

Jacob turned back towards Reoan, knowing full well what she was going to say next. "I will take all your weapons with me." He said simply as he approached the Zodiac.

The Zodiac hesitated for a moment before giving his weapons to the Guardian. Jacob nodded his approval as he left the room, leaving the Zodiac and the weakened Reoan alone.

"What is your name?" Reoan closed her eyes as she tried to reposition herself.

"Kadar Romolac--."

"The Zodiac Sagittarius," Reoan's voice suddenly became harsh as breathing became difficult. "Sit."

Kadar nodded and took the chair that Jacob had once occupied.

"What do you want, Kadar Romolac?" Reoan reotated her head against the head-board and stared into his eyes.

A small glaze covered her dark irisis, and tears had stained her blood soaked face. Her hair was a scrambled mess and both arms were caked with dry blood. She was a mess.

Reoan noticed his gaze and spoke again. "I did this to myself." She said simply.

"Why?"

"All of my existance I've had to kill for some one or some thing. Always searching for a new victim, then trying to clear my skin of its painful memories." Reoan rolled her eyes back as she tried to focus.
