[SIZE=1]"Kite! What's wrong!" shouted Alec as he saw Kite staring blankly out of the window, shaking and sweating, pale as a ghost. He turned slowly to look at Alec.

"Enyo and some other people are going into the NASA facility! They're going to get themselves killed!" he said shakily.

"We have to stop them!" said Alec. He ran down the stairs and out of the front door. He ran as fast as he could to try and get to the people before they could get into the facility.

"Stop!" he shouted, "You're going to get yourselves killed!" The three people turned and looked at him, then turned back and continued walking. He recognised one as Enyo, one as the girl who he had fought in the allewyway, but he didn't recognise the guy with them.

"Seriously! The people in that facility are dangerous, you could get yourselves killed or worse!" protested Alec, but to no avail. The three walked into the building, and Alec fell to his knees, knowing that they wouldn't come out of there alive...[/SIZE]

[color=green]Johnny's hands shivered as she became more depressed. He felt so angry at himself...and so guilty. He closed his eyes. He opened them again, looking at her, curled up.

[b]"Cassie...I'm sorry for asking you. I thought, you were so beautiful, that someone would of had feelings for you in the past, like I do now. Feel free to yell and scream at me all you want, I deserve it."[/b] Johnny opened his arms as a gesture of defeat, signifying open blows.

[b][i]"I don't wanna scream...I feel so confused now..."[/b][/i] The voice in his head was softer this time, like a gentle breeze across a cool southern plain.

[b]"Cass, you have to understand. I thought you were with someone else, so I naturally moved off. It was the way you acted, the way you walked, the way you held yourself.

Its like an enternal war for me. Who do I choose? Kefira or you, Cassie? I don't really know, I..."[/b] He trailed off. Johnny asked her to do something.

[b]"Could you change back? I'd...like to try something."[/b][/color]

[Sakura]

[color=Navy]Cassie took her tail from her eyes and looked at him, her golden eyes were sad and her body language showed him that she was depressed. What Johnny was telling her and what her mind told her were contradicting and she was deadly confused, she told this to Ryuai who just gave her a peaceful sense of comfort that she was grateful for. She was surprised that Johnny thought she was with someone, it was the complete opposite. Frankly she was afraid of relationships with males, there were too many stories of men leaving women and she didn't want to experience the heartbreak of it, but she didn't understand why she was feeling this way for Johnny, she just didn't understand...

He asked her to revert to her human state, she whimpered and nodded slightly. She asked Ryu for help since she was in an emotionally weak state. Slowly the two of them worked and she was back to human. Her pointy ears were still drooped, along with her tail. Her cheeks were damp from tears and her eyes were puffy and bloodshot.

Cassie looked up at him and he leaned in to her. Cassie froze and just sat there as he kissed her. Cassie felt heat through her body but then realised the circumstances and pushed him away forcefully. Johnny fell back against the wooden planks and looked up at her. Cassie was now standing and tears were rolling down her cheeks, her eyes were flickering between human brown and wolf gold.

[b]"Cass, what-" [/b]Johnny questioned, standing.

Cassie glared up at him, her eyes weren't flickering, they were solid gold, and there wasn't a trace of warmth in them, they were filled with coldness that made Johnny shiver.

[b]"It isn't right! You're with Kefira, you can't cheat on her, I won't let you. She likes you and she hasn't done anything to deserve it." [/b]Cassie cried.

She let out a sob and turned, running from the pier with heavy but quick footsteps. Johnny watched her as she fled again, he felt more guilty than before and watched as she rapidly changed into her wolf form, it seemed she'd controlled that part of her powers already. Johnny heard a loud howl and knew it was from anguish, coming from Cassie.

Cassie ran again, her lips tingled but it was wrong, she wouldn't accept it, she refused to. Kefira was innocent in all of this and didn't deserve to be cheated on. Cassie ran, she knew where she was going.

She arrived at the large doors of the church, it was an incredibly large building because it included bells. Cassie changed back to her human form, her tail was between her legs and she looked terrible. She entered the building quietly, she was close to the Father of the church and crept her way around, knowing exactly where she wanted to be.

Cassie climbed a few flights of stairs and then up a set of spiral stairs. When she emerged from the stairs there were the bells, hanging from the wooden holds. She climbed the disguised ladders and finally reached the top where there was open air and the most beautiful view of the city. Cassie let the cool breezes wash over her and let out one word. [b]

"Sanctuary." [/b]

Cassie sat on one of the stone parapets and stared out, letting the tears roll down her cheeks as she watched the sun set on the water, it was a beautiful and sad scene to watch for her.

Kite watched as Alec tried to stop them but the kept on going. He knew that there was a good chance that they would be killed but then agina Enyo was with them. "They may make it. For some weird reason I think they will be ok." Se slowly made his way past Kefira and outside as a sad wind passed over his body. He could tell that someone was extreamly sad and confused but he wasnt sure who. He got the presence of something human but not. Partial animal in her."Cassie? This is getting bad. Wheres Johnny?" He looked around and saw Johnny walking back from hte peir, "Hey. What the hell is going on etween you and Cassie? It isnt safe for her to be out alone. Especially when Enyo is right there!" He pointed to the base as Enyo and the people with her walked inside.

johnny just slowly walked passed him without even looking at him. Kite reached out his hand and grabbed Johnny's arm stopping him,"Alright. Spill it. Whjo said what to make her run off? She could be in danger." Johnny just pulled his arm away and walked inside."Dammit Johnny." Kite took off into the air and started flying in thedirection he thought Cassie was."Why the hell am I getting involed? I already know that I'm gonna regret this!"

