"As the prophacy states sir, they are all alive again. They seem to be resanating sir..."
"How is that possible? I don't understand?"
A soldier ran into the small building and saluted.
"Sir! Your daughter is missing."
"WHAT!"
The commander and solder ran through the base and stoped at his daughters door, Her bed empty, her closet empty as well. A note posted on her mirrior told her father where she was going.

I hope you understand what I'm about to tell you, I love you with all my heart but something seems to be calling me, I have to leave you for now. I'll come home I promise but I have to do this right now. I hope you understand, Tell junior that I love him and to take good care of you...I mean let's face it, you don't do a very good job do you? The elemental swords have reawoken and are calling for their weilders to come and save humanity from the shadows. As the prophacy states the only real enemy that they have is each other, to save humanity, or to kill it to cleanse the earth. The choice is theirs to decide. They must find their sword that has chosen them, seven kids, seven swords, seven elements. Will the world live and humanity be destroyed, or will they all ralley together to cleanse the earth and save humanity? One eenmy can come between them and their fate. Rasputin, the councior of the Rominovs in the late years. A powerful sorcerer who will stop at nothing to have the Elemental swords. He will offer the seven kids anything to get them to join him and his dark purpose.


Arni walked through the woods, her large Rotwiller Reg by her side. She kept walking and walking when she came upon a small village and stopped for the night to rest, her tatoo on her shoulder was pulsigna dn glowing a bright red now, it suddenly turned blue and spread about her shoulders and back. She looked at Reg and sighed.
"Well, I suppose where ever it's been leading us, we're finally there, eh boy?"
The dog barked and led the way into the village for what they hopped was a good nights rest and some good food.

Kahlan raised his head out of the water just far enough to allow his nostrils to draw breath for him. He had been enjoying a very cleansing bath. Now something was approaching him. He had too many enemies just to ignore whatever it was. There was a heavy breathing that came from whatever was coming his way. The bushes moved and Kahlan darted back under not taking his eyes off of the spot where the bushes had moved. Something came out, on fourl legs. Even through the constantly movin surface he could tell that this was a black and large creature with a strong snout.

Kahlan emerged again slightly to get a look at the dog that had come down to the edge of the water, near where he had left all of his clothing. The dog sniffed his clothing and pushed its nose deep into it to get an even deeper whiff of his odor.

"Reg." A voice called from beyond. "Come back here." The dog lifted hie head from Kahlan's clothing and looked towards where his master is. Kahlan couldn't see the dog's master but he just wanted them to leave anyways. Then the dog came back and grabbed the leg of his pants and ran off towards his master carrying the pants.

After he was sure they were gone Kahlan got out of the water and looked down at his clothing. "Damn it!" He shouted. "It figures. It just figures that I find a place that can get away long enough from my enemies that I have a small chance to relax and bullshit like this happens." He put on whatever he could but that wasn't enough. He needed to get his pants back and whoever owned the dog didn't bother to come back to see who the dog may have taken it from.

Kahlan had to track them, which wasn't very comfortable since he didn't have pants to stop all of the weeds and sticks from striking his exposed legs. He adventaully was lead to a small village. He could see the dog too as they were just entering. Something on his owners shoulder did something rather weird. It changed from red to blue and spread across the person's body. When it went back to normal the person turned and looked back at the dog.

