RPG Darkness Falls: The Shadows Of Man [M-LSV]

Ivy was on the floor doing push ups, she had reverted back to her origanal state fro the moment. She had lost her cool when everything had gone askew, she burned with shame at the very thought of it now.


[COLOR=DarkOrange]The witches were every where and she had Lee and M behind her, than all of a sudden things changed and she found that it was all a vison. She had lost it than, thinking that she was to late and that something terrible had happened to them, she began to panic and scream. She remembered the last explosion where she was, her whole body had glowed yellow and the next thing she knew she was being woken up by a new comer and Lee was standing there laughing and safe. She had fucked up and paniced with no thought of it. She had let personal problems into her job.[/COLOR]


She put one arm behind her back and began to do one hand push up's, her body shaking from the exherstion. Lee was in the shower and had been there for a while, he came from the shower to see Ivy on the floor, her chest heaving, sobs coming from her imobil form.
"Ivy! You okay?"
She sobed and let him flip her over.
"I fucked up Lee, I paniced when I found out I didn't find you, I could have been a danger to the mission...Do you remember the last time I went out of controol? I attacked you and Andy...I'd hate it if something like that happened again...I'd never forgive my self."
She allowed Lee to hold her as she cried, something he was not used to seeing her do. She looked up at him and threw her arms around his neck hugging him tight. She swallowed her tears enough to whisper in his ear lightly.
"I thought I had lost you back there...I was so scared..."

Eric sat alone in the tavern, away from everyone else there. His guitar sat in his lap, freshly tuned and waiting to be played.

Now, if only he could bring distract himself enough to do it.

'Hey, there.'

Eric jumped, turning to see who'd spoken as Alex plopped down in the chair in front of him.

'A bit jumpy, huh?' she said.

He slouched in the chair and sighed.

'Maybe,' he said, 'What can I do for you?'

She smiled at him, 'I was actually wondering if there was something I could do for you.'

He looked at her, raising an eyebrow.

'What makes you think I need anything?' he asked her.

She shrugged.

'Well, whatever caused you to black out back there probably wasn't too pleasant.' she said, 'Maybe you want to talk about it?'

'Not really.' he said, standing and walking away.

'Fine,' she replied, 'I can't make you. You'll just have to deal with it on your own.'

Eric stopped.

'You don't want to get close to me.' he said, without turning.

'Why not?' she asked, 'We're going to be stuck together for a while. Why not get used to it?'

'I killed her.' he said, 'I killed them all.'

She stopped, 'Who..?'

'That New Years',' he said, 'I killed my mother, my father... my little sister, too. I killed her...'

'Oh, god...'

'I killed Eve...' tears were beginning to well up, 'The same night I was going to propose...'

He turned, looking her straight in the eye.

'And I did it... with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.'

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]It was 1 am in the morning. Andy woke, shivering in the bed. A light sheet only covered her naked body. And M hadn't returned to keep her warm. Sitting up with the sheet wrapped around her, Andy looked around to see M pacing the room, a head-set on his head. He was talking quietly into it.

" M?" Andy asked, looking at him with tired eyes.
" Andy ..... shhh.... go back to sleep my love."
" What are you doing?"
" Shhh ... go back to sleep..."
" You need it too."
" I'll come and join you once I'm finished."

Andy scowled at him. She hated it when he didn't tell her what she was doing.
" M..."
" Andy, it's ok. I'm just talking to Headquarters."
" All right..."

She lay in the bed, awake, waiting for M to join her. Taking another blanket and putting it over her, Andy listened to the soft coversation M was having over the head-set. It was about Jace's disappearance and Alex's new-coming. Something about information, but that was all Andy could make out.

Lieing there in the darkness, Andy wondered what the hell was going on. Eric went absolutely spastic in their last fight. Taikaru changed her appearance somehow. Ivy was afraid to go ballastic. So many things had happened in such a short space of time. It was like old times.

The rustle of clothes made Andy turn over and look at M undressing.
" Are you coming to bed?" she asked hopefully.
" Yes."
Andy sighed, a smile spreading across her face. M walked around the bed and climbed into the other side. Andy again turned over to see M looking at her. They were face to face. She smiled. He smiled back. She moved herself to have herself snuggled at his side while he lay on his back.