He made his way over a church and noticed someone in the bell tower."Bingo was her name-o." He slowly made his way twards the tower and stopped a little away from it and just watched her as she cried.

OOC: Only Treana and Enyo are entering the facility, Anarchy. Phelan isn't.

[Take over,] Treana instructed Akansola. [We'll need to use everything we've got to have a chance at this.]

Again, Enyo noticed a change, but didn't know what the change was. Instead, she turned her attention toward the facility. "They are ready for us," she said. "they seem well-positioned. They will try to capture us, not to kill us."

"I can sence them, as well," Akaksola said. "Be careful. Their thoughts show that they've seen the recordings of your escape, and know how you fight. They believe they can handle you."

"Enyo did not know of her powers earlier. They have not seen Enyo's powers."

"Good. In that case, you enter ahead of me. Show no mercy. Kill anyone you see, with the exception of the man you're leading me to. We need him alive. Anyone else we see, we kill, unless it's another expriment. Understood?"

"Enyo understands."

"Good. Here they come."

the main door opened, and three men ran out. Their weapons were very strange-looking, and obviously not normal guns. They would be designed not to kill, but to paralyse the target. The men never had a chance to use them. Enyo telekinetically threw them up in the air, high enough that they would die when they hit the ground, as she and Treana ran inside before the door closed. They just made it in before the entrance slammed shut.

[color=Navy]Cassie stared out into the distance, she hadn't moved since she arrived there. She was still positioned on top of the same stone parapet. A strong wind blew past her which ruffled her hair, she knew it wasn't natural and could sense the presence of someone from the group, she guessed it was Kite since none others she knew could fly.

[i][b]"Leave me alone. This is Sanctuary." [/b][/i]Cassie said to him in his mind.

Cassie turned to where he was suspended in the air.Kite was surprised, not knowing that she knew he was there. Her eyes were the cold golden colour she had shown Johnny earlier.

[b]"I said leave me alone! Sanctuary!" [/b]she roared at him.

Kite looked her in fear, she bared her fangs and snarled.

[b]"Ok, I'm going. Come back soon, Cassie. Be careful." [/b]he whispered the end as he left, but her sensitive ears picked up the words.

Cassie sighed as she saw him floating away, no doubt back to their hideout.

[i][b]"Ryu...What's wrong with me? Why does everything bad happen to me?!" [/b][/i]Cassie cried, holding her head in her hands helplessly.

[i][b]"Shh, pup. You'll be fine." [/b][/i]the wolf comforted softly.

Cassie wept again, she felt so helpless, what was happening to her. She heard a scrapping and turned around quickly. It was the Father of the cathedral.

[b]"Father, good evening." [/b]Cassie greeted, rubbing her eyes and leaping off the parapet.

[b]"Cassie, good evening. I didn't expect to see you." [/b]he said, reaching into the folds of his robes and producing a handkerchief. Cassie accepted it with thanks and wiped away the dampness from her face.

[b]"I...needed...Sanctuary."[/b] Cassie said.

[b]"Ah yes, I heard you. Who were you talking to exactly?" [/b]he questioned, tucking his hands into his sleeves.

[b]"Just...someone."

"You are different since the last time I saw you, which was several months ago." [/b]the Father said, walking closer to her.

Cassie shied back but he kept approaching her until she had no where to go. He saw her new features and gasped. Cassie hung her head in shame and could feel more tears welling up in her eyes.

[b]"What happened to you?" [/b]he breathed.

[b]"I don't know, but I supposedly disappeared, and when I reappeared, I was like this." [/b]she said, holding her arms out and spinning around, showing her tail. [b]"I can change into a wolf and a werewolf." [/b]she confessed.

[b]"Amazing...And are there others like you?"

"Yes, Father. They have different powers, but they've also been mutated somehow."

"Then, who you were talking to, was it one of those people?"

"Yes, Father. Please, don't tell anyone about us." [/b]Cassie pleaded, she wanted to protect the others, she didn't care about herself, they could take her in if they wanted, as long as the others remained safe.

[b]"What? No, no. Of course I won't. Would you like to come inside?"

"No thankyou, Father. I want to stay out here..."

"Of course, this has always been your favourite place. If you want to rest, the bed in the bellfry has been prepared." [/b]he said, walking away.

[b]"Thankyou..." [/b]she murmered.

[b]"Not a problem, if you need anything just ask." [/b]he said, walking back down the spiral stairs.

Cassie climbed back onto her stone parapet and stared up at the darkened sky, she wouldn't return, not until she found out what was wrong with her, what she did to make people play with her emotions cruelly.

[color=green]Johnny couldn't do anything about it. He sighed, half in disgust at himself. He had to find her, before she got shot or something, a farmer thinking she was a coyote or a wolf. But he only had his panda form, which wasn't all that fast.
His eyes stared to the ground, he began to search for her in every nook and cranny.

As he did this, whispers and murmurs rose in his thoughts, about the power of the shamans, over Earth and SKy. It took a while, but Johnny decided to try to exert some control over the clouds. He stared at a group of them, his mind willing them together. They clashed, forming a dark raincloud. Johnny was, at the least, surprised.

Now for the earth-based stuff. He looked at a group of stones, willing them into a manlike figure. They fomred together, shaping into dusty, but straight, bricks. They built a small, stone man about three feet high. He realized he could have sentries in the clouds themselves, and golems on the ground, searching for her.

