RPG Dragonial RPG

The small group gathered: Ryu and Ragear, Siren and Tann, and a weary Silva. Ryu laid her down gently on the ground, where she promptly burst into tears.
"Wha--?!" Ryu backed away, totally startled.
"Leave her alone," Siren advised.
"But why?"
"Emotional overload," Tann hissed sibilantly.
"What have you got to be upset about?" Ryu asked the tearful Silva.
"I--I--I--" Silva hiccuped as more tears coursed down her cheeks. Ryu grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her gently. Her eyes turned to him in an instant, alight with some fiery rage.
"...uh oh..."
She promptly punched him in the stomach, then sagged on the ground again. Ryu, winded, gasped for breath. "Sorry..."
Ragear giggled. Tann smiled knowingly. Now that the intial scare was over, Silva could regather her thoughts.
"I was about to die, possibly be some awful goblin's wife, already gone through massive heights, claustrophobia, losing Shiva, and you try to tell me there's [i]nothing to be upset about?![/i]"
Ryu merely gasped in reply.
Silva instantly felt guilty. "I'm sorry Ryu, it's just that so much has happened over a short period of time. Most of all, I just want Shiva back..." One last tear traveled down her cheek, dripping onto her crystal tear pendant.
There was a loud [i]whoosh![/i], then a [i]thump![/i], and a familiar face poked into the group.
"SHIVA!" Silva cried joyfully.
"Yes, my little Silvie, and look what I found." She carefully deposited a small silver dragon at their feet.
"Whoa, is that...Kam?"

[Dragon Warrior]

Everyone gathered around the 2 dragons, cheering for joy that they had returned. Ryu stayed behind them and thought to himself.

[I]Hmm... what was up with those Zood Raiders. What didn they want? And more important... what did they want with Silva...?[/I]

"Ryu!" Silva broke his thoughts.

"Huh? Yeah?"

"Look! It's Shiva!" She said joyfully, hugging Shiva's snout.

"Yeah. I see." He walked up to Shiva and petted her gently. Shiva growled and Ryu backed up.

"Shiva!" Silva scolded.

"I'm not growling at Ryu. I smell... Bandicoot."

"Again? But they don't live in this area of the forest. How can that be possible?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe it's not Bandicoot. I may just still have their scent."

Ragear's eye pupils thinned, "Rooie, I smell 'omethin' too!" But it wasn't too much after Ragear spoke that a large airship landed. Immediatly, out popped some humans wearing work clothes. The warriors were able to make it into the bushes before the humans saw.

"Okay. We must find a Black Mage and fast. C'mon!" said the head-human. And they were off.. hunting down a black mage.

(Black mage, huh? Sounds familiar *cough*FF9*cough* :p Also, has anyone played the Legend of Dragoon, for if so, I am getting an idea here--we have seven players, right...? :D )
End side note, on with story.

Yeah. FF9 is pretty cool but i didn't get it from it. FF didn't make up Black Mages. Black Mages are sorcerers that use black magic as their art.

And I have Legend of Dragoon. Best game for PS. What's the idea?

Basic idea of the Dragoon is that seven knights (each rep. an element) command the power of a dragon--think DNA digivolving a Dragon and a human, if that helps, Cera. In any case, this was how I thought everyone was lining up so far (PS-I just began Legend of Dragoon, so PLEASE DO NOT spoil it for me!!!):

[COLOR=blue]Silva and Shiva (?): Water Element[/COLOR] [COLOR=green]Leona and Wind (Lowitz): Wind Element[/COLOR]

[COLOR=indigo]Riven and Kam (Rose): Darkness Element[/COLOR]
[COLOR=burlywood]Ken and Tenshi (Shana): Light Element[/COLOR]
[COLOR=orange]Matt and Kai (?): Lightning Element[/COLOR]
Anyways, I'm not saying we should automatically turn our story that way, but we could use something along those lines to add to our story. ^_^