" I love you M...." Andy said as she fell asleep again. This time feeling more comforted by M's presence.
" I love you too Andy," M whispered his reply before falling asleep.[/COLOR][/FONT]

[Astdis]

Alex sat there stunned. [I]She blamed herself for her brother?s death, but it wasn?t like this. The fact that he was telling her? he didn?t even know her, there must be something?[/I]
[B]?Why are you telling me this?? [/B]

[B]?I?.? [/B] he paused and stood there, staring into space. He turned and looked past her. Something softened in his eyes. His voice was almost inaudible [B]?You remind me of her.?[/B]

Alex blinked at him. Then she nodded. [B]?Come on, sit down.?[/B]

He did, but he stared at the floor past her.

She wasn?t sure what to do. [I]Should she reach out to him? No, he?d probably run. Maybe she could keep him talking?[/I]

[B]?What triggered it??[/B]

Eric shook his head and placed it in his hands [B]?Eve was wonderful, a voice like an angel? tuff but caring, like you?? [/B] he was quiet then.

Alex smiled a little at the high complement, but her face went right back to concerned

[B]?But what??[/B]

[B]?I DON'T KNOW OK!? [/B] he jumped out of the chair. Alex stared at him. He ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. He then sat back down and looked at her.

Alex couldn?t help but get defensive [B]?Look, I?m sorry, I?m just trying??[/B]

He stopped her [B]?I know, I know you are. I just don?t know what you want me to tell you.?[/B]

Alex threw her hands in the air [B]?I?m just trying to figure out the reason for it so maybe I can help you stop it? I don?t know??[/B]

[B]?Thank you?[/B]

Alex looked at him. His head was back in his hands again.

[B]?I was afraid, of loosing those close to me? and it happens. The ?other me? comes out, like I didn?t have control? and I didn?t.?[/B]

Alex just sat there and nodded. There was little else she could do. After a moment, Eric lifted his head and looked at her. Tears that had fallen during his confession glittered on his cheeks. She reached out instinctively but hesitated. He didn?t jerk away. Alex wiped away the tear, then pulled her hand back. He gave a small smile.

[B]?Thanks.?[/B]

Alex shrugged and he put a hand out toward her [B]?No, seriously, thank you. You?re the first person I?? [/B] he sighed and looked at her sincerely in the eye [B]?You?re a good person?[/B]

Alex smiled [B]?I try to be. Heck, you?ve seen me heal, wait till you see me fight.? [/B] Her attempt to lighten the mood seemed to be appreciated

[B]?So, does it drain you to heal like that??[/B]

[B]?It does when healing others yes. Thus the sub in front of me. This was enough food for one of my boys I swear.?[/B]

He laughed a little and nodded.

[B]?After this I guess I?ll crash on the couch.?[/B]

Eric nodded then looked thoughtful[B] ?Look, I don?t think Jace is coming back, at least I hope not, and after all you did for us, for me, tonight, you shouldn?t have to sleep on a couch. There?s an open bed in my room, it?s yours.?[/B]

Alex smiled at him [B]?Thanks, really. I appreciate it. To sleep on a real bed? I?ve been traveling for awhile, it?ll be the best sleep I've had in weeks.?[/B]

[COLOR=DimGray]Laying down in bed Taikaru couldn?t wait to just see what happens. It was too much like being bait. ?I really need a drink.? Taikaru got out of bed and walked down the silent hall. Actually it was mostly silent. She could hear Andy and M talking in their room. Going down stairs she saw that a few members of the heaven team were still up. Eric and Alex were talking about something really emotional. She looked away from them but laid her eyes right on the guards. They were asleep on the table with a couple empty mugs of beer. ?Honestly if this is how Red?s men act, I can?t imagine what they would be like in combat.? Taikaru walked on to the counter. Nobody was working now but it felt good to just sit and relax. No shadowmelders or thoughts that disturbed her. It was just Taikaru and the counter. She was getting tired from staying up too long. She herd something going on by Alex and Eric but she didn?t care. *I guess I should get some rest.* Taikaru headed up the stairs again. Eric and Alex still up were talking intensely now. She got to her bedroom and opened it to see Farel taking up the entire bed. ?That is what I get for accepting one full bed.? She found a spot on the floor comfortable enough to lay on. She got some towels from the closet and went to sleep.

