[Who Am I?]

[COLOR=Navy][B]Micky went to his class: IT.

He took his seat and began to twirl his pencil, around and around. Mr. Saunders was giving a lesson. Everyone began to turn on their computers and started their lesson. Micky turned on his and watched and listened. The teacher continued his lesson and Micky doodled his name on a sheet of paper.[/B]

[I]I wonder what Drew and Amy are doing?[/I] he wondered and doodled some more. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]"Aka..." Rin muttered. She hadn't stopped by, and class was about to start. Sprinting her way up two flights of stairs, she stumbled over towards her classroom. Almost at the door, she thought for once she wouldn't be late. But to her dismay, the final bell rang. "Shit!" she cried, making a passing teacher stare at her in a rather menacing fashion.

Rin chuckled nervously, then scampered quickly the rest of the way to History. When she entered, she was greeted with Genki's familiar voice shouting at her. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she repeated, bowing to him. "It's just.. I was waiting for someone but they--" She glanced up and spotted her friend.

"Aka!" she shouted, running up to her friend and plopping down beside her. "You're forgiven," Genki laughed after her. He cleared his throat and called for the classes attention. He then dove into his lesson.

"Oops.." Aka mumbled, realizing she had forgotten. "I'm sorry, Rin. I won't forget next time." Rin eyed her oddly, but sighed and turned to listen to the teacher.

After a few boring minutes, Aka wrote her friend a note. The note read, 'Have you seen the new girl? Ken's been eyeing her. [i]'Great,'[/i] Rin thought quietly. She returned, 'No. Where is she?' Passing her friend the reply, Rin waited for Aka to point her out. Aka nodded towards a girl a few rows down.

"Her?" Rin mouthed, pointing at the girl. Aka nodded. [i]'What's she got, that I haven't got?'[/i] Rin huffed silently in a tiny fit of jealousy. Just then, Genki pointed in her direction and said, "The answer, please." "Me?" she blinked, pointing to herself. "No, the boy behind you," Genki laughed. "Oh," she coughed, avoiding the stares she was recieving and trying to ignore a few rude giggles.

The boy answered, and Genki returned to telling the class something nobody was going to listen to. "Hey Aka," Rin leaned over. "Huh?" "Is there gonna be a test this week? Genki was saying something about a test yesterday." "I dunno," her friend replied, after a few moments of thinking.

"There's a test Friday."

Rin blinked, and noticed that it was Alex who had told her. "Oh.. Thanks. What's it on?" "The last two chapters we've read." "Thank you!" she whispered happily. She normally didn't study for tests, but had lost her book for a few weeks and hadn't gotten a chance to do the homework except in the library, which was usually closed by the time she got there.

"Why'd you want to know?" Aka asked her. "If I don't get an A, my grade's gonna drop," Rin replied, busy scribbling down the chapters and date on a small piece of paper. "And you care why?" came another voice. "Because if one of my grades drop, then I'll get the car taken a-" she stopped short as she looked up, seeing she was answering to Ken.

"The car taken..?" he eyed her oddly.

"Away. The car taken away.. again," she sighed, shoving the paper into her bag and turning away.

"Your friends a bit jumpy, isn't she?" Ken muttered in Aka's ear. "Shut up," she said, hitting him on the arm. "What?" he asked defensively. Rin laughed, but quieted as she realized she had attracted Genki's attention. He paused, looking at the three of them, then resumed writting on the chalkboard.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[FONT=Verdana][SIZE=1][COLOR=Green]Amy walked slowly into her History class. She looked around and saw some familiar faces; she went to the back of the classroom and took a seat. She pulled out her notebook and opened it up to a blank new page. She smoothed out the page and grabbed her bag from the hook on the side of the desk. She took out an eraser and mechanical pencil; she placed neatly on the side of her notebook and waited patiently for the teacher to arrive. Mr. Genki, or Genki as the other children called him entered. She was sitting next to Drew, she had asked him why he always had a problem with his tie.

Genki walked slowly toward the board, he turned to face the class. [B]?Does anyone know when Japan was founded??[/B] A cricket chirped in the background. [B]?How very enthusiastic??[/B] Amy whispered over to Drew who laughed at the comment. Amy slowly raised her hand, and Genki turned his head slowly over to the young girl. He rose his piece of chalk; suddenly he threw it at the girl?s head. ?[B]That?s for being so?.? [/B] Everyone scooted backwards away from the odd old man. ?[B]Anyways??[/B] his voice trailed off as Amy sat there in shock. [B]?Ass?? [/B] she commented and she began to jolt down notes.

Amy raised her head and looked at the clock, what was three minutes seemed like an eternity. She looked at her notes; a few Korean characters decorated the borders of the page. She smiled to herself and noticed that Genki had a stack of small cut papers in his hands. ?[B]Here I hold your grades for the first week of school??[/B] he slowly passed out the pieces of papers.

