To the romantic, she looked as though she'd fallen off the face of the earth from a lost lover, mentally lying dead on concrete in a pool of blood as she spent her day-to-day time. To the creative, she looked like a stolen princess, unhappy in her new home. To the majority, she was just an unhappy girl.[/size][/font][/color][color=black] [size=2] [/size]

There was little to no war, so wepons stopped advancing and doubled in numbers among the public. Crime within countries had reached an all time high. And majority IQ had skyrocketed. Many in the north east had unussual stratigical and logical thinking, some had speed and sleek, clean coordination. And yet, others had extream psychic abilities which included pyrokeniese, telekeneises, hydrokeneises, ect. Those without at least one of these abilities often felt lonely and outcasted, though they were in no way looked down upon by society; though they were looked down upon by some individuals.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Garamond][size=2][color=#2e8b57]Europe was on the verge of civil war. The dispute was sensless to each side. Both sides thinking the other was compleatly wrong. What was the dispute? Religion. Isn't it ironic that a god of peace disrupts the earth to war? That was the public thought. In anycase, both sides were developing small armies of individuals with outstanding IQs and abilities. They were going to proove their point.[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Garamond][size=2][color=#2e8b57]Alim wouldn't have cared a lick about any of this, if a new aquaintance hadn't been involved in it. Adam Sykes had known Alim not a week before he'd realized how accepting she was of him. Adam was one of the few that had a generally low IQ and no patterned ability. Alim had extream ability in coordination and speed as well as pyrokeneises. Considering this, Alim still respected and accepted Adam. This was the first Adam had been accepted so easily.[/color][/size][/font]

Alim didn't discuss it further. Religion was nonsense in her mind. Compleat bullsh*t. Which is what made it so hard to tell alim he was joining his father in war. Alim accepted this. Adam asked her to go with him and she was silent. Adam was special to her. She didn't know him. She barely knew him. But he was special to her. Adam felt the same. Unreasonable atraction to someone he barely knew. She sent him away to let her think it through. As soon as he shut the door behind him, she knew she wouldn't be left beihnd.[/color][/size][/font]

Though his parents kept their hopes up, average results persisted through his preteen years and off into his teens. At fifteen, his mother died of heart disease, diagnosed too late to be treated. By then, his father had grown accepting of his son's ordinary nature. At school, Adam made below average scores, but only because standards had been pushed so high. His social life was slim to none, ignored by others who considered him inferior. But he stuck close to his father, and when war was on the horizon, he felt he was obligated to join him. Despite some recent events and some stirred up feelings...
