Eric leaned back in his chair, his head falling back. He realized that his hair had grown quite a bit, during their little vacation, as he felt it fall back from his face.

[I]Could you, possibly, leave me alone for two seconds?[/I]

One... two...

[I]'You can only ignore me for so long, my love.'[/I]

'God, would you shut up!?'

'Well, I don't.' Jace shot at him.

Eric looked over at him.

'It's not my job to babysit you, and I don't intend to.'

'I wasn't...' Eric stood, 'I need some air.' He headed for the door.

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]M's grip on Andy's hand became firm as people continued to leave and not show up to the dinner...it wasn't just a dinner, but a time to get an introduction to the task at hand. Everyone was walking around...doing their own thing...despite how irritated he was becoming with Jace, he knew that he was right.

"Jace...I'm sorry, but everyone seems to be going off on their own right now..."

"No shit! Jace leaned back against the wall in discust.

"I know man...look...I'm gonna go find everyone and bring them together. You can stay here if you want...but if you want to leave, that's up too you...I'll just explain everything to them myself."

Jace said nothing as M turned his attention to Andy beside him..."You wanna come with me?"

"Of course..." as M kissed her, and the two of them got out of the booth and headed for everyone's rooms first.

"Where did Farel go M?"

"Farel was the only one who told me where he was going...Taikaru went somewhere; and he's out there looking for her. Once we get everyone together here...I'll track the two of them down and meet up with them...I'm sure Eric is outside somewhere as well."

"M..." as she whispered into his ear..."I hear Lee and Ivy in their room together."

M could only shake his head as he knocked on the door. He could hear a rustling sound within...M and Andy could only imagine what was going on in there.

"Ivy...Lee!...get ready and dressed now!" M's voice was firm but friendly..itching his friends to get ready.

"Ok ok..." he could hear Lee saying as shoes and weapons could be heard being thrown around. The door burst open...with Lee and Ivy at each others sides with a somewhat innocent look upon their faces, as if they were children.

"Alright kiddies...let's go" Andy said with a laugh as M joined her...both Julius and Carl walked out of their room as well all dressed and ready to go as the six of them walked into the streets of Tokyo. They easily found Eric leaning up against the wall of the resturant. M could see that something was on his mind...

Whispering in his ear as the rest departed...searching for Taikaru and Farel..."you alright Eric?"

He didn't say a word...

"If you need to talk...I'll have an open ear for ya later tonight if you wish..."

"Thanks man..."

"No problem...now lets find everyone...I need to tell you all something." M putting a hand on Eric's shoulder...they both walked and joined the others who all clumped together in one large group as M led them in Farel and Taikaru's direction. [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Arial]Jace watched M and Andy walk away, a smugged look on his face. [I]Hate for you to leave, but, damn, I love to watch you go. [/I] Jace chuckled at his thought as he slid from his chair. He had no time for these people. This was retarted.

"Where you off to, Tahlia?" The bar tender shouted.

"Away from these wacked out people," Jace hollared back, grabbing his thigh length coat from the coat rack at the door. "You see Jason or any of the underground, tell 'em to find some other monkey to take this team about the city, I've had enough." Jace threw his coat on, waving to the man as he burst out onto the street.

The smell of rotting flesh floated over him for a moment and then the strong scent of freshly cooked meat. Jace tried his damnedest not to drool, but [I]god[/I] he was hungry. He ran his fingers through his raven black hair as he started towards the buildings on the other side.

"Don't you have a meeting to run?" Came a slightly familiar voice.

Jace turned, smiling upon seeing Eric leaning up against the tavern. He walked towards him, shoving his hands into his coat pockets. "Well if it isn't the man of my dreams." Jace chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Eric replied.

Jace threw his arms on either side of Eric's shoulders, nearly penning him up against the wall. Eric watched the man. Jace slid his face down next to the man's neck, taking a deep breath through his nose, as he drew it up towards his face. "Oh, but you are." Jace whispered.

"Dude, get away from me." Eric shoved Jace's chest, and the six foot something man stepped back.

"Catch ya around," Jace threw his hand in the air and flicked his fingers in some form of good-bye gesture.

"Thought you had a meeting?" Eric called again.

"So did I," Jace called over his shoulder as he disappeared into shadowy cover of the buildings.

[I]What the hell am I doing with these people? There nothing but a munch of rejects with super-human powers from all over the place. I can't show them anything and even if I did...[/I] The thought trailed off as a sudden throbbing could be felt on his chest.

"The ruby," Jace whispered. He made unnoticed glances about his surroundings, pulling his coat tight against his body. The massive modern buildings towered over top of him, the sounds of flying vehicles every where.

"Hello Jacey boy." A faint voice echoed through the metal and concret.

Jace stood up straight, hands still tucked in his pockets.

"Still runnin' from your past, Jacey boy." The voice called out again.

"Nah, Reindeer. I ain't runnin' from my past any more. I'm destroying it!" Jace shouted, swirling around and throwing a red hot fire ball north west of his position. The ball collided into the building, exploding and sending various pieces flying into the air and onto the ground.

Within the hole Jace had created stood a lone man. He clamped his teeth shut, trying desperately to keep the memories from flooding back. He shoved his hands down by his waist and shouted "[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]ANSUZ[/COLOR]!" A rush of wind swirled around him and shot him into the air, soaring right into the hole.

"You've gotten better, Jacey boy. But you still ain't good enough!" The man shouted upon Jace's landing.

He balled his hands together, said something beyond Jace's hearing and comprehension. The man threw the massive glowing ball towards Jace, who stood up with both hands thrown forward.

"You can't beat some one that knows all the elements, Reindeer." Jace said calmly. "[COLOR=Blue]KANO PERTH[/COLOR]!" Jace shouted. From his hands spewed a tidel wave, rushing straight into the crackling ball. At first, Jace's water attack seemed not to phase it and the other man began to laugh wickedly. A smugged smile creeped across Jace's lips. "[COLOR=Blue]Laguz[/COLOR]," Jace whispered as the whole room filled with water, turning the glowing ball into a massive rock floating in a room of water.

