Zane took the wheel of the car and sped off while the army of shadows was temporarily blinded. In the back seat was an unconscious Raven leaning on Rubedo. Camilla was in the passenger front seat.

" So where to now dear Guardian?" Zane asked, looking in the rear view mirror as he sped along the dirt road that led to his house. The other car, driven by Kadar, was right behind him.

" To Japan," Rubedo replied sternly.

" You'd better have her awake when we board the plane. There's no a chance that they'll let an unconscious person on." Zane watched the Guardian curiously through the rear-vision mirror. Rubedo said nothing.

Zane sighed and looked over to Camilla for a moment.
" Looks like we're going to Japan huh?"
" Mm."
" What's wrong Miss Virgo?"
" Oh... nothing."

She didn't look like she was all right but Zane decided to let it rest.
" To the airport then!"
" I hate planes..." Rubedo grumbled in the back.

Raven was surrounded by a white light. She looked around. There was nothing to be seen.

What is this place? Where am I? Am I.... dead?

In the distance, a dark figure started walking towards her. It came closer... and closer. Raven then realised it was her grandfather. She stared wide-eyed at him.

" Gran... Grandfather...." she whispered hoarsely.
The old man smiled warmly at her.
" My my my, you have grown into a fine young woman lass. Look, you are even taller than me now."

Tears started leaking out of Raven's eyes. " Grandfather.... why... how... where?"

" You always asked too many questions lass. Anyhow, I see your powers have become stronger, and more helpful."

" Yes..."

" Hmm... you like that Guardian?"

" ..... Yes."

" Heh. You'd know what'd I'd say."

" Of course I would. You're a perverted old man."

Raven's grandfather chuckled. " Still haven't lost that edge of wit."

" I learnt from the best."

He chuckled again. " Well, the world needs you lass. Good seeing you again. Remember, I'm watching over you."

" Grandfather... wait!"

Before Raven could do anything, he had faded into the light. Raven hung her head.

Where the hell am I? Why am I here? Damn this interrogiation. I was never good at getting answers.

The white started to fade.

Raven woke in a still car. Her vision was blurry. She groaned. Damn it.... I fainted again.... I'm so hopeless. She looked outside and groaned. Another airport. She heard someone open the door behind her and sit in beside her.

" Raven..." came a familar voice. Raven looked over and saw the blurry figure of Rubedo.
" Mmm."
" Come on. We're going to Japan."

Raven groaned again as she was helped out of the car by Rubedo and they made their way to the check-in.

Sun streaked through the small canopy, lighting up the young girl's face. She was pleasantly sleeping in the cool European shade. Three angels stood just in hearing range, while a single Grigori sat quietly meditating next to the young girl.

"She's moved through her training rather quickly, Adoil." A sweet voice chimmed. Like a sweet morning dove cooing to its mate.

The girl stirred slightly and all the angels fell silent as they watched her settle back into slumber. The three drew their attention back to each other. Adoil stodd facing the young girl and the Grigori. On his right stood Ezeqeel with his massive body freckled with sun spots. One of his massive hands lay gently on the hilt of his board sword, the other was shoved into the depths of his slack's pocket. On Adoil's left stood the very heavenly figured, but small busted Padael. She wore a similar outfit as that of her two masculine counter-parts, both hands shoved in her slack's pockets.

"Her speed surpasses nearly all of the other students and her powers..." Padael continued.

"Incrediable!" Ezeqeel nearly shouted, both of his companions shot an aggressive expression towards him.

"What are you hiding from us, Adoil?" Padael asked when she noticed that Adoil wasn't really paying attention to the their conversation.

"She's just your average Guardian." Adoil answered, still not looking at Padael or Ezeqeel.

"Adoil?" Padael grabbed a hold of the angels arm and he retracted it quickly.

Ezeqeel took a few steps towards the fellow angel, a determined look on his face.

"I've been sent to watch over her from the very beginning of her existance. Her abilities grow stronger and stronger with each life she lives, along with her will to be free." Adoil said, still staring at the young girl sleeping soundly in the grass.

"Have you taught her this? You know if you did God --." Padael began to ramble.

"No." Adoil turned sharply to face her. "I did not teach her the independence she has found." He searched Padael's angelic face for a moment before bringing his eyes to the ground and slowly back up to the girl. "Fate has shown Reoan the gift of free will and the ability she has with a human body. I have not."

"I can see that." Ezeqeel suddenly answerd, Padael turning her attention towards him. "She trusts very easily and puts everything she has into every mission. An angel could not touch a Guardian that determination, not in a million lifetimes. But I fear that Fate and God have two completely different plans for this young soul."

Every one fell silent as the young Guardian stirred and slowy brought herself to sit up. She couldn't have been more than eight years old, so young and pure, but yet a blood thirsty killer. She had already seen more than any little girl should have at her age.

"Angels." The girl smiled upon seeing the three. The Grigori brought himself to the present and slowly stood up next to the massive tree.

"Afternoon Reoan." Padael smiled at the girl.

"We have a new mission for you, young Guardian." Ezeqeel stated, also with a smile upon his face.

Adoil stayed quiet as the two angels told the young girl the next man she had to hunt down and destroy before he reached a very valuable castle that God had invested himself in. The young Guardian took in every word carefully and was soon off to defeat her new foe.

"What do you think happened to Ben?" Amber asked as they made their way to the train station.

Reoan brought her head down and looked down at the young demoness. The girl had a worried look on her face, she had grown fond of the human. Reoan smiled lightly as she continued to follow behind Jacob and David.

"He'll find his way back to us." Reoan said.

"You think so?" Amber nearly shouted, not hiding her pleasure in the ex-Guardians statement.

"Yes." Reoan turned a pleasant smile to the girl.

Amber nearly jumped out of her shoes with joy as they boarded the train.

In the shadows lerked a figure that no human would be able to see unless he purposefully placed himself before them. His feathery white wings were hidden by some form of magic as he leaned up against a wall watching the various people wander about the frantic airport. His white grab would have stood out like a swore thumb being that it was designed some where in the victorian area with little ruffles at the cuffs and collar of his coat. He looked like a Artist formally known as Prince wanna be.

A massive wave of strong energy washed over him like a tidle wave, bringing his attention towards the front doors. A crowd of seven very different people walked into the massive lobby together. Each of them chattering about something, but he didn't care about all of them. There was only one he wanted to see.

He got up away from the wall and started towards the crowd. None of them could see him, maybe sense him, but their eyes failed to pick up his sight. He walked right through the center of them until he found Kadar. He suddenly materalized and grabbed the Zodiac's shoulders. The man tried to attack the overly white man, but failed at every attempt, his flesh slipping through his. The man drew Kadar from the group and into a bathroom.

"What do you want?" Kadar spat at the man that was slowly becoming more and more materalized. "Who are you?"

"I am the Hand of God, Adoil." The man replied softly.

"So you are the Angel Reoan is after."

Adoil avoided the Zodiac's eyes, "Yes. But that is of no importance here. I have come to tell you that sending Reoan back to Hell is going to do little to know good for this planet or those beyond it."

Kadar leaned up against a sink as Adoil locked the bathroom door and continued.

"She would only return to fight again until she sent every last Angel to judgement."

"But won't you all go to Heaven any how?"

