RPG Pokemon Full Revolution vol. 1 [rated L and V]

Karia followed him, eyeing him quite suspiciously, trying to find an opening in which she could re-obtain her sketchpad.

"You're not getting it back." Jared kept walking without looking back at her. "You have to work with your pokemon, not obsses over mine."

"Hey... How did you...?" Karia started, but Jared interupted her.

"You ready to battle?"

"Of course I am!" Karia was all smiles again and started off at almost a jog towards
Scott. "Hey, where'd the others go? Erm... Well, do YOU want to battle me at least?""

He turned his head in Karia'd direction and then turned away. "I'm not wasting my time on some little girl." and started walking back towards the town. Karia kept following him. He was fast, even just walking, but Scott just ignored her. They eventually came to the town and caught a glance of Rorohiko and Tsuka.

"Stop following me." Scott sounded annoyed. Karia just pestered him some more. "Get the hell away from me!"

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"You know, it's not nice to call talk down to people." [/COLOR] A petite young woman in a Team Rocket uniform landed behind them with a Scizor. This girl's hair was orange at the roots and faded to a bight green at the tips...

Rorohiko recognised this person. [COLOR=Black]"Katai, what the hell are you doing here?"[/COLOR]

((OOC: Her name is Katai. She was my character in Dragonair's Orb. There was a Her and Rorohiko didn't exactly get along, and they didn't travel together. Katai joined Team Rocket back in that RPG, and she never quit it. I have already gotten permission to bring her back for a certain reason, and only for a few posts. I didn't realize how much I missed her! Maybe I just should have carried her on... Anyway, since Karia and Katai are so close in spelling and speech patterns, I will change the colors of thier quotes.))

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Long time no see, Rorohiko."[/COLOR] The girl walked up to him. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"Wow, it's been awhile, hasn't it? You know, Carter's a Pokemon contest judge now."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Black]"I don't happen to care,"[/COLOR] Rorohiko replied. [COLOR=Black]"Why the hell are you still with Team Rocket? Surely you know better."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Aw, but the uniform is so cute! Anyway, that's not why I'm here. I have a mission from Team Rocket."[/COLOR]

"Alright... I'm officially confused." Karia blinked and looked from Rorohiko to Katai to Scott.

[COLOR=Black]"Um... this is Katai," [/COLOR] Rorohiko said. [COLOR=Black]"She and I met two years ago. I have no clue what the hell she's doing here."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Thanks for the intro, Rorohiko!"[/COLOR] Katai smiled and blinked her huge green eyes.[COLOR=DarkOrange] "You know, we should have a battle... For old time's sake, think?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Black]"Hmm. Why not?" [/COLOR] the frown on his face turned to a slight grin.

"Aw... I wanna battle..." Karai hung her head and walked back towards Jared, who was a few yards away.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Yay!"[/COLOR] Katai jumped for joy as Rorohiko reaced for a pokeball.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

"You got lucky today," Katai said as Rorohiko threw his Pokeball, releasing Absol. "I only brought two Pokemon with me. You might actually almost win."

"If you only have two, this won't be difficult at all," Rorohiko replied.

"You won't win, Rorohiko. One disadvantage of using only a single Pokemon is that it's easy to know what to expect."

[i]You've never actually seen me battle, though, have you?[/i] Rorohiko thought. [i]I think you'll be surprised a few times.[/i] "Let's just get on with it," he said. "Choose your first Pokemon."

"I already know who I'm going to start with. Go, Scizor!"

"Let's make this quick, Absol," Rorohiko said. "Hit it with Fire Blast!"

Scizor flew over the attack, then moved in and attacked with Slash. Absol dodged and used Slash himself. Scizor dodged, then moved back and used Double Team.

"That won't help," Rorohiko said. "Absol, Shock Wave!"

Absol's Shock Wave attack revealed which images of Scizor were fake, as it was a wide-area attack. It passed through the fakes. The real Scizor was hit, and therefore revealed as real. It flew at Absol again, attacking with Slash just like before. this time, Absol took the hit, then spun quickly and hit Scizor with Fire Blast before it could escape. And Scizor was very weak against fire. It went down.

"Prety good," Katai said as she returned the fainted Scizor. "of course, I'm not done yet!"

"Just send out your other Pokemon, and let's get this over with."

[CENTER][COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]((OOC: Gotcha. I love battles ^^))

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Golduck!"[/COLOR] Katai released her next pokemon.

[COLOR=Black]"Just because Absol used fire attacks doesn't mean it's a fire type. You won't get anywhere with that Golduck."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Really? Observe."[/COLOR] Katai nodded her head and Golduck sent a Hydro Pump in Absol's direction. It was fast, faster than many a strong pokemon's fastest attacks, but not faster than Absol.

[COLOR=Black]"You can't win a battle of speed with Absol. Slash."[/COLOR] Absol jumped at Golduck, who dodged the first attack but Absol tracked it's dodge and landed a hard hit.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"I'm not through yet. I still haven't played my ace."[/COLOR] Golduck readied itself for a Hyper Beam.

[COLOR=Black]"I already told you, you can't win, you're too slow."[/COLOR] Absol was quick, it used a headbutt to distract Golduck from using it's attack. This time, Absol was fast. But not fast enough. Once Absol made contact with Golduck, Golduck grabbed onto Absol and used a Seismic Toss. Katai and Rorohiko then heard a few more bangs and scatches, but could not see thier pokemon through the dust. Each trainer was confident thier's would emerge victorious.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Golduck..." [/COLOR] Katai whispered so noone else could hear. The silence went on a good minute, and the dust settled. Both pokemon were standing... But barely. Golduck was on one knee holding itself up with it's hand and Absol, who looked a little better off, was shaking slightly. Both were battered, but neither looked as bad as the ground they stood on. There was a large hole in a boulder embedded in the ground that was apparently where Absol had landed after Seismic Toss, and the rest of the ground around them was torn and battered, all the grass ripped up.

