[SIZE=1]Japhiel felt the white-hot burn of the blade swing past his face as he jumped. He flipped backwards onto the table and blocked the following slashes. The two blades crackled and hissed as they struck each other. His own blade slashed open a small mounted computer on the table as it was parried away, throwing sparks into the air. His foe was relentless, still coming at Japhiel with the same fury as before. His foe?s black cloak flowed out as he spun, slashing at Japhiel. The scarlet blade singed Japhiel?s clothes, causing thin wisps of black smoke to waft into the air. Japhiel dodged and jumped away from his foe?s attacks.

?You know nothing of power, fool,? snarled his foe as they fought.

?Rage is not power, Katan. It is weakness,? replied Japhiel.

?You shall not call me Katan. It is no longer my name. I am, now and forever, Darth Kassius!? He slashed, the power of the Force flowing through his veins and into his arm, powering his blows. Japhiel was sweating as he had never sweated before. He dare not admit it, but his old friend was too powerful. There was little chance of him ever defeating Darth Kassius.

Japhiel jumped from the table, and ripped a power generator from the wall, hurling it at Kassius. He blocked, throwing the generator away with his own considerable Force powers. He leapt around the room, bouncing off the walls and hurling himself at Japhiel. His lightsaber crackled through the air, and made contact with Japhiel. It sliced through flesh and bone alike, hacking off Japhiel?s arm with amazing precision. The scent of charred flesh filled the room, and Japhiel lay on the floor, clutching the stump of his arm. It was smoking, his flesh burnt and charred.

Kassius walked over, deactivating his lightsaber and hooking it onto his belt. He let his cloak flop over his body, and looked at Japhiel with his cold yellow eyes.

?You were always weak, Japhiel, and now you are the first Jedi to be killed in the name of the new Sith empire!? He reached out with the Force, and closed off Japhiel?s airway. The young Jedi choked to death.

Kassius walked away calmly, leaving the Republic guards to clear up the mess created by his battle with Japhiel?

This is my new Star Wars RP, something which I haven?t really tried before, so bear with me. It is set after everything you know about Star Wars. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo and every other Jedi or Republic hero you know about are gone, died of natural causes. But the Jedi Republic has continued, growing stronger over the years. Before he died, Luke Skywalker thought he had wiped out the Sith, leaving them unable to return. But he was wrong.

In his conquest, he left a single Sith Lord remaining. This man was named Darth Lucius, and he was a powerful Sith Lord, able to hide his midi-chlorian signiature from the Jedi, and thus was able to fool them into thinking that he was a mere civilian. He has restarted the Sith empire, corrupting new Jedi to turn them to the Dark Side. Katan, a powerful young Jedi, was the first to be turned by Lucius, and he has grown stronger than ever through the power of the Dark Side of the Force.

You will all start off as new Jedi, training with the Jedi Masters on Kashyyk, home of the Wookiees. Some of you will remain as Jedi, but others of you will turn and become part of the new Sith Empire. The choice of where you end up is yours.

She's very calm, and hardly ever acts happy. She could be overjoyed, and you'd never be able to tell. This doesn't mean she's emotionless...she just hides them very well.

Her hair is the same color, and she keeps it cut short. She shares her cousin's bad hair, so she usually wears a head scarf over it. Her eyes are said to be exactly like those of her great-grandfather, a deep amathyst.

[B]Bio:[/B] Alask was raised hearing about two people all her life: her gerat grandfather Borsk Fey'lya, a politition vital in the founding of the New Republic, and Corran Horn, the Jedi fighter pilot who trained her uncle. So all her life, she's heard of the two worlds - politition and Jedi.

Alask actually wanted to go into poloitics. She was excellent at arguing her cases, at getting her point across...but when she discovered that she did have Force powers, she chose to join the Academy; not wanting her to lose control of them and possibly hurting someone.

Progress has been slow. She is not good with her lightsaber, and she still tends to argue rather than focus on the problem...

[B]Bio:[/B] Mimishi when she was born was alligned with House Sobosen which is responsable for justice, health, and education. She grew up being taught that you should protect all beings who need it, and how to heal others. Her parents knowing she was a Jedi, have always made sure she learned things that would help later when they sent her to train with other Jedi.

She began helping in the courts when she was 13, and continued working there till she was 16, when her parent decided it was time to send her to train.

Mimishi is very protective of those who need it and those who are guilty can be sure she will show mercy, but still give them their just punishment.