He built several more golems, animated them, and sent them off in four directions. He willed part of his collective mind into the clouds, creating a bond with them, gaining eyes in the sky. Johnny sent them sailing out in all directions, in search of her. He began to walk more, looking where he hadn't seen the golems and clouds go.

After a while, several golems had came across the church. The now white streaks of sirrius cloud told him that Cassie was up there. Johnny ran as fast as he could, making a storm appear over his head, to cool him down. He ran until he was at the doors, which he flung open. The golems had become two that were his height.

[b]"Father Merrin! Where is Cassie?"[/b] He asked, the golems outside the door. His stride was heavy, like his back was weighed down.

[b]"She is in bellfry. I do not think she wishes to be disturbed."[/b]

[b]"Father, I am one of the group she was talking about. This is [i]urgent[/i]."[/b]

[b]"Alright, but...just be gentle with her. And how did you know about this, John?"[/b]

[b]"My friends in the skies told me."[/b] Johnny thanked the Father, and ran up to the bellfry. He opened the door gently.

[b]"Cass, its me...Johnny."[/b][/color][/size]

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=#C82356]Blood splattered against the walls, glass window broke as bodies were thrown about, and this all happened because one man wanted to experiment on humans and create a being that was not meant for this world or any world at that. Enyo?s powers were rapidly changing, mutating faster than anything seen. She knew nothing about them, though each time she experienced a new power, she learned quickly. Treana, on the other hand, knew nothing of Enyo?s new powers or the ones she held currently. It was a risk that Treana was ready to take for she held a small trust in Enyo.

?THERE SHE IS!? A soldier had found the two and were alerting the others. ?STOP RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!? Enyo did not comply to this order nor did Treana. ?IF YOU DO NOT STOP I WILL BE FORCED TO SHOOT!?

As the two walked closer and closer, the soldiers gained more and more in mass. Enyo stopped and looked deeply into the mind?s of the soldiers. She closed her eyes for just a moment, taking in the emotions that the soldiers held, and when she opened her eyes, the soldiers seemed to look dazed but alert.

?Enyo does not want to fight. Enyo wants to see her creator. Take us to him.?

?YOU THREE GO DOWN THAT HALLWAY, MAKE SURE IT?S SECURE! YOU THREE GO DOWN TO THE INFIRMARY, SEE IF THERE IS ANYONE SLEEPING ON THE JOB! THE REST OF YOU ARE WITH ME! WE?RE TAKING THEM TO SEE MR. MAESTRON.? The soldiers did not do anything to stop the talking soldier from taking Treana and Enyo. ?ALRIGHT THEN, IF THERE ARE NO OBJECTIONS, LET?S MOVE OUT!? The first three quickly rushed down the right, then the next three disappeared to the left, and the remaining four walked to Enyo and Treana, two of them blocking the girls? back and the other two in the front.

Enyo has made them see that fearing Enyo and Treana was wrong. It was best to lead us to Enyo?s creator.[/i]

Still confused, Treana went along. It was better this way, she supposed. There wouldn?t be any complications and if anyone questioned the leading soldier, it was bound to be sure that they would be sent elsewhere.

?We are here, ma?am. If you and the child would like to walk in, I?m sure that Mr. Maestron would not object.?

?Enyo thanks the soldier. Everyone is free to go.?

After entering the room, Enyo could sense that there were at least two others, maybe more, in the room. The one who seemed calm and quite tranquil was Mr. Maestron. He had a sense of authority and strength about him that the others did not carry. This Enyo knew because it was the same sense that was given to her, a ?special? part of her that was taken from her creator.

[color=Navy]Johnny stopped as she saw Cassie. She was still on her stone parapet, but she was curled up tightly into a ball and looked like she was asleep. Johnny approached her carefully and saw that she was asleep. Her cheeks were damp, her ears flat against her head and her tail flicked idley. Johnny looked down at her, she'd had a rough day. He lifted her gently and took her into the bellfry where the bed had been prepared.

Johnny put her down carefully and pulled the blanket over her curled up form and sat beside her. He looked around the place, it was all made of wood besides the roof and the bells. He appreciated the beauty of it and just sat in silence. There was a rustle heard and he turned his head to Cassie. She was awake, she yawned widely, revealing her fangs and rubbed her eyes like a child would. She realised where she was and who was beside her. She scampered along the wooden planks and stood away from him.

[b]"How did you find me?" [/b]she demanded.

[b]"I discovered my new powers." [/b]Johnny answered, standing.

[b]"Leave me alone, I came for Sanctuary."

"I'm not doing anything to you, Cass. What's wrong?"

"That's just it! I don't [i]know [/i]what's wrong with me!" [/b]Cassie growled.

[b]"People play with emotions. I thought my father cared, he doesn't, he loves his work more than me." [/b]Cassie spat. [b]"And Derek, my older brother that left home, I thought he loved me, he doesn't, he cares more about his studies than he does me. Jack, my best friend when I was young, I thought we were as close as siblings, he didn't, he left me in the ditch after he found some other guys to play with after they moved into the neighbourhood." [/b]tears streamed down Cassie's face as she continued the list, there were females in there along with males, but the majority were males, which is why she grew to be afraid of having any relations with males.

[color=green]Johnny listened to her quietly,absorbing what she said.

[b]"Cassie, I'm not trying to mess with your emotions. My own emotions are messed up right now. I have feelings for you. Cass, if I didn't really care for you, I wouldn't of tried to find you."[/b] He told her, eyes glanced down, quietly.

[b]"I don't care! You should be with Kefira, you kissed her first."[/b] She retorted.