[COLOR=Black]"Hmm... I suppose we should call it..." [/COLOR] Rorohiko started to speak but was interupted by thier pokemon. Absol and Golduck got fully to thier feet and took a step towards each other, each with looks of pure venom in thier eyes. Bleeding and bruised, Golduck just smiled and fell to the ground. Absol was the winner.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Golduck! Are you alright?!"[/COLOR] Both trainers ran to thier pokemon. Katai tended to both Golduck and Scizor rather quickly, being a pokemon nurse and all, and approached Rorohiko. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"You were awesome. I've never really watched you battle your hardest, you're amazing." [/COLOR] She kneeled down beside him as he applied potion to his Absol.

[COLOR=Black]"...Thanks. You weren't too bad yourself."[/COLOR] Rorohiko said.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"And you, Absol, you are just the best! None of my pokemon have ever really lost before... You rock!" [/COLOR] Katai petted Absol under the chin. It seemed quite content. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"Um... Would you mind if I help you? I have some bandages... And this stuff heals really fast and doesn't sting at all..." [/COLOR] Katai mumbled as she rummaged through her first aid kit.

He paused a moment. [COLOR=Black]"Sure."[/COLOR] Rorohiko nodded slightly.

"Wow... That was so cool!" Karia looked all googly-eyed at the Rorhiko and Katai.

[I]Hmmm... They really are as good as they said. They'd be a real challenge...[/I] Jared smiled slightly. [I]Maybe I should go with them for a little while... And maybe challenge them to a battle.[/I] Just the thought was enough to excite him. Someone who might actually take some time to beat.

"Earth to Jared... Are you still in there?" Karia waved her hand in front of his face.

"Hmm?" Jared snapped out of it and looked at Karia. "Aren't you going to challenge the newbies? I thought we had a deal, kid."

"Hmm... I guess you're right. She walked up to Tsuka and Scott. "I don't want to battle you anymore. I know I'd win anyway. But how 'bout you?" Karia pointed at Tsuka. "What's your name?"[/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

[Wavemaster Tsuka]

"Might I ask you the same, if you're so tough?" Tsuka replied confidently, "It's rude to ask another's name without introducing yourself."

"Just quit your 'rude' act. I'm Karia"

"I'm Tsuka. Nice meeting you, I guess." Tsuka wasn't sure whether to be happy to meet her or not, but he just pretended to be a little bit of both.

"Well, ready to battle?" Karia reached for her Pokeball containing Plum.

[I]What's her deal with battling?[/I] Scott thought to himself. [i]If Tsuka knows what's good for him, he'll decline...[/i]

Tsuka grinned.[i] A battle with another trainer? Sounds... perfect.[/i]

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Tsuka replied as he reached for the first Pokeball on his belt.

NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!!!!! i will be your oppenent this time
Tsuka: *gasp*
TwoMoons: thats right and you know the rules to a pokemon battle dont you?
Tsuka: *nods*
TwoMoons: well get ready because here I COME!!!
*grabs pokeball from under her dress*

Work takes up just 'bout all of that nowadays >.< Oh, and I'm supposing that TwoMoons' post didn't actually happen since Tsuka doesn't have an Alakazam *Karia hopes* Oh, I'm not going to be able to finish the battle I don't think... *Ignores eclips... Erm, I mean Brookline knocking at door*))

"There's one catch, though, since you're a newbie." Karia flipped her bangs out of her face *Her hat lies discarded in Viridian Forest... She never did pick it up*

"Catch? For me, or for you?" Tsuka tilted his head slightly, hand still on Bulbasaur's pokeball.

"For me, I suppose. It will be a 2-on-1 battle. Your pokemon can work together as much as they feel, but Plum won't move an inch. Anything less and I'd feel bad beating you." She set Plum down on the ground at her feet. "This should be quick enough, Plum. You'll be fine."

That made Tsuka mad. She didn't have to make him feel like a nobody. "I don't need a handicap. One-on-one, that's even, we'll see who wins."

"Don't you listen? I need to battle you this way." Karia shot a half-glance over her shoulder at Jared, who hadn't said a word in quite a while. That wasn't like him.

[I]Don't I listen?! Don't YOU listen?[/I] Tsuka thought to himself, but he just shook his head. "Do what you want, I'm going all out, you're going to be sorry." He released Bulbasaur from it's ball.

*sigh* "Fine then. Go Plum, you know the deal. We gotta win this." The green Venonat bounded happily onto the field. "You can still use both of your pokemon, if you so wish."

"I'm fine, you worry about yourself!" Tsuka kept a calm voice, but raised it a bit as he backed up to make the space between him and Karia bigger. A bigger field makes for a better fight.

Both pokemon took up places on the field and redied themselves. "Aren't you going to make the first move?" Karia said somewhat slowly, trying to buy time for herself to formulate an elaborate strategy... Or any strategy at all!

"Ladies first... Karia, is it?" Both pokemon held thier ground and didn't move an inch.

"I'm not moving. I can't." Karia didn't know how she would win. Powders weren't very effective on Bulbasaur... Plum was only good at sneaking up and using her speed... She didn't know how she'd win this one... Plum had little-to-no defense at all. This would be tough.

"Alright. Bulbasaur, Tackle!" Tsuka yelled.

"Plum, use Spikes!" Karia thought fast and Bulbasaur's attack did more to itself than Plum... But Tsuka wouldn't fall for that again. She was going to have to do better than that.

[COLOR=Black]Edit:[/COLOR]

"Bulbasaur! Are you alright?" Tsuka cringed as his Bulbasaur impaled itself upon Plum's spikey fur.

"You can still use two pokemon if you want to." Karia said smugly, hoping immensely that he wouldn't.

"Nah, Bulbasaur's got it under control." Tsuka paused a moment and thought [I]I'm not gonna send out Pidgy... But it'll end up bad if I use any more close-range attacks... Better use something a little further away... But what does it know?[/I]

[I]Please let him be dumb and keep tackling.[/I] Karia whispered. [I]Please say he's just some idiot who doesn't know anything.[/I]

Tsuka thought of something. "Bulbasaur, can you use a Vine Whip?" Bulbasaur looked back at him, slightly puzzled.