Arin blinked and scowled at the dog.
"Reg, who's are those?"
The dog shook them violently and dropped them rolling on them for a few moments when she yugged them loose. Reg jumped for them but Arin yanked them away.
"No, Reg. They're not yours. Question is, where dod you get them and why...they're filthy..."
She hung them in a tree and sat under it resting.
"You know, I suppose we could take a break."
She pulled a bag of provsions and a flask of mint cordial from the bag and threw a chocolate scon to the dog and smiled as he ate it happily. She swallowed some of the cool drink and sighed.
"Reg...something tells me I'm not the only one with a marking likr this..."
The dog nuzzled her hand looking for another scon, she smiled and gave it to him gladly.
"In these times, modren day and olden times are basicly fused together and we live in the old new world. We have guns and cars and modren technology, but we live in the old ways, travleing on foot, and living in villages. It's weird."
She stood swiftly pulling out two solid black pistols and aimign them where the noise came from, Reg on his feet looking with er and growling.
"I heard you, who's there? Come out and I promise I won't harm you."
she searched the foilage carfully, her keen eyes picking up nothing but she was sure that a person had made that noise. It was to loud for an animal. She sat back down and looked up where she hung the pants, they were gone and she could see broken limbs from somwone climbing the tree.
"Clever bastard."
She packed her things and found her flask missing as well as two scons.
"Look, if your thirsty or hungry, why don't you come out and I'll share what I have. That's not much, trust me. I have more if you want it."
She turned tworads the village and then back again to see her flask on the ground, empty.
"Sute yourself than..."
she shrugged and filled the flask leaving it on the ground for whoever was there, she looked around for reg who had ventured into the forest and found someone and was busy licking the man's han clean of the residue of chocolate scon. she whistle dand patted her leg.
"Reg, let's go boy, we still have a little ways to go before we can lay down and rest for the night."
She picked up everything but a small bag of scons and the flask of mint cordial and begane the walk into the village.


OCC: For anyone who doesn't know what cordial is, it's strong highly flavored sweet liquor usually drunk after a meal.

[Who Am I?]

[B]Lint was getting ready to take off on her journey. Her parents were doing some archery in the backyard and Lint left a note. [/B]

I'm sorry but I am going to explore the unknown world. I must leave. I tell you, I will be fine. I have pack enough stuff and food and I also took Lady (the falcon) so I could write to you. I'm sorry. I love you Mama and Papa.

[COLOR=Purple]"Well I'm off..." Lint said to herself, "Come on Lady."[/COLOR] [B]A falcon came swooping through the door and landed on Lint's shoulder.[/B]

[B]Lint walked her way through a deep forest and was walking for a long time until she came to a small village. [/B]

[B]She looked around and spotted two people. A girl with a dog and a boy following her. Lint thought it was pretty funny since it looked like the boy like the girl.[/B]

[I]In a meditated state, Kuro sits quietly upon a tree stump at the edge of a calm flowing river. He sits listening to the sleek sound of the wind, all of the sudden he hears the shrewd bark of a dog coming closer. Kuro awakes from his meditated state, and notices a wet nose inches from his face. He jumps up screaming like a little girl..[/I] "Ahhhhhh! Get it away! Its going to eat me alive!"

[I]Out of nowhere a woman jumps through the bushes and scares Kuro even more[/I] "Ahhhh!"

"whoa! Damn! You act like you have never seen a dog before."

I have! ... Just never that big..." Kuro replied

"Well.. anyway my name is Arni Regani, you?ve already met my dog. His name is Reg." Said the woman

[I]Kuro puts out his right hand and the two shake hands.[/I]

"Pleasure to meet you Arni, my name is Kuro Nyoko... Umm you can let go of my hand now.."

"Sorry.. It's just I noticed you have a marking on your hand... I have one too, see."

"Wow I thought I was the only one who had one.. I need to ask to you something... I need to find out more about these markings and was wondering if I can accompany you to where ever it is you are going."

Arni giggled as Reg sniffed him all around and licked his hand.
"Certianly, I'm heading for the village not far from here. Your more than welcome to come along if you wanna."
Reg barked happily at finally having someone new to play with other than Arni. He ran a circle around Kuro and barked twice getting down into a pouncing postion. Arni giggled again.
"He likes you, well let's go, it's to much further."
She patted her leg and Rg followed obediately, she looked back at the tatoo as it began to resonate.

[Heartless Me]

The soft wind for a moment picks up to a chill breeze then dies to an eerie silence as Drecht enters the village. People almost don't seem to notice he's there as he walks through the streets even as he stands out like a sore thumb. His body easily six foot and four inches tall and weighing about two and a half hundred pounds. His torso is without a shirt only two black leather straps appearing as to hold up his tight black leather pants. Black hiking boots strapped to his waist. His empty eyes look from person to person with hand on blade. A series of scrolls appear to be resting in a satchel off to the opposite side.

