Anime Hikaru no Go

Yeah, I hate that they bumped it back. Maybe they'll at least include song subs... oh, wait, it's Viz we're talking about here. No chance.

I'm still hoping they'll speed up the prospective release schedule--I mean, at the pace they have set up (about one disc every three months), it'll be around five years before the whole series comes out. By then, Blu-Ray or HD-DVD will probably have taken hold. :animedepr

Well, either way, December 27th will be a happy day indeed.

EDIT: I have March 28th listed as the volume 2 release date... I think that came from ANN as well.

Well as many of you know Hikaru No Go is playing on toonamijetstream.com, I've seen the first five episodes which are all available on the site. It's all about Hikaru Shindo not sure if i spelled his name right or not but anyways he starts playing the game Go (i want to play it so badly) he dose this because a spirit named Sigh not sure if I spelled that right either. His skills improve with each game and the game is awesome. so i started this thread to see how many others love the show

Unfortunately I have yet to watch the animated series, but I will get around to it eventually :animesigh But I really find it funny how Hikaru no Go can be so addicting, even though all they're doing is playing Go. Ah, yes, Hikaru no Go. I love this series. Alas, I can never afford to buy my own Manga (One Piece being a MAJOR exception. Heck, I'm even buying Grand Adventure [I may have to arson-ize Gamecrazy if it doesn't get here soon :whoops: .]) As of the moment, I am currently waiting for my good friend Sojiro47 to make another Borders run so I can "borrow" (Read: steal) his copies.