"...Bulba?"

"You can't? You don't know how to use a Vine Whip?" Tsuka asked, feeling slightly disappointed that he didn't even know his own pokemon's attacks. "Can you... Try?" Tsuka said without even thinking.

"Saur." Bulbasaur nodded and looked back at Plum.

"Alright Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur concentrated a moment and long vines shot out of it's bulb and toward Plum. It made contact. Plum wobbled a little, bit didn't move it's feet and inch. She did look slightly shakey, thoguh.

"Bulbasaur! Do it again, this works!"

"Grab the vines!" Karia cried "Don't let it hit you!" Plum wraped it's tiny arms around Bulbasaur's vines and swung it in a circle and let it hit the ground with a dull 'Thud'.

"Are you all right, Bulbasaur?" Tsuka took a step foreward, but didn't enter the field. The dust settled and Bulbasaur stood up, nearly fainted.

"I think that's enough. I really don't want to pick on you." Karia entered the field and picked up Plum. "It really would just be torture to both of our pokemon to go on. I resign." Karia looked at Jared. "As much as I want you as a tutor, it's not worth Plum getting hit again. She was defensless. I never want that to happen." Plum nestled against Karia's chest and closed her eyes. "I want her to trust me."

Tsuka was now standing beside Bulbasaur feeling slightly awkward... They were talking about him like he was some evil being or something, hurting some defensless pokemon... They seem to have forgotten who slammed WHO into the ground. "You did awesome, Bulbasaur. Your first real battle with a real trainer!"

Karia walked up to Jared and looked him in the eye, setting Plum down (A quite difficult feat, since Karia happens to be about 4 foot 4...) "I still want to be your student more than anything... Except the safety of my pokemon. That matters more, and always will. I need you to know that. Just sleep on it, okay?" Karia said all this quite fast, and bounded over to Tsuka before Jared hed a chance to respond.

"Erm... You battled really well. And Bulbasaur learned a new attack..." Tsuka returned Bulbasaur to it's pokeball.

Karia threw her arms around him in a great big hug. "Thank you so much!" Karia let go and smiled the biggest smile ever.

"For... What?" He asked, slightly shaken.

She just kept smiling at him. "You helped me realize what is most important. Thank you!"

"You're... Welcome?"[/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

Rorohiko didn't know what was going on between Karia and the other guy, but it was obvious that guy had instructed her to battle with an unsurmountable advantage. If the opportunity arose, Rorohiko would be more than willing to teach the guy a lesson. right now, however, there were more pressing concerns. Specifically, Katai was obviously there for a reason. But what was it?

Katai had caused some trouble for Rorohiko and a few others two years ago. She'd brought Team Rocket into an already complicated mess. Fortunately, Rorohiko had experiancedealing with people much more dangerous than the Rockets. Plus, although he had had difficulties with some of the group, he was still with a group. Plus, there had been Mizu, a young woman who'd traveled with him for a while. The others had all had reasons Rorohiko didn't feel he could trust them, but he had been able to trust Mizu. He would have liked to know whah she was up to.

Rorohiko returned himself to the present. there wasn't time to think about the past right now. The present demanded attention.

"So, what exactly do you want?" Rorohiko asked Katai. He didn't know how much of an explination he would get, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

[You Don't Care]

Jared said nothing, but turned away to look in the distance.

'[COLOR=Blue]I still want you to train me,[/COLOR]' her words echoed in his mind.

He began to chuckle and then laugh out loud, his hands on his hips and feet apart. "Omandaru, you have passed!" He turned around to see the expression on her face. It was shocked and happy at the same time.

"Do you understand the test that I have presented before you?" Jared smiled warmly. "Bravo! You have what it takes! I accept your request!" The boy was somewhat clueless to what was happening. Karia was crying tears of joy and smiled. "[COLOR=Blue]Thank you, Sir.[/COLOR]"

Suddenly a paper practice sword wacked her in the head. "Stupid! I said not to address me in that way. Just starting apprenticeship and already disobeying."

"[COLOR=Blue]I'm sorry. Then what shall I address you as?[/COLOR]" Karia asked while rubbing her head.

Jared ignored her question and turned to the new trainer, sword over his shoulder. "Congrats, kid. You have shown that you have what it takes to be real! I will remember you and keep track of your progress!" Jared stood over him and looked down with a sneer. "Don't dissapoint me." He walked away toward Viridian City. "Let's go, Omandaru."

[COLOR=Blue]"Yes."[/COLOR] She followed close behind, carrying Plum.

"Lesson Number One, sleep is for the weary. Do I look weary to you!?"

As the two dissapeared over the next hill, the boy stared in confusion. "Am I really that good?"

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Aw, why do ya have to bring that up?"[/COLOR] Katai stood up and looked at Rorohiko. She had the oddest look on her face...

[COLOR=Black]"You never were up to much good. Hell, you're the one who joined Team Rocket."[/COLOR] He stood up as well.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"I just don't want TR to go under again. Well, Rorohiko, you've become to nosy for your own good, but I will tell you this... For old times' sake." Katai stepped closer to him and whispered, "Do you see that boy over there?" [/COLOR] Katai nodded her head toward Scott, now sleeping under a cherry tree. Rorohiko nodded his head once in recegnition. "[COLOR=DarkOrange]There's something about him. Every time TR has lost anyhting in the past year it's been around that boy. He is surrounded by an evil aura."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Black]"Lost what, battles? You're meaning to have me believe that boy drains the aura out of pokemon?"[/COLOR] Rorohiko said sarcastically.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"You're still smart. Leaves me an easier job." [/COLOR] Katai leaned in and whispered in an aprehensive Rorohiko's ear [COLOR=DarkOrange]"He is a threat to not only TR, but any and every trainer... Even you. Watch out for him. Don't let him stray from your sight."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Black]"I'm not going to help you again. Do you remember how that turned out last time?"[/COLOR] Rorohiko decided to ignore the absurdity of this boy having magical powers... Though he himself knew better than anyone that other powers do exist, the Orbs are a perfect example.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"I do believe it's in your best interest. One of us has to keep watch over him, and I DON'T believe it's in your best interests to have a TR recruiter keeping watch over this boy. I don't yet know what it is about him, but there's something there." [/COLOR] Katai walked away before Rorohiko had a chance to reply and joined Tsuka beside his Bulbasaur.

