OK who here besides me likes Eerie Queerie? Its totally cool. Ok for those of you who do not know what it is its a manga (yaoi-ish) about a guy (Mitsuo) who can see, talk and be possesed by ghost. Yet they are mostly girl ghost. And since he goes to an all-guy school most of the girls like most of his classmates. Therefore when they posses his body the guys think he is gay. Well luck would have it the first guy (Hasunuma) "he" ask out is gay. At first he is totaly disgusted since and does his best to ignore him but then he gets slightly use to it. Well the ghost in love with Hasunuma finally resolves her issues with him and pass on. But Hasunuma and Mitsuo stay friends and Hasunuma can not keep his hands off him! :love: Well the next character we are introduced to is Ichi and he also falls for Mitsuo but totaly denises it. Then we meet a shindo priest (but right now his name escapes me) who is gay and falls for any male, ghost or alive. SO thats basicaly it but its really sweet and funny. The first time Hasunuma kissed Mitsuo he passed out! :laugh: :love:

PS Lady Katana thanks for the info that was my first thread ever. I know you where doing your job so thanks! :love:

Alright, I've looked at this thread enough, I migh as well reply ;) YES! I've read Eerie Queerie ^__^ This manga is awesome, all should praise it! Ok, maybe not go that far, heh, but when it comes to being funny, this would be up there. I've laughed more at Eerie Queerie than I have at any other comedy manga I believe... but I'm sure that has to do with shounen-ai flying all over the place ^-^ It's like Gravitation, but... different... ._. No shounen-ai fan should go without reading this =P My only wish is that it had a less gay name, like the origional Japanese name, which was simply called Ghost!. I have my dad phoning stores asking to order in a copy, it's not every day I hear my father saying "I would like to order a copy of Eerie Queerie" O_o;; He wonders exactly WHAT it's about... psst, I've told him about Gravitation, but this I think I'll have him keep guessing on this one :D

I haven't read it, but I heard it was really funny.
Also, I hear it's full of shounen-ai.

Maybe you could give us a description of the manga hyper123. It'd be easier to talk about it for those who haven't read it, and it would make those who haven't read it want to read it more.

It's about a boy named Mitsuo, who, unfortunately, can hear and see spirits. In the first manga, two girls (at different times) try to take over his body, and he acts as a host (whether he wants to or not) for the spirits until they can become recognized by certain people. This is how Mitsuo made friends with Hasanuma, because the first girl has a crush on him, andin the end, the ghost ends up being exorcised. Mitsuo decides to befriend her, and she finally leaves him alone of her own accord.

It's a really funny manga; there are hints at shounen-ai, but it creeps the main character out. ^_^ And there isn't much shounen-ai in the first manga. I don't know about the rest, but I do have the first manga. I would really reccomend it.

You forgot to mention Ichi. He shows up in the first manga as well. ^^

I've read the entire series, and I have to say, it's very nice. I would more than likely recommend it to someone who's just starting to get into shounen-ai/yaoi manga, though,
as it sort of pokes the yaoi border quite firmly in the ending, but doesn't break through it. There are times during the third volume that you wonder, however.
^^;

But, yeah. I would undoubtedly recommend this to someone trying to break their gums on shounen-ai manga. A really cute series with at least one memorable character. lol Depends on what your take on the whole thing is. But definately worth a read, regardless.

Alternative title:
Ghost!

Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Genres: Comedy, Romance, Shoujo, Supernatural

Plot Summary: Mitsuo Shiozu is a sort of 'medium' who's body appeals to sprits. They can take him over and set things to rest, leaving him as a spirit while they do it. Unfortunately, female spirits tend to posses him, and as a result, two of his male classmates develop crushes on him. Mysteries and crossdressing hijinks ensue, along with romance as Mitsuo attends school with Hasunuma and Ichi, the two who have feelings for him. Between all of these things, which of the boys will Mitsuo choose...

I Have to agree, because i have read all of them, and they are great. They made me laugh so hard. It's really cute too how they act around each other and how they try to deny their feelings, somr of them are just open and would do anything to you. Do you know if they made a anime out of it. I would like to watch it if they did. It would probably be way fuunier to see it. ;)