[b]"Didn't you hear me before? I said that I was confused. I thought you were with someone by the way you walked, and how calm you seemed with me, without any clothes, on your doorstep."[/b] He spoke again.

[b]"Should I leave you...to think about what I've said?"[/b] Johnny asked. She didn't respond, so he opened the door, and walked out. Johnny leaned against the wall, and slid down it. He began to think of what to do, and why she freaked out on him.

He stayed there for a while, eyes closed. He was, seemingly, drugged into an unwakable stupor. However, that broke when she called him back in.[/color]

[Sakura]

[color=Navy]Cassie thought over herself, she was being so emotional, and she had never been an overly emotional person so it scared her, she guessed that was why she was acting so strangely.

She decided to call Johnny into the room again and he walked in slowly. She explained to him the conclusion she had reached and he nodded, he understood.

[b]"I-I'm sorry...Its just...I never had anyone that really cared about me when I grew up...I guess I never will, it was already hard before, but now I'm like this." [/b]Cassie sighed sadly, gesturing to her new features from the experiment.

Johnny walked over to her and sat down again. Cassie's head dropped, her ears swayed as a breeze came through from the windows, and her three coloured hair moved. Her tail was moving slowly as they sat in silence. Johnny watched her.

[b]"And I was so mean to Kite. I know he just wanted to help..." [/b]

[b]"Cass, I wanted [i]you [/i]from the moment I saw you, when you were asleep after you helped me when I fell on your doorstep. But I thought it was impossible, like I keep saying, just by how you hold yourself, it seemed like you were with someone." [/b]Johnny admitted.

[b]"Its all been a fa[font=Verdana]çade...I'm not strong...I've always had to hold the [/font][/b][/color][color=Navy][b]fa[font=Verdana]çade because I didn't want people to think I'm weak...even though I really am..." [/font][/b][font=Verdana]Cassie whispered.

Johnny smiled sadly and put two fingers under her chin, lifting her head. He leaned in but Cassie stopped him.

[b]"Don't...I told you...You have Kefira..."

"I told you that I want you. I don't think we're right for each other. I'll end it with her for you."

"But..."

[/b]Johnny silenced her with his lips as they met, Cassie's hands fell to her sides, she was still too emotionally weak to fight back, so she accepted it. Maybe she could finally let a male into her barrier for the first time since the pain.

[Zephyr]

Phelan collapsed into the alley as a massive wave of vertigo struck his senses. It was the first time in the last few days that he had actually had to yeild to the force of gravity. His vision blurred and spun around, and as a result his balance had given out. The feeling was so strong that that is not only looked like the world was spinning, but it felt like it had picked up the pace.

Slowly the feeling subsided and Phelan could see that he was on his side just inside of the alley. It took a bit longer for his feet to recover, but he managed to stand with the help of the building he had been leaning against a short time ago. [i]What the hell was that? I've never felt anything that strong, not even after crashing. Could it have been her?[/i] He looked at the retreating forms of Treana and Enyo, who were far away by this point.

Not wanting anything to do with the direct assault on a military protected center, Phelan stayed back. When the two disappeared behind the base's fence, and out of his view, the only choice was to use a burst of inverted gravity to reach the top of the building. He staggered a bit as he landed on the building's roof. Clearly the vertigo had done a number on him. From this new vantage point he could see beyond the fence.

A look through the binoculars in his hand revealed a gruesome sight. Bodies lay scattered around the NASA base's courtyard. The splatter of the blood beneath them was a sign that they had fallen. This confused Phelan for a moment. How could they have fallen in the middle of any area with no tall structures? He didn't bother to ponder this point for long, however, and turned his attention back to the matter at hand. Seeing what had become of Treana and the young girl.

Everything appeared quiet on the outside of the NASA buidlings. It helped that everyone outside seemed to be dead. It was strange that no police sirens could be heard rushing toward the area. Given the situation Phelan expected them to be collecting around the perimeter to hold things down until a SWAT team was ready to deploy. Throughout the compound there was no movement to be seen. Treana must have entered one of the buildings by that time. [i]This is turning into one very messed up week.[/i] Phelan thought as he sat on the edge of the roof. [i]I do hope you survive this one Treana of Koteiro. It would really suck to see you lose a fight after all this time you have spent winning them.[/i] For a reason even he didn't understand, this thought caused him to laugh out loud.

[Redemption]

[COLOR=#FF0066][FONT=Trebuchet MS][b]OOC: Aiya! Kefira is going to be heartbroken![/b]

Kefira happily hummed to herself as she scrubbed the bathroom spotless. She smiled as she thought of Johnny kissing her. She giggled to herself girlishly.

" I can't believe a boy kissed me. I wonder how he and Cassie are going out in the kitchen?"

Kefira stood up, wiping the sweat off her brow. The bathroom was sparkling white. She stood there, proud of her effort. Picking up the bucket, Kefira walked out into the kitchen with a smile on her face.

" Hey Johnny, Cassie, how are..." She stopped mid-sentence. No one was in the kitche/living area. She looked around, confused.

" Where could they have got to?" Kefira looked around all the rooms and even in the basement. She stood in the kitchena area with her arms crossed and an unamused look on her face.

" This isn't funny! Stop playing hide-and-seek on me! The joke's over! Come on out please!"

She looked around the barracks again, wincing as she couldn't find anyone.

" Where's everyone?!"

