Ran didn't know how he was staying so calm right now. He was so close to Drew. He was sure he couldn't remain this calm much longer sitting this close to him. He made a coughing sound to break the silences. "I will clean up the glass. I don't want you to get hurt anymore.'

"No you don't need to." Drew swayed a bit and almost feels over.

Ran caught him. "I think you should lay down." without much protest from Drew, Ran laid Drew down on his bed. He brought up the covers. "Now stay." Ran joked around.

He bent down and started to pick up the larger bits of shards of glass and placed them in the garbage can. Ran made his way to the bathroom to get a towel to soak up the alcohol. When he came back out he looked at Drew. By this time he was sound asleep. Ran smiled and walked over to him.

Ran bent down over Drew at looked at his face. He looked innocent sleeping there. Nervously Ran brushed a few strands of Drew's hair. Drew shuffled and Ran pulled his hand back quickly. He was afraid that he would wake Drew. He sighed in relief that he didn't wake him. With a blush on his face he went back to cleaning the place.

Ran quickly got the job done. It still smells bad in there, but there was nothing he could do about that. He was afraid Drew would catch a cold if he left the window open. He looked at Drew who was sleeping and smiled. As long as he could be his friend he would be okay. Just being that close to him made him happy.

He looked at the yellow envelope on the floor and cursed. He had forgotten all about. He grabbed it up and left the place. Should have left a note for him. He will be okay though. He walked down the street in a quick pace. He was too tired to run.

It took an hour before he got back home. He was exhausted and just wanted to get back to bed. His Mom poked her head out of the kitchen. "Maru? What took you so long." She sniffed the air. "Why do you smell like booze."

Ran sniffed his shirt. It was true he did. "Sorry. One of my friends ran into a problem and was hurt. I was taking care of him." Than he remembers he should explain about the smell. "And at his house there was a broken wine cooler. I cleaned it up so he wouldn't get hurt." His Mom really didn't believe he could tell, but she didn't push it.

"You got a letter from school. I left it on your desk."

"Thank Mom. I am going to bed now. I will see you in the morning." She went upstairs into his room. He threw his cloths off and slipped into some new pants. He would grab a shower in a bit. First he should read the letter. He sighed and sat down at his desk and went through his mail.

Ran came to the letter from school. He took his letter opener, it was shaped like a katane. His Mother baught it for him three years ago because she said it was cute. He scanned throught he letter and arched his eyebrow. o make sure he read it correctly he scanned through again. His eyebrow arched again. Now this was a surprise. He folded the letter up and placed it on his desk. With that he flung himslef into bed.

Jace grabbed his chest, a small ache stabbing him repeatedly. Alex throwing him on the bed really hadn't helped his injuries much and his shoulder was starting to bother him again. He looked the letter over and rolled his eyes.

"God damn it." Jace cursed as he folded the letter back up and slammed it back onto the bench. "Why the hell do we have to do this? And now of all times."

Jace grumbled for a bit about the letter before realizing Alex had left yet again. Jace swirled around and put his left fist through some of the plaster of the wall. He pulled it back out, a small amount of blood starting to trickle over his knuckles. He grabbed a hold of his sling and ripped it from his body. His arm hung slightly ackwardly at his side as he stormed back to his room.

He pulled a white shirt over his head, a small twinge from his shoulder as he reached for his jean jacket. He pulled the collar up to his neck as he left the front unbottoned, is rippling body slightly exposed by his white shirt. He grabbed his house keys from his dresser and stormed out of the apartment, locking it behind him.

"Oh, Jacey." A familiar female voice rang up the flat stairs.

Jace kept a straight and firm face as Kitoyama-san came into view. She smiled brightly as she always did, her well weathered face creased with dimples of joy. Jace grit his teeth as she reached out to take a hold of his right forearm. Jace pulled violently away as he continued to make his way down the stairs. Kitoyama didn't even try to stop him as she watched him.

He bursted out onto the street and started walking down the side walk before he knew it he was running, his chest heaving with pain. He didn't care, he just kept running. He passed people on the street without even noticing them. The flood of memories washing over him was all he could see. He ran harder and harder forcing himself to be over come with fatigue.

Jace found himself at the soccer field behind the school. It was as good a place as any to rest. It was away from people, the noise and most importantly away from the memories.

Kaela moaned in her sleep, tossing and turning. She gasped, shooting awake as she jarred her leg. Images from her nightmare flew across in front of her eyes, and she swallowed. A hand on her arm told her she wasn?t alone. Looking up, she looked right into Zeph?s eyes, and her heart skipped a beat. She croaked out, ?Z-zeph? What are you doing here??

Zeph helped her sit up, a frown creasing his brow. ?I was worried about you, Kaela-kun. I had to come see how you were.?

Kaela fought to keep down a blush and mumbled thanks.

~*~

Kaela had been allowed to go home, and was now sitting alone on her bed in the middle of her room, staring down at her comforter. A knock on her door and she raised her head. ?Come in,? she said quietly. Her mother came in, and placed a plate of cookies and a glass of milk on her table.

Coming over, her mom kissed her forehead, and ruffled her hair with a smile. ?Feel better, Kaela-chan.? Then she left. Kaela ate a cookie, downed the milk, and then noticed a letter on her bedside table. Opening it slowly, she read through it before tossing it onto her desk

She then sat back down on her bed, gazing up at the ceiling. Kaela was silent, and then began singing quietly a song that played over and over in her head.