The water rushed from the room through the opening in the wall, and the man Jace had been calling Reindeer, laid on the tiled floor, not moving. Jace walked over to him and checked for a pulse.

"Slimy little bastard." Jace mumbled as he hoisted the man onto his back. Using steps made of electricity, Jace made his way back to the ground level and started back towards the tavern.

Just out of view of the building he had come to know as home, the ruby laying on his chest began to throb. He looked down at his chest, a glowing light seeping throw his close. He threw his head up, face creased with looked to be fear.

"Damn it!" Jace cursed as he rushed towards the Tavern.

Rushing into the Tavern, Jace couldn't seem to find any of the Heaven team. He threw Reindeer onto his bed and rushed to the bar.

"Where are they?"

"Don't know. They all left just after you did." The bar tender replied.

Jace swore, slamming his fist into the counter. "There's a man upstairs in my room. Make sure he stays there."

"Sure thing."

Jace rushed towards the door again.

"Where are you going?"

"To find Project Heaven, they're in great danger!" Jace shouted over his shoulder as he raced from the building.[/FONT] [/COLOR]

?Taikaru.? Farel appeared out from a wall. ?I?ve been looking for you.? The guy behind her started to run away.

?Well it has already been around a hour so I thought I would look for you.?

?Alright just a sec.? Taikaru went back to the desk and took out the papers. She then followed Farel again.[/COLOR]

OOC: Alright so now that I included Farel Meddigo can meet up with the others. Also I wanted to just say that my power was getting to confusing even for me. So let?s just call it shadow cleaving but it is a form of mid level alchemy. Finally I would like to add that you are going to see some changes. (Hint: in my character.) With that all said happy posting.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=DarkSlateGray]"Farel!...Taikaru" Lee yelled as he caught their attention, the two of them walking down the street side by side. With both parties waving to one another...they all converged with one another in the middle of the road which was deserted...

Only lights from the sky about, the incredible machines and buildings lighting up the old style pavement of the 20th century.

"What is everyone doing out here?" questioned Taikaru after everyone had greated each other.

"Looking for you" replied Andy..."you all weren't at the dinner."

"Indeed...Farel was getting worried and went after you." added Eric, who finally had spoken since M previously talked to him.

"So...I see that everyone is here then...should we be heading back to the bar?" Farel had already taken Taikaru's hand as the two began to walk; the rest of the group followed suit.

But Andy and M didn't move..."wait everyone...there is something I want to talk to all of you about first." proclaimed M in a gentle, and yet authoritative tone. The group had always looked at him as the leader of the group, but this was the first time where he actually took a major initiative.

"Sure M..." replied Farel...he was taken back a little, but also with a sense of curiosity. He had always respected M for who is was...so his action intreged him.

Everyone stood side by side as Andy left M's and joined the others as M stood before them.

"It's good to see everyone again; I'm happy to see that everyone is doing well..."

M immidiately sensed a rush of emotion from Eric...something holding back...[I]What's wrong Eric?[/I]

"I see that our friendship has been kept in tact...as well as a few passions I see..." M had a huge grin on his face as he looked at Lee and Farel; everyone laughed at the remark.

"So memories rush to my mind, about everything we've shared and experianced with one another...all that we have accomplished..." everyone could sense from M through the output of his powers that he was getting to a serious point.

"But; do not forget that we now on duty once again...serving our people...for the darkness that was caused by the virus...as not yet subsided; and we've been called here to fight against the new rise."

Immidiately the Angelic Team realized the point...

"I rejoice with all my heart to see everyone so happy...running around and enjoying life. But right here in this moment...that is not why we are here. Jace had prepared for us to arrive at dinner which was instructed, and many of us blew it off..." M suddenly turned his gaze to Ivy and Lee. He wasn't upset at them...but was driving the point home.

"You all are my friends...and I care for every single one of you as you already know. And I am not telling you to stop feeling for one another...but do not forget that we are soldier...sent here to do a job...and help save mankind against whatever enemy."

"Please dont think that I'm upset at anyone...you all know me." M said with a smile..."but I do hope that my point is seen......we are up against a new dark power here in this city everyone. Jace is our expert...and will be telling us exactly what to expect...some form of witchcraft is at work here...and Jace has the answers with us."

"I don't care if you like the guy or not..." now M was acting like the leader...not hiding his feelings anymore...Andy and Lee saw this. Lee had once touched his mind and almost died because of it...he didn't know if this was a good or bad thing...

"...but we need him...and he needs us to destroy whatever it is that is infesting itself within this cities walls. Be what I know you all are capable of being...we're a team...and family...just like how things used to be. Completing this mission effectively, and efficiently...as well as making some adjustments along the way...'' M letting up...giving a wink to everyone.

"...lets do this...so that we can go back home..."

Everyone was silent...taking in his words. Reading their reactions...M could tell that they understood and agreed with him. All of them giving a nod...M and Lee suddenly sensed a stirring in the shadows surrounding them.

"Heads up everyone!" yelled out Lee as everyone drew their weapons.

"Be cool everyone...something is here with us...'' M added as everyone could see now shifting movements within the darkness.

In a blinding flash of light...everyone's eyes closed shut as some unknown forces took hold of both Lee and M. Everyone scattered when within moments...both Julius's and Carl's cries could be heard echoing in the streets.

As the light died down..the two mens bodies could be seen decaptiated as the rest of the groups eyesight came back.

"Where's M!" cried out Andy as she frantically looked around after seeing the two dead bodies among everyone else.

"I don't know...but I can't see Lee anywhere either!" responded Ivy as she got to her feet...crying out Lee's name.

"Everyone..." Farel's look was concerned and bewildered as the five of them were now surrounded by a dozen dark cloaked figures...their faces hidden beneathe their hoods.

Farel, Taikaru, Eric, Ivy and Andy all backed up to one another as they the cloaks drew nearer. They looked like ghosts...their bodies gliding over the pavement slightly.

