[B]Mint followed Kahlan and got some tea as well.[/B]

"Not at all," ha replied.

[B]Mint sat down and fed her pet and saw the dog.[/B]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Oh what a cute puppy!" [/COLOR]

[I]Kuro also walked in and sat down. He orders a cup of chai tea, a troubled look appears on his face[/I]

"Kuro are you ok?" Arni asked

"I'm fine... It's just odd how we all met.. It's odd because we all have symbols... I feel as if we all met once before.. It even felt like I have met that Drecht person before also." He pauses to take a sip of tea "What I am trying to say is somehow fate has brought us together for a reason."

[I]Kuro finishes his tea and walks outside[/I]

"Yeah fate." Kahlan sipped his tea as Kuro was leaving them. "If you believe in that sort of thing."

"You don't?" Mint asked.

"Well lets just say that my life hasn't been a really easy one. I've had too much happen in it that hurt me for fate to be something that I would think even came into the equation. Basically I've lost all hope in things happening for a reason." He continued to suck on the tea. "I don't mean to shoot down anyone's beliefs, but that's just the way I feel based on my life."

"What happened?" Arin asked.

"It's just a long sad tale. Maybe I'll tell you sometime, but we've got something else to deal with." A long pause went by. "Like first of all is this guy fixed?" He pointed to the dog with a bit of a grin. One that he had been missing for a long time.

Sorrow..... that is all Saio has known for years. His time, hie personal, biological time, has stopped. An armlet prohibits him from aging, and has for ten years.


Saio is in a cylindrical room, surrounded by empty walls and bare floors. His only item, a forsaken, bloody teddy bear, is his only comfort, and it brings none today.


"Why.... i am so alone.... why did he choose me?"


Saio suddenly feels himself being jerked away, and he holds his teddybear tight.

"You are mine..... and now you retain personality as you work......"

A metal string winds itself around Saio's forearm before he can react. He tries in vain to get it off, tearing his flesh as he does. His arm hung limply, and his master laughs. "Once you are under my control again, i shall heal you."

Saio screams profane and insulting words. But, Saio's master laughs, and snapps his fingers. A dark energy crackles, and Saio screams in agony.


Soon enough, Saio rights himself, pops his neck, and pulls on his arm. It cracks, and he narows his eyes,. "Master, I beleive i have buisness to handle?"

"Go. Do not disappoint me.Taunt them, hurt them. Give them a warning."

"Yes, master."





Saio appears before the building where three of his master's enemies were. He knew not how he himself knew they were there.


They were talking, and Saio smiles cruely. Raisine his sword, dark lightning comes crashing down from the heavens, now dark and stormy. The building's roof is blown apart, and the glass in the front window shatters into a thousand peices.


"Hi." Saio says, wnen they see him. "Miss me?" Saio's base personality is hardly one at all. His sword shines, and he attacks once more. But, they ae on guard this time.


He shifts his attack style, now trying to kill the weaker two, yet fending off the strongest.

Yet, finally, after a minute, he catches one of the girls off.


"NO! MINT!!" Saio slaches, and inflicts a deep cut on her, across her chest. It's potent, she won't die, but she wil be taken out for awhil while she heals.

Saio leaps away, and he is splattered with her blood. He seems off, like he's not sure what to think. "I've... harmed an innocent....."

OCC: YES! I am back! For the moment. I've been absant for a LONG time because of some comp problems than me and my mom are moving due to some family trouble at the house(Bad situation that I am glad to be out of) And we're going to West verginia, but I'm back for the moment and I'm glad that we kept this one going, kinda so lets try and do it some more. I may be gone again for some time but I WILL return. Promise.


Arin looked at him and shook her head.
"Yes, he's fixed...you should smile more, you look better that way."
She smiled at him and blinked as he frowned slightly. She patted Reg who seemed to really like Kalahn.
"He really likes you for some odd reason."
She looked at him and shook her head, he was frigid and cold but she could see that somewhere he used to be nice...
"So what exactly happened to make you like you are?"
"Why do you care?"
"Because if we're travleing together than I'd like to know if you have any...'issues' if you catch my drift."
"I do not have any kind of disease."
"I did not say that now did I?"
"No, but I saw where that was leading."
Arin giggled and shook her head again.
"What makes you like you are?"
She looked at him, her eyes hard as ice and cold with no emotion.\
MY mother was killed by something...nad I want to find out what...my father raised me the best he could and I want to pay him back by becoming the best I can be."
She looked at the table her cheeks flushed and her hands clasped tight around the charm on her right bracelet.

oooooo yay!!! i was wondering if this one had died....







Saio smiles, and vanishes, his voice ringing out. "I only warn you now.... Cease this now, or die."


Saio appears before his master, ands is suddenly clutching his head. "Ow.... must....serve...." Saio screams, and the metal shatters.

"Well, apparently, that was not powerful enough... i must fix that... sad that you can't have a personality then....

"I'm sorry to hear such a sad story." Kahlan appologized to Arin. "I wish I could share with you everything about me, but it's too much of a risk."

"A risk?" Arin questioned.

"It's hard to explain. I know you've got to hate me for being so vauge, but lets just say I don't have many friends in the world right now." He sighed. "Sorry." He pet Reg on the head again. "You know I really don't understand why you or your dog take such an interest in me. It's odd you know. I'll tell you what though, I kind of like the attention. I'll always be here if you need me."

"What?"

"Like a friend." Kahlan smiled and even considered that maybe it wouldn't be too much of a risk to tell her his name, but he held off. He still wasn't sure. He then flipped a coin onto the table. "Those are on me."