Playground
School bells
Ring
Again?

Rainclouds
Come to
Play
Again?

Has no one told you
She?s not breathing
Hello
I?m your mind
Giving you someone to talk to?
Hello?

With a scream of frustration, she whirled, slamming her fists into the pillow, and she collapsed into restless sobs.

After the scream from his sister, Micky turned to walk home.

Oh gezz, I was gonna let her go. Ugh...I'll just leave her then. If she needs me then she'll just call me right?

Micky let out a sigh and spit the toothpick out of his mouth. He shove his hands in his pockets and walked home...alone. He looked up and it was peaceful. It was such a great day. The moon was shining bright and the stars were glinting. He daydreamed all the way back home.

He walked his way through the front, "I'm home!"

"Ahnyoung! I mean Konichiwa! Where's Amy?"

"She went out remember?"

"Oh yes. With that lovely boy...uhh Kyo! That's it!"

"Yeah..."

"You got mail dear.." His mother handed him an envelope.

He took it, said thanks, and rushed upstairs. He sighed heavily and laid down on his bed. He looked at the envelope and wonder what was inside it.

Zephan had stayed with Kaela until she was allowed to leave the hospital. They talked in a friendly way but he couldn't understand why she kept blushing (he's dense).

When the girl had been discharged it was already night and wasn't safe so he offered to walk her home. She accepted shyly and Zeph walked beside her all the way to her house, which was a distance from his own.

When they arrived there, Kaela thanked him, apologising for the inconvenience. Zeph brushed it off with a smile, telling her he was happy to do it. They said goodbye and Kaela walked into her house. He made sure she was inside before turning and walking toward his own house which was quite far.

Zeph sighed and put his hands in the pockets of his jacket, feeling his phone. He pulled it out and turned it back on. He had had to turn it off when entering the hospital. There was a message left for him which was about a movie night thing. Zeph deleted it, it was too late now anyway, but he called to tell them that he had been at the hospital and apologised. Zeph closed his phone and put it back into his pocket, putting his Mp3 earphones in he turned it on, walking all the way home, scuffing his feet on the footpaths as he went.

When Zephan arrived home he was greeted by his mother, telling him that a letter had arrived. He was given the white envelope and went up to his room. It was left forgotten as Zephan remenisced the day that had passed. It felt so strange, he didn't have any work to do as it had been caught in the fire like everything else.

Zephan remembered the letter eventually and pulled his thin knife out of the drawer at his table, it was for protection and whatever else he wanted to use it for. He slid it into the gap between the flap and the rest of the envelope, slicing away the top. He put the knife back into the drawer and pulled out the piece of paper. He unfolded it and his eyes scanned the piece of paper, reading it carefully.

OOC: Reiku, I know you said that you'd start it, but I'm bored and no one has posted in a while.

IC: Kina, Alex, and Tina all got inside the car. They were going on their way to pick up Tina's boyfriend for the movies. There was nothing really wrong with Brent, she just didn't like the fact that she had to give up her sister to him. Kina was silent in the car ride. She didn't know what to say to Alex and she wasn't sure what movie they were going to go see. Kina trailed off in thought, looking at the stars. For some reason, she started to think about Rin. She remembered that Rin had saved her life. Suddenly, Kina had a rush of guilt flow through her. She was so selfish about her and trying to go out with Alex. She didn't even thank Rin, see what she was doing, or offered the movie to her. Now that she started to think about it, Kina didn't even think about Rin. She just thought about Alex. She couldn't help but feel totally guilty. In fact, she was going to regret this later, but she knew that Rin was probably thinking how Kina wasn't being much of a friend. She tried to put on her best act for this.
"OW!"
"Kina, what's wrong."
"It's my leg. It just started to hurt real bad."
"Are you moving it?"
"No, I can't explain what is happening, it's just hurting really bad. I think I might need to ice it."
"Are you saying you don't want to go to the movies, sis?"
"The pain is too much. I'm sorry Alex. Talk about bad timing, huh?"
"It's alright Kina. Your well-being is better then some movie."
"I guess so." Kina grabbed a hold of her leg, making it look like she was in terrible pain. Tina knew they weren't going to the movies. Tina asked Alex,"Well, Alex, since we're not going to the movies, you want us to take you back to you appartment?"
"I'm sure that you don't want to watch me ice my leg. It's up to you though. If you still want to do something, we could just watch a movie at me house." Kina felt that she had to do this, since it was a little late to be bringing it up. It was a matter of what Alex chose. She was sure that neither of the two caught on to her act.

OOC: Alright Reiku. It's your choice. Don't make your character feel obligated to do anything. Let him do what he wants to do. I can deal with either choice. If Alex goes home, then Kina will hang with Rin, if he goes to Kina's house, then they still have a date. Sorry if this messed up anything, but felt I had to do it.

Kyo slowly walked down to darkened city streets after leaving the resterant. I still haven't heard from mom or dad yet, he thought as he pulled his cell out of his pocket to check his messages. No voice mail, missed calls or messages of any kind. Kyo put his phone away, dissapointed. "I don't know why I bother checking, they never call." Just once, especially concerning the events that had transgressed that day, he wanted his parents to act a bit more like normal parents.

