OOC: alchemist2120, I'm going to have to ask you to edit Treana's remark in your post. Her line was very boastful, and I established pretty clearly early on in the RPG that she doesn't boast in any way. She would not dismiss Phelan's gang as insignificant like that.

Treana watched Kite leave, then turned to face Phelan. "Now," she said, "I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Kite."

"And what's that?"

"You cannot come with us," Treana told him. "We're going to return briefly to Koteiro HQ, and you can't come with us. You know what will happen if you try. If you came, they would kill you."

"And they won't kill the girl, there?"

"Enyo is with me, and I've actually already taken her there once. She is not affiliated with any other gang, so that is not a problem, and Mr. Maestron here is currently not concious, and remain so until Enyo brings him around. But you are with another gang, and you know how it works. You get too close, and you will die. However, I realize that you have every right to hear what Mr. Maestron has to say. For that reason, Enyo and I will locate you when we've concluded our business. Don't worry about finding us; we will find you. At that time, we'll hear what Mr. Maestron has to say."

Knowing that he wasn't being given a choice, Phelan nodded his agreement and headed in his own direction. When he had left, Treana led the way back towards Koteiro HQ.

"Desire!!Desire!!!Where are you going?"Mark ran after her as she entered the church.
"I saw a girl run in here.I think she's one of us."Desire ran inside (she changed into her new elfit) and saw teenage boy talking to a priest then walk into a room.
"What do you mean one of us?"
"I'll explain later..."Mark grabbed her arm and pulled her into a dark corner.
"No..you'll tell me now."Desire shifted and patted Midnight on the head.
"Ok...me and a..well i'm not sure how many kids have gotten amnesia and I saw a few people running in the woods and they looked angry. What i'm trying to say is I think you have powers to."
"No...way. How..I mean my dad promised...HE PROMISED!!!!!!!!!"Mark slammed his fist against the wall and Desire's heart jumped but not out of fear it was like it was made to jump, Mark's eye's turned red and so did some strips of hair. Her heart jumped again but this time her heart started to spead up at an alarming rate..at a fatal rate, then all of her air left her body.

Desire held her throat and tried to breath but nothing came in. Her heart skipped a few beats then a huge thump hit her chset and blood spat out of her mouth and she fell to the ground[FONT=Courier New]."Mar...k...ar..k.."[/FONT]Desire fell over as her heart stopped. Mark turned towards as she hit the floor.
"Desire.....oh my god."Mark fell to the ground and grabbed Desire.He looked at a piece of hair that was red, and looked back down at Desire.
His hand glowed blood red as as a strange aura surrounded it.*What is this?What happened?*Mark slowly put his hand on her chest where her heart would be. He closed his eye's and his hand sank into her chest and he gently grabbed her heart and the aura shot into her heart and it started to beat again, the beat was very loud in his ears, but something was wrong he didn't hear her heart but anyone's heart within a 10 mile radious. but every heart was had it's own unique quality to it like a song or rythem. Desire's heart beat was back to normal but in his ear's it was it's own melody.

The priest starred at them from afar and was stunned.He wnted to go get Johnny and Cassie but he was to scarred at the sight he just saw.

Desire opened her eye's and coughed."Mark.." Desire looked down and saw Marks hand still on her chest. She raised her hand and slapped him as hard as she could. Mark's face flew into the floor and blood trickled from his mouth and he looked at Desire with a surprised look on his face.
"Pervert!!!"Desire was covering her chest.
"Hey it's not what you think!!I'm not a pervert I swear.!!!Plus I just saved your life.!!Why can't you just be grateful or happy.
"I'm sorry Mark I..."She touched his arm and she felt a worm sensation pass through her blood and she smiled."Mark I'm so sorry!!Oh...my...god your bleeding how gross." Mark just looked at her.
"Are you ..ok."Mark grabbed her arm and turned her around.
"Just act normal you don't have to lie." Right then Desire went back to normal and she scooted away.
"What happened it's like I wanted to act normal something was controling my emotions." Mark looked her and smirked. *Wow she looks really hot in that skirt.* Mark thought and at the same time Desire felt that same warmth go throuigh her body and she smirked. She wiped the hair from her eye's and and put her hands through Marks hair and her other hand slowly went up his leg.
"Mark...do think i'm sexy?I know you do..don't worry I want you to!!" She pulled his hair back and his head hit the wall. She moved in closer and slowly put her lips close to his but Mark pushed her away.
"Look as much as I want this to be real..I know it's not." *Man it's like her body's reacting to my feelings or something...thats it. She is reacting to my feelings. I thought she looked hot and she was still touching me so her body reacted..thats why she died...I wanted to kill him......man I wish I knew how to control this, that b**terd*
"Lets see if this works," Mark grabbed her arm"be normal er like you normal." The same feeling passed through her body and she held her head.
"I'm soooo sorry...I don't know what came over me..it's like I wanted to but I didn't...what did you do to me?" She scowled and slapped him in the face .... again.

