silpheedpilot
Its long, but hang in there... One stormy night, Transylvania - 1942... "Stop! Don't come any further! Stop, dammit!" a lone Nazi soldier yelled to an advancing amorphous "being", for lack of a better term. The soldier opened fire on the being but to no avail as his bullets tore right through the form and exited its other side. In a flash the being was on top of the soldier and attacking it with great ferocity, tearing at the soldiers flesh with newly grown claws, and gnashing into the soldier's body with formed fangs. A door behind the being exploded in a hail of splinters and shards of wood and a squad of Nazi soldiers poured in and lined the hallway on each side, opening fire on the being with sub-machine guns. The being leapt away from the dead soldier and started advancing on the new squad of soldiers, but was deterred when a soldier stepped into the doorway with a Panzerfaust rocket launcher. The amorphous being couldn't act in time before the soldier fired a rocket into the being and retreated away from the hallway with the rest of his squad, and in an unknown spectacle of gore the amorphous being painted the hallway in blood. The rocket soldier peered into the hallway to gawk at the damage he had done to the being in hopes of eliminating it, he was indeed successful and he and his squad all let out a sigh of relief for a job well done. The next morning... "Sir, follow me this way and I'll show you the "painted area." Its what the 32nd Division calls it.." a Nazi soldier said as he led a finely uniformed Nazi officer down the halls of the rather large castle. "Tell me again what the 32nd encountered last night." the officer asked as he passed wounded soldiers being tended to by medics. "Sir, it seems as though our soldiers had been tipped off to American presence holed up here in this castle but when we entered the castle to eradicate the American dogs we were ambushed by some..."thing!" the Nazi soldier re-canted his statement with anxiety as he rounded another corner with the officer. "I see, and what did this "thing" look like?" the officer asked with a sly smiled upon his lips. "It..well..uh..Its hard to explain, sir..It didn't have any definite shape, and it moved like water. It was a black..mass..It was evil, pure evil!" said the soldier, biting at his lower lip and rubbing his hands together nevously, he stopped at a broken down door and a very bloody hallway. "We're here, sir...Anything else I need to tell you?" "No, that will be all. Dismissed." the officer commanded, turning into the hallway. He could here the soldier vomiting in the other room and laughed under his breath. "So, I've found whats left of you brother...." "Sir?" the rocket soldier asked into the room, taking a step in as he called for the officer. "Ah! You are the brave one who took this demon down, I applaud you!" the officer said as he walked to the rocket soldier. "Well, yes, but demon?" the rocket soldier asked peering around the hallway. "Its really none of your concerns, mortal..." the officer said, his eyes as red as fire, with horns beginning to prod its way from his skull, his skin quickly turning from a pale peach color to a blood-red hue. "Holy Mother Of God!" said the rocket soldier, stepping back and raising his sub-machine gun slowly, but before he could act the officer-now-demon put his fist into the side of the soldiers head, sending him flying through a window to his left, plummeting to his death. Nearby soldiers heard the crash and came to investigate. They didn't live very long. A month after the Translyvania incident, the Nazis put their war against the world on hold and went after the ongoing threat of Demons in Europe, some didn't believe it and the Americans took it as an advantage to strike back at the Nazi regime but quickly came to terms with them as they were often caught in the middle of battles with the Germans, and Demons. It seemed that the world would have to put their differences on hold and defend the world itself from an advancing evil. Many dubbed this WWIII, and WWII wasn't even finished yet... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sign-Up... Remember, this is fantasy so fighting with swords and martial arts or something other than guns like they used back in the WWII era is perfectly okay.