"No. All our sins will be looked upon as if we were mortals. The fact that we were angels would hold no substance because far too many humans have claimed to have been angels, and some have been. No, all of us will be judged and just about all of us will be sent to Purgatory or worse...Hell. For we all had a helping hand in what Reoan has become and done. Especially myself."

"So you're telling me you're trying to protect your own skin?"

Adoil fell quiet.

OOC: Ok, you guys can do whatever you want with Adoil except kill him. Enjoy. Later.

'Pretty sneaky for an angel, aren't you?' Ben said, appearing behind the man and resting his arm over his shoulder, leaning on him. There was a gun in his hand.

'The human that was with Reoan?' Adoil asked, a bit confused, 'And now, with the Zodiacs?'

'Yeah,' Ben said, "I'm weird, like that.' He gave the angel a shove, spinning him around to look down the barrel of the gun.

'You have no reason to point that at me.' the angel said.

Ben shrugged, 'Reason? I don't need a reason.' he said.

'I just don't like you.' He cocked the hammer back. Adoil looked at him, critically.

'The most undisciplined human...' he began.

'Shut it.' Ben spat, 'At least I didn't kick somebody out of their own body so I could hit on some guardian. You call me undisciplined? Maybe, but at least I have some damn honor!'

He fired twice, planting a bullet in each one of the angel's wings. Adoil looked at him, understandably, shocked.

'How do you know about that?' he asked, 'You have never lived before...' He stopped as a look of recognition came over his face.

'C-caleb.' he managed to stammer, 'It can't be.'

'I know you know how to fight, angel.' Ben said, holstering his pistols and dropping down into a martial stance, 'Let's see what you got.'

'I will wipe you from the face of this world.' Adoil said as he fell into a simliar stance.

Ima protested, turning to Kariz, 'Shouldn't we do something?'

Kariz shrugged, 'It's his ass not mine. Besides, he wants to pick a fight with an Angel, let him.' Ima turned back to the other two.

'Are you out of your mind?' she asked.

'Probably.' they said, in unison.

They angel spread his wings and pushed, launching himself at Ben. He came straight with a right, catching Ben in the chin. He staggered backwards, spinning into a roundhouse kick that caught the angel in the stomach, doubling him over. They both staggered backwards, putting some space between them.

Ben wiped a bit of blood from his lip and gave Adoil a grin. The angel looked at him harshly before coughing. Something warm and wet hit his lip and his hand shot up. It came away with blood on it.

'What?' he asked, shocked again, 'I cannot bleed, I'm not a mortal.'

'Check again,' Ben shot back, pointing to something behind the angel, 'You need to pay a little more attention.'

Then, Adiol realized what Ben was pointing at. It wasn't something behind him, it was his wings...

...and the two bullet holes in them.

'You aren't gonna be able to pull any of that 'immortal' crap, for a while, with those, are you?' Ben chuckled.

Adoil smiled, 'You mortals are full of surprises, aren't you?' I half expected you had gone into this, knowing you could never win.'

'Never is a long time, angel.' Ben said, smirking, 'You should know.'

'Now, run away, like we both know you're going to.' Ben said.

'Until next time, mortal.' Adoil replied, 'We'll finish this, then.'

'Yeah,' Ben said, 'Next time.'

"Yeah," Ben said, "Next time."

Unexpectedly, something came crushing down on Ben. It was Kadar, who jump kicked right into Ben's shoulder with his foot. Ben had fell over instantly, unconscious.

"Bravo. Now, if the testosterone show is over, can we please try and catch that flight before security comes down here and arrests your ass?" Kariz pointed out. Everyone was surprised at Kadar's actions, including Adiol. Kadar checked Ben's pulse then stood up to face the angel. "I'm not done here," Kadar glared toward the others. "Everyone leave. This conversation is private."

"Private?! Don't even think that you are leaving us in the dark! AGAIN!" Ima stood in Kadar's way and looked up into his face, trying to keep eye level. His expression was at first blank, but as his head tilted toward her, it grew enraged and blood thirsty. As if it was intended as a death threat. Ima quickly moved back at the sudden change of pace.

'What kind of look is that?' Zane thought to himself. 'I can see an unfathomable deep inside of him.'

Daemond walked to the front of the group and helped Ima back to the group. His urgence was swift and avoiding at the same time. "Kadar and I will stay.." he began, but Kadar turned the look toward him. Daemond flinched. "We talk alone," Kadar said calmly. His face showed otherwise. Kadar suddenly put his hand on Adiol's shoulder and they suddenly dissapeared. Rubedo moved to where they were and dissapeared in the same fashion.

"What are we doing? Let's follow them!" Raven said. "No!" Daemond put his hand in her way. Raven was about to reject, but noticed the look on his face. It was the first expression that any of them had seen. It was the look of fear. Everyone awaited his answer. "Kadar has changed. Something happened when he met Reoan."

Daemond fell to one knee. "God! What has happened?" He put a trembling hand to his face. "Have we lost him?"

Zane's gaze fell onto the fear filled man. 'What could be so devastating as to make this man act this way?' he thought to himself.

Kariz ran out the door to go where Kadar had went to. "Where are you going, Kariz?" Ima had shouted after her.

=============================

Kadar and Adiol appeared on the roof of the building. Rubedo appeared soon after. Kadar jumped back away from the angel as soon as the transport was complete.

"Now that we are alone. Away from the other Zodiacs. We can finally talk freely," Kadar said as his face grew normal.

"Why do you not want them to be in this conversation?" Adiol questioned as he made a quick look to Rubedo, then his wounded wings.

"The questions I ask could very well endanger the one who follows Reoan," Kadar gave a quick look to Rubedo and back to Adiol. He then pointed to the guardian. "This man is not destined to end an apparent threat."

Adiol was somewhat confused with Kadar's words. "Why are you concerned with Reoan's followers?" he asked with coy. Kadar gave him a sneer. "Why do you ask a question that diverts from my point?"

The three men were silent. Rubedo and Adiol awaited an explanation.

"First off," Kadar started. "I already know that if we killed Reoan that it will do nothing. That is why I spared her. If she was sent to Hell then it will end nothing. Also if the reason to have Zodiacs is to end the war, then wouldn't it be rational to kill Reoan?"

"Well it would be.."

"I'm not finished!" Kadar interupted. His look grew stern. Rubedo listened intently.

"Since the war will rationally end if Reoan died, then it will be done. But since you say that it won't, then I have come to a conclusion. Before I reveal this, I have a couple more questions."

Adiol waited patiently. This human's intent was unreadable.

"As for her followers. The man, Jacob, he follows her out of love. That I understand. The grigori, he follows in loyalty. The girl..."

Rubedo was beginning to understand what he was getting at.

"...why the girl? She wants to follow and Reoan allows it."

Adiol's expression took notice to the Zodiac's lead. Rubedo was curious as to why Kadar would want to keep the information of a girl secret from the others.

"Her part in this is apparent to me. Which leads me to my conclusion.."

In the distance, Kariz had made her way to the roof to catch the last statement.

"..Is Reoan the true threat alone or is there something else?"

Adiol's posture had not changed. He took in this question and began to answer. "I am unsure of what you ask..but I will look into it. Since it has come from a Zodiac directly, I will handle it myself..To keep this follower safe." Adiol turned away.

She couldn?t believe Kadar. He had finally gone too far with his little ego trip. She waved a hand at Ima for her to stay there, and she started to climb up to the roof.

"...why the girl? She wants to follow and Reoan allows it."

