Do you fight for glory, honor, money, power; or simply for the pleasure of the kill...what set of moral principles and devotions do you follow in your walk...what is your disicpline. These are the things that must be learned in order to become a master of the blade; to defeat your counterparts. [/SIZE] [/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1]Before I continue, I want to mention that ones writing abilities will determine if you are accepted into the tournament. Yes, a tournament...not a singel elimination nor a bracket format...no no...but by record. After everyone has posted a profile, you may challenge anyone of your choosing. Once all profiles have been submitted and confirmed, your name will be placed on a list in the Underground for those who are able to be challenged. I will monitor and regulate the list while you all will make your challenges to one another in the underground. Anyone can withdraw or enther their name from the list at any time for any reason.

You may either accept or decline a challenge by another rpg'r...and their are no rules in these fights. Any blade of your choosing will be allowed...any environmental setting acceptable. You may even arrange two vs. two battles, battle royals, or even one vs. two if you're up for it. However, the goal of the challenges are not to kill the other...unless you would like to raise the stakes with one another...saying whomever the loser is...will have to take out their name from the list permanently. But to test each others fighting/writing abilities against one another. Once a fight is agreed upon by the combatants...I will lock their names in the underground till the battle ends so that they may be challenged again.

Once a challenge is arranged, those involved in the battle will post their own thread in the Adventure Square where they will post their fight amongst one another.

The winners will be determined by a voting system. Once the combatants stop the fight...me, and select members of my choice (The Blade Gods) will read the battle whom I believe will not have any bias in the readings (these Gods will change due to my discretion, everyone will have a chance to read and vote)...and determine who the victor is. The fighters will be able to vote as well if they felt that they were the winner...or losers (hopefully in that you'd be honest) unless one gives up of course..then they automatically loss. Once the battle is over, and the votes tallied, I will PM the winner and put up their winning/lossing/tie record up on the underground. Where both fighteres will be able to challenge another individual.

Once profiles are posted...and the underground is opened...all this information will be found on my first post which I will be constantly editing due to changed in idle fighers, ranks, records etc. etc. Everything below that will be you all challenging one another. This I hope will attract and involve a vast amount of OB users to participate in spars....and becoming interested in their writing capabilities...striving to become better so that their record relfects their work.

As for the profiles...you may take up on this idea or not; but try and use your OB names:) You may have a grudge against another OB'r, or you want to fight a friend...or simply to have fun...but I think this would be more enjoyable if we used our OB names. As I, Kairi...challenge all of you! And if your name isn't a usable one...then of course I'd understand...but most I know will be able to use their own.

He uses his robes to fool his opponent into stabbing nothing more than empty clothe. His legs are the longest part of his body, allowing him to perform great leaps and strides in the air, aswell as being secondary weapons when using his spear.

[B]Fighting Style:[/B] Uses a flamboyant and precise spear style which not only uses the blade in stabbing, slashing, and swooping motions, but also utilizes the shaft in wide range spinning attacks. His use of Chi allows inhuman feats of power and agility, aswell as a near human-like bond with his weapon. He uses his surroundings in any way he possibly can as a weapon or defensive item. Aswell as being a legendary spearmen, he has expert Wu Shu training and can at any time utilize his legs as lethal weapons while still using his spear, or can go into a full empty-hand combat system, which is nearly as perfect as his spear-style. This is why he is one of the most reknowned assassins in his kingdom.

[B]Weapons:[/B] His spear is called the "Silver Sky", because of its white horse-hair tip and head of sharpened silver. The shaft of the spear is extremely flexible, but only when force is applied correctly to it, as the weilder can. (Its in the picture above.)

[B]Skills:[/B] As well as being a master of the spear, ReFlux is also a master of Zhou Wu style gung fu, and is also master of his bodies chi, enabling him to perform many inhuman feats, such as floating through the air like a leaf drifting in the wind, and taking control of his spear, even without his body touching it. It is said that his ultimate technique projects his chi from without his body into a crushing force.

Preferring to attack from close range, he quickly penetrates a foe?s guard and moves in for a quick kill. He will readily sacrifice a weapon or physical comfort to win a duel. Musashi, being a poet, is an abstract thinker, attacking in irrational patterns, with motions that are completely unconventional and never-before-seen. His opponents have no idea what to expect from him, aside from a fluid, adapting attack, but he is always one step ahead, predicting their next move.

Kairi has long silver/white hair with bold red eyes with his left being completely scarred over. Wearing basic white pants with a black belt wrapped around his waist, he typically wears no shoes weilding his blades at his sides.

Occupation: Wanderer

Body: Kairi's body is completely covered in scars which looks tough, obviously from all the battles that he's been in. Very muscle toned, his body isn't very big, giving him both strength and endurance.