Because she is a Chiss, she ages differantly than humans and though she is 16 in human years her mentality and intelligence is that of a 21 year old.

Chiss aren't that open with their culture so Mimishi doesn't tell anyone much about herself.

[B]Personality:[/B] Rude, brash, and hard-headed. Cedrax usually doesn't use his head when the time comes but when brute strength is in order than Cedrax is more than qualified for the task at hand. Cedrax has found himself in more binds than some Jedi Padawans put together but by some un-seen force, other than THE force, he manages to get out of the predicaments, but that doesn't stop the Jedi masters from laying into him. Cedrax relies on strong Lightsaber attacks and an abundance of Force powers such as the much known Darkside power, Force Lightning.

[B]Bio:[/B] Brought into the Jedi community as a very small child with much potential but his prowess was that of the Dark kind. The Jedi Masters knew it, but they vow to see every Padawan to the end, Light or Dark. In his early ages, Cedrax used his powers to gain avantages over people and to trick them to do his bidding, and he always quarreled with other young ones. The Jedi Masters tried to deteer him from his Dark ways but more often than not he ignored them and went on his way. Cedrax didn't limit his evil to just people, he also used his powers on the creatures of Kashyyk like the highly dangerous Arachnids and even tried his luck with the Wookies, who didn't take kindly to the Jedi tricks.

As Cedrax got into his teens his Dark sided tendencies sub-sided somewhat and he was much less evil than he was in his earlier years, but he still didn't use his head as much as he should and still fought on a daily basis and even took up using blasters and other weaponry than just his Lightsaber, his influences for it were from historical figures such as Boba Fett and Jaster Mereel who were both great gun-fighters and ruthless Mandalorian Warriors. Although he was less evil than he was a kid he still took advantage of people and Wookies he was sent to help out in times of peril but demanding more credits than the task was worth, and he still attacked the creatures of Kashyyk for "training." Cedrax still gets a rise of teasing other Jedi students and has even engaged in Lightsaber duels with them out of anger.

About a year ago Cedrax had gotten into it with another Jedi student and nearly took his life. The other student was no match for Cedrax but attacked with relentless ferocity, and great agility. The student ran circles around Cedrax, fooling him with quick movements and feigning Lightsaber attacks. Cedrax, fed up with being made a fool of, launched him own counter-attack against the student and ended up destroying the students Lightsaber and injuring him with a shot to the arm by a small assassin blaster, even still Cedrax didn't stop there as he let loose a flurry of lightning from his palm and shocked the student into great agony, a Jedi Master arrived in just enough time to save the student from Cedrax's attack. From then on Cedrax has tried to re-form but unfortunately his efforts have been to no avail, just another push towards the Dark Side will send him over the edge for good.

Personality[/B]: Although he upholds the Bothan tradition of pride and arrogance when challenged, Jassk is actually one of the nicer Bothans you might meet. Strong minded and charismatic, he would probably leave a lasting impression on you if you met him.

[B]Bio[/B]: Jassk is Alask's cousin, and junior by two years. He was born on Bothawui, but his family moved to Mon Calimari after striking rich in a galactic lottery. Opon reaching the age of 15, he decided to move back to Bothawui to join the Bothan Martial Academy. He graduated near the tops of his class, and got a security job at Commenor.

When Jassk turned 24, he bought passage offworld to see his parents. Shortly after arriving on Mon Calimari, he recieved a message from the Jedi Academy stating that he had force potential. Although he had never even had the faintest inkling that he could be force potent, Jassk decided to go anyways. And here we are...

[B]Personality[/B]: Katan used to be a lively, friendly young Jedi, who worked well in the team and fought bravely alongside his Jedi companions. He was a well-like member of the team, and the last one anyone expected to turn to the Dark Side. But that all changed when he was fighting alongside his close friend Japhiel, and something happened (explained in Bio) that made him lose all faith in his friends. He began to become more dark and brooding, and eventually was corrupted by Darth Lucius. He was well-trained by Lucius, and he became a master of all the Dark Side Force powers. He is now a cold-hearted killer, who will stop at nothing to destroy all Jedi.