Eric noticed one of them raising on of their arms...pointing in their direction...

"Get ready everyone...they're about to attack!"

[CENTER]***[/CENTER]

"Lee...yo man...you alright?" questioned M as he slowly opened his eyes. His head felt dizzy...a drozy kind of feeling. His arms and limps were bound to a metal pipe; touching what he imagined to be Lee's back. Their restraints were made of pure titanium...practically unbreakable.

Lee seemed to be coming around to M's words as he shook around for a moment..."Hey I'm ok...a little dizzy...where the hell are we?"

"I don't know...its just dark in here...."[/COLOR][/SIZE]

OCC: Alright...Lee...you and I have been kidnapped for the moment, and we wont be escaping. Everyone else...you're being attacked by witches...those powered with the element of Shadowmelding (dark magic). Thing is is that you can't kill them...imagine for that is up too you. DC will be posting to finalize the battle....settnig the plot of the Chapter into motion.

And yes...Julius and Carl are dead:)...had to kill them. Dont cry... :animecry:

[SIZE=1]Lee gasped. His mouth and throat were bone-dry. He looked to one side of him, and just about saw M's face through the dark. The cold metal of the bonds which bound him to the pipe bit into his wrists.

"M," he croaked, "Are you okay?"

"I dunno, man. I think I hit my head. It kinda hurts, like a concussion."

"Same here. Where do you think we are?"

"I dunno, but I know one thing for sure. I have a very bad feeling about this place."

Then, something flashed into Lee's mind. An image of a spider. A huge one. He gasped, and felt himself break into a cold sweat. He heard M gasp as well, and felt cold water running down M's palms.

"M! What just happened to you?"

"I just saw a whole bunch of ghosts in my mind."

"Why?"

"They're my greatest fear."

"I just saw a huge spider, and they're my biggest fear. Someone must have been inside our minds."

"So we're facing some kind of telepath here?"

"I don't know. It doesn't feel like we've been probed telepathically. There's a weird energy pattern left around our minds."

Suddenly, Lee had another vision, this time of spiders crawling all over his body. He squirmed and grunted, trying to get the feeling of the spiders off him.

"Oh, Jesus," he cursed, "Get the hell off me!"

He felt M squirm as well. He was shouting something which Lee couldn't hear properly.

Then, as suddenly as it had started, the vision stopped. Lee relaxed, but readied himself for another vision. He took a few deep breaths, feeling that this could go on for a while.

Another vision came, but he was ready for this one. He blocked it out, managing to keep himself calm. That vision stopped, and another took it's place.

Lee was on top of a cliff, and below him was fire and brimstone, the stuff of Hell itself. He was above it all, but next to him he saw Ivy. He smiled. This vision wasn't so bad.

But then, he saw Ivy slip, and fall off the edge of the cliff. She fell down into the hellish depths of the fire, and he could hear her screaming as she burnt to death.

"No!" he shouted, snapping out of his vision violently. He was sweating profusely, and his eyes hurt. If that was what was coming next, he didn't think he could take much more of it...[/SIZE]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Andy watched as the hooded figures came closer.
" Where have you taken M and Lee?" she demanded. The figures just closed in on them, without an answer.
" Tell me where the fuck you've hidden them assholes!" Andy swore.
" I don't think they want to tell you Andy," Farel said as he withdrew his weapons.

" Ok....that's it.....now you've just pissed me off," Andy growled. Fire leapt up around Team Heaven without Andy even raising a finger. She could feel Ivy tense up beside her, also infuriated at her partner's disappearance.
" Shall we Andy?" she snapped.
" Yes, that we shall Ivy."

Both of them used their powers combined to create one massive fire explosion that scattered the hooded figures. Some even caught alight, but their cloaks didn't vanish. Ivy and Andy stumbled back shocked.
" What are these things?" Andy asked, looking at them strangely.
" Whatever they are, you've mad them mad now!" Eric called.
" Oh shut up."

Launching herself at one, Andy tried to knee them in the stomach but they faded into the shadows.
" Bastards......they know how to shadow meld." Creating fire in her palm, she was suddenly thrown towards the ground from behind. Masterfully making the fall into a flip, Andy landed easily and looked up to her attackers. Two of the hooded assailants loomed over her.
" DAMN YOU ALL TO THE DEPTHS OF HELL!" Andy screamed, launching another attack at them, this time trying to punch one in the face and kick the other in the neck. The two shadow-melded again and disappeared before her attack could contact. This was really getting on her nerves.

" I've never been one to lose my temper properly......but this is just pushing it."
Standing tall, her whole body erupted in flame. The colour of the flames grew intense until it was a brilliant white. Andy's eyes turned a devil red. She cocked her head to one side.
" The one who worships God is a devil herself," she whispered, half growling.

Her body shook with rage. Again, she attacked the hooded figures. And again, she missed. Her rage kept increasing and the flame around became more and more intense. This is what the hooded figures wanted to do to her - use up all her energy in her rage, so when she could actually figure out a way to fight then, she would be too exhausted to do it.

Whirling around, Andy roundhoused and missed. A punch caught her in the cheek out of nowhere and a swift kick caught her legs, making her end up on her back. A swinging fist came down, but luckily Andy had rolled out of the way because it made a small crater in the road surface below her.
" What the hell?" she said, looking from the crater to the hooded figures who were attacking her. Another kick to her back and an elbow in her stomach sent Andy to her knees. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.
" If only M could see me now...."

