?Princess, Princess.? Princess Poppy had heard her ladies in waiting kept calling her name, but she just ignored them. She was dress like a man and she was planning her escape. She had tried by many times before, but her plans where always ruined by her ladies.

She stood on the ledge of the caste wall and the wind whipped back the hood of her cape revealing her auburn hair. Poppy took a chance and looked down, she shouldn?t have done that. It had made her dizzy. Hundreds of feet down she saw the workers in the castle go about their business.

Poppy shook her head on concentrated on her task ahead. ?Poppy!? On her ladies poked her head through a window next to her. Poppy caught by surprised lost her grip on the castle wall. Two hands reached down and grasped at Poppy. The two ladies pulled Poppy through the window.

A pile of clothes and hair was that can be seen on the floor. ?My Lady please never try that again.? The younger of the two ladies in waiting pleaded.

?You had us so worry.? The two were panting.

She looked at the two faces and felt a pang of guilt the two had been searching for and she must of put them through much. Footsteps could be heard coming down the long hallway. The three of them scrambled to their feet and tried not to look too disheveled.
?Come.? She pulled the two and made her way back to her room.

?My Lady your Father has been calling for you. That is why we have been searching for you.?

?Clearly you can?t go in those clothing either.?

She wanted to let out a groan, but she had to keep a peaceful appearance. Besides it was know use taking out on the two of them, they where just following her Father orders.

After they had finished helping her change Poppy had got them off her trail so she could go see what her Father wanted. As she enters the main hall she put on her mask, the mask of a proper princess.

?There you are my daughter,? Her Father came down and hugged her. [I]So he is putting a show today is he.[/I] The two hardly spoken unless he wanted her to do something. ?We have been waiting for you.? She looked at the group sitting at a table.

She took her place and the meeting began. She didn?t understand why she was here; her Father never let her sit in on the policies before. She would put on the mask of patience for now. He will reveal it soon.

What seemed like for hours, he was finally going to give the reason why she was here. ?Now my friends I am to tell you the real reason why we are all here. I please to announce that my daughter Princess Poppy will be married to Prince Oran.?

Poppy almost dropped out of her seat in shock. She wouldn?t marry him or anyone else for that matter and her Father will not forth her either. As the nobles around the table where saying the congratulations, Poppy grew more angry. ?No I will not marry Princess Oran.?

Her Father?s face turned bright red, from embarrassment or rage; Poppy did not know and didn?t even care. ?You will or else.?

?I will not? She stormed out of the main hall into her room. ?I will not.?

Overview:

So this is a story about a spoiled Princess. I will be playing Princess Poppy Primrose. Her Father is making her marry Prince Oran, in the next kingdom over. As they are traveling to Oran?s kingdom, Poppy falls in love with the Captain of her Father?s guards.

[B]Personality[/B]: A very caring and loving person. You would never have to think twice before asking if she would do something for you, it was always yes. Rarely ever getting into fights, actually she has never gotten into a fight in her life.

This may have been why Marigold was chosen above all the other women to be one of the two ladies in waiting for the Princess. Loveing and caring are key qualities for Marigold, this is why she was hired to teach the princess proper manners and how to avoid fights.

[B]Bio[/B]: Marigold was born into a very wealthy family. She was never spoiled with it, nor bragged about it either. She didn?t like to go to big balls and act all stuck-up just because she had some money. It just wasn?t her way of doing things. This made her parents very mad that she wasn?t acting like a proper lady.

At the age of 16 there was going to be a big ball that everyone was going to attend. As you already know, Marigold did not want to attend such a thing. Her parents became furious with her and forced her to stay in the house until she gets married.

Being depressed Marigold befriended the animals that lived outside her window. The birds would sing and the deer would come and nuzzle her hand. Even though she was confined to one room she made the best of it.

This made her parents even madder. They sent her off to the kingdom to become a lady-in-waiting for Princess Poppy. Marigolds parents surely thought that she would be sent back because of the way she acted. They were wrong, she made the cut and never returned to her parents again.

OOC: I am sorry this bio is kinda... umm off. But I am just kinda weird at the second, sorry.

Personality: He's a gentle man and doesn't like to hurt anyone.

Bio: Hearing him getting married to Princess Poppy was a shock to him. He hadn't been once warned that he was gonna get married. He knew Princess Poppy was pretty and all but he wasn't ready for a wedding. He is pretty much getting freak out and pretty mad that his parents had arranged a marriage without his permission.

Personality: At heart he's a very loyal, and caring person. However that's not how he acts on the outside on the outside he acts eccentric. At moments his true nature arises, but they are not that common. Monkey tends to talk alot and make jokes about people, even if they don't make sense. If Monkey ever says something that has offened yo he will immeditaly take it back and aplogize for it.

Bio: Mitch wanted to be a poet, when he grew up. Unfortunately he couldn't come up with a poem to save his life. He figured if he became a guard, he would be able to travel and see new things. When he got there he was a shy person and no one talked to him so he out on a persona to make him popular. His nickname Monkey comes from the fact that his persona was that of a playful prankster.

He soon devloped a profile as being a bit of a slack off. But he was still able to become a guard. This will be his first mission as part of an escort party.