Amy smiled in delight as she saw she got 345 points (A+).[B] ?What?d you get Drew??[/B] she saw his paper said 343 points (as I recall?an A). Drew held his head, [B]?Hey, good job!"[/B] Drew smiled weakly at Amy who seemed to cheer him up.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

OOC: Sorry about that last post! I forgot that it was Wednesday. It was confusing a little to start at the middle of the week. I edited.

[COLOR=Blue]Kina was paying attention to Mr. Saunders. She really liked his class because it was somethign that she actually got into and was good at. That's why Mr. Saunders had Kina as one of his favorite students. Since Micky was right next to her, she felt a little better about being twenty minutes late. Hoshiko was in the row behind Kina. She thought that she had to arrange the next studdy date. Kina turned around and whispered," Hoshiko, when should the next studdy group?"
"Miss Mitori! Would you please stop interupting my class? I don't know what it is today, but try not to divert Ms. Johnson attention as well."
"I'm sorry Mr. Saunders. I'll try not to be a diversion anymore."
"Thank you" My Saunders continued with his lecture. Kina was starting to wish that her karate lessons were tonight, that way she could take her anger out. She was hoping that something could just come along and make her feel better. She tried to focus on the IT class, but she just had her mind set on how the day has been going wrong so far. She looked forward to lunch since that was the first she saw Alex on Wednesdays. Until then, she just had to endure.[/COLOR]

OOC: :animestun You guys went a bit faster than I expected...I hope you will forgive my tardiness. I had promised Reiku that I'd sign up a while ago but I was kept busy with Exams...*bows*

IIC:

Courtney slapped her forehead vigoriously. She was late to her first day of school at this new high school. She had rushed into her uniform which was delivered to her a few days go, and began jogging to her school. Luckily for her it was only a short distance of a few blocks. She glanced at her watch as she climed the stoop before the school's double doors.

[B]" Well...I'm only a half hour late...maybe that's not too bad...ugh..Yeah right."[/B]

She found her first class relitively easy, thankfully the map the school had sent out was both detailed and easy to read. She peeked in window checking out the classroom. A large lump began to form in her throat.

[I]God I hope the teacher doesn't yell at me...[/I]

She knocked slightly on the door before entering. Now she really was nervous, all eyes were fixed on her as she walked to the proffessor handing him a notice of her transfer.

[B]"Well Miss Banks, I'm glad you could grace us with your presence. I've been expecting you, now have a seat. For some reason I'm just blessed with interuptions today."[/B] Mr. Sounders gave a short glance at a girl across the room and continued with his lecture.

Courtney kept her eyes to the floor, a bit of a nervous habbit she had sometimes. She let out a sigh as she took a seat in the middle row of the class room.

[I]Whew...well I guess that wasn't REAL bad.[/I]

[Redemption]

[FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=#6666cc]Alex stared out of the window, listening to Genki-san ramble on about politics of the ancient Romans. He was thinking about soccer training which was on this afternoon. He couldn't wait. Soccer was the only time when he felt he could let his agression out. That's why he was the centre mid player. He could run around like crazy, attacking any player he wished.

Suddenly the building was rocked by a huge explosion. The fire alarm sounded. All the students in the History class stood. Alex looked around.

" Fire alarm students. File out!" Genki shouted over the din made from downstairs. Alex looked out of the window. Smoke rose from the floors underneath them.
" Jace..."

The class filed out and took the stairs down to the first floor. Smoke covered the roof. They put their hands over their noses and mouths and quickly made their way outside. They stood around in a group. Alex, being fairly tall, looked around for other groups of their grade. Two were missing - the IT class and the Biology class. He overheard a teacher talking to another.

" The Biology and IT class are trapped inside. Should we tell the students?"
" No... better not tell them that that stupid Chemistry teacher blew up a lab and started a fire."
" But what if they don't get out?"
" The authorities are on their way. There's nothing more we can do."

Alex stood there stunned for a second. The others looked around.
" Jace.... Maria..."

" Hey, where's Micky?" Aka and Drew asked together. Alex grit his teeth, wondering whether to tell them or not. Another explosion rocked the building. Girls screamed as everyone was knocked to the ground by the shockwave.

" JACE! MARIA!" Alex yelled before sprinting inside the now burning building. He crawled along the ground to stop himself breathing in smoke. He made his way to the IT room. The door was jammed for some reason. Standing up, Alex put his nose and mouth inside his shirt and kicked down the door to the room. He dropped to the floor again to see people unconscious.

" Oh no." He crawled around to fit Maria on the ground unconscious. He grabbed her, slinging her over his shoulders and walked outside with her. Teachers rushed to him but he swatted them away, laying Maria gently on the ground.