[COLOR=DimGray]The robed shadowmelding creatures started to circle them. One yelled out something. ?It?s an incantation duck!? Taikaru yelled as everyone ducked. A fire ball of great energy whizzed past Andy, Ivy, and Taikaru.
?That is it. I?m really sick of this.? Andy said making flame appear. Huge pillars of flame started to appear.
?Andy stop! You will wear down!? Eric said. It was a little too late though. She already started the pyroclasm of flames towards the creatures. They just shadowmelded again. Andy dropped to the floor.
?Andy!? Ivy yelled.
?Ok that is it. You are on my grounds now.? Taikaru said getting angry. She charged at one of the creatures. It started to shadowmeld. Taikaru then turned quickly on her foot and turned ninety degrees and punched one of the creatures. The robe fell off but there was nothing there. ?It shadowmelded.? She said looking down at the ground where a darker spot was visible.
?Taikaru behind you!? Eric said as Taikaru was grabbed by a creature.
?Damn.? The creature pulled her under. She was pulled slowly while Eric came to help. Eric?s and Taikaru?s hands were bonded together tightly but she was pulled harder. Eric?s and Taikaru?s grip let go. She was then consumed by the darkness. It was black in every direction. She walked forward and bumped into something.
?Ooof. Don?t you know how to watch where you are going??
?Farel??
?Yes I got in here at the last moment. Eric lost his grip so I can try to get us out of here.?
?Why would you do that for me. I could handle on my own.?
?After going into their territory I don?t think so.?
?Farel I sense something coming.? Suddenly they were pulled back out and they could see the fight again. ?uhh Farel what just happened??
?Taikaru I think you?ve gotten shorter.?
?What?? Taikaru looked up to see Farel almost two times bigger. ?What the hell happened? How did you get so big??
?I didn?t you are just uhhh?how should I put this?stuck.? Taikaru then realized she couldn?t move her arms or legs. ?Seems that you were only brought through halfway.?
?How can I fight? Andy is already down and I?m stuck. That is two fighters down already. Also let?s not forget Carl and Julius died. That makes it four down. Finally M and Lee were captured that makes it six fighters down.?
?So what you are trying to say is that we have Ivy, Eric, and me left.?
?Precisely.?
?I already knew that.?
?Just get over there and fight I need some concentration on how to get out of this. I was only phased half way after all.? Farel ran off to join Ivy and Eric. *How will I get myself out of this one? My hands need to touch something I can see or else I run the possibility of destroying the rest of my body along with the cement. How much I wish I could use Lee?s powers right about now.* Taikaru saw that the creatures were being attacked quickly but also shadowmelded as quickly. Eric was punched in the face and looked like he was concentrated on something else. Farel she couldn?t see and Ivy was still standing by Andy waiting for her to become conscious again. She saw the golden spray of Ivy?s bombs making explosions almost near Taikaru.
?Pssst.?
?What who is there?? Taikaru looked as much as she could but she didn?t see who gave the noise.
?I?m here to help but please close your eyes.?
?Who are you? I wish to know who is helping me.?
?Sorry.? It was a male voice around the age of 29. ?But I can?t. Please just close your eyes and stand still.?
?Alright.? Taikaru closed her eyes. There was no point in standing still because she was trapped. Suddenly in an instant she was free. She looked around for someone but all there was was darkness. She looked about the ground and there was almost a perfect square where she used to be.
?What?s this?? She knelt down to see something. She picked it up. It was a gold necklace with a small coal black stone on the end of it. It was a small stone but it was somewhat heavy. She looked back at the battle and saw that people were weakening.
?Taikaru I see you got out of that mess fine.? It was Farel but she couldn?t see him.
?Yeah let?s just get rid of these things before they get rid of us.?[/COLOR]

OOC: Alright I have made the final decision. We are calling shadow cleaving that. But just to let everyone know if they didn?t catch it, shadow cleaving is like Alchemy. It is mid-level alchemy. As far as the fight goes I?m not that good at endings. Someone kill these things off.

[SIZE=1]Lee's handcuffs snapped off his wrists, and he was dragged away from the pole. He looked around to see what was happening, but saw nothing. He struggled, and tried to resist, but he was still being dragged away. He vaguely heard M's voice in the distance, shouting after him.

He blacked out at that point, and when he woke up, he was lying on a medical table, with a single pool of light on him. There were dark figures standing just outside the light, but Lee couldn't see any of their features. One of them said something which Lee couldn't make out, and then he felt a sharp pain in his arm. Something had stabbed a needle into his arm, and was now draining blood from him.

He felt woozy as they drew more and more blood from him, and then he passed out again.

When he woke up, he was back in the cell, handcuffed to the pipe again, but M was no longer there. There was a bandage around his arm, stopping more blood from escaping, but he still felt dizzy, and he was sweating a large amount.

There was some shouting outside the cell, and Lee looked up to see M being dragged back into the cell. He was unconscious, and sweat was pouring down his body. Whatever it was that had captured them cuffed him back to the pole, and Lee saw a bandage on his arm as well.

He shuffled around the pole and nudged M, who awoke sharply. He looked around, not knowing where he was for a second, and then remembered, and his head fell.

"M, did they take blood from you as well?" Lee asked.

"I think so."

"Why do they want our blood?" Lee asked.

"Who knows. But I do know one thing. We're not in a blood bank." They both laughed a little.

"My arm really hurts. I think when they stuck that needle in me, I tensed my muscle. The needle broke off and I think it's still in my arm," said M.

"You have a needle in your arm? Maybe we can use that to pick the lock on these handcuffs."

"No, these are magnetic handcuffs. You can't pick the lock, there's an electronic combination lock."

"Dammit!" shouted Lee. His voice echoed through the room. He tensed up. Suddenly, there were more visions of Ivy dying in his mind. His head fell to his chest, and tears began to run down his cheeks.

M was next to him, being tortured as well, and a feeling of despair washed over Lee. He couldn't see any way out of this. He felt that he and M would die in here...[/SIZE]

[I]'Having fun, my precious?'[/I] Eric could almost feel the voice, dancing around in his head.

Eric spun, ducking under one creature, only to get a fist in the face from another. It hurt like hell, but, at least, he knew they were solid.

[I]'You're going to die, like this. You know that, right?'[/I]

'Rraaagh!' Eric screamed as he shot backwards, just as another shadowmelder appeared in the spot he'd just vacated. He drew his sword and slashed, splitting the thing in half. The sword slipped from his hand, spinning across the room and imbedding itself into the wall.