[COLOR=Black]Dammit, that girl is the most annoying...[/COLOR] He just shook his head.

[COLOR=Black]"What do you mean are you good? Would I personally waste my time on some loser? I think no, Omandaru, you've got guts." [/COLOR] Jared half smiled as they picked up the pace.

"Erm... Thank you! I'm really glad you decided to train me and I'll work really hard and Blah blah blah blah blah...." Karia went on and on and on and on...

[COLOR=Black]"Hey now, slow it down a bit!"[/COLOR] Jared said, starting to get a headache. [COLOR=Black]"Anyway, you wanna try to find another trainer to battle? This time it'll be a fair fight, and this time you'll win outright." [/COLOR] Jared said, mostly just glad Karia had eased up on the talking.

"You think? That would be awesome! I've never fought against a real trainer before... Just my idiot brother."

[COLOR=Black]"You battled your brother? I thought you said he was..."[/COLOR]

"More like he picked on me." Karia sighed. "He just liked to beat up my pokemon to make himself feel big. The bad thing was, he was awesome and noone in the town could beat him, so he just kept beating on US." Karia tilted her head to one side and frowned, suddenly quite aware of her missing hat.

[COLOR=Black]"He couldn't have been a REAL trainer." [/COLOR] Karia looked up at him. [COLOR=Black]"No real trainer would do that. He's just a washed up wanna be."[/COLOR] That comment made Karia turn all smiley again.

"Umm... sir... I mean, Jared... I mean, you there!" Karia couldn't think of a proper way to adress him. Jared just shook his head. [I]'You there'? Couldn't she think of anything better than that?[/I] "Well, I kinda forgot my hat in that clearing back there" Karia pointed the way they'd just past "And I really want it back. Can I go get it? Thanks!" She didn't wait for his reply, she just dashed off. Jared followed more slowly, hoping they'd meet about halfway back and give him some time to think.

[I]She really is determined... But what's so important about that hat?[/I]

IC: Scott looked up at the clouds. They had been talking about him, he knew he had heard his name. But they did not matter, as long as he enjoyed himself then he would come out on top. That is how it has always been , with every thing. He got to his feet and began to lazily walk off towards the next town.

[I] I need to stop bye the pokemon center and check out my pokemon. They are badly hurt.[/I]

? Where are you going? asked Rorohiko

? Where I am going?.? Scott paused for a moment ? Do you not like me very much??

? What ?what are you talking about ?do I like you, hell no I don?t? it was Rorohiko?s turn to pause and wait a moment ? but Oak asked me to watch out for you and that?s what I?m doing?

?Oh , ok well then I?m going to the pokemon center.?

Rin who had been quite for a while stepped forward with a positive attitude in her voice ? Yah, we can all go to the center. Your pokemon could use a break after all the battleing they have done. Just follow me I?ll lead the way.? Rin began to walk in the opposite direction from Viridian City. Katai as clue less as ever followed in her trail.

? Ummmm I though that Pallet town was that way, we are going this way? said Tsuka pointing in the other direction. The two turned around and followed Tsuka as he kinda lead the group in the right direction.

? A hat-yop a hat? Kite bent down and picked up a hat that looked very familiar to him, but where he thought.

------------------ Short intermission as they get to the town---------------------------

Scott laid on the sofa in the Pokemon Center as his three pokemon were being healed.
Rorohiko sat at the other side off the room chatting with Katai and Rin about things relating pokemon, keeping a close eye on Scott.

[I] Magical powers, no way yeah the kids got talent. But you cant suck the powers out of a pokemon, can you?? No of course not it offends reason.[/I] he shook the thought from his head.

Outside the Center in the back ally way Tsuka and Kite battled each other. It was still an even fight Bulbasaur vs. Nuke because the Charmander had yet to learn ember. Tsuka taking advantage of Nuke?s only means of attack being scratch, he attacked from a distance using Vine whip. He KOED Nuke with a few attacks and won the battle. Kite healed it with a potion and it was ready to fight again.

Back inside the Center Nurse Joy came out with six pokeballs on a tray. ? Your Pokemon are ready!!? she announced. Rorohiko,Katai, and surprisingly Scott jumped up to reclaim their pokemon. With a Flash of light a Absol, Gulduck, Squirtle, Nidaran male and female, and Sizor came out and greeted their trainers with smiles and hugs( well as best as they could). Scott did not know how to react, what was this felling that he felt, love; no it could not be he had only love humans not any thing else right ?maybe he did not know he was felling light headed all of a sudden.

Rin creaked a smile as she watched his pokemon give him kisses and such.

[I] Maybe he?s not so bad after all[/I] she turned to talk to him but it was to late??????

[CENTER][COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]"Hey... Rorohiko?" Katai looked around for a second, like she'd lost something.

"Hmm?" He jerked his head from Scott to Katai.

"I think I... Sense a familiar Aura... But it can't be who I think it is..." She raced towards the door.

[I]What, does she think she's some sort of psychic or something?[/I] Rorohiko half followed her, then though better of it and stood where he was. Until, of course, he heard Katai scream.

"Carter! Josh! Oh, my goodness, this is so cool! It's like a reunion!" Katai squealed. As soon as Rorohiko had stepped his foot out the door he wished he hadn't, for there stood Josh and Carter, with an extatic Katai with her arms around thier shoulders.

"Hello, Rorohiko!" Carter smiled as Katai huged him and gave him one of those half-kisses on the cheek.

"Hello." Rorohiko almost just wanted to go back inside.

"So Josh, whatcha doin' here?" Katai was about to give him a hug, too.