?It would be my pleasure.? Taikaru ran at the misty figure. It nimbly dodged her attack. Then she lunged again at it. It dodged again. She continuously struck and the parasite continuously dodged.
?This is never ending Taikaru. Maybe you should try to accept the fact that you are going to be in a coma for the rest of your life.?

?Because of a loved one. Now that makes me laugh. No one is loved or cherished. It is all destruction. Time moves forward never back. Your mistakes are what make you die a little quicker. Now this is the biggest mistake you made so die.?
?No because I hate having biological parasites in me.? This time Taikaru put her hands to the floor, where ever that was, and trapped the misty form in a enclosed cage. She lunged at it and destroyed it.

-Reality

The alarm was ringing and Taikaru sat up. The morning had came and she turned it off. She got on some clean clothes and got herself ready.[/COLOR]

OOC: The parasite is only meant for me to the new enemy. Don?t think it is something big.

Eric lay on his bed, the night's events replaying in his mind.

[COLOR=DarkRed][I]'I wouldn't get too attached, if I were you.'[/I][/COLOR]

Eric let out a breath, [COLOR=Blue][I]Back off.[/I][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed][I]'But, you know you'll lose this one, as well. Don't you?'[/I][/COLOR]

Eric urned his head, seeing Alex on the bed across the room. Her red hair showing above the blanket.

[COLOR=DarkRed][I]'She'll die, just like the other one.'[/I][/COLOR]

Eric closed his eyes.

[COLOR=Blue][I]I doubt that.[/I][/COLOR]

The other one chuckled, [COLOR=DarkRed]'And how is that? If you don't kill her, something else will.'[/COLOR]

Eric looked over, again. She looked peaceful. She wasn't kidding when she said she'd get a good night's sleep.

[COLOR=Blue]I won't let that happen.[/COLOR] he thought, closing his eyes.

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Like last time?'[/COLOR] the other said.

Eric didn't answer. Instead, he simply let unconsciousness take him.

?I told you, they had to leave us.?

?Why would they leave us?? the little girl looked at her feet ?Did I do something wrong??

?No kiddo, no? he knelt next to her and took her hand ?They had to go, it wasn?t anyone?s fault. But they left me to protect you.?

Alex blinked her eyes, the dream fading. Sun was streaming through the blinds. She pulled herself up and looked at the other bed. Eric was still asleep. She grabbed her bag and went into the bathroom, splashing water on her face. Alex looked up at the mirror and smiled. That had been one of the best sleeps she?d had in days. Alex fingered the pendent that hung around her neck. It was a copper colored coin that had belonged to Trace. He told her it brought luck. He wore it everyday.

Alex went, took a shower, blow-dried her hair and dressed, walking back out into the bedroom. She was wearing a white tank and army green cargos. Eric was up, sitting on the edge of his bed.

[B]?Sorry I was a bathroom hog this morning??

?No, it?s alright, I just woke up anyway.?

?Oh, ok. Well, it?s yours now?[/B] she smiled [B]?I?m going to go find some coffee and see what the plan is this morning.?[/B]

Farel woke up and noticed that Taikaru wasn't in bed with him. He also noticed that he was spread across the whole bed. [I]Oops[/I], was the first thing that came to his mind. He heard the sound of running water being turned off in the bathroom. He sat on the edge of the bed. Soon Taikaru came out dressed in her new style.

"Sorry about last night," He said. "You should have just woken me up."

"Don't worry about it," She replied.

He looked at her from his position.

"Are you okay? You look pale." He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine"

"Come here," he said patting his knee.

She walked over to him and sat on his lap.

"I like the new look." He said.

"Thanks," she replied blushing slightly.

"You know there is something I've been meaning to do for a while," He said.

"What," She replied.

"This," He said as he leaned over and kissed her passionately.

He stopped and looked at her. She was surprised but he could also see a smile forming at the side of her mouth.

OOC: I'll let you take it from here Kiba. I'm assuming that because Farel seems to be Taikaru's first love that this is also her first kiss.

