The hardest game task you've accomplished

Hey!!! You said, "Oi!" Sweet...

A friend of mine got an Action Replay for the Gamecube, and he's going to input some Super Smash Bros. Melee Codes that allow for us to be Giga Bowser, Master Hand and Crazy Hand, so I'm gonna see if I can beat Master Hand, Crazy Hand & Giga Bowser at the sane time. Sounds like fun, huh?

Anyway, to add more to the list, I beat All-Star, Classic, and Adventure Mode while only using less than ten continues (ok, maybe not for All-Star, because Game & Watch was nearly unbeatable, and I was using Zelda and Sheik!

That's all!! ;)

I would have to say the hardest game task I've completed would have to be beating Secret of Evermore. That game was probably the second RPG I had played at the time so I was still new to the genre. And if that wasn't bad enough even with the strategy guide it was easy to get lost and get stuck
The pyramid level especially as you had to walk through hidden passages through the walls. Did I mention you couldn't see you're character as you passed though those walls?
. Some of the boss battles were pretty sick as well. The bug boss on the cover of the game was sick enough but
once you get to the mid-evil area and you had to fight this giant rat that stood just out of your dogs range so you had to kill him with magic. The whole strategy relied upon his stupid attacks on the dog even though it was already Kayoed. Once you beat him you got some kinda shield spell that helped keep you safe during boss battles.
That was probably the most frustrating RPG I had played at the time.

In the vein of Koshu, take almost any game and add a dance pad to the mix. This probably doesn't affect RPG's much, but fighting games and action games become quite hard.

Also, I've been having a horrible time playing through Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution's Quest mode. I'm just not a good VF player though. I've basically given up on it for now.

I also had trouble in Disgaea at some odd spots, mainly because my Laharl is at an insane level and everyone else... well... isn't. Right now I'm stuck in my second fight with Kurtis, I just have to level up... a lot.

This will have to be a toss-up between Syphon Filter [the original] and Dynasty Warriors 5. Syphon Filter was on the secret Hard difficulty, and using only the Silenced Nine millimeter pistol. I had a royal time during the ruins chasing down those damned scientists. Word to the wise; .45 > Gabe's face.

Dynasty Warriors 5. Great game. Lots of fun. But you have to be careful. On a dare, playing as a near-base Diao Chan with her level 1 weapon [for those of you who don't know, a woman with very crappy stats, movement speed, and moveset.], I fought at Hu Lao Gate on Chaos mode...and attacked Lu Bu head on.

Let me put this in perspective for those of you who have not played a Dynasty Warriors game. Lu Bu is the baddest mofo in the entire game. At Hu Lao Gate he doesn't get a power up. He doesn't get two. He doesn't get three, or four, or five. He gets SIX. The first is the standard "uuber guy" aura. The second is the stage-specific aura, which doubles an enemy's natural abilities right off the bat. This is for when a certain historic event is recreated, such as Zhang Fei's stand at Nanyang or Ma Chao's charge at Tong Pass. The third is an Attack x2 after you start fighting him for about twenty seconds. The fourth is a Defense x2, sometime after the Attack x2. These both restore after they wear off, so he pretty much continually has it. The fifth is that he can use the Kakusei powerup. This is similar to, oh, I don't know, Super Saiya-jin 2. His BASE stats double. Attack, defense, movement speed, attack speed, all of it. They TRIPLE. So this is, so far, tripled stats for being on Chaos difficulty, the badass double, the stage-specific double, the attack times two, the defense times two, and the Kakusei. That's seventy-two times his base starting stats. BUT! Hold on! That's not even the end of it.

Eventually, if you get him down to about 1/4 of his life, he HEALS. THE *********** BASTARD HEALS! He gets back around 2/5 of his life! GODDAMNIT WHY CAN'T HE JUST DIE?!

[Needless to say, I died in .37654 hits. Took me over thirty tries to finally beat him down.

And I got a level 3 Lightweight Evolution Attack-able weapon with very high stats for attack, defense, and Musou from Lu Bu's drop. :D PWN.]

Ohhhhh this is a hard one. It has to be between either The weapons in final fantasy 7 or sephiroth in KH. The weapons were soooooo hard even thought i got to lvl 90 and had knights of the round and mimic on the other 2.... both RUBY and Emerald hurt so much of my time. Lol and Sephiroth on KH, he was just pure evil..... and my slow reaction times to clicking the potion after hes rudeced my hp to 1....then straight after he chases you around the arena.......pure evil i tell you....but it did take me less time than both of the weapons so the weapons win this one.....damn those weapons i hate them with a passion :animesmil
We have all had our tough spots in games that we thought we would never beat, but then the next thing you know, we beat it. So what was yours? For me is complete all 50 Missions in Guilty Gear xx. It was pretty tough. and beating Mike Tyson in Punch-Out!! And lastly finishing Alundra, those puzzles and jumping are frustratingly hair-trigger!
Yeah man, Guilty Gear's tough as ----! I still haven't completed Guilty Gear X2#Reload for XBOX >_< I'm only on about...mission 30-40 but I've completed some rather difficult ones (such as the last mission, the fight with the super rigged Sol).

There's been many difficult accomplishments I've made in games O_O

On Counter-Strike Source I managed to whipe out a really good team as the only terrorist left on my team and as they began to diffuse the bomb, I charged 'em, killed 1-2 guys running up the steps to get me and the guy diffusing the bomb. The bomb went off while there was a few of them left but they were really angry xD

On Halo: Combat Evolved for PC a long time ago (a year or two), I managed to dive off of a bridge (in that one snowy level) in a warthog as I heard my opponents driving by underneath it I listened closely and I launched myself off the side and ontop of them killing all of them instantly. We laughed for a few solid minutes XD

I'd say completing the campaign on WarCraft 3: Reign of Chaos on hard was my most difficult task.

Ok, the Turbo trolley event for tombi!2.

You have to race along a winding track in a mining cart, with a bucket of cement which sets rock hard in about 1 minute 30. If you go around corners too fast, you derail. loosing. if you slow down to go around the corners, the cement sets rock hard beofre you reach the end of the course. on top of that, you have to collect "seeds of stength" from around the track, to give to the strength fountain.

this was damn near impossible. it took me no less than 300 tries over a period of a week to do this mission. grr... and i still can't get the secret ending!!! :cussing:

Glad someone mentioned Disgaea (laughs) That game...geez, when I DO beat it, I'll die happy. Stuck in chapter 12...(sighs)

Actually, I'm not sure why but even if Sly Cooper wasn't really too hard I still felt very proud after beating every mission. I mean this for both Sly Cooper games too. I would sit there and grin after each one heh.

As for a hard challenge...Star Ocean 2, the Cave of Trials. Need I say more?

I'd also say Xenogears disc 2 because of all that stupid reading, it was too hard. I'm only more or less kidding on that too but I know why it was like that at least. Still though...the game itself was hard in some places, especially towards the end, the boss battles between all that reading. Those things killed at times.

Ok this is a silly one but when I was young, I felt really proud to beat Yoshi's Island. That was hard for me back then!