He desided to take a walk through the park, both as a short cut home, and to clear his head. Kyo turned the corner to see Amy sitting on one of the park benches all alone, playing her violin. The music was so sweet yet so sorrowful. Kyo just stood there entranced by the ballad, listening to her play.

As Amy concluded her song, she finally looked up and noticed Kyo standing there. "K-kyo!" she stammed out in shock and embrassment of having an audience. "H-how long were you standing there?"

"Oh, not very long," he said smiling and walking over to the bench. "Mind if I sit down?"

"Oh, no. Go ahead," answered Amy nervously moving her violin case to make room.

"Thanks," Kyo sat down next to her. "You play really well,"

"Uh... Thank you," Amy blushed a little at the complement. Kyo then began gazing up at the stars, trying to clear his head. It had simply become too stressful to think about everything anymore. Amy, meanwhile, just sat there looking at Kyo. He was completely dense for choosing that place and time to space out, but she didn't care.

After several minutes of akward silence, however, Amy desided to restart the conversation. "I would have thought you would have gone home by now,"

Kyo jurked his head up and looked at Amy, surprised by the sudden bout of talking. "Well, there's really no point for me to rush home to an empty apartment. My parents usually work late, and I only see them in the mornings before school." Kyo's eyes were down cast as he said all of this. He then turned back to Amy. "What about you? Weren't you walking home with your brother earlier?"

Amy looked away and was silent for a moment. "Yes, well... I desided to stay around here for a little while, and... Mickey needed to get home... and, uh..." she trailed off. Kyo could tell from her tone she didn't want to talk about it, so he dropped the subject.

After a few more minutes of quiet, Kyo broke the silence. "It's getting pretty late." He stood up and stretched. "How about I walk you home?" He said turning to Amy.

Amy nodded and stood up, putting her violin back in its case. They were silent most of the way there. Kyo could help but feel something was wrong with Amy; he wanted to ask so he could help her, but finally gave up when they reached Amy's apartment.

"Well, thank you, Kyo," said Amy, bowing slightly.

"Hey, no problem. Now you just get some sleep; we've all had a long day." He turned to leave, "I'll see you later."

"Good night, Kyo. And thank you again."
*~*
When Kyo finally got back home, he noticed a letter from school in the mail slot. He walked in and took his shoes off at the door, and played the messages from the answering machine: "Kyo, sweetie, work is running a little later than usual. Dinner is in the freezer, just warm it in the oven for 30 minutes. Love you."

Kyo just sighed and walked to his room with the letter still in his hand. He tossed it along with his bag back onto his desk and went to take a quick shower. After he had come out, he grabbed the letter and sat down on his bed, wearing just a pair of boxers and a towel draped over his wet hair.

Kyo ripped open the envelope and read it over. He raised an eyebrow, but then sighed again as he flung the letter back towards his desk. "Great! Now I'll never get to sleep." He fell back onto his bed and shut his eyes. He didn't bother getting up to turn out the lights or to pull the bed covers over him, but before long, he had fallen asleep; so much for not being able to sleep.

Amy walked up the steps and into her house. She paused slightly as she placed her hand on top of the knob, then she slightly opened the door and slid in. She placed her violin near the door and walked toward the living room and sat down on the sofa, her hand went to get the remote until something white caught her eye. She picked up the letter that was entitled ?Important?, she slowly opened it and read the letter slowly. Her jaw slightly dropped in shock as she read the last sentence of the letter.

She placed the letter down on the table in front of her still in shock. The letter was truly confusing but she chose to not read it again. Amy took in a big sigh and decided to take a shower, she walked up the stairs and entered the bathroom. She turned on the shower and used one hand to measure the temperature and used the other to adjust the temperature.

She undressed and got into the shower; she lathered her hair with a scented shampoo and washed it out. She hummed quietly to herself as she washed the rest of her body. As she got out the tub she wrapped herself in a towel and walked across the hall to her bedroom. There she got into a shirt which was quite big and some silk pants that were tied down one side of the leg. She jogged down the stairs and turned on the t.v.

She grew tired and lied on the sofa and closed her eyes. She quickly fell asleep and awaited the next day that was sure to hold many more things to come by.

Micky was in his room on the computer, chatting. He had just said goodbye online with his friend. He yawned couple of times and decided to get a snack. He came downstairs and saw Amy. He passed her and made a sandwich and went back upstairs. He left his food upstairs and came back down to retrieve Amy who was peacefully sleeping on the couch. He picked her up and she squirmed a little and fell comfortably in Micky's arms.

Ughh...the things that brother's do for their sisters.

He took her upstairs and into her room. The door said Amy with nice cursive writing on it and Micky opened the door. He laid her down on the bed and tucked her in. She snuggled under her blanket and smiled. He looked at her for awhile and left. He went back downstairs and turned off the T.V., took Amy's violin case and put it in her room, and lastly went to his room and finished his sandwich. After that, he fell asleep and dreamed.

OOC: Well, no one's touched this in a couple days, so...I'll get my post out of the way.

IC:

Drew woke up shortly after midnight, his head throbbing with a pain, and his mind trying it's hardest to remember how he had gotten home and tucked in so comfortably. Flashes of his friend, Ranmaru, had come to him. "Oh yeah..." He mumbled to himself.