They both got up and walked over to Johnny and Cassie.
"Oh..hey Mark whos your dad any way.?" She said laying her hand on his shoulder"You seemed really mad at him." Mark looked at her and rubbed his neck.
"He's...a..a scientist at NASA..and I went to go see like I do every month..and I walked in on him and the other scientist..and they were doing wierd exsperiments on some teenagers .....and I saw my little sister..BUT SHE DIDN'T MAKE IT..I SAW HER DIE WHEN I WALKED IN SHE WAS ONLY 6 SHE DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE!!!!!!!!!! My dad said if I didn't tell he wouldn't do anything...I found my older brother in the other room lying on a bed with blood all over him... and wires...but he was still alive and they were still doing stuff to him..and I couldn't take it.! I hated NASA so much..thay already used my mom and dad in an exsperiment when they were 20 to see if they could make them stop aging, it worked but there was no cure and it was a very costly exsperiment..you know it's wierd, my dad only looks a year older than me and the same as my brother so does my mother.My brother is very strong so he could survive any treatment evan torture and that did happen when he got captured by the russain mafia, when he was 16 but he survived..personaly I think he is a massacist since he always kinda enjoyed it when the guard dogs always attacked him,or he got electricuted,or have to fight the body guards, but he would always win since he's an awsome fighter, he learned every fighting style ever, I mean he started karate when he was three. He knows stuff like karate, ti kwon do, ninjitsu, boxing, and lots of other stuff.I only know karate and ti kwon do for the best punching technique's. Jake's cool though evan though he has a very very very short temper, so if you ever meet him don't get in a fight, argue, mouth off, or try to boss him around cause if your a girl and you do that he'll think your really...well that turns him on I guess."

Desire looked at him with a surprised look and walked over Johnny.

[SIZE=1]Alec and Kefira followed Jonny and Cassie to the base, Kefira's wings flapping gracefully through the air. Alec had never felt like this before. He felt free now that he was in the air, he felt liberated, like none of the problems he had on the ground mattered any more.

They flew swiftly, catching up with Jonny and Cassie quickly, but simply flying overhead. Jonny and Cassie did not seem to notice, but Kefira's head, even though it was the head of a bird, seemed to turn and glare at them as they flew past.

"Don't worry about him, Kefira," said Alec, stroking her plumage gently, "I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt you."

[I][B]Well, he still did[/B][/I], she replied, [I]But I guess there's not a lot I can do about that now, is there?[/I]

"I guess not. Better not to think back on it too much, though."

[B][I]I suppose you're right, Alec. Thank you, you've been so supportive to me[/I], [/B] she said.

"That's alright, it comes easily to me, really."

They both laughed, and then they landed on top of the NASA base. Kefira turned back into a human, and, before realising that she was naked, Alec turned away and threw her some clothes he had picked up before leaving. She thanked him and got dressed. Alec turned back to her and they looked down to the skylight.

"I guess there's only one way in from here," he said, looking down through the glass roof. His left hand wreathed itself in flame, and he threw a fireball down into the glass, smashing it, sending shards of glass flying down onto the ground. He jumped through the hole, and landed with his knees bent, lessening the impact. He looked around, and, seeing no-one watching, signalled that it was safe for Kefira to come in. She jumped through the hole, and Alec caught her, placing her safely on the ground.

They began to move through the facility, towards where they thought everyone else would be.[/SIZE]

Kite stood up and felt the blood going down his side,"What tha hell?" He tried to look through his blury eyes at his aunt kneeling over him, tears coming down her cheeks,"Kite, I am soo sorry. I didnt think it was you. I though it was that creature and the person with it." "Kite tried to stand up but couldnt because of the pain,"Why is she a creature? Because she wasnt human to begin with? Did you know she has a name?" His aunt wiped her eyes and looked into Kite's," No Kite, you are wrong. That name is one she created for herself, just like how we created her. There is nothing human about her." Kite felt the wind inder his body start to blow,"Is she a creation, just like me? Just like every other person that has a power? We arent human anymore, are we? We arent human anymore. There is nothing about us except for our apperance that says we are human." Slowly the wind started to lift him to his feet. When he was up, the wind fadded, them came back around his arm,"Now tell my why? What the hell was it for? Why did you create us?" His aunt couldnt explain and Kite knew it. He turned around and started walking back thwe way he came, leaving a trail of blood behind him." I know that I'm not gonna last long like this. I need to rest." When he got near the entrance, he sat down as he slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep.

[Redemption]

[COLOR=#FF0066][FONT=Trebuchet MS]Kefira and Alec walked down the stainless white corridors. All were lit by brilliant fluros. Both of them shivered, scattered memories returning to them.

