blou
I understand the otaku has had problems with introductoins in the past, but that was in the past, and I think you should move on. I know that there are many people on this site who would like to get themselves noticed and introduced so that they have people to talk to and chat. I think this would improve The Otaku socially, and in general. If this is not possible, what are people doing to make themselves noticed or what can us Otaku members do?? I'm just confused, concerned, and would like to know how that can be improved....
Annie
Things like this, is how new members get recognized, for one. Bringing questions/suggestions to view is a good way to get involved with members. Introductions doesn't really serve too much of a purpose, soley on the fact that the threads just end up becoming conversations and spam. The PM system is there for conversating, and is a great way to get to know a member. Other ways to get "noticed" is by posting quality. It swings both ways, though, so you have to be careful. In one hand, you can have horrible quality by spamming, flamming people, being inconsiderate, or just being annoying; which brings the wrong attention. Or, you can be mature and have good grammar and use of words, get involved in discussions and argue constructively, and over-all, just being a curtious, friendly person. I highly recommend you stick with the second option :p Stick around the OB. Don't resent it because of one little thing. If you stay, you'll see that the community here is pretty friendly and helpful, as well as notorious and infamous >.> But that's a good thing.