He laid his ear on her chest, listening for her heartbeat. It was still there. Alex breathed a sigh of relief, before looking at the burning building once more.
" Jace..."

Alex looked to his fellow students in his History class.
" Come and help me. There's everyone in there. We need to get them out."
The teachers started shouting their rejections to it, but Alex didn't listen to them. He ran back inside to find the Biology class.

Crawling around on the floor once more, Alex made his way around to the Biology room. The door had been blown off its hinges and laid on the floor. Alex cralwed over it and into the room. Miss Nevada and her students were unconscious too. He managed to find Jace under a pile of desks. Alex started to pull them off him when the building shook again. The gas bottles in the Chemistry room exploded. Pieces from the ceiling started to fall down. One smashed on the desk above Jace. Alex ripped it off of his friend and started to drag him out when a piece from the ceiling dropped onto Alex's back.

The pain was excruciating, cutting him in the back, bruising him where he didn't get cut.
" Jace... you always manage to get yourself into these situations..."
In a few minutes, Alex has hulked Jace out of the building and laid him next to Maria. He had also noticed that some of his History friends had gone into the building, dispite the teacher's rejections.

Genki came over to Alex.
" That's a nasty but on your back son. Stay here and get it tended."
" No. My friends are in there."

Alex ran back inside. His next target was Zeph.

[b]OOC: Ok, people in Biology and IT, you need to wake up, having someone of our grade saving you. People in History, save someone. AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE TEACHERS!![/b][/color][/font]

[Sakura]

[color=Navy]Zephan wasn't aware of what had happened when the smoke started to filter into the classroom. By the time they had realised there was a fire, they were trapped, all of the doors were too hot to touch to exit and they were also jammed for some reason. Zephan coughed heavily until he was out of breath, he had asthma and the smoke wasn't doing anything good for him. He fumbled through his bag and pulled out the inhaler, taking several puffs from it. He quickly too his tie off and wrapped it around his nose and mouth to filter the smoke.

Zephan weakly crawled over to Maria and signalled for her to do what he had done to stop inhaling the smoke. Maria nodded and copied him.

He watched as eveyone fell unconscious, he was determined to stay conscious but he started to shutdown as the contained smoke got too much.

Zephan was lying on the ground beside Maria when she was taken away by Alex, in his unconscious state, his grip on his inhaled tightened.

After Alex saved Jace, he came to Zephan and hauled him over his shoulder. It was a good thing Zephan was light.

When they got outside again, Alex lay Zephan beside Jace, pulling the ties away from Zephan and Maria's mouthes. Zephan sat up quickly, letting out a loud, hacking cough. Alex knelt next to him and rubbed his back as he went into a coughing fit. Zephan was trying to put the inhaler to his mouth but he was shaking too much. Alex picked up the small canister and held it to Zephan's lips. He continued to cough, with wheezing breaths and opened his mouth. Alex pumped the gas into Zephan's lungs and he calmed down, falling back onto the grass, exhausted.

[b]"What....happened?" [/b]he wheezed.

[b]"There was a fire." [/b]Alex said, looking at the flames.

[b]"No! Kina's still in there, and Kaela, and -" [/b]Zephan said, getting to his feet weakly.

[b]"Zeph! You can't go in there. You just had an asthma attack and the entire place is flooded with smoke." [/b]Alex got up too.

[b]"I can do it. If I don't do this, I'll regret it. You would do the same thing for me, Jace and Maria." [/b]Zephan argued.

Alex sighed heavily and threw his tie at him, Zephan tied it tightly around his mouth and they both ran into the building. Zephan headed toward the IT room, while Alex went to the Biology class.

[color=blue][size=1]Rin had run in the building after Alex had retrieved both Jace and Maria. Many others followed, but some branched off to save those in the Biology room. Rin, however, was after Kina.

When she reached the classroom, the door was knocked down. [i]'Alex,'[/i] she knew immediately. Glancing around, and covering her nose and mouth with her tie, she spotted many she recognized. [i]'I'll come back for them, if others don't before me. Right now, I have to get Kina,'[/i] she reassured herself. It was hard to find her. Computers and desks and chairs lay everywhere, and a few of the ceiling tiles had fallen, and others were falling. "Damnit," she muttered angrily to herself. She was never good at dangerous things.

Finally spotting her friend unconcious and beneath a chair towards the back of the class, she rushed over and removed the obstruction, then proceeded to drag her friend out. She laid her down to examine her for wounds, and found a large gash on her leg where the chair obviously had hit her. Thinking quickly, she ripped a bit off the bottom of her own skirt and tied it around her friend's bleeding leg, then placed her hands underneath Kina's arms, and pulled.

