Gaming What is the best Final Fantasy couple?

Just curios who do you think is the best Final Fantasy couple. Don't foget to tell why. Me I think it's Areis and Cloud. But they can't be a couple. So I would hafe to say Yuna and Tidus because They are both so innocint and sometimes cluless. There personaltys match eachother very well. they are very cute.

The best couple would be Zidane and Garnet. They are both short and they look cute together. The story between her and Zidane was the best. The best POTENTIAL couple would be Aeris and Vincent. ^-~!

Come to think of it, I've never been a big fan of any of the Final Fantasy pairings. And that long, annoying, and unskipable scene right before the calm lands pissed me off enough that I can't bring myself to like Tidus/Yuna.

My decision is divided between Cloud and Aeris, and Yuna and Tidus. Cloud and Aeris had that unspoken love, it was a bond you could see and feel, but no one really talked about it. Yuna and Tidus seemed to mesh together well, the opposites attract thing. They transcended time as well as two connected FF games, the first ever.

As for FFX, the romantic undertones between Tidus and Yuna drove me absolutely crazy. I enjoyed the actual game well enough, but I pretty much detested every single one of the characters, and being forced to watch them interact made me want to give up on it entirely.

In other cases, the love story angle just left me cold. The main romance in FFIX made a big impression on me, though--while the game has its flaws, I was able to overlook them because I liked that one aspect of it so much.

My absolute favorite is of course Squall & Seifer, [I]all the way[/I]! You can just sense the electricity, the tension, the forbidden lust between them...

And don't come telling me they aren't a pair! Sure, they don't get each other at the end of the game, but I'm sure that the moment the cameras were shut, Squally dumped that sorry biatché Rinoa and sought out his [I]twue wuv[/I], Seiffy! <3

But what I'd really like to see is Irvine and Zell together... What a sight!! :D

Heh, the traditional Fantasy couples bore me, but out of all the 'official' couples, I'd say Zidane and Garnet are the best.

My fave couple is Irivne and selphie!
They are best couple but then i do like cowboys and hyper people! I probably would have like ff8 if Selphie or Irvine were the main characters. But then having Zell as the main character would be cool!!!

I think Squall and Rinoa make a lovely couple...he always played the "I don't need anyone, leave me alone" character throughout Final Fantasy 8...but in the end...the scene with the Garden underneath the moon...

Then again...I think my opinion is biased since I've always like Final Fantasy 8's ending...

Final Fantasy 8 is good because it offers closure, rather then leave you wondering about what happens after the end of the game. And your right, Squall was always the "Lonewolf" and now he can't be, Rinoa is right there with him. Kind of romantic when you think of how much they've been through througout that entire game.

My unstereotypical couple is as follows, since the one posted before was a more traditional pair. Kuja and Zidane definitely have this. Kuja is porbably one of my favorite characters of all time, not really sure why, but I love him. Sephiroth and Cloud make a good couple as well. I love FF :catgirl:

Much as I love Zidane/Garnet, I have to say that Zidane/Kuja comes as a close second for me. Something about the pairing is vaguely evil and twisted, but that's probably why I like it. Poor Kuja... :animecry:

I don't know why, but FFVII seems to be the game best suited for coming up with really bizarre and crazy pairings--most likely because it has a large cast of ridiculously attractive young people, haha.

Personally I don't understand Sephiroth's appeal; he has a cool character design and all that, but he's honestly pretty boring in terms of personality, even with his [spoiler]tormented past.[/spoiler] So I can't bring myself to be excited by the idea of Sephiroth-related romance (in fact, I'm of the mind that the phrase "Sephiroth-related romance" has to be an oxymoron of some sort). But once you take him out of the equation, I'm game for pretty much anything other than Cloud/Tifa. It's all good, really.

I've never properly understood why people of both genders are screaming after him either, but I guess people have the tendency to make things that look good interesting by force. *shrugs*