Drecht took a deep breath and exhaled in disgust. He hated life. what it had become, the decadence of mankind and how it hurt the earth. I knew now was not the time though. He'd come with a purpose and he felt the resonance of the other blades here.

Drecht: Fools, they know not the power they hold. The cleansing to this world they could achieve. With their power the planet could be cleansed of the stain of man so that nature may be given time to heal.

The man stood up straight and walked more briskley in the direction that felt the coldest. The direction of the blade named Ice Seal. Ignoring the growing chill that resulted as he approached the corresponding weapon.

They both have the same marks as Kahlan. He wondered how this was possible. He took a moment to take a look at the symbol that had always been there. Something outstanding on his bicep that could have been the cause of why he has been hunted.

"So you are Arni and you are Kuro right?" Kahlan asked them suspiciously. Too many enemies to just trust these people that had come out of no where. For all he could guess they were working together against him. The dog could have just been a stratagy to get him to come out, but he hardly believed that his enemies knew about this mark. He never allowed to to show before.

The boy and girl nodded to his question.

"Well I'm Rye," he lied, "I've sort of wondered about this thing too. I always figured that it was some sort of tribal tatoo, but that couldn't be since I came from nowhere near any tribes. Perhaps the two of you can explain a few things to me about them."

"Sorry," Arni said, "I won't be able to help you then. I know very little about them myself."

"You do?" Kahlan sighed.

"Yeah."

"I'm supposing that you are hey..." The dog again. It was trying to get into his pockets. "Go away. You stole these once before, weren't you satisfied with that? Do I have to be totally naked for you to just leave me alone?"

"Don't mind Reg. He's really a sweetheart." She pushed the dog a bit towards her and led it away from him. "Of coarse if he bothers you just ask him to lie down."

"Um...sure. I'll make sure to remember that the next time that dog tries to take my clothing."

"Wait, you didn't have any food on you did you?"

"Or that could have been it." Kahlan reached in and pulled out a scon. "I guess I forgot about this. I guess I'm not such the clever bastard afterall." That got her to giggle. At least these people weren't stern like most of his enemies. "Thank you for the food earlier. I hadn't eaten in the past couple of days. Mercinary work isn't in that high of a demand right now. So anyways, about these marks..."

[Akieen Cloud]

Arni pinted at Reg to lay down and fed him another scone from her bag.
"From what I can tell they're not tribal. I think that they may be...I dunno...symbolic, but for what I don't know."
She spun around and frowned as Reg's fur bristled on his back. Hackle rose from his throat and he began to rise from his postion on the ground.
"Reg...what is it boy?'
She froze as a feeling of danger washed over her. She shivered as she noticed her skin getting goose bumps.
"Something isn't right..."
She saw a shadow move and pulled Kuro and Rye to her back to back. Rye frowned and pulled away, she pulled him to her again harder.
"Stay close...it's dangerous, whateverit is."
Reg jogged over to her and began to growl at a spot in the bushes. Arni pulled to clear blue pistols from her sides and pulled the triggers tightly on both fireing a burage of bullets into the bushes. She gasped as a young man came from the bushes, the same marking on him as was on the others but, he was diffrent.
"Who are you?"
"I am Drecht. You hold similar powers to me."
"I don't understand, what powers do you mean?"
Arin looked around at the others and moved closer.

[I]Kuro gave a cold stare at Drecht... For some reason he felt a bond with him.. Not a good bond, but one that enemies sometimes share... The marking on Kuro's right hand begins to shed a very bright light[/I]

"Ahhh! My hand burns!!" Kuro yelled

"Whats wrong Kuro?!" Arni replied

"I Dont know! But whom ever Drecht is hes not good in spirit! I can sense it some how.."

Sure its short but Light and Shadow are enemies just pointing it out... even though its everyone pretty much knows... its like Yin and Yang but thats another story

[Heartless Me]

Drecht let out a slight chuckle that ended in the uproar of a malicious cackle. He thought he was going to come across seasoned warriors and what he found was a bunch of children and a.... dog?! A cute little puppy? His laugh ended as abruptly as it started as he stared at what he seen as a group of rag tag children before he starts again.