"Kina!" she called, trying to wake her best friend up, dragging her towards the doorway. "Kina, wake up! You have to help me. I can't drag you all the way out of here," she managed to spit out between coughs. Just then, her friend began to cough and wheeze for a few moments, as Rin watched in horror. [i]'The smoke,'[/i] she began to look around frantically. "Her tie!" she cried, remembering her friend, too, had a tie.

Rin paused a brief moment to wrap Kina's tie around her mouth and nose, then resumed dragging her out by her arms. Just then, Zephen burst through the doorway.

"Rin!" he coughed.

"Zeph! Get the others. I can take her," she demanded. She could get Kina out of harms way, if not all the way to the yard. The others needed rescuing, too.

Suddenly, Kina began to cough again, but this time, her eyes opened as well. "R.. Rin!" she managed to spit out, between all her coughing. "Kina! Can you stand?"

Her friend struggled to get to her feet, but with a bit of help, she stood. She couldn't put any weight on her injured leg, so she hopped on one foot, using Rin to walk. The two got out much quicker this way, and reached the yard sooner than Rin had thought possible. She laid her friend down near Jace and Maria, and ordered her to stay put. Not that Kina had any intention of leaving, but just to make sure.

"Don't worry. I'll stay put," Kina reassured her. Rin then nodded and rushed back towards Biology.

On her way, she spotted Zeph running out carrying Hoshiko.

[i]'Okay. Another down. How many are left?'[/i] she wondered, running as fast as she could.[/size][/color]

Ken stood next to Alex and Aka. Alex looked stunned for a second.

[B]" Jace.... Maria..."[/B]

[B]?My God??[/B] Ken breathed. He?d forgotten they were down there

[B]" Hey, where's Micky?" [/B] Aka and Drew asked together. Alex grit his teeth and Ken looked over at him. Another explosion rocked the building. Girls screamed as everyone was knocked to the ground by the shockwave.

[B]" JACE! MARIA!"[/B] Alex yelled before sprinting inside the now burning building. Ken pulled himself up and followed. There was no way they were waiting for the Authorities now.

Alex kicked down a door. It looked like they were in the IT room. Ken started looking around, moving desks and debris.

He heard a cough, Alex waved to him [B]?I got Maria over here.?[/B]

Ken nodded, relieved. He continued to dig. He found Kaela under one of the desks. He moved it and started checking her legs. Ken saw Alex come backa nd help a half concious Zeph out. He pulled Kaela out and carried her outside, laying her next to Maria.

Aka ran over [B]?Is she ok??[/B]

[B]?I think so. There are more people down there.?[/B]

[B]?I?m coming with you!? [/B] She followed in after him. They headed back to the IT room. Rin passed them with Kina. They went in and saw Zeph picking up another kid. Aka started to dig.

[B]?Ken, it?s Micky!?[/B]

[B]?Ok, here.? [/B] He braced up some debris so she could drag him out

[FONT=Verdana][SIZE=1][COLOR=SlateGray]Amy was reading a manhwa (Korean manga) secretly while Genki blabbed on for what seemed forever. Amy was shaken with shock when she heard the fire alarm go off, [B]?Oh must be a fire drill??[/B] she thought to herself. Genki looked out the doorway and returned in with a pale face, Amy then knew something was wrong. [B]?Um?guys?.please exit the classroom fast but in an orderly fashion?? [/B] the students shot up and ran out the door. Amy covered her mouth and squinted her eyes as she made her way through the smoke, she finally made it outside and took a big breath. She put a hand on her chest exhaling as much air as she could, but what came next was even more bad news for Amy.

What seemed like 4 seconds?was actually one second of doom. The school rumbled producing a large roaring sound, as Amy turned around she could see a good hundred students fall to the floor as if it were a domino effect, Amy was next. She was thrown through the air and toward the gravel, she hit head first. Amy was conscious but was paralyzed by shock, she lay there blinking. She heard muffles of the teachers talking and running about [B]?The IT and Biology class are still inside?.? [/B] Amy closed her eyes and tears ran down her cheeks.

They touched the gravel making a dripping sound; some of the dripping was the blood from her face. Amy brought her hand to her head and wiped off the remaining blood from the cuts, she sat up looking around. She saw Drew with his hand up to his mouth looking at the school, she ran over toward him limping.

[B]?Drew?please tell me?? [/B] Drew looked at her shaking his head, his eyes red. [B]?He?s in there?drew you are not telling me this!!!?[/B] she yelled and looked over to the school that look like a bomb went off inside. She looked at Drew one more time.

She ran toward the school and teachers blocked the entrance, [B]?Let me in or else?? [/B] the teachers looked at each other not noticing that Amy had slipped under their arms and ran inside the school. She covered her mouth and looked around the smoke screaming her brother?s name.