Walking over to the doorway, Kefira looked out and saw Johnny and Cassie walking back. What she noticed was they were holding hands. She watched them stop for a moment, kiss and kept walking towards her. Kefira was frozen to the spot. It felt like her heart stopped beating. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

[i]So you chose her. That's all right with me..... You could have at least told me before playing with my mind like that...[/i]

Kefira's skin felt like it was on fire. Emotions ran through her veins, through he mind uncontrollably.

[i]I'm transforming....[/i]

Two dark feathered wings spread from her shoulder blades. She screamed as they burst through the skin and unfurled. Rushing into her room, Kefira quickly gathered up her things, including her box of kittens, smashed her window and flew out of it. Taking up in flight, she tried as best she could to get as far away from Johnny and Cassie as possible. She felt like an empty shell.

Collapsing onto the rooftop of the tallest skyscraper of the city nearest to the NASA base, Kefira curled up, her wings shielding her and her kittens from the now pounding rain. However, the rain was nothing compared to the tears rolling down Kefira's cheeks.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Treana retook control of the body and approached Mr. Maestron. "Remember me?"

"Yes," Mr. Maestron said. "Yes, I do. You are Treana Alkalero. I am Robert Maestron. To be honest, I expected you to return at some point, and I believe we could have handled you, despite the fact that nobod here quite understands what happened to you. Hoever, we didn't anticipate you joining forces with Enyo. Still, you did well to make it this far."

"Whatever. I'm not here to listen to you go on about your security. I want to know what the fuck you did to me."

"We've been experimenting," Mr. Maestron explained, "attempting to create more advanced forms of humanity. I don't expect you to see it that way, and I can understand that. All we've done so far is create freaks. Well, that's almost all we've done. We began taking the next step with yourself and a few others."

"And what was this 'next step'?"

"For a while, we only had one alteration per subject. We made more complicated abilities with multiple uses as we proceeded, but it was still one per person. You were one of out attempts to add two abilities to a single person. In fact, you were the first. In you, we attempted to combine the full range of psychic powers with the ability to shapeshift. It didn't work, and neither did any of the combinations we tried on others. Unlike those others, however, you survived. You, Treana, are the only survivor of the dual-ability experiments. However, despite your survival, the combination was not a success, and we cannot understand how the resulting abnormality you have, the other mind that shares your body, is possible."

"Your multiple-powers thing seems to have worked with Enyo," Treana said.

"True, but Enyo is not like you. We found you, took you off the strets and bought you here. Enyo is our creation. We made her, and added her powers at her time of creation. Because she was made with them, she survived and, theoretically, has full use of them, although there are some of us, myself included, who anticipate that she will discover her powers gradually."

Treana had more questions she wanted to ask, but she and enyo couldn't stay in the facility for long. "Enyo, we need to leave," Treana said. "We're taking Mr. Maestron with us. I'll handle him, you make sure nobody shoots us." With that, Treana let Akansola take control, and they made for the exit.

[SIZE=1]Alec saw Kefira fly away. He was filled with sadness as he saw how upset she was. A single tear rolled down his cheek for her. He saw her land on top of a skyscraper, close to the NASA base, and set down, covering her beloved kittens with her huge wings. Rain pounded against the windows of the building they were in, and he saw that they could get wet and cold.

He focused all his power, and felt his body become wreathed in flame once more, and his feet lifted off the ground. He willed himself further into the air, higher and higher and closer and closer to Kefira. The rain tried to extinguish his flame, but it simply evaporated before it could.

Soon, he landed on the roof, next to Kefira.

"Are you alright?" he asked her. He could tell that she wasn't, but it was the only thing he could think of to say. She looked up at him with tear-stained eyes.

"He's gone off with that...that...that slut Cassie!" she shouted, startling him slightly. She quivered, then went back to her kittens.

"They look cold," he said. He cupped one of his hands, and a ball of flame appeared in it. He held it near to the kittens in Kefira's lap. They moved towards the heat, but not too close.

"Alec, you're getting soaked," she said softly. She spread her wings slightly wider to cover Alec's form.

"That's a pretty impressive wingspan you have there, Kefira," he said, stroking the wing which covered him.

"I don't know what happened," she said, retracting her wing slightly from his grasp.

He put his arm around her, and they sat in the rain, sheltered from the wet by the wings, and kept warm by the fire...[/SIZE]

Kite landed at the building before Johnny and Cassie could make it back. while landing he saw Alec fly up to Kefira, who had become a bird."This is getting to become too much of a mid-morning drama show." He looked back at the blood stained NASA facility and decided to see if his aunt was still alive."If she is still in there then I think that we shood have a little talk about everything." He turned and started walking twards the Nasa base.

When he reached the front gates, he saw that there were soldiers waiting for Enyo and the other person to come out."Hey! Idiots! I think right now that you should be more worried about me than Enyo!"All of the soldires turned around as a small vortex started to surround Kite. One of the soldires got scared and started to fire his M-16 at Kite who raised his hand and started to stop the bullets with wind,"C'mon now. You'll have to do better than that." He brought his hand to his side then threw is forward, sending all of the bullets into the soldier. The soldire fell to the ghround with about thirty bullets in him,"anyone else?" Another one of the soldires decided to start fireing. Kite agian raised his hand and stopped the bullets as he started to walk forward. When he got next to the soldiers, he began to pick them up with his wind. He then sucked out all of the oxygen from around the soldiers and watched them suffocate."I told you to worry more about me." A minute later he let the lifeless bodies fall to the ground in a heap. He kept walking as the bullets started to form a spinning sheeild of lead arouind him.