"I came to catch the infamous ring-leader of Team Rocket. I have to take you in, Katai." At about that moment, everyone around them (Now including all of the people inside of the Pokmon Center... They all got curious what the rucus was about) were now quite aware of what Josh was wearing... A Police uniform! ((OOC: As I type this, I keep thinking of Josh in Officer Jenny's uniform... I can't help it!))

"Aw, I thought all that was behind us... Hey, how did you even know what region I was in? I was kinda hiding out, ya know..." Katai frowned as Josh nodded toward Carter.

"Your buddy here told me where you were. Let's go, Katai." Josh stepped forward... Cuffs in his hands and everything.

"Carter! You promised you wouldn't tell him where I was unless he was done chasing me! I can't believe you!" She whined.

"Hey, now!" Carter waved his hands. "Don't look at me! He just said he needed a vacation, so... I figured we might wanna meet up with you..." He half smiled.

"Fine then." She scoffed. "Be that way. C'mere, Emerald!" Katai pointed at Josh and Scizor obeyed.

"So it's a battle you want? Well, you'll get a..." Josh stopped suddenly, being whacked in the head with an Iron Claw.

"After this past two years you haven't learned anything!" Katai threw a smokeball at the ground, and her and Scizor jumped into the haze... "I'll be back, don't you worry... I just have to go get the rest of my Pokemon from Oak." The smoke cleared and she was gone, but Josh held up his hand.

"Shh." He held up three fingers... Then two... Then one, and pointed to his left.

"Ow! Stupid rock!" Everyone looked to where Josh was pointing and there was Katai... Sprawled out on the ground. "What the heck?!" Josh smiled.

"You're so predictable, Katai, my dear."[/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

Rorohiko looked at Carter. "I know we had some... dissagreements in the past, but let's try to forget that right now. It seems we have something big on our hands; if Katai's really the current TR leader, then she needs to be arrested. Of course, there's nothing anyone can do to actually make TR competent. They're only where they are because of numbers, and even then, they're more an irritant then a serious threat. You weren't ever involved, but Mizu-remember her? The weird one?-was with me for a while, and we ran into them."

"Ran into who?" Carter asked.

"A religous cult that considers me an 'active and willing ally of Satan' because of my research on Absol, which they consider a Satanic Pokemon."

"You have to be jokeing."

"I'm not. The cult, while large for a cult, has nowhere the numbers of TR, and aren't seen as frequently, but they actually have some dangerous people." Rorohiko stopped and turned. He'd seen someone approaching out of the corner of his eye, and when he turned to get a better look at the man, who was still a ways off but certainly visable, he recognised the man. "Son of a bitch!" he swore.

"What? Who is that?" Carter asked.

"Only one of the cult's most dangerous men, Victor Trolmont. He's one of the higher-ups. I'm surprised to se him after me. They must have upgraded my threat status. Carter, take over with Katai and tell Josh to move to where he can see and hear me well, but make sure he knows to stay hidden. If I can get Trolmont to admit to some of the things he's done, Josh will have proof enough to arrest the man. And if anyone needs to be locked up, it's Trolmont."

As Carter spoke to Josh, Rorohiko readied himself. Trolmont was a dangerous adversary, and Rorohiko was not going to be caught unprepared.

[You Don't Care]

After reaquiring Karia's hat, Jared had decided that they should visit the Pokemon Center. When they arrived, it seemed that there was some sort confrontation happening near the entrance. One was Rorohiko and a man that Jared recognized. It was Victor Trolmont.

"It seems that they have gotten more interested in me." Rorohiko's voice could be heard in the distance. "Why have you decided to come for me?"

"[COLOR=RoyalBlue]Hey look,[/COLOR]" Karia pointed toward the building. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Who are they?"[/COLOR] Around the corner was another man and a police officer. Jared knew exactly what was going on.

"Hold it just a minute!" Jared walked quickly to intercept their conversation. "You are being set up, Trolmont." Victor turned his way and a look came across his face.

"I don't believe it! It has been a while hasn't it, Gearus." He slightly bowed.

"This guy here. He is trying to set you up. There is an officer just around the corner. I'm certain that you don't want a private conversation to be overheard."

"I am grateful that you are concerned about the interests of my associates. But now that I have the opportunity to finally meet you, I have a request." Victor walked over to Jared while Karia took a step back. Everyone was silent waiting for the question to be asked. "Will you join?"

"Not so fast! I am seriously fed up with you now!" Rorohiko threw out his pokeball and his absol came out. It was ready to fight the intruders.

Jared turned away from Victor and faced the pokemon. "As acceptance to your request, I will handle this trainer. As long as I can remain an independent." A smile appeared on Victor's face. "So be it."

Jared paced to Rorohiko's pokemon. "Well!? Lets battle! Bring out your pokemon so I can teach you a lesson!" he shouted. Jared stopped in front of the absol and made a glare toward Rorohiko. "I will not battle such a worthless trainer," he sneered.

With that, Jared took out his sword and swung it with tremendous force upon the unsuspecting pokemon. A loud crack echoed throughout the area. "NOOOO!"

The sword had made its way into the torso of the pokemon. Blood had begun to gush out. Jared then leaned over and snapped the weapon into two, breaking the part that was inside of the pokemon. Jared jumped back and tossed the weapon away. "I figured out your pokemon's special trait. Don't worry, we are in front of a pokemon Center. It will be fine." Jared and Victor turned away. Suddenly, a helicopter swooped down and the two jumped on. "Omandaru. If you would like, you can come with. You do want my training, do you not?"

IC: Unbelievable, that was the one word to explain current events. Things had gotten a little crazy ever scene the group walked out of the pokemon center. Omandaru did not know what to do. Strength that is what she wanted, yet what she had just witnessed had shown strength, but also something ?evil. And to top off her current felling the man she wanted to train her was in a cult. Why? Rorohiko knelt over Absol and tried to get out the shards of sword that were lodged in to his beloved pokemon?s stomach. Katai got up and ran over to Rorohiko. She pushed him out of the way and pulled some advanced medical equipment from her bag. (Katai wanted to be a traveling nurse). She used two long thin thongs to remove the big shards of metal, and bandaged up the wound with disinfectant bandages.