Ran had found him in the streets and brought him home. He even helped him with the wounds he had by bandaging them and cleaning up his living room.

It was just too bad that Drew remembered the wounds a little too late, for he moaned in pain after moving his left arm in a fast motion. "Shit..." He hissed.

Drew got up slowly from the couch and staggered into the bathroom. After coming out, he walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water and some painkillers. As he chugged the glass, he looked down on the floor to see the mail slot, which had been ignored the entire day.

There was the occasional letter from home, and another envelope that Drew didn't recognize. He set the glass down and walked over to the mail slot. After putting aside the letter from his brother, he gazed at the foreign envelope and opened it.

Reading it once or twice, carefully, Drew shrugged and sighed. He was still very tired. "So, they've decided to do this, huh?"

OOC: Sorry for my absence everyone. Things will get back on track now! ^_^

----------------------------------------------
Alex smiled.

" I think I have some things to sort out with Jace-chan. I'm sorry Kina. We'll go out to the movies when your leg gets better yes?"

Kina nodded. " Ok. Do you want to drop you off at your apartment then?"

" If it wouldn't be too much to ask."

" No problem," Tina replied. The car swung around and in a matter of minutes, Alex was waving them goodbye on the path in front of his apartment building. He watched them disappear into the darkness of the city. Turning, Alex trudged upstairs. A smile came to his face when he remembered Kina scolding him for the injury to his back. He felt a little sad for her though. He could see that she had feelings for him, but he just couldn't return them, no matter how hard he tried. It was the same for all his fangirls. He felt sorry for them all.

Finally Alex came to his door and tried to open it. It was locked.
" It's locked? Why is it locked?"
Alex fumbled out with his keys and opened the door. He switched the lights on to see a hole in the plaster wall.

" Jace..."

Before thinking, Alex walked to the laundry to get the toolkit and a cover. He walked back to the hole and plastered it back up. Alex had become a master at the cover-up job since they had moved into this apartment. The walls were flimsy, and sometimes the boys' spars got a little out of hand and knocked a few holes in the walls.

After plastering it back up, Alex noticed that Jace had read the letter because it was out of the envelope on the kitchen bench. Putting the toolkit and cover away, Alex walked over to the letter and read it over again. It said:

To Alex and Jace,

Since the repairs on the school will be taking up a week and your year took the heaviest hit from the accident, your year co-ordinators and principal have organised a week's holiday to the Xi-Lien Islands in the South China Sea. Hopefully everyone's injuries will be helped by the warm weather and the rest.

The school has paid for the trip for everyone in your grade. Everyone in your grade has been informed. Pack your belongings as you will be leaving tomorrow. Excuse the short notice. Everyone will receive a survival kit as well.

School Principal
Mr Takeshi Yami

Alex sighed. Talk about short notice, but at least the warm climate will relieve the pain of injuries, both emotional and physical. He then noticed that he couldn't hear Jace inside the apartment. Normally he could hear the moving of his bedsheets as he rolled around, sleeping, but tonight, there was nothing.

Dropping the letter onto the bench, Alex walked out the apartment door to see Kitoyama-san hobbling up the stairs.

" You shouldn't be walking those stairs," Alex said, concerned.
" You should be more concerned about Jace. He left about 10 minutes ago," Kitoyama said before hobbling back down the stairs and back into her apartment.

Alex knew exactly where Jace had gone.

--------------------------------------

Walking along in the dark, Alex finally arrived at the soccer field behind their school. In the distance, he saw a figure sitting on one of the seats on the side of the field. It was hunched over, as if looking at the ground. Alex could tell that it was Jace. He walked over there coolly, hands in pockets.

Jace, hearing footsteps approach, jumped up. He slightly relaxed when he saw Alex's face appear out of the darkness.
" What do you want?" he sneered.
" You should be at home, resting. Especially since we have a trip tomorrow," Alex said coolly, his hands in his pockets, relaxed.
" You can't tell me what to do Princey-boy!" Jace roared at Alex.
" No, but I can advise you on your well-being."
" You irriate me."
" I'm supposed to."
" Heh." Jace smiled. He didn't expect that to come from Alex.

" You running away again?" Alex said, looking Jace square in the eyes. " You know, you can't run from them forever. You have to confront those issues of the past, whether now, or later. I'm always here, as I've always been. Those memories might haunt you, but remember, they're just memories. They aren't what's here and now. If you forget that, then what's the use of you."

_____________________________________________________________________

OOC: Ah hah. Finally. Now everyone knows the contents of the letter now.

Everyone read the notice in the Underground thread please!! I will explaining who needs to post what next!! Thanks.

OOC: I know that we are supposed to pack our things. But this is still during the night.