Drecht: You hold powers that you do not understand nor could ever fully comprehend. If you come with me I can teach you to harness those powers. I am the harbinger of shadows and the one who has seen the end of the world. I can prepare you or i can send you there, it's your choice.

Kuro: No way! There is something definetely not right about you.

It was at that time that Arni noticed something. He had bullet holes in his body, they were bleeding but the thing that seemed the most unsettling was when Drecht seemed unaffected, on top of that the bullets shortly came out of his body and fell to the floor, the wounds visibly closing.

Kuro took a step back as he was the first to notice this. Arni let out a startled squeal as the bullets clattered against the stone street side and Kahlan's eyes narrowed as the hand on his water blade tightened in grip.

Arni: He.. He's healing?! Without magic!! how is that possible?

[Akieen Cloud]

Arni looked at Kuro and nodded in agreement.
"Your right, there is something really off about him...and powers, he said something about shadows...His marking is black so that means that he would control dark or shadow if he had powers...wait! These markings! I think they stand for our powers so if mine is blue, that must mean that I have water...or ice."
Arni closed her eyes and thought hard and suddenly felt goose bumps cover her skin as her body chilled, a strnge feeling came over her as she looked around, Kuro's marking was white, and Rye's was red...
"Light and Fire..."
Kuro and Rye looked at her and frowned. Kuro spoke first.
"What?"
"I figered it out, evertime those markings resonated, I felt a calling...this is it, I think I understand now."
She pointed her gund at Drecht again and fired, this time something happened, instead of just a regular bullet, the bullet was covered in ice.
"My 'power' as he put it is ice, my tatoo is blue, it makes sense, your's is white, that mean you would be light...Rye is red which would mean, most likely fire."
She placed her hands together, moving on instict now and formed a large ice cycle to the ground. Grabbing the end she kicked the bottom and threw the extra shards of ice away to show a clear blue crystal looking sword. Ice Seal.

[Heartless Me]

Drecht: Well this is unfortunate. You've made a grave mistake that you will all pay for.

With that he drew his sword but instead of wielding it for battle he struck it into the ground. He knew that they were no match for him in his current status so he decided to draw upon the powers of darkness to summon a few creatures to cover him. After all if the main badguy killed off the group before they got a chance to get strong there wouldn't be apoitn in the game! The ground rumbled and a small fissure appeared. There was silence for a moment on both sides before screaming erupted in another part of town heading this way. tenebrous shadowy sinews stretched up from the miniature chasm as a group of smaller demons burst into view. A larger demonic form slinking from the hole. Partially made of shadow the demon and the lesser fully fleshed demons circle and slowly converge on their target.

Drecht on the mean time seemed to step back into the void of shadows and dissappear.

There you go their first battle. the shadow demon is almost entirely immune to physical but they won't know that until they start to attack it.

[Who Am I?]

[B]Lint was skipping through the woods having a joy of fun out in the wild. She stopped. She heard a yell through the woods and ran towards it. Lady, her falcon, was flying close to her as she went running through the trees. She came to a spot where she saw a girl, a dog, and a few boys surrounding her. She notice the boy that was following the girl. She tilted her head in confusion and wondered what happened around here.[/B]

[COLOR=Purple]"Excuse me for this interruption, but I thought I just heard someone yell around here...." Lint said in her foremost polite way.[/COLOR]

[B]Her falcon rested on her shoulder and Lint waited for a reply.[/B]

[I]The pain in Kuro?s hand finally stops... All of a sudden an almost blinding light shoots from his hand... As the brightness clears Kuro realizes he?s wielding a sword.. The sword was as white as snow and glowed as bright as the sun.. He saw a girl coming toward them she said "Excuse me for this interruption, but I thought I just heard someone yell around here...."[/I]

"If you turn around you will see why we yelled.." Kuro said calmly

[I]A horde of freshly summoned demons were quickly being created... Kuro quickly charged at one of the shadow demons, and in one quick slash he took it out with his light sword[/I]

"These things are child?s play! everyone attack!!"