[I]'Now... Now we see what you're made of. Show them, my love.'[/I]

One of the shadow melders paused, turning towards Eric. He stood, rigid and trembling. His eyes slowly opened.

They were blood red...

Two shadow melders began to circle around Eric. Slowly, the began to close in on him. He stood straight, his eyes following them. They sprang at him and he was enshrouded in an impenatrable umbra.

'Eric!' Ivy cried.

'Is he dead, too?' Taikaru asked.

There was a low popping noise, followed by a pair of unearthly screams as the shadow around Eric shredded apart. The last of the shadow melders turned to flee, but Eric noticed it first. He jumped on the creature's back, a sadistic smile on his face.

'Where do you think you're going?' he asked it, his voice sounding like someone ripped the vocal chords out of a demon and shoved them down his throat. He raised his hand, his fingers looking like claws, and shoved it through the shadow melder's back. Blood sprayed as his fingers burst out of the thing's chest and his smile grew.

He hopped off the shadow melder's back as it fell to the ground. Blood dripped from his hands and face as he slowly made his way over to the wall where his sword had stuck. The others watched him, nervously. What had just happened, back there? He reached up and pulled the sword from the wall.

As soon as it was free, he collapsed, unconscious.

[COLOR=DimGray]?Holy crap!? Taikaru said as she watched Eric tear through the flesh and fibers of the hooded figures around them. Blood spewed everywhere even on Taikaru?s leather. One slash after another Eric was really pulling out the guns. His fingers were stained and the pavement was soaked in blood. ?Remind me not to get him angry.? Taikaru said to Farel.
?What in the world is happening to Eric?? Farel asked.
?Don?t ask me I am still figuring him out.? Ivy said carrying Andy.
?I have an idea.?
?What is it Taikaru??
?He has gone completely insane. Now he is on a murderous rampage.?
?That doesn?t sound like Eric.?
?Does it matter now? He is consumed with killing these things off.?
?What happens when he is done?? Ivy asked from behind them.
?I don?t know but I think we should just be ready in case Taikaru is correct on him going insane.? Farel said backing away. They backed up far enough to watch the entire fight. Eric looked like he was some kind of dog sniffing around then slashing at one of the shadowmelders.
*Could this be what Eric is? Is he really this well uhhh?strange when he gets angry. I really can?t say for certain but I got to go now.* Ivy, Farel, and Taikaru were well out of the way from Eric but Taikaru kept on nudging back. Finally she could see in full view Ivy and Farel as well as the fight. *I know this goes against everything we are trying to do here but I got just one lead.* Taikaru turned around and left in a running sprint. She tracked down a direction away from the fight but to an old house. It looked abandoned. ?I could check.? Taikaru walked up to the door and opened it. Inside the webs were as big as one human. ?Hello!? Taikaru announced her coming. She looked around and saw a chandelier still intact. ?Is anyone here?? There was no answer but the echoing silence. She walked further.
?Are you talking to me?? A small voice called from the darkness.
?Why do you hide? Show yourself.?
?I can?t show myself. I?m not sure where I lost myself but I lost myself.?

OCC: Sorry for not being around, I had a show to go to. Musical...blah!

Ivy looked around and hopped from one foot to the other thinking franticly.
"We've go to find M and Lee! And I think we should find Andy as well."
She looked around as more figures came to them.
"They're like ants!"
She swung her arm around and felt about 30 bombs fly out.
"Duck and cover!"
She covered her head and ducked behind a piece of rubble. She dropped to her knee as her heart felt like it was being squeezed.
"Something is worng with Lee and M."
Taikaru looked at her.
"How do you know?"
"I just know."
She nodded and looked around as the smoke cleared.
"Well, at least you got them to go away."
Ivy nodded and ran out from where she was and felt a foot connect with her back.
"What the hell!"
She spun and threw a bomb, a scream made her smile.
"Got it."
She looked back.
"Yo, Tai! Let's go!"
She chuckled as she could her the other girl behind her cursing at her nickname for her.
[I]Hold on Lee, I'm coming to find you...don't worry, I'l be there soon...[I/]
she followed a swarm of the witches as they headed back to where she hopped they were keeping Lee and M, she passed a clearing and saw Andy struggleing her slef.
"Andy hang in there! I'm going to find Lee and M. I promise I'll bring him back safetly!"
Andy nodded and continued her battle, flames surrounding her.
"Good luck..."
Ivy kept following the witches and smiled as she followed them to their area.
"Goody..."
She looked back and found she had left the others behind.
"I can do this."
She snuck inside and followed where she thought she would find them. She hear screams from everywhere when she head one she reconzed, running to the door she peered inside there they were, Lee and M.
"Lee! M!"
She whispered their name harshly, they looked up at her, both looked sickly and Lee was crying.
"Hey fellas, you wanna go home?"
Lee's eyes foucsed and he mouther her name.
"That's right it me Lee."
She placed a small bomb in the door and stood back as it blasted the door apart from the frame and slipped inside. She walked over to them and shook them both.
"Lee, M...come on you two...wake up..."
she took Lee's face in between her hands and looked at his eyes.
"Your so far away...Lee...come back to me, please..."
She shook M again and gasped as he threw her off.
"What's the matter with you two?"
She looked up as a gaurd came in.
"Well, I see the welcome wagon has arrived."
She turned on her headset.
"I've found them, repeat, I have found M and Lee. I ned some back up guys and girls or all three of us'll be gone for good..."
Her com went dead as she begane to battle the witches for her life as well as M and Lee's.

OCC: I've been wondering where you've been Lyuann:)

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]Unexpectedly, all the witches suddenly dissapeared.......all those who surrounded the group in the streets...along with those attacking Ivy. Lee and M were only illusions created by the shadows. As quickly as they all appeared...they all vanished. Not one killed...not one left behind.