? Take it to Nurse Joy? said Katai standing up facing the helicopter that was still hovering low to the ground. The wind from it nearly blew her away. Carter first to take hold of the situation and commanded his Dragonair in a very low voice to obliterate the chopper. A bean of blue light shoot from the pokemon?s mouth and made contact with the chopper??.almost.

At the last moment Jared had used his Wartortle to use the Protect attack.

?Well that attack was some beautiful thing wasn?t it.? He mocked ? I see were you get all your awards for talent shows? Jared smirked

?Again!!? Dragonair launched another beam of light at the helicopter.

? Go Dragonair hyper bean attack now? said Jared. The beams collided in mid air causing a huge explosion with an even more powerful shock wave. It toppled over the Chopper to the ground. The pilot tried to start it up again and again but it wouldn?t start. He got out and began to radio something over through his walkie-talkie. He turned to Jared. ?Hold them off a little longer sir.?

The two Dragonair flew up into the air lunching a variety of attacks at each other. A thunderbolt hit Carters. It then used the return attack to counter but missed narrowly. Then it followed up with an ice beam. This attack made contact and knocked the Dragonair down a few feet. Jared?s then used an Iron tail which missed then at the same time Carter?s used a blizzard attack ands Jared?s used a dragon rage followed up with a hydro pump. Carter?s Dragonair fell to the ground fainted. Carter in turn fell to his knees as another helicopter can with another Pilot and picked up Jared and the others. Jared turned to the girl sitting on her knees in the grass.

? You coming? he asked her. She continued to sit there and stair out into oblivion.

?Fine suit your self.? He said as the chopper flew away from Viridian City into the bright blue sky. It was 6:00 yet the sky was still as blue as can be. Carter got up and looked around for a moment and released Flygon.
?Sorry our meeting was such a short one, I?ll come back. Every now and then? he said as he let a big smile cover his face. But it was apparent to everyone there this was a bluff to hide his true feelings of sorrow and disappear.

?Carter, don?t go after them okay? Rorohiko came out of the Center to bide his friend good by. ?Promise me that okay?

Carter pondered for a moment and smiled a real smile ? Yeah I?ll let them live so you can take them out? He looked around one last time and then said ? Later? with that hid Flygon let out a cry and flew up into the air and speed of in the direction of the region of Hoen. Rin , Rorohiko , Josh , Katai, Scott, kite, Tsuka and the may other spectators watched as he departed in to the seemingly eternal blueness of the sky

[color=blue][size=1]"It's all so confusing," Rin muttered. There were many sounds coming from outside; buzzing, shouting, cries of pain. None of it made sense to her since she hadn't seen anything. She was staying with the slumbering Scott, and Tsuka and Kite. She wanted to know what was going on outside, but she was glued to her seat.

"What's going on?" Tsuka whispered, rushing over to a seat next to Rin.

"I don't know. Just stay inside. They can handle it," she insisted.

But all the noises. She recognized some of the noise as a helicopter. But that just blurred her idea of the outside's events even more. What was a helicopter doing there? "This is ridiculous," Rin thought aloud. She had been traveling less than a day, and already she felt like she was in over her head. Suddenly, she recognized one of the voices, as well. "Victor," she hissed.

"Should we go outside?" Kite inquired. "No," Rin replied sharply. The outside wasn't the place to go. It lead to nothing but confusion. Inside it was distinct. Safe.

Her odd train of thought was interrupted by the sudden entrance of Rorohiko with Absol in his arms. It looked wounded. But not by a pokemon. Pokemon never did such damage.

"Who?" Rin asked.

"Jared," Rorohiko replied.

The two awake boys were confused. They didn't understand what Rin and Rorohiko were talking about. They weren't able to examine pokemon like Rin could. Damage done from a person is much different from damage done from a pokemon. Trainers learn that at some point. Rin wasn't going to tell them right now.

"What does she mean 'Who'? And Jared? Who's he?" Tsuka whispered to Kite.

"Oh my!" cried Nurse Joy at the sight. Chansey emerged and took the pokemon back with Joy, and Rorohiko was left to pace.

"Wow.. What a prick, eh?" Rin joked, though neither of them laughed. Rorohiko stayed silent, glancing at her from time to time. He was concentrating on Absol. On Jared. On revenge.

Rin leaned patiently on the desk near the emergency room, watching Rorohiko's anxious pacing. His constant pacing. Back and forth. Back and forth. Rin knew she didn't have to watch. It didn't have to bother her. But she couldn't move. She couldn't leave him to worry frantically.

"Blame it on Abstract," Rin spoke up suddenly again. "Who?" Rorohiko asked, still pacing, not looking at her. "A wild Absol I see all the time. It doesn't matter where I am. I think he follows me. But everytime I see him, something bizarre happens."

"Like an earthquake?" he said dryly, still not looking at her. Still pacing.

"No. Nothing natural happens. [i]Bizzare[/i] things happen."

Rorohiko wasn't interested, and continued his pacing. She couldn't grab his attention with tales of her wild pokemon sighting. What did he want to hear? "I heard Victor. Where'd he go?"

Rorohiko's head snapped up. "How do you know him?"

"Through Abstract. Abstract follows me, and Victor follows him. His group tracks wild pokemon, too," Rin explained, happy that Rorohiko had stopped his pacing. "He left in the helicopter. Jared joined him."

"He made Jared attack Absol?"

"No," Rorohiko snapped. It sounded like his hatred for Victor was surpassed only by this new hatred for Jared. She had known him briefly, and he had sickened her. He was thick-headed. Power hungry. Just the type to join Victor.

There was a small ping noise, and the light above the emergency room turned from red to green. There was a sigh of relief shared between the two of them. Joy came back out, Absol walking beside her. "Good as new," she smiled.

"That was fast," Rin noted.

"We have plenty of Chanseys to help today. The center's quite empty today," she chirped, her smile not leaving her face.

