Those 2 were the remade versions after several people gave some suggestions about changes.

And this one is my latest one. I thought that shaping the banner this way made it look a little better but this banner could be only used on a white background if you want it to keep it's shape. [/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[color=darkgreen]They all look excellent. You seem to really do well with abstract pictures, and that's great. I don't really see too much abstract artists here on the OB. I think you and Retribution are those artists, that I've seen anyway.

They are really bright and busy, leading the eyes to wander around and look for things. Very nice.[/color]

Modest to no end, neh? In all honesty, I'm not 'far more creative' than you -- I just have a different vision than you.

Personally, I like your bleach banner alot. A really nice, yet subtle touch was the man in the reflection of the sword, which was completely awesome. The crispness (thru blend-modes I assume) of the entire thing was stunning... sweet eye candy. You have yet to teach me that abstract effect you do that makes it look ... awesome.

The problem with the bleach banner is that where it's supposed to be transparent, it's still white. Save it as a .gif file instead of whatever you're using. .gif supports transparency. Hope it helps.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]I really, really like the Ichigo banner, despite not being a Bleach fan. The colors are very nice, vibrant is always good, and the picture's nice and clear.

But the thing I think really makes that banner is the way the corner-cutout follows the words. I don't know why, but I like that part the best. How odd.[/COLOR]

[color=gray][size=1]I like the pictures you used. I've never seen those before and they seem great quality. Also, I think each of the pictures fits its background really nice.
The text is standing out way too much though. You might want to make the text layer want to blend in more.

[SIZE=1]I mean... what do you want me to say? That all of these are awesome? They're good, mostly but...

You have only one effect I've seen so far, which is the grungy, sketchy, colored background with a clean image on top. It looks good in and of itself, but in general, it's really really played. Get a new effect, and experiement. They're getting repetitive, and sometimes I think that you just slightly alter/flip one original template, then throw some text and a stock on it.

I also think the 5/05 could've been incorperated into the banner better. It seems to stick out. And maybe changing the font for "Operation" to display each character's emotions would've been better.

Sorry if I sound harsh. But I think we're good enough friends for you not to be pissed.[/SIZE]

Like I told you on AIM the font really bothers me, so I have to agree with Retribution on that.
Aren't those images from that one Naruto site? I admire the person who added color to the black and white tones. Your cropping is amazing. The BGs are pretty well done, although it kinda irritates me on how they're all the same but just re-colored.

But hey, it's your work. Do what you want. Keep it up pal.

Very nice extraction! Skillful, right to the last pixel of outline. Yep, yep. That's pretty special.

I like the backgrounds very much but I suggest you, um, try a new style. It's clear that you've already mastered the grungy side of banner-making, something which only a few OB artists practice. Nice to have someone unique in Art Studio. [/SIZE][/COLOR] :catgirl:

[size=1]Those Naruto pictures you used are amazing! I've never seen pictures like those, the quality in them is outstanding. You should try something other than the same style of background though. The BGs are greant and all, but try something different, don't just recolor them.Try switching fonts too, that font you used on the Naruto ones is... odd.

On your Jack Johnson banner, i have no clue wht it is a picture of. I see a guitar and kind of a guy holding it at an angle, but that's about it.[/size]

Well i was looking through a Naruto gallery and i saw this picture and i couldn't resist. I played with some stuff and got this cool Orange-reddish looking color. So i hope everyone likes it.

[SIZE=1]Looks pretty good -- I especially like the shredded look of this banner, and the colors are very explosive and harmonious. The left side is particularly weak with those orange swirls. I'd also improve on would be the typography, which is still somewhat lacking in all our banners. The Arial font isn't gonna cut it anymore, and you need to download more. I trust you know of font resources, the talented banner maker you are.

Very interesting concept, awesome colors, but poor text. Something more Asian-esque would've been a winner.[/SIZE]

[COLOR=#95005E][SIZE=1]Yeah, Asian fonts would look really spiffy but Rising Sun created a duplicate layer and offset it to go, I think, with the theme of the banner. Since Arial is a familiar font, we easily made out what's actually written. Throw in something different like Yonezawa and people'll be squinting. I don't know. If your objective is to make your name look grungy, then Trib speaks the truth.

As for the whole banner, it appeals to my senses. You could roughen the edges up a bit (random PS Magic Wand + Clear will probably do the job) to match the image, which is kinda grungy-lookin'. Aside from that itsy-bitsy part, I give your banner a well-deserved [b]9.5/10[/b]. Definitely something I would carry around in my sig.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Assuming this is supposed to be a fun banner, I'm not gonna really be all that harsh.

It looks pretty good, and the concept is original which is the most important. The typo is nice and colorful, but the best part is the "13." I have to say though, I don't like the black space in the middle, or the "I'm a RADICAL" much. Hehe.

[SIZE=1]I like the first three abstract banners, the grey one being my favorite from that set. The text is too bold though, it makes the banner seem off balance. Maybe lighten the opacity, and possibly add something to the right.

I don't care for the other four in that post. The effects used on Sasuke don't look right to me, and the fonts are horrible. I also don't care for the bright orange, although that could be my monitor because I'm having problems with the monitor. XD

I love the Naruto banners, but I do agree with Boo on the text. I'm not a fan of gradiated type either. >.< Also, you got those images from PaintPixel.com, I hope you asked touse them otherwise that could lead to ugly situations. x.x She is an amazing cger indeed.

Those last three I don't like as much. What is the first one suppose to be? The second and third I dislike mainly because of the quality, its fuzzy. The random stroked and non stroked text in the second banner is kind of distracting. -.-

I love that little silhouette thing behind the text, too...it makes it seem like an icon, which I really like.