"Lee........" the visions began to fade away from them...still strapped to the iron pipe, the two men gasped for air as the pressure and intensity of thier visions subsided. "....Lee.....you alright..."

"Yea man.......what's going on..." replied Lee as he sat himself back up against the pole.

"I dont know..." both men were weak and exhausted...besides themselves they were completely alone in the darkness.

The pain got worse in M's arm as the needle could be felt pinching at his muscles.

"If I dont get some medical attention soon Lee, my arm is gonna get infected...I personally would like to keep my last arm." the two of them laughed...both trying to lessen the seriousness of the situation...keeping their minds clear.

"Can you use your powers yet M?" questioned Lee

"...No....." M closed his eyes...trying to focus his thoughts...."I can't......you gotta try Lee"

"I don't think that I can though..."

"yes you can..." M said with confidence...."just try..."

For about 10 minutes...Lee tried to let out a mental signal to anyone who might have been around them to help.

Suddenly...bursting through the concret wall...a pettete looking figured appeared from the glimmering light shown behind. M and Ivy shielded their eyes as they were freed and carried away by a few soldiers.[/SIZE] [/COLOR]

OCC: Sorry for rushing things...but demonchild has chosen to withdraw from darkness for the moment...so i've had to make some quick changes. sorry for ruining lyuaan saving M and lee but i said that no one was saving them anyway. The person who has saved me and lee are soldiers from the Heaven Project sent by Red who is led by a new character who I will be introducing...or she will be introducing herself to everyone. Soldiers carried M and Lee into the hotel

[B]?Lay them there. Now move away, they need air.? [/B] She moved around the 6 ft something soldiers and went over the two men. Her long red hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She was wearing kaki cargos, a white tank top, a two gun shoulder holster and wrap around sunglasses.

She knelt next to them and removed her shades. Her eyes were beautiful brown/red color [B]?How ya holdin up??[/B]

Lee blinked up at her and smiled [B]?What are you, an angel or something??[/B]

She laughed, [B]?Now there?s an interesting idea.? [/B]

She reached over and checked both men?s injuries. She nodded to herself and sat back on her heals, closing her eyes. M looked down at his arm as it cleared and knitted itself. They were both completely healed. M flexed his arm experimentally. He looked over at her and raised an eyebrow [B]?Not that I?m not grateful or anything, but who are you??[/B]

She offered him her hand [B]?Alexia. Heaven Project. I?m in charge of these soldiers, Red sent us, well? sent me anyway. Let?s get you boys off the floor and someplace more comfortable??[/B]

Half an hour later they sat in the small lounge type area outside the bedrooms at the top of the stairs. Alex had sent all but two of the soldiers out to look for the rest of the team. The two that stayed behind were downstairs in the bar keeping an eye on things.

[B]?? so after the Dec 31 tragedy, I went out looking for a new job. I was sick of sitting by and watching people die, I felt there had to be something I could about it. Turns out there is. That?s basically it about me.?[/B]

Lee looked like he was going to say something, but a soldier came up the stairs and interrupted them.

She nodded and stood as the team came up the stairs. One man was being carried by two soldiers, they laid him on the floor. He was unconscious. Alex went over and knelt beside him, listening to his chest and checking him for wounds. She closed her eyes and concentrated?

?My leg, it feels wet and numb.? Farel gently put Taikaru on the cement walk and looked at the leg. In the dark it was hard to tell but her leg was bleeding from a flesh wound.

*Wait a minute. Was I cut when I was fighting the shadowmelders or talking to that voice.* ?Farel I think we need to get to that bar now?
?We are in view of the roof right now?I think.? They headed down the walk and finally emerged out of the darkness at the front door of the bar.
?Hey you finally made it.? A bartender said from behind the counter. ?The others are up stairs. Seems important, you should get up there.?
?Thanks.? Farel said. Taikaru hung over Farel?s shoulder. Each step she took though made her clench her teeth. They could hear voices coming from the main room upstairs. They knew some of the voices but a couple were different. ?Taikaru we are almost in contact with M and everyone. How do you feel??
?A?bit?woozy but I?can hold out.? The cut on her leg let blood flow right out of it. Her vision was getting blurry. But she could still see that her blood was streaming down onto the floor. She saw Farel open the door.
?What the hell? Farel don?t?? She could see everyone looking at them.
?Put her on the floor.? A voice said. It was unknown to her.
?Alright Farel. Lee and me will help you.? She looked slowly at Farel her vision still somewhat intact. She could see Farel getting tired. Once she was laid on the floor she passed out.

Taikaru woke up to see M, Lee, Ivy, Andy, Eric, and most importantly Farel walking away. She stood up as the visions faded. ?That was weird.? There was nothing but black darkness all over. Splotches of old memories came up and even some fake events. ?Nothing special.? She saw her mother getting shot for the tenth time. She saw her father get eaten by the creatures of the virus. Nothing phased her. Then she saw Ivy blow up right in front of her. *Where in the world is this place?* Next she saw something a little horrifying. She saw her brother die. ?No! Wait is this a mind game. My brother really can?t be dead can he. Is this called fun hour for the one who struck me in the leg.?

[I]?Taikaru, can you hear me??[/I] She herd a faint voice. It was that same unknown voice. [I]?I think she is coming to.?[/I]
[I]?That was quick work.?[/I] She thought Farel said.
[I]?Comes with the healing territory.?[/I] She finally opened her eyes and saw a dark red haired women.
?Could someone tell me what just happened?? Taikaru sat up and said.
?Don?t get up so fast there. I only used enough power to heal your leg not prevent blood rush from the head.?

OOC: Sorry I've been away I've been busy with uni assignments. It'll be the same for the next few weeks, so here's a short post to keep me in it.

Farel hugged Taikaru as she sat on the floor. She looked a bit uncomfortable but she didn't seem to mind.

"Next time I'm carrying you," He said to her.

This seemed to make her blush. Farel helped her stand up.

"Thanks for helping her Alexia," He said.

"Don't worry about it," was the reply.