She could see some other students pulling out Mickey, she ran toward them not knowing who they were because of the smoke clouding their faces. [B]?Amy?.run back outside?.you?ll die in here!? [/B] Amy looked down at her brother who was coughing; she then looked at what seemed Aka. Amy nodded and covered her mouth once more and ran outside. At least her brother was safe.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[Skye]

[size=1]The smoke was getting worse. Kaela struggled to follow everyone out of the building, when things caved in around her. She dodged sideways, and ran for the window.

Kaela was coughing madly, her eyes stinging with tears. An explosion above her head, and she screamed. Dropping to her knees, she covered her head, curled up in a tight ball. Debris trapped a desk down on top of her, and she pulled her shirt up over her mouth, trying not to breathe in any dust.

She couldn?t think. Time seemed to pass endlessly as the air became choked with dust and smoke. The desk and the debris were pushing down hard on her, and she had to breathe in short gasps.

?[b]I?ve got Maria over here.[/b]?

Her brain foggily registered someone moving things from off of her, and then the desk was gone. She couldn?t feel her legs, and she was barely conscious. Ken was checking her over, and then picked her up, racing her outside. She felt her lungs clear, and she was lain on the ground.

Ken raced away again, and as pain settled over her legs, she lost conciousness.[/size]

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Palatino Linotype]Amy came back out shortly before Micky was dragged out by Ken and Aka. Drew looked around and saw that Kyo was missing. [B]"Shit...Kyo!"[/B]

He ran past Genki who attempted to grab him by the arm. [B]"Drew Takeda, get back here!"[/B]
[B]"Screw you, my friends are in there!"[/B] He yelled back as he ran into the smoke filled corridor. Immediately, he closed his eyes and stuck his tie in his mouth. He squinted and ran to the Biology classroom.

Drew looked inside to see Kyo unconscious on the floor under a lab table. He ran in and slid on his knees next to Kyo.[B] "Kyo! Kyo! Wake up!"[/B] He yelled and shook him. Kyo's eyes flickered open and that's when Drew noticed that he had a line of blood flowing from his head.

[B]"Shit."[/B] Drew muffled through his tie. [B]"C'mon, I'll get you out of here."[/B] He struggled to sit up, and Drew wrapped his arm around him and picked him up. He figured it was best to just carry Kyo on his back, it would be a lot easier.

Kyo rested his head on Drew's shoulder as Drew ran to the entrance of the classroom. He ran down the hall and Kyo began coughing. [B]"Hang on. It's just a little farther."[/B] Drew muffled as he reached the exit corridor. He ran out and across the way towards Amy and Micky.

He dropped to his knees and let Kyo off of his back. [B]"Amy, see if you can get some help from one of the teachers for his head."[/B] She nodded.
Kyo opened his eyes again. [B]"Thanks...Drew."[/B] He coughed.
[B]"It was no problem."[/B] Drew replied, still trying to catch his breath.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Aka stopped Ken right before he ran of into the building again.

[B]"I'm gonna go back and get Johnson, kay?"[/B] Ken nodded and headed into the school as well. Aka soon lost sight of him in the smoke as she made her way into the IT classroom.

[B][I]Guess it's a good thing for once that I'm a gangster...[/I][/B] Aka thought as she adjusted her hospital mask while looking for Hoshiko. She leaned down looking beneath a semi-unscathed table.

[B]"Hoshiko?"[/B]

Kyo blinked his eyes then suddenly sat up, which he quickly regretted doing. "Uh, my head." he said horsly, bringing his hand up to his injured head.

"Easy, son. You suffered quite a head injury there." Kyo looked to his right to see a paramedic standing over him.

"Yeah, Kyo. You gave us all quite a scare," said Amy with a look of serious consern on her face. She was kneeling on the ground next to Kyo. "Do you feel okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," He looked over at the smoking school building. "What happened?"

"There was an explosion in the chemistry lab, from what I heard," Amy informed him.

"Oh, yeah," remembered Kyo, "I was in biology when the explosion when off. Pieces of the ceiling and walls came crashing down on us and smoke filled the room. Then everything goes dark after that. I guess I must'a hit my head or something. The next thing I remember was Drew carrying me out on his back..." Kyo paused for a minute. "Hey where's Drew?"

"I'm right here," chimed in Drew walking up to them. "Think you're alright to stand?" he asked, offering a hand.

"Yeah," said Kyo taking his hand and using the suport to pull himself up off the ground.

"Kyo, are you sure you should be standing up?" asked Amy getting up and dusting herself off.