"Her part in this is apparent to me. Which leads me to my conclusion.."

"..Is Reoan the true threat alone or is there something else?"

"I am unsure of what you ask...but I will look into it. Since it has come from a Zodiac directly, I will handle it myself. To keep this follower safe."

Adiol went off, the holes in his wings hampering his leaving.

?So, keep what follower safe??

Kadar and Rubedo turned to face her

?This doesn?t concern you Kariz, you shouldn?t hav??

?Oh no.? Kariz cut him off ?You don?t get to do that. Not now, not to me.
I am not some naive little five-year-old you get to lecture because they aren?t old enough to understand. You want to go off and save the world on your own? News flash, you?re not on your own here. You don?t want to work with the rest of us? Tuff luck.?

Kariz was walking toward him as she spoke. Rubedo was watching her with interest. Kadar seemed a little taken aback by her comments. ?I am damn sick of this egotistical bullshit Kadar. It needs to stop and it needs to stop now.?

?Well, I, uh?? Kadar had not been expecting this ?Look, I?m figuring out what?s going on here while you went out and collected the zodiac, I was saving time??

Kariz?s voice was calm and a little softer ?Yes. Then you come back, tell us only what you believe we need to know about what we should think and then you tell us what to do next.? Kariz raised an eyebrow at him.

He looked at her and his eyes changed from defensive to respectful. He nodded and a small smile formed on his lips.

?Damn dude, she just handed your balls to you?

Kariz turned and saw Ben standing on the roof behind her

'You're awake?' Kadar asked, 'That should've put you out for...'

'Yeah, shoulda, woulda, didn't.' Ben interrupted.

'Ok,' Kadar said, 'fine. I suppose you're gonna try and get some sort of revenge on me, now?'

Ben shrugged, 'Nah, that'd be too easy. I'm just gonna warn you. You ever do that, again and I'll personally crucify your ass, got it?'

'Like you...' Kadar stopped as a bullet whizzed by his head.

'What?' Ben asked, adjusting his aim to the other man's head, 'Just remember, I don't work for you and I'm not a Zodiac. You try shit like that with me and you're dead.'

(ooc: yep, short ass post, but i'm kinda tapped. we'll try for something a little longer tomorrow)

Deep inside...Rubedo couldn't help but laugh...Kariz took the words right out of his mouth...such ego...little did Kadar nor anyone else knew was that it was he who started this world war, only Raven knew that.

Watching Kariz tear into Kadar, and then soon after witnessing Ben shooting at Kadar with a warning shot...least some people had some common sense. No one really took notice of him as he paced around them...watching them bicker and fight. Adiol was already far gone...there wasn't any point in following him, Rubedo knew that he would probably be seeing him soon.

What now master...now what......something other than Reoan is at the source of this madness...these Zodiac gallop around like gazelle, unaware of the prey that stalks them...I feel so lost...

This whole situation looked like dabs of color upon a canvas. Looking upon it...you only see pieces and fragments of the larger picture...there is something far greater at work here then we originally anticipated. Rubedo saw this...something wasn't right...

"Stop..." finally spoke Rubedo as he walked up from behind Kadar, Ben's gun was still drawn, pointing at Kadar's forehead as he saw Rubedo approaching. Kariz was at Ben's side pulling at his sleeve to stop.

"So...he finally speaks." declared Ben as he quickly withdrew his weapon from sight. Kadar turned around as well in surprise...

Kariz could see a seriousness in Rubedo's eyes as he approached...his walk was smooth...almost like a glide as he drew near. But as always...he eyes gave it all away...something important was on his mind.

"Rubedo..." trusting that he was the only one who had a calm head in this entire situation..."what do we do now?" she finally asked. Rubedo stopped beside Kadar as they all looked at one another in a circle.

"We continue as planned...the plane will be leaving soon for Japan...the sooner we get all you Zodiac together the better."

"Oh..." Ben suddenly finding some kind of manners as he looked upon the Guardian..."thank you for everything that you did for me before at Zane's...I..."

Rubedo quickly waved off the appreciation with his hand..."don't worry about it..." Ben nodded in approval at the gesture...

"So shall we be off then...Ima is waiting below for us." she quickly shot a glance at Kadar in discust...''and I expect some answers from you Kadar...for everyone to hear." she added as Ben and her turned to leave. Kadar began to follow, obviously pondering at the words that had just been spoken in those few minutes as Rubedo quickly stretched out his right arm in front of Kadar's chest blocking him from moving forward.

"We'll join you shortly Kariz...I have a few words to say to the Sagittarius." his eyes were directly upon Kariz. She looked back at him...knowing that she could trust him...his physical appearance always seemed unchanging, like the rock of a mountain. Those eyes however, with his red hair hanging over them revieling his big golden eyes piercing straight to her very being..showing her his need...

"Alright Rubedo...lets go Ben." Kariz grabbed his arm, leading him away from the two. He hesitated to leave for a moment...but decided to listen and followed Kariz down to Ima.

Once they were out of sight Kadar quickly brushed Rubedo's right arm only to be thrust into his throat by Rubedo's left hand as he turned to face him. Lifting Kadar easily up into the air, Rubedo firmly pressed his thumb into the Zodiac's throat, not allowing him to talk nor breathe.

"The next time you disrespect me in that manor again...I will kill you...do you understand..." Rubedo's eyes burned...that same flame that had once healed Kadar suddenly burst to life withing Rubedo as his grasp around his throat intensified. "Do not forget who I am...nor who walks among you."

Death was imminant...Rubedo wanted to just rip the mans vocal cords out...the poison..the foolishness...it discusted him. Kadar simply nodded and was quickly thrown as his body slid across the rooftop.

As Kadar rose to his feet, rubbing his acking neck Rubedo swiftly appeared before him, arms crossed...the flame within was already gone...

"I hope you listened to Kariz word's Kadar...I really do hope for your sake." Rubedo's voice had a sense of compassion behind it, but at the same time a firmness to it.

"What would you know Guardian..." Kadar gaining his composure...the pulsing from the pain in his neck could still be felt...but bearable. "You're not even ment to be a part of all this...we Zodiac are the ones who will bring balance to this...we are the ones to bear this..."

Rubedo chuckled to himself...the Zodiac's arrogance was incredible..."where is this we Kadar...all I hear or see is you. I'm not as blind as the rest...and Kariz certainly isn't either by your deception. The mind games...leaving your fellow Zodiac in the dark to what you may know. Do you see yourself as something special simply because you let Reoan live...let alone survive an encounter with her."

Kadar was silent...

"You know nothing Zodiac...especially nothing about me, nothing of burden at all...who do you think started this little war..." Rubedo figured that this was the best time to bring it all out...

Kadar looked up at the Guardian in surprise...and yet a sense of rage filled within him...

"So you're the one who caused all this!" Kadar screamed as he reached for his sword. Rubedo simply stood there and shook his head...

"And who do you think told me to kill those men Kadar...hhhmmmm?" Kadar quickly stopped his preperation...holding his ground...but well in tuned to listen to Rubedo talk.

"She came to me...promising me something new...do you think I felt any honor in killing those men...or to know that I have started this world war?"

Kadar stood up straight, stopping his intentions...this was the first time the Guardian had spoken. His words felt just as persuasive and sublime as Reoans.