[B]Appearance[/B]: Kassius is tall, around 6?9?, and reasonably broad-shouldered. He has shoulder-length slightly curly black hair and very pale skin. His eyes are yellow, with a trace of red around the iris, and he has a small scar over one eye. He wears a black Jedi-style robe, with black trousers and knee-high black leather boots, and a black armour-lined cloak with a hood, which he occasionally has up. A lot of people are startled by his resemblance to Anakin Skywalker before he was disfigured by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and it is because of this that the rumour has circulated that he is somehow descended from the Skywalker line, a rumour unconfirmed by him.

[B]Bio[/B]: Katan didn?t know his parents. He was abandoned at a very young age, left on the doorstep of the Jedi academy. He was taken in by the Jedi, but not put into training at first, as it was unknown whether he had Jedi potential. When it was discovered that he had a high midi-chlorian count, he was put into training. He made a lot of friends in training, and became especially close to Japhiel, another promising young Jedi, and they became partners in combat. They were never seen anywhere without each other.

One mission which they were required to go on was a routine search-and-destroy mission of an abandoned Sith fortress on a remote ice-moon. Katan and Japhiel went together, and found that the Sith fortress was not abandoned. It had been overrun by the Snow People, cousins of the Sand People, or Tuscan Raiders. There was a pitched battle, and in the middle of it, Japhiel didn?t kill a Snow Person who was attacking Katan, even though he had the chance. Katan was seriously injured by the Snow Person, and only through his extensive knowledge of the Force did he escape with his life. He never forgave Japhiel, taking to spending many hours alone in his room, studying far too much.

His personality became dark and brooding, and he became shut away, and separated from all the others. He did not understand many of the teachings of the Jedi, how they were not supposed to kill apart from in self-defence. Why could they not kill? He became angry with his masters, and eventually ran away from the Jedi Academy, planning to use his Jedi training to live in the wild, free from laws and rules.

But then, very soon after he had run away, he was found by a man called Darth Lucius, who showed him he could be more powerful fighting against the Jedi, and he didn?t need to follow their rules and guidelines any more. He was trained by Lucius, and he became a powerful Sith warrior. He has now made it his mission to seek out and destroy all Jedi, no matter what the cost.

His first kill was Japhiel, and then he went on to kill three Jedi masters and countless other Jedi padawans and many civilians as well. His power using the Force is almost unmatched, and his skill with a lightsaber is of a standard unseen since the time of Yoda and the Clone Wars.

[b]Personality:[/b] Kassaen always seemed a little...dark. As if, his personality was malnourished from anything that was 'good'. This has led him to focus soley on his training for the first twenty years of his life. However, he realized that if he didn't get more...socially active, he would never resume his training, for the Masters might fear of some dark intentions.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Kassaen is about 5'8, with a strong stature from his concentration on his training. Kassaen manages to hide this under his robe, a deciving white, in stark contrast to his black hair that he spikes up, which takes, most often, a lot of time. Kassaen has colbat blue eyes, with a gold ring around his corona from a disease he contracted as a child.

[b]Bio:[/b] Kassaen grew up on the planet of Coursant, the City Planet. His father was on the Senate, so Kassaen was spoiled from early on. However, the old courruption of the Senate leaked into his father and mother, and down to him. In order to purge this...chaos, his parents brought him before the Jedi Council.

He was accepted, his Midi-Chlorian count high, even for one who can understand the force and use it. He trained from early on, by seven he was using the tranee lightsabers ment for people twice his age.

Kassaen, by the age of fourteen, could take on up to four people his age at once, and defeat them all within two minutes, lightsaber wise. For the force, it took him a little longer, up to a minute, but he still could defeat them.

Kassaen, to the current day, has become quite strong, but the Council refuses to see it. He has become more social, and apologized for the people he beat at any time. Now, he's out to become even stronger....

It will take him a while to trust a non-human, but will evantually warm up to them if they are friendly. He is quick to action and and acts before thinks alot of the time despite the discipline instilled on him by his ex-military father.

[b]Bio:[/b] Jureel was born on Coruscant, the seat of the Republic government. He grew up in the towering, world encompassing city and is not used to nature, so he is unnerved by the towering trees of Kashyykk. His mother died when he was 4 years old, the victim of a speeder crash that also claimed the lives of several other drivers and their passengers.

He has been raised by his father, who has instilled in him discipline, and has insisted that he by sparse when showing emotion. This has lead to him bottling up feelings inside and occasionally lashing out at those around him. At the age of 15, he was approached by the Jedi, and although his father opposed it, he was taken to be trained in the way of the Force.