"Like I said before, [I]I'm fine[/I]. Ooh!" Kyo put his hand to his head again, "Just have a bit of a headache, that's all."[/COLOR]

OOC: YAY faulty sprinkler systems. *wink wink* JK

IC: Kina watched as the school was being burned, but was relieved that the students were helping bring out the victems. But Kina just felt so helpless that she couldn't do anything to help. She tried to stand up but, just had pain throb through her leg. "AHH!" she screamed holding her leg.
"Stop that Kina. Stay off that leg!" She knew that she couldn't save anyone with just one leg, so she sat down. After she thought how she could help, she relized that she could try to help the people that were still unconcious. There wasn't much to do, but she tried to wave fresh air to help them breathe and just help them wake up. She had no clue if she should do CPR, so she just did the best she could until it worked.

OOC: Sorry that was a short post. I'd like this to end soon, because my community had two people die from a fire just two weeks ago and so it's a touchy subject at the moment.

[/B] all three of them laughed, Kyo held his head again [B]?Well at least the pain is going away?did you guys get Mickey out of there??[/B] Amy nodded, [B]?Yea, he got out safe and sound?thank God.? [/B] She looked around seeing ambulances arriving.

She sighed as some people were wheeled into the ambulance, some of them getting a few stitches. Many people had to get casts and neck casts (I forget what they are called). She looked around once more and crossed her arms, she looked toward the school. The fire was out but the smoke kept on billowing out.

[B]?I wonder what is going to happen?where will we go to school??[/B] Amy was very concerned, Kyo shrugged. [B]?Don?t worry kids?the school will be all fixed up very soon. Maybe tomorrow even if they work a miracle??[/B] the teacher was Genki. He had a very mournful face on, but you could tell he had hope deep down inside.

Mickey came limping over to Amy; she turned and hugged him tightly. She started to cry in his chest, Mickey patted her back and said ?[B]Ken-Cha-Na?[/B] which means ?It?s ok?? Amy let go of him and looked down at his leg. His school pants were torn, ?[B]Oh Mickey? Mom is going to be mad at you!?[/B] they both laughed. The looked at the school as the smoke started to slow down, it was a horrible event for the students and staff.

Amy looked over at Kyo; he was talking to some other students. She smiled, she liked him a lot.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[Who Am I?]

[COLOR=Navy][B]Micky hugged Amy and they looked at the burning school.[/B]

"Glad that's o---" Micky coughed.

"--Over." He finished the rest of his sentence.

[B]He coughed a bit more and then tried to smell the fresh air. He smiled at his sister who seemed to stare at Kyo.[/B] [/COLOR]

[COLOR=SeaGreen][FONT=Arial Narrow]Jace's head swam and he couldn't clear the blackness from his eyes, just couldn't get his eyes to open. He could hear people running around and the smell of burning materials filtered through his nose. He grumbled some, couldn't tell if it was out loud or not, but he did it any ways.

"Jace...Jace wake up!" He could hear some one shouting over top of him.

"Eh," Jace mumbled as he forced himself to open his eyes, the bright sun nearly blinding him as he tried to focus on the figure above him.

"Jace?" The face started to become more of a shape rather than some big pale blur. It was Maria leaning over him, she had dark patches of ash on her body.

"My head..." Jace moaned as he tried to sit up. A sudden surge of pain ran through his body and he dropped back to the ground with a thud.

"You shouldn't move. You broke some rips and dislocated your shoulder." Maria said leaning over him again.

"What happened? Alex!" Jace shouted trying to sit up, but Maria put a firm hand on his stomach.

"Alex is fine, he's helping rescue the other students trapped in the building. He pulled you out."

Jace gave another moan as he laid back down, staring up into the punk-goth girl's face. She wore way too much pink for his taste, but she was always cool to hang around. Not like some of the stuck up snots Alex hung around.

"So what happened?" Jace mumbled, trying to keep his cool-tough guy appearance. Maria smiled at him.

"The chemistry teacher blew up a couple of labs and caught the school on fire." Just as she finished her sentence flashing lights and sirens sounded. A parramedic rushed over to Jace and Maria. She nodded her head and left with the man as another came over to check him out.

"Damn...I was hopin' for a chick, but you'll do just fine." Jace smiled at the attractive dark hair man that stomped over him.

"Just lie still sir," the man said as he took a hold of Jace's left arm, the one that wasn't throbbing like crazy.

"I'll do anything for you." Jace winked.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Ken leaned against the side of one of the emergency trucks. They insisted on checking him, Alex, Aka and others who had help drag people out, for smoke inhalation damage. They had been taken aback by Aka having used a mask. Maria walked over to them

Ken smiled at her and gave her a hug [B]?We?re ok. Did everyone get out of there??[/B]

[B]?They think so, but they aren?t sure, the emergency crew is going through and making sure everyone?s out now.?[/B]

Alex nodded.[B] ?I?m going to go check on Jace? [/B] he walked over to the medic station.