"You haven't lived as long as me and Reoan have Zodiac...reincarnation or not...you are not a Guardian...you are a Zodiac. You may know much...but not of our purpose. We are as slaves...from birth we are trained to kill...to protect a cause which was never our own. You may have felt something from Reoan...it is as plain as day upon your face. And you feel that nothing will come from killing her now, that maybe she should carry out her so called crusade...that justice must be brought down upon those who have wronged her. And God knowing...she's been through worse than hell itself...God willing...I agree with you..."

This caught Kadar offguard...what was the reason for this Guardian following the Zodiac around anyway...

"Will it comfort you more to know that I have slayed one of the angels which Reoan seeks?"

Kadar's eye twitched...knowing now the information this Guardian was giving him. This man was certainly hiding a great deal about himself...

"God kills indiscriminatly....as do we Guardians....bringing to justice what was told of us to bring...but now...me and her are free. My master as set me free...and Reoan is bound no more to the depths of hell. One thing we have always been taught...is to do...what is in our nature to do. And Reoan is doing exactly what she has been taught to do for centuries...to kill."

"Whether you Zodiacs kill her now or not does not matter...lives will be lost...you seem so willing to sacrifice the lives of others to bring your so called balance. There is no such thing...never will it be till everything in this world is dead...is that what you want!?" Rubedo's voice was harsh...it was echoing all around him which caused Kadar to take a step back.

"There are no more heroes in the world anymore Kadar! Do you see Reoan running around alone...NO!...she's not so foolish to do such a thing. Even now she travels with those who care for her and her cause...nearly at the verge of death till that who loved her brought her back. That's why they call you The Zodiac...not whole without the rest. And if you keep to alienate them all...you'll lose...and your cause whichever it may be will be lost."

Kadar was silent for a moment...taking in everything the Guardian was saying...

"I've seen entire empires, kingdoms, governments crumble because of such insolance..."

"Then why do you do it..." asked Kadar out of the blue..."why do you fight?"

This was the question that Albedo had been preparing him for...breaking his bonds...could he answer...

Rubedo's appearance softened, knowing that more conflict would only make things worse...

"I do not yet know my purpose in this...fate has not yet dawned on my path in this darkness...but you Kadar...you are a Zodiac...destined to bring balance. But you're not alone...and you must have the other Zodiac's to accomplish this...you say that it is only for you all to bear...but do not be blind not too see that it is for you all to bear...and not only yourself. And if you can't accept that...then you're a fool, and quite selfish."

"So what am I to do then?" responded Kadar...obviously broken...

"Teach them...show them what it is to truly be a Zodiac. You're strong and knowledgable of your abilities...they all are compentant and worthy to learn the same...knowing what you do know comes responsibility...they need you...just as much as you need them. If you decieve them, and continue to mislead them...you're no better than the angels that Reoan now hunts."

Kadar understood this and nodded as Rubedo finally let his arms down to his side...

"Now please...join the others...you have much to explain...I'm sure Kariz and Ben are already speaking with the others..."

"You're coming aren't you?" questioned Kadar...quickly showing a respect for the Guardian...whether he completely agreed with him or not.

"In a moment..." and that was all he said as he turned his back to Kadar. Knowing that he wouldn't get anything else from him...Kadar made his way back to the others...

"Bravo...bravo..." clapped Albedo as he materalized behind Rubedo as Kadar got out of sight. "Finally...someone had the nerve to tell that Zodiac....you've learned quite a lot these past couple of days Rubedo."

"I've learned nothing Albedo...they at least know what to do...or at least some form of purpose. Why don't you tell them these things...why must I do this?"

"It's not my place..." responded Albedo..."you ask questions to which I cannot give you...you know the will of God...it is unknown...you must be patient...your path will soon be revieled."

"So I must put up with this nonsense." snapped Rubedo as he clutched his fists...the flame within was burning slowly now...its glow could be seen through his trenchcoat as Albedo walked towards him, placing a hand on his shoulder as he turned Rubedo to face him."

"This wont always be so...soon they wont have to be watched over like they are now. Once they are all together...I'm sure much more of this little game will be revieled...but please calm yourself...you don't want to what happened all those years ago to happen again now do you..." Albedo placed a firm hand upon Rubedo as a cooling sensation shot through his entire being, subsiding the flames instantly.

"Do you know what Kadar ment...saying that Reoan may not be at the center of all this....I don't understand...wasn't I the one who killed those men for her...setting all this into motion."

"Now now Rubedo..." as Albedo now put both his hands on Rubedo's shoulder...Rubedo's patience was growing thin...if it were up to him, he and the other Guardians would seek out and kill everything without question to uncover this mystery...

"We mustn't rush into any assumptions...patience my friend...patience...be aware that you are still hunted. If Adiol came alone to meet with the Zodiacs, then his angels must not see Reoan's presense as a real threat to them yet. They fear her...but only to a point. When you arrive to Japan...another angel will there waiting for you...as well as more forces of darkness..."

"Thank you for your concern Albedo..." Rubedo embraced him like a brother quickly and then let go.

"Stay with them Rubedo...the answers are coming...now that Kadar has hopefully gotten the message, the Zodiac will become stronger...then you can focus more on yourself and your purpose in this game...keep a keen eye on this human who accompanies you. God has a plan for all of us in this...even if he is the one in danger."

Albedo could see it in his pupils eyes that he couldn't bear waiting anymore...but something inside seemed to be calming him......Raven...

Rubedo simply nodded and walked away to the edge of the rooftop where he leaped down to meet up with the others.

All that could be heard was the chuckling of Albedo, watching his pupil leave...

Zane, Daemond, Camilla and Raven had arrived at the gate. It was still too early for the flight, so they found a few open seats and sat down. Ima, Kariz, and Ben shortly arrived.

"So where's Kadar and Rubedo?" Raven addressed to Kariz, who was the first to arrive and sit down. "They're having a little talk. And when they show up, Kadar has a few things to tell us." She was very uptight, yet at ease with her words. Ben and Ima sat down as well, they were unusually silent. Zane and Raven both noticed that Ben appeared more smug.

"May I ask as to why Rubedo wished to speak to Kadar alone?" Daemond suddenly spoke. "Wait for him to show and you wil get your answer," Ben answered without shifting his position in the slightest.

Minutes later, Zane looked down the lobby to see Kadar's approach. He noticed something odd about the man's aura. It looked as if he was sick. Not physically, but in a mental way. Rubedo spoke his piece to Kadar.

Before anyone could say a word, Kadar rose his hand. The look on his face was plain and emotionless. "Everyone, I am ready to tell you everything. About the conversation with Adiol. About what my intentions are. Everything."

Daemond abruptly stood up and walked over to where Kadar stood. He stopped next to Kadar, facing the opposite direction. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. "Did you get what you wanted? Are you satisfied with the result?" Daemond began to walk away. "Where are you going?" Camilla asked, standing up from her seat. Daemond did not stop, but continued his pace.

"I'm going home. I can't maintain my anger around you all, anymore." He dissapeared into the crowd of passerby and wa gone.

"What did he mean by that?" Ben made a look toward Kadar, who still remained still. He then sat down and put his face into his hands. He then looked at the faces of every individual and took account of every single one.

"I have caused him pain in the past," Kadar spoke softly and slowly. "Unfortunately, I do not know how I did."

"That isn't rational! How could you have done something so horrible that he won't even tell you what you did?!" Raven shot at Kadar. Even she was becoming impatient at this man's actions.