Eric grabbed some clothes out of his bag and headed into the shower. A few minutes later, the door opened and steam poured out. Eric walked out in a pair of heavy leather pants and black boots, shaking his fingers through his hair to dry it off a bit.

Something was... missing. He couldn't place his finger on it, until...

[COLOR=DarkRed]'Morning, sunshine!'[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue]'Bloody hell...'[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue]'You think?'[/COLOR] Eric said, exiting the room.

Eric turned to see Alex standing behind him, two cups of coffee in her hands.

[COLOR=Blue]'You didn't...'[/COLOR]

She held one of the cups out for him, [COLOR=Lime]I didn't know how you like it, so I just made it the same as I like it.[/COLOR]

He smiled and took the cup, [COLOR=Blue]'Thanks.'[/COLOR] he said, sipping it.

[COLOR=Blue]'This is great.'[/COLOR] he said.

[B]?Awesome, glad you like it? [/B] Alex said smiling at him, plopping down in an armchair, her legs dangling over the arm

[/B] Eric looked relieved that she was staying. [I]He was kinda cute, the way his hair fell in his face as he drank his coffee. Whoa! Was she seriously checking him out?[/I]

She shook her head as if to try and clear it and took a long drink of coffee

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Sunlight filtered through the thin curtains. Andy's eyes fluttered open. She sat up slowly and looked around. M had disappeared from her side. She heard the shower going in the bathroom next door.

Getting out of bed, Andy walked over to the door and just opened it. She could see M's misty figure behind the misty glass shower door. Slowly she crept in, not making a single sound. She shut the dor silently behind her. A wicked grin crossed her face.

Andy carefully took off her clothes without making any sound. She walked over to the shower and carefully slid in behind M. He must have been deep in thought because he didn't notice any of what she had done already. Andy leant into M without touching him. He turned around under the water, facing her. His eyes were closed as he let the water run down his body.

Softly, Andy leant in and kissed M on the lips. He kissed back, still in his deep thought. She ran her hands down over his shoulders and down his sides before M realised who joined him. He jumped a little. Andy had become marvelous at hiding her emotions when creeping up on him.

" Andy.... you surprised me!"
" That's what I was wanting to do fool."
M chuckled. He liked this new, more playful Andy. " Heh. Come and attack me in the shower are you?"
Andy put on an angelic thinking face. " Yup!"
M laughed again and put his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to him.

" Now now M, no frisky business here in the shower," Andy mocked playfully. M couldn't help himself but laugh.
" You, Andy, have changed a lot."
" I've learned to trust everyone a bit better. And I learned a lot more other things about life. And most of them are thanks to you M. You made me open up."
" Indeed. It's a change for the better. Even your powers have benefitted from it."
" True true."
" So..." M pinned Andy against the wall. " What exactly did you have planned for now my dear Andromeda?"

Andy's eyes widened. " That's the first time you've ever called me by my whole name."
" Indeed I have."
Andy smiled and kissed him deeply. M pulled out of it with a big smile on his face. " The little pleasures in life."
Andy smiled again. " Indeed."
They both laughed before finishing in the shower and dried themselves off.

Once they were dressed, the two made their way down to the hall underneath their rooms. M ordered breakfast as Andy sat at the huge wooden table, her head laying in her arms.
" Witches huh? And they don't seem to be affected by any of our abilities. What next?"[/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=DimGray]Taikaru felt some kind of sensation. It felt warm. Her face expressed her happiness without her even able to control. ?My first kiss. I?m happy it was from you Farel.?
?I?m happy too Taikaru. Now come on let?s go down stairs.?
?Oh yes that meeting.?
?It was probably assembled at last minute call. I wonder what M could have discovered.? Taikaru gazed at Farel as he went for the door.
*I only hope that the file we have is the only file.*
?Come on Taikaru. M and the rest will be waiting.? Taikaru just gave a nod. She followed Farel through the halls and down the stairs. There were few costumers but they were all on the other end of the bar from the huge circular wooden table. Everyone was at the table except for Ivy and Lee.
?Great we got two more members. Now we just have to wait for that last two.? M said from across the table. The bartender came over to the table.
?Hello and good morning. What will you have??
?I will have a small glass of scotch.? Farel said.
?I will just have a glass of water.? Taikaru said.
?Ok anyone else? No one. Alright. I will be back with your drinks.? Taikaru observed every inch of the bar. The windows had sunlight peering through the windows. The drapes were glowing if they were closed. Then she looked at Farel. He was sitting there glowing in the light.
?Uhhh Taikaru your blushing.? Lee called from behind Farel. ?Something wrong??
?What Lee your down. Where is Ivy?? Taikaru asked trying desperately to change the subject.
?She is taking a shower for now. I think she will be in there awhile.?
?We will wait for her. She is another member of team heaven as well.?
?If we are going to wait I will come down with Ivy then. I won?t sit here and wait for her.? Taikaru said getting up. ?I will come down with her.? Taikaru went up stairs into her room first. She grabbed the monitor and turned it on.