Kite turned another corner and stopped as he saw Enyo and the other person. The new person was holding Mr. Maestron in her grip."Mr. Maestron. its been a while. I know that they didnt walk in here with you, so why are they taking you out?"
"Kite. It is soo good to see you agian. Your aunt hasnt quite talking about you. What do you say about helping me out of this little mess?" He put his hands together like he was about to pray. Kite looked at Enyo who still had a blank look on her face. Then he looked at the girl with her,"Who are you? Any why are you with Enyo?" Kiter could tell that she seemed to be talking about something then he felt another presence about her that was trying to break into his mind,"Stop it. It isnt gonna work."He let loose a bullet from his spinning vortex that flew right past her and Enyo into a soldires forehead. He looked back at Enyo who still hadnt said or done anything,"You remember Enyo? Why do you hate Enyo so?" Kite just looked at her as she turned her head and threw another soldire into a wall crushing his skull,"Enyo, we must leave now of it will only get harder," Kite watched as the two tried to get past carrying Mr. Maestron, but kite stopped them with a gust of wind as he turned to them,"I'm comming with you. I dont really fell like going back where I came. Mo to menchion, i already know Mr. Maestron." He let the gust fade as he watched their faces.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=#C82356]The boy named Kite had stopped the three from getting anywhere. Treana and the being that took host of her body knew that Enyo could easily blast the boy aside and allow them to walk away but knew that if that had happened, many consequences would come of it. Enyo knew it as well for her slight precognitive nature perked as she viewed the boy who controlled the winds.

?I?m coming with you. I don?t really feel like going back where I came. More to mention, I already know Mr. Maestron.?

The gust had faded and before Enyo and the others left, she turned around to Mr. Maestron and slightly touched the side of his neck. Something had disrupted the nerve around his neck and it caused him brain to be momentarily confused; allowing Enyo to take control of him, rendering him powerless and weak. She proceeded to put telepathic restraints on him, making sure that he would not escape.

?Enyo senses there are others who come after us. Leaving this place quickly is good.?

As the four walked escaped from the facility, Enyo sensed that someone was following them, as did Treana. She did not mind for the person who followed them could either be a worthy adversary, a foolish enemy, or a trusting ally.

The group soon came to a heavily forested area in which Treana stopped the group and looked to Kite and Enyo. She did not seem to like the idea of people placing themselves with her group though she knew that they needed all the help that they could get, even if it meant letting a kid help them. She was alert and cautious, knowing that Phelan was out there, following them, wondering their every move. Enyo, on the other hand, was nonchalant and childlike but still calm and wary of her surroundings.

?We should get a move on, guys. It?s not safe just yet.? Treana began to move but Enyo had stopped her. She turned and looked to the young girl. ?What is it??

?Enyo probed her creator?s mind and found that this forest is filled with explosives.? She looked to Mr. Maestron and looked further into his mind. ?Enyo sees where they are. She can lead us to safety.?

Nodding, Treana allowed Enyo to lead the group, except Kite stood where he was and looked to them confused and surprised. He did not know why Treana was letting Enyo lead when clearly she was only a young girl and did not know much, at least that was what he saw in his eyes.

?Wait! You?re going to let a little girl like Enyo lead us to wherever it is? Are you nuts?!?
?First of all, Kite, Enyo?s not exactly human. She was created in the NASA facility under Maestron?s orders. Second of all, if Enyo says she knows where it?s safe to step, then we follow her. And lastly, if you want to stick with us and live, then I suggest you stop talking back, understood??

Kite gave up and allowed Enyo to lead the group. Treana was right for the four exited the explosives safely and quickly. She also anticipated the soldiers that were rounding them, circling them and searching for an opening or a slight movement that would seem to give off.[/size][/color]

[Redemption]

The rain poured down. Kefira shivered, cold, in the rain, even though she was covered by her massive dark angelic wings. Alec moved closer to her, the ball of flame in his hands. Silent tears rolled down Kefira's cheeks.

" Hurting?" Alec asked softly.
Kefira nodded. " He.... he could have at least told me.... I would have been fine with it, if he told me..."
Alec didn't know what to do. He tentatively put a comforting hand on her arm as Kefira hugged the box of kittens. They all miaowed at her, sensing how sad she was. She patted them, stroking each of their heads lovingly.

" Seems like they know when you're sad," Alec observed.
Kefira nodded. " They think I'm their mother because I became a lioness to save them. Plus, I smell like their mother. And feed them and take care of them. I guess I know how and what animals think, now I've become like this."

Her tears had stopped, instead she just stared at her kittens. She nuzzled them very motherly-like. Alec watched her and smiled. Kefira looked up at him and laid her head on his shoulder. He was shocked by this but he let it slide. At least he was doing something to help her.

The rain started to ease off. Soon the sun came out. Alec let the flame extinguish.

" We should go back now."
Kefira nodded and stood, letting the sun warm her.[/COLOR][/FONT]

[Zephyr]

The city seemed almost dead silent from Phelan's perch on the tall building. It had been nearly half an hour since he took up the vantage point, and still there was no sign of Treana or her companion. Had it been anyone else Phelan would have left a long time ago, but the thought had never crossed his mind since the begining. [i]What is it about you that vexes me, Treana of Koteiro? I should have no interest in what you do, yet something is stopping me from leaving. But what is it?[/i]

A stirring shadow in the base's courtyard forced the line of thought out of Phelan's mind. From the largest building three figures appeared. Two were obviously Treana and the young girl, but the third looked to be a scientist. The look of the scientist's face stirred up a few fantoms from the past, which Phelan pushed aside. As the three of them headed away from the facility they halted in their track when confronted by a young boy.