Fighting Style:
His movements are swift and percise with a tremendous force behind his attacks; not relying on complex combos. He truly becomes in his element once engaged in a fight...completely focusing his energy and thoughts into the moment. Having trained in both swordsmanship and martial arts, Kairi's form is unflinching.

Weapons: Duel Scimitars (see attachment)

Skill: Due to the toughness of his body through so many battles, he can take a lot of punishment. His senses are also hightened due to his concentration. [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

Body: Lean and muscular, while his clothing denotes to a somewhat slim body, it does hide the lean endurance muscles he has honed since the age he could walk. He is about 5'8 in stature, and weighs in at a clean 165.

Fighting Style: Chaotically precise. His life philosophy believes in winning, no matter what, meaning that he is willing to use any method necessary (as long as it is with a sword and on the battlefiled). He is a master of the Chinese iajitsu form, making his sword draw among the fastest.

His culture and life philosophy demands that he die in glory, and to do so, he must give all he can to every battle. He has traveled the world, and picked up various different martial arts, combining them to make his own unique style. Has a good understanding of herbs, and carries a small puch with crushed herbs to heal wounds. During battle, his battlecry of "Modi" often gives him great focus, allowing him to shrug off the immediate pain of wounds, and fighting through it. His mastery of the iajitsu form has also increased his sword weilding speed immensely, allowing him at times to even deflect objects that come flying at him.

Occupation: Cold-Blooded Killer, dabbling in terrorism, assassination, and theft.

Body: As you can see, thanks to his penchent for tight leather, Xion is a lean, muscular man with almost unnaturally long limbs. Though few have seen virtually any of his skin, those who have are graced with the sight of multiple tattoos and scars (as seen in the second pic...sort of).

Fighting Style: Years of near-constant fighting, coupled with training in his youth, have left Xion an exceptional swordsman. And not only is he deadly with the sword, but he has picked up bits and pieces of various martial arts along his travels, adding elements of them to his own, personal style. This leads him to fight in a fluid, unpredictable, and unrestrained manner, a much more bloodchilling precursor to Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do.

In battle, Xion is like a demon, cutting down foes with no remorse or mercy. He lives for the adrenaline and the blood, leaving hundreds of corpses in his wake. He never stops fighting until his opponent is dead in the street. There is even a story of him fighting three men while nursing a broken arm, just because they spilled his drink. While this is no doubt an exaggeration or a falsehood, it shows his reckless determination and cold-blooded nature quite well.

However, Xion is not just a psychotic killer. He uses the wild-demon facade to belie a sinister cunning. His brilliant mind is never clouded by rage or blood-lust, though he gives every indication that it is. Instead, he uses this devious trick to lead his opponents into a false sense of security, playing up the illusion while constantly thinking five moves ahead.

Weapons: Xion's favored weapon is a katana that he wields with deadly efficiency. The blade is usually bared at his side, covered by the crimson, laquered saya. It's a beautiful weapon, and he claims that it is at its most beautiful when drenched in human blood. And though the katana is by far his preferred weapon, he is not opposed to using others. He tends to carry around a few kunai (throwing knives) and has even been known to use clawed gloves.

Skill: Aside from his unpredictable, deadly, self-made fighting style, Xion is a complete and utter sadist; he is cruel, merciless, and finds no greater pleasure than watching blood flow - even his own. His reckless bloodlust leaves him ruthless, fearless, and borderline insane.

[B]Body:[/B] Gabriel does not look like the strongest of fighters, but what he lacks in muscle, he makes up with in speed and sheer power. He is one of the fastest known fighters and can outrun a cheetah. He has strong arms for using his weapon as well as strong legs for running. He looks slim, but not skinny, with a toned chest and stomach. He would be described as effeminate, usually wearing white robes or a white suit.

[B]Fighting Style:[/B] Gabriel is more of a defensive than an offensive fighter and always lets his opponent make the first move. Either by waiting them out, or taunting, he will never strike first but he also never uses a counter on the first blow, preferring to watch the others move rather than fight back. He is known to draw fights out, dodging and blocking for hours until he feels he has observed enough to fight back. It may take a long time for him to beat down an opponent, but with the way he wields his staff he almost always defeats the foe after a few blows. As well as his staff, Gabriel knows enough about martial arts to hold his own without any weapon at all.

[B]Weapons:[/B] A long staff (approx. 6 ft.) with a sphere on the end topped by a sharp cross, which reaches out 5 inches. (see attachment)

[B]Skills:[/B] As mentioned before, Gabriel is fast and knows [I]when[/I] and [I]how[/I] to use that speed. He is not afraid to back down from a fight and he never gets angry, that is probably his most prominent personality quirk. In a fight he keeps a cool head, which enables him to make the right decisions. He prefers to spill as little blood as possible, always aiming for the sensitive areas on a foe. He is quick thinking and has a sharp tongue, able to anger (or seduce) even the most stubborn of opponents.