?Taikaru please come in.? Taikaru took the verbal gesture and walked in the room closing the door quietly behind her. [/COLOR]

IVy came from the bathroom dressed and drying her hair.
"Hey Tai...how are you?"
Taikeru frowned and cleared her throat.
"I'm fine...must you call me that?"
"Yup. I have a question...have you noticed Lee acting weird lately?"
"Not that I know of...Why?"
"No reason, nice look."
"Thankyou."
"What did Frel think?"
Taikeru blushed lightly.
"Awww...how sweet."
"Ivy..."
"What it is, it's sweet."
Ivy teased Taikeru till she jumped up red in the face and embaressed.
"Tai...?"
Ivy screamed smileing as Taikeru chased her down the hall and to the meeting room where Ivy promtly hid behind Lee.
"What have you done now Ivy?" M asked.
"What? Nothing."
She smiled and took her seat smiling at Taikeru.

Ok Kairi I had enough wait. If your post is not up in three days I will go ahead and try to make up something of what you left us with. This is not mutany but it is just to let the story get on. I would understand it if there were only a few people posting but a lot of people are waiting on you. I know what I said in my pm to you earlier but now I don?t have anything to do. This is more over a desperate plea from me. I?m sorry if I sound a bit harsh but we are all waiting on you to do something. If you are still in the brainstorming stage it is a bit too long. Come up with something. If you want an idea just pm me to let me know. Finally after you have read this just delete it.

[CENTER][COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]As groggy and tired as everyone was...they all finally arrived to the resturant as M prepared some papers before him, trying to sort everything out.

"Sorry to have had you all get up so early...but I felt that it was necessary to inform you all on what's been going on...a lot's been changing so I've had to make some adjustments."

Everyone nodded and took a seat around the circular table...Andy as usual took a seat beside M as he kissed her.

"Alright...I know you all had an interesting night last night...I'm sure you all have met Alex" as he pointed to her spot on the table. Everyone said hello as she nodded in respect to everyone else...

"Now...to the matters at hand. Jace has apparently abandoned us...so I've been collecting as much information about the witches as possible. For starters...take this everyone...

M threw to everyone an necklace which contained a vial with some aqua looking liquid as it glowed.

"What's this for?" questioned Lee as he put the necklace around him...instantly he felt some kind of aura surround him.

"Woo...you're glowing a little bit." added Ivy as everyone did likewise.

"These are what will enable us to fight the witches and kill them. Apparently, Jace had more knowledge about these creatures than he let on...apparently...he was himself a witch."

Everyone quickly looked up in confusion..."of course he wasn't one of the witches that we were seeking after...but apparently, our abilities are different from that of a witch...some kind of energy differs their powers from ours. These vials contain something Jace had produced...a dampening source that will make themselves on the same plain as ours."

The team nodded in approval as a grin spread across their faces.

"this will make things a lot easier" responded Eric.

"Yes...it will...but we have a problem...something Taikaru has brought to our attention...whoever we're fighting up against...has detailed information about us all. And from what you all faced the other night...these shadowmelders...Taikaru...did you notice the fact that they had the same kind of powers are you?"

"Yes..." she said unnervingly...knowing what M was getting at.

"And Lee...do you remember having some blood taken from us while we were captured?"

Lee was frightened instantly at the thought of the other night...but simply nodded...

