Yeah, as it was mentioned before. That hasn't changed. I honestly can't see it being an issue for anyone. The game isn't about level grinding to begin with and there's plenty to do at any level.

Wow, I'm glad you people pulled me in again last night. I'm planning on buying this game tonight, weather permitting (I severely dislike Kansas weather. It's hot when I was working, raining when I want to buy something.)

I'm excited seeing that so many people here are playing this game. My problem with other MMO's that I've played (usually free ones like Mu) is that I can never connect with a group enough to come back to them. So yay to you all.

So, I want to ask if I need to be on a specific server to play with you guys. Upon learning this most valuable information, I will use the magic button that you people call "edit" to provide you with the name of my character/cash cow so I can join your guild.

Also, do you have a lack of any certain class that you need more of? Or does that really matter? I'll most likely end up playing a tank anyway. Cough, sorry. [i]Warrior[/i].

I'm also doing Guild Wars. I've got a nice, eclectic mix of characters. Once I have some time, I'll post pics of them.

One is a Necromancer/Warrior named Jade Ashland. She's level 15, I think. The second is a level 9 Elementalist/Necromancer named Marlow Ashland. Yes, those two are siblings, haha. A level 8 Mesmer/Ranger named Jacob Karath is third, and rounding out the line-up, a level 9 Elementalist/Monk, Faye Noran.

In response to the comment about dial-up above, there is a little lag in big fights and loading new areas can take a couple of minutes. Its still utterly playable, my main problem is going to come when my parents get the phone bill for the next quarter.

On the PvP and guilding questions, since all the PvP arenas are (I think) available with RP characters you can just party up for them, but they won't count for guild rankings.

[SIZE=1]I just got guildwars last night and I've been waiting to get it all week. It's pretty addicting and the graphics are amazing. I chose Elementalist/Ranger ( I liked the purple hair ). But I'm having trouble with acouple quests especially finding one of the ranger trainers (help!) so if anyone could help a newbie like me, that would be great! I'm level 7. I have to say I'm enjoying this game a lot more then I did with wow for some reason, it's simple, easy, the only complaint I have is that people in town seem a bit....crazy. [color=#4B0082]The Radeon 9000 is listed in the recommended system specs, so the game should at least run, if not perfectly smooth. I've got a GeForce FX 5200 and the game runs smooth so long as I turn the graphics settings down. Even with everything all the way down, though, it still looks pretty good.[/color]

As a side-note, Desi and I wiped out a whole herd of Hydras (rather tough Fire-based enemies with massive Knockdown abilities) up in the northern region of Ascalon earlier tonight. I nabbed a few screenies from it; I'll post them later. At one point in the (carefully planned) slaughter, we came to the realization that we were smack-dab in the middle of their spawn point.

Anyway, I've really enjoyed this game thus far. I've never been too into online RPGs, but this game is really opening my horizons. It's great.

Dessy and I did a few quests together today. It was my first time actually having another player along with me, and it was fun.

Awesome to hear you're enjoying it, Mitch. The game is really quite glorious. ^_^

To turn the HUD off, you can either hold Shift and hit Print Screen, which will just take a screenshot without the HUD.

Or, you can hit Control, Shift, and H and turn it off altogether. Just repeat the keystroke (Ctrl, Shift, H) to re-activate the HUD.

Desbreko and I (hmmm...seems like Desi's on more than any of us) ran a few quests earlier today. I'm happy to say I'm now in Lion's Arch with Jade Ashland, my Necro/Warrior. Everyone else is a bit behind, hehe.

Speaking of Necros, Well of Blood is a very handy spell to have, especially if you're facing off against Necro-based creatures using Bone Summon spells in PvE. If you've got the timing right, you can use Well of Blood to "use" the corpses of your enemies to prevent any Bone Horror summons. It's a neat little tactic that Desi and I figured out as we were fighting Abominations up around Dragon's Gullet in Post-Searing.

And Well of Blood is also an AoE Health regen spell, so any party members, pets, etc., within its coverage will get a nice regen boost. ^_^

Well, after a week-long break from Guild Wars (a certain demo interfered) I've finally got myself to Lion's Arch. And I had to do the mission directly preceding it with only one other person, too, thanks to the rest of the group finding they suddenly didn't have the time for it halfway through. Still, there is something incredibly satisfying about been outnumbered by so many nasty critters and yet still winning.

Anyway, I've being looking over the Guild Halls, though nothing in particular has stood out for me. I have a thing or two I like about each of them, so I'll certainly have to keep on examining them for a while.

And lastly, taking a little tip from Desbreko, here's one or two little things I've got lying about that I'm willing to part with, so contact me, in-game or otherwise, if you'd like something.

So...there you have it. All of the guild halls, I believe. I only took one of the Isle of the Dead, because Catacombs bore me to tears, and I've played the Isle of the Dead before in a BWE, and it wasn't all that great. Too many repeating textures and there's a huge tar pit in the center that was more an annoyance than strategic benefit/detriment.
