Enhanced Guidelines for Reviews

I was visiting the reviews section of theOtaku the other day and I noticed that there aren't very many reviews on the various shows. I looked up the site guidelines and although they do give information on what to do it seems like they are a little too vauge.

Reviews must be well-written with proper grammar and spelling. Along with articles, this is one of our most competitive areas. Over 90% of all submitted reviews are rejected.
Reviews must seek to balance both a summary of the anime with an evaluation of it. The best reviews summarize for 30-40% and then evaluate for 60-70%. Often, reviews are rejected for summarizing 100% or evaluating 100%.

As I was reading the review I noticed that some of them included sub-catagories like

Story/Setting, Animation, Voice Acting, Music, Over all Opinion.

I submitted a review myself, but since it hasn't been 48 hours yet I don't know if it was accepted or not. Basically I think it would help if there was a more specific guideline of exactly what you are looking for in a review. I am sure that many fellow members are like myself. We have a good opinion, but don't have the specific skills or understanding of how to write reviews.

Maybe a format with sub-catagories would be a good idea. :animeswea
