i gave everything i had and still you turn away
if it wasn't enough nothing in this world will be
since you're living this life only for yourself
just know that i lived mine for you too

i gave you the world and it wasn't good enough
so i gave you my life and still you're not satisfied
you say its hurting you but i promise this hurts me more
you're all alone and i've done all that i can do

so you tell me its way too hard to make it on your own
you can do all things through me, so why are you running away?
you're searching for the things that you're missing
but the only thing you're missing is me
