Cecil Posted November 16, 2001 Share Posted November 16, 2001 You heard of it? Nintendo annouced that they would be handing out free CDs with previews of games and stuff like that near lauch. Well, I just got it and firist thing when I opened it up is that it was a mini-cd! I was shocked at how small they where, I'm pretty sure it was the same size as the real minidvd's but I haven't masured it so I don't know. The content on the cd wasn't really that great and when I put the cd back in it's case and examined it more I was pretty sure it was the actual size of the gamecube! Pave-Low Posted November 18, 2001 Share Posted November 18, 2001 Im not sure if this is the same thing or not. but I purchased a nintendo Power Magazine that came with a Gamecube cardboard thingy and inside was a samll mini disk. If this is what your talking about its not the same thing as the disks that the game cube uses. this is a PC mini disk and the videos on it run on quicktime. YOu dont need any special dvd player because its not a dvd disk. Also the Gamecube cds are a little bit bigger. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you don't have Quicktime installed on your computer, try installing the program, and trying your mini-disk again. I tried the Mini-CD, and was impressed. They have a large section with links to tons of Nintendo related sites. They also have tons of games you can check up on, and I was impressed with many other of the games that I wasn't THAT interested in. I wish they would have had Extreme G3 on release. . but. . :bawl: Will just have to wait then. . And SSB:M . . *drools*. . can't wait. . !!