Treana seemed irritated by this new arrival that stood in their way, but soon al four were headed away in a hurry. Not wanted to be left behind after so long of a wait Phelan started gravity-hopping across roofs, chasing after them. In short order the buildings disappeared, and he found himself jumping between trees. Thr sound of boots moving fast through the underbrush caused him to stop. Below a soldier was heading after Treana's group. Phelan dropped down beside him and spoke quietly, but harshly enough to be noticed. "Going somewhere, buddy?"

Startled, the soldier spun around, but didn't get to complete the turn. By concentrating, Phelan forced the man's heart to literlly crush itself by intensifying the gravity in his chest. A light thud was the only sound made when the man died. Moving quickly, Phelan took the soldier's gun, holster, and combat knife. "Thanks," he spoke to the corpse, "these will be handy if any of your friends get too close. Affecting gravity can be a burden sometimes." With a quick burst of power he reached a high enough altitude to spot Treana and her group. Falling to the treetops again he started chasing after them again with the same boost-assisted jumps.

[Phelan is approaching,] Treana sent to Enyo.

[Enyo knows. Enyo can sense Phelan's approach.]

[Keep an eye on him.] "We've got company," Treana said aloud. "Soldiers are in the area, of course, but there's another approaching. He's been following us. He's an experiment like we are."

Treana turned to Kite. "You can't stay with us for much longer, Kite," she said. "You can stay with us until the current danger has passed, but not after that. I realize that you probably want to hear what Mr. Maestron has to say, but you can't come with me and Enyo. If you do, you'll probably be shot. There's also the fact that there would be concequences if you weren't, and you'd be forced to fight people off, maybe even kill them. You would die if that happened, trust me."

"I can't accept that," Kite replied. "Like you said, I have every right to hear what Mr. Maestron has to say."

"And you will. There's something I have to take care of, then Enyo and I will come to you. gather up any others like us you know and wait for us. Don't worry about where you are. We'll be able to find you. I'm afraid I can't give you a choice on this one, Kite. If you try to follow me, I'll have to stop you. But for now, let's deal with those soldiers after us."

"And you will. There's something I have to take care of, then Enyo and I will come to you. gather up any others like us you know and wait for us. Don't worry about where you are. We'll be able to find you. I'm afraid I can't give you a choice on this one, Kite. If you try to follow me, I'll have to stop you. But for now, let's deal with those soldiers after us." Treana said as she and Enyo stopped. "Fine, if thats how it hast to be than so be it"Kite said as he created a sawblade of wind in his right hand, but I get time alone with him." He let the blade fly as it hit two soldiers in the waist, cutting them in two."Deal. But now we kill all of them."Treana said as she pointyed at the remaining seven soldiers. "Enyo does not like them,"Enyo said as she raised four up into the air and let them free fall at about a hundred feet."Damn, I'm glad I can fly."Kite said as he stopped the bullets from the remaining soldiers from hitting anybody.Kite stood up straight,"Alright who wants the remaining three?"

[Engel]

[color=green]Johnny had brought her back to the army base, leaving the church behind. He talked about his life, and what the group as a whole should do next, from the NASA facility to beyond. He was glad that she had agreed to come back with him, and that she had agreed to try being with him.

Johnny heard of a crash, and saw a massive angel like thing fly away, so quick he thought it was a bird. When he got inside, Cassie had found a brick, with a little rope.

[b]"Someone must of tied a bird onto this, and threw it through the window. Damn hoolagans."[/b] Johnny smiled the last part. He cleaned up the debris, putting the glass into the trash can, which he then emptied. His stomach rumbled.

[b]"Ugh, I'm hungry....what should we do, eat and go to the base, with everyone else?"[/b] Johnny asked, walking over to the refridgerator, swinging open the door, putting his head inside, browsing around. He didn't really find anything, so he grabbed some stuff from the cabnets. Most of the stuff in the fridge was old, standard army rations.

[b]"I guess so. What did you find in the fridge?"[/b] Cassie asked, sitting down on a chair.

[b]"Just some spoiled army rations. Rations are never good, nontheless spoiled. Don't ask how I know."[/b] Johnny laughed. He pulled out some stuff he had brought from Cassie's house, and soon started preparing the food. About twenty minutes later, he had made angel hair pasta with parmsan cheese, and several roast beef sandwiches.

When they finished eating, he got up, and asked,

[b]"Ready to go?"[/b] Cassie nodded softly. Johnny started out the door first, holding it open for her. He started to exercise his control over the skies, making the air hard, and together underneath his feet, leaving the breathing air alone that was above. He began to run up the air stairs, Cassie following hesitantly. He smiled.

[b]"Its alright. Just trust me."[/b] She nodded. He took her hand, right above the NASA base. Soon, he was falling through the air, with Cassie's hand in his. Their fall began to slow, as the settled down on the ground. Immediately, signs of carnage was appearant. What they would find inside would be...intimidating...[/color]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=#FF0066][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Kefira and Alec made their way from the skyscraper back to their new home. They landed inside Kefira's room. Kefira noticed something immediately.

" Someone's cleaned up all the glass..."
" Huh?" Alec asked as he helped her off the bed.
" When I broke my window to get out of here, there was glass all over the floor and bed. Someone's cleaned it up," Kefira said as she sniffed the air. " It was Johnny."

Tears started to well in her eyes, but she forced them back. Alec watched her anxiously. She straightened up, putting her box of kittens down on the bed.