"I will not avoid your questions anymore. To be honest, I know what I did, but the how is unfathomable. A rage that hurts not, but spares not."

Ima didn't know how, but she knew exactly what Kadar was talking about. "The Creeping Resonance?"

Kadar looked toward her direction. "That is what the demons call, but in reality, it is nothing more than reasonless function of the psyche. But that is not what we are talking about. We are talking about what I have been hiding."

"Continue then," Zane urged. He didn't want to have Kadar talk about something that he wasn't comfortable talking about.

"You see," Kadar spoke more firmly. "I don't think Reoan isn't the only problem. There is something more than meets the eye." Silence. "We keep the balance. But to keep the balance we must work together. I have proven time and again that I didn't keep to this. I was wrong."

Kadar stood up and walked to the window. Everyone's gaze followed him as he put his hand to the glass. "I have learned from my mistakes. I only wished for the safety of everyone, but have realized that I cannot do this alone..Will you forgive an idiot for not being fair?"

"OF COURSE, STUPID!" Camilla stood up. "Just because you made some mistakes that would most likely bite us in the ass later, doesn't mean that we won't be able to cover eachother no matter how unfair our decisions were. Just as long as we learn from them." Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Well put. But there are still a few things that are unclear. I'm sure we all still have questions that still linger," Kariz explained.

"Of course. No more secrets!" Kadar turned around and gave everyone the usual sneer. He was back to his old self. "From now on we are a team! A whole team!" He then gave a shocked look to everyone. "Uh..minus a couple Zodiacs.." He then laughed out loud.

Just then the intercom went on and announced the flight to Japan.

"Right! That's our flight. Let's get to Japan already," Kadar said as he hiked up his travel bag.

Everyone agreed and followed suit. "There is one ass in mind that I would like to cover," Ben remarked as he stole a glance to Kariz. "God you are hopeless!"

Zane was the last to follow the others as they all entered the gate. No one noticed what he did. Kadar is acting fine, but the sick aura from him told otherwise.

============================

Just outside, Daemond appeared and contemplated a few things. Rubedo was making his way to meet with the others and heard everything. "So you run like a coward. Not facing your fears will help you continue your descent to denial," Rubedo calmy stated.

Daemond turned his way and they looked deep into eachother's eyes. "You will soon find out why Kadar wishes to prove that he is different than the image his past lives have placed apon him. Kadar Romalac may seem high of himself, but you have apparently missed the point he had proved of you and your God-forsaking master. He got exactly what he wanted from you." Daemond turned away and walked.

"You speak of balance being nothing, then saying all those things of what Kadar should help maintain. It sickens me as to what you think of as leaving who in the dark. You are left in the dark gaurdian." Rubedo did not care for this simple human's words. They were the words of one so immature.

"Do you want to know what Kadar had told me once over the grave of his lover? He said this, 'Hypocrites! All of them! They preech what they do not follow! Only the right justice can show all of their cowardice! The justice of a broken man who feels no regret to what has happened in the past!' Those were his words."

Daemond walked up to the gaurdian. The intensity of this man was different than a normal human's. "Never say that Kadar knows nothing of burden! You will regret those words and finally experience what even Satan himself has feared!"

"One other thing. Say hi to Albedo for me next time you see him." With that, Daemond evaporated into nothing.

Watching Daemond fade away...Rubedo could only shake his head and sigh...such petty drama...

You think you know so much Daemond...and yet you weren't even there...putting words in my mouth..."Balance being nothing..." why the hell would you even exist then if it was so? Do not speak of things that you know nothing of nor comprehend...nor assume what you think me and Kadar spoke. Do I think balance and true peace can be obtained in our realms...no? As long as heaven and hell exist...and powers of good and evil that bind us to this place...there will always be conflict. Yet we will continue to persue that hope...why...well Zodiac...that's a question we all ask ourselves.

Rubedo finally turned away from the area which Daemond dissapeared into and began to walk towards the airport.

Did mentioning my former masters name supposed to frighten or stir me Daemond...seriously...it's sad how quickly you humans comes to judgement. You know nothing of me...nor the life that us Guardians lead; what we've endured...what I have lost. How quickly you assume... How easily you speak of Lucifer...I've met him once before...been there...done that. You don't find me using my pain as a crutch to gain sympathy...an excuse...no

Finally arriving at the gate number to the trip to Rubedo...he handed a young lady his ticket and entered as the doors shut behind him.

"I hope Raven brought my weapons on board with her...and hopefully no one else had any problems." he muttered underneathe his breathe as he approached the craft.

What to do....what to do......Here in this moment...I have no master...disconnected from the angel Albedo who dwells among the living, and the God that hovers above...what to do.....what to do...

Upon entering the airplane, everyone took notice of him...and the other Zodiacs motioned for him to join them in their seats. Kadar turned from his gaze outside the window and turned towards him. His face seemed calm, but obviously still wandering in his broken thoughts. Rubedo returned the glance, bowing slightly with honor and respect as he acknowledged everyone else.

"Did you get the answers which you all required" asked Rubedo to the group.

"Somewhat Rubedo...Kadar appears to be a little more open...but not everything has been answered yet...but they'll come." Kariz responded.

"What did you say to him anyway?' added Camilla in curiosity.

"I said what needed to be said Camilla...nothing more...nothing less. Don't worry...I'm sure a lot will be falling into place soon." he responded

"I'm just happy we're all on the same page again...finally a team" Zane leaned back in his chair and tried to relax.

"Except now for Daemond, and the remaing Zodiac" Kadar mentioned the same joke he had before, everyone chuckled again as Rubedo turned around and smiled in approval.

Glancing to the other side of the plane, Rubedo saw Raven sitting by herself next to the wall, she looked grim and weary as she looked outside the window. A loudspeaker was suddenly heard from above their heads coming from the pilots cabinet.

"Ladie and Gentlemen...Ladies and Gentlemen...we will be making our way to Tokyo, Japan in just a few moments...please take your seats and buckle up."

Everyone took their own seats as Rubedo made his way to Raven's side. He kissed her on the forehead as he took his seat beside her...

"how are you feeling?"

OOC: Hey, just to let everyone know, I finally found out that movie that I was thinking of when designing Hiroko's house. So if you've seen the movie Tonari no Totoro, that's what the house and bathroom would look like. I can't find any pictures of it though, gomendasai :animeblus

Another day of training. Yasuo thought as he lay in bed, waiting for the sleep to leave his eyes and limbs. His rib stung him again as he took a breath. He ran his hand across the bandages and rest it ontop of the rib that hurt. After a moment of trying to concentrate on other thoughts and block out his pain, Yasuo moved the sheets off of his body, sitting up in bed. Placing his feet on the floor, he took a second before standing up and brushing his hair from his face.

Yasuo walked with his elbows close to his body to help relieve some of the pain of his rib. He walked into the bathroom. It was a traditional Japanese bathroom, with the giant tub on the side of the room. Removing the pants that Yasuo slept in, and his boxers, Yasuo then began to unravel his bandages on his chest. The painful process took a while, and relieved the young man when he was lathering himself up.

After Yasuo had bathed, he had gotten into a fresh change of clothes, which included a pair of blue jeans and a plain, white tank top. Grabbing the blades that Yasuo had become accustomed to he strapped them to either thigh. Hiroko was still sound asleep. Perhaps six o'clock was still too early for most.