A half an hour later, Alex was back in the room, putting her shoulder holster on and attaching her knives to her boots and belt. She reached into her bag and pulled out her sword and placed that on her belt along with her extra magazines. She'd have to go down and dismiss the men. Then she'd meet back in the lounge with the rest of the group to decide what they were doing. Eric came in, leaned in the doorway and whistled.

[COLOR=DimGray][SIZE=1]Taikaru was upstairs with Farel getting on her mission equipment. Her guns and her blades. ?Farel?? Taikaru asked.
?Yes Taikaru?? Taikaru stood silent for a moment.
?Oh?nothing.? Taikaru stared at Farel while he got his stuff ready. Before she noticed she let a tear down her cheek. Turning quickly she got up off the bed. ?I?m going to make a rally group downstairs I hope to see you down there.?
?Alright Taikaru.? She stepped down the wooden steps but before her head had left the second floor she looked back down the hall. *Maybe this is a far dangerous mission than expected.* When she got down stairs there was already a group of people at the counters. She managed to spot only M and Andy in the crowd.
?Taikaru I presume your ready.? M said.
?Yes we should meet by the circular table again just to account for everyone.?
?Alright we have you, Andy, and me of course.?
?Very funny M.? Taikaru said. ?Come on I think the rest should be ready soon.?
?We will wait here.? Andy said.
?Fine I will see to it the rest get ready and accounted for.? Taikaru said making scowl at Andy for being somewhat defensive. Taikaru sat down at the circular table and put her feet up on the chair next to her. The first one to come down was Lee. He was silent but sat down at the table anyway. He appeared to be in a deep thought. The next three to appear at the same time were Ivy, Alex, and Eric. Alex and Eric started to talk quietly when they sat down. Ivy went towards Lee and broke him out of his trance. Finally Farel came down.
?Looks like the rally thing is good for you.?
?Actually they all sat without me saying a word.? With everyone eager M came over to the table with Andy.
?Now Ladies and Gentlemen, as I informed you these enemies of ours have duplicates of us. They may even have them now. Be careful out there. We will investigate the place where me and Lee were taken to when we were captured. That should give us some lead.? M announced. Everyone nodded in agreement and headed out the door. They consulted amongst themselves while walking except for Taikaru, Farel, M, and Andy. They walked silently. That was until Andy said something about how bad the shampoo was at the bar. Without Farel or Taikaru saying a word they reached the site. ?Here it is. Now search everywhere.?
?M are we searching in groups or solo?? Taikaru asked.
?Good point. Now Lee, Andy, and I will search here at the beginning of this tunnel. Taikaru and Farel you will search in the mid point. I think that is around the area where me and Lee got our blood removed. Finally Eric, Ivy, and Alex please look at anything that goes deeper than that. If you find something call me up on the intercom.? Taikaru looked at the hole made by the guards. There was no telling where it led to. M tossed a rope down but Lee floated down using his telekinesis. Farel, M, Andy, Ivy, Eric, Alex, and Taikaru went down the rope. They slid down pretty fast. Once at the bottom they split into their assigned groups.
?Taikaru you have been silent for quite awhile now.?
?What? Oh have I really been that quiet??
?Oh well it doesn?t matter. At least we got to a room.? They looked around and there was a bed with medical tools strewn along the walls and the floor.
?This is one badly kept room.? Taikaru said while walking over some tools on the floor.
?This must be where M and Lee got there blood extracted.?
?But wait Farel. If they have M?s and Lee?s blood and their names are on the list I gave to M then what about us. Our names were on that list as well as a few others. Except Ivy?s, and Alex?s names aren?t on the sheet.?

Alex looked around. There was a long tunnel that seemed to be lit by emergency lights. With the rubble the place looked deserted.

Eric looked over at Alex [B]?So, what are we looking for??[/B]

[B]?Anything suspicious, or dangerous, whichever comes first.? [/B]

Ivy smirked at her for that and they kept walking. There were empty metal medical tables knocked into the path and against the walls. Eric shifted some of the rubble and a liquid among glass chips glistened in the dim light. [I]Whoever had been down there had left in a hurry when she and the guards had blasted through[/I]. Ivy handed Eric a vile and he took a sample before they moved on. They turned a corner and the rubble abruptly stopped. The lighting was the same, but the hall was completely empty. No doors, no tables, nothing.