He has trained as a Jedi for the past 5 years, and has become adept at using his powers, especially in conjuction with a lightsaber. He does not go eagerly into combat however. He will not hesitate if he believes violence is nessescary. He rebels slightly against some of the Jedi tenents, but is overall a decent Jedi so far. He has only recntly completed his own lightsaber, since he felt before that he was not ready for it.

He works hard and tries to help others when he can. He loves numbers and often recites mathematical formulas or problems in his head while meditating or strengthening his mind.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Kel is of average height, about 5'10" and has long black hair, which he keeps tied back in a pony-tail. His eyes are a bright bule and his skin is a light tan color. He dresses in the brown and white robes of a Jedi or Padawan when he isn't training or flying. When he does train he wears a dark blue jumpsuit, with several pockets for a variety of things.

[b]Bio:[/b] Kel was born on Commenor to a middle-class merchant family. As the eldest of three brothers he was somewhat doted upon, but never spoiled. He was taught responsibility at a young age and that to succeed in life one has to work for it. He picked up an interest in math at a young age and by age thirteen was learning some advanced physics.

As he entered his teens he was being groomed to take over the business from his father when he retired. This did appeal to Kel. He began going out at night, looking for interesting things to do and sometimes getting into trouble. As he grew older he began to feel as if he could "hear" the planet around him, sometimes even people when they hadn't said anything.

One day, a few months after his fourteenth birthday, a Jedi showed up at his home and explained to him and his parents that he was force sensitive. He could train to become a Jedi Knight and learn the ways of the force. Kel was stunned. He could never have imagined that he could become a Jedi Knight. After discussion with
his family he decided to become a Jedi Knight. He bid his parents good-bye and took his first few steps into a larger world.

He has trained for seven years straight and is learning very quickly. Although he is not as powerful at using the Force as others, bnut he is learning quickly. He is decently skilled with a lightsaber, but not as good as some. His chief strength is in resisting influence of his mind, mainly because of his math resitals. He is eager and works diligently. He will not fail.

Personality: Exador is a humble, quiet, and patient. Like all of his species, he is constantly aware of his actiohns, and very conscious of the repurcussions they may have. This sometimes exasperates the others, as he tends to be slow in conversation and tries to pick the answer he knows will pacify his friends best. Yet when it comes to the battlefiled, natural intinct takes over, making him a fierce and very competent fighter.

Appearance: (in search of a decent Gand picture...but, think large green insectoid, with 3 fingers, and green exoskelton. And Exador is regenerative gand, so he doesn't need breathing gear.)

[B]Personality:[/B] Jodo, like most of his species, carries a wit and charm that overshadows their diminuitive appearence. Jodo is very reflective of his situations and his companions, the large ears of his species are a symbol of the fact that he likes to listen and reflect more than talk. He is wise beyond his ears, and, despite being very young for one of his species, he is very much respected amongst his peers. He is not a rash character, and is not hasty to draw his lightsabre. However, once he has drawn it, his skills with his blade are almost unparalleled.

[B]Appearance:[/B] Jodo, like most of his species, is very small, standing at roughly .65 metres tall. He has dull green skin, with large protruding ears and deep green eyes. He has no hair on his head. His hands have three fingers each, and his feet three toes. He wears a simple black robe (similar to Yoda's brown one from AoTC), and over it he wears a cream coloured cloak. He is always barefoot, and wears no gloves over his hands.

[B]Bio:[/B] Jodo was discovered to be gifted in the force by Master Jedoth. Jedoth visited his home planet some 30 years ago when Jodo was not even two years old, and recognised the potential in the infant. He was taken be Jedoth to the Jedi Academy on Kashyyyk to be trained.

As with most force sensitive members of Jodo's race, Jodo seemed to exhibit an extreme gift for channeling the living force. Master Jedoth, who displayed a fondness in Jodo as he grew up (possibly from them being of the same race), would often be found tutoring in the ways of the Force, even away from lessons with the other Academy 'younglings'.

Jodo found a particular fondness in lightsabre combat once he reached adolescence. Not for the thrill of fighting, but for the skill and focus it demanded, and the necessity to protect. By chanelling the force into his own body as he fought, he could perform contortionist like feats otherwise impossible to a sentient (Form IV). An opponent would encounted an array of dazzling and fast paced lightsabre attacks, behind which Jodo was but a blur. However, his dedication to the peace-keeping nature of the Jedi means that his style is not often seen in combat.
