I read this somewhere so really who knows how true it is. But it certainly seems like it's all coming to a climax ever since he was introduced. Which would indeed be sad, meaning my two favorites, him and Krad, didn't get much airtime. But it is a good thing lol It gave me my favorite character! Rachmaninoff Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Well now that I?m becoming an anime fan, when I was in the bookstore the other day I picked up the first couple of volumes to this series. I had watched the show earlier this year and was curious to see what the difference was. So far I?m glad I saw the anime first, as there are quite a few differences that were not included, but are downright hilarious and fun to read. All the antics with Daisuke [spoiler]turning into Dark were just too fun.[/spoiler] And all the innuendos they?ve been throwing out there between the various characters crack me up. I can see why they made an animation out of this even if they don?t match, it?s a great story and out of all the shows I?ve seen so far, has the best music. They did a wonderful job of catching the moment with the soundtracks and even the person singing in the opening song manages to catch the English words without sounding extremely bizarre. I can see that I?m going to have to get a copy of the music to this show. Another thing that I?ve enjoyed is the artwork; it?s nicely done and even matches fairly well to what was done with the show. An excellent read that makes me wish I had the money to pick up all the volumes instead of having to wait until I can afford to get a couple more. I don?t mind that they didn?t follow the manga?s with the actual show, but there are parts I wish they hadn?t left out. Some of those scenes where Daisuke kept turning into Dark while he was at school were totally hilarious. And they had more of the aspect of Wiz [spoiler]posing as Daisuke as well. [/spoiler] Though I suppose if they had really tried to do it justice it would have required two seasons instead of one to really squeeze everything in there. Not that I would have minded. I finally got Vol. 11 of the DNAngel Manga, and it definitely ended with a cliffhanger, so I am assuming it is going to be continued, however I have not heard anything. So has anyone heard if there is another volume being published? And if so, when? They seemed to suggest that it will continue but other than that no further information has been given.