Aka came over [B]?So, are we going home now or what??[/B]

[B]?No one?s said anything yet, so everyone?s just standing around here.?[/B]

[B]?Well, I got things to do today.? [/B] Aka started walking away

[B]?Aka! Come on, they?ll probably let us go soon, just wait it out.?[/B]

She sighed, shook her head and keptl walking.

Ken shook his head and turned to Maria [B]?So, wanna go back to the apartment after this and watch a movie or something?? [/B]

[B]?Ok, I?m going to go check on Kaela. I?ll meet you by the bike if they dismiss us.?[/B]

[size=1]Kaela woke slowly, and her only thought was for her throbbing legs. She could hear people moving about around her, and she shrieked in pain when someone touched her leg. Her eyes flew open, and she gasped. Tears came to her eyes as someone put a cool hand on her forehead, and murmured, ?Hey, Kaela, calm down, it?s okay.?

She looked up to see Ken watching her with a concerned look. There were doctors around her, and one gently shifted her leg. He frowned. ?It looks like your leg is pretty bruised. No lacerations, but it is going to be pretty tender for a while. You don?t need to walk on it.?

She bit her tongue to keep from screaming as a nurse gently and slowly rubbed a salve onto her leg. The doctor looked up to Ken, and said, ?Young man, I take it you are a friend of hers?? Ken nodded.

?I would like it if you could help her up, and keep an eye on her to make sure she does NOT walk on that leg.?

Kaela let her breath out as the nurse let up, and looked around. She said quietly, ?Ken-chan, is everyone okay?? Ken only nodded, and helped her sit up. She coughed for a moment, clearing her lungs, and then Ken helped her to her feet.

?Here. Take this and put it on your leg every five hours. It should help with the pain, and the healing.? Kaela took it, and slipped it into one of her pockets.

She didn?t realize Dirk was nearby until he came over, and said, looking right at Ken, ?I?ll take her; you have a date, don?t you?? Kaela raised an eyebrow, but Ken laughed. ?yeah, Maria and I are gonna go watch a movie. I wouldn?t count it as a date; more like getting in free time before the school takes it away again. But thanks, man.?

Kaela bit her tongue again as Dirk slipped one arm around her waist, and she put and arm around his shoulder. Ken brushed her hair back from her face once before smiling, and then leaving to find Maria.

[Redemption]

[FONT=Trebuchet MS][COLOR=#6666cc]The fire brigade had finally arrived and started to put out the flames. Alex had brought Miss Nevada and Mr Saunders out of the building. They were the last he could find. He took them to the paramedics to be treated, however, refused to be treated himself.

Walking around to all of the people in his grade, Alex made sure everyone was ok. He walked over to Zeph who looked like he was having small trouble breathing.

" Zeph-san, are you all right?" Alex asked.
Zeph looked up at him and started to laugh but ended up coughing. Alex, however, got the drift.
" What are you laughing at?"
" You... so much for the prince act."
Alex looked confused. He looked at himself in the reflection of the ambulance vehicle. His face was grubby with dark marks of soot everywhere. His silvery-blue hair was turned a little grey from soot and his shirt was red with blood from his gash in his back. Alex laughed.
" I am a mess."
Zeph nodded, took a swiff of his puffer and stood up straight. " That's better."

" Is everyone all right?"
Zeph nodded. " Everyone from our grade got out ok. Jace and Kaela are the worse of all of us. Everyone else seemed to come out relatively unscathed, except for a few cuts, bumps and bruises."
Alex sighed. " That's a relief."

He looked at the school building which was now smouldering on the right hand side. The principal of the school adressed the students and told all of them to go home and recover. School was going to start at the end of lunchtime tomorrow. The students that got out without an injury cheered. The mass of students flooded for the school gates. However, most of Alex's grade stayed behind.

" So what now?" Amy asked.
" Well, Jace and Kaela will have to be taken to hospital," Alex said, concerned, " I have to go with Jace. Maria-chan, you should come too."
" Can't. Going to watch a movie with Ken," Maria replied. Alex looked a little hurt, but he didn't expect her to come with anyway.
" What about soccer training?" Zeph asked.
" I don't think we'll be having it. I think it's best to leave it for today."
The boys in the team nodded.

" Ok, everyone go home and have some rest, and I mean everybody. We'll all have trouble breathing in a few hours because of the smoke. Just relax, nothing too strenious," Alex warned them all. They all nodded. Everyone said godbye to each other and started on their way home. However, Alex started his way to the hospital to check up on Kaela and Jace.

Alex smiled to one of the nurses who passed him, smiling. She was the one that told him where Jace and Kaela were. Luckily the two had been put in adjacent rooms. Alex sat in the middle of the wall, halfway between the doors. Passing nurses and doctors offered to help Alex with his injury, but he politely refused their help until he knew the others were safe.

