Saw.

I've just seen this movie recently and I must say; Saw is one of the BEST horror, thriller movie's I've ever seen.
Although it's a low budget movie, it's extremely well done, and the plot has to be one of the most interesting in horror history.

The police are looking for some killer, named 'Jigsaw'
Well.. Killer.. He let's his victims kill eachother or themself.
His trademark are these 'games' where the victim's must do a really sick thing to keep living, or die in the process.
His victim's are mostly people who are ungratefull to be alive.. Example
This one guy cuts his wrist.. for attention. Jigsaw doesn't like that, so he sets up this little trap. He places the man (naked) in a room with barbed wire, setting a timer attached to a door. The man must reach the door before the dimer stops and the door will close, leaving him in the dark room, trapped.. How much blood will you shed to stay alive?
Then, two men wake up chained in a filthy bathroom, with a death body in their middle. They're going to play a game...

Anyone seen it? It's such an awesome movie!!

I thought it was good considering a lot of factors against it. The low budget is one of those. It reminded me a lot of Seven in concept, although not as "deep" perhaps.

Some of the acting was pretty mediocre and the bad guy kind of just seemed like he did things just so we had something to be scared/grossed out by... I don't think that aspect of the plot was fleshed out enough.

Still, it was a fun movie and certainly better than most of what passes for horror films these days. The ending was pretty damn surprising.

I just saw Saw (?) and it was great! I didn't even know it was low budget. Normally, i really don't get scared from horror/thriller movies. Like around halloween last year i watched a ton of horrors that i hadn't ever seen before, and i was completely unfased. After i saw this, i had so much trouble sleeping, that hadn't happend to me since i was in second grade or something. Not to mention it very, very rare for me to jump from a horror, but yet again, this one did it
(only once though, when the Jiggsaw killer jumped out of Adam (the photographer's) closet)
. Anyway, this was great, and i highly recommend it to horror/thriller fans, it's not for the weak of heart. I only rented it, but i will likely buy it.

You're so right!
The puppet (he's named Billy btw ^^) was soo freaky!
That scene on the bike was really freaky!!
The story is just so creepy.. It could happen.. that's what makes it so scary.

Saw didn't scare the pants off me by any means, nor did it really gross me out all that much. It did make me laugh, though,
as the doctor was sawing his foot off, and Adam was screaming more than he was (even though Adam was just watching), and as soon as he finishes cutting through, he mellow's out like *snap* that...
.

A few parts spooked me, like when
the nurse-guy popped out the girl's closet
, or when
the real killer just got up off the ground. Or when the cop's partner got killed by those hanging shotguns (what a way to go...)
. But at other times, it made me really laugh. I'm a tad sadistic, so forgive me. Like the two first executions of the 'Jigsaw' murderer. But I will admit that the movie probably had one of the better twists I've seen sence "The Crying Game". So, I'll give it one sawed off thumb up!

Saw was probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time...even for some of the acting really didn't bother me. I mean yea...how the doctor acted some of the time was korny...but hey...ya never know how someone would act in a situation like that. End...was awesome...I literally jumped out of my sofa and screamed YES!...THAT WAS AMAZING! Aheem...wont say anymore.

As for the doll...I laughed at it:)...so cute:)...but the pig...wow...that was freaky. Bro couldn't sleep for two nights...I dont get scared by horror movies anymore. But I will say this...PG-13 horrow movies are bad...R is the only was to go.

They probably will come out with a second too it...or something like it. Original and unique I must say...must see...must buy.

Saw 2 will come out in Octobre.. And they're currently shooting it now ^-^
Amanda will make a comeback, and of course Jigsaw, and we'll find out more about his past.

One of my favourite saw moments is when The Doctor just shot Adam, and a while after it, has a little love scene with him, going: 'It's going to be allright..' (He just SHOT the guy!)

I dont like that they are making another Saw movie. In terms of books, movies, games, stories in general, i like it very much when the story is left open. I gives the viewer, reader, etc. the opportunity to make whatever they want of it. There's allways the chance that it will turn out really good, but the last thing we need is another Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions disaster on a good movie to start.

yep...it was a little...demented...o.O;; although that's kinda putting it lightly...
the part about
jigsaw jumping out of adam's closet, for me, wasn't scary at all, sure, i jumped a bit when he actually came out, but it was kinda expected, ya know?
...anyway...all in all, it's a pretty good movie XD

I would have to agree, Saw was one of the best horror movie I have seen in a long time. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. And I absolutely loved that ending, and making a sequel will just ruin the whole purpose of the original.

SAW was my favorite movie in the past year (since it came out last year). Hell, I'll even admit I was pretty spooked from time to time. But not like the jump out of your seat kind. The kind that gets you mentally. The kind that freaks the hell out of you. I was even scared to go in the theatre's bathroom becuase the tiling was the same as in the room they were in, in the movie.

The entire idea was well thought out. SAW wasn't created to scare people. It was created to make people think. It was created so people wouldn't take the protection of society for granted. Or at least that's what I got out of it.

I'm definetly eager to see SAW 2. I think Amanda may be the main character this time and that she's haunted by Jigsaw's whole scheme for her. And she'll prolly try to stop him.