Ryu, Ragear, Siren, and Tann immediately gave chase. After a few dozen feet, Ryu slowed down and called back to Silva. "Coming?"
"No, no thank you, I think I should just wait here and take care of----Kam?"
She looked down at her hands, but nothing was there. A weight jumped from her hands and the grass blew apart as if something had hit it.
"Kam?"
A click in reply. Shiva shook her head. "Leave the small one. Kam is looking for Riven."
"So, you coming?"
"Ryu!" Siren called, "hurry UP! They're getting away!"
"C'mon Silva!"
Silva furrowed her forehead. She didn't feel like going, but what else could she do?
An explosion rocked the cliffside behind her and the girl quickly made up her mind. "Let's go Shiva!"
"Yes, indeed, but watch [i]out![/i]"
A large boulder slammed into the cliff, tumbling down.
"Hey, what gives?" Ryu griped. "Boulders don't just suddenly tumble down on their own!"
"Or do they?" cackled a hideous voice. The Dragonas and their Dragons turned back to the cliff where a figure dressed in black stood.
"...is that a black mage...?"

Matt stands ready to fight the dark mage.

Matt: So, we finally meet again. I've got friends this time, you won't get off so easily as the last time.

Dark Figure: Is that you Matt? Ha! You do have confidence in yourself, but your power, or your friends, is no match to mine! Prepare for your end!

Matt: Anyone want out, run. But I'm staying. This is the shadowman who killed my family. One way or another, this ends tonight. In or out?

[Raquel]

if i got earth i might as well start now

siren: well i-... look out!!

she throws up her hands to ward off the bolder and a solid wall of rock rises up from the ground... they all can hear the bolder explode into fragments

siren: *looks puzzled* did i know i could do that??

ryu: we got bigger things to deal with right now siren!!

siren: right!

Silva takes out her bow and twirls it like a spear. "I don't know who you are" (she looked at Matt) "or you" (this time the black cloaked man) "but chunking rocks" (to dark cloaked man again) "is definitely RUDE!" So saying she drew an arrow.
"HEY!" Ryu hollered. "You guys ain't fighting without ME!"
"Ee too!" Ragear chimed.
Ryu drew his sword and charged. Ragear roared and followed. Shiva and Tann screamed battle cries as Siren and Silva prepared to fight.
"Not so fast!" sneered the man. "I have a life that I will snuff if you do not back away!" He held up...Riven!
"Oh $@#$^..." Ryu muttered darkly.
"Riven!" Silva cried.
"Ah good, I see you all know her already," the man laughed evilly. "This makes her that much more of a valuable bargaining chip!" Riven simply glared at him, waiting for the invisible Kam to eat through the ropes that binded her.
Siren flushed angrily, and the earth shook about her. Meanwhile, Matt rushed into combat against the man.

As Matt and Kai charge towards the shadowman, he draws his sword and prepares for the fight. He and Matt exchange sword blows, the clashing can be heard for miles. Kai stands ready to fight.

Shadowman: I see you've sharpened you skill!

Matt: More than you'll ever know!

Kai jumps in the battle, so now the shadowman is fighting with Matt and simultaneously dodging Kai's attacks from his tail. How the man could posses such speed and agility was beyond the dragonas, but they didn't care. Riven angrily prepares for battle, as does everyone else.

[Dragon Warrior]

Ryu charted his falchion and pointed it at the black-cloaked thing. "What are you?"

The black-cloaked man laughed, "Is that how you introduce yourselves? My, what rude manners! Your are truely the [I]rude[/I] ones!" He summoned black magic and blasted Purple lightening at Silva. Ryu easily shoved her out of the way but was hit himself.

"Hahaha! My hero! I am a black Mages indeed but i am not just a black mage! I am a Black Chard. I'm No. 2 of the Black Chards. There's over 300! Ha ha!" He shot another blast but this time Ryu blocked with his blade.

Matt jumped the Black Chard No. 2 but was completely thrown off and down a cliff. Shiva went straight into action and saved him, placing him down on the ground.

Ryu got up and walked toward Silva and whispered to her, "I have an idea. follow my lead." and they were off to do one of Ryu's best skills.

siren: who is this guy... hurting my friends is not nice!!

she puts her hands on the ground and summons a golem... the monster of rock and soil roared and barreled towards the black mage

siren: go! he's distracted!!

Chill, man, I've been struggling with a lot of stuff lately--my relative's wedding, my own Internet service collapsing, and me spraining my ankle really bad. I bet because of the couple day Internet collapse (40% of all users were hit), some of us are still trying to get our online services running again.
In the meantime, why don't you tell us what the heck your chara is up to? I mean, it'd make it a lot easier on me! ;):rolleyes: :D :angel:
