Gaming The OB biggest bad guy tournament!

Okay, if any of you go to GameFAQs you know that they are in the middle of the best villain competition. So, I thought, why not bring it here? Here's the deal. Every 2 or three days, depending on post count, I name two baddies, you pick the one you like more and explain why, and I count the votes. Im not doing a poll because I want REASONS.

Round one:

Bowser from the Mario series

or

Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series

I pick Bowser, becaus he's big, dumb, and repetitive. He also has a lot of personality. While he spends a lot of time kidnapping the Princess, he and Mario are practically budies. Sure they fight a lot, but if they must they team up. Bowser can be quite powerfull too. Sometimes he is a really tough boss to beat, like when he goes Giga Bowser.

I choose bowser, I'm not really a big fan of the silent hill series, and bowser is classic. Hes been a villain for years and hes one of the best. No matter how stupid, how slow, how tedious he becomes, people still seem to like him. Guess he just has staying power?

It has to be Bowser. His attitude makes for great comedy, he stumbles around cluelessly, and he manages to put up a fight despite that. Plus, he has the most important trait for a great bad guy: determination. He just doesn't give up. No matter how many times Mario thrashes him, he just keeps coming back for more. I don't think there's a single other bad guy as single-minded and determined as Bowser.

:animeangr I'm gonna have to say that yeah Bowser is an awesome bad guy because of all reasons stated above by previous members but I say that the Pyramid Head is a way better bad guy.If u want to see one ruthlessly evil bad guy that looks scary then he's ur bad guy.Not to meantion the way he horrified James in that first encounter.I feel that the bad guy should be scary,taunting,and disturbingly funny.That's the way I feel about these bad guys.Repitition and predictablility is not entertaining.

Bowser. no contest.

Bowser has been the main badguy of the mario series since 1985 (as far as my knowledge goes), and aside from looking cool, he had the presence to back up threats, could spit fire, and had offspring that could prove quite the challenge.

I think its quite ovious that Bowser is the winner here. Now for round two.

Sigma from Mega Man X

vs.

Andross from Star Fox

I vote for Sigma because, while I don't know very much about him, I know that Andross has almost no personality whatsoever. You just find him and kill him, while Sigma is truly evil.

I choose Sigma, I always thought he was kind of cool anyway, but personally I hated almost every character from Star Fox. I wish they would put Slippy in SSB so I could beat the crap out of him with Falco or something :animesigh

I agree with thatoneodddude. Sigma is my choice for round two. I don't really know all that much about either of them, but like thatoneodddude said, Sigma is truly evil.