" Everything feels so familar, and yet, so strange..." Kefira trailed off.
" I agree. These white corridors... I remember them..."
They both shivered again.
" We should keep moving," Alec said.
" Mm."

They kept walking, trying to keep to what shadows there were. But the halls were too brightly lit to let them walk around easily.

" There's so many questions I want to ask these people," Kefira said quietly.
" Me too," Alec agreed.
" But I want to know 'why' the most."
" Yeah. Why us."
Kefira nodded. They turned a corner and found themselves face-to-face with a troop of soldiers. The two teenagers froze.

" Intruders! There the experiments. Get them!" the leader shouted from behind the group. The soldiers leapt at Alec and Kefira. One grabbed Kefira, who yelped at the force the soldier gripped her with.
" KEFIRA!" Alec shouted. A large jet of flame spewed forth from his hand and burned the solider who held her. With the grip released, Kefira ran and hid behind Alec. She rubbed her wrist where the soldier had grabbed her.

" Are you ok?" Alec asked, concerned.
" Yes. Thank you."
" Anytime." He turned back to the advancing group of soldiers.

" They are the experiments! Take care men! Watch for their abilities! The boy's is pyrokinesis. Watch the girl! We don't know what hers is yet!" the leader shouted again.

The front line quickly jumped at Alec and Kefira. Alec jumped back slightly, knocking Kefira to the ground. The soldiers grabbed Alec and restrained him. He flailed around, trying to get free.

" Kefira! Run!"

Kefira scrambled backwards as the second line of soldiers advanced on her. She suddenly felt her back against a wall. Panicking, Kefira looked around to the soldiers who looked down at her.

" Are you sure she's an experiment? She hasn't used her powers."
" Yes. Just get her god dammit before she's uses them."

Kefira could hear Alec shouting at her from behind the soliders. She could feel the heat of the room rise as Alec used his powers. She could hear him struggling to get free. Standing up, Kefira looked the soldiers in the eyes.

" Nobody hurts me or Alec!"

Feeling her skin catch on fire, she quickly undressed and transformed. The horror in the soldier's eyes excited her as she transformed. Moving around them with ease, she took each of their lives with a single bite to their necks. Screams could be heard all throughout the facility. The bodies of the soldiers looked mummified as Kefira drained the last of them of their life force.

Blood all around her mouth, she advanced towards the ones that held Alec. All of them, even Alec, had looks of horror on their faces, after seeing what she had done to the others. They quickly let Alec go as Kefira advanced towards them.

" K...K... Kefira.... you're... a... a.. vampire..." Alec stuttered as she looked at him with blood red eyes.
[i][b]Don't worry. I can control this form enough that it won't kill you.[/b][/i]

Looking at the others soldiers, Kefira passed Alec as a breath of darkness and consumed the rest. Alec didn't want to look back. It was sickening enough, just hearing the screams and the sounds of the bodies being dumped on the floor.

After hearing silence for a few moments, Alec dared turn around. He saw Kefira still in vampire form.
" Can't you change back yet?" he said, almost gagging from the sight of the blood splatters over her face. Kefira saw this and wiped them away.
" I don't think so. Maybe when a bit of time passes."
" So you're going to walk around like that?"
" I don't have much choice."

Alec shivered and gathered up her clothes for when she transformed back.
" Let's go."
Kefira nodded and walked at his side, being a little taller than him now.

[SIZE=1]Alec and the newly-transformed vampire Kefira walked down the halls of the building, their spotless whiteness almost blinding them. Alec walked a good few yards away from Kefira, making sure that she couldn't bite him if she lost control.

"Stop right there, you two!" shouted a voice from behind them. They turned, and saw a group of soldiers, at least twenty, maybe even thirty, all armed with automatic rifles and grenade belts.

One of their radios crackled, and a muffled voice came through, too unclear for Alec or Kefira to hear exactly what they were saying, and then the soldiers put away their automatic rifles, holstering them on their backs. The leader then drew a long, clear plastic pistol, and aimed it at Alec. He fired twice, and two needles filled with a powerful sedative flew out of the barrel, piercing Alec's clothes and injecting their contents into his bloodstream. Within a few seconds, he was unconscious on the floor. Kefira looked down at him, then leapt at the soldiers, who fired wildly in her direction. A bullet clipped her shoulder, and she fell to the floor, bleeding. She groaned in pain and clutched at her shoulder, blood seeping between the fingers.

The soldier who Kefira assumed must be the captain walked over to her and drew his sedative pistol again, firing a shot directly into her head, knocking her out almost instantly. He holstered the pistol and took his radio out, saying into it:

"We've got them. They're both alive, just as requested. We'll have them at the research lab any minute now."