Silently slipping out of the traditional Japanese household, Yasuo made his way to the small forest that he favored for his training ground. Walking through the garden out back and over the pond with the countless flashes of orange and white swimming below, he opened the rear gate and walked through, shutting it behind him.

As Yasuo reached the edge of the forest, only fifty or so yards from the house, he found his favorite of the trees. Laying his weapons down in front of him, he sat cross legged at the base, and began to clear his mind of all thoughts. Focusing on the rustling of the trees, and the cool breeze. Flashes of Oni appeared. The ugly beast's quick movements. His rib flared for a moment and subsided. The smell of his mother's blood entered his nostrils. The look of fright on his sister as he chased her down to save her, then the vision of Hiroko when Yasuo first saw her in the hospital...

As she entered the room, Yasuo could immediately feel her presence. He opened his one good eye to look upon her. She avoided his glance and stayed at the opposite end of the room. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Kenji shut the door so Hiroko could be alone with him. The awkwardness and pain filled the air to an unbearable level. Hiroko's lip was a little bloodied and her left eye swollen and bruised a little. Behind the wounds she still looked as beautiful as ever. He wanted to smile at the sight of her, but something inside gave him the feeling that he shouldn't...

They stayed there in complete silence for a long while, neither of them speaking a word. Until she decided to speak up, "Do you remember anything?" she whispered in Japanese. With a slow shake of his head that made his head throb even more so than before another silence settled in. Hiroko continued to stay at the far side of the room, her arms crossed, hunching a little. How he longed to just enbrace her. "I'm sorry," nearly escaped his lips...

"I'm sorry..." Yasuo whispered to the wind. Unexpectedly, it responded...

"So much pain filters through your voice, my child. Why does one so young bleed so terribly?" The soothing voice spoke in perfect Japanese, startling Yasuo only because it was so sudden and out of the blue. He had heard no one walk up to him, and this voice sounded so close, he could almost feel them right next to him...

Yasuo lunged forward for one of his blades. His fingers felt only the grass and dirt where his weapons once layed.

"Are you looking for these?" The stranger draped a handle over Yasuo's shoulder. The boy turned, and looked to his right. Leaning against the very same tree he was, stood the stranger. An angelic face returned a warm and welcoming smile.

"Who are you?" Yasuo asked calmly, slowly taking the handle that adorned his right shoulder. Then grasping the other that his new friend handed him in the same fashion.

"I am Sartael, a creature created by God. Do you not recognize me?" The angel's tone was slightly playful, but still extremely respectful.

Yasuo rose to his feet and sheathed his weapons. "There is no God." Yasuo said, never looking away from Sartael's gaze. He stood strong with his hands by his sides, ignoring the pain from his chest.

The angel's eyes grew wide as she reached for her nearly flat chest. "How can you say such hurtful words? Is the presence of an angel not enough proof for you?" With that, Sartael turned to face Yasuo completely, spreading her wings slightly to back up her words.

Yasuo was taken back by this gesture. He calmed his nerves and spoke, "What's to say you aren't a demon? There is nothing in this world to lead me to believe your words, 'angel'." He spoke mockingly towards this beautiful creature. Something tore at his chest fiercely and he struggled internally to contain it.

"I assure you that I am not a demon, Yasuo." The angel spoke, seeing the boy's pain through his eyes. "Allow me to show you." The angel stepped forward and placed a gentle hand on the boy's ribs. He tried to pull away, but found that he could not. A warmth began to grow inside of him, slowly washing over his pain. It all happened so quickly and before Yasuo knew what happened, the angel stood smiling before him.

The pain in his chest had been vanquished, and Yasuo moved freely. Stretching his chest back he asked under his breath, "How?"

"My dear boy, I am an angel. We have been given many gifts to help God's most valued creation." The angel smiled brightly. Still awestrucken, Yasuo stared into Sartael's eyes. He saw no lies or deception. He felt calm, at peace. Could she truly be an angel?

Thoughts of the past flooded Yasuo's thoughts, drowning any pleasure he once had. "Then why now? Why reveal yourself to me now? Why weren't you there when I needed God? Wh- ..." Yasuo trailed off, ending his senseless ramble and shaking his head and clenching his fist.

"Ah, you question God now, Yasuo. You did not then." Yasuo shot an angry glare the angel's way. She continued, "Besides, the Zodiac come and they all could use a friendly face." The angel still maintained a pleasant smile despite Yasuo's outburst.

"Zodiac?"

The angel ran her fingers through her heavenly hair and sighed. "I have forgotten that you do not know what you are."

Deep down Yasuo understood her words, but the meaning escaped his grasp every time he tried to obtain it from within himself. The image of the ugly beast, Oni entered his mind. Hatred washed over him, the memories still fresh. "So what am I, angel?"

"You, Yasuo, are a Zodiac. A human given the ability to keep the balance. You have already experienced this with your shadow abilities and your transformation."

The words stung his heart. She knew... She may be the real deal. "How can such dark powers be of any use to your God?" He continued, "and again, why now? Why not before my mother died, before Hiroko..." He shook his head again. "God has forsaken me. What balance is there to keep when one so tormented must keep it?"

"There must be dark to have light, Yasuo." Sartael reached for the young boy's face. He was hesitant, but allowed it. Her fingers were warm to his skin, and soothing to his heart. "That is part of the balance. God has tested you and you were the one to fail him. Your misguided torment will bring new light to the Zodiac and they will bring you a new reason for life."

These words comforted him somehow. Yasuo closed his eyes and inhaled, letting go of his pain and anger. Sartael leaned in and embraced the boy. He stood strong, yet on the inside, he could feel himself begin to melt.

Hearing footsteps behind him, Yasuo's eyes sprung open. He no longer looked upon the angel. Her embrace had faded, and he turned to look upon Hiroko, walking towards him only a few yards away.

"I thought you weren't going to do this until your chest healed, Yasuo." She stood very motherly.

"I'm fine." He said, looking up towards the sky. How he longed to look at the stars...

Camilla took her seat on the plane, sitting next to Zane. She had kept reasonable silent since her outburst at Zane?s place. She put her finger to her temples, she had a terrible headache and couldn?t seem to get rid of it. She felt the plane start to take off. She gripped the seat handles. She hated flying.

As the plane leveled she let out a breath of relief. Grabbing a magazine from the seat in front of her she opened it open. It would be a couple hour flights and she wasn?t really in the mood to talk to anyone. She rubbed her temple again. Should have taken something. She thought to herself. Flipping through the book she glanced over a couple of article, most where about the war. She looked at the latest fashion and decided what she needed to get and what she didn?t.

The flight attendant came by and she shook her head that she wouldn?t like anything. She went back to reading her paper. Zane was looking out the window off in his own thoughts. Camilla flipped a few pages and there was she and Jane. They where modeling some wedding outfits, she smiled. She remembers that shoot. It was one of her worse. Jane had been teasing her the whole time. Camilla really missed Jane and her crazy antics that got the two of them in trouble. She closed the magazine and sighed.

She pulled her shirt down that had begun to rise up. In the airport Camilla changed out of her dressed and threw on a comfier pair of pants and T-shirt. Maybe I should get some rest. That always helps a headache. Besides it will make the flight shorter. She leaned her head back and tried to get comfy. Planes where not the easiest place to sleep.