He lets nothing stand in his way of duty nor does he allow insolence in his guards. He is a man who?s duty to is to protect and serve those who are higher than he and treasures life above anything else. Strong hearted and strong minded are two of the most important characteristics that Dartanian possesses. It is these that make him who he is now. [B]Bio-[/B] The Lier lineage has been with the Primrose family for ages and they have always served them with nobility and loyalty, never falling and rebelling. Their work is the best known throughout the kingdoms, feared by many and praised by all. Their ways are mysterious and passed down from generation to generation. They are the ones who train those who wish to become a guard, allowing them to spar to their best abilities, teaching them as they progress, helping them up as they fall. Since Dartanian was a young child, he was trained to take over the place of Captain when his father would pass. It was his duty to protect the king and his family, letting no harm come their way. Now it is his job to transport Prince Oran and Princess Poppy to Westwood Kingdom, though he knows not what the roads will bring, he is ready for anything.

Name: Melisande Gabriel

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Long, slightly wavy, golden hair - usually worn under a veil and circulet. She's slightly taller than average and willowy in stature. Deep green eyes with a thick fringe of dark lashes. A slight dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose which she hates. She never seems to have a hair out of place, unless the princess is pulling another vanishing act. She wears greens and blues usually. She seems to prefer long skirts and slipper heels.

Position: Lady-in-Waiting to Princess Poppy

Personality: Although she tries to always give off the aura of calm, the princess always keeps her on her toes. She might come across a bit prim-and-proper to those who don't know her well, but she has an adventuresome streak as well. She loves to ride, astride if she could get away with it, and is a closet accomplished equestrian. She has a spine, but doesn't let Poppy see it often. Melisande knows how to pick her battles. But she is very loyal to the princess. She hates the way the king treats Poppy as a tool rather than a person. If Poppy ended up galivanting off into a caper, after a moment of consideration and preperation, she'd stay by the princess's side and try to see them through to the end -- alive, hopefully.

Bio: Melisande is the daughter of a count who has more land than money, and isn't terribly prominant in the royal court. Her mother died when she was three, and her father wasn't well versed in the needs of little girls. She ran around with her two older brothers, doing all that they did: caught frogs to put in the maids' beds, wandered barefoot in the fields and rode horses till it seemed like they were attached to their mounts permantly. She even began lessons in archery and knife work (the swords were just too heavy) when they began their weapons work. She loved her life.
Then her oldest brother, who was six years her senior, got married. As heir to the estate and title, his bride came to live with him in their home. She was everything Melisande was not. She also resented Melisande's carfree manner as well as the idea of another nearly-eliglble aged maiden living in her family with - currently - no prospects of a future marriage. So the new sister desided to take matters into her own hands so she could someday get the girl out of her hair. For the past six years of her life (except the last, where she's been with Poppy) she was forced to learn ettiquete and manners, sewing and embroidery, courtly conduct and dance. Sometimes she was forced by humiliation, and sometimes with violence, but her sister-in-law never struck Melisande where a mark might show. She hated the younger girl, but no one but Melisande ever knew it.
It was a relief when she was summoned to the royal court to serve as Poppy's lady-in-waiting. The sister was pleased because she got rid of the girl and felt that all 'her' hard work had been worth it. Melisande was happy because, although she received plenty of love and support from her father and brothers, they would never see her side of the story - figuring the eldest must know best. She was just glad to get away from it all. Then she met Poppy. . . and met a girl who didn't fit in her box any more than Melisande fit into her own. Unfortunately, between Poppy's not-listening attitude and the kings superiority-over-all complex, she knew there was nothing she could do to help the princess till circumstances changed. . . and now they're changing. She will do her best to get her charge where she's supposed to be - alive - but she will also do her best to find a happy ending for everyone involved.


OCC: Sorry if I went on and on. . . this story sound like tons of fun, and I got a bit more into my character development than planned. Can't wait for this one to start! Smiles!

[b]Personality:[/b] Poppy is a spoiled brat sort to speak. She is use of having her way and getting what she wants, most of the time. What she really wants is to be free of her father. Her spirit is free and fun loving. Poppy can be bit of a dare devil and give her ladies a scare. During her many failed escapes, what she calls practice escapes, her stunts get more dangerous each time. She doesn?t fear anything very much though except heights.

Poppy can put on two faces, the one she was trained to wear, the mask of patients and elegancy, while the other being her true face, the face of a woman that wants to be free.

At times she can be very sassy and whiney. Though she can be spoiled, she cares deeply for Marigold and Melisande. She loves them like they where her sister, though at time Marigold could get on Poppy?s nerves with all the manners and stuff.
[b]Bio: [/b] Poppy is Princess and the only heir to the Primrose Kingdom. Her Father King Sage Primrose sees his daughter as a political gain with the other kingdom. There are four major Kingdoms, The Primrose, Westwood, Lilac and Ash Kingdom. Most of the times these Kingdoms get along with each other in peace and in exchange marry off their children to each other.

Poppy grew up around being raised to know the innards workings of the political workings of the Kingdoms. With her mothers early death her father basically let her be raised by the maids until she proved to be useful. BY this time though, she knew how to fight better than she knew political workings.

At the age of ten her Father brought scholars to teach her how to read and write. Also hired ladies to teach his daughter how to behave properly in front of his guest. Most times Poppy was able to scare them off. She was always proud of herself, too.

Final with a last attempt to put some manners in his daughter he brought Marigold and Melisande to the castle and placed them to help tame Poppy. Though they helped they never really got her the point where her fathers wants her.

When Poppy heard the news that she is to marry Price Oran she became infuriated. She refused
out right to marry him. She would not be used like that and will not be forced to marry someone she didn?t love.

Poppy knows one way or another that she will not marry him whatever it takes.[/COLOR][/SIZE]