"Ok, some things need to be explained now." Farel began. " Like what happened to you guys. One moment you were taken by the enemy and then you are back here with a new member."

Eric looked around, an expanse of darkness surrounded him. He began to walk, trying to find his way back.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Hello, my love.'[/COLOR]

Eric jumped, turning around quickly. And there he was, staring at himself.

No, not himself. It was [I]him[/I]. He could tell by the eyes.

Blood red eyes.

[COLOR=Blue]'What do [I]you [/I]want?'[/COLOR] he said. The other shrugged.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'To help you find your way back.'[/COLOR] he said.

Eric looked at him, skeptical.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'You don't trust me?'[/COLOR] he said, [COLOR=DarkRed]'I'm hurt.'[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue]'Go to hell.'[/COLOR] Eric said. The other laughed.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'But, my precious, if I went to Hell, I'd have to take you with me.'[/COLOR]

Eric turned away, beginning to walk, again.

Eric ignored him and kept walking.

Alex was standing, leaning against a wall sipping coffee. It had drained her a little to heal so much in a short span. The team looked at her questioningly

[B]"Who are you again?" [/B] Andy asked, sitting next to M.

[B]?I'm Alexia. Heaven Project. I?m in charge of the soldiers, we rescued M and Lee. Red sent me."[/B] Alex sounded a bit tired. She glanced over and saw the man who was still passed out, he started to twitch. She knelt beside him again, try to sense what was wrong. Alex had healed all his wounds, there hadn't been many. The rest of the team was healed with no problems. What was the problem here?

Alex looked at M [B]"What is his name?"[/B]

[B]"That's Eric."[/B] he turned to Andy [B]"What happened to him out there?"[/B]

Alex placed a hand on Eric's chest. The twitching stopped, but he was starting to sweat. She placed a cool hand on his head.

She turned to the group [B]"I've seen this before, he's going through a hallucination of some kind." [/B] She turned back to him [B]"Eric, can you hear me? Eric, I need you to follow my voice. Come on now, fight it. Listen to my voice Eric, fight it..."[/B]

He continued walking, until he reached a glowing white door that rose from the blackened ground. As he reached for it, the world around disappeared.

[COLOR=Blue][I]That voice, it can't be...[/I][/COLOR] he thought as he opened his eyes.

[COLOR=Blue]'Bloody hell...'[/COLOR] he said, his head pounding as he looked up at Alex.

He stayed silent after that.

[COLOR=DimGray]In the washroom Taikaru was looking through the mirror. *I said I would give Farel something so I will.* Taikaru went to the closet and got a towel with small designs on it. She turned on the water, set the towel on the rack, and started to strip down. The steam emanating from the shower filled the room and kept it moist. The tile on Taikaru?s bare feet was rough but smooth. She was finally got into the shower and began to think. *If it was him then why did he know me but not express joy, love, happiness. Yet even if it wasn?t him then why didn?t he express any feelings. There was no happiness, anger, surprise, or anything with in his voice. And what is with that nobody talk. I really alone right now.* The water rinsed down her body as she got her shampoo ready. It smelled of cherry. It felt refreshing to her. *I should really take these thoughts off my mind. I should relinquish these thoughts to Farel. I believe he can help. He is one I trust fully now. I don?t have any doubt in my mind that I can?t trust him.* She started to squeeze the shampoo bottle. After realizing the liquid was pouring down her hand and arm she put the bottle down. The steam stopped as Taikaru turned off the shower. *Maybe I should establish this with M. No wait. I got other important business with him later. I need to talk to him about the shadowmelders. He was captured with Lee so he must have some kind of information.* She dried herself off and exited through the shower door. She pulled out some jeans and a green T-shirt. She got on her clothes and started to brush her hair down to its normal state. Finally she came out of the washroom and went to hers and Farel?s room. ?Hi Farel.? Taikaru said in a hopeful voice. He turned around and gawked for a minute.
?Uhh?Taikaru you look?different.?
?Farel I have to talk to you about something.? Farel was finally pulled away from her appearance.
?Oh yes what is it Taikaru.? Taikaru turned around and shut the door after looking up and down the hall to check if anyone was there.
?Farel when you went to look for me tonight I was??
?It is ok Taikaru. You don?t have to tell me.?
?But I must. I think I was talking to?my?brother.?

?Almost certain. After hearing what he said I had to tell you Farel.?

?While I was there, before you came, some other presence came over the balcony above. It was a dark figure that I couldn?t quite make out. Also my brother never talked about himself.?

?Never mind.? Taikaru knew it was about her new look. ?Shall we go to check up on Eric?? Taikaru just nodded and they walked into the room. Only a few were there. M, Alex, Andy, and Eric of course. But Eric was on his feet.
?Taikaru how is your leg?? Alex asked. Taikaru forgot about her injury from before but she couldn?t see even the slightest scar.

Looking over at Alex, Andy inspected the petite figure. She mustn't much, but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Her skills were obvious. Healing Eric and Taikaru must have been a small feat.

Andy wiped her head from sweat. She had used the majority of her energy in her rage. Shaking her head at herself, Andy looked at the ground.
" You're going to get yourself killed one day from that. Then where would you leave M?"

" Andy?" M questioned her. Andy looked up and smiled at him.
" Oh nothing....just ..... doing the normal..."
" Punishing yourself?"
" In a manner of speaking..."
M scowled at her. " You know I don't like it when you do that."
" I know love, but it's the only way I can figure out my weaknesses and improve on them."
" Oh Andy..."
She kissed him lightly on the cheek. " It's ok M. I won't do it out aloud next time."

When M tried to move his arm, his lips grimaced in pain. He held his arm with the other.
" M? Are you okay?" Andy asked, holding his injured arm with both of her hands.
" I think the needle part of the syringe is still in my arm when they took some of my blood," M gasped from the pain.
" Don't move it.... Alex.... please.... could you help?" Andy asked the new-comer.
" Sure," Alex said before walking over to them.