He'd been waiting there for an hour before a nurse came out and told him that he could go see Kaela. She'd been hurt fairly badly but the paramedics had done a good job patching her up. She was sleeping from the drugs they had given her to dull the pain.

Alex walked back out to find that he was allowed to go into Jace's room now. When Alex walked in, he saw Jace asleep in the bed. He sighed with relief before taking a chair and sitting on it next to the bed. Looking up at Jace, Alex shook his head at him.

" You always get yourself into those situations Jace. I'm always there to save you, luckily."

Alex lay his head down on the bed, exhausted from helping people out of the school building and the walk to the hospital.

[COLOR=SeaGreen][FONT=Arial Narrow]Jace mumbled a bit, his head felt heavy as he brought himself to open his eyes again. The white walls of the hospital stared back at him as he tried to sit up a bit. His chest prevented most of his movement though. They had slung his arm up to prevent him from using it too much.

Jace looked down to see Alex sleeping lightly at his bed side. Blood and various other things still covered his body. Jace shook his head and smiled. He ruffled the silver-blue mop with his left hand and the Prince slowly stirred.

"Hey sleepy head, why haven't you seen a nurse?" Jace brushed a few strains out of Alex's eyes.

"Jace-chan, you're awake." Alex smiled at his friend.

"Yeah, what's your point Princey-boy?" Jace's tone changed a little, but still just as friendly and fun-loving.

"I was worried about you, Jace-chan." Alex sat up, cringing a little from the wound on his back.

"Well stop worrying about me, Princey-boy and get some medical attention would ya. I'm fine." Jace gave a playful hit to Alex's shoulder.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Palatino Linotype]"Hey Mom." Drew said into the telephone.
"Drew, sweetie, are you okay?" Another voice called out to him. "Jake told me what happened."
"Yeah Mom, I'm fine." Drew replied as he took off his tie and shirt to cover a few small wounds. "There was a fire, but everyone's fine."
"Were you hurt badly?"
"No." Drew answered as he opened the alcohol bottle and grabbed some gauze. "Just a few scrapes. I went back inside to save a friend of mine, but I'm alright."

Drew had gone home by himself before the principal made that announcement. He snuck away from Kyo, Amy, and Micky during the commotion. Drew was always like that, he didn't want anyone else to worry about him. That's why Drew really left, but he knew that his drinking didn't help. Jake, his little brother, was the one who worried the most.

"Mom, I have to go." Drew replied.
"No, please, talk to me." She began to cry. "You've never opened up to me, Andrew."
"Really, I have to go. I have to check on Micky and Amy." He lied.
"Andrew Jinsei Takeda! You promise me you'll be careful." His mother called him by his full name.
"Yeah Mom." Drew replied before hanging up.

"I just hope everyone else is okay." He sighed and put his face in his hands.

Drew took care of the small wounds by wrapping them up and bandaging them. Afterward, he decided to take a walk, so he grabbed his MP3 player, a present from his little brother. He proceeded to get dressed in a black T-shirt, a pair of jeans, and some Nike sandals.

Before leaving, Drew grabbed his soccer ball and decided that he would dribble it around town for a while since there wouldn't be any practice today...[/FONT][/COLOR]

Ken walked over to his bike. He saw that Aka?s was gone and shook his head. He?d thought about going to the hospital with Kaela, but he wanted to be home in case Aka needed to get a hold of him. [I]She was off dealing with gang buisness no doubt. [/I] Maria was leaning against his bike.

He just grinned and drove back to the apartment.

Ken dialed Zeph but didn't get an answr. He left a messege and hung up the phone, falling onto the couch. Maria stuck in a movie and sat with him

[SIZE=1][COLOR=DarkOrchid]Ran had pulled out two students. He didn?t know who they where, but he couldn?t leave them there. He would have gone back to help some more but some particles fell in his eye and he couldn?t see to well. He wouldn?t let anyone know that though. He could see it was just blurry.

As they announced that you could go home he thought about what he should do. He didn?t want to go home. His Mom would put him to work as soon as he entered the house. No he didn?t want to go home.
He gave his head a scratch. Well he did have a lunch. He could go to the park for a while.

Half way to the park his vision returned fully. ?That?s better.? He mumbled to himself. Ran made his way into the park and sat down under a tree. He looked on into a play set where younger children where running around and playing. It almost made him want to join in.

Ran rested his head back and looked up into the sky. Out of nowhere a ball hit him in the head. He was going to yell, but he seen it was just some kids.

?Kick it here mister.? Ran stood up and kicked the ball. The kids where overjoyed. Before Ran knew he was playing with the kids. He laughed and joked around as he played their little game.