"Blame it on Abstract," Rin laughed quietly to herself. Maybe the speedy recovery of Rorohiko's pokemon was his bizzare effect this time. "That would be nice," she found herself thinking aloud. She returned to her seat next to Tsuka and kept an eye on Scott, just as she had been doing.

The noise outside had subsided. A few voices remained, but that was it. The helicopter was gone. Rorohiko sat across from her and the three boys, stroking Absol gently.

OOC: Um... okay, all that was unnecessarily confusing, and Xy GGu's post had some godmodding to make things worse, but I think I got everything (except what the helecopter was doing). I'd just like to point out a mistake Xy GGu made: Victor Trolmont is not with Team Rocket. He's with the cult Rorohiko told Carter about. See the Underground thread for more information on Trolmont and the cult.

Rorohiko quickly began drawing looks. He appeared to be having a conversation, but he didn't seem to be talking to anyone. It startled the onlookers when they realized he was talking to Absol. It sounded like he was actually responding to what he heard, but they all knew Pokemon couldn't produce speech understandable by humans, with the exception of a few legendaries. It should have been impossible for Rorohiko to understand Absol, yet he seemed to understand the Pokemon perfectly.

"We'll find that bastard," Rorohiko told Absol. Absol made an uninteligable reply, but Rorohiko seemed to understand it perfectly. The conversation countinued in this manner.

"Yes, I know we have no idea where he is," Rorohiko said, "but we know enough to find him. Trolmont knew him. We'll get Trolmont to lead us to him. Yes, I know it won't be easy, but you forget, we've beaten Trolmont before. And this time, we don't have to find him. He's after me now, remember. He'll come again. We'll get him then, and make him reveal Jared's location. No, that's simply not going to happen. We've beaten people far more dangerous than Jared, and if it turns out he has backup, we'll just have to call in our own. You know Katrina, and you know her style. If we call her in to help, she'll come in hard and fast, and Jared won't ever know what hit him. No, I don't have a detailed plan yet. We don't have any information. We'll need to wait until Trolmont shows up again. Meanwhile, I have some questions for Rin."

Rorohiko returned Absol, stood up, walked over to Rin, and sat down by her. Knowing that Rin would be wondering about how he coversed with Absol, he said, "I'll explain some other time. Right now,I have questions."

"Questions about what?" Rin asked.

"About this Abstract. I want you to tell me everything you know about it. Every little detail. The kinds of things that happen when it shows up, the way it behaves, if it looks different than a normal Absol, everything. leave nothing out, and I mean nothing. What do you know about Abstract?"

OOC: Kitty, Rorohiko wants to know everything about Abstract, and he will not stop pumping Rin for information until he's convinced she's told him literally everything she knows about Abstract.

[color=blue][size=1]Rin was startled by Rorohiko's sudden desire to know everything about Abstract.

"It's not like he's [i]my[/i] pokemon. I don't know that much," she began. She paused, examining his face for a moment, and saw his determination. He really wanted to know, which struck her as odd, but she chose to tell him anyway.

"Well.. My first encounter with Abstract was when my dad was still living at home in Saffron. I always thought it strange that there was an Absol in Kanto, but there he was, sitting on our doorstep that one day. I came outside and played with him for a bit, not knowing any better. To me, he was just a big dog. We played around in my front yard for hours. When it finally got dark, my father came outside to see why I had been out all day. Abstract had sat calmly beside me until he was spotted. My father had tried to catch him, but Abstract could block or dodge every single ball thrown at him. I didn't want him to go, but if staying meant being bothered by constant attempts to be caught, I knew it'd be best for him to leave. I told my dad to stop, and he did. Abstract said 'goodbye', then bounded off."

"It actually said, "Good-bye"? Or did you two just have a mutual understanding of good-bye?"

"No.. I heard a voice. I can't remember the voice anymore, but it distinctly said, "Good-bye", and a little more."

Rorohiko nodded. "And what did he look like?"

"He looked just like any other Absol, except that he looked a bit bigger, and his coloring seemed off to me with a few different marks on him. And the cresent on his head is actually facing the other way. But I've never gotten that close to him since then, so I can't say for sure."

Rorohiko looked like he was deep in thought, taking in each word and weighing it with great importance. [i]'What's the big deal?'[/i] Rin wondered quietly to herself. [i]'Abstract's just a pokemon. Maybe a bit unusual, but just a pokemon.'[/i]

"Go on. You said before that bizarre things happen after each sighting of yours. What exactly happens?" Rorohiko spoke up.

"The first few times I thought it was just a coincidence because sometimes it took a while before anything happened, and sometimes it was a few moments later that something happened. Lets see.. The first time.." Rin took a moment to remember. It was a long time ago, afterall. "I think that first time, almost immediatly after, we found out that our neighbor's daughter had been in an weird accident around Lavender Town, and fell into a coma. The next time I saw Abstract, she came out of the coma.

"There were other times where large storms came out of nowhere after I'd seen him while traveling. I'd have to find refuge in Pokemon Centers, or in out of the way homes. After another sighting, while I was in a battle, my Dratini recieved a big hit and fainted. But a moment later, before me using a revive, or even switching pokemon, he jumped up and defeated the other trainer's pokemon in a few short moments. This one time, I--"

"Why does it follow you?" Rorohiko interrupted. Rin was not only bothered by Rorohiko's constant referring to Abstract as 'it', but his rude interrupting, as well.

"[i]He[/i]," she corrected, "follows me because we have a connection."

"A connection?"

"Yes. A connection."

"What type of connection? How do you know?" Rorohiko pestered, demanding to know while not sounding forceful at all.

"A connection people usually can only have with a pokemon of their own. A very strong bond. Abstract helps me, and if he ever needed it, I'd help him. All of those events have never hurt me in anyway. They've strengthened me, protected me, saved me. And.. it seems I'm the only one who can see him. Sometimes when he shows himself, he's hidden and it's difficult even for me to spot him. But other times, he'll be in plain view and no one else will notice him," Rin continued.