Seiryuu's [URL=http://naimoka.com/image.php3?image=arts2/nomura/ff7/arts/t-sephi.jpg]hair is black, longer and flows down to his lower back[/URL], and bangs fall over his face, covering his eyes. He's never cut his hair, he only trims it. Seiryuu wears a chain with a miniature sword around the end of it, and gloves that cut off at his knuckles. He also wears three rings on his right hand, one with a dragon's head and one with a wolf's head.

[B]Body:[/B] Seiryuu's tall, slim, and leanly muscular. He's quick and agile, as he needs to be able to quickly attack his enemies. His years of training with a blade, and other training he as obviously gone though unbeknowst to him, have greatly toned his body. The kanji for dragon is tattoed on his chest. His arms and legs are relatively long, allowing him for long range attacks.

[B]Fighting Style:[/B] Since he has "awoken", he's trained under one of the greatest swordsman in the land, and has grown into a well-rounded warrior. He's also quite the fist-fighter, though he doesn't recall why. He's quite dangerous in battle, with or without his blade. He's also quite the strategist, and can analyze his battles quite carefully, turning the tide of battle to his favor.

[B]Skill:[/B] He treasures his speed as one of his greatest weapons, which is only rivaled by his masterfully crafty intellect. Combing these two together, he has made himself a weapon. Great manuverability and dexterity, along with the ability to recoperate from an attack and skillfully counterattack makes him a worthy opponent. It's rumored that he is unable to show emotion, and that he shows no mercy in battle. That's untrue, but though he constantly shows mercy his opponents are quite ignorant, and prefer to invite death.

[B]Body[/B]: (Mostly represented in the picture) Kakashi is a small man with not much of a physical stature. He wears a mask over his face concealing his identity. He has brown hair and an unknown color of eyes. He wears a jacket and vest showing no visible weapons.

[B]Fighting Style[/B]: Kakashi grew up in a freelance sect started by his father. The sect was never partial to one kingdom or another and did what they chose. They helped whoever decided to benefit them the most. Kakashi grew up fighting, but not the way his father wanted him too. His father used a large halbard spear and expected his son to do the same, his son however took an interests in smaller blades. One blade in particular that was quite short. His father laughed at him as he swung his spear mercilessly in battle.

Kakashi always sparred with his father and had to fight extra hard to compensate for the size of his weapon. However, over time he learned to overcome brute strength and use it to his advantage. He focused on speed and percision rather then just swinging a large weapon. The last spar ended with his father lying dead on the ground, Kakashi's small blade lie petruding from his chest. When the members of the sect found out about this he was exiled, never to return again. Since then he wanders aimlessly doing what he chooses, when he chooses.

Fighting style:[/B] Dante was trained in the art of combat by his father, who trained him in the art of the sword. dante is proficient with many types of sword, rainging from the masterful samurai sword of Japan, to the hulking broadsword of the west. having lived his life in seclusion, Dante has had ample time to perfect his art. Dante constantly battled his father, who wielded a sacred blade with outstanding power and keen edge . No matter how proficient with a blade Dante got, his father always could beat him. untill one fluke accident when Dante tripped and threw his blade in a fight, catching his father off guard. Ever since, dante has practiced and trained with throwing knives. When he completed his training with his father, he was gifted with one of his father's most prized swords: an extra-weighted Katana, capable of cleaving rocks in two. Since then, he has wandered the land, his deeds and presence are a mystery.

Some say that he has the ability to more easily blend in with shadow than normal men, and some even chalk this up to Devil blood.

[COLOR=Red]Name: Albel the Wicked

Age: 26

Place of Origin: Albel originated from Japan and has never left it's sacred islands.

Occupation: Sword for Hire

Body: Albel is slim, but still isn't a scrawny man. He is muscular and has strong legs. Simply put, is that he is a very fit guy.

Fighting Style: Albel's strategy is trying to dodge his opponents blows until they have little energy left, which then he'll overpower his enemy. If that strategy doesn't work, then Albel relys on his speed to run near the enemy and slice them before they can counterattack.

Weapons: Albel loves his katana. (Sword is in picture) He has never gone into a fight without it and never plans on losing it.

Skill: The Kishuma technique. It is a furious technique that costs Albel most of his energy and fatigue, but has not failed even to this very day. It starts out with three horizontal slices in three different areas that are mixed every time. It will strike at the torso area, leg area, and head area. After that, Albel will do a vertical slice, diagnal slice, two more horizontal slices, three vertical slices, then an upper vertical slice and finished with a stab. Each attack is consistant, to make sure that his opponent won't attack in the technique. It has been recorded that at least 50% of the hits always land every time.