IC: Kina felt sorry for having to ditch Alex on the date, but she thought that her best friend should come first. Kina decided to tell Tina what she was planning. "Take me to Rin's house."
"But I thought your leg was hurting?"
"Well, that's just what I needed to use as an excuse so I could check up and see how Rin was doing. I didn't even thank her for saving me, so, I decided to just cancel the date with Alex and needed to make it up to Rin."
"Well, I'm glad that you finally made the right choice, but you have to relize that I'm kinda getting tired of taking you around the city. I'm not a taxi you know."
"I know and I'm sorry. I just feel I need to make it up to Rin." They started to head to where Rin lived and Kina tried to walk up as best as she could. She rang the doorbell and Rin answered with a disturbed look. Rin's eyes were puffy and Kina could tell that she had been crying recently.
"Hey Rin. What's going on?"
"Well, not much."
"I thought that I ought to come and see how you are doing. Did you get hurt at all trying to save me?"
"No, not really."
"I'm glad." They waited in silence for a moment. "Rin, I'm sorry. I never thanked you for saving me. You saved my life, so thank you." She could tell that Rin had tears build up in her and then she just burst out and hugged Kina. Rin let go and Kina smiled at her. "So, do you think we could, you know, have a sleep-over?" They waited there for the other to answer.

OOC: OK, Kitty, if your character says yes, make sure that Kina is informed about the vacation, so something can happen on how she packs. I was planning on her calling her sister and her sister would just drop off the clothes for her, before Tina left for work. If she says no, then yeah, whatever will just happen.

OOC: I'm really tired, but if I don't do this now, I'm never gonna get to it.

IC:

Drew awoke late the next morning and rewrapped his wounds. After rereading the letter from school, Drew threw a bunch of clothes together with his MP3 Player and some other "necessities" and stuffed it all in his only suitcase. He got dressed in a pair of cargo khaki pants and a black tanktop, and slipped on a pair of black leather sandals to finish it off.
"I want to open this letter, but I'm afraid that if I do, I may not want to go on the trip." Drew said to himself as he looked down at the letter simply marked: Brother.
"But if I don't, it may ruin the time I may have to recover."

He sighed and sat down on his couch/bed. The letter on the coffee table in front of him.

BRRRRIIINNNNGGGG!

The phone startled Drew and he got up to see who it was. "Hello?"
"Drew? Hey, it's Amy. Did you get your letter?"
"Yeah, I've just finished packing my stuff. Why?"
"Well, Micky and I were going to get a ride to the airport soon. Did you want to go with us?"
"Sure, that'd be great." Drew smiled.
"Really? Okay then." Amy paused. "We'll be there to pick you up in a while."
"Okay, thanks Amy." Drew replied.
"Bye!"
"Bye."

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted. This is from the night before, where I left off.

Zephan stared at the letter in shock and fell back onto his bed in disbelief. He bit his lip, he didn't want to leave his mother alone, they only had each other. He stood and jogged downstairs lightly.

"Okaasan?!" he called.

"Hai!" she called from one of the rooms.

Zephan followed from where the voice had come from and found his mother folding clothes. He came over and sat himself next to her. She saw his face and set the clothes she had aside, turning her attention to Zephan.

"Zeph-chan, daijoubu?" she asked, concern evident on her facial expression.

Zephan handed the letter to his mother and focussed on a mark on the floor.

"This is good news, Zeph-chan! Why are you so sad?" his mother asked him.

"I don't want to leave you alone. We only have each other now..." he said.

"Aiyah! It's only for a week! Go, enjoy yourself and spend time with your friends. I'll be fine." she argued.

"Yakusoku?" he asked, looking her in the eyes.

His mother smiled, "Yakusokuyo."

"Fine, I'll go pack then." Zeph said, standing.

Zephan's mother stood and hugged him tightly, then pressed a pile of clothes into his hands.

"You may need some of these clothes when you go."

"Arigatou, 'Kaasan."

Zephan ran back upstairs and pulled out his luggage bag from under his bed. He raced around the room, gathering anything he would need or was important to him. When he was done he took the bag downstairs and put it near the door, along with a backpack that had some of his everyday stuff in it.

Then he went back upstairs and went to sleep, wondering what their trip would bring them.

"You keep givin me your speeches, Princey-boy. 'Cause they go in one ear and right out the other." Jace pointed to his head and then the other side as he jumped down off the stands. A slight twinge of pain rushed around his chest, but he ignored it.

"You can't keep running away, Jace-chan." Alex turned to follow Jace.

Jace swirled around, catching Alex by surprise as he grabbed a hold of his flatmate's collar. "Stop preachin to me, Alex. I'm not here to be your pet."

"Let go." Alex said calmly.

"I love it!" Jace bellowed as he shoved Alex away from him. "I love how you always stay so damn calm. You and your perfect manners." Jace started walking across the field, heading back to the flat.

"You can't keep running, Jace-chan. Its not going to help you." Alex called after him.

Jace grit his teeth, swirled around and rushed at Alex. The badboy managed to land a forceful punch onto Alex's right cheek before the Prince could react. Alex shoved Jace away in an attempt to keep the fight from occuring, but Jace just wouldn't take the hint.

Jace threw a left and then a right. Alex manage to block them both and thank the stars above that Jace was too angry to actually use his best features, his legs. Jace managed to get one more hit in before Alex knocked him to the ground. The dark haired boy was never much of a fighter when he was upset.

"Jace, just stop." Alex said as Jace crawled to his feet, the pain in his chest nearly unbearable.

Jace wiped the small blood trickling from his lips and smiled in that "only Jace-chan kind of way". Alex's brows were creased with concern as Jace straightened himself up.

"You gotta heavy right there Princey-boy." Jace said smiling, some blood splattered across his teeth. Jace walked up to Alex and stared into the heavenly eyes of his flatmate and best friend. Before Alex could say anything, Jace shoved his mouth onto his and gave the Prince a very heavy kiss.