"So.. Abstract follows you to help you?"

"Yep. Whether I know it or not at the time, each thing he's done has helped me in some way."

Rorohiko 'hmmed', then nodded in approval. He had heard all he needed for the time being. He turned away and stared at the floor, deep in thought. [i]'I wonder why he wants to know...'[/i] Rin thought quietly. Maybe Abstract was becoming more important than just a scape goat.

"Is there any way you can tell when Abstract's going to show up?" Rorohiko asked.

"No, it seems random," Rin told him. "I never know when he'll appear."

"Well, then I guess I'll have to stick with you until it, or he, or she, or whatever shows up."

"Why are you interested in Abstract, anyways?" Rin asked.

"I am a researcher," Rorohiko explained. "I'm trying to figure out just what the deal is with Absol. You know, the whole disaster thing. Well, I've almost got it figured out, but I'm missing a critical piece of information. Based on what you told me, I think Abstract is the missing piece."

"You're going to try to catch him?"

"I have no desire to catch Abstract," Rorohiko assured Rin. "All I need to do is talk to Abstract and make an audio/visual recording of the conversation to proove it actually happened. And since Abstract appears around you, I'll be sticking with you until I get my chance. Good thing we're traveling together."

Rorohiko walked back to his former seat, thinking the whole time. When he got his chance, he wasn't going to waste it. It might be the only one he had.

IC: Scott looked out the window of the Pokemon Center and let his mind wander. He had become board of just waiting around, he wanted a badge, or to get somewhere. He stood up and smoothed the wrinkles out from his shirt from where he had been sleeping.

? I?m going to the Viridian Forest now?

Tsuka looked at him oddly. [I] Should I follow him? I?ve wanted to catch some pokemon from inside there but should I go with Scott or wait- [/I]

?Yeah that?s a good idea, I?m tired of this city now too? said Rin throwing her arms in the are and stretched and let out a yawn. Rorohiko nodded. As the group of four walked out from the Center they found Katai and Josh arguing with each other.

?WELL I DON?T THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME? said Josh

?YEAH, WHATEVER I CAN BEAT YOU ANY DAY? said Katai. She then pulled out her laptop and had Ivy on the telephone, and she was sending over four more pokemon.

?Lets go, Houndoom? the Dark/fire pokemon was released from its ball and let out a defining roar.

? I am using the most powerful water pokemon ever go-? but she then tripped on seemingly nothing and Golduck was released from its pokeball.

?Oh lord they are at each other again.? Said Rorohiko.

Houndoom launched a powerful flamethrower at the Golduck. The water pokemon barely dogged it and countered with a hydro pump.

?Yeah go my beautiful pokemon attack with more and more water. ?

?Double Team attack now houndoom? The pokemon made 20 different copies of itself and the many hydro pumps missed each and every time they were launched destroying the copy when it was hit.

? Flamethrower? All the remaining copies launched the attacks at the gulduck at the same time. The fire engulfed the pokemon and caused an explosion. As the smoke cleared it revealed that Golduck was still standing and looked as if it had taken little damage.

?HA HA fire won?t work on Gulduck.? Katai had a grin from ear to ear. She did not believe that Josh had done such an attack, it left his pokemon open for an attack now was the time to take advantage of his mistake. ? attack with water gun? The attack hit dead on the real Houndoom.
?Now counter attack? Even as the houndoom was being attacked with a stream of water he opened his mouth and launched a powerful blast at Gulduck. Gulduck jumped in to the air and came down with an ice punch. This attack also missed its target leaving the Duck like pokemon open for an attack.

?Crunch attack now Houndoom bring home a victory?

?Gulduck attack with-anything stop it from biting you?

The dark pokemon sank its teeth into the Golduck and it felt the hole body of its victim shank with pain, it had flinched.

?Fire blast?

Golduck then launched a Water Pulse from its mouth. The rings of water shoot through the fire blast and hit Houndoom head on. Houndoom fell to the ground fainted and confused.

?See I told you couldn?t win against me and my Golduck.?

?Yeah yeah go Butterfree?

The blue powder from Venomoth and the purple powder from Butterfree mixed together and made a deadly, new powder the intoxicated both pokemon and put them both into an unconscious state.

All of a sudden he heard a scream and looked up. Josh had lunged himself at Katai and had hand cuffed her to himself. He then released a Fearow and was about to fly away with his prisoner when emerald (her Sizor) came out of nowhere and broke the cuffs with its claw. It then picked up Katai and began to fly her away.

Josh let out a scream of disbelief and told Fearow to follow them. It seemed that He would have a long while to catch the new ring leader of team Rocket. Scott was delighted that the two had stopped battling and left the city and began to walk towards the Forest with Kite, Rin, Rorohiko, Tsuka, and to every ones surprise Karia who seemed to be out of it, just staring at the ground and following the group.

IC: Kerr stepped of the ship and looked around. He noticed a big building with the sign out front that was signed with many names and sid 'Pokemon Fan Club'. Kerr also so three large men in what looked like biker outfits walking around.

"I need to come back to that place. I must be close. I wonder what was so important to dad that he was in such a hurry to get. Alright, Gastly, Come on out!"

Kerr threww the pokeball down as the small little brown dog called Evee strolled to his side. "Gastly, Teleport!" Kerr and the two pokemon suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind the Pokemon City in Viridian City.

Kerr walkeed inside and up to the counter, passing what looked like an intense pokemon battle between an Hundoom and Goldduck. "Nurse Joy, Can you take a look at my evee and Gastly."

"Certainly Hannibal. How's my cousin doing?" the nurse smiled.

"Good. She said to say hi to all of you here in Kanto. I'm here on business for Dad."

"Both are okay. Here you go!"

Evee jumped back down to the floor and walked over to a cute girl. He started licking her leg.

"Evee! That's not very nice. Sorry. Do you know if Professor Oak's in his lab?"

"Yeah. We just came from there. Who are you?"

"you're with the battle, huh? Hannibal King. Everyone calls me Kerr though."
