Anime Loveless [BL]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid][SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Well... I know that this Loveless thread is really old, but I didn't want to make a new one, so I looked around and huzzah! I finally found a thread dealing with the anime show that I completely adore.

I've just got around to Loveless, as how I found out about it from my friend. She said it was an anime show that I just had to see. So, low and behold, on a night when I was really bored, I wanted to check it out. Going to youtube.com, I typed it in and watched the first episode. After seeing it, well... it made me so addicted to the show and I'm a total fangirl over it. XD

I'm up to episode five right now and I haven't stopped loving it. The story's plot is.... really special (>.>; ), the artwork is amazing and the voices are beautiful. I especially love the parts where [spoiler]Soubi always take advantage of Ritsuka.[/spoiler] I mean, I fell sorry for Ritsuka, really, but.... Soubi is just that type of guy where he takes advantage of him. XD

Anywho, this show is really awesome and I love it. Heck, I've gone fangirlish over just the first episode. n.n;[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Navy]i happen to love loveless! my screename for the otaku site is lovelessfan90. :catgirl: I haven't had the privilage of reading the manga yet because unfrotunetly they don't sell it anywhere near me :animeangr but the i have watched the anime and it's great i watched in it's orginal japanese and it was awesome. I hope that they bring onto adult swim but i don't think it'll happen anytime soon.[/COLOR] :animecry:

[COLOR=DarkOrchid][SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Eh heh heh.... I don't think you should be expecting a show like Loveless or any shounen ai show to come on american T.V. Unless you have anime network or some sort of special channel, you're better off either downloading the episodes or even buying the DVD's. Japanese television is way more different from American because they allow certian things that..uhm, well... America doesn't. >.>;

Anyways, yeah... I haven't been able to read the manga, too, but the show is still awesome anyways. Although, I have to say that the fighting scenes depress me... >.<; I mean, the battles are pretty neat, but... they always go by so fast! Like, when that one time when [spoiler]Soubi was fighting against Kin-chan (lol) and that girl,[/spoiler] that only took like, what, three minutes? Nontheless, I would think that it's more associated around Soubi and Ritsuka's "relationship" rather than the fighting, which makes it okay, too. XD

Amongst all the episodes I've seen, I would have to say when [spoiler]Soubi made Ritsuka pierce his ears[/spoiler] is my favorite part. I don't know why, but I was like HOMG! the whole time. >w< Wondering is anything.... shmexy would happen.. >.>

By the way.... Yaoi-kun is freaking hilarious!! XD I totally love the way he outbursts out of nowhere! Got to love him.. XD[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

does any one know if it's been announced whether there will or will not be a second series, or is it still pure speculation? I mean the last ep definitely set it up for a second series. ANyway I have a friend who's collecting the manga as it's released here.

Sad to hear that there is no word on if there is going to be another season. It is frustrating not knowing but it at least gives me something to look forward to. Episode 12 left me feeling as if I was left on a cliff's edge and begging for me.
I love the characters and how there is depth in their personalities. Particularly with how Ristuka's and Soubi's experiance with others (mainly adults) due reflect on how they associate with others.
The story is very seductive in that it keeps teasing you with the mystery of the past and what is going on. It was because of the first episode I saw that came out in March (newtype) that got me hooked on Loveless and wanting to see more.

Nevermind about the previous question. It turns out that there are 6 DVDs to the series. I just don't know when they will come out. At least it isn't a matter of if there is a continuation anymore. :catgirl:

The R1 release is three DVDs in length and has been completed. The R2 (Japanese) release is six DVDs in length and has also been completed, but it doesn't have more episodes--just fewer episodes per disc.

As for a second season, it gets more unlikely day by day, as far as I'm concerned. I still have vague hopes in the back of my head (maybe they're waiting for the manga to get really far ahead; maybe they'll put out OVAs or something), but I can't be bothered to get too worked up about it anymore, unfortunately.

Loveless Anime DVD's top my amazon.com wish list, cause I love the manga, but haven't gotten the chance to see the anime. Does anyone know if there's a place to get it online? (sorry if this question has already been answered in this thread, It's 5:45 am and I haven't slept yet)