Ivy looked around [B]?Weird?[/B]

Alex nodded. They walked on until Alex heard a hollow pop, like a thin piece metal being leaned on. She turned quickly and started pushing on the floor behind them with her foot. Ivy and Eric caught on quick. She heard the noise again.

Eric grinned [B]?Jack-pot?[/B]

He knelt down and started feeling for a crack or seem. He pulled up and the revealed a stairway.

[B]?Yeah Alex, whatcha got??

?Stairway, we?re going down.?

?Alright. Be careful?

Ivy nodded to her [B]?So, who?s first??[/B]

They climbed down the stairs and opened into a square cement room with three doors.

[B]?Shit, times like this we need someone for gun fodder?[/B]

Eric and Ivy chuckled and Alex opened the first door on the left. They walked out onto a metal over look, with another staircase going down into the dark. Eric pulled out a flood light.

[B]?Whoa?[/B]

The room was huge, with beds stacked four high and 16 across. They walked down the stairs and started examining the bunks. Whoever or whatever had been in there had left in a hell of a hurry.

Alex leaned over one of the bunks. There was something metal sticking out from under a pillow. She pushed that aside. It was a computer chip. She picked it up.

[B]?Eric, shine the light this way?

Alex nodded and put it in her pocket.

[B]?Uh, guys??[/B]

[B]?What??[/B] they walked over to where Ivy was standing. She was looking up at the bottom of one of the bunks. There was a small, flashing red light.

?Just one sec.? Taikaru took out a small smoke grenade. ?I wonder why Red even gave us these.? She opened it up and smoke poured through the room. They both saw red lasers on the ground. ?We stepped over them. How could the alarm go off??
?Maybe it wasn?t us. Maybe it was?oh crap.? Farel said taking off running. Taikaru caught on quick and ran after him. They ran down the hall talking to each other. ?It wasn?t us who tripped the alarm. It was Alex, Eric, and Ivy. They are in more serious danger than anyone.?
?I got that part down. But why would electricity still be running to this area??
?Remember that report M gave us.?

?That one didn?t you find it odd that Ivy?s name wasn?t on there and that Eric was unknown.?

?They got all three of the people they don?t have powers of down in the deepest part of the underground building. Alex, Eric, and Ivy are down there. We have to get them out.?

?No because this is their chance to exploit the last of our members? weaknesses. If they accomplish that they will have no problem kidnapping and extracting their blood.?
?In other words we, as two people already registered, go in and try to save the three people that aren?t registered, don?t have written weaknesses, and can do some powerful things with their abilities, while we come in, as being already registered and all, get are asses kicked and still try to save them anyway.?
?That is the plan.?
?Sounds good to me. Let?s go.? Farel and Taikaru ran down trying to get Eric or Alex on the receiver. They finally came to a dead end. ?So what now Farel??
?I?m working on it.? Farel walked forward and herd a popping noise. The noise you get when you bend metal. ?What was that?? He walked over the area again making the same popping noise. Farel tried to lift the area with his fingers but was unsuccessful.
?Here let me try.? Taikaru put her palms to the ground and created a sword out of the door. ?This will only last for a few minutes so please let?s make this quick.?
?Right.? Farel and Taikaru went down the staircase that had been revealed. They went down the steps into the pitch black. ?Taikaru pull out your flashlight. I can?t see the next step.? Farel whispered. Taikaru flipped on her flashlight so Farel could find his. There was a huge room. There were thousands of bunks. They reached the bottom step just in time to see a shade of something.
?Uhhh Farel do you know what the hell that was??
?Not sure. All I know is that is looked invisible.?
?How can something LOOK invisible? You can?t see it.?
?Sure why don?t we ask them.? Taikaru flashed her light straight in front of her. The maze of bunks were all over. ?Wait I just had a thought. If these things are invisible that must mean that they have already created some alternative beings copying our abilities. As you saw the witches we fought earlier and now these beings that can become invisible on command.?
?Oh thank god!? a figure said as it emerged from one of the bunks.[/COLOR][/SIZE]