Jace pulled away just a suddenly as he had done it. The badboy smiled as Alex stared at him with complete bewildermeant. "How's the blood taste, Princey boy?" Jace chuckled.

Alex realized the salty liquid on his tongue and began to spit it back out, wipping his mouth fierciously.

"You didn't think I was trying to kiss ya for the fun of it, did you?" Jace cocked an eye brow as Alex looked up at him.

"No," Alex replied shortly.

"Ok," Jace chuckled again. "Let's get cleaned up." Jace wrapped his arm around Alex's neck as he started to drag him back towards the flat.

Ran laid sprawled out on his futon, head hitting the floor. The sunlight throw his window pierced his eye. His hand searched for his blanket, but couldn?t find it. With a yawn he sat up and scratched his head making his already bed head hair messier. With a glance around the room he looked for his alarm clock, but couldn?t find, he just shrugged without a car.

Ran got up and grabbed a towel and a pair of jean out of his clean pile of clothing. Down the hall he knocked on the bathroom door. No one was in so he went ahead in. He took a quick bath and brushed his teeth. While he was in the bathroom he gathered his toothbrush and eye drops from the bathroom.

With the two items he made his way back into his room. He scrounged around and put on a light brown tight T-shirt. He went to his closet and grabbed duffel bad where he began plopping everything he would need for his trip in it. It was jammed packed by the time he was finished. He glanced around his room once more to look it over if needed anything else. He didn?t. He walked over to his desk and grabbed the letter and eye patch. He shoved the letter in his pocket.

Ran made his way down stair with his bag in hand and looked about. It seemed like everyone else was still asleep. He began to scribble a not for his parent when he heard an awful noise come from the TV room. He darted there think it was a bugler. As he slid the door open he found his Mom sitting on the floor watching cartoons eating a bowl of cereal. Ran shook his head. His Mom heard the door open and looked at him. ?Morning Maru.? She said through he spoon.

?Morning Mom.? Now at least he could tell them in person he would be gone for a week. ?Mom I am going on a class trip so I will be back in a weak.?

?Okay dear, have a good time. Don?t forget to bring me back something.? He shook his head. Aren?t your parent?s supposing to worry or something. Oh well I guess that what happens when you have pretty much laid back parents.

Ran had taken a taxi to the airport and got out. He noticed a couple other students from his grade there as well, either getting out of car or saying good bye to their families. As they entered the place they where told to go and wait in a suite. Ran took a seat inside the place and looked out one of the windows. He hoped that Drew was okay after last night, maybe he should have stopped by before coming here.

OOC: Gah.. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. x3 I'll have a bit of the previous night, and then Rin and Kina's arrival at the airport.
--

Kina stood quietly on her doorstep as Rin contemplated. Normally, she wouldn't have hesitated, but would have happily accepted and dragged her friend inside. But now she did, only because she was still a bit upset of her having forgotten her. But she was here now, wasn't she?

"Alright. Come in. My dad should be back late this night, anyway," Rin smiled, stepping aside to allow Kina in.

"Let me call Tina, alright?"

"Yup. You know where the phone is," Rin smiled. While Kina called her sister, Rin rushed upstairs to tidy up her room a bit. She made her bed, placed her bookbag in her desk chair, and flipped her pillow over so that the wet spots weren't visible.

"Rin?" Kina called from below, having finished her call. "Up here," Rin shouted back, noticing her letter.

When Kina reached her room, Rin was gaping at a piece of paper in her hands. "What is it?" she asked in a worried tone. "This letter.. Read it.."

Kina's eyes scanned the paper, and her jaw, too, dropped when she finished reading it. "Are they serious? .. Wait! I got one, too. Tina said there was a letter for me back at home."

"Well.. if we're going, we'll need to back. Call Tina back and have her bring over more things," Rin suggested. "Heh. She's going to get mad at me for this," Kina laughed.

--

"There it is dad," Rin pointed out the window, spotting where the students were to meet.

"Thanks for the ride Mr. Himotaka," Kina said politely as she exited the car. "No problem Kina. You two have fun," he smiled. Rin got their bags out of the trunk before he left, and they waved as he drove off.

"Here," Rin said, handing Kina her bags, "You carry yours. They're really heavy you know that?" Kira grinned, but took her bags and walked toward the other students with Rin anyway.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

Kyo groggily reached one hand from benith the covers and fumbled around for his alarm clock. After several failed attempts, he sat up and grabbed his clock. That?s right I didn?t set it last night, he thought as he looked over at his ringing phone and picked it up. ?Uh? Hello??

"Kyo?!" the sudden volume of the high piched voice caught him by surprise.

"Huh... Amy, is that you?" answered Kyo, still sounding half asleep.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

"No, that's alright, I was planning to get up soon anyways."

"Well, did you get that letter from school?"

"Huh, wha... oh yeah," Kyo suddenly remembering, stumpled over from his bed and picked up the letter lying on his desk.

"Well, I was wandering if we could give you a ride to the airport."

"Um, uh..." Kyo hesitated for a moment. He had spend a good portion of last night thinking about her; it felt weird, almost forgien to him. "Uh, thanks, but no thanks. I'll just take a cab, besides, I don't think I'm on your brother's good side right now. I'll see you at the airport, bye." He hung up before Amy could respond. He just needed a while to himself to get his thoughts and feelings together before he could really talk to her again.