Sao bowed before his master. Internally, he screamed protest. Yet, as he stood next to his deceaced parents, he knew that hope was futile. Life he had, yet it was not his own. Yet, hope was all he had.

"Saio."

"Yes, my lord?" Saio asks, though he does not want to. Yet, the charm he wore in his ear, the bloodstone earring, made him do it. His very soul trapped, yet unable to use his own body.

"Those fools are plotting something. destroy them, before they have the chance to do anything."

Saio bows again, before departing into the shadows, fading away.

Arin looked around and cursed as a demon took hold of her arm and pulled ehr down.
"NO!"
A loud growl came from around them as Reg threw himself into the fight. Arin summoned her ice and froze a bunch as they jumped at the others.
"I hope they stop soon."
She continued to freeze the demons and turn around as they charged, Regthrew himself at them as well.
"Come on guys let's finish this quickly!"

OCC: Sorry so shirt, gotta go cook for dinner.

Kahlan brought the palms of his hands together and slashed to the side letting a splash of boiling water slide out from between them and across the enemy. Then he reached down and grabbed the gun held at his side and aimed. With percision he landed a shot strait into the chest of one of these demons. It did not fall or die at first and it continued towrds him until Kahlan smilled and jets of water pulsed from inside of the demon tearing it apart.

"You know these things are sort of fun to beat up on." Kahlan said looking at the others who where fighting. "I hope that I'm not the only one having fun?"

Kahlan lifted his gun again and aimed at the demon that Reg was currently on. A blast of water flung from the barrel this time and clasped onto the demon's face. It struggled and fell beneath Reg and suffocation.

"Well that looks like to be the last of them." Kahlan looked at all of the dead demon bodies laying around them. "Why would someone fight with such weak creatures anyways?" He looked at Arin who seemed to be the one who probably had the most knoledge of what is going on.

Arin looked at the one she knew as Rye and shrugged.
"Not unless he thought we weren't strong enough..."
She saw one last demon rise from behind him and rushed forwards and knocked him out of the way freezing the demon but not befroe it's raised claw struck her exsposed arm. She cursed and kicked the demon sending it shattering across the ground.
"You have to be more careful. I think we should head for the village north of here and have this looked at and stock up on supplies."
She looked at the others and nodded, she patted her leg for Reg and smiled as the faithful dog trotted to her unharmed. They headed for the village in silence.

OCC: I'm disscussing the Inuyasha Fandom thing right now so don't worry about that. We're trying to come up with something. Just post as you regularly would. Thanks!

Omega Industries: the place where nightmares begin and civilizations end. This hell-hole is run by a dark man with dark plans.

Zaier Malkior sat at his desk, thinking. Suddenly he got up, an angry expression on his face.

"I grow tired of this waiting. I [I]must[/I] find those insignificant fools and crush them, one... by... one."

He opened a desk drawer and pulled out a pistol and a tiny rod. He pushed a button on the rod, and it extended almost five feet. A wicked-looking curved blade of electricity sprouted from the top.

Zaier looked at the glowing yellow symbol on his right hand. A frightening smile appeared on his face, and he began to laugh maniacally.

He pushed a button on his desk, and ten mechanical monsters sprung to life, their gears grinding, engines whirring. The emotionless looks on their faces matched their heartless methods

"Let this game of Cat and Mouse begin!"

okay, we've worked it out. i am now thunder, cuz he's not posting at all




Saio makes his grand entrance, his clothes changing to resemble the anchient flowing garments of the past, thanks to a tattoo on his back. His eyes hold only an empty darkness. Saio moves with elegence, and swift reproach. A purple earring, glinting in the light, supresses Saio's actuall self. In truth, The boy once known as Saio Marquise was no longer housed with in that body.

"Stranger! We'e no qualm against you! Leave here!"

Saio pulls out his sword, its dark glint forcing the others to realize just what he was. "The child of thunder....." one of them gasps.