As she shuffled in her seat to get comfortable her thoughts drifted to her birds. She hoped Jane remember to feed them. She was never good at remembering things. I wonder what animal I transform into. Hopeful something cool and pretty. The way Kadar became a unicorn was beautiful. It still surprised her that his hair colour was natural. It not everyday you met someone with that hair colour. Many people think hers was natural but it isn?t. Camilla has been dying her hair blue since she was ten. Camilla called it her trademark. She couldn?t even remember her natural colour. With success she final found a spot comfy enough to fall asleep.

Raven's weary eyes widened at the touch of Rubedo's lips on her forehead. Her heart fluttered slightly. She turned to Rubedo.

" How are you feeling?" he asked emotionless, but Raven could have sworn there was a hint of concern in the voice, possibily even care. This cofused her but she was too exhausted to feel any emotions at this moment, nor argue.

" Very tired... mentally, physically...... emotionally...." she said softly, looking out of the window, avoiding his gaze. Rubedo nodded once.

" You've used too much energy in the past two days. You have to rest."

" Is that concern I hear coming from you Rubedo?" Raven snapped slightly.

" You need to rest for the sake of the Zodiacs," Rubedo replied shortly.

Raven sighed. She shouldn't have done that. " Sorry."

Rubedo stayed silent. Raven resolved that he was angry at her. Sighing again, she snuggled the best she could into the seat. She closed her eyes and tried to rest, or even sleep if it was possible. Soon, the peaceful state of sleep washed over her.

-----------------------------

Zane watched Camilla curiously as she tried to sleep. Obviously she wasn't comfortable in planes. The way she gripped onto the seat as they took off showed him that much. He didn't need his abilities to see that.

Looking around the plane, Zane saw Ima and Kariz sitting with each other, talking amongst themselves. They were in the seats behind he and Camilla. He turned to them, smiling.

" Now what are you two happily chatting about? You should be resting," Zane said, looking at them with his piercing blue eyes.
" We're just talking about what will happen in Japan," said Ima.
" Ah."
" I'm concerned about the crisis we have on our hands," Kariz said seriously. " How are we supposed to stop these powerful world governments from wiping each other off the face of the earth? What are we supposed to tell them?"
" I agree. We are at a loss for an explanation of ourselves. No one would believe the truth unless we show them. Then, as human nature is, we will be shunned as freaks or something to that accord, probably arrested for being a danger to the public and experimented on like lab animals," Zane reeled off.

Ima and Kariz did not look impressed.
" Thanks for the moral booster," Ima said sarcastically.
Zane smiled, embarassed. " Sorry about that. Got carried away."
" But you do have a point," Kariz said, that worried look on her face.
" The painful truth," Zane said softly. He looked concerned himself, but then he smiled at the two women. " I think that's enough worrying for now. You two need your rest. Everyone does."
The two nodded and tried their best to make themselves comfortable.

Zane looked over to Kadar who looked like he was deep in thought. Rubedo's harsh but true words had rattled the man - rattling him enough to devulge what information he had to the group. Zane was thankful for Rubedo's actions. He and Rubedo were thinking along the same lines, but Rubedo had beaten him to it. He decided to leave Kadar to his thoughts, even though Zane could see them clearly in his own head. Cursing about his gift to himself softly, he moved around in his seat, making himself comfortable.

His gaze then diverted to Raven and Rubedo. Zane watched curiously as Rubedo moved Raven's head off the hard seat to his shoulder, obviously asleep. A smile came to Zane's lips. This journey was going to be an interesting one.

The night air was cool and the after math of the small storm could still be seen in the historical streets of Spain. Reoan, Amber, Jacob and David had spent what seemed like eternity traveling through France. Secruity continued to increase and getting their illegal luggage through the gates was posing more and more of a problem.

The group made their way through the quiet streets, no one daring to speak. David was leading them through the back alleys of Madrid. Reoan followed swiftly behind as Amber and Jacob brought up the rear. The young demoness had stopped her cute little flirty antics with the Guardian after watching what had transpired the night Reoan had tried to take her life. Amber didn't know why, but she knew that no matter how hard she tried she was never going to have all of Jacob's attention, and a part of her was glad.

David took a few lefts before coming to stand at a small wooden door. The others waited quietly across the alley-way as David knocked on the door.

"Hola. Que quiere ested?" came a rough masculine voice.

"Es David. Vengo llevando un regalo, su nombre es Reoan," came David's familiar voice.

"Es David! Es David con Reoan!" There was a loud commotion as the wooden door swung open.

The massive half Grigori turned towards the group and motioned for them to follow. Each of them looked at each other before following behind their companion. The large flat was alive with chaos, but most of it seemed joyous. Reoan stayed hidden between David, Jacob and Amber as they made their way through the very small hallways and flights of stairs.

The flat was alive with the mixed dialect of spanish and english, women and children, men both young and old. The noise and chaos reminded Reoan of Hell, but something was different. It was the splender and joy that flowed through the building, not hatred and pain.

Seven flights up and a long hallway before David walked into one of the small apartments. An older, man some where around his late 50s, came up and embrassed the massive man. A woman, in her early 30s, and two young boys also came up to embrace the Grigori half-breed.

"Es Reoan?" The woman asked, nodding towards the young woman standing just slightly behind the Grigori.

"Si, no hable espanol." David replied to the woman.

The woman smiled and approached Reoan. She motioned for the boys to take the travellers' things. The woman reached out and took a hold of Reoan's hands firmly. She continued to stare into Reoan's dark and expressionless eyes.

"Me nombre Isabel." The woman stated softly.

Reoan said nothing, just continued to watch her.

"I am David's mother." She smiled brightly. "If I had known...that David would...find you...and become a part of....what you stand for." The woman paused for a bit longer than usually. Probably trying to find the english words to go with whatever thought she had. "I would have given you more of him."

Reoan stayed silent and the ex-Guardian's reaction made the woman nervous. She hesitated at first and then stepped back. She looked at her son and then the older man.

"Did you honestly think that I would be some lovable and gentle creature?" Reoan snarled at the woman. The older man stepped towards the woman as the children came running into the room. The woman gathered them into her arms.

David looked down at Reoan, his expression unreadable along with Jacob and Amber's.

"I've lived in Hell of centuries while you precious little humans multiplied on this Earth, creating technology that helps destory it more and more each day. You manuplate everything around you and yet, God lets you into Heaven. Forgiven for all your damned sins." Reoan growled stepping forward, causing the family to step back. "I don't create change out of the goodness of my heart. I do it because I want justice for those that have wronged me since no one else will do it for me!" Reoan turned sharply from them all and left the apartment.

As she made her way through the hallways and up the flight of stairs, people reached out to touch her. Praising her in their spanish tongue. There were whistles, hoots and hollars as she finally broke through to the top of the building. She dashed across the roof top and barely stopped at the edge of the building.

"I don't understand, Jacob." Reoan said aloud as the Guardian opened the door and walked out onto the roof top. "These humans, they don't understand what I stand for but yet they praise me. They will give anything to help me succeed in killing their precious Angels they worship so dearly."

Jacob slid a firm hand along her back and across her mid-section as he brought the other up her back and over her shoulders. He pulled her against his firm body, his warmth and energy swirling over her skin as he held her there. She laid her head back and nuzzled it perfectly between his neck, face and shoulder. At first glance one would think they were lovers, but their bond was beyond physical desire and worldly pleasures.

"Because what you strive for is something so many have longed to do, but never had the strength or courage." Jacob whispered into her ear as they both stared across the rooftops of Madrid.