Slowly, Alex drew the syringe out of M's arm. She had to pierce his skin again. M grimaced in pain. Andy watched on helplessly.

Alex knelt by M's arm [B]"I knew I should have been a nurse... shame I enjoy kicking the bad guy's ass so much." [/B] M grinned then grimaced in pain. [B]"OK, I know it hurts, hang on.... there we go. " [/B]

Alex removed the needle and threw it away. She placed a hand over the opening and it knitted again. She patted M on the shoulder and went down to the bar. Her soldiers were standing around like none of them dared relax. The bartender met her on the stairs

[B]?Sure, sorry for the inconvenience.? [/B] She walked over to them.

The 6? ft something men nodded and most filed out. The two that must have been Jack and Chris stood in front of her, waiting for further instruction. [B]?Ok, at ease boys, have a drink, and blend a little. I just want you to keep guard for us until tomorrow so everyone can relax and rest.?[/B]

[B]?Yes ma am.? [/B] They went over to a table near the stairway. Alex shook her head and went back up the stairs to see how everyone was getting on. [COLOR=DimGray]Taikaru stared in horror of what their new enemy knew. ?If this is true then I confiscated the right documents. I will have to leave this with M.? She walked away from her bed and went towards the door. She went to the main room upstairs and didn?t find anyone there. It was empty and almost completely dark. Turning around she saw that the hall going back was starting to turn off its lights. It was beginning to close down. Eventually she found the stairs and a few straggling customers. She only saw two of the soldiers left drinking beer and Alex at the counter. ?Taikaru, how are you??

Next there is Telekinesis which is M?s and Lee?s powers. Now if I understand this seeing major horror in someone?s memory will cause them to be weakened for a short time and have a chance to be killed. All they would have to do to Farel is cover him in dust or something like that. But how can you cover an unseen enemy in dust. Finally there is this transformation. I saw this when Eric killed the shadowmelders. They don?t know anything about it. Wait I?m forgetting about me. They put my power on top for some reason. Anyway I don?t know what it means to have severe emotion when transmuting something. If that is my weakness I haven?t experienced it. Lee has experienced his as well as M and Andy. I wonder why they don?t have Ivy down. Do they even know she is on our team? It is all mystery. What I can get out of this is as confusing as M?s past.* She sighed and closed her eyes. ?What will we do if they exploit these weaknesses?? She opened her eyes to a knock on the door.
?Taikaru you in there. You said you needed me.? M said from outside.
?Yeah come in M.? Taikaru said getting off the bed. M looked at her when he came in and observed.
?I see that you have changed your uniform.?
?It wasn?t a uniform M. It was just clothes. Why am I talking about clothes??

?Well I want you to take these and keep them safe.? She handed M the documents. ?These are documents I confiscated. I want you to keep them safe.?

?Does it matter where I got them? I took them and it has a full description of everyone?s powers except for Ivy?s and Eric?s for some reason.?

[CENTER][COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]M was exhausted...the physical and mental torture which he and Lee endured was indescribable. Andy sat on his right side obviously worried about him...she had feared that she had lost him...he didn't want her to worry, but of course that wasn't possible he thought to himself...she loved him, and he for her.

Wrapping his right arm around Andy's shoulders, he brought her close...leaning her head up against his chest, he placed his left hand on her cheek as he gracefully played skin and hair...comforting her. He could feel that she was tired as well...the battle with those witches must have been hard.

"...I'm sorry that had to happen Andy..." she could feel his warmth being pressed against hers. Even with her having the power of the flame, there wasn't anything quite like M's warmth.

"It's ok...I just worry about you sometimes M. You've endured enough...and I wasn't there to help you."

M hugged her tight, ashuring her otherwise..."I know my love...as you know I worry for you as well. I'm overjoyed to see how far you've come with yourself...how far we've come..."

Andy glanced up at him, her eyes sparkling from the light shining upon them through her soft tears. M kissed her passionately and leaned his forehead up against hers...

"I'll alway love you Andy...whether I'm apart in body...never will I be in heart. Never forget that..."

"I won't M..." her hand reached for his and grasped it tighty.

"You should rest Andy...you look tired..." motioned M as he kissed her on the forehead.

"And what about you?" she replied as she stood up from the bed and began to undress herself...

"I've gotta figure something out first...check up on everyone...and hopefully sort all of this out."

"Yea...I haven't seen anything of Jace at all." she added...

M sighed for a moment...knowing exactly what that entailed..."So he's gone....damn....I'm going to talk to his superiors and get the all the information I can myself. I'll be in bed soon alright Andy.''

"Sure...love you.'' as M began to walk outside the bedroom. He looked back at her...both of them loved one another so much..it was as if they were already married.

"Love you too hun...I'll be back soon." as he turned to leave...a thought came upon Andy. She couldn't comprehend how he could always stay so come...his strength unflinching...sometimes she just didn't understand...but loved him even more for that. She slipped herself underneathe the covers and drifted off to sleep.

M made his rounds to where everyone else was...Taikaru told him of the list which she had found...this concerned both of them...M told her that they all would talk about it the next morning and start from there.

"Alex..."

"Yes M" as Alex turned around to acknowledge him...

"Do you have a direct comm. to home base?"

"Yes...what do you need it for?"

"Information...can I please have it..."

"Sure.." as she pulled out what looked like a head-set from her pack.

"Thank you Alex...for everything." as he took the head-set from her hands.

"No problem...I'm happy to help." she seemed to blush at the compliment from the leader of the group.

M slightly bowed to her and began to use the head-set to get in touch with the base.

"Commander Red..."

"yes M...go ahead..."

"I need some information...I need a number for Jace's superiors...I need to talk to them..."[/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]
OOC: Again, I apologize for Jace's sudden dissapearance...and I'm trying to change the story accordingly. You all are doing great...and I understand that people are busy with other things so dont worry about it. Just dont be too long inbetween posts. Once everyone gets settled in....the next morning M will be telling everyone the details of the situation and not Jace which was originally planned.