Saioi attacks, his blindingly fast slashes and vicious clawing catching them all off guard. Saio manages to cut several, before he is thrown into a wall. Yet, this child is no longer able to reconize pain as a sensation. There is a sickening [I]CRACK[/I] as Saio's arm breaks.

"what manner of being are you?"

Saio only comes at them again, and again, even more deadly than before. But one has wisened to Saio, and clips the earring. Saio falters, and tears appear in his eyes. He falls to the ground, "Kill ........... me..........Free........ me......."

[I]Kill them all......[/I] Saio's body begins to respond to the calling of his master.[I]Do it! Do it now![/I]

"Please......" Saio begins taking his sword from the ground. "Kill me.....I don't..... want to .... exist like this....I can't.... I can't.... resist it.... I can't stop...." Saio's master grows frustrated with him. [I]Return to me. I shall have to fix your condition.......[/I]

"No!!!" Saio screams. "Help me!!! Don't let him Take me!!!!! " Saio scream echos into the dark as black mist sweeps him away. "HELP MEEEEEEE!!!!"

[Who Am I?]

Mint had sat down thinking about this. She was really confused.

She looked really doubtful but kept a straight face. She feed her pet and continued to think.

Drecht sat on his homemade throne of shadow deep in the secret reaches of the world of shade. His mind on the encounter between the other warriors and his least demons. Frowning he stared into space.

Drecht: They shouldn't have been able to destroy those demons so easily. Perhaps next time I should kick up their strenght a couple of levels. That should really endanger them. I don't want to convert them until they are strong enough to protect themselves against themselves or others. Isn't that right midnight?

Talking to a huge whispy looking dragon that is wrapped aroudn his throne. He gives a chuckle as he tosses a human head at the dragon who quickly snaps it up and chomps it down.

Saio stood before his master, agnger eminating from all around him. Saio's emotions were surfacing, and his earring was letting out little bursts of steam and cracking even more.

"You are quite a willful child.....I must put that to use....."

"Damn you......" Saio manages. "What more can you take from me? You've destroyed my life, and wrecked my family. You force me to serve you..." Saio coughs up blood, his arm was feeling like burning coals. /hew spits at his master, a cocky smile on his face.


SLAP!!!!!! Saio reels, his head nearly knocked off. [I]"You dare to treat your master thus? You will learn pentenance! Incountanant fool! I am all that is now, to you![/I]

"Bastard...." Saio smirks again."Kill me, if you dare. I'd welcome it."

Saio's master snaps his fingers, and Saio's arm is perfectly normal again. Saio is shocked, when his Master embraces him. "Ah... but you are my little dollie...... my perfect servant... my favorite......"

"Get....off.....of.....me...." Saio manages to seize his sword, and tries to attack, but saio is sudenly paralyzed. Saio's eyes are wide, he can't even speak.

"Mortals..... such fools. Like i could ever be taken down by the likes of you." Saio's eyes glare, an angerd flicker appearing in them. There is power there, power unable to take root. Saio's earring finally falls off, and He whirls on his Master. "I hate you!!!! I want my life back!"

"NO!!!! I WON'T-" [I]WHAP![/I] Saio is hit, and he flies into a wall. "I do this out of love...." his master taunts. What's scary is that Saio beleives he means it.

"I really must be able to put you in your place... and use all that raw power....."

"Anyone interested in getting some tea?" Kahlan asked amoungst them."That's where I'm headed if you want me."

He walked off all on his own and got himself a tabe, but it was one with enough seats for at least four more people. At that point he didn't think anyone had followed him. He didn't realize that he wasn't alone until he took his first sip of tea.

"What the..." He looked under the tabe to see Reg tugging at his pants. "What do you want this time?" The dog looked at him with eyes that begged. "Alright I'll get you something, but if you get fat or something I'm not going to even listen to that girl complain." He ordered the dog a saucer of milk that it seemed to enjoy. "Well at least you are a well trained dog."

Someone sat across from him. He looked up from petting the pooch to see it's owner again. She seemed very happy. Something that Kahlan hadn't been in a long time. "Is he bothering you again?"

"I don't mind this time." Kahlan replied.
