Filipinorocker1
Mangas to me is a way of life. I read manga, I watch anime I draw manga. I can't get enough of it. Without manga I would not be my true self. To some people that sounds very weird, but to me it's not. Now I am not obssessed with manga. My whole life doesn;t revolve around manga I have sports and guitar and friends, but manga is still a huge part of my life. This is gonna sound corny but manga is a part of me. So, just curious what does manga mean to you? Just post your reply.

emiko of tokyo
well personally manga and anime for that fact is part of my life , i thought when u get to the age that im at (18) u get over it and u go on, but i personally write it , im not a drawer but i use manga as an emotional crutch and i get through my day. its not like im addicted to it and have no life, its just a comfort zone that i find myself over and over again comin back to .i think until i die (from not gettin a deal to publish my manga) that anime will be part of my life.
shakon
Anime and Mangas are great. To me, they're something that you can go to anytime for comfort when you need something to cheer you up. And also, to me, they're a carrer choice. It's something I wanna do with my life because it's fun! :animesmil
Kamuro
For me manga is a release. Whether then getting angry or stressing out, I just sit down and draw, or watch an anime, etc. I've sat down and for hours just drew, and I messed up time after time after time, but theres really no feeling like getting the drawing perfect or getting the character right from your head and placing it on the paper. It makes you proud to know that its something you've created, or you took something someone else drew and made it your own. Its an accomplishment. Pumpkin
I can't go as far as saying that manga is a huge part of my life, but it is something that I enjoy from time to time. I really only read manga when I throughouly enjoy the Anime (especially when it comes to favorites) or if it continues off of the Anime in which of course, I'll want to find out more. I love to read but buying mangas is expensive and I dislike reading it online for some reason. The only manga I really bought that wasn't an anime in the first place was Peach Girl but I'm dying to read Mars. I'm a sucker for romance manga for some reason, don't know why. Momiji Love
Manga takes a few forms of importance in my life. Its something that made me closer to two of my now great friends. We found out quite by accident that we both loved manga. Now ever since we have been swapping books back and forth, him and him from their extensive collections and me giving them a few Furuba as I buy and finsh them. :catgirl: It also is a creative outlet for me.I love to draw my favorite panels, even though I'm not such a good drawer.I also make up things that I think should have happened and sometimes get in the mood to start up a fan-fic,even though I write a few paragraphs and give up and/or loose the notebook I was writing in! They are also a lovely addition to my family of things. :animeswea Sounds sorta selfish, but I love my stuff.I am sorta disgustingly clean and neat about my Furuba's,since they are the only ones I own.I hate to bend the cover too much and I don't like folding pages.I even avoid holding onto the book while I cry at sad parts so my tears/(yeah its yucky but) occasional snot drip onto the page and have it dry all crinkly.

Kiyu-chan
Manga's a part of my life...it's what I do when I'm bored/stressed/angry/need to retreat from life...whatever else ya throw at me. Usually I read the manga, and if I thouroughly enjoy it, I'll watch the anime (should it exist). I've tried my hand at drawing it, but I'm a very short-tempered person...and I can't seem to be patient enough to draw manga...or anything really. :animeangr But it's a link between my friends and I as well. I got my best friend hooked, and so now we swap manga back and forth...I buy her something she's collecting/is hooked on and she'll let me borrow it. She does the same for me! Granted...it irritates my parents/other friends/teachers/anyone who dislikes "backwards books"...but that's half the fun! :D Okay. I'm sounding obsessive again, so I'll quit while I'm ahead. Sorta.