[i]I can't be weak and emotional. Papa never let me be like that. He said be like a rock in a storm - sturdy and unmoved. But that was how Papa was. Nothing could make him do something irrational. Mama was so soft and gentle. She always said let your emotions out. I miss home... everything about it I miss.... the wilderness.... that's where I belong now, these gifts making even more home-sick.[/i]

" Kefira?" Alec asked.
" Oh... sorry... just remembering things from home."
" Where is home for you? You're not American. I can tell by your accent."
" I'm from Kenya in Africa. I have white parents. They're field scientists. I was just thinking how much I miss home, and how much I would fit in there now with these gifts."
Alec laughed. " You would, wouldn't you?"
Kefira smiled. " Yeah. It would be wonderful to actually be with the animals... sorry... I sound weird don't I?"
" No, not at all."
Kefira smiled again.

" So what now?" Alec asked.
" I don't know."

The two walked around the small quarters, looking for everyone. They'd all seemed to have disappeared.
" Where is everyone?" Kefira asked.
" I dunno," Alec replied. He looked out a window. " I think I found them. I see Cassie and Johnny, would you believe it, flying towards the NASA base."
" What?! But we were supposed to go as a group! They could get in trouble!"
" Agreed. But how are we going to get there? It's heavily guarded on the ground."
Kefira smiled slyly. " Easily."

She took Alec's hands and ran outside.
" We can fly there. Hang on a second."

Kefira took off her clothes, concentrated and turned into that gigantic bird, except this time she had golden plummage.
" Wow!" Alec gasped.
[i][b]Get on![/b][/i] Kefira said to him through his mind. Alec climbed onto her back. With a giant sweep of her wings, they soared into the sky. The wind buffered them slightly but soon Kefira got the hang of it. Banking to the side, she turned towards the Nasa and hovered.

" Sure!" Alec said. Kefira swooped after Johnny and Cassie, the wind flying through Alec's hair and Kefira's golden feathers.[/color][/font]

[Zephyr]

From a short distance away Phelan watched as blood splattered across the ground. The two soldiers that were cut down by the young boy that had joined Treana, lay in large, rapidly expanding pools of their own blood. At the same time four more soldiers smashed into the ground at terminal velocity, spreading more blood, and placing shallow dents into the soft ground. All that remained of the unit was three soldiers, who leveled their guns at the group of three experiments. [i]Guns against unarmed civilians? Now that just not fair.[/i] Phelan thought with a quiet laugh. By now it was obvious that the soldiers were the only ones in trouble.

Deciding that his sideline viewpoint was no longer interesting, Phelan leveled the 9mm handgun he took at the soldier farthest to the right. Two shots rang out, stiking the soldier in the back, around the left shoulder blade. The soldier staggered for a second, and his partners turned around to see where the shot came from. This was all the opportunity the three experiments needed. Treana crushed the skull of one man with her pipes, while the young boy took down the one in the middle. At the same time, Phelan launched himself upwards, and down behind the same soldier he had shot earlier.

A look of relief had passed over the man's face when he realized that he was not dead. He turned around to find who had shot him, only to come face-to-face with his assailant. A grunt came from the soldier as Phelan's clenched fist slammed into his chest. A stream of blood trickled from the soldier's mouth, and the scent of copper filled the space between them. Phelan leaned in close and spoke into the soldier's ear. "Too bad kevlar is useless against knives, huh?" With a thud the soldier fell over, a gaping wound in his lung from the combat knife in Phelan's hand. Phelan calmly cleaned the blade on the man's uniform, and sheathed it.

Off to his left Treana's group stood and stared at Phelan. Treana looked indifferent, but still ready for anything. Enyo's face remained the same emotionless mask it had been the first time they met, and the boy with them seemed ready to attack Phelan on the spot. Phelan merely looked back at them, and raised an eyebrow. "You're not going to introduce me, Treana of Koteiro?"

Kite let a thin vortex cover his right arm as he looked at Phelan."Who tha hell are you? Cuz I really dont like to be snuck up on." Phelan didnt pay any attention to him he just watched Treana,"He is a member of another gang in this area." Kite sighed as he let the vortex fade then the turned to Mr. Maestron and walked up to him,"Now me an the nice angry lady have made an agreement. So that means that you cant die." Kite put his hand on Mr.Maestron's shoulder as wind started to form around it, tearing into his shoulder like a knife,"I'm leaving now. You can take him where the hell ever you are going to but do remember that you said that I could have my time with him." Treana nodded as Kite turned around and started to walk off then he stopped,out of nowhere wind started to pick up and it lifted him off the ground back twards the NASA base, leaving Treana, Phelan, Enyo, and a wounded Mr. Maestron to stare and feel the breeze.

A few minutes later Kite landed outside the Nasa base and looked at the dead boddies that were scattered all over the ground,"Kite, where have you been, dude?" He turned to see Alec walking up to him,"What? Does it matter? I was trying to get a few answers done." Kite kept walking past Alec and Kefira twards where his aunts office was."Where the hell was it? This is getting on my fucking nerves!" Kite stopped at a door that said "Dr. Laoson". He tried to open the door but it was locked so the closed his fist as a tornado surrounded it then he punched the door with a full force of wind behind it that blew the door off of its hinges,"About friggin time." Out of nowhere he felt a sharp pain in his side as he heard a large bang. When he was able to see from the flash of light, he saw his aunt holding her pistal sraight at him with ascared look on her face,"Kite? Oh God!" Kite just stared at her then everything went white as he fell on the floor.