Wait, thought Kyo suddenly reliezing something was out of place. "I don't remember putting my cloths away or pulling the sheets over me last night."

"Kyo, sweetie, are you awake?" called his mom from the hall in a unusually careing and conserned tone. She opened the door, carrying a tray of food.

"Gah! Mom! Knock please!" Kyo was still only wearing a pair of boxers.

"Oh, don't be like that," she glanced down at the letter in his hand. He noticed and handed it to her, taking the tray off her hands.

"This sounds wonderful, sweetie. Now you just eat and get dressed, I'll get your things packed and when your ready, I'll drive you to the airport."

"Um.. okay," Kyo figured his mom had found out about what happened at school yesterday and was being extra nice out of consern and guilt, but he didn't care, it was a nice change of pace from the normal morning lecture.

After about half an hour, Kyo loaded his bag into the family car, and his mom drove off. There was an akward silence in the car a good portion of the way there. "Um.. don't you and dad have work today?" asked Kyo breaking the silence.

"Oh, don't worry about that," was all she responded with.

They pulled up to the carpool loading area outside the airport entrance way. "Thanks for the ride, mom. I'll see you in a week. Love you."

"Kyo you take care of yourself!" she called after him. He waved good bye as he made his way to where the others were.

Back at the apartment, Alex cleaned up Jace a bit roughly. Too many thoughts were running through his head to be concentrating solely on doing one thing.

" Oi! Watch it Alex! That hurt!" Jace yelped.
Alex didn't say a thing but kept dabbing a sterilising liquid onto Jace's cuts, this time more carefully.
Jace watched him curiously. Usually when Alex went silent, he was angry.

" What's up Princey-boy? You mad or something?" Jace asked.
Alex shook his head as he packed away everything. " Just thinking about some things. Nothing of importance."
" I hate when you use big words."
Alex smiled. It confused Jace enough to get him off his case.

" I think that's all Jace-chan. Have shower to wash that dry blood off and then go to bed," Alex said.
" Sometimes you sound like my mother," Jace retorted, pulling his shirt back over his torso.
" I'm just trying to help you."
" Yeah yeah."

Jace walked to the bathroom to do what Alex told him too. Alex made his way to the kitchen, taking out a bottle of water from the fridge. He opened it and took a gulp. His mind was so cluttered with thoughts, he couldn't differ from one to another.

Hearing the shower turn off, Alex made sure Jace was in his room before heading for the shower. He turned on the shower after stripping off and let the warm water run over his body. He winced slightly as the wound on his back stung a little. His silvery-blue hair stuck to his face as he leant against the shower wall, thoughts running through his head.

Why did Jace do that? Why did he kiss me? Isn't that wrong? Two guys kissing?

Memories from his childhood ran through his mind. His mother telling him that love was only between a man and a woman. How society sees women together and men together as wrong. That when he grew up, he should find a woman he should love and get married with.

Alex shookhis head, trying to get those memories to fade away.

It's so confusing. Why? Why did he have to do that?

Alex slammed his fist into the wall. He was so confused.

Dammit. He was just messing around with me... messing with my feelings.... damn him.

Turning off the water, Alex stepped out of the shower and dried himself off. He walked to his room with the towel wrapped around his waist. Putting on his boxers, he slid into his bed with more confusing thoughts entering his head.

Sighing, Kaela looked down at her near-full suitcase and slowly put the last piece of clothing in it. Closing the case with a snap, she sat down on her bed, and looked around her room. Finally, she picked up the phone at her bedside and dialed a number. Putting the phone to her ear, her breath caught as she heard a click on the other end.

?Moshi moshi??

Kaela?s breath caught and she said, ?Ohiyo, Zephan-san.?

The tone on the other end relaxed. ?Oh, hey, Kaela. You feeling any better??

?Yes. Um.. thank you for coming to see me at the hospital, Zeph.?

?It was nothing, Kaela.? His gentle tone made her blush. She stammered a reply.

?Still, thank you. Um I need to go, have to get to the airport.? Hanging up, Kaela stood and slipped her shoes on, grabbed her suitcase, and headed downstairs. Her father gave her a ride to the airport where she milled around with everyone else shyly.

OOC: I have to apologize for my absence. >.< I have been slightly off track, and RL has been getting to me. I will try to keep up better.

Amy was in the passenger seat of the car as they drove to pick up Drew. Mickey looked at Amy for a quick second then back at the road. ?Something wrong?? he asked in a curious voice. Amy looked over to him and shook her head, ?No?not really?? she returned her gaze outside the window once more. She wondered why Kyo was acting so distant, it didn?t seem like him at all. Amy was stopped when the car came to a halt, Drew was already jogging down the stairs with his bags. Amy pulled the trunk button and Drew threw his bags in and hopped into the back seat. ?Yo what?s up cousins!? Amy smiled ?All right I guess?? Drew shot a quick glance at Mickey and then back at Amy.

The car started up and drove out the driveway and out onto the road. The drive to the airport seemed tedious and silent. No one seemed to be talking, all three were thinking to themselves.

?Ok I seriously need to break this silence? blurted out Drew. Amy turned around ?Let?s play a game!? Drew agreed, ?Truth or Dare?? Amy thought for a quick second, ?Truth.? Drew smiled wickedly ?Do you have a crush on Kyo?? Amy blushed, soon the car filled with laughter.

