I agree. Its a great picture but it can be even better with a nice background to match. I really like how you made them all gothic, by the way. >P It looks cool.

EDIT: Ah, I'm sorry. My post seems a bit little too, so I'll add more.

The fishnets look nice but I'm wondering (not in a perverted way O.o) how that dress would look like from the front. Haha. Oh, that's not a critism or anything, just a curious question. I also like how you highlighted the hair and black (leather?) clothing. It really adds a nice effect. And this probably is little, but I like the orange juice... The warm colour against the dark colours adds nice contrast.

Please try to add as much critique for the picture as possible so he or she can improve. In this case, even though Synical only asked about the background, comment on the existing picture as well to provide the best feedback you can. ~_^

Google for backgrounds used in dark/semi-dark anime like Texhnolyze or, um, Yami no Matsuei. You can even go for pictures of real places (this I highly recommend 'cause there's a lack of anime backgrounds circulating around the net. sad, really)[/SIZE][/COLOR]

May i just add..
wow, great peice of art so far! I love it, the gothic theme is awesome! Be sure to post more like this, i'd love to see them. And.. show us the finished peice :)