"But I am no stronger than any of you...I..." Reoan tried to pull away, but Jacob held her close to him.

"Its not your physical strength that they admir, Reoan. You fight against our creator. You fight for what you believe in and you won't have anything stand in your way, not even death."

Reoan fell silent, unable to find the words to counter Jacob's.

Most of the Zodiac were asleep when the angel slowly made his way down the isle. Zane was the first to notice him. The Pisces motioned to wake Camilla, but Adoil placed a finger to his lips. The young man looked at the heavenly creature for a moment and decided that it was best to let her sleep.

"I do not come to hunt you or create trouble, healer." Adoil said as he walked up to the Zodiac. The man nodded. "I only wish to speak to the Sagittarius, he had sent me on a request and I am here to deliever my information. If--." Adoil said before Zane could say anything. "He so desires to tell you, then so be it. But my words are for his ears only."

Adoil walked past him and the others and over to Kadar. The angel gracefully perched himself upon the back of the passanger seat in front of the Zodiac, strangely enough both the seat owner and Ben were asleep.

"Hello Kadar." Adoil said softly, nothing more than a whisper, but the Zodiac could hear it clearly. He brought his head over to look at the angel.

"I have--" just as the words left the angel's lips the whole plane shook violently. Every one that was asleep was now awake and the plane rose with commotion.

"You," Adoil turned to see Ben snarl at him.

The plane shook again.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please stay calm. We have hit some slight tuberlance and things--." The pilot was caught off as the lights went out and the plane suddenly plunged downwards. The lights flickered back on for a brief moment as screams died down. "Everything should be--" the plane took a nose dive as the passangers rose in a frenzy.

Adoil stood in the isle, invisible to the other passangers. "There are demons...they have come for you." Adoil told the Zodiac. "I cannot help you."

OOC: Alright kiddies. You have a task before you, no god-playing ur character. Work together with the other Zodiacs to try and save the plane and its passangers. Have fun ;)

(I'll most likely die a horrible death if I don't post, so here you go...)

The streets of Miami were lively and filled with life on the balmy night in southern Florida. Young people wandered about, drinking their night away, meeting for hurried assignations and seemingly uncaring for the chaos that was beginning to be unleashed upon the world.

A young couple, arms wrapped about eachother staggered giggling to their third club for the night. It most likely wouldn't be the last either, hell, it was only two AM, the night was still young. When they had reached the door, the young man collided into the chest of a tall, firm figure, black clad and rather still. The drunk chuckled as he used his feminine escort to steady himself.

"Whoa, sorry bro." He laughed, looking up at the tall man before him, seemingly not sharing in his humor, "Hah, Didn't see ya there."

"Duuuude," The woman now spoke, taking the attention from a small flashing cellphone away to look at the black clad figure, "Those are some nice threads! And your hair is totally awesome too!"

The figure that had soon swept aside cast an indifferent glare at the couple, tightening the long black coat around him as he strode away, ignoring the drunken farwells he received.

Lucifer scowled to himself as he stalked away, down a dark alleyway and back to his companion Azrael. The pair of angels had lost track of Reoan when she left the states. The once fallen angel had been scouring the night clubs for information. It had been rather hard to find a follower of Reoan who was willing to give up information without knowledge of his new ways. He couldn't threaten and kill senslessly now, Reoan's followers knew that fact well and used it to their advanatge. Tonight he had been fortunate in finding one who shook at mention of his name, and gave him any information he needed, provided he didn't hurt him.

A small grin spread across his face as he thought back to the man who cowered against his menacing height. Seems Reoan kept a few cowards as followers as well. Pity.

When he reached a dark secluded area of the alleyway he paused, looking for prying eyes. He spread his wings, a gentle smile comming to his face as he reached out to stroke his dim gray feathers. They had been growing lighter and lighter in color, his hair seemingly not following suit. It didn't bother him as much as the small patch of feathers that didn't grow back as result of Reoan's blade.

He frowned, turning his head away from his wings as he took flight, off into the dark skies and away to a safer place.

The world had been shaken up quite a bit, America not being any different. Lucifer and Azrael had taken residence in a quiet neighborhood outside the city limits, living quietly in an abandonned home. It was sufficient enough for their needs, although the lights weren't normally on as they usually were when he arrived home most nights.

He landed lightly on the doorstep, walking over the threshold and closing the door behind him as he peered through the darkness. He found his angelic companion stretched out on the floor, gently resting with his arm tucked beneith his head.

Lucifer sighed with a gentle smile, moving to the space on the floor where he sat, placing his hand on his brethren's hair as he watched him sleep. Rest was not a normal function for angels, yet he imagined that being so far from heaven for so long was beginning to affect the angel.

He could wait until he awoke to tell him of going to Madrid, for he would need the rest for their travel.

Kariz stood and looked at the other zodiacs. Kadar looked at her

?Demons?

?Shit?

Kariz reached up into the over head bin and started passing out weapons

?Ima, see if you can do something about the angle of this decent?

Ima nodded and closed her eyes. The nose of the plane tipped slightly back up, but not enough

?Too fast?too heavy?? Ima mumbled

?Well, what are we fighting here?? Ben said, standing in the aisle.

Zane shook his head

?I can?t see anything?

Camilla nodded

?Maybe the cabin??

Kariz nodded to her and start heading for the front, which was an easy trip, since gravity was seriously pitching in there. Ben, Raven and Rubedo were right behind her. Kadar and Zane seemed to be trying to support Ima, and Camilla was calming the passengers. They did not seem to be comforted at all by their weapons etc, but that wasn?t the main concern right now.

Kariz tried the cabin door. It was jammed

?Stand back?

She moved and Ben kicked it in. Five men stood in the cabin over the dead pilots. They turned and she could see their eyes glowing red.

?Well well, if it isn?t the infamous zodiac, welcome to the party?.?

(OOC: sorry so short guys...)

Camilla tried to calm the people down. Most of the passengers where in hysterics from fear and surprise of the situation at hand. It was no use to calm them down. The flight attendant was lying on the ground and had become conscious again after falling and hitting her head. Camilla told her to try and keep everyone calm, that they would handle things her. She nodded her and began to try and comfort the passengers.

Camilla had been right. The enemy was in the cabin and five demons stood there with their eyes glowing red. ?Well well, if it isn?t the infamous zodiac, welcome to the party?.? The voice was raspy and sound like it had a hard time forming the words.
Turbulence hit and Camilla and Ima were knocked to the ground. The demons took this as a sign as the best time to attack.

Camilla quickly grabbed the dagger out of her boot. It really wasn't going to do much good for her not in this close quarter. "Don't let them into where the passengers are." Kariz yelled. They all nodded. It would be harder to fight with that much more movement available to them.

Kariz, Ben, Raven and Rubedo where fighting them head on. They where doing a good job keeping the demons where they. Camilla tried to think of a way to get the plane level again. It didn't matter about the demons if that didn't happen.

She noticed a small plant and got an idea. Forming fines from the roots she led them against the wall. She hoped that the demons did not see what she was up to. Camilla concentrated hard at her task at hand. As the vines traveled up the panel she gripped them on the controls. She had to guess if it was the right level, she couldn't see the gages. Not that it could really help much. Camilla made the vines pull back on the control and they started to climb in altitude. She slowly let some of the pressure go. I hope that's right. It felt like it but with anything you could never trust your sense fully.