The approached the airport and parked slowly. Amy took in a big sigh, ?This is going too smoothly. Too smooth??

Drew had run down the stairs so quickly that he was sore on the way to the airport, but he wanted to make sure the Micky and Amy weren't waiting for him and suspecting something. He had decided not to tell them about what had happened last night, since he didn't like them to worry.

To hide the bandages, Drew had thrown on a grey sweatshirt over his black tanktop. So far, Ranmaru was the only one that knew of the incident, but Drew wasn't sure how much longer that would last. He knew that he was going to have to wear short sleeves all of this vacation.

But this was the least of Drew's worries. While he held such a straight face and joked around with Amy, he still had something to worry about.

The letter from his brother Jake.

It was tucked inside his carry on, and he would read it before they got on the airplane.

As the three cousins entered the airport, they glanced around and noticed other people waiting around from their class including Rin, Kina, and Kyo. "We get here this early and we're still not the first ones?" Micky asked.
"Guess not." Amy replied.
Drew simply nodded in response.
"Drew, are you okay?" Micky asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Drew nodded once more. "Just a little tired, that's all."
"Well, at least we get a vacation." Amy smiled.
"Yeah, I guess."

'No matter what you leave behind, and no matter how much you try to forget, you can't. Your troubles will only be here when you get back.'

His mother's words echoed through his head, a reminder of the day he left.

Aka sighed, after Ken had picked her up from the meeting place they had come home to find a letter. Now she and Ken were packing. She pulled out the drawers and basically poured them into her suitcase.

It didn't fit real nice but who cared? Not Aka. Clothes packing finished she headed to the bathroom where she bumped into Ken who stared at her.

"You're finished packing your clothes already?" Aka nodded.

"What? You think I was gonna take time to do that? Uh-uh." She moved past him into the bathroom. Gathering up all her necessitys from there before retuning to her room and sticking all her CD's and her portable player into her backpack. She grabbed some new clothing and headed back towards the bathroom, calling to Ken as she did.

"I'm gonna take a hot shower, call me when you're done." She went into the bathroom and closed the door.

The dreams faded away as the constant beeping rang clearly in Jace's head. He rolled over and smacked his clock firmly. The noise stopped as he sat up in his bed. He rubbed his tired eyes as he focused on the clock's image.

7:00

Jace cocked his head to the side for a moment as he reached down to scratch his crouch. He pulled his scattered blankets from his nearly naked body, a small twinge of pain from his shoulder as he stood up.

"Alex!" Jace shouted as he walked to his bedroom door. "Yo! Princey-boy!" Jace opened the door and started towards the kitchen.

"In here Jace-chan!" Alex shouted back.

Jace turned from the kitchen and started towards the front door. Alex had most of both their things packed and set by the front door already. Jace dropped his jaw as Alex looked up at him.

"What the hell! You get up at the crack of dawn or something?" Jace shouted at him.

"As a matter of fact..."

Jace waved his hand at Alex as he turned away from him and started towards the kitchen.

"Don't take too long, Jace-chan, or we'll be late and might miss the boat."

"Yeah yeah yeah." Jace grumbled as he walked into the kitchen, still wearing only boxers.

He grabbed a few random items, shoved them into his mouth, and headed towards the shower.

"God it'll be nice when I can work out again. This being laid up shit is for the birds." Jace grumbled as he walked into the bathroom. He reappeared wearing only a green towel around his waist.

"Hey Princey-boy! You pack all my stuff?"

Alex walked into the hallway to answer Jace's questions. His eyes grew wide at Jace's sight. "No," he stuttered at first. "Left some clothes behind."

"Good." Jace said, walking into his room to change.

He wore slightly fitting black jeans with a white muscle-tank. He had a navy blue over shirt that was left unbotton exposing his well-muscled body. His hair was a mess upon his head, but the dark strands seem to add to the whole outfit.

"Let's go." Jace said, picking up his bags as he started towards the door. Once the cool air washed over Jace's body did he realize how sore he was. His rib cage throbbed and his lip was puffy. He was going to need this vacation more than he'd like to admit.

Ken ran a hand through his hair and looked blankly through his suitcase. He was packed, the taxi would be there in half an hour. Aka was taking another shower. Guess she didn?t trust there?d be running water wherever they were going. Ken was out-of-it for a different reason though. Maria had called. She wasn?t going on the trip. In fact, she was leaving. Everyone was shaken by the explosion, so they were moving to a different school. He may not see her again. Ken sat on the bed and placed his head in his hands. He had never admitted it to anyone, but he had liked her? really liked her. Not like he did the other girls, she was different? way different. He heard a hesitant knocking at his door. He looked up to see Aka looking at him with concern.

?Hey there. The cab is here? Are you ok??

Already? Had he seriously been zoned out that long? He stood and shook out his hair, grabbing his bag and walking past Aka to the door. ?Yeah, I?m good. Let?s blow this place.?

They rode to the airport in silence. At the airport, students crowded the boarding deck, talking and checking their bags. He saw Kaela, who waved, grinning at him. He managed a killer grin in return, but couldn?t make it over to her because of the crowd. He decided to look for others he could talk to closer to him until they boarded.
